Floor A (Part 3)
Part 1 Part 2

WHAM!WHAM!WHAM!
That sounded like someone pounding on a door.
Or trying to kick it down.
“Izzy?!  C’mon, man, open up!  I got quinoa!  And brown rice and beans!  And organic chicken!  Her name was Esther and she was raised without antibiotics!  She died of natural causes!  In her sleep!   Are ya hungry!”
This would be the perfect time for you to take a break.  And find out just what the hell was going on out there.
You opened up your door just a crack to see a very tall man with shaggy blonde hair in skintight jeans and a black tank top, his tattooed arms full of biodegradable containers, kicking Dr. Isbell’s door with a very purposeful gray cowboy boot.
“IZZY!!  I know you’re in there!  Open up!”
That’s Dr. McKagan, you realized.  Susan’s McSteamy that she went on and on about.  You had decided to humor her and had made a trip over to cardiac just to see this supposed dreamboat in person.
You hadn’t been disappointed.  Obviously you preferred Dr. Isbell’s dark, rock star biker aesthetic over McKagan’s blonde, punky one, but the cardiologist was very attractive.
And very loud.
“IZZZZZYYY!!!?  Don’t tell I have to text-”
The pathologist’s door flew open at that moment, thankfully when Dr. McKagan’s boot wasn’t planted on it, and a very irritated Dr. Isbell hissed, “Shut up, Duff!”
Dr. McKagan laughed.  “Why?  You got someone on the slab and you think I’m gonna wake ‘em up?”
“No, dumbass, I have a neighbor now.”
You leaned back away from your door so the two of them couldn’t see you.
“No shit?” Dr. McKagan asked.  “What was their crime?”
“Standing in the way of Kim’s corner suite dreams.”
“Damn.  Poor soul, stuck down here with you and the cadavers.”
You couldn’t make out Dr. Isbell’s response to that, and the frustration had you biting your fist.
Then the sounds of the Beatles’ “Help!” filled the basement.
“Oh shit, Izz, I gotta go.  That’s an emergency.  Here, take all of it, you probably need some vitamins working in this dungeon,” and you peeked out just to see Dr. McKagan shove the food containers into Dr. Isbell’s arms and take off towards the stairwell.
“You say that like you’re a doctor,” Dr. Isbell called at his retreating back, then his shoulders slumped as he sighed.
Your eyes met his through the crack in your door.  “Hey,” he said quietly, “sorry you had to hear all that.  Would you like to have some lunch?  I can’t possibly eat all of this.”
“Sure,” you said, not quite certain you weren’t dreaming.
You had expected Dr. Isbell to hand you one of the containers, but instead he turned his back to you and walked back to his office door.  You guessed that you were supposed to follow him inside, and you paused, long enough to realize you really were willing to do anything he asked, even follow him into a morgue.
Only it wasn’t a morgue.  You walked past a huge room filled with lab equipment and some very impressive, very hi-tech microscopes.  (The stack of gloves marked L did not escape your attention, as well as the fact they were black.)  You could hear music, some tasteful slide guitar playing quietly, and silently approved his excellent musical taste.
Dr. Isbell finally turned around and motioned you into his private office, and you were surprised at how utilitarian it was, a desk, a small table and two chairs the only furniture in it, and only a few framed diplomas on the wall.  No awards, nothing remotely boastful about his decor.
No pictures of his bike.
No pictures of a girlfriend, either.
He sat down at the table and laid down the two containers, one marked with an “I” on the top and one with a “D”.  “They’re the same thing, except mine has avocado.  You can have it if you want it.”
“No, thank you, this is fine,” you said, unwrapping your cutlery, touched he was willing to give up his lunch if you asked for it.
“This is Duff’s health food crap he’s always forcing on me.  Thinks I’m not getting enough nutrients down here.”
“Duff?” you asked him, scooping up some quinoa and beans.  It was actually pretty good, although your company was much more enjoyable.
“Yeah, that’s what everyone calls him.  Even his mom.  Dr. McKagan and I were undergraduates together.  We uh, had a band.”
“Is that them?”  You jerked your chin toward the only photo Dr. Isbell had on his wall, a group of 5 guys standing together.  Duff was the tallest, and Dr. Isbell was standing on the end, a floppy black hat hiding most of his face.
“What did you play?” you asked him, curious now.
“Rhythm guitar,” he answered, then took a bite of his lunch.
“That’s cool.  Do you still play?”
“Uh, yeah.  That’s me,” he indicated the music in the background, and your mouth fell open.
“Really?  Wow, you’re very good,” and he ducked his head, not before you saw his cheeks flush pink.
“Thank you,’ he said shyly.  “I don’t want you to think I sit around listening to my own stuff all day, but I wrote this and I’m trying to figure out what the next part should be…”
He trailed off because now you were just openly staring at him, completely amazed.  “Wow,” you breathed, then as he looked down and took another bite you decided you had to ask him what you were dying to know.
“Dr.-”
“Please call me Izzy.”
Okay.  “Izzy, why do you have such a-”
“Bad reputation?” He sighed.  “Because I dated someone who used to work here, and when we broke up she started a bunch of rumors about me.  And because nobody knew me, or ever saw me-”
“People believed them,” you finished sadly.  You looked out toward the rest of his quarters, then looked back at him and said, “Well, you do cut open the dead for a living.”
He laughed, a short bark that brought out the most beautiful smile you’d ever seen and you became light-headed for a moment.  “I don’t cut people open near as much as everyone thinks.  I’m usually hunched over a microscope, making notes.”
“You don’t do autopsies?” you asked, now incredibly confused.
“Well, yeah, I do.  I actually like doing them,” he said, and you gasped out loud.
He sat up, elbows on the table, and you noticed he had really beautiful hands.  “Do you know why an autopsy is performed?”
You wordlessly shook your head.
“It’s because there’s a mystery.  Either they don’t know who the person is, or because they don’t know how they died.  An identification has to be made.  When I do an autopsy, I feel like I’m helping someone, giving them the last gift I can give to them.  I’m giving them closure.”
“That sounds very noble,” you said, now completely flabbergasted.  Dr. Isbell-Izzy-wasn’t a monster at all.  He was actually a really lovely person.
His girlfriend was probably crazy about him.  Although from the looks of his office, he didn’t return the favor.
His quiet voice broke into your thoughts.  “Yeah, well don’t let it get out that I’m noble.  I gotta keep everybody afraid of me,” he said.
“Why is that?”
“So they’ll leave me alone.”
“Is that what you want?” you asked softly, trying to keep the disappointment out of your voice.
“I want most people to leave me alone.”  He paused, his eyes making direct contact with yours.  “I didn’t say all of them.”
That hit you like a sledgehammer in the chest.  Did that mean what it sounded like?
“Other than Duff, I never have lunch with anyone here.  Uh, thank you.  For having lunch with me.”
Oh.  Guess he didn’t mean it that way.
“Thank you, Izzy.  For asking me.”
“I’m sorry it was that hi-octane roughage Duff eats.  He went nuts for Quinoa Bowl when it opened up.  I usually go to Taco Bell.”
Be still my heart, you thought.
Even though going back to your office was the last thing you wanted to do, you knew you had to get back to work.
“Thank you again,” you said, and he nodded, and you could’ve sworn you saw a haunted sadness flicker across his face as you turned to leave.
Izzy really did love Taco Bell.  The next day he’d brought back a feast and invited you over to his office again, the two of you devouring it with gusto.
You had to switch your phone to vibrate and leave it in your office because Kayli and Susan were blowing up it up when you opted to eat lunch with the good doctor, who was warming up to you.  He didn’t elaborate on his personal life, and you were afraid to ask, but you had learned he was from Indiana, he played drums and bass and guitar and piano, oh and he sang too, he loved the Rolling Stones, and was into skateboarding as well as motorcycles.
He wasn’t kidding when he said he didn’t have lunch with anyone.  He seemed incredibly lonely.  Like he hadn’t talked to anyone in a year.  Or ten.  And you listened to him, his quiet voice speeding up and growing louder in his enthusiasm, watching his hands move excitedly, and your heart ached with compassion at this sweet man, locked in a hospital basement for so long without a friend, at least one with a heartbeat, and wished you could stay forever.

10 Natural Cold and Flu Remedies That Work + A Giveaway!
The irony is not lost on me that I’m currently writing this post while recovering from a cold/cough. I generally get one really bad cold every year and seeing as I managed to evade it for most of 2017, I’m not surprised that it reared it’s ugly head in the final weeks of the year. Hoping this will be the only one I get during cold and flu season!
Sometimes you get sick. It happens to all of us. And even though it could always be worse, it still totally sucks to be coughing up a lung or plowing through tissues like it’s your job. Sometimes sympathy is the best remedy!
But when that doesn’t work, I have my go-to protocol to help my body heal faster. I’m someone who takes meds as a final course of action. I’m not against western medicine and using medication to treat your body, but for things like colds and flus, it’s just not my jam. There are so many effective remedies for treating colds and flus naturally that I’d rather reach for my kitchen cupboards than my medicine cabinet.
I know I’m not alone in this sentiment, so I’m thrilled to see big brands jumping on board with consumer demand for natural remedies. I’m thrilled to be partnering with CVS pharmacy on this post, who has just come out with their Live Better line full of products that provide simple solutions that help your body heal naturally. Using only essential ingredients, Live Better products are free from artificial preservatives, dyes, colors and flavors, so you can feel good about using for yourself or sharing with your loved ones. It’s amazing to see consumer demand driving business supply. Let’s keep it up!
With that, I do have a protocol I like to follow when I feel my body getting sick or if the illness has already set-in. These 10 Natural Cold and Flu Remedies will help your body heal naturally without the use of over-the-counter drugs. Do all 10 or pick a few to stick to, but remember to remain consistent and be kind to your body. Stress can also induce and perpetuate illness so don’t forget to relax, sleep and let your body slow down. With that, here are 10 Natural Cold and Flu Remedies that actually work:
1. Gargle with salt water
Do this as soon as you start feeling sick! Not only can it help relieve a sore, scratchy throat, but if you go back to your middle school science days, water follows salt (#osmosis) so the idea is that gargling salt water actually pulls viral fluids out from the throat area. 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt dissolved in an 8-ounce glass of warm water and gargle it all 1-2x a day.
2. Honey
Honey not only helps soothe a sore throat it also works as a cough suppressant. Honey can soothe irritated mucous membranes which helps remove the irritation that is fuelling the cough reflex. CVS’s Live Better Cough Syrup is a great drug-free remedy, which uses a blend of dark honeys, vitamin C and zinc. Both vitamin c and zinc have been shown to help support your immune system so that’s a triple whammy! There’s also no artificial ingredients or added dyes or flavors so it’s a great natural solution for your cold and cough symptoms. Don’t forget to reach for the Children’s Cough Syrup for children over 12 months.
3. Take a Ginger Shot
Ginger is anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. It has been known to help with congestion, nausea, colds, and fevers. Either pick one up from a local juice store or juice a knob of ginger yourself. Eating ginger can also help but for the best bang for your buck, go for the juice shot.
4. Elderberry syrup
Elderberry is a fruit grown from the elder tree that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties making it a powerhouse when it comes to fighting colds. Studies have shown taking elderberry syrup can shorten colds and flus and also relieve sinus infections. Triple threat.
5. Propolis
Did you know that bees produce more than just honey? Yep, they make propolis too. Propolis is the substance bees use to seal in their hives so it’s super anti-viral and anti-bacterial. It’s great at fighting the common cold or sore throats.
6. Essential oils
Power to the plants! There are many powerful essential oils for cold and flus but here are a few that are easily accessible: Eucalyptus oil has antiviral and antimicrobial properties which have historically been used to treat the common cold. Peppermint oil is used as a natural decongestant and fever-reducer. It’s like a natural VapoRub. Just make sure when applying topically that you mix with a carrier oil!
7. Garlic
Garlic is a powerful antioxidant with antimicrobial, antiviral and antibiotic properties. Garlic is packed with minerals, enzymes, vitamin C, sulphur, and selenium which all help bust colds and flus. Enjoy garlic in your meals or eat a clove whole if you’re seriously brave.
8. Probiotics
This one is a little tricky. If you read my SIBO post, you might remember that when my gut wasn’t healthy, probiotics did me no good (in fact, they made things worse) HOWEVER if you have a healthy gut, probiotics can help give your immune system a boost. Whether through a probiotic pill or probiotic rich foods like yogurt and sauerkraut, it all starts in your gut!
9. Bone Broth
Bone broth, or that chicken soup Jewish grandmothers have been making for centuries, actually isn’t just a tall tale. A bowl of chicken soup, or homemade bone broth can be effective in helping to fight colds and flus. Bone broth contains anti-inflammatory amino acids and is packed full of immune supporting vitamins and minerals that are extra easy for your body to digest.. Don’t reach for those bouillon cubes though – you gotta use the real stuff to get the benefits!
10. Epsom salt bath
Add epsom salt to a hot bath along with some essential oils if you’d like to have a relaxing, detoxifying evening. Again with the osmosis thing, the minerals in the bath cause the toxins in your body to be released in the bath so not only is it relaxing, but it’s good for you too.
BONUS: Sleep! Give your body the rest it needs. I’ve learned this lesson many times over, but to really help your body heal you need to sleep as much as your body needs. Don’t just try to push through illness. Your body is working extra hard to fight something so rest and allow it to recover. If you’re having trouble sleeping, check out Live Better’s Immunity + Melatonin, which is a mixture of immune-boosting vitamins + minerals plus melatonin to help you sleep.
* * * * *

Sugar Leads to Depression - World's First Trial Proves Gut and Brain are Linked (Protocol Included)
It’s official. If you’re keeping up with the latest science, you know that the gut is inexorably linked to the brain. This year researchers found a correlation between depression and mood swings in men and high sugar intake.1 Last year a study showed probiotics could help with reducing the risk of depression.2 A growing body of evidence is proving that healthy people’s microbiota has a lot in common with other healthy people’s microbiota, and diseased people’s micro-biota also have common traits.3  They’ve been talking about how the gut may affect the brain and the immune system more and more for the last 20 years. Mainstream medicine is slowly figuring out that our gut’s microflora correlates directly with our health, and sugar and other junk foods do not promote healthy gut bacteria.

World’s First Trial Shows Improving Diet Can Treat Major Depression
Depression is one of the world’s most prevalent and costly medical disorders. It may be surprising to read “World’s First” in regards to a trial study establishing a link between diet and depression, as many would guess that this kind of study has done before. It hasn’t been, but headlines proclaiming that healthier diets may decrease the risk of depression have been appearing in the news more frequently. That is the work of Director of Deakin’s Food and Mood Centre Professor Felice Jacka and her team. She’s published numerous epidemiological (survey-based) studies reporting that eating an unhealthy diet shows you are more likely to be depressed. The studies were based on questionnaires. They were not actual diet experiments. They have simply educated guesses that hadn’t been tested in the real world yet. Until now.
Professor Jacka said the results of her team’s new study may offer a better approach to depression.
We’ve known for some time that there is a clear association between the quality of people’s diets and their risk for depression.
This is the case across countries, cultures and age groups, with healthy diets associated with reduced risk, and unhealthy diets associated with increased risk for depression.
However, this is the first randomised controlled trial to directly test whether improving diet quality can actually treat clinical depression.” – Professor Jacka
The Study Details
Professor Jacka’s team recruited 67 men and women. The participants had severe depression and also reported eating a relatively unhealthy diet. Most of them were taking antidepressants and/or were in regular psychotherapy.
Half of the participants adhered to a Mediterranean diet while they attended dietary support sessions with a nutritionist. The others continued eating as usual (unhealthy), but they were required to attend social support “befriending” sessions. Everyone’s depression symptoms were graded using several different tests.
Encouraged foods included: whole grains, fruits, vegetables, legumes, low-fat/ unsweetened dairy, raw unsalted nuts, lean red meat, chicken, fish, eggs, and olive oil
Discouraged foods included: Sweets, refined cereals, fried food, fast food, processed meat.
Beverage information: maximum two sugar-sweetened beverages per week and maximum two alcoholic drinks per day, preferably red wine.
The Study Results
People in the unhealthy diet group improved a statistically insignificant amount, and those in the healthy diet group improved their symptoms with a full third of them fully reversing their depression. It’s also important to note that this was done with conventionally accepted dietary protocols. It should be noted that these “healthy” diets are not that healthy. Imagine the results a more radical approach could have achieved.
How & Why (gut bacteria, B vitamins, etc.)
In another study, scientists from McMaster University wanted to test how mice with different gut bacterial conditions deal with stress.4
The baby mice were stressed from 3 to 21 days old by being separated from their mother for 3 hours each day. This experiment was conducted with mice that had different gut bacterial conditions. One group of mice was grown completely free of bacteria in their guts and kept in a sterile room to prevent bacteria from affecting their behaviors (germ-free mice). The other group were regular mice that were exposed to an ordinary, complex range of bacteria. The last group was a germ-free control group that hadn’t been separated from their mothers. The baby mice with normal gut microbiomes that had been subjected to early-life stress showed an unusual increase in the stress hormone corticosterone. They also exhibited signs of depression as well as anxiety. The germ-free mice, meanwhile, behaved similarly to the control mice, showing no symptoms of anxiety or depression. It is interesting to note that these mice also had elevated levels of corticosterone, just not symptoms of depression. Naturally, the control group showed no elevated stress hormone or altered behavior.”
These results indicate that the bacteria in our environment contribute to our mental health and behavior.
Next, they exposed the germ-free mice to bacteria taken from the stressed group. As the bacterial composition of the germ-free mice changed, so did their metabolic activity and their behavior. After a few weeks, the previously symptom-free mice were now showing signs of depression. Finally, the researchers wanted to see how the control group reacted when they were exposed to bacteria from the stressed mice. In this situation, the mice didn’t start showing symptoms of depression at all.” – IFLS
Our brains are running off of the energy our gut and our lungs are producing. If our gut is producing an unhealthy chemical environment, this effects the whole body including the brain.

Eat Right
So eating right…we’ve got you covered:

Stop eating sugar and processed foods. Yes, the depressed brain wants to reach for the nearest comfort food (donut, pizza, what have you), but the mice have proven that’s probably the last thing you actually need. The brain and the gut are intertwined and cultivating your beneficial bacteria with raw, fresh produce; soaked and sprouted nuts; and antibiotic-free, pasture-raised meats is a necessary part of any healing process. You don’t expect a mechanic to work on your car without tools. Why expect the same from your body?
Most people reading this who are really looking for answers to help with their depression are not going to be able to take on an entirely new lifestyle filled with shopping at farmers markets and cooking all of one’s own food. Think of this is the long-term goal and take baby steps towards being more connected and in touch with your food. Also, check out How I Overcame Depression Naturally and I’m Depressed.
Stop with the germaphobia
If you carry a small bottle of disinfectant on your keychain or find yourself constantly rubbing your hands together in a strange imitation of someone over a campfire, step away from the sanitizer. You’re doing more harm than good. Most commercial sanitizers contain harmful ingredients like triclosan, parabens, and sulfates. They also contribute to the inability to fight diseases naturally.
Exposure to harmful bacteria teaches the body how to naturally fight infection. It’s why we suggest that small children spend time playing in the dirt. But antibiotics, hand sanitizers, and household cleaners have taken that away from us, along with the beneficial bacteria. Beneficial bacteria is the gatekeeper to the immune system.
Play With Nature, Get Dirty
Speaking of sticking your hands in the dirt…do it. When you’re depressed, the last thing you want to hear s some random person chirping at you about how you should “just go outside…” but seriously…do it. Vitamin D is your friend.
If you’re near water, you’re in luck. Humans respond to water on a primal level.
Exert Yourself
This one is kind of like the go outside one…you gotta do it. Make it something simple. Maybe swap getting in the car for walking somewhere instead. Play your favorite music or enjoy some people watching.
A depressed brain is likely in short supply of feel-good endorphins and neurotransmitters.
Sleep Well
Make yourself go to bed. Stop looking at your phone. In fact, take a cue from babies, nature’s original fussy sleepers. Or at least a cue from their parents – nighttime routine. No, you’re not in a onesie (are you?), but many of the tricks used by hopeful parents can be modified to help you.
Bath, with soothing essential oils (because you’re an adult now!) or other pleasing spa products? Check. Soothing music/white noise/smoothly voiced NPR podcast? Check. A ridiculous book you don’t necessarily want anyone to see you reading? Check. Momma knows best, but you’re still a grown ass adult. Have fun planning a decadent pre-bed routine. Supplements To Fix The Gut & End Depression
SF722
Abzorb
Magnesium
Shillington’s Intestinal Cleanse
Shillington’s Intestinal Detox
Biotin (B complex or Chlorella)
Total Nutrition Formula (which has plenty of Chlorella)
Almost everyone in the world who is dealing with chronic health issues or chronic mental issues has an abundance of Candida and heavy metal toxicity, along with a lack of beneficial bacteria. Diet alone can fix this for most people, but when the head is not working well, choices don’t usually go well either. B vitamins can help alleviate depression until the healthy gut microbes develop. Good fats (click here) are a must for people who can’t assimilate Bs properly. For those dealing with depression, a diet rich in B vitamins and healthy fats is a very good start. Supplements can be used to accelerate healing and eliminate all the other ailments and used to kill Candida and promote healthy bacteria.

SF722
This is my favorite for killing anything fungal, but it also works on parasites and other pathogens. If you have had yeast infections, athlete’s foot, see floaters, have BO, or eat the way everyone in modern countries do, you’ll want this supplement. There are tons of other choices for killing yeast (click here), but I don’t know of anything that does a better job for the money than SF722. Candida can become fairly immune to many other antimicrobials but studies have shown that this does not happen with SF722.
Probiotics
Probiotics help fix everything int he gut, including breaking down and removing things that shouldn’t be there, like heavy metals. A healthy gut detox the body all the time. Often touted as the cure everything supplement for the well-informed, probiotics are something most everyone is familiar with these days. What most do not know is that the vast majority of probiotic supplements on the market are ineffectual at best, and many actually feed yeast. How the probiotics are processed and preserved make all the difference. It’s not an easy task to produce good probiotics; our stomach acid is designed to kill it. Two of my favorites are FloraMend and Bio-K (the latter is not available in our store, but it is at most health food stores and Whole Foods). I don’t recommend taking a probiotic with antimicrobials. A really good probiotic should come out on top, but you are reducing its effectiveness when you combine it with compounds that kill. For instance, I would take SF722 all day and a probiotic at night and early morning, or vice versa, where I take the probiotic with food and the SF722 late and early. Different digestive issues can favor one over the other so try both ways and see what works for you.
Don’t take them with antimicrobials, and make sure they are high-quality supplements. Anyone without an appendix should take a probiotic every day with every major meal for the rest of their life. Your appendix secretes out beneficial bacteria when you don’t have enough. Take them on an empty stomach as noted or with food to help digest food inside the gut. I recommend mixing it up each day, but I do recommend caution when taking systemic enzymes. Too many systemic enzymes can cause issues, they can start to eat away at the body, so I don’t just grab a big handful like I do with SF722. I personally take 4-6 a day on an empty stomach, and I take more with food as needed.
One antimicrobial you can take with probiotics is olive leaf extract. It’s great for maintenance but it’s not a yeast serial-killer like SF722 (otherwise it would damage the probiotic). It’s a fine supplement, and but it’s not going to do much of anything all by itself. I like Abzorb best right now for a probiotic. For more on systemic enzymes click here.
Magnesium
Magnesium is an old home remedy for all that ails you, including ‘anxiety, apathy, depression, headaches, insecurity, irritability, restlessness, talkativeness, and sulkiness.’ In 1968, Wacker and Parisi reported that magnesium deficiency could cause depression, behavioral disturbances, headaches, muscle cramps, seizures, ataxia, psychosis, and irritability – all reversible with magnesium repletion.” – Psychology Today
A small study reported that over-the-counter magnesium tablets significantly improve depression in just a couple of weeks.11
Magnesium is a foundational supplement, like calcium. In the modern world, there is a tendency to become deficient in this vital mineral, and this effects every single function of the body! Not having enough magnesium is like not having enough oil in the car. Something is going to break down sooner or later, and in the meaning time, things will not be running as well as they should.
Poop Easy
For some, the gut needs more help to eliminate properly. Everyone should defecate once for every meal, and maybe once or twice more for those who also snack on lots of calories throughout the day like I do. Shillington’s Intestinal Cleanse is the best I know of for healing the gut, killing parasites that may reside within, and getting the bowels regular. Shillington’s Intestinal Detox helps eliminate heavy metals and anything positively charged (like most pathogens), and it slows down and firms up stools. It also helps heal the gut and rebuild a healthy biofilm. Together the two supplements have synergistic properties, and they can be taken together to help balance the gut. It’s a very effective combination, but if the budget is tight, get the one that suits your needs. Note that if you have chronic constipation and have not tried magnesium yet, Shillington’s Intestinal Cleanse may not be necessary with a good magnesium supplement.
Conclusion
We rely on bacteria to survive and yet many aspire to live in an antibacterial world. We know certain heavy metals are incredibly toxic to us, but we excuse them in vaccinations and light bulbs and sushi. Most of us know that fresh, raw vegetables pull our heavy metal toxins, but we grow conventional vegetables with such a heavy toxic load that they no longer have their natural chelation properties. For most people, when it’s all said and done, our physical well being affects our mental well being more than anything else in our lives. Our entire body is built on what we eat. Our heart, our gallbladder, our appendix, our fingers, our eyes, our noise, our brain – they all need the right nutrition to function properly. Nothing in the body gets healthy and stays healthy for long without fixing the gut first, and that includes the brain. If you’re looking for the easiest thing you can do, a little baby-step just to get you started, get the SF722 and Abzorb and some B vitamins. I can’t stress enough how much almost everyone in any modern country could use SF722 to help fix the gut. Get some sunlight or a D vitamin and some good fats. Start squatting every day, just a few to start with and build up daily. And get into some nature, be it walking or gardening or whatever. Another good option would be CBD oil. It’s showing a lot of promise with depression.
