In which you do your best to make your boyfriends first Christmas away from home as special as possible

Warnings?; none really, pure fluff, some kisses and tears, talks of being away from home and missing family, poorly proofread so I apologize for any errors

Day 4 of my ficmas celebration!

“Have a good trip, I love you” You spoke softly against his lips as he gathered his things to exit the car.

“I love you to, call me before you go to bed?.”

“Of course.” You smile, giving him a wave as he looked back before his large frame entered the back of the bell center.

The team were going on a week and half road trip and that gave you the perfect amount of time to turn your and Juraj’s apartment into a winter wonderland.

Christmas was a few weeks away and you had noticed the sadness appear in your boyfriend’s eyes every time one of his teammates spoke about returning home for the holidays.

As a Montréal native you didn’t know how your boyfriend felt to be without his family for the holidays, but you were determined to do your best to make his Christmas feel as special as you could.

After Starbucks, multiple different stores, food, and a pretty dent in your bank account you found your way home. Bags littered the floor of the apartment as you tackled the tree first, doing your best to build the seven foot tree by yourself.

And while you successfully got the tree up yourself, you left the boxes of ornaments around the tree so you and Juraj could decorate it together.

Within the next few days you had made every room in the small apartment look like it came straight from a hallmark movie. And soon you were running to the door when you heard the key in the lock.

Opening the door Juraj was met with the sight of you in plaid pajama pants and white T-shirt, behind you in the living room stood a massive tree that was bright but bald, the mantle was decked with a beautiful garland and two stockings that had your initials on the front.

He could see a knitted blanket draped over the back of the couch; one that looked oddly like one of his mothers, and the mistletoe hanging in the entryway of the kitchen beside him had caught his eye.

“What’s all of this?” He smiled brightly, while he pulled your body into his arms.

“Christmas decorations.” You beamed, eyes searching his as they took in everything around him.

“It looks beautiful-did you get us matching pajamas?” He laughed finally noticing the matching pants in your arm.

“Yes, I know you’re missing being home and how upset you are that you can’t go back for the holidays so I wanted to try and make it as homey as possible.” You blushed when his eyes widened.

He looked down at you but he couldn’t speak, never in all of his years has anyone ever done something like this for him. And after countless years of spending his holidays alone and away from home, this had meant so much for him however he couldn’t make the thank you come out of his mouth.

“I know this is a lot, if you don’t like it we can take it down, I understand i shoul-“ you started but got cut off by the feeling of his lips against yours.

His large hands held your cheeks while his lips moved against yours, the kiss was full of passion and love, telling you everything he wanted to say without even having to speak.

“Thank you, I love it. And I love you.” He whispered, small tears hovering at his waterline.

“I love you to J.” You whispered back, a hand reaching for one of his that still held your face.

“Come on, let’s go decorate the tree and watch some movies. I have your mom’s cookies in the oven.”

“Do you wanna try?” Gwen asked him softly, the newly couple were relaxing in her room while her brother and a few of his friends were watching a football game in the living room. They were relaxing in her bed as they looked through some pictures she had taken and printed out, but she noticed that her boyfriend's gaze kept on moving to her guitar that was propped up prettily on the other side of her room next to her vanity. 

“Can i?” Juraj asked with a hopeful smile, he had seen his girlfriend play her guitar many times and God was it so attractive, he knew it was a strong passion for her, and he wanted to be able to enjoy her passions as well. 

Gwen perked up at the thought of her teaching him how to play and she quickly and carefully placed the pictures in the brown box that was covered in a bunch of stickers and placed it on her side table. Juraj watched her with a smile as she skipped over to her guitar and carefully picked up her black electric guitar. 

“Of course, you just have to be careful with my baby” Gwen smiled as she gently held the neck of her guitar as she walked over to him, careful not to trip over her black and white star fluffy carpet. Juraj quickly took off his hoodie, leaving him in his white shirt and sweats before moving to sit on the edge of her bed, looking up at her with a smirk “I thought i was your baby?” 

“You're my baby boy, but Saide, Saide is my baby girl” Gwen teases as she holds her to her chest, slowly rubbing the neck of her guitar teasingly throwing a wink his way, they both knew what she was doing. Juraj chuckled and reached forward, resting his large hands on her legging clad thighs and pulled her to stand between his legs, tilting his head to look up at her “Should i be jealous?” 

“You are pretty hot when you're jealous” Gwen teased as she looked down at him with her own smirk, brown eyes meeting. Juraj bit his lip and felt his heartbeat faster from being under her gaze, he cleared his throat and turned his attention down to her guitar – oh sorry Sadie, and moved his hands for her to pass her to him.

Gwen noticed the flustered look on his face and decided it was time to stop her teasing before it went further then they both were ready for. She passed him sadie and showed him how to hold her properly, a smile on her lips as he looked up at her with his puppy eyes, ready for her to reach him more. 

“Am I holding it right?” Juraj asked quietly after a few minutes of him just strumming the same cords she taught him. Gwen moved from sitting by his side and moved to sit behind him on her knees, resting her chin on his shoulder as she looked between his hands and his perfect side profile. Gwen has a small frown on her lips as she noticed his trembling hands “Your hands are shaking” 

Juraj’s breath hitched, and he stopped strumming, his hands were in fact shaking, and it was because of her. Having her so close, her chest pressed against his back, every time he took a breath he could smell her perfume, the perfume that drove him crazy. The smile and small giggle she let out every time he made a mistake was not helping him concentrate at all. He really hoped she couldn't hear or feel his very fast heartbeat. 

Gwen watched him with knowing eyes, her gaze falling to his Adam apple as he swallowed hard and cleared his throat. Gwen smirked and moved closer to him, resting her hand on his shoulder while the other rubbed the closest one to her, sending a chill down his spine at the feeling of her black nails scratching softly against his skin. Gwen whispered in his ear ‘Do I make you nervous?” 

“You know you do” He whispered back, his accent strong. Tilting his head to get a better look at her, he’s welcomed by the sight of her big brown eyes looking up at him and the prettiest smirk on her face. He felt goosebumps spread across his neck at the feeling of her warm breaths hitting his skin. 

Gwen let out a small hum of satisfaction from his words, it was nice to hear that she also made him nervous, because she knew it was obvious to him that he also made her nervous. She watched as his eyes dropped to her lips before quickly looking back to her eyes. Her eyes in turn fell to his lips, not looking away as she slowly leaned in. 

Juraj couldn't help but hold his breath and freeze completely under her touch as she moved closer to him, tilting his head more towards her and fluttering his eyes close at the feeling of their lips locking in a soft kiss. It was an awkward position but neither of them cared. Gwen moved her hand from his arm to softly caress his jaw before cupping it, as their lips moved slowly in tandem. 

Juraj’s neck was starting to ache from the position, and he desperately wanted to pull her close and touch her, but he couldn't with Sadie in his lap. So, he reluctantly pulled away from the kiss and stood up from the bed. “Where are you going?” Gwen asked with a pout as she watched him walk to the other side of her room, a blush on her cheeks from the breathtaking kiss. 

“Putting sadie away, wouldn't want your baby girl to get jealous” Juraj teased as he looked back to send her a wink before he gently put the guitar on the stand. He could hear the distant shouts from Cole and their friends in the living room, clearly not happy with how the game was going. Juraj paused at her record player and carefully placed the needle on the outer rim, the sound of the smiths filing her room. 

“You're such an idiot” Gwen laughed happily as she changed her position in bed, now laying on her back, resting her head on her pillows. Juraj chuckled and moved to the bed, laying down on his stomach by her side, looking down at her with a smile. She looked so pretty looking up at him with her pretty brown eyes, her hair all over the place on the pillows. 

Juraj hummed and brought his hand up to softly caress her flushed cheeks, his large hand was bigger than her face. He leaned down and softly kissed the tip of her nose, chuckling when she does that adorable nose scrunch “Mhm but I’m yours” 

Gwen smiled and snuggled closer to him, wanting his warmth. The sweet sound of The Smiths playing in the background made the moment sweeter. She gently took hold of the collar of his shirt and pulled him down for a kiss. He let out a hum of surprise, but he was eager and quick to kiss back. 

Juraj took charge of the kiss, nibbling softly on her bottom lip so she could get the hint to part her lips and that's exactly what she did. Their tongues fought in a battle that turned in his favor too fast, the kiss turned heated, and she felt herself sink deeper into her bed as Juraj moved closer to her. 

Gwen moaned in the kiss and pulled him closer to her, one of her hands cupping his jaw while the other rested on his lower back, one of his hands cupping her jaw while the other was traveling down her side, squeezing her waist softly. Gwen slowly pulled away, both of their eyes fluttering open, a smile on their lips as they locked eyes. She whispered breathlessly against his lips 

“And I'm yours”

You waited for Juraj in the tunnel after their game against the Bruins,they were able to push the game into overtime and bring home the win, the cherry on top was that your boyfriend was the one who scored the winning goal.

You watched the door eagerly until you saw his tall figure walk out,when he locked eyes with you and a great big smile spread across his face. He quickened his pace when he saw you, you smiled at his quicken step’s. His hair was still slightly damp, probably with sweat since he played so hard tonight, he still had the small red line across his forehead from his helmet making you slightly laugh before he dropped his bags on the rink floor in front of you and pulled you into a tight hug.

You giggled as he squeezed you tightly, when he pulled away you took the chance to give him a quick kiss.

“Did you like the game?” he ask his accent quite thick 

“Of course I liked the game baby” You smiled holding the side of his head running your thumb across the red line on his forehead 

You spaced out looking at your boyfriend in awe, you were so proud of him in this moment

“What” he laughed squeezing your hip to get your attention 

“Do you know you're pretty?” You asked 

Juraj eyebrows crossed in confusion he laughed in response as well “Sometimes” He joked 

“You should know all the time” You smiled “Im very proud of you, you did so well today”

He smiled at  your words trying to fight the feeling of blushing away.

“Grab one of your bags, let's go home” You said, grabbing one of his bags and he grabbed the other. 

“Good I am starving!!” he groaned out

an: i know i said i was gonna post sometime next week but I'm sick and procrastinating doing school work so here is a present!! I hope this is what you meant!!

You and Juraj had been laying on the couch all day since it's his day off. He was laying on top of you with his arms around your waist and his head in the crook of your neck.

you had been absentmindedly running on hand through his hair while the other was running down his back, when you had the sudden urge to pee.

"baby," you whispered lightly in his ear. once you hear him lightly hum a response, you say "honey I need to pee, can you move?" Juraj answers with a simple "no" and just tightens his hold around you.

"J I really gotta pee," you answer while softly laughing. Juraj tends to get clingy when he's tired and it's pretty clear he has zero intentions of letting you go.

Juraj doesn't say anything and just continues to hold onto you. "Baby I'll be right back." He still doesn't move and just snuggles into you more. "Juraj can you please let me pee?" you ask him while softly trying to push him off you. "I would but then I'd have to get up" he replies in a deep voice. "Yeah well you're gonna need to get up if i piss myself and pee all over the couch babe," you say sarcastically.

Juraj sighs and finally decides to get up and let you pee. you stand up and go on your toes to give him a quick kiss on the lips before walking off to the bathroom.

After doing your business and washing your hands, you walk back to the couch and see Juraj has taken off his shirt and was laying on his back on the couch, scrolling through his phone. You quietly stared at his abs a bit before shaking your head and walking over to him.

"Like what you see sweetheart?" he asks you with a smirk on his face. "Shut up" you laugh and lay down onto him, his arms immediately wrapping around you.

"You know it's still pretty early, I have a few things in mind to pass the time a bit" Juraj whispers into your ear. You perk your head up and smirk at him before jumping off the couch and start walking backwards towards your bedroom.

Juraj gets up and follows you to the room and closes the door behind you. Let's just say your legs were very sore the next morning.

being nineteen living in new york city is a scary thing for any teenager. if you could even still call yourself that, but you got by.

instead of going the route that most of your friends did, attending the university of michigan, joining a sorority, and marrying a retired frat guy; you did the complete opposite.

you skipped college and moved to nyc to be a model. it had been going very well for you, seeing as your face was all over times square and you began to become the newest it girl, and you thankfully made enough to pay for your high rise apartment and live a luxaric life that you've always dreamed about.

so why on earth would you be standing in montreal on a tuesday night?

your boyfriend would be the cause of that. he lived in montreal and a love began to grow for the city seeing as its the place you've fallen in love with him.

is it too soon to say that? im sorry, but it's no doubt love; the feelings you've felt.

he was the most perfect boyfriend, treating you like a princess and you couldn't be happier.

you were currently standing at the airport searching for his tall frame. being a long distance couple is not easy but you two made it work. seeing as during the season he's basically glued to montreal, it was up to you to come and see him in the beautiful city, which is why you were here now.

"im outside gate forty six" his thick accent came through the phone. his accent was something that could turn your face red, in a millisecond.

"no your not. im standing directly under it" you said searching for him.

"turn around" you heard his voice come from behind you.

and behold and beyond there stood your boyfriend, standing there in all his glory smiling ear to ear and your excitement to see him, flooded in.

you squealed so loud and dropped your bag to run up to him and hug him. one thing you liked about juraj was his height and the fact you were still able to be shorter than him being 5'11 and all.

"how was your flight" he said giving you a sweet kiss, before picking up your bags and still managing to hold your hand through the crowd of people.

"it was okay, im a little jet lagged though" you said as you saw his car.

"have you eaten yet?, I made us dinner at home" he said opening your door for you.

he knew you hadn't been eating. you had been so wrapped up in growing your name, this was the first break you had in months and juraj was quick to see that. he really worried for you and you've never had someone other than your parents care like that. if he kept up with all this shit, you were going to marry him.

"no, im sorry" you said looking down, as you got in. you felt bad how much he spent worrying for you and you still not eating anything past nine thirty pm was not going to eaze his worries.

"dont apoligize, i got you know" your heart beated at his words.

"I literally love you juraj slafkovsky" you said as he got into the drivers side.

"you literally?" he teased.

"stop it!' you said smiling. you knew already what he was about to tease you about.

"you are so american pretty"

you and juraj were at a bar with his teammates and you were feeling tipsy early on to the night. he was wearing a fit that had you in shambles. god he looked handsome. you were sitting on his lap leaning your face into the crook of his neck.

"Y/N!!!" you heard cole yell over the loud music. you lifted your head from jurajs soft neck to see his teammate, happy to see you in montreal.

"hi cole" you giggled at his excitement.

"sing 22 with me. I just put it into the karaoke machine."

"oh my gosh! yes!!" you said standing up from juraj. right away realizing you were way to drunk to stand, and losing balance.

"woah," juraj said grabbing a hold of your hips and helping you stand straight.

"okay, i think its time to head home" he says smiling at her, holding her up.

"but cole-"

"but she-

"we'll see you tomorrow cole" juraj said cutting both cole and his girlfriend off.

"okay then" cole said looking like a kicked puppy and waving goodbye to you.

"what are you trying to take me home so fast for? hmm" you said to your boyfriend seductively grabbing the collar of his shirt.

"to get you in bed pretty" he said walking you out. you blushed right away thinking the other thing and loved how forward he was being right now even though he meant far from that.

you guys arrive to jurajs apartment and all you wanted was your boyfriend.

he opened the door and you didnt waste time to attach your lips to his and push him against the door. his hands still on holding your hips from walking you in, squeezed your sides as he pulled away.

"what are you doing baby" he said giggling at your forwardness.

"I want you. now." you said to him attaching your lips to his sweet spot on his neck.

you knew his weaknesses and even though it hurt him to push you away, you were drunk.

"we cant pretty, your drunk"

"no im not" you said as he guided you to his room.

"yes you are. come on lets get these cloths off"

"sex time?" you said, face lighting up taking off your top.

"no. sleep time" he said helping you pull your boots off.

you groaned and threw yourself starfish back onto his bed.

"come here" he said pulling you up and putting his hoodie over your frame. he put some boxers on you and reached into his drawer for you that had some makeup wipes as you starred at him.

"im sobering up" you said to him as he wiped your makeup off.

"y/n" he said pointly.

you rolled your eyes as you laid back onto the bed watching him begin to change.

"you look pretty in my cloths" he said smiling at how big his hoodie fit you.

"you think I look pretty in everything" you said rolling your eyes at your boyfriends cheesiness.

"so, you are pretty" he said pulling the covers over the both of you and wrapping his arm around you as you cuddled into him.

you traced a finger over his features, seeing as it always helped him fall asleep.

"your pretty" you whispered to him, giggling.

"im pretty?" he said lightly smiling, eyes still close.

"mhm" you said to him.

"goodnight baby. I love you" he said after a while.

"I love you. goodnight" you answered feeling, restless. how were you supposed to sleep when he's with you? and you loved sleeping. you sucked it up, and decided to make sure to be completely sober for tomorrow.

you were currently hitting the hottest nyc bars with your best friends, after being dragged out against your will by them and you just wanted to be home in bed. you couldn't believe you used to love going out.

"come on y/n!" your friend yelled over the loud music pulling you along.

you were miserable.

you sat on the booth, when a guy came up to sit next to you.

"hey, im Logan" the man said to you, probably hoping to go home with you tonight.

"y/n" you said uninterested looking around hoping to find somewhere to go off too.

"you like-" he was cutoff by the next song and you couldn't help but think about juraj.

"my boyfriend likes this song!" you said to the guy.

"you have a boyfriend?" he said standing up.

"yeah, it was nice meeting you" you said walking away.

you saw your friend with her newest eye candy and you walked up to them.

"y/n! this is... omg I already forgot. but he said he plays hockey!"

"uhm no, I said I liked it"

"its okay. I know your secret" she said whispering and pushing herself right after.

"what's your favorite team?" you said hoping the conversation would bring up juraj. its like you couldn't go a conversation without talking about him.

"the maple leafs"

"he a montreal fan or what"' the guy said with his arm still around your best friend.

"are you talking about juraj again!?!" a voice comes from behind you.

you were currently at a photoshoot for the cover of times magazine when you got a FaceTime call coming from your boyfriend.

"hi" you said answering.'

"hello, how is the shoot going"

"really good! we're doing the last outfit, and im so happy because im spent" you said exhaustedly.

"dont tire yourself too much" he said seeing her eye bags hiding under the makeup she was wearing.

"I won't, anyways what happened?" you knew he wanted to ask you something because he knew not to interrupt your shoot time.

"my mom wants to know if you would join us for christmas, and im looking at tickets rights now, did you want to join us?" he said with a hopeful look.

you wanted to squeal. he was taking you home to his native land, and for some reason that felt so sacred to you. doesn't this man know that you would go anywhere he goes?

"that sounds like fun, I'd think l'd enjoy that" you said smiling at him. he let out what seemed to be a breath he'd been holding.

You woke up to the feeling of soft kisses being scattered along your cotton covered shoulder, strands of dark brunette hair tickling your jaw.

“Morning” you smiled down at the large boy tucked under your arm.

Juraj perked his head up at the sound of your soft voice, a bright smile overtaking the boys face as he leaned up to place a small peck to your lips.

“Good Morning.” He breathed resting his chin on your chest.

“What are the plans for today?” You question softly, hands working into his soft locks.

His eyes fluttered shut for a moment at the relaxing sensation of your nails lightly scratching his scalp.

“Sleep, coffee, couch, movies, food.” He answered after a moment.

“Sounds good to me.” You giggled.

The habs finally had an off day after two back to back games with a practice and another game earlier in the week and you knew your boyfriend needed a day of nothing but rest.

He’d been working his ass off and while it’s been paying off and he’s doing amazing things he still needs a day of relaxation in order to keep his young body from burning out.

Looking over at the digital clock on your nightstand you laughed realizing it was seven in the morning but you couldn’t blame Juraj for being up this early, the jet lag got ahold of him as soon as he laid in the bed last night.

“What time do you want to get back up?” You asked softly.

“Whenever we feel like it.” He chuckled softly and you nodded in agreement before placing a kiss to his head and snuggling into your pillow while Juraj resumed his position under your arm allowing himself to be the little spoon for once.

When you two do finally emerge from the comfort and warmth of your bed it’s just passing ten in the morning.

You both share a quick shower before getting dressed and heading to your favorite coffee shop. Snow had fallen overnight leaving a soft blanket on the streets of Montreal.

You two make small talk about his trip and how he enjoyed his multi point roadtrip, he blushed as your praised his achievements telling you it wasn’t a big deal but deep down you knew he was enjoying the praise.

Juraj parked in front of the coffee shop before making his way around to your door and opening it for you.

“Thank you kind sir.” You laughed as you step out.

“It’s no problem, I always look out for the clumsy.” He smirked as you let out a scoff and smacked his shoulder.

“I am not clumsy!”

“Coles ring camera says differently.” He giggled and you couldn’t argue with that one.

A few weeks ago everyone had gathered at Cole’s new house for dinner and the boy had told everyone to watch the patch of ice on his walkway but somehow even after trying to avoid it, you still slipped.

He took your hand as he lead you towards the door, opening it for you he followed after you stepping into the smell of fresh coffee and baked sweets.

“Do you want your usual?” He asked as you two stepped into the small line.

“Yes please.” You smiled up at him.

He gave you a soft nod before dipping down and capturing your lips in a short kiss, Juraj wasn’t big on pda but after being away for a week he missed you and he didn’t really care who saw him showing his favorite person a bit of love.

Once you two reached the counter the barista smiled brightly as she recognized you two instantly.

“Hi guys! Do you want your usual today?”

“Yes please.” Juraj smiled politely.

“Okay! That’ll be $14.07, you can swipe whenever you’re ready.” She smiled and you watched as Juraj paid knowing there was absolutely no point in trying to make him let you.

You slid two bills into the tip jar before making your way to the small waiting area, Juraj wrapped a strong arm around your shoulder as he pulled you close to his side.

“We need to finish that movie we started before you left for your road trip.” You reminded him.

“Oh yeah, we have to find some others to watch too because I plan on being on that couch for the rest of the day.” He laughed.

“Deal, what about that new horror one you wanted to see?” You asked.

“Sounds good to me.” He smiled softly, his attention pulled away from you as the barista called out your names and placed the cups on the counter.

“Thank you!” You smiled at her as you both collected your drinks and headed back to the car.

For the next few hours you two were wrapped up in blankets while you rested on your large sectional, your back to Juraj’s chest while he rested against the soft cushions of the couch.

You had eaten things that Juraj should’ve been staying clear from due to his strict diet but he didn’t care in the moment, he was allowed a cheat day every now and then.

You’d ran through all the new movies you two had been desperate to watch, a horror, some comedy and others dramas.

After a nice filling dinner you were back in your spot against him but this time your head was rested against his chest while his fingers raked through your hair and his nails scratched along your back under your shirt.

“Today has been nice.” You spoke softly.

“It has, thank you for everything today.”

“You don’t have to thank me J, I love spending time with you.” You smiled up at him.

“I know but some people wouldn’t do this for their partner, you didn’t have to lay around with me all day and do nothing but you did. So thank you and I love you.” He smiled.

“I love you more baby.” You giggled as you pushed yourself up to press your lips against his.

It was soft and full of passion, showing him how much he actually did mean to you without having to try and explain it in words which you struggled with.

Pulling away he gave you one more peck on the lips before settling back and stroking your cheek with his large thumb.

He could see the sleep clouding your eyes, the way they kept drooping had his heart warming, despite it being barely seven he pulled you close and wrapped your favorite blanket around you.

“Go to sleep love, I’ll be here when you wake up.” He spoke as he began to stroke your hair.

“Okay.” You breathed as you snuggled into him.

You loved hockey and loved watching Juraj live out his dream with amazing teammates and an amazing organization but there was nothing better then days like this, the days where you could spend the entirety loving on him and allowing his body to get the rest he needed.

Nothing would ever top the easy days.

ᡣ𐭩 BASICS !

how did they meet?  they met in 2022 when juraj first moved to Montreal, her brother and a few of their teammates were going to take juraj out for the day and show him around, they invited her as well and she decided to tag along, also wanting to meet him. They all met for lunch and then showed him around the city before going to this really cool bowling alley/bar, where they played for a few hours, also eating there.  (2022)

their first impressions?  

juraj was already nervous to meet her when arber told him that she would be coming along, but his first thought about her before they met was that she had a beautiful name. But when he met her his first thoughts was that she had an even prettier laugh as she giggled when he struggled to pronounce her name at first ‘you can just call me gwen’ he had also found her to be quite intimidating, which was ridiculous because he towered over her, but still, she was just so pretty and calm . . . he didn't know what to do with himself. He found it hard to talk with her because of his nerves, she was just so pretty. 

Gwen’s first impression of juraj was ‘wow he's tell’ as he stood up to greet her and cole and then it changed to ‘wow he's so cute’ as she listened to him struggle to pronounce her name, a lot of inner monologue of her freaking out about his accent and smile. He was very shy and polite towards her and Gwen found that adorable, but she was a little disappointed as the night went on. Juraj seemed to be a lot more comfortable and talkative with the others while he was still nervous and shy around her, she hoped that she didn't make him uncomfortable in any way. 

first date?   Juraj was the one to ask her out on a date, he was out on a jog and stopped to catch his breath in front of an older cinema that he saw was screening the first scream, aka one of Gwen's all time favorite movies. He took that as a sign to finally man up and ask her out on a date and thankfully she said yes. It was his first time going to the cinema in Canada and the first time seeing the movie so they got a whole bunch of different candies/popcorn for him to try. After the movie they went to a pizza plaza for dinner where they talked about the movie and almost everything else. 

who confessed their feelings first?   

juraj realized his feelings were very strong for her during their first date, he was sitting across gwen with a small smile on his lips as he watched and listened (like a lovesick puppy) to her ramble about the movie they just watched, seeing her so passionate and carefree, but despite the fact that juraj realized his feelings first, gwen was the one to confess first. 

gwen quickly realized her feelings for him as she laid in her bed the night of the date, she couldn't sleep and all she could think about was him and he made her feel. Her last relationship ended horribly so the idea of her liking someone else scared her, so she decided to try her best to avoid him . . . which is not so easy because they work together and see each other almost every single day. Juraj who noticed Gwen's avoidance towards him distanced himself as well, thinking that he did something wrong and that she didn't enjoy the date, it really hurt for him to think that. 

a few of there close friends that knew about them were tired of them avoiding each other decide to do a little scheming, while they were all at the rink, everyone was getting ready to leave so kaiden asked juraj to bring a few things to a supply closet while arber asked gwen to get a few things from the said closet, they both of course said yes. When the two schemers noticed them both going into the closet they locked it from the outside, forcing them to finally talk. Juraj asked her why she was avoiding him and she couldn't hold it in anymore as she looked up into his sad eyes, confessing her feelings for him right on the spot. Juraj of course told her he felt the same way. They both agreed to take it slow and go on a second date. 

first kiss?  their first kiss happened during their second date, a few days after they confessed their feelings for each other. They had planned to go to this new cafe but the weather changed drastically. Juraj didn't want to leave her alone at the apartment (cole at a friend's house) during a thunderstorm so they decided to have their date inside instead. They were cuddled up on the couch watching stranger things and sharing a tub of ice cream. Gwen had looked up at him when she felt his stare on her, she went to ask him if he was okay but her words got caught in her throat at the look he was giving her. They both were leaning in and before they knew it their lips were touching, the soft kiss didn't last longer than a few seconds. But the kiss they shared moments after the first lasted way longer, the ice cream and show long forgotten. 

who asked who?  juraj was the one to ask her to be his girlfriend, they were laying in her bed watching an old slovak movie he had mentioned watching a lot as a child. She had surprised him with the movie and some of his favorite snacks for their night in. He laid there with her in his arm and he watched as she read the subtitles of the movie she went out of her way to surprise him with, all he wanted was to be hers and her to be his. His words were moving before his mind was comprehending what he was doing, he sounded nervous and unsure when he first asked. Gwen who was so into reading the subtitles that she didn't hear what he said so she just hummed in confusion asking him to repeat what he said. Juraj let out a heavy breath before asking her again, this time much more confident. His confidence worked because Gwen was smiling and placing soft kisses on his cheek as she said yes. 

first I love you?   gwen was the one who said I love you first, she was nervous and scared that she felt so strongly for him even though they haven't been dating for long. But she had a long conversation with her best friend Luke who helped her realize that she should tell Juraj how she feels. So she went to his place and confessed her love for him as they sat on his bed. Juraj was shocked but he was happy because he felt the same way.

family + friends: besides the people who knew from the beginning, their closest friends and cole. Everyone else found out when they posted each other on their private instagrams for valentines day, they also went on a trip by themselves to celebrate valentines day. 

the public: the public found out when a video of them kissing while on a date went viral, someone had filmed them without them knowing and posted it. they were forced to confirm it since it was so public.

AN-Oh my God I'm so sorry that I've been dead for the past couple months I had a lot of work to do with exams I just moved and got a new job I have over 50 requests so I'll be hacking at them 

Anytime you and Juraj went out with some of his team member’s he always had a hand on you exactly when a big group of you went out together. Juraj was tall and had a strong presence when he entered a room but it was easy to lose you since your size was different from his.

The team always made jokes about losing Cole in the crowd and he didn't want that to happen to you. Sure he knows you can handle yourself but he had a tendency to worry about you.

When you both walked into the club Juraj had his hand on you as soon as you walked through the door, helping guide you through the crowded club. But when he felt you slip from his grasp he stopped in his trax causing Aber to bump into him from behind. Juraj turned his head to try and find you, when he did he saw you got stuck behind some group of people. He held out his hand to help you get through the sea of people.

When you made your way back to your boyfriend he moved you so you were in front of him now. Holding your waist walking you threw the crowd to the teams booth. When you both sat down Juraj’s hand still didnt leave you, just moved so it laid across your shoulder, his finger’s running over your skin softly. 

You all talked for a little while but you really couldn't focus with Juraj fingers tracing your shoulder. You turned to look up at him. He was still talking with the guys but you couldn't help but smile. You always loved that Juraj always had his hands on you, not even in a sexual way. You loved that even when it looked like he didn't have his focus on you, he always had you in his reach.

He could feel your eye’s on him, he moved his head down towards your ear so you could hear him over the music. You blushed at the move 

“You doin ok?” he asked not moving his head away

“Yea im great, I was going to go get a drink” you stated

“All go with ya” He said moving his head away

You smiled as you made your way out of the booth, you could hear Juraj tell the team that you two would be back soon. You walked in front of him towards the bar, you felt him grab your waist to keep you close. When you both made it to the bar he moved to sit beside you one arm still laced across your wait. After you ordered you turned to face your boyfriend noticing he was a lot closer to you now. His hand placed softly on your hip as he leaned on the bar counter.

“Thank you for coming today” He yelled over the crowd

“Of course!” you beamed “I love the team their very nice”

i typically read fluff and i would love a best friends to lovers fic with as much yearning as you can come up with !

up to you! i’m leaning more towards not wanting a theme but again, if you have an idea and want to run with it i totally trust you!!

I’m open to most things!! i don’t love pregnancy tropes and i’m not a big family person so do with that what you will lol

i love comfort fics!! it definitely doesn’t have to be a comfort fic but i basically just love anything that is sweet and romantic and beautiful and cute and so on lol i adore whenever i can just squeal and freak out and enjoy a good love story lol i’m also a big rom com watcher! oh i’m also a teacher and i feel like that explains a lot of my personalities and likes so

oh yes. this was my first xhekovsky fic and i fucking love it lmao. it was so much fun to write and also @donttelltheelff helped me with it so that made it extra fun. idk i also just enjoyed the like, not quite edging but the teasing of them almost getting time to be alone together but things keep coming up. but they do, eventually, get their alone time in the second chapter lmao.

i love me some crack mixed with more serious stuff, and this has pretty much everything - crack/fun, smut, and fluff. i also just find the idea (shoutout to @may-the-puck-be-with-you) to be hilarious - timmy seducing brady with crocs lmfao.

i am a sucker for angst. writing and reading, and i also like how i was able to have various hab players in it, not just slaf and arber. and it was fun to play with the jordy/arber roommate thing a bit!!

i liked the idea i had for it (4 times auston heard mitch through the walls + 1 time he joined him) and it was fun to write for the most part, but idk reading it now i'm not super proud of the way it was written ig, or i feel like i should've added more maybe

this originally went down a different path and was going to be pretty angsty, but i changed the second half of it and while i do like how it turned out and i liked writing it etc etc part of me still wishes i had finished the angst part. but i did save the angst i'd written so i'll probably write a different fic around it

this fic. this 12k fic. this is one of my favourite fics i've written. it was very self indulgent and i 1000% projected onto brady so that in and of itself was therapeutic lol. but i'm also just really proud of how i wrote the emotions and how i conveyed everything. and how i was able to write so much!! it's the longest fic i've written to date
