Nodal Return
Tumblr media
14 May 2003
Super unsurprisingly, my north node is in the ninth house of philosophy. This was a time when I was really worried about faith - I was in the process of leaving Christianity. Lilith conjunct midheaven in Taurus is fun - I was creating really weird obscure fiction and things.
Tumblr media
23 November 2004
Moon conjunct the sun in the 2nd house - I generally take my second house to be about moral values, so this seems strong
Pluto is still conjunct Uranus - which is an appropriate conjuncton for a time when I was getting deeply into the occult. By this stage I was working in a Buddhist shop, out of school, out of Christianity.
Tumblr media
19 June 2006
The North Node leaves nodal return in the fifth house of pleasure, at a time when I'm drinking more than I should. A little while after this I kind of stop taking magic so seriously, I also start smoking.
The north node is conjunct natal Uranus in the 11th house - I feel like I've found my tribe.
The Pluto-Uranus conjunction will remain a factor in my fact until 2010, by which time I've cut my hair, I'm taking a Library MA and I'm trying hard not to think about the occult or act unusual in any way.
Tumblr media
6 September 2012
I got my first professional job in a university 2011 and by 2012 I was coming up to my first Fresher's period. I was doing well and getting the hang of the pace of professional life. My nodal reverse begins with my north node in the 10th house and a lot of activity in the 4th house - Natal Venus conjunct IC, south node conjunct Lilith, Venus in the 7th house conjunct my natal descendant. It was an intense time in my home life - the era when I cried every weekend
Tumblr media
1 November 2013
A key date for me - I did NaNoWriMo. It was the first time in years that I had done something for me. I made friends and started to feel like myself again. Mercury, the Sun, and North Node conjunct in the 3rd house is pretty telling of a key writing experience
Tumblr media
21 March 2014
North node exact over the south node. I was starting to write a lot more - Neptune in the 3rd house trine Pluto and sextile natal Neptune. North Node in the 11th House - I was finding my people again.
Tumblr media
10 October 2015
The South Node time was a time of having friends for the first time in a while, and a kind of sense of self. I wasn't just writing, I was creating something other people could enjoy. I was making friends based on writing and roleplaying. At this stage, I'm planning to move away. Mercury is conjunct my north node moving into virgo in the 5th house as I start to write a ridiculously mathematical story that's the first thing I wrote to go down really well.
Tumblr media
22 December 2021
Start of my second nodal return - I had a new job and a chaotic time in my life was finally over. Pluto squares the nodes for the first half of my nodal transit - Pluto was a big part of my last transit and this is a time to struggle with lessons not completely learned in the last nodal return.
My second nodal return started with Pluto and Venus conjunct my ascendant. A time for a bit of beauty and cam. And the North Node in the 6th house conjunct my IC. After a difficult year, this was the start of a quiet, enjoyable, Christmas holiday.
Tumblr media
6 July 2023
My North node return in a few months off and will happen in the 1st house with Jupiter and Uranus also in the first house.
My ascendent will be conjunct my natal sun in the 2nd house and there's a nice triangle between the ascendent, my natal Uranus (at the 9th house), and Venus in the 5th house. It could be an interesting time to reconnect with the more emotional and subconscious elements of my life.
Tumblr media
29 January 2025
End of the nodal return. The North Node leaves Aries in the 5th House, near to Neptune and Venus. Pluto, the Moon and Mercury conjunct in the 3rd house in Aquarius close by the ascendant makes me think this could be a good time to communicate about dreams, the occult and the subconscious. I guess we'll have to see.
I am not good at astrology yet. There's a lot I could focus on that I haven't. I think what this gives me is a mission to reconnect with the good things about my life in my last nodal return - art, caring about my surroundings, having a very strong spiritual side

What To Expect During the Mercury Retrograde 2021
Tumblr media
Yes, it is that time again, the infamous Mercury retrograde. Yet, the unusual paths we take and the unexpected twists in life are important to pay attention to, since they give awareness to necessary karmic lessons. It is important to understand that we need these periods in order to maintain balance in our lives. The Mercury retrogrades are known for bringing experiences of leaving one state to enter a new one, and in 2021, this retrograde will be bringing us great change. This retrograde will help us adjust to the great change and volatility in the societal system that will come from Saturn and Jupiter beginning a new cycle together, while Saturn additionally forms three square aspects with Uranus. Although Mercury retrograde has been demonized by many, it is in fact a natural phase of dissolution, purification, and regeneration that is essential to the function of Mercury. Part of Mercury’s role is to destabilize dynamics in order to loosen control and bring about a turning point in narrative and meaning. While in retrograde, Mercury transitions from being visible into an invisible phase during which it comes closest to earth in orbit, intensifying its impact on our lives. The backward motion of Mercury calls upon us to reflect upon ourselves as human beings. This the time to shed what is no longer needed, be that people, an unhealthy lifestyle, a job or house change, etc.
Think of the Death Major Arcana tarot card. It isn’t about physical death, but metaphorical death and change. The phrase “no mud, no louts” comes into play when Mercury is in retrograde, meaning that without the hard times and endings, there can be no birth and opportunity. This hope and positivity will be needed during the fundamental restructuring of societal systems that will take place in 2021. Mercury usually goes through three retrograde phases each year in the same element, and during 2021, Mercury will be retrograde in the air signs of Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra.
So, how is Mercury affected by air signs? Mercury has an affinity with the element of air, as it shares qualities with this element such as mobility, flexibility, and versatility. This means, changing our use of technology and reformulating the way we gather ideas and communicate information so that we stay current with the major changes across global society. Censoring and shadowbanning will be an issue, but without this retrograde, we wouldn’t see the problem, thus we will let it go unnoticed. No mud, no lotus. Since the air element accelerates movement, there will be rapidly developing trends and collective movements we will need to adjust to and understand. We will also need to become more effective in applying critical thinking skills toward the information we receive from external sources, and so we can utilize the periods of Mercury retrograde for realizing what needs to change in our thinking and problem solving. You need to understand who funds the information sources you are looking at, and you need to do your own research and critical thinking on every single aspect of information, or you may be following something blindly based on emotion, especially during the Mercury retrograde.
Mercury being retrograde in each of the air signs is especially significant due to 2021 being the beginning of a new era of Jupiter and Saturn uniting in only air signs that will last until 2159. Wow, that’s a long time. Well, sometimes great change in human evolution and understanding needs time… As part of the transition, we will experience three exact square aspects between Saturn in Aquarius with Uranus in Taurus that will correspond with upheaval in societal structures as we adapt to an old era passing away. Things will not be returning to the way they were before 2020, and so we will need to develop stabilizing forms while the world around us goes through radical change. We may think things will “go back to normal” but astrology and current world events tell us that we will not have anything close to “normal”.
The first two exact square aspects between Saturn and Uranus on February 17 and June 14 will occur while Mercury is retrograde in Aquarius and Gemini, and so our experience of Mercury retrograde in 2021 will be pivotal in how we reorient our perception and mindset to align with the fundamental reshaping of global systems that will be taking place in correspondence. Globally, things are going to get… interesting to say the least. With numerous wars being started as we speak, and the United States being flooded with military, we are going to be in for a bumpy ride as WW3 starts looking more and more possible. You can tell something is going on if you look up, there are a lot of UFOS flying around. Check out MUFON for UFO picture submissions. I am putting this gently, but I need to tell you the truth of what is happening, or I feel like a bad sugar coating astrologer. Scared? Don’t be. This needs to happen if we want to evolve into a higher and more open minded dimension. Accept what is happening, work with it, and make it so that you will prosper and tell your children, and your children’s children what you have gone through to make their world a better place. So, how are the signs affected?
🌎Earth Signs: ♉️ ♍️ ♑️ Sorry, earth signs, things are going to be rocky for you. There is a lack of common ground between air and earth signs. Earth signs are prone to routines that bring stability and grounding, while air signs are much more about movement and changing perspectives. The three Mercury retrograde periods will bring critical information regarding major changes you need to make with your work, schedules, and finances that will require openness to being more flexible and versatile. You won’t be able to stay in your comfort zone of the way things have been in the past.
🔥Fire Signs: ♌️ ♈️ ♐️ Fire signs share an active quality with the element of air that is comfortable with an acceleration of events, which will be helpful in moving with the sweeping changes across society. You will need to be open to changing your mind and listening to new perspectives with Mercury retrograde in air signs. It will be important to seek out different information sources and people who think differently from you so you can gather a wider perspective on events in your decision making. Don’t rely on one person or one source or one social media platform. Look at ALL sources and make up YOUR mind instead of someone making up your mind for you. Being open to new viewpoints will also lead to important developments in your relationships and expanding your community.
🌊Water Signs: ♋️ ♏️ ♓️ While water and air signs are similar in being open to new ideas and influences, the tendency of water signs for being receptive and slowing things down will need to be adapted to the more active and accelerated quality of the air element. You will need to find outlets for processing your feelings and making space to explore how your inner world is being impacted by the great changes happening in external events. Yet you will also need to take a more active role in decision making so that you are not being too passive amidst the larger shifts in society taking place.
🌬Air Signs: ♊️ ♎️ ♒️ These changes are not going to be as hard for you to handle than the other signs, since you can go wherever the wind takes you.

Lunar Phases
Saturday, October 2, 23:35 UT - Balsamic Moon, 24:59 Leo
Wednesday, October 6, 11:05 UT - New Moon, 13:25 Libra
Damn, this one is intense, especially for Libra. Mars is at 13:59 Libra, making it "partile conjunct" (same degree) the lunation. It's all exactly inconjunct Uranus Rx/Taurus - the two Venus-ruled signs represented - and adding more inconjuncts, to Pallas Athene Rx and Nessus Rx in Pisces (Venus' exaltation!), we have ourselves a tight little Yod, or "finger of God," aspect pattern. Whatever it is we have to do to restore balance, let's do that.
Saturday, October 9, 18:08 UT - Crescent Moon, 1:40 Sagittarius
Wednesday, October 13, 03:25 UT - First Quarter Moon, 20:01 Capricorn
Saturday, October 16, 18:05 UT - Gibbous Moon, 8:35 Pisces
Wednesday, October 20, 14:57 UT - Full Moon, 27"26 Aries
Sunday, October 24, 17:32 UT - Disseminating Moon, 16:31 Gemini
Thursday, October 28, 20:05 UT - Last Quarter Moon, 5:37 Leo
Retrograde / Direct / Etc.
Four planets station direct in October: Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter, and Mercury. We'll have a lot of fresh energy to direct toward our goals.
Mercury begins the month retrograde. Its Inferior Conjunction with the Sun (basically "resetting" our Mercuries) is on Saturday, October 9. Mercury stations direct on Monday, October 18 (about 10 hours after Jupiter stations direct!); exits its "Storm" on Saturday, October 23; and experiences its greatest western elongation on Monday, October 25. It remains in its post-retrograde shadow until November.
Venus has her greatest eastern elongation (the furthest ahead of the Sun she'll get, pre-retrograde zone) on Friday, October 29. This is like a "last quarter" lunar phase; we need to turn away from our outgrown Venus-type pursuits. Venus enters her pre-retrograde shadow in November.
Ceres/Gemini starts the month in her pre-retrograde shadow, and stations retrograde on Friday, October 8.
Pallas Athene/Pisces is retrograde all month.
Juno/Sagittarius is in her post-retrograde shadow until Wednesday, October 27, when she completely exits this retrograde zone.
Jupiter/Aquarius starts the month retrograde; it stations direct on Monday, October 18 - about 10 hours before Mercury stations direct! It remains in its post-retrograde shadow until 2022.
Saturn/Aquarius starts the month retrograde and stations direct on Monday, October 11; it remains in its post-retrograde shadow until 2022.
Chiron/Aries is retrograde all month.
Uranus/Taurus is retrograde all month.
Neptune/Pisces is retrograde all month.
Pluto/Capricorn starts the month retrograde; it stations direct on Wednesday, October 6.
Eris/Aries is retrograde all month.
Ingresses
Thursday, October 7 - transiting Venus enters Sagittarius
Saturday, October 23 - transiting Sun enters Scorpio
Saturday, October 30 - transiting Mars enters Scorpio
Opportunity Periods
Monday, October 4, 21:48 UT - Tuesday, October 5, 08:46 UT. "A good time to do repairs, finish projects, and reconnect with people from the past."
Saturday, October 9, 03:04 UT - 06:05 UT. "Short window of opportunity for deep thinking and renovation."
Monday, October 11, 02:17 UT - 17:15 UT. "With Mercury retrograde, this very positive OP offers an ideal time for renewal."
Friday, October 15, 07:58 UT - 12:33 UT. "An excellent time for reaching out to important people, but with Mercury retrograde be sure to double-check everything."
Friday, October 22, 16:32 UT - Saturday, October 23, 07:57 UT. "Keep a steady pace during this productive OP."
Monday, October 24, 04:14 UT - 14:11 UT. "Very good time for communication and socializing as Mercury picks up speed."

December Horoscopes: Game Changer
We have made it to the last round of 2020, a time to put everything that was learned to the test because Saturn is about to exit Capricorn and enter its two year transit in the sign of Aquarius. For many of us, 2020 has been a tough year and we have been put through trials with all of these transits. Now as we get closer to the end, we are deep into eclipse season in the signs of Gemini and Sagittarius, the beginning of more eclipses to come with this Mutable duo. The month begins with the Lunar Eclipse in Gemini from November 30th, impacting us for the next several weeks (or months). The Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on the 14th will have us all wanting to pursue some spiritual topics. We will be in touch with our higher mind and be motivated to learn. Sagittarius is the teacher for some and philosopher to others. It can be a jester at heart, but it is a sign that is inclined to pursue the realm of philosophy. Expect a month of reflection, even when Venus enters Sagittarius on the 15th. What we value will be analyzed as well as how we view our own self-worth. On the 17th, Saturn leaves Capricorn and begins its reign in Aquarius. Cardinal signs will rejoice while Fixed signs prepare. Things get slightly more interesting when Jupiter enters Aquarius on the 19th and both planets will conjoin on the 21st. This conjunction is a transit filled with growth, optimism, and enthusiasm for succeeding; an excellent energy needed to enter the year 2021. The Sun enters Capricorn on the 21st as well, giving a serious tone to the end of the month. Everything will close out with the Full Moon in Cancer on the 29th. It will be an intense period, but it is appropriate to have the peaceful, nurturing and caring energy of the Moon in Cancer ready to bid adieu to this intense and challenging 2020.
Aries – As a Cardinal sign, you are most likely excited that we have made it this far. With Mercury moving into Sagittarius on December 1st, you are ready to let the world know just how you feel and with the energy of the Full Moon in Gemini still in play, there is no biting of the tongue for you. Remember not to be too blunt, even if you are in the right. This month is about patience. The Empress appears in your reading for the month, reminder to not be afraid to tap into that divine feminine energy that you might have neglected. This is a period of healing and devoting time to forgive yourself. The Solar Eclipse on the 14th in Sagittarius will leave you feeling quite inspired to pursue your goals and dreams. As a fellow fire sign, you resonate with the lessons here as you set off to plan what new things you feel like learning for the upcoming new year. Venus enters Sagittarius on the 15th, making you fall in love with ideas, education, and new philosophies. This is a spiritual energy that is all about bringing the peace with hints of optimism. On the 17th, Saturn leaves Capricorn and enters Aquarius, alleviating those tough times for you as you can now focus on transforming your personal connections and friendships for the next several years. Jupiter will also be changing signs on the 19th, allowing an easier flow when it comes to your view and general outlook. Finally, a major event will be the Full Moon in Cancer on the 29th. This is a time to meditate, focus on what is to come and bringing more harmony to the home. That Empress energy will follow you through the New Year.
Taurus – December will have you reflecting and analyzing your next steps. A lot will happen this month that will impact you for the next several years. One of the major shifts for Fixed signs is the transit of Saturn and Jupiter both entering Aquarius on the 17th and 19th. As a Fixed sign, this upcoming Saturn transit will be one that will help you evolve. With Uranus already in your sign, you are in for a lot of changes that lie ahead for the next several years. The Solar eclipse on the 14th is going to set the tone for what you will be focused on in the next few years. Your work ethic will be tested but this will not be stopping you as long as you understand your limits. On the following day, the 15th, Venus enters the sign of Sagittarius also moving your focus on self-care and changes in your health routine. 2021 will have you driven and in top shape. On the 20th and 21st, Mercury and the Sun enter the sign of Capricorn, which is an enlightening transit for you as you prepare to take a course you have been interested in or learn more about subjects in school. Either way, you are in it for some growth and understanding. In December, you are The Star, a very Aquarian card that can also relate to the changes currently happening to your sign. All your work and effort will be taken into account. Things might be shifting quickly but you should just take things as slow and steady and remember to breathe in when things are beyond your control.
Gemini – Geminis will be in awe as the Full Moon eclipse on the 30th of November does some numbers on your sign. This is not a bad thing; eclipse season is transformative and enlightening. It can even feel spiritual during this season, especially with Mercury entering Sagittarius on the 1st. It is a time of introspection and analysis for you. Letting for of the past will also be in your plans. You are seeing the opportunities that are presented in your horizon, especially when the Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius happens on the 14th and Venus enters the same sign on the 15th. Lots of potential and growth, lots of romance and exploration. This is a month that will surely keep you on your toes. Saturn and Jupiter change signs on the 17th and 19th. Another major moment as you see fellow Air Signs taking the helm now with this major transit. This period is going to make you question your beliefs, ambitions, and goals. It is a challenge, but it will be worth it as you set your sights for greater things once it is over. Six of Pentacles appears in your reading, a sign you will be imparting some valuable pieces of knowledge to those around you. Sagittarius season will be a time for learning and discoveries, so it is only fair you share your wisdom with others.
Cancer – The King of Wands Reversed is in your reading for the month, a sign you need to keep your eyes on the prize. The last two years have probably worn you down, but you have grown and felt more empowered by it, like your other fellow Cardinal signs. On the 30th of November, the Full Moon in Gemini will serve as a reminder that you need to recharge your batteries and if that didn’t settle in the first time, the Solar Eclipse on the 14th, in Sagittarius will be another reminder to take things easy and make changes to your habits. On the 17th and 19th, Saturn and Jupiter will finally leave the Cardinal grip and enter the Fixed sign Aquarius. You will probably be feeling the excitement around that time because these planets are no longer in Capricorn and they will not be in aspect to your sun, moon or rising. Your focus now will be on working through letting go of the past, but you have the mindset to continue to fight and succeed in what you set your sights on. Mercury and the Sun enter Capricorn on the 20th and 21st, making you feel more relationship focused on this time. You might want to reconnect with friends, an ex-lover or start a new romance. One transit that will keep you on your toes will be the Full Moon in your sign on the 29th. This will be a closing of a chapter that was probably initiated a few years back or earlier in the Summer. Either way, it is a reflective period where you will see how much you have changed and who you have become.
Leo – It is eclipse season and this upcoming one on the 14th in Sagittarius will be a beautiful one for you. It will be a time for reconnecting or initiating some new romances if you are single. On the 15th, magic will be in the air for you as Venus also enters the sign of Sagittarius and it would not hurt to have a little fun by either treating yourself or just doing Venus related things like a spa day or just resting. The King of Pentacles is your card for this month, in command and in control. Fixed signs will be looking forward to the 17th and 19th of December, as Saturn finally changes back into the sign of Aquarius. You have already experienced a bit of what Aquarius had in store for you back in the Spring. We will now be experiencing this transit full time until 2023, so expect the next couple of years to be very crucial for you. This is the evolutionary period for your fellow fixed signs. The Sun enters Capricorn on the 21st, a time that will briefly echo the Saturn in Capricorn transit. You will be focused on work and taking care of yourself and might even think back to what you have gone through in the last few years. The nostalgic period is amplified when the Full Moon in Cancer graces us on the 29th of December. A perfect way to close the year with this beautiful water sign, giving us a calming peaceful energy that is needed as we enter the new year.
Virgo – With the Page of Cups as your card for the month, you are entering an exciting phase. Saturn in Capricorn has brought things down a bit for you when it comes to your romantic life. If you are single, this will be the time where you can start to meet new people. Saturn and Jupiter move into Aquarius on the 17th and 19th and will meet up for an epic conjunction on the 21st the same day the Sun enters Capricorn. You might feel starry eyed and ready to take the plunge because everything will be rosy colored for you now that you are free from the ties of Saturn in Capricorn. The Solar Eclipse on the 14th will be pivotal for you, as you will experience changes in your immediate environment as well as school or work. No need to be afraid, changes are needed to help us evolve into our next kick ass form. The last year has been a challenge for everyone and you have worked through it all with patience that has made you stand out to those in charge. Keep up the good work. If you have slacked, this will be a good time to redeem yourself. Overall, the month is filled with many opportunities for work and success especially now that Saturn will be in Aquarius. On the 29th, the Full Moon in Cancer will bring you a happy vibe as you can spend time with friends and family over zoom or if you are already living with them, you can experience a joyful time together this holiday season.
Libra – The Full Moon in Gemini on November 30th will be a doozy for you and fellow air signs. You can feel the changes in the air as we all get ready for the big planet Saturn, to move into new waters. With Justice Reversed as your card for the month, you are ready to experience those karmic conclusions and this Full Moon will be eye opening for you. The Solar eclipse on the 14th will make you more communicative, allowing you to reach out to people and being in your chatty element. This is a great time for creatives to set new goals and begin some fun projects for the next six months. On the 15th, Venus enters the sign of Sagittarius as well, giving you more of an imaginative boost, masked in romance. You will be able to charm anyone during this time. Major changes with Saturn and Jupiter will begin on the 17th and 19th when the giants change signs into Aquarius. You will be dancing with joy since things will no longer feel as stressful compared with the Capricorn transit. This can be a period where you might begin to feel a bit more relaxed. The Jupiter and Saturn conjunction on the 21st, will have you feeling emotional about the people and relationships in your life, in a good way. Expect to feel appreciative and just an overwhelming sense of content. The month ends with the Full Moon in Cancer, illuminating your career house and you will see the results of your efforts around this time.
Scorpio – A momentous time for you will be the Full Moon eclipse in the sign of Cancer on the 29th which will serve as an empowering time where you get ready to make choices that will transform you for the next several years. With the Knight of Cups in your reading for the month, it will be a time for lighthearted moments and romance. You are in a very relaxed state, even with the Full Moon Eclipse in the sign of Gemini on November 30th, making you wonder how to make more empowering moves that will benefit you financially. This energy follows through towards the next Full Moon transit at the end of the month. Mercury entering Sagittarius on the 1st has you thinking about making money moves and you will not be afraid to jump into terrain you were not accustomed to before when it comes to learning new things. The Solar eclipse on the 14th in Sagittarius will also provide that sense of empowerment as you set your intentions now for a more prosperous New Year. On the 15th, Venus enters the fire sign Sagittarius as well, boosting your confidence and making you carry that boss energy. The big shifts will happen on the 17th and 19th when Saturn and Jupiter enter Aquarius, respectively. This will affect your sign because these two planets are no longer in Cardinal but Fixed territory. Expect your shift in values and home for the next several years as Saturn will restructure everything around you.
Sagittarius – So close! You can feel Saturn slowly leaving the sign of Capricorn because you might have felt your finances suffering a bit. Good news is that Mercury will be entering your sign on the 1st, giving you the mental prowess to solve problems, be charming and stress people out with your words. Remember not to be too harsh and to practice a little diplomacy. Luckily, Venus enters your sign on the 15th, adding that charm and passion into your demeanor, making your words feel like honey. The Five of Cups appears in your reading, showing that you need to stop being a downer and focus on the good times. Of course, you would never let others see just how much anxiety you can have since you give off the nonchalant vibes. This New Moon Eclipse on the 14th continues your evolutionary stage, so chill out and do not let that Full Moon in Gemini keep you nervous, just continue to focus and handle your business. On the 17th, Saturn enters Aquarius, and you might feel a sigh of relief. Your focus now for the next couple of years will change to other things pertaining more to communication and not your wallet. Jupiter will be in Aquarius on the 19th, initiating a very enlightening period for you, as you will most likely tap into your higher mind and spiritual pursuits for most of 2021. You will be right in your element.
Capricorn – This is a huge month for you since we enter your birthday season. Your ruler will also be leaving your sign later this month. It begins with Mercury in Sagittarius on the 1st, an interesting counterpart to the Full Moon in Gemini on the 30th. The themes with these two revolve around you taking care of yourself if you have been neglecting it. With the Five of Swords as your card for the month, you might feel drained by conflict, so this would be the perfect time to focus on creating peace and practicing diplomacy. Saturn enters the sign of Aquarius on the 17th, a time where the pressure starts to slowly leave you. Now you can focus more on restructuring yourself atter this Saturn transit in your sign for the last several years. On the 20th, Mercury enters Capricorn, and you will be inspired and motivated to take charge with what you say and do. The Sun will also enter your sign the following day, reenergizing you after what might have felt like a brief slumber. Finally, the month closes with the Full Moon in Cancer on the 29th, where you will devote your energies to your partnerships and appreciating the people in your life who are there for you. Rest up and Happy December!
Aquarius – One of the major events this month will be Saturn entering your sign on the 17th and Jupiter will follow right behind it on the 19th. This month will be transformative for everyone and you will begin your new journey for the next few years. You already got a taste of what Saturn in your sign has to offer earlier in the year and now you get to experience it. Seeking answers, learning about yourself and finding some new philosophies will be major themes for your sign in the next few years as shown with the Page of Wands Reversed. You will have to search deep inside to learn and truly understand yourself. Luckily, Jupiter will provide some healing qualities for most of 2021. Other notable events this month for you will be the New Moon in Sagittarius on the 14th. This is another eclipse that will open your eyes on how you view the collective. Venus will also enter the sign of Sagittarius on the 15th, a time where you can feel extremely passionate for a cause or you might just want to fall in love. This holiday season will be packed with fun and notable moments that will make you appreciate the circle of friends you have. This eclipse will let you know who has your back and who does not.
Pisces – Your card for the month is the Six of Swords, depicting that this is a transitional phase for you as 2021 approaches. Saturn will now apply some pressure since it will be in your house of dreams and secrets for the next few years. 2021 will begin your period of patience and focus. This is a meditative and contemplative time and 2020 has strengthened you up just for this moment in time. The Full Moon in Gemini was on November 30th, but the energies will still be felt through this month. Topics pertaining to your home will pop up, you might feel inspired to make changes around your immediate environment by decorating and making some home improvement changes. On the 14th, the New Moon will be in the sign of Sagittarius and Venus also changes to Sagittarius on the 15th. During this time, all eyes will be on you, so make the best of it as you capture the attention of mentors, teachers and/or bosses. This can be a time where you receive praise for the work you have done so far. Something we have all been looking forward to is Saturn entering Aquarius once more on the 17th and Jupiter changing signs on the 19th.  With Jupiter in Aquarius, you can feel a healing and spiritual vibe that will set the tone for 2021. Remember, you are ready for this, just before Saturn enters your sign in 2023. You should feel the excitement towards the end of the month with the Full Moon in Cancer, bringing some life to your house of creativity and adding depth and joy to the end of the year.

Note
Hello dear Brat. Boris today has delayed further reopening of the country for another 4 weeks (was meant to be 21st of June). This is due to the Delta (Indian) variant spreading faster and being more contagious. We have a feeling that it will never end, even with the fast paced vaccination programme. What do you say? Are we going to go through this cycle forever? Thanks.
Tumblr media
Forever? I don’t think it’ll go on forever. I’d summarize my thoughts based on a few things.
1. In Chinese astrology, this is a Yin Metal/Gold year; last year (2020) was a Yang Metal year. The metal element rules the lungs and large intestine in Chinese medicine. Lungs obviously being related to respiratory viruses since it is connected to the nose. Lilian Bridges wrote a forecast for the Year of the Ox here if you’re interested in reading it. Next year, is the Year of the (Water) Tiger, so the emphasis will change. The water element rules different organs within the body. (Lilian mentioned in a video forecast that 2022 will be a tumultuous year, so everyone is supposed to rest up this year!) Perhaps covid will still continue to some extent after the Year of the Tiger begins but not as much of a huge focus?
2. The UK’s country chart is running the dasa (time period) of Aquarius within the Narayana dasa sequence. The UK’s chart--01 Jan 1801 at midnight--has a Virgo ascendant, which means Aquarius is the 6th house (disease, limitation, & enemies). The UK has been running this Aquarius period since January 2016. It’ll change to Libra dasa (time period) on 31 December 2021. Libra is the 2nd house (wealth & speech) for the UK’s chart. A focus on money & finance from December 2021 to December 2024 would be expected during this upcoming Libra period within the Narayana dasa system.
3. Covid really started hitting things big after Saturn moved into Capricorn, in the sidereal zodiac, which Vedic astrology uses. 24 January 2020 is when Saturn moved into Capricorn. That was within 30 days of Covid in China making news around New Year’s 2020. 29 April 2022 is when Saturn will begin a brief transit into Aquarius. Saturn will be in Aquarius from 29 April 2022 until 12 July 2022. Perhaps a brief break from things then? Saturn will then be in Capricorn again from 12 July 2022 until 17 January 2023. When you consider changes possible within 30 days of those dates, then you can see a Spring-Fall or a Summer-Winter dichotomy happening, which makes sense since respiratory viruses tend to increase their transmission during the fall & winter, aka “flu season.” Things started opening up in the US around the time Jupiter moved into Aquarius. Jupiter moved into Aquarius on 05 April 2021, and it’ll stay there until 14 September 2021. Jupiter will be in Capricorn from 14 September 2021 until 20 November 2021. I expect more lockdowns when Jupiter moves back into Capricorn again this fall.
4. Jupiter currently in the nakshatra (lunar mansion) of Shatabisha in Aquarius until 19 July. Shatabisha means “a hundred physicians” or healers. I’m hoping that a new treatment strategy comes out during this period. Jupiter’s transit in Shatabisha corresponds with Mars’ transit in Cancer until 20 July. I assume that if there is a better treatment strategy for severe or moderately severe covid, then that will change things faster than the vaccines, even if it isn’t immediately in use by the end of the summer.
Before I forget, everyone needs to make sure they have adequate amounts of vitamin D in their system. It’s essential for your immune system to function, covid vaccine or no covid vaccine. Get some sunshine or supplement if you need to!
Here are two studies about Vitamin D and Covid:

December 2020 Dates
Tumblr media
This grueling year is almost over...what lies in store for its final month? For one thing, a lot of big changes all at once towards the middle/end of the month. (Image and the bulk of information taken from The Astrology Podcast’s monthly video, so dates are based off U.S. time zones--if you’re in the Eastern Hemisphere it may be a day earlier)
As I’m writing this there’s a full moon and lunar eclipse in Gemini, whose effects will reverberate for awhile. (Anyone interested in pictures I took of it?) Additionally, Neptune has only been direct in Pisces for a few days going into the new month.
!November 30: Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse in Gemini! Moon at 8 degrees Gemini; lunar nodes (Moon’s path) have shifted to the Gemini-Sagittarius axis this summer--when the Sun or Moon cross each other’s paths this creates an eclipse.
Expect hidden information to be revealed--even moreso than a regular new moon. We may seek lots of information, but end up overwhelmed through it. This eclipse is also conjunct the royal star Aldebaran, indicating major changes for people who are powerful, especially because of their possessions (thinking the current US president experiencing changes, though both major candidates & VPs have significant Gemini/Sag placements affected by this). Things may move more quickly between now and the next eclipse.
December 1: Mercury enters Sagittarius After retrogrades in Scorpio & Libra for months, Mercury is truly in new territory!
!December 14: New Moon & Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius! 23 degrees Sagittarius--coinciding with Biden’s rising sign and that of the U.S. chart (July 4, 1776 around 5PM) on the day the electoral college votes.
Because it’s a New Moon and close to the South Node, we can expect the end of a a cycle or journey--check your Sagittarius house. This eclipse’s ruler Jupiter is about to leave Capricorn but will not enter Aquarius for a few days, so things aren’t going to completely wrap up. It’s the first set of eclipses on the Gemini-Sagittarius axis, so this emptiness or clearing out will precipitate some new activity in those areas. Perhaps travel will be affected--air travel became heavily restricted last time the South node was in Sagittarius was 2001.
December 15: Venus enters Sagittarius Venus will join Mercury here, also treading new ground.
!December 17: Saturn enters Aquarius! He’s been in Capricorn for three years now, thought we got a little preview of it a few months ago before he went retrograde. He’ll no longer be making difficult aspects to Mars, which is reason for hope. Once again Saturn is domicile, this time in his diurnal/extroverted expression. He will also be squaring Uranus in Taurus, who wants to enact bombastic, Promethean changes. He’ll stop sharing a sign with Pluto (though still conjunct for awhile), signaling a light at the end of the tunnel for the "disease-ridden totalitarian nightmare” that these once-in-40-years contacts indicate.
What structures of the past are crumbling, and what will the structures of the future look like? Aquarius makes people think of experimenting and limitless possibilities, but keep in mind that airy, Saturnian Aquarius just as concerned with rules as Capricorn was--but now it’s a matter of determining our new M.O.
!December 19: Jupiter enters Aquarius! Sun conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius Jupiter has spent a year trekking through Capricorn and will soon join Saturn. As the major benefic, he may have a stabilizing effect on Saturn’s transit this time, or he may simply amplify the effects. This will also indicate Jupiter returns for those of you with Jupiter in Aquarius natally, so look out for artistic inspiration or crises of faith in this area of your chart.
December 20: Mercury enters Capricorn Look to your natal chart for where communication may be highlighted.
December 21 (Solstice): Sun enters Capricorn Cardinal signs, especially Cap suns, will be happy to celebrate the first birthday in 3 years that doesn’t have Saturn looming over it. Eclipses have also been hitting cardinal signs the past few years, and will now be in mutable signs.
!!!December 21: Jupiter and Saturn conjunct in Aquarius!!! These planets are only closely conjunct about every 20 years. This particular lineup is a rare “great conjunction” where they will look like almost one star. Jupiter will remain in Aquarius for a year and Saturn for about two.The effects may appear on the day itself in headlines and such, but the effects are more slowly moving at a personal level for sure.
Does this mean we’re entering the Age of Aquarius? Well, it depends on who you ask. The Age is generally defined by the precession of the equinoxes shifting, which technically won’t happen for another 700 years or so. Personally I think we’re getting a preview of it, since we’re in the last quarter of a 2000-year cycle where the vernal equinox is in the constellation Pisces, and because there is debate as to where the “ages” start considering the irregular breadth of the constellations themselves, I’m not going to completely dismiss the idea that we’re headed for changes in human consciousness.
We’re definitely entering an Aquarian period of time for the next 20 years. And for the next 200 years Jupiter and Saturn will be conjunct only in air signs, so we will be entering an era of air as well. Austin predicts a cyberpunk dystopia (LOL). This air cycle may indicate that we are using the Internet in even more ways, and that rules and limitations in these spheres will come forward.
Additionally, Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions only occur in air signs every 800 years or so. Historically time periods like this often align with prophets or major historical figures with changes worldwide--so we can still expect some major shifts.
December 23: Mars in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn (not pictured) Third of three. Moon will be conjunct Mars as well--very hot and combustible. This may bring up frustrations and conflicts with control and power dynamics, but with subtle, structural issues. Personally this may be an irritating couple days for us. Mars is speeding up in December and will exit his retrograde shadow in January.
December 29: Full Moon in Cancer The first time in a few years Saturn won’t be looming over this! The Moon is in domicile here so it may be nourishing. Not configured to benefics or malefics (will square Mars in a day or two) and this may finally be kind of nice. Venus will also square Neptune around this time, so relationships and other Venusian activities may be dreamy and idealisitc.
Fresh new chapters will begin to open up in 2021--we’re experiencing the end of an era in multiple ways here.

Why Meghan Markle decided to speak up NOW - astrologer breaks down the explosive interview
Tumblr media
Everyone is making assumptions and forming opinions about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the accusations made within the interview with Oprah, but nobody really knows what is going on with the couple behind closed doors. Astrology is one way to learn a little more about a person’s feelings and the way they experience the world. Express.co.uk chatted to astrologer Francesca Oddie (@francescaoddieastrology) to find out more about why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the Royal Family and why the pair decided now was the time to challenge the monarchy.
We are all born with a birth chart or horoscope that acts as the GPS of our life and foretells so many of our decisions.
As the planets in the sky continue to move, they transit points in our personal horoscope and bring certain issues to light.
Astrologer Francesca Oddie knows Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s birth charts like the back of her hand and has been tracking the planets in line with the horoscope since the start of their relationship.
The last year or so has been challenging to say the least for Meghan, and this could’ve been predicted by one look at her birth chart.
READ MORE-  Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 2021 horoscope
Why has Meghan Markle decided to speak up now?
You’ve heard the phrase ‘the Age of Aquarius’, and that’s what we’re living in right now.
Francesca explained: “Saturn and Jupiter moved into Aquarius in December 2020 and we all hailed the new age!
“It’s a premature claim, but we might be excited about increased equality, communication, kindness, friendliness and human rights.”
At present, Uranus the ruling planet of Aquarius is square to Saturn the ruling planet of Capricorn, and this makes it the perfect time for Meghan to speak up.
Francesca said: “With Saturn opposing Meghan’s Leo Sun-Mercury conjunction and Uranus square to it, she wants to set the record straight.
“The conversation with Oprah may be seen as a PR stunt by many but, is it a reaction to having her story told for her and wanting and needing to speak it?
“She needs to break with tradition and articulate some of what’s been going on.
“I think any of us who have ever been gossiped about and felt friends be awkward with us can relate to the ease we feel when we get to tell our side of the story.”
Harry also has planets that feed into this story, with his Saturn at 12 Scorpio (at a right angle to Meg’s Sun).
Francesca explained: “Harry’s duty and a very strong connection to his family and father (where Saturn describes the father) is also being tested as he’s broken away from the traditional set-up and seeks to find a new way.
“His Moon is 21 degrees Taurus so it would have been trining his Moon the whole time too. It has been a huge transformation for him too.”
Could the interview start a new movement like the #FreeBritney movement? Possibly.
Francesca noted that Britney and Meghan were born 122 days apart and Britney’s Moon is at 12 degrees of Aquarius.
She said: “These points in the sky are currently really sensitive and people whose charts are picked up by these transits will be experiencing sudden shifts and changes (for you it’s if you’re an Aquarius, Taurus, Leo or Scorpio born in January, May, August or November) – people in the public eye are illustrating some of these themes for us!
“What we can see retrospectively with Britney is the way the media tore her apart and no one stuck up for her. Now that times are different, people are ashamed of their past actions regarding Britney.
“Irrespective of what you think of Meghan or Britney, taking a step back and looking at the stories that are repeating in the news can give us some insight into the astrological themes of the moment.”
AbolishTheMonarchy was trending on Twitter as the UK woke up to the news of what was said in the interview with Oprah, and Francesca said there may be some changes in light of the interview.
Francesca said: “By the end of this year and the third and final Saturn Uranus square on Christmas Eve, we will all think very differently about the rules, what they are there for and who benefits from them.”
Oprah With Meghan and Harry is on ITV at 9pm on Monday March 8. You can watch the full interview afterwards on the ITV hub [Link to https://www.itv.com/hub/itv]

VERY INTENSE 2020 & 2021, MANY RETROGRADATIONS (Rx)
Since November last year, I commented 2020 & 2021 would not be just two like any year, much less " easy" ... for anyone.
In the post of the twenty - seventh November 2019, updated on 14 March this year on same page in fakebook. But since it is a monserga to look for something in fakebook, I put the links to the same information published on Tumblr. First in Spanish and English below:

---
https://legendarycollectorengineer.tumblr.com/post/189367167290/in-the-last-two-thousand-years-this-planetary
Retrograde (Rx) phenomenon of planets has been studied since ancient times, when there were no ephemeris or astrology programs for computers. Because it is a phenomenon observed directly on nights firmament, at best with a good telescope.
Astrologers whom base their knowledge on astrological ephemeris and computer programs are losing true meaning of retrograde planets. A retrograde planet happens when closer to Earth. If we move away from the ephemeris and get closer to night sky observation, we see the planet in retrograde “motion” larger and brighter than usual. Far from being "weakened" as generally believed by cabinet astrologers, a retrograde planet shows actually Its maximum power for us, on Earth.
Retrograde planet is bigger and brighter than normal. The retrograde cycle, when the planet in question seems to reverse the direction of its APPARENT movement in our sky, is precisely when that planet is the most important thing, it is not weakened at all but, in any case, exalted.
THE LIST OF RETROGRADING PLANETS DURING THIS TWO YEARS IS LONG.
Pluto on Capricorn (EVOLUTION) began His retrogradation last Sunday, April 25 in 25° Capricorn, and will not go through degrees untouched in this retrogradation until Monday, January 25, 2021.
Saturn on Aquarius (JUSTICE) will begin His retrogradation next Monday eleven at 1° 57' of that sign. He will not go back through degrees untouched in this cycle until Monday, January 4, 2021.
Venus on Gemini (FLIGHTY) begins Hers retrograde on Wednesday next thirteen at 21° 50' of sign of the Tweens. She will not go through untouched degrees in this cycle until Saturday August the 29th.
On Thursday fourteen it will be Jupiter's turn on Capricorn (EXPEDITED) at 27° 14' to start Rx and He will not touch new degrees in this cycle until Sunday, December 6.
Mercury is on Taurus (TARGETED) and will begin Its retrogradation on Cancer (RECEPTIVE) on Thursday June 18 at 14° 44' of the Crab’s sign. It will be until Sunday the 26th, July that It will begin transiting through degrees not touched during this retrogradation.
On Saturday, August 15, it’s Uranus turn on Taurus (IMPROVISER) at 10° 42' and He will not move again over degrees not touched in this cycle until Saturday, May 1, next year.
Mars on Aquarius (ELECTRIC) currently, will retrograde on Aries (DYNAMIC) from Wednesday, September 9, at 28° 09'of the Ram’s sign and it is worth remembering that He is not in vain the god of war. Will begin to move on degrees untouched in this cycle until Monday first, March 2021.
Neptune on Pisces (MYSTIC) will begin Its retrograde on Tuesday 23, June at 20° 58' of the Fishes sign, and It will not pass through new degrees in this cycle until Friday nineteen, next March.
Chiron on Aries (CHIRON ON ARIES POINTS INWARD, TOWARDS THIS SACRED FIRE THAT HEATS, HEALS AND ILLUMINATES)
His retrogradation begins on Saturday, July 11 at 09° 26'of the Ram’s sign. He will not transit over degrees untouched in this cycle until Thursday, April 8 the next year.

The Week Ahead: August 23-29, 2021
Void of Course Moon
Tuesday, August 24, 09:12 UT (Pisces) - 18:57 UT (Aries)
Thursday, August 26, 21:14 UT (Aries) - Friday, August 27, 04:27 UT (Taurus)
Sunday, August 29, 14:59 UT (Taurus) - 16:42 UT (Gemini)
They’re getting longer again!
Lunar Phase
Thursday, August 25, 05:26 UT - Disseminating Moon, 18:12 Aries
The key phrases for the Disseminating lunar phase are to “teach, share,” and to “ease up on efforts.” Both may prove difficult to pull off - an Aries Moon is pretty single-minded and hard-headed (I should know, I have one). We may be obsessed with getting “our version” out there, and/or we’re determined to bring events to the conclusion we want. Let other people take their turn, and try not to force any issues.
Retrograde / Direct / Etc.
Pre-retrograde shadow: Ceres/Gemini
Retrograde: Pallas Athene/Pisces, Jupiter/Aquarius, Saturn/Aquarius, Chiron/Aries, Uranus/Taurus, Neptune/Pisces, Pluto/Capricorn, Eris/Aries
Post-retrograde shadow: Juno/Sagittarius
NB: it's going to stay like this for a couple of weeks.
Ingress
Monday, August 30, 05:10 UT - transiting Mercury enters Libra
Mercury will remain in Libra until November 5 - a long ways away, and you know what that means. Mercury retrograde will be upon us once more, with Merc entering its pre-retrograde shadow on September 6/7. Until then, though, Mercury has a pretty easy time of it, with some strong flowing aspects to the other planets. We’ll probably want to take advantage of that to set up the best possible Merc Rx!
Et Cetera
There are two Opportunity Periods this week:
Thursday, August 26, 18:02 UT - 21:14 UT. "Suitable for anything, this OP is an excellent time to take the initiative."
Sunday, August 29, 08:36 UT - 16:42 UT. "Highly productive OP."
On Friday, the ongoing “evolve or die” Pluto-Eris square matures again. One way this seems to be manifesting in the US (where I live), is in the attitudes and actions of the MAGAt crowd. Something many left-leaning folks can’t or won’t consider is that those people are determined to destroy the country if they have to share it, especially with brown people, LGBTQ people, women, non-Christians. Universal health care? Not if brown people get it, too. They scream and pout about their “freedom,” which for them is in actuality better defined as “white priviledge.”
Another thing US progressives have trouble dealing with is that, for many of the MAGAt crowd, the cruelty is the point. The worst possible manifestation of Pluto and Eris, I think.
Anyway, that square matures on Friday, but don’t be surprised if “things” happen on Wednesday or Thursday. In the US, refugees will continue to be a concern and (sadly) a bone of contention. Some of us may also discover that we can’t assume everyone in our circle(s) agrees with us politically. Along the lines of “Did I really just hear you say that?”

Jupiter in 2021
Jupiter’s 2021 timeline:
Friday, January 1, 2021 - 2:47 Aquarius
Saturday, March 27 - Jupiter enters pre-Rx shadow, 22:19 Aquarius
Thursday, May 13 - Jupiter enters Pisces
Sunday, June 20 - Jupiter stations retrograde, 2:11 Pisces
Wednesday, July 28 - Jupiter retrogresses back into Aquarius
Monday, October 18 - Jupiter stations direct, 22:19 Aquarius
Wednesday, December 29 - Jupiter re-enters Pisces
Saturday, January 1, 2022 - Jupiter at 0:32 Pisces
Jupiter’s 2021 story really began on December 19, 2020, when it entered the sign Aquarius - and on December 21, 2020, when it was conjunct Saturn in Aquarius. Now, it will scoot through the entire sign of Aquarius, without stopping once, and venture a little over 2 degrees into Pisces, before stationing retrograde. Jupiter moves back into Aquarius at the end of July, and stays there until almost the end of the year, when it re-enters Pisces.
That’s just so illustrative of Jupiter. It gets carried away with the momentum of a new start, and barrels right on through, moving on to the next sign even - until it has to go back and do over roughly the last third of Aquarius. Whoops.
So, looking at the Jupiter-through-Aquarius piece: we’re supposed to recognize opportunities to expand and explore (transiting Jupiter) in Aquarius ways. What are those ways? Well, computers and electronics, definitely; I’m hoping that we’ll emerge from our COVID cocoons seeing that someone has found innovative ways to improve online experiences. I’m also (as an educator) hoping that the frankly disgusting inequality of broadband access will be addressed. Everybody needs the best internet access, just like with clean water and electricity.
There’s also a big piece of Aquarius that wants to dump all the cultural programming and blithely do its own thing. If you’re feeling pressured to conform, and you’re sick of it, this is a good chance for you to break away from the pressure.
Socially, Aquarius goes two ways - either surrounded by crowds of people, or all alone. It’s important to make sure we aren’t going to harmful Jupiterian extremes in either direction. The extroverts among us may go overboard in socializing, after being denied it for so long; while the introverts among us (like the one writing this!) may go overboard with social distancing and not want to leave their bedrooms.
Anybody got anything else? It does my old heart a world of good when my followers share their knowledge with the rest of us!
As for Jupiter in Pisces - well, that’s only two and a half months. I would rather not write about it at all, because it’s basically a “mulligan” - a “do-over” - because Jupiter will retrogress right back into the final eight degrees of Aquarius. We’ll have some extra work to do with Jupiter in Aquarius, before we can properly progress into Pisces.
(The final third of the sign is the Libra decanate. Ms M is hoping for some social justice action.)
When Jupiter is traveling between 0:00 and 22:19 of Aquarius: if Jupiter will aspect one of your natal placements, it will be a “one and done” situation. For example, poor Ms M gets only one trine to her natal Sun, alas. (But she’s counting her blessings - she gets only one square to her natal Ascendant, too.)
When Jupiter is between 22:19 Aquarius and 2:11 Pisces: Jupiter is going to spend most of his time in 2021 in this narrow 10-degree stretch of Zodiac. If he aspects any placement in your chart, during this time, that aspect will be a three-peat - three separate instances. The first one “just” makes you aware of a situation; the second one gives you further insights and information; the third one should allow you to resolve the situation.
Good Jupiter Days
A “good” Jupiter day is one in which the transiting Moon is in Sagittarius, Jupiter’s sign, and making either a sextile or a trine to transiting Jupiter. They’re “lucky” days, but they’re also times when it is possible to drastically overdo something. Maybe the best use of these times is to spread the good luck to the people around you?
Saturday, January 9, 11:15 UT - 19:18 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius
Friday, February 5, 17:16 UT - Saturday, February 6, 12:45 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius
Thursday, March 4, 22:43 UT - Saturday, March 6, 05:07 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius
Thursday, April 1, 05:59 UT - Friday, April 2, 22:17 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius
Wednesday, April 28, 15:42 UT - Friday, April 30, 13:27 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius
Monday, August 16, 03:12 UT - Wednesday, August 18, 01:43 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius
Sunday, September 12, 08:34 UT - Tuesday, September 14, 01:38 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius
Saturday, October 9, 15:24 UT - Monday, October 11, 04:30 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius
Saturday, November 6, 00:52 UT - Sunday, November 7, 13:44 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius
Friday, December 3, 12:13 UT - Sunday, December 5, 05:08 UT - Moon/Sagittarius sextile Jupiter/Aquarius

Transiting Mars enters retrograde zone
Timeline (current events in bold)
Saturday, July 25, 2020, 14:10 UT - transiting Mars enters retrograde zone, 15:14 Aries
Wednesday, September 9, 2020, 22:22 UT - transiting Mars stations retrograde, 28:08 Aries
Saturday, November 14, 2020, 00:36 UT - transiting Mars stations direct, 15:14 Aries
Saturday, January 2, 2021, 19:10 UT - transiting Mars exits retrograde zone, 28:08 Aries
Before I even get started, the main thing I want everyone to take from any of this is to SLOW THE F*$& DOWN. It’s a guarantee that anything you try to start &/or accomplish between July 25 and September 9 will be revisited, when Mars is retrograde - and then, re-revisited, after Mars stations direct.
My #1 source for Rx Zone issues, Martin Bulgerin (www dot biopscinst dot com), has this to say about Mars retrograde:
During Mars retrograde periods, we get to experience how we sabotage our own actions, preventing us from achieving what we desire to do. The ability to express your will-power seems thwarted. The key here is to discover what is keeping you from effective action and changing it. This inner nemesis may be an over active temper, an impatience with planning when you can rush into activity, or simply a lack of awareness that causes you to ignore useful clues. This is not a good time to initiate new projects that require perseverence, nor is it easy to work with others during this cycle.
In a perfect world, we took to heart all the lessons about effective Mars expression, back when Mars was in Pisces. We learned how to be more of a Zen master than a trigger-happy soldier. Unfortunately, this is 2020. As if it isn’t bad enough to have Mars Rx in his own sign, DURING AN ELECTION YEAR IN THE US, we have a series of difficult aspects which transiting Mars is going to “do” three times each: Mars will square Pallas Athene, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto, three times each; Mars will also conjunct Eris/Aries three times.
Anyway, here we are in the pre-Rx zone. Issues that we’re going to have to deal with, during the time Mars is actually retrograde, will begin to crop up. Ms M has a strong natal Mars and has seen the writing on the wall, so to speak, for a few days now. I suggest that, if you’re also the possessor of a strong natal Mars (or Aries or Scorpio, or the 1st or 8th Houses), make notes on your planner about issues that crop up. Date and time, like that.
I haven’t gone into detail about the aspects of a planet, in quite some time. If I were you, I would pay attention to the transiting aspects that you may have in your natal chart. For example, I have natal Mars square natal Pallas Athene; I’m going to feel that set of squares very strongly.
You may also want to pay attention to any of the aspects that will trigger something in your own chart, regardless of whether or not you have it natally. The Mars-Saturn square on August 24, for example, will ding my natal Mercury/Gemini.
Finally: a few hours after Mars enters his Rx Zone (03:50 UT on Sunday, July 26), the Moon transiting Libra will oppose him. If we’re awake and aware, we should definitely feel this thing beginning to ratchet up.
Monday, July 27, 21:46 UT - Mercury/Cancer square Mars/Aries, 16:20
Third of three. This is the first non-lunar aspect Mars makes, and sets the tone for the whole experience. From Merc’s point of view, Mars is insensitive, cruel, and selfish; from Mars’ point of view, Merc whines too much and never wants to stand up for itself. My suspicion is that Mars is going to pick up on something unresolved from the recent Mercury Rx (some perceived insecurity), and run with it. Be smarter than that.
Placements affected lie between 15:20 and 17:20 of the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn; and between 0:20 and 2:20 of the mutable signs Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Wednesday, July 29, 05:02 UT - Pallas Athene Rx/Capricorn square Mars/Aries, 16:51
First of three. You never like to see the warrior squabbling with the master strategist. Pallas Athene is telling Mars to follow procedures, perhaps, and Mars just wants to trash everything with his sword. Again, this may “just” manifest as some issue we’ll have to face more thoroughly during Mars’ retrograde.
Placements affected lie between 15:51 and 17:51 of the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn; and between 0:51 and 2:51 of the mutable signs Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Tuesday, August 4, 13:06 UT - Jupiter Rx/Capricorn square Mars/Aries, 19:44
First of three. If I were telling a story (and I kind of am), it’s almost like Mars didn’t like the orders he got from Captain Pallas Athene, so he’s protesting up to General Jupiter. Which I don’t think is “done” in the Army! We could get carried away and overconfident; we may consent to take on some project that is way, way over our heads and/or our paygrades.
Placements affected lie between 20:44 and 22:44 of the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn; and between 5:44 and 7:44 of the mutable signs Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Thursday, August 6, 07:30 UT - Neptune Rx/Pisces semi-sextile Mars/Aries, 20:28
First of three. Much of the reason for the typical Martian bravado and belligerence can be found in the fact that the sign which precedes it, in the Zodiac, is Pisces. Mars/Aries is a reaction to Neptune/Pisces. Mars is essentially trying to banish, or at least cover up, what it perceives as all the Neptunian insecurity. A very subtle situation arises where the two different fighting styles are contrasted. Take good notes.
Placements affected lie between 19:28 and 21:28 of all signs. You’ll probably feel that one of these planets is helping you, and the other is hindering you.
Thursday, August 13, 07:13 UT - Pluto Rx/Capricorn square Mars/Aries, 23:05;  Friday, August 14, 19:40 UT - Ceres Rx/Pisces (8:35) semi-square Mars/Aries (23:35)
First of three, for both of them. Mars is beginning to slow down considerably, giving us this sort of “two-fer” situation to deal with. We all know the mythology between Ceres and Pluto, right? Here, Pluto is the strict, traditional husband; while Ceres is the anxious, overprotective mom. Now here comes Mars, spoiling for a fight. Whatever arises from this, it should be easier to separate the issues during Mars’ retrograde, and address them more appropriately.
Placements affected lie between 22:05 and 24:35 of the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn; and between 7:05 and 9:35 of the mutable signs Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Sunday, August 16, 14:01 UT - Sun/Leo trine Mars/Aries, 24:09;  Monday, August 17, 05:28 UT - Mercury/Leo trine Mars, Aries, 24:21;  Monday, August 17, 16:39 UT - Eris Rx/Aries conjunct Mars/Aries, 24:29 (First of three)
I honestly looked at this situation and thought, “Hubris.” The braggadocio levels are off the charts. I’m thinking about all these so-called “militia” types we have in the US, the bunch of ugly idiots brandishing their guns all the time. And you know what’s really unsettling? August 17 is the beginning of the Democratic National Convention. Expect clown cars, I guess.
Placements affected lie between 23:09 and 25:29 of all signs. Planets in yang signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius) will get more of a positive “boost” out of this, i.e., easier to express the energies.
Saturday, August 22, 14:04 UT - North Node/Gemini sextile Mars/Aries, 25:49; South Node/Sagittarius trine Mars/Aries, 25:49
First of three. The trine between the South Node and Mars makes it easy for us to “act up” in ways that have worked for us in the past. And in ways we’ve enjoyed acting up. However, we’re supposed to be going toward the North Node! We have opportunities here to “trade notes” and compare experiences with other people. There are smarter ways to get what we want. And we don’t have to fight all alone.
Placements affected lie between 24:49 and 26:59 of the yang signs Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Monday, August 24, 18:19 UT - Saturn Rx/Capricorn square Mars/Aries, 26:19 (First of three);  Wednesday, August 26, 03:48 UT - Mercury (11:36 Virgo) sesquare Mars (26:36 Aries)
In case you were wondering, this is the week scheduled (as of July 24) for the Republican National Convention. Remember that astrological cliche about how Mars is the gas pedal and Saturn is the brakes? Maybe Mercury can be the backseat driver, snarking out unhelpful instructions?! (This is also when my school district plans on opening schools back up.) There is some absolutely infuriating situation which may be too impossible to extract ourselves from. Alas for us, the revisit of Mars-Saturn, during the retrograde (Sept 23-24), will feature Merc in Libra opposing Mars and squaring Saturn. (However, for the third and final Mars-Saturn square, Merc is otherwise occupied.)
Placements affected lie between 25:19 and 27:36 of the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn; and between 10:19 and 12:36 of the mutable signs Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Friday, September 4, 09:12 UT - Venus/Cancer square Mars/Aries, 27:55; Friday, September 4, 13:15 UT - Mercury/Virgo inconjunct Mars/Aries, 27:55;  Saturday, September 5, 01:54 UT - Sun/Virgo (12:58) sesquare Mars/Aries (27:58)
The final “situation” before Mars stations retrograde sees all the personal planets ganging up on Mars. (The Moon will be conjunct Mars on Sept. 5-6.) This is where Mars has to face facts - the old ways aren’t working any more. Venus is cutting him off, the Sun is backing up Venus (and being snarky about it to both parties), and Mercury is detailing all the ways he’s being ineffective. In the US at least there’s a long holiday weekend for Mars to contemplate all this.
Placements affected lie between 26:55 and 28:08 of the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn; and between 11:55 and 13:08 of the mutable signs Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Et Cetera
Only one, ever-so-brief Opportunity Period this week: on Saturday, December 5, from 21:47 UT - 22:28 UT. Yes, 41 whole minutes long. It’s almost like, why bother?!? “A short OP that’s very positive for play and romance,” advises Llewellyn.
This, my loves, is the final week of the four-planet Capricorn pile up - next Monday, the 7th, transiting Pallas Athene will enter Aquarius, and the load will lighten just that little bit. I think this week we’ll see a major outbreak of “being done” with 2020, which is fine, as long as (1) we don’t do anything reckless; and (2) we keep in mind that we’ve all learned different lessons from 2020 and it would behoove us to absorb them well, before moving on into 2021. We need to try to morph all of our discontents into an attitude of “moving forward, what would be the smart/wise/kind/loving thing to do?”
