random astro observations pt. 2 (vedic)
1. sidereal aquarius is the most “hidden” and mysterious out of the zodiac. the heart of aquarius, shatabhisha, is the pinnacle of that energy.
2. jupiter in shravana can create a linguistic master, especially for people born in rahu or jupiter mahadasha. most likely to speak more than 3 languages.
3. any planet falling in uttara phalguni can make you attractive to women for the significations of that planet. mars: body, sex appeal, physical stamina, strength, masculinity. venus: your voice, eyes, charm, style, artistic talents, etc.
4. luminaries in chitra can make a person shine so beautifully in any group, setting, etc. unforgettable allure. people may find it hard to forget the chitra native’s influence and impact.
5. bharanis love chitras. bharani’s symbol is the womb (creativity), and chitra’s deity is the designer of wombs (muse and inspiration to the creative). chitra tends to generate a lot of creative energy, beauty and sensuality which inspire bharani to create, love, and wonder. however, this relationship could be draining to the chitra native in the long run.
6. venus conj. moon can make someone deeply sensitive and delicate. very fond of children. high fertility in women (if not afflicted). this conjunction has an energy similar to that of rohini.
7. ashwinis love wearing their hair down. a free, wild mane is their signature look.
8. in man’s chart, unafflicted ketu in the 1st house blesses him with a strong body and tall stature. jupiter makes him the biggest and tallest in his family, especially if it’s in sagittarius or aspected by ketu.
9. venus conj. rahu is the beauty expert — beauty guru. beautiful, big eyes. attractive voice. brilliant mind. may be detached from their sexuality. cerebal understanding of sex.
10. venus conj. ketu, especially in navamsa, is a sign that the soul will master unconditional love in this lifetime. deeply sensual and seductive. strong, spiritual connection with the lover or spouse.
11. taurus is the square (stability), leo is the triangle (power), scorpio is the rectangle (security), aquarius is the circle/sphere (unity). just a thought i had.

Could you tell us some about Phil’s vedic astrology?
So, a bit of a difficult question, because I do better with specifics... By that, I mean, when it came to Dan's chart, I was looking solely at his branding, and his fame, and that was the point. With Phil, I'm not sure what exactly it is that people would like me to talk about. A specific subject would be good to analyse, perhaps.
That said, if I look at Phil's chart, certain things do pop out to me, and those are interesting... So, lets discuss Phil's status as a niche icon, I think, because that is what his entire chart points to... This post is going to be even more technical than Dan's chart, because with Dan, I was only looking at Dan's branding, and the one single placement that impacted it (a lot I left out in that essay bc I could go on forever). Meanwhile, Phil's chart has more things going on, and I can't point to one single placement for one subject...
Once more, a disclaimer about how I'm uninterested in discussing whether astrology is real or not, and I'm mostly looking at the patterns and pointing out what could be coincidences.
So, Phil's first house contains Saturn and Venus, in the sign of Scorpio. These planets don't generally tend to do very well in the first house, because both of these planets are inherently related to those outside of you. As in, Saturn relates to society and community, while Venus relates to lovers and partners. These planets are friendly to each other as well, because Saturn exalts in Libra, which is ruled by Venus.
In a sense, Phil's chart is very Saturn led, with his Moon, Mercury, and Sun in the sign of Capricorn, and Jupiter in Aquarius (both signs ruled by Saturn). His Saturn is ruled by Mars in pisces, which is ruled by Jupiter, and his Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter sort of loop back to each other, making these influences strongest in his chart.
Saturn and Mars are malefic planets, both related to struggles and pain, so Phil has an extremely high tolerance for a lot of the problematic things that occur in his life. Because Jupiter, the planet of wisdom and optimism is also involved in this loop, he tends to take hardships as lessons, and tends to zoom past them.
Saturn is related to people who are marginalized, outcast, and somehow not accepted by the rest of society. A lot of times, it can indicate being part of a community that is somehow ostracized. The gay community is one of these communities. In the modern world, Saturn often presents as extremely alternative.
Saturn is often associated with ugliness in the ancient texts, but almost every beauty icon in the modern world has very strong Saturn placements. So, that is something that should be taken with a pinch of salt. What is more accurate to say is that Saturn gives people an unconventional look, which can be shocking to the eyes. They have something to offer that the rest of the world does not, something different. They tend to be trendsetters in their field, people who change the game.
Something I find very interesting that Phil has said is that he never related to the emo look, but that he had the emo look because he wanted to attract emo boys. This relates very much to his Saturn and Venus in the first house. I personally would interpret Venus in first house as him being attracted to people who he relates to, but because of Saturn (which numbs down ego and personal emotion, because it is about the other), he wasn't fully able to feel the way he felt.
Phil's first house is ruled by Mars in Pisces, in the 5th house, which is sitting with Rahu. This particular placement feels more to him like him, than other placements, because a Martian sign in first house is quite good. This makes him someone who gets attention (rahu) for his creativity (5th house). Phil's Rahu mahadasha (great rahu phase) was from 1993 to 2011. During this time is when I suspect baby Phil's habit of lying for attention really came into the picture, like when he lied about having a very cool twin brother (Rahu rules glamour and fakeness, which, in babies, can come across as lying to look more glamourous).
Rahu gives a sort of temporary fame and virality, and the fame given by Rahu doesn't usually last for too long. However, there is a way that fame can last for a longer time, and that is through Saturn, the planet of time, community, and public reputation.
I'm going to guess that 2004 to 2005 (his ketu antardasha, sub ketu phase within the greater rahu phase) was a difficult time for Phil, because he lost a lot of what he built, maybe he was exposed in a way he didn't want to be, but it was also a time when he learnt to be more true to himself, which is something that he took with him when his next phase of life (venus antardasha) started. I suspect this was the time when he was outed to his friends.
Phil's Venus antardasha was from 2005 to 2008, which is around the time where he established his aesthetic, based on what he was attracted to. To actually feel like himself, Phil always will have to figure out what he's attracted to, and become that person. When he does this, he finds that the kind of people who he wanted in his life were just flocking to him without him doing anything about it.
Phil made his youtube account during his Venus antardasha, and his Venus is sitting with Saturn, their qualities intermingling. Anything that he does in pursuit of love or relationships is likely to last for a long time for Phil. He won't be able to do casual relationships, whether with people, or with work, they'll fizzle out almost immediately unless its meant to last.
Saturn's downside, to a large extent, comes from the fact that... People with strong Saturn associated with the self, are often not treated like full people, but rather, as icons. A lot of times, because Saturn is such a stoic planet, people do not feel as attached to Saturn. Parasociality is hard to build with a planet like Saturn. Saturn tends to show up most as a planet that rules servants. It is associated with fame, because, in many ways, celebrities provide a service to society, through sharing their talent.
Saturn as a planet of service is interesting, because something that Phil would do with his fame as a young youtuber was to be a strong part of the community, collaborate a lot, and even with youtubers who weren't as big a deal as he was. Showing off his creativity with his videos is one aspect, but another, bigger aspect, was the community he was part of, and he was sort of a pillar in that community. He would encourage other youtubers, and give them exposure (like he did with Dan, LOL).
However, Saturn becomes such a part of the community that, outside of their field of interest (where they garner a LOT of respect and appreciation), they tend to become just another face in the crowd. A lot of what is special about them is taken away by the masses they serve, and there usually isn't enough personality left to keep an audience hooked. The 7 second challenge, and the toilet tag are prime examples of this, kind of. Popular concepts invented by Phil, but taken by so many people that it can't be traced back to him.
Something to think about is that with Phil, it's not JUST that he is creative. I mean, of course he is, but actually, his bigger strength is timing, and keeping up with the current trends, and the need of the hour. His Rahu in 5th house is very prominent, and is what makes him creative, however, his real strength is Ketu in the 11th house of community, which gives him a sort of intuition with what the audience will be most receptive to. 11th house is also associated with Saturn, btw.
Saturn does create icons, but it creates niche icons. Icons to people in the know, sort of. The inspiration for a lot of those people who gain much more popularity than they do. To gain mainstream popularity, what you need is not just Saturn, but strong Sun (which is being EXTREMELY good at doing something conventional) or strong Moon (very good branding, gets the audience invested in you as a person). Phil has a weaker Moon, and an okay Sun, however, Dan has a very very strong Moon. So, a lot of the mainstream flowers that Phil gets in the public are also due to Dan standing up for him in the public eye.
Right now, Phil is not in his icon era (maybe a bit. His Mars and Rahu antardasha will be going from 2024 to 2027, and that will make him go viral A LOT). He was from 1993 to 2011 (yeah, he was an iconic baby, ig. His creativity made him very popular with people who knew him), and will be again in 2027 (Saturn Mahadasha, where he will be known more for himself, and maybe for his relationship. which is lowkey the same thing to him).
Right now, he is in his Jupiter mahadasha, which is Jupiter in Aquarius, in 4th house. Jupiter gives wisdom and luck, but doesn't really relate to fame in the same way, and in the 4H, it gives a blessed home life. Unfortunately, his Jupiter and 4H is the sign of Aquarius, which relates heavily to the public, just as Saturn does. Not the best sign for a house that is about comfort, home, and emotional security. During his Jupiter Mahadasha, Phil has dealt a lot with the concept of the public, the private life, striking that balance, and creating his boundaries. The public feels entitled to his private life, and they show it. Phil cannot be away from the public life, the way Dan sometimes can, and he knows it. But, navigating his private life along with his work is something he's been dealing with, and will be dealing with until 2027.
#sorry that this isn't as well organized#it's hard to fully express what I want to express here bc there's so much to talk about#fun fact: Phil's chart is far more edgy than Dan's chart#which is very funny bc of his reputation as the wholesome side of Dan and Phil#But in general I've noticed that people with strong malefic influence in their chart don't like dwelling too much on the bad stuff#because if you do that u will be bogged down#and the malefics... have their perks#the perks are money fame and respect#dan and phil#dnp#phan#daniel howell#amazingphil#dan howell#danisnotonfire#phil lester#vedic astrology#astrology#saturn

Hi dear!
I saw your posts about Nakshatras and Mahadashas so I hope it's okay if I ask 2 questions in a single ask.
From what I read, Mahadashas is a like what planetary returns are in the western astrology (?) but not exactly.
Do you mind explaining further what the significance of Mahadasha is?
Because when I followed the instructions in one of your post on how to pull it out, it looked like I'm in an overlap of the longer time period (Venus) and the one started last year (Jupiter).
Here's photo for reference:
Also, what does it mean to be in this current Mahadasha?
Is it okay if I send another ask about the Nakshatras?
sorry for the delayed response, ive been a bit busy!
a Mahadasha can be described as a period of time that is governed by one of 9 planets (ranging from the longest- the 20yr Venus mahadasha to the shortest 6yr Sun mahadasha)
how you experience your birth chart depends on what mahadasha you're currently under. its basically used for predictive purposes?? it dictates the state of life you're in in??
every mahadasha is basically a chance to experience that planet's energies and be transformed by it?? obviously not everybody will experience every mahadasha in their lifetime but we'll experience at least 2-4 and its best to think of it as a tool to master those influences.
each mahadasha period is further divided into antardashas (in your case you're currently in Venus mahadasha and Jupiter antardasha)
These subdivisions allow a much more detailed examination of the influence of each mahadasha, and a much clearer indication of what events are expected to occur and when. within each mahadasha, we have antardashas of each of the 9 planets,, so even if we never experience that planet's mahadasha, we'll still experience it as an antardasha
I think dashas help us understand our chart in a more interactive way and not as something static or set in stone. it's a tool for growth imo
even if you dont have certain planetary influences in your chart, through the dashas you get to experience its impact??? so every individual gets a taste of each of the 9 lords. obviously based on the peculiarities of our chart, we'll each experience this differently.
i hope this cleared it up<3

Hello. Hope you're doing well.
Can I please know what can be expected during a Rahu Mahadasha, Moon Antardasha and Rahu pratyantardasha? Will a marriage be fruitful during this transit?
My sister is getting married in December. Her Rahu pratyantardasha is ending on 5th October and Jupiter pratyantardasha is starting from 6th October.
Can I please know how it'll impact her?
Hello! I'm doing well, thank you, and I hope you're doing well too.
When it comes to astrological transits like Rahu Mahadasha, Moon Antardasha, and their influence on life events like marriage, it's important to consider the specific planetary positions and the birth chart of the individual, as the exact outcome can differ greatly. However, I can give you a general understanding of these transits and what your sister might expect.
1. Rahu Mahadasha
Duration: Rahu Mahadasha lasts for 18 years, and it can bring both opportunities and challenges depending on how Rahu is positioned in the natal chart. Rahu is known for creating sudden changes, desires, illusions, and unconventional events. During Rahu Mahadasha, one can experience highs and lows in life, and it often pushes the individual toward materialism, ambition, and exploration of hidden or unknown aspects of life.
Marriage during Rahu Mahadasha: Marriages can be influenced by Rahu’s strong karmic influence. Rahu can create a non-traditional or unusual marriage situation, potentially attracting people who are different or from diverse backgrounds. If Rahu is well-placed, it can bring sudden and unexpected benefits in the marriage, but if poorly placed, there may be issues related to misunderstandings, illusion, or an over-focus on material desires.
2. Moon Antardasha (Sub-period within Rahu Mahadasha)
Duration: The Moon Antardasha within Rahu Mahadasha usually lasts for around 10 months.
Influence: The Moon represents emotions, mind, and inner peace. During Moon Antardasha, emotions become heightened, and there could be a lot of internal reflection. This period could bring emotional ups and downs, as the Moon is a sensitive and reflective planet, while Rahu tends to create instability. Your sister may experience inner emotional turbulence or confusion, especially if there are unresolved emotional matters.
Marriage during Moon Antardasha: The emotional side of relationships will be emphasized during this period. A marriage during this time may be emotionally charged, and there might be some degree of anxiety or emotional tension. If the Moon is well-placed, this can also bring deeper emotional bonding and caring, but if it’s poorly placed, it might cause emotional misunderstandings.
3. Rahu Pratyantardasha (Sub-period within Moon Antardasha)
Ending on 5th October: Rahu Pratyantardasha can bring some temporary tension, confusion, or unexpected events as Rahu is still dominant in this period. Since Rahu’s nature is to create unconventional scenarios, things might feel uncertain or chaotic leading up to October 5th. However, this period can also manifest as sudden breakthroughs or important realizations, especially if your sister has been working through any internal or relationship issues.
Impact on Marriage: Rahu's influence can make things feel unpredictable or even delayed during this time. However, once this period ends, the shift into Jupiter's pratyantardasha will bring more stability.
4. Jupiter Pratyantardasha (Starting from 6th October)
Jupiter's Influence: Jupiter is a very auspicious and benevolent planet, representing wisdom, expansion, and grace. Starting from 6th October, when the Jupiter pratyantardasha begins, there will be a marked shift towards stability, positivity, and blessings. Jupiter in transit can bring an optimistic outlook and good fortune in matters related to marriage, family, and spiritual growth.
Marriage during Jupiter Pratyantardasha: This is a very favorable period for marriage! Jupiter is known to bless relationships with wisdom, harmony, and mutual respect. It often helps in creating a solid, long-lasting union, filled with support and mutual understanding. The energy of Jupiter balances out the chaotic influence of Rahu, bringing more ease and flow to relationships.
General Impact on Your Sister
Before 5th October (Rahu Pratyantardasha): She may feel some emotional or mental turbulence until this period ends, and there could be unexpected or sudden events leading up to the end of the Rahu sub-period. There might be some internal confusion or anxieties about the upcoming wedding, but nothing that can’t be managed.
Post 6th October (Jupiter Pratyantardasha): The beginning of Jupiter's pratyantardasha is a very positive shift. It will bring her peace, wisdom, and the ability to manage the emotional sensitivities left behind by Rahu and Moon's influence. This period is likely to bring more stability, grace, and positive developments, especially in the context of marriage.
Will the Marriage Be Fruitful?
With the Jupiter Pratyantardasha starting just two months before her wedding in December, the overall energy looks favorable. The influence of Jupiter is especially supportive for marriage as it brings wisdom, growth, and commitment. If her natal chart supports Jupiter's strength, this could be a highly auspicious time for her to enter a marriage. Moreover, Rahu’s influence is tapering off, so any confusions or challenges will start to settle down by October, and the relationship should flourish with a sense of understanding and prosperity under Jupiter's grace.
Final Thoughts
Overall, after Rahu Pratyantardasha ends and Jupiter takes over, she is entering a more positive and balanced phase of her life. While Rahu Mahadasha might continue to bring its typical ups and downs, Jupiter will help stabilize her emotions and relationships, making the period from October onward more conducive to a happy and fulfilling marriage.
Ensure she stays grounded emotionally during this period and makes decisions with clarity and wisdom, which Jupiter will naturally support.
If you’d like, I can look into more details based on her specific birth chart for personalized insights. Wishing her the best for her wedding!

What is the easiest way to predict the year of marriage from your birth chart?
Predicting the exact year of marriage from a birth chart is challenging, as astrology provides more of a qualitative rather than quantitative understanding of life events. However, certain astrological indicators can offer insights into the potential timing of marriage. Here are a few key factors to consider:
Transits to the 7th House: The 7th house in your birth chart represents marriage and partnerships. Major transits (movements of planets through the sky) influencing your 7th house can be indicative of significant relationship developments. For example, transits of Jupiter or Saturn to the 7th house can suggest a period conducive to marriage.
Progressions: Secondary progressions involve advancing the positions of planets in your chart by one day for each year of your life. Some astrologers look at the progressed Moon, especially its aspects and movement through signs, for insights into emotional and relationship changes. Progressed aspects involving Venus and the 7th house ruler can also be considered.
Dasha System :In Vedic astrology, the Dasha system is commonly used to predict life events. Mahadasha and Antardasha periods can provide insights into specific themes in your life, including marriage. The Dasha of the 7th house ruler or planets placed in the 7th house could be significant.
Transits to Natal Venus: Venus is the planet associated with love and relationships. Significant transits or progressions involving your natal Venus might coincide with relationship developments. Pay attention to the conjunctions, squares, and oppositions to natal Venus.
Solar Return Chart: Some astrologers consider the Solar Return chart for each year, which is a chart cast for the moment when the Sun returns to its exact position at your birth. Look for significant placements and aspects in the Solar Return chart related to partnerships. Note:- It is important to note that while astrology provides a framework for understanding potential impacts, it does not determine events with absolute certainty. Free will and personal choice also play an important role in shaping the direction of one's life. Additionally, one can take the help of Kundli Chakra 2022 Professional software for personal study. More accurate and nuanced information can be found in your specific birth chart.

Understanding Navagraha Samithu: The Key to Balancing Planetary Energies
In Vedic astrology, the nine planets, known as Navagrahas, are believed to have a profound influence on our lives. These celestial bodies govern various aspects of our fate, personality, health, and success. To mitigate the negative effects of planetary positions and enhance the positive, rituals like the Navagraha Samithu are performed. In this blog, we explore the significance of Navagraha Samithu and how it helps in balancing planetary energies to bring harmony into your life.
What is Navagraha Samithu? Navagraha Samithu is a sacred offering or ritual performed to appease the nine planets in Hindu astrology – Sun (Surya), Moon (Chandra), Mars (Mangal), Mercury (Budh), Jupiter (Guru), Venus (Shukra), Saturn (Shani), Rahu, and Ketu. Each of these planets is believed to exert a specific influence on an individual's life depending on their position in the horoscope.
When the planets are not in favorable positions, individuals may face obstacles, health issues, financial problems, or relationship turmoil. The Navagraha Samithu is a potent remedy that helps in reducing these negative influences and balancing the planetary energies for personal growth and well-being.
The Importance of Balancing Planetary Energies: Every planet has a distinct role in shaping our lives. For instance:
Surya (Sun) governs authority, health, and career.
Chandra (Moon) influences emotions and mental peace.
Mangal (Mars) is linked with courage, energy, and aggression.
Budh (Mercury) represents intellect, communication, and decision-making.
Guru (Jupiter) brings wisdom, wealth, and spiritual growth.
Shukra (Venus) relates to love, beauty, and luxury.
Shani (Saturn) tests patience, hard work, and discipline.
Rahu governs materialistic pursuits and ambition.
Ketu is associated with spiritual enlightenment and detachment.
When these planets are out of alignment in your horoscope, they can create doshas or afflictions, resulting in challenges in different areas of life. Navagraha Samithu is designed to balance these energies and neutralize negative planetary influences.
How is Navagraha Samithu Performed? Performing the Navagraha Samithu requires following a specific set of rituals. It often begins with a purification process, followed by chanting of Navagraha mantras, offering specific items to each planet, and conducting homams (fire rituals) to invoke their blessings. The offerings usually include items such as grains, flowers, specific colors, and metals associated with each planet.
An experienced astrologer or priest performs the ritual, ensuring that the individual’s horoscope is properly analyzed to understand which planet needs attention. Through these rituals, the planets are appeased, reducing their negative influence and enhancing their positive impact on the individual’s life.
Benefits of Performing Navagraha Samithu:
Remedy for Doshas: Navagraha Samithu acts as a powerful tool to remove or minimize planetary doshas like Shani Dosha, Mangal Dosha, and Rahu-Ketu Dosha, which may be responsible for problems in career, relationships, or health.
Improves Mental Peace: By balancing the energies of the Moon and Mercury, the Samithu can help in improving emotional stability and mental clarity.
Enhances Career and Wealth: Appeasing the Sun, Jupiter, and Venus brings prosperity, professional success, and financial growth.
Strengthens Health: Weak planetary influences affecting health can be strengthened through Navagraha Samithu, ensuring physical well-being and vitality.
Spiritual Growth: This ritual can also help in attaining spiritual balance and inner harmony by working with the energies of Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu.
When Should Navagraha Samithu Be Performed? This ritual can be performed on auspicious days, preferably during planetary transits, or when major planetary periods (Mahadasha) and sub-periods (Antardasha) are causing significant challenges in an individual’s life. Consulting with a knowledgeable astrologer is essential to determine the most beneficial time for conducting this ritual.
Conclusion: The Navagraha Samithu is a powerful remedy to bring balance and harmony by appeasing the nine planets that influence your life. Whether you are facing personal, financial, health, or relationship issues, this ritual can be a key to unlocking positive energies and reducing the obstacles posed by unfavorable planetary positions. If you feel the impact of the planets in your life, performing the Navagraha Samithu under the guidance of an expert can lead to transformative changes.

How Planetary Periods Influence Career Progression
Vedic astrology, an ancient Indian science, offers profound insights into our careers through the analysis of planetary periods, known as dashas. These periods play a crucial role in shaping your professional journey, influencing opportunities, challenges, and overall growth.
Understanding Dashas
Major Periods (Mahadashas): These long phases, lasting several years, set the primary tone for your career. For instance, a Mahadasha of Jupiter might bring prosperity and expansion, while a Mahadasha of Saturn could introduce challenges that require perseverance and hard work.
Sub-Periods (Antardashas): Occurring within major periods, these shorter phases bring more specific influences. A favorable Antardasha can enhance career prospects even during a challenging Mahadasha, and vice versa.
Favorable Dashas
During favorable dashas, you might experience significant career growth, new opportunities, promotions, and overall success. For example:
Jupiter (Guru): Brings expansion, prosperity, and opportunities for higher education and travel.
Venus (Shukra): Enhances creativity, financial gains, and career satisfaction, especially in artistic and luxury-related fields.
Challenging Dashas
Conversely, the dasha of a challenging planet can introduce obstacles, delays, and hardships. For instance:
Saturn (Shani): Might bring periods of intense hard work, delays, and obstacles, but also teaches patience and discipline.
Rahu and Ketu: These shadow planets can create periods of confusion, sudden changes, and instability, demanding adaptability and strategic thinking.
Strategic Career Planning

What Your Birth Chart Says About Your Next Paycheck
Your birth chart, also known as Janam Kundali, holds a wealth of information about various aspects of your life, including your career and financial prospects. By delving into the intricacies of your birth chart, astrologers can provide insights into when you might receive your next paycheck and what factors influence your income. Let's explore how career astrology prediction can shed light on your financial future.
Understanding Wealth Houses and Planets
Significance of Wealth Houses
In Vedic astrology, specific houses in the birth chart are associated with wealth and financial matters. The second house, known as the Dhana Bhava, signifies accumulated wealth, assets, and financial resources. It reflects one's ability to earn, save, and manage money effectively. Additionally, the eleventh house, called the Labha Bhava, represents gains, income, and fulfilment of desires, including monetary rewards from career endeavours.
Role of Planets in Wealth Accumulation
Various planets influence wealth accumulation and financial prosperity in the birth chart. Jupiter, often referred to as the planet of abundance and blessings, is considered a significant factor in wealth and prosperity. Its placement and aspects in the wealth houses can indicate opportunities for financial growth and abundance. Similarly, Venus, the planet of luxury and material comforts, contributes to one's capacity to attract wealth and enjoy financial stability when positively positioned in the birth chart.
Assessment of Planetary Combinations
Astrologers analyse the placement and aspects of Jupiter, Venus, and other relevant planets in the second and eleventh houses to assess an individual's potential for financial success. Benefic aspects or conjunctions of these planets with wealth houses generally indicate favourable circumstances for wealth accumulation and income growth. Conversely, malefic influences or afflictions may suggest challenges or obstacles in achieving financial stability and prosperity.
Assessment of Dasha Periods
Planetary Periods in Vedic Astrology
Vedic astrology utilises dasha periods, also known as planetary periods, to analyse different phases of an individual's life journey. Each dasha is ruled by a specific planet and reflects a unique energy influence that shapes various aspects of life, including career and finances. Understanding the current dasha period in the birth chart is crucial for assessing potential timing for career advancements and financial gains.
Impact on Career and Income
Dasha periods play a significant role in determining the timing of significant events related to career and income. During favourable dasha periods, individuals may experience advancements in their professional endeavours, such as promotions, salary hikes, or new job opportunities, which directly impact their income levels. Conversely, challenging dasha periods may bring obstacles or setbacks in career growth and financial stability, requiring patience and perseverance to overcome.
Interpretation of Dasha Sequences
Astrologers interpret the sequence of dasha periods in the birth chart to forecast trends and developments in career and finances. The main Dasha period (Mahadasha) and sub-periods (Antardasha) of different planets reveal specific themes and influences affecting income and wealth accumulation during a given period. By analysing the planetary placements and their interactions within dasha sequences, astrologers can offer insights into the timing of significant financial events, including the receipt of a paycheck or financial windfall.
Impact of Career Houses
Tenth House Significance
The tenth house, known as the Karma Bhava or house of career, plays a pivotal role in determining one's professional pursuits, ambitions, and achievements. Its placement and planetary influences indicate the individual's career path, success in the chosen field, and potential for attaining status and recognition. A strong and well-aspected tenth house often signifies a fulfilling career and opportunities for growth and advancement.
Sixth House Dynamics
The sixth house, also known as the Shatru Bhava or house of employment, governs the work environment, daily routines, and service-oriented activities. Planetary influences on the sixth house reveal insights into the individual's work ethic, ability to handle responsibilities, and relationships with colleagues and subordinates. A harmonious sixth-house alignment fosters a conducive work environment and contributes to career stability and satisfaction.
Interaction with Wealth Houses
Career houses, particularly the tenth and sixth houses, interact with wealth houses, such as the second and eleventh houses, to influence income and financial stability. Positive alignments between career and wealth houses indicate the potential for earning through professional endeavours, leading to financial prosperity and success. Conversely, afflictions or challenges in career houses may impact income sources and hinder financial growth, requiring remedial measures to mitigate obstacles and enhance career prospects.
Transits and Financial Trends
Planetary Movements
Transits refer to the current positions of planets in the sky relative to the natal positions of planets in the birth chart. Astrologers analyse planetary transits to assess their impact on various aspects of life, including finances. Favourable transits of benefic planets such as Jupiter and Venus over wealth houses and income-related planets indicate opportunities for financial growth and prosperity.
Timing of Financial Events
Transit analysis helps astrologers predict the timing of significant financial events, including the receipt of a paycheck or financial windfall. By observing the movements of planets through wealth houses and their aspects to income-related planets, astrologers can identify auspicious periods for income growth and stability. Conversely, challenging transits may signify obstacles or setbacks in financial matters, necessitating caution and strategic planning.
Long-Term Financial Trends
Astrologers also consider long-term planetary movements and trends to assess broader financial developments and economic cycles. Major planetary alignments and configurations, such as Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions or eclipses, can have far-reaching implications for global economies and financial markets. Understanding these long-term trends enables individuals to make informed decisions regarding investments, career choices, and financial planning.
Remedial Measures for Financial Prosperity:
Career astrology prediction not only identifies potential challenges and opportunities in your financial journey but also offers remedial measures to enhance prosperity.
Gemstone Recommendations
Astrologers may suggest wearing specific gemstones associated with wealth and prosperity to enhance financial prospects. Gemstones like yellow sapphire (Pukhraj) for Jupiter and diamond (Heera) for Venus are believed to attract abundance and good fortune. By wearing these gemstones as per astrological recommendations, individuals can align themselves with positive cosmic energies conducive to financial prosperity.
Rituals and Prayers
Performing rituals and prayers dedicated to wealth deities and planetary gods can be effective remedial measures for enhancing financial well-being. Rituals like Lakshmi Puja, dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity, and Navagraha Puja, honouring the nine planetary deities, can help appease malefic influences and invoke blessings for financial stability and abundance.
Observing Vratas and Fasts
Observing vratas (religious vows) and fasting on auspicious days associated with wealth and prosperity can strengthen one's financial karma. Fasting on Fridays, dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, or Thursdays, ruled by Jupiter, can purify the mind and body and attract positive vibrations conducive to financial success. By observing these vratas with devotion and sincerity, individuals can cultivate a conducive environment for financial growth and prosperity.
Donations and Charity
Making donations and charitable contributions to worthy causes is considered a powerful remedial measure for attracting wealth and prosperity. Offering donations to temples, charities, or those in need can accumulate positive karma and invoke divine blessings for financial abundance. By sharing one's wealth with others and practising generosity, individuals create a positive flow of energy that enhances their own financial prosperity.
The Bottom Line
Your birth chart serves as a roadmap for understanding the various facets of your life, including your career and financial prospects. Career astrology prediction offers valuable insights into when you might receive your next paycheck and the factors influencing your income potential. By consulting with a skilled astrologer and understanding the dynamics of your birth chart, you can navigate your career path with confidence and unlock opportunities for financial success.

SATURN GOOD OR BAD AS PER VEDIC ASTROLOGY
In Vedic astrology, Saturn (Shani) is a significant planet with a complex influence, often associated with discipline, responsibility, delay, and karma. Its effects can be either positive or negative, depending on several factors in a person’s birth chart. Here are some key factors considered to determine if Saturn is "good" (benefic) or "bad" (malefic):
1. House Placement
Good Placement: Saturn is generally considered benefic in the 3rd, 6th, and 11th houses. Here, it often brings discipline, stability, and material gains.
Challenging Placement: Saturn may give more challenging results in the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th, and 12th houses, as it can bring struggles, delays, and hardships in these houses.
2. Zodiac Sign
Exaltation and Debilitation: Saturn is exalted in Libra (where it performs well) and debilitated in Aries (where it may create more challenges).
Own Signs: Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius, where it is more comfortable and generally performs positively.
3. Aspects and Conjunctions
Aspect with Benefic Planets: If Saturn has aspects or conjunctions with benefic planets like Jupiter or Venus, its malefic influence can be softened.
Aspect with Malefic Planets: Conjunctions or aspects with malefics like Mars, Rahu, or Ketu can intensify Saturn's harsh or restrictive qualities.
4. Dasha (Planetary Periods)
During Saturn’s Mahadasha (main period) or Antardasha (sub-period), its influence becomes more pronounced. A well-placed Saturn can bring career growth, structure, and stability, whereas a poorly placed Saturn may lead to setbacks, delays, or health issues.
5. Nakshatras (Lunar Mansions)
Saturn’s position in certain nakshatras can alter its effects. For example, in the nakshatra Pushya, Saturn tends to give more auspicious outcomes. Saturn in more intense or difficult nakshatras like Ashlesha or Ardra can bring challenges.
6. Saturn's Position in Divisional Charts (Vargas)
The placement of Saturn in divisional charts like the Navamsa (D9) and Dashamsa (D10) can further refine its impact, particularly in areas like career and spiritual life.
7. Aspects on Other Houses and Planets
Saturn's special aspects on the 3rd, 7th, and 10th houses from its position can influence different areas of life. Its aspect on a benefic house can stabilize and give structure, while its aspect on a malefic house can amplify challenges in those areas.
8. Retrograde and Direct Motion
When Saturn is retrograde, its energy tends to turn inward, and it often brings delayed results or challenges in areas it governs. Retrograde Saturn can sometimes lead to introspection and karmic re-evaluation, which can ultimately be beneficial if lessons are learned.
A benefic Saturn usually brings structure, responsibility, and lasting rewards through hard work, while a malefic Saturn may lead to obstacles, delays, and restrictions.
Saturn's influence is perceived as good or bad depends on how it interacts with other planets and factors in the birth chart. A well-aspected Saturn can bring structure and success, while challenging aspects may indicate difficulties or delays that require patience and perseverance to overcome.
Therefore, a strongly placed Saturn is not always good or bad, but rather a mixed blessing. It can give the person a strong character, but also a heavy burden. It can help the person achieve their goals, but also test their endurance. It can teach the person valuable lessons, but also make them suffer. The key is to balance the positive and negative aspects of Saturn, and to use its energy wisely and constructively.
Its overall influence is determined by examining the chart holistically and considering the factors above in relation to other planets and signs in the natal chart.

Ketu Mahadasha Effects and Remedies
In Vedic astrology, the Ketu Mahadasha is a significant period ruled by the planet Ketu, also known as the South Node of the Moon. The Mahadasha is a major planetary period that lasts for 7 years in an individual's life, and it holds considerable influence over various aspects during its tenure. Ketu is considered a spiritual and mystical planet, and its effects during the Mahadasha can be both positive and challenging, depending on its placement and conjunctions with other planets in the birth chart.
Here are some key points about the Ketu Mahadasha and its effects:
Duration: The Ketu Mahadasha lasts for 7 years, making it a relatively shorter planetary period compared to others like Rahu or Jupiter.
Spirituality and Detachment: Ketu is associated with spirituality, detachment, and liberation. During this period, individuals may experience a heightened interest in spiritual pursuits and a desire to detach from materialistic pursuits.
Transformation: The Ketu Mahadasha can bring significant changes and transformations in a person's life. It is a time for inner growth and self-discovery.
Introspection: This period encourages introspection and self-reflection. It may lead individuals to question their beliefs, values, and life path.
Past-Life Influence: Ketu is believed to represent the accumulated karma from past lives. Its Mahadasha can bring karmic events and lessons for the individual to learn and grow from.
Subconscious Influences: Ketu governs the subconscious mind and can bring hidden fears, anxieties, and unresolved issues to the surface for healing.
Sudden Events: Ketu's influence is unpredictable, and during this period, sudden events or unexpected changes may occur in various areas of life, including career, relationships, and health.
Mystical Experiences: Some individuals may have mystical or paranormal experiences during the Ketu Mahadasha. Dreams and visions may become more vivid and spiritually significant.
Potential Challenges: While Ketu's influence can be spiritually uplifting, it can also create challenges, such as a feeling of detachment from worldly responsibilities or difficulties in maintaining stable relationships.
Remedies: Astrologers may suggest specific remedies based on the individual's birth chart to mitigate the negative effects and enhance the positive influences during the Ketu Mahadasha. Remedies can include prayers, meditation, charitable activities, and wearing specific gemstones.
It is essential to remember that astrology is a belief system, and the impact of planetary periods may vary from person to person. Not everyone will experience the same effects during the Ketu Mahadasha, and individual experiences may be influenced by their overall birth chart and planetary positions. Consulting with a qualified Vedic astrologer can provide personalized insights and guidance during this period.

Talking about films, The Shawshank Redemption feels like a Saturnian film to me. As I near the end of my Shani Mahadasha, I reflect on the lessons of Saturn. The lead character's life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit mirrors how Saturn punishes you for past karmas, making the Mahadasha itself feel like being in jail—constantly monitored, living in fear of punishment, and doing thankless jobs, all while questioning what you did wrong. Throughout his prison life, he faced significant challenges that would traumatize anyone. However, he had to keep his head down, work honestly, do his daily chores, and consistently dig his tunnel for 19 years, one step at a time. In the end, his perseverance paid off—he escaped and took the illegal money he had laundered for his warden as a finance guy, reaping the rewards for his honest efforts. Time moves very slowly during this period, often leaving you lost in your thoughts, reassessing your entire life by recalling and reflecting on past events. To distract yourself, you must stay busy with physical or mental activities. For every wrong action, he was sent to 'the hole,' a solitary prison with no light, signifying even harsher punishments for wrongful acts during Saturn Mahadasha. You can’t live freely during this Mahadasha; any attempt to do so is met with external resistance. Reflecting on my time during this Dasha, I realized the many similarities between the film and Saturn Mahadasha. It just clicked one day, and I felt like sharing. Overall it's no doubt an uncomfortable period but brings on massive and permanent character development
😭😭😭BESTIEEEE 😭😭😭
Shawshank is one of the first "grown up" films I watched in my early teens and it had a very profound impact on me. So seeing you mention it and compare it to Saturn MD really hit home 🥺
Thank you so much for sharing 🥺
I'm curious about where your Saturn is??
Everybody experiences their dasha differently so I hope nobody's discouraged reading this. It does not have to be as brutal. It can be but honestly through great difficulty, we achieve greatness ✨ nothing in life is easy and if you must suffer, you can suffer during any dasha. But that said, yes, Saturn is a tough one.
It reminds me of the song One of the Girls by Jennie, The Weeknd & Lily Rose Depp. All three of them have Vishaka in their big 3 and that song is super Vishaka/Jupiter coded
When Jennie sings "top of the world but I'm still not free, this is a secret that I keep, until it's gone, I can never find peace, waste my whole life, just to be" ,, she was talking about Saturn mahadasha ya'll 🤣🤣🤣😭
The lyrics really hit home because for the majority of Jennie's career, she was actually going through her Saturn MD and she's also Saturn atmakaraka and girlie has truly endured so much 😪

The Black Swan Strikes Again
And it’s not over yet!
Not by a long shot!
Expect another shift starting on Sunday or early next week.
So let’s start off with Trump since he is POTUS. The above shows transits from Tuesday, 29 September, when Saturn went direct after being retrograde since May. (Inner square is his chart, outer square shows the transits.)
Saturn stationed at 1:11 Capricorn directly opposite his natal Saturn, which is at 00:42 Cancer, and his natal Venus at 2:38 Cancer.
Saturn rules his 6th and 7th houses. Venus rules his 10th house/career. Both Saturn & Venus are in his 12th house. (Leo ascendant with Mars in 1st house.)
Jupiter is transiting Sagittarius currently. (You can see it in the bottom left-hand corner.)
Because Jupiter is aspecting Leo, Trump’s ascendant, via its trinal aspect (5th & 9th houses from where Jupiter is placed) until November 20th, I don’t think Trump is at risk of dying before the election. I suspect he’ll be fine. When Jupiter moves into Capricorn on November, then Jupiter will be aspecting Taurus, where Trump’s natal Sun is placed. Sun rules Leo, so this can still protect him. I still believe that Trump will finish out his term, which will end on 20 January 2021 at noon.
Back to Saturn stationing at 1:11 Capricorn, which as I just mentioned is directly across from Trump’s natal Venus. Venus is the indicator of marriage and wife. Saturn’s stationing across from his natal Venus probably isn’t a good sign for Melania. As I mentioned with Jill Biden earlier this year, Pluto stationed at 0:51 Capricorn on 26 April 2020. That’s within a degree and a half opposite Trump’s Venus. Likely Melania will probably be more impacted by the coronavirus. At least within the next few months.
There is a total solar eclipse that happens on Trump’s natal Moon within a couple of degrees on 14 December 2020. Hard to say exactly at this moment what that could portend. The Moon rules Trump’s 12th house and is an indicator of the mind, mother, the public in general, and females. By that time I believe he will already have lost the election. Not entirely sure that the eclipse is specific to Trump’s personal life or the country (USA) in general since he is the chief executive (President). Perhaps it’s both. We’ll probably have an idea of what is likely to happen by the time we get to the end of November and beginning of December.
I don’t normally like to talk about minor’s (kid’s) charts, but I think it’s important to take a look in this case. Barron Trump--the youngest Trump kid at age 14--is now running his Mercury mahadasha/time period. Mercury is placed in Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra/lunar mansion. One of the symbols of Purva Bhadrapada is a funeral cot. (Purva Bhadrapada is the front legs of a funeral cot while Uttara Bhadrapada symbolizes the back legs of a funeral cot.) The funeral cot is, obviously, a symbol of death and that life is temporary.
Barron started his Mercury-Mercury period on 26 December 2019. There is also a lunar eclipse in his 4th house/Taurus on 30 November 2020. His natal Mars isn’t specifically eclipsed this time. However, given that it’s happening in the 4th house and there are some not-so-good transits happening to Trump’s natal Venus, I do suspect something will probably happen to Melania. Perhaps she may end up becoming seriously ill with covid. I’ll be honest, it doesn’t look particularly good because Barron has his Venus, which is lord of his 4th house/mother, in the 12th house of loss. Also, his natal Moon, the indicator of mother, is in Scorpio, its sign of debilitation.
Honestly, given the current news and events, I feel bad for the kid. He may lose his mom within a year, and then he’ll probably lose his father a year or two after that. Or sooner. Regardless of what you think of the Trumps, Barron is a 14-year-old kid who may lose one or both his parents within the next couple years. Or sooner.
Moving on to the Bidens.
Yes, I know their current test results are negative. However, false negatives have a higher rate in the first few days of infection. If that changes in a couple days, such as Sunday or Monday, don’t be surprised.
We’re going to start with Jill Biden.
Now, Jill Biden has the same exact problem with her natal Venus that I described with Trump above. Her natal Venus is in the range of 2:29 to 03:31 Cancer. We don’t know the exact degree because we don’t know her birth time, which is why the time is listed as 12:00 (noon).
Just to recap, Jill had Pluto station within three degrees of her natal Venus this May. Given Joe Biden’s age, this is not a good sign. Pluto, signifier of transformation & transubstantiation, is commonly known as the lord of death. Saturn just stationed at 1:11 Capricorn on Tuesday, 29 September, opposite her natal Venus. Saturn isn’t the most positive planet to have station opposite the planet that signifies marriage (Venus). Something happening to Jill’s marriage partner within one year of Pluto stationing opposite that natal Venus is completely possible and--given Joe Biden’s age & condition--likely. Pluto made that station while going retrograde on 26 April 2020. IF Joe Biden passes away before 26 April 2021, I will not be surprised.
These are Joe’s transits from Tuesday (29 Sept), which is why the Moon is in Aquarius. (Transits are in the outer layer.)
Joe Biden is a Scorpio ascendant, which means his ascendant lord is Mars. Mars is currently retrograde in Aries. Mars will move back into Pisces on Sunday. This Sunday, October 4th. That is significant because currently Jupiter is aspecting Mars in Aries. (I noted “Jupiter” in every sign that it is aspecting from Sagittarius.) Jupiter is currently protecting Joe Biden. That’s going to change on Sunday when the transits look more like this.
Mars will move into the last degrees of Pisces starting Sunday, just after midnight EDT. Mars will be in an unfortunate position called gandanta. “Gandanta” means “knot’s end” but is associated with drowning, either metaphoric or literal. The first 3:20 of fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and the last 3:20 of water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) are gandanta areas. Gandanta in a water sign tends to be more significant, particularly with “drowning.” Last degree of water sign tends to be the worst though.
Starting Sunday, Joe Biden’s ascendant lord Mars will be gandanta and not protected by an aspect of Jupiter. That’s why I’m not confident in the Bidens’ currently negative coronavirus tests that are making the rounds. Things are probably going to change next week.
These are transits to the USA’s chart. Shit might hit the fan Monday morning, so to speak, when the Moon moves into Taurus, which is occupied by Rahu (north node of the Moon). Likely this will agitate things. Totally expect cable news to be going batshit crazy next week. Moon won’t move into Gemini until around midnight Wednesday night/Thursday morning.
However, to me one of the more significant things is that both the USA’s ascendant (Sagittarius) and the USA’s natal Moon in Aquarius will be hemmed in by malefic planets. This is called papa kartari yoga. Basically, think of it like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Fenced in is another way to think about it. It doesn’t make things impossible, but it’s going to suck for awhile until things change. It requires more effort to be positive and do positive action. The USA’s natal Moon is hemmed in by Mars in Pisces and Saturn in Capricorn. Sagittarius is hemmed in by Saturn in Capricorn and Ketu (south node of the Moon) in Scorpio.
The papa kartari yoga won’t be broken until Venus moves into Scorpio in the afternoon of Thursday, 10 December. We will have a nice Venus transit in Libra before that, but still, by the time we get to 10 December, we’ll be in the middle of the last eclipse season of the year.
Batten down the hatches, y’all. Crazy times and The Long Night of the USA are upon us.

Difference between Vedic Astrology and Western Astrology
Accuracy may be based on your perceptions. In terms of the mathematical calculations, both Western Tropical and Vedic Sidereal are accurate if the free online astrologer has applied the correct formulas for whatever chart or whichever purpose is served.
The impact of the celestial bodies on the lives of human beings on earth is known as Astrology. The planets, zodiac signs, and houses are all an inevitable part of astrology. Astrology in India is one of the oldest known studies of heavenly bodies. It is known as the Vedic Astrology which evolved in around 5000 BC. Western Astrology, Chinese Astrology and Horary Astrology are also well known forms of Astrology.
Are Vedic astrology and Western astrology different?
Yes, Vedic Astrology and Western Astrology are quite different from one another. While western astrology works on the study of horoscopes, best Vedic astrologer in India makes predictions based on placements and transcends of planets and stars. Let’s have an insight into the difference between the two astrology systems.
Astrological calculations
Vedic astrology is based upon Jyotish Vidya, where the position and movement of celestial bodies are calculated. It takes into account the real positions of planets and stars with respect to certain celestial bodies that remain fixed or permanent in the same position. This system is also known as Sidereal Zodiac.
Vedic Astrology (also referred as Indian astrology) was promoted by ancient astrology specialist in India. They passed on their knowledge and wisdom to generations. Later, this was recorded in written form and became the core of Vedic astrology.
Planets and signs ruler ship
Vedic astrology anticipates the events in a person's life taking into account planets like Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. It is believed that Uranus and Neptune are insignificant for astrological calculations as they are too far. So, their placement and movement do not create any impact on natives. Free astrologer in India looks at the date, time and place of birth to design the Kundli, which gives an idea of the nakshatras and Mahadasha. The Vedic astrology chart is always square in shape.
Western astrology is also referred to as Tropical Zodiac. This system was evolved around 2000 years back by the Greeks and the Babylonians. According to this system, the Sun is believed to be the most significant as it is at the centre of the solar system. Sun has a great impact on the planet earth. The Western Astrology assigns a sun sign to the natives according to their birth date. The western astrology chart is always circular in shape.
Zodiac signs and constellations
Western Astrology: Western astrology has twelve zodiac signs such as Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.
Western Astrology includes planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto to predict future, which is not considered by Vedic Astrology. Besides, Western Astrology does not consider constellations (Nakshatras).
Vedic Astrology: On the other hand, Vedic astrology signs have twelve Rashis such as Mesha, Vrishabha, Mithuna, Karka, Simha, Kanya, Tula, Vrischik, Dhanu, Makara, Kumbha, and Meen.
For calculation top astrologer in India make use of 27 lunar constellations(each one covering a span of 13 degrees and 20 minutes), called Nakshatras namely Ashvini, Bharani, Kritika, Rohini, Mrigashira, Ardra, Punarvasu, Ashlesha, Magha, Purva Phalguni, Uttara Phalguni, Hasta, Chitra, Swati, Vishakha, Anuradha, Jyestha, Moola, Purva Shadha, Uttara Shadha, Shravan, Dhanishta, Satbhij, Purva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada, Abhijit and Revati.
