no unironically i think heart did nothing wrong

it takes ages to dig a grave by hand, and i don't think heart can just summon an excavator. and it's snowy too, isn't it, from night? "a glow in the snow". digging every day in the frozen ground, to give a proper burial to your other half. a proper send-off, more than he'd give you

in dungeon meshi, there's a thing where you can't actually die in the dungeon unless your body is reclaimed by the ecosystem of the dungeon. kill the sun, give his body back to the earth {atlas?}, and let apollo finally escape the loop. a mercy, an end to the hell you're both trapped in. at least he could be free. it's clear that this plan caught mind off guard, so i don't think things ever escalated this far in a previous loop, that heart never goes for the killing blow. juno's tried violence before, but it never works

heart, sick of mind being overbearing but well-meaning, trying to find a way to end the loop, gets it in his head that this is how they get out. he needs to slay the dragon (i double down on draconic mind. he's a bumbling dragon). he was just trying something new, avoiding insanity by trying something new to get different results
