Hello! I've been doing a retrospective on the Junjou Romantica anime and I stumbled across your blog while looking for info on the stage play (rip). I just wanted to ask, are there a lot of active fans for this series online? I know s3 was in 2015, and to my knowledge the is no official translation of the manga in English past #12, so I assume there is not a lot of content to go off of. When did you get into JR? What motivates you to participate in the fandom? Ik that was a lot lol but thank u!

I’m happy to say that the JR fandom is still very active and thriving! There’s tons of posts every day in the JR tags and there’s a pretty big Discord server for JR & SIH with over 300 people in it.

I got into JR in the Spring of 2017. I just finished watching Yuri On Ice during that time and was really wanting to watch a show similar to it, which is where I discovered JR & SIH. I watched both and was instantly hooked. I re-watched it everyday and read the whole entire manga in the span of like 3-4 days. But because no one else I knew watched shows like JR & SIH, I couldn’t talk to anyone about it, so I decided to look up some JR tags on Tumblr and saw that the fandom was still active and had a decent sized following and decided after a while to make my account be solely for JR & SIH.

Honestly my motivation to participate in the fandom still is because 1.) There’s still SO many people here on Tumblr who actively keep up with the latest chapters/fandom in general so seeing all these people coming together to share their love for JR really inspired and still inspires me to keep posting about it and 2.) I have such a strong love and appreciation for this fandom that even that alone motivates me to post about it. I’ve met so many incredible people because of this fandom and it feels so amazing to see so many other people share their love for this amazing series. 💜

Sorry for the very late reply. I have subbed the entire season 1 of Junjou Romantica too. Just that I’ve done this a long time back but I will be releasing a full torrent with season 1 and 2 on nyaa. Just that I’m currently a bit busy with subbing Mo Dao Zu Shi Audio Drama, so once I get some more time I’ll releasing this torrent again.

Regarding S3, Horrible Subs have released the Crunchyroll/Funimation rips of this season and the videos have very good quality. That’s why I haven’t subbed this season. You can fetch S3 from === here <===

I did a free trial of Hulu today and saw that they had so much more anime than Netflix and they had Junjo Romantica S3. I started watching it back when it was new but I was so mad at how it was going that I stopped after ep 6.

Picked it back up today... Spent 4 hours watching it all....

I. Wanna. FUCKING. SCREAM

I know it’s been done for 2 years and I’m late to the game, but I’ve thought about picking back up the manga but all of season 3 (for the Romantica storyline) is just a retelling of season 2. All of this has been done and said before in season 2 and how S3 ended differently is making me wanna keep reading to scream some more.
