Alhamdulilah everything went smoothly. Both Farhan and me would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. No words can describe how grateful and thankful we are. You were more then just a mak andam to us.

You went the extra mile to send all the baju and accessories personally to the guy side a day before our nikah all the way from west to east. Then on the Saturday morning, while putting on make-up, it was like a mini make-up session for me. Can you imagine a professional make-up artist that is infront of you..yups your mak andam happily share about her skills and products. I’m not sure about others but I was shocked when you even share with me about why you use a different kind of foundation and so on. Somehow it gives me a sense of assurance that I am with good hands.

On our sanding day..you came early and your first question was to check if I had my breakfast yet. She worries more about me being hungry rather than her having lesser time for make-up. I can still remember the moment when I sit at the pelamin. You stand straight infront of me with a glass of ice water. That moment was the best, you asked me to drink slowly and take my time. That was the only moment that I manage to rest, drink and refresh. Awesome ah..its like when you stand in front of me, the whole world pause and I manage to get few precious minutes to rest. You helped us a lot.. taking a break from the non-stop photo taking moments, keeping track of our time, manage how we walk, how we pose and everything..

Thank you so much kak juls and your husband, kak ita for helping us with the dresses and more. From the very first day we meet to book, the fittings we had and our big day. When we saw your previous work on your other brides, we fall in love with your make-up. & indeed, you work your magical fingers on me.Your make-up was simply awesome that my parents, nieces & relatives could not stop talking about it. Not to mention, the hair-do. & Kak Juls is someone who is very easy to work with. Despite being so tired just before & during the wedding, your amazing service just puts me at ease & made the tired feeling go away. Pairing you up with the awesome photography & videography team from Diziq just made everything fun even though I do feel awkward with some of the shots. Of course, Sydi was more natural than I am. Hehehe. Your assistant also made the whole environment livelier than it already was. Just thinking of the two days puts a smile on my face. Here is the testimonial!

The first step we took in our whole wedding process was the choosing of the Mak Andam.

What brought us to JulsDSweet were the variety of clothes and the flexibility of sizes for your brides you take upon. We also loved your makeup from your albums and read up testimonials from previous bride and grooms.

When we first met you in 2012, we thought it was too early to meet up to talk about the bridal makeup enquiries. Fortunately for us, you patiently explained thoroughly the details of what wedding preparations were like. We were so stoked that we decided to go with you without any hesitation. We knew you would be able to cater to what we wanted.

Fitting: Even though Serra was a plus size at that time, you allowed her to choose from such beautiful collections. Problems arose but you constantly reminded us that it’s important to select the outfits WE wanted. Constant criticism did not damper your spirits while we carefully explored the selections you offered. When we had doubts for Baju Akad Nikah chose for the first fitting, you allowed us to change it without any qualms. During final fitting, you heard Serra out about her accessories preferences. Remember she told you she didn’t want sanggul and crown? In the end, she changed her mind when we saw so many pretty looks from the previous weeks’ brides. They looked so gorgeous after being dolled up by you. Alhamdulillah, Serra was convinced and decided to put on a crown and sanggul even though she thought she couldn’t pull it off. J Special thanks to Kak Rosita from Accessorize Bridal for making the alterations for the wedding outfits!

Wedding day (Serra’s Point of View): I absolutely loved the way you make me up. You did not make me cry at all while applying the eyelashes or when you applied eyeliner. That was so opposite of what happened during my makeup session with other makeup artiste. I loved that you took the time (even though was a short and pressuring time) to contour my face, to color my lips, to make me look like a princess during akad nikah. When I wanted to cry, you helped calm me down. When meeting Shakir to sarung cincin, he was so surprised at the transformation. Ya Allah, the Sanggul, so pretty, my mum actually cried at how pretty you dolled me up. J Alhamdulillah, I was so happy with the final outfit when you catered to a different look that I was going for (like a vampirish look).It’s so pretty that until now I wish I was back on that day you helped me makeup.

With the extended hours you helped me doll up and followed for my photo shoot, thank you so much! Even coming to my house with your assistant as early as 8am to get me ready for my 11am sanding. Alhamdulillah, all went well.

Your optimism, bubbly personality and dedication to your profession make you an exceptional Mak Andam. Your presence always allowed Shakir and I to express ourselves freely and you are easy to work with.

Wow it's been 3 weeks since my wedding! Time flies or what? Finally got the time to gather my thoughts. Sorry if it's a little late! ;P

First of all, Ridhwan and I would like to thank you for your awesome service. From day 1, you have been warm and friendly to us. Not forgetting Abang Im too. Always giving us advice along the way. I still remember you advising us to just stick to our budget and not be easily tempted with shiny new things. Biasalah lumrah manusia, kalau nampak benda baru & cantik, mesti tempted gitu kan hehe. So thank you for that reminder Kak. Cos at the end of the day, it's not about how blingbling your outfit is. It's about how comfortable you are.

Speaking of being comfortable, I'm naturally quite a reserved person. But when you came to my house on the morning of my nikah, I felt very much at ease as I knew that you would definitely take care of me. I will not forget how I giggled everytime you finished my makeup. I just couldn't believe how different I looked! I think you were amused too haha! (Dah kenapa dengan budak ni ketawa sorang eh?)

Our 2-day wedding event went by smoothly like a breeze. Why not, when we have awesome orang kuats who know what they're doing. Even my bridesmaids were in awe of you. Of how friendly and kecohrable you are towards everyone. It's very heartwarming to know that they were comfortable and happy working with you too. :)
