I made a weird comment on someone’s tiktok and they made a respond video with the “will I get over it? Hmm no.” Sound and I got really scared that people were gonna get mad at me so I blocked the creator and everyone who responded to my comment then deleted my account (with over 600 drafts and thousand of favorited videos and a bunch of community and swiftie moots, and all my friends) and then had a panic attack and didn’t think about anything else for three hours then got a one hour break from the anxiety cause I distracted myself by watching community but now I’m back to panicking and I’m actually scared I’m gonna do something I’ll regret

“I’m excited to meet them Phoebe they sound awesome” you say to your best friend Phoebe who has been talking your ear off about her other best friends Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus.

“They’re the best people ever and so are you so I know you’ll get along” she affirms opening the door to Lucy’s house.

When you step in you’re immediately met with the sight of Lucy- tall, black haired and gorgeous with a kind smile on her face. “Hi I’m y/n! You must be Lucy Phoebe’s told me so much about you” you smile.

“Yeah I am” she grins “and Phoebe’s told me so much about you it’s nice to finally meet you!”

“All good things hopefully” you laugh.

“Well mostly about your different travels, being a journalist must be so interesting” she grins bringing you into a kitchen, where a shorter brunette is sitting at the table. “This is Julien…who for some reason is being awfully rude” Lucy laughs and playfully hits Julien.

Julien rolls her eyes “Maybe I’m doing something better than making small talk right now” she snaps.

Lucy and Phoebe both exchange a look of confusion and worry at the unnatural behavior.

You spend some time getting to know Lucy and you guys really click- meanwhile Julien was making dinner in the kitchen and brings in three plates- one for Lucy, phoebe and herself. She looks at you “oh…you’re joining us for dinner…?”

“Uh I don’t have to sorry” you say flushing red in embarrassment.

Phoebe grabs your arm “you’re staying cmon I’ll go make your plate.” She leaves the room leaving you between Lucy and Julien. “So uh Julien you grew up in Tennessee I did too!” You try to make some conversation.

“Hm where?” She asks barely looking up from her book.

“Nolensville right outside of Nashville” you smile.

“Oh so Daddy’s money huh yeah me and you can totally relate about our experience growing up in Tennessee” she snaps.

You’ve always had a bit of a temper and had no clue why this girl didn’t like you. You had had 3-4 interactions all where you know you had been pleasant. “What’s your problem with me” you snap.

“Me? I don’t have a problem with you I genuinely could care less about anything you have to say. Why are you expecting everyone to fawn over you” she’s put her book down and is fully glaring at you.

“Whatever- it was nice meeting you Lucy you’re very nice to talk to” you storm out of the room and to the kitchen. “Hey Pheebs I’m leaving” you state.

Phoebe frowns “Ok..that’s fair” she walks you to the door “but I promise she’s not like this like ever you came at a really unfortunate time she’s going through it today uh I can’t tell you but I mean trust me.” You’re usually understanding but today Julien just rubbed you the wrong way “Ok. Whatever. Text me tonight” you smile at her giving her a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

4 days later

Phoebe had texted you about going to this after party of some premier with her which you had agreed to. You put on a red dress and a muted red lip and met her in the car. You opened the door and immediately clenched your jaw. The passengers seat was taken…by none other than (a very attractive looking) Julien who’s smirking. “Back seat” she curtly says.

You roll your eyes but you were not letting this girl ruin your night and sit in the back seat with Lucy.

The after party was anything but glamorous it was in some rich douchebags house who clearly had “Im rich and everyone’s gonna know it” money. You go to the kitchen to get yourself some water when you feel a hand wrap around your waist. The owner of the house. He grins “hey sweetheart I haven’t seen you before.”

You awkwardly say “uh yep I’m a friend of Phoebe…”

He smiles “well it’s my pleasure to host you here this is my apartment you know.”

You nod “yeah I like it.”

He grins “no I mean the whole apartment building is mine I own it.”

Internally you roll your eyes and are trying to ignore him caressing your waist and side “cool.”

He pulls your arm slightly towards the direction of the stairs “but I’ll gladly show you more of this apartment specifically…the bedroom is my favorite.”

“No I’m seriously good thank you.”

“Stop being a prude cmon” he pulls your arm harder. “You’re in MY apartment.”

“Get the fuck off of me creep” you snap.

His face darkens and he gets closer to you “say that again bitch.”

You were rightfully pissed and were straight up gonna say it again when you heard “is everything ok sweetie?”

It’s Julien.

She says again “I was looking for you everywhere baby c’mon.”

The man steps back and you grab Julien’s outstretched hand and she walks away with you.

“Thank you so much I really appreciate it.”

“Don’t mention it- he’s an asshole I’m kinda done with this whole party I’m gonna sit in the car if you wanna come with” she mentions.

You nod and follow. You thought that maybe you’d have some emotional chat in the car but it’s silence she’s reading something and you’re on your phone. But hey..it’s something…perhaps she’s not an asshole.

- if we are saying that reader is basically hayley williams (not physically) so let’s say they were dating a guy for a really long time, and reader wrote songs after the breakup of how shitty he was (dead horse by hayley says hello!!!) so imagine julien listening to the tracks and being like “i can treat them so much better” and phoebe and lucy just giggling over it
