Up to this point what is your total vision of Gilbert's character, what do you think of his personality, history and his development. Personally, he is the best built and most striking character, basically the perfect boyfriend, he is very dependent on Violet and I think much more than Violet on him, also what do you think about his enigmatic and false family, I think it is false because he seems alone keep an image. I DEMAND AKATSUKI KANA TO WRITE A COMPLETE SAGA ABOUT THIS FAMILY (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻

That's too much to talk about. XD He's very complex. I can't summarize my thoughts on him into just a few paragraphs. It'd turn into a full-ass essay, lol. But in short, I absolutely love this man. He's one of my all-time favorite male characters.

I think they're equal in that regard. And every other regard. They're just so similar it's not even funny.

Well, Gil clearly loves his family, no matter how twisted and toxic it is. There are three things in the world that he loves unconditionally, and his family is one of them. I love Julia, and I'm sure I'd love Henrietta and Diane too. Of course, I also love Dietfried. Don't know what to think of their mom, don't really care about their dad. And yes, I'd love to have a story about them!

The Bougainvillea Ball - PART 2

All chattering and movement ceased when the door suddenly opened. The most awaited head of the Bougainvillea is here at last, but what stunned them the most is the god like woman beside him. No matter how one look at it, the golden haired beauty possess an impressively rare features. Also, her natural charm outshines every women inside the ball, making most of the men bewitched at the sight of her.

Silence engulfed the entire ball as they walk together. The way Gilbert guides her is incredibly gentle. It is very obvious that he held that woman so dear, just by looking how soft his stern look becomes when he glances at her.

"Gilbert, what took you so long? And...who might she be?"

Madam Bougainvillea already knew who she was but did not want to acknowledge it. She only looked at Violet with a wary look.

Upon noticing that stare, Violet bow gracefully at her and said,

"My name is Violet Evergarden. It's been my pleasure to meet you."

It was very elegant and dignified like. All of them were mesmerized by her. There is no doubt that she'll be the main star this evening.

The Madam smiled flatly at her as she introduced herself as an 'Evergarden'.

"Likewise."

She looked at her son in an almost troubled look

"My, It was very kind of you to accompany your cousin. It was indeed an admirable act. Now that you're here, I shall introduce you to the fine young maidens."

The Madam clapped her hands to motion the musicians. The music started, a cue in which the dance is about to start. Most of the people were dancing already. Gilbert on the other side, calmly arguing with her mother while Violet is being entertained by someone who approached her.

"Violet! You came! I miss you!"

A woman blissfully hugged her in the middle of the crowd.

"It's been a while. I hope you're in good health."

It was no other than Henrietta, the second daughter of the Bougainvillea. Her voice is loud enough to attract the nobles inside the ball. It doesn't even bother her even if she is currently being dreadfully glared by her mother.

"Come with me! I shall introduce you to my lovely sisters!"

Henrietta drag her away and ran towards her sisters. Her actions seems kind of bold enough for a woman of noble birth and to add it all, they are the ones who stood out the most.

Gilbert noticed the sudden disappearance of Violet and was about to go and find her but some stubborn elder woman wouldn't let him go.

"Mother, I already told you, didn't I? I love her and I don't need anyone other than her."

Just by talking with her gives him a terrible headache. Just how much will he be able to convince such mother?

"You simply cannot do this! The reputation of the Bougainvillea family is at stake!"

Although, the conversation of the two are quite heated, the tone of their voice is amazingly low.

"My decision is final."

"Listen to me, you fool!"

But Gilbert didn't listen. He simply turned his back at her and started walking away. Madam clenched her fist and tried to compose herself as she is seething in so much anger.

Meanwhile, Violet is having a ladylike conversation with the three Bougainvillea sisters. Apparently, she looks quite pleased while talking to them because her icy looks unbelievably warms up like a glowing sunshine.

"Brother... Is that kind of person?" Diane, the youngest curiously asked.

"Yes. Lord Gilbert is that kind of man."

Violet told them in an almost dreamy tone. Her reaction is very cute as it struck the eldest, named Julia. The gesture that she made surprises them all. Julia gleefully pinched the soft cheeks of the blushing Violet.

"My, you are so adorable. Now I see why brother has a gentle look kuku."

The Violet who didn't like being treated that way, surrendered her cheeks to the three of them. The sight makes one wonder if the golden haired woman is being bullied or being worshipped.

"Indeed. Oh, speaking of which, where is that foolish brother?"

"It seems that he is currently being held by mother."

"Well, that sucks..." Henrietta absentmindedly replied. The eldest tried to confront the sister for saying such words but Violet interrupted for a moment.

"Lady Henrietta isn't bad. She is but a soft-hearted friend of mine." 'Aww'. The three were quite touched by her sincere innocence.

"Violet..." A gentle voice called out to her and was surprised when someone enveloped her waist to his.

"Lord Gilbert?"

"Ah, may I intrude for a while? It appears that you're all having a good time." Smiling broadly like he had never done before.

"Absolutely!!!"

"Brother, what took you so long?"

"I've been asked by some ladies to dance with them...but I kindly declined. I am proud that my time is completely occupied by Violet." His slight like intimate tone is not something that a Bougainvillea head should possess but the sisters found it quite endearing.

After interacting with his sisters, Gilbert escorted Violet to the dance floor and had a splendid time with her, not caring about the judgeful glances that's being transmitted to them.

"I have an announcement to make." He shouted in a low and stern tone, making everything engulf in a deafening silence.

"I, Gilbert Bougainvillea, chose Violet Evergarden as my Countess Bougainvillea. If there's anyone who would dare to disapprove, then I suppose, you are all ready to face my wrath." Firm and determined, gaze that seems to burn with blazing fire.

These are some of the times where Gilbert is proud of belittling the people who are below him, as someone who possess a higher status in the pyramidal hierarchy. All in order to protect the woman he swore to love for the rest of his life. All in order to stop them from tampering what was left behind.

All in order to break the fiery curse in the Bougainvillea clan.

This is one of the marvelous event in which, another Bougainvillea heir destroyed the so called 'tradition' of their prestigious clan.

All in order to be with Violet Evergarden.

I’ve been spending a lot more time in the garden lately. Spring is starting to show herself and I can’t contain my excitement! I will say that very few bulbs have begun emerging, but that’s OK. I did wait until January to sow them, so it’s sort of what I expected. Let’s just say I’m VERY prepared for next spring...

I decided that I was tired of seeing the sad Echium Pride of Madeira out of my front windows. It was in a bright shade area with a moist soil, possibly the only place short of a lake that an echium will grow in. I decided to move it to the defunct apiary (RIP) where I know it’s going to get 5-6 hours of sun and guaranteed neglect of watering. In the giant holes that was left I transplanted the Phlomis and blue Salvia, two shrubs that will be much happier with less sun and nice damp root systems. Finger crossed the echium survives 🤞🏻 For moral support I moved the family jewels milkweed alongside it. I didn’t like how awkwardly that shrub was growing on the mound, and I noticed it has a pretty ugly winter presence. I figured it might be best as a backdrop. Both of these are now living between the greenhouse and the scented garden. I’m also really excited for the Ketchup & Mustard rose that Julia picked up for me from Miller Farms. This rose reminds me of my dear friend Kelly who passed away in 2015, she was so excited to share it with me when I visited her. I bought it for James for Valentines Day in homage to my grandparents Grammy & Papa, who bought live roses for their anniversary every year instead of bouquets that die.

The greenhouse is my new best friend, where all of my seed dreams are coming true. I couldn’t believe the success I’m having with the single petal dahlias- who knew?! One disappointment was with the Rose Red Soba buckwheat. It’s very successful, but it’s not the coastal buckwheat with the red pom-poms that I thought— it’s actually a cover crop. Since it’s pollinator friendly I’ll sow it in the front yard as a filler and nitrogen fixer. The sunflowers woke up wayyy early, but I think this is good because the wind always beats the crap out of them in late summer. My hope is to get them in the ground for a mid-summer show 🌼🌼🌼 Finally, I threw in some Thai basil, Fantasy mix Dianthus, Billy Buttons (!!!), onions, and French marigolds. Totally psyched to see how these turn out.

While weeding today I made a really happy discovery: my hollyhocks self-sowed! I now have 4 established hollyhocks along the sun bed, and around 3 seedlings that naturalized. I know that seedlings tend to be heartier, so I’m stoked. I’m also pleased that this means I will have some stock growing for next years blooms, which is the hope for biennial plantings. On that note, I also discovered some foxgloves have volunteered themselves over by the studio. It’s just one, but it sure is happy! Last year my disappointment with the side garden was that there were many shrubs, but not enough delicate flowers to guide your eye along. My solution last fall was to sow a 6-pack of foxgloves throughout, and I am so glad I did so. They’re bulking up beautifully and will put on a really elegant show this year. I’m also on the hunt for some old fashioned snap dragon seeds, the ones that grow to be 3’ tall. I inherited one from Jeannie out in Patricks Point and it grew to be taller than me! I was so in love with that plant my heart broke when it inevitably died off. Now that I have a greenhouse I’m going to sow a BUNCH of them and sprinkle them around the garden.

I read an article recently that talked about the best way to maintain soil health. They said it wasn’t necessarily all about your amendments. Part of the solution is maintaining healthy neighboring plants. This goes hand-in-hand with my weed extermination plan: choke them out. This is going to be my first year with 2 year old plants and established ground covers. I’m excited to see how we manage against the bindweed. Judging by the spaghetti-looking root systems I unearthed while transplanting the meadow rue, the war will likely wage on....but hopefully someday I will have a maxed-out ground cover that keeps those suckers at bay.

There’s always something to do in the garden, so I think my posts henceforth with include a to-do list. Short-term goals keep your hands in the dirt where they ought to be!

ZHUHAI, China (AP) — Second-seeded CoCo Vandeweghe opened the WTA Elite Trophy with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over Chinese wild-card entry Peng Shuai on Tuesday.

Vandeweghe overcame a slow start and two service breaks in the first set, recovering to finish with six aces and converting five of her eight break-point chances in the Bougainvillea group.

“I wasn’t really making good contact with the ball, wasn’t really making enough balls in court, and I was just very sloppy at the start,” Vandeweghe said. “That allowed her to start well into the match, and I just had to keep fighting my way back.”

Seventh-seeded Julia Goerges beat No. 10 Magdalena Rybarakova 6-1, 7-6 (5) in the Azalea group, while fourth-seeded Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova defeated Angelique Kerber 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 in the Rose group.

My English is very basic, and I don't have this aap and I don't know how to use this blog, but here we go. How do you think they are and what relationships do Gilbert's sisters have in VE?

Omg. I love this question. I'm lowkey obsessed with the Bougainvillea family because of how little info we have on them. So thanks for sending this! Here we go~

Julia: Actual sass queen. From her letter to Gilbert, I could feel how smart and snappy she is. Knows what she wants in life, takes no shit from anybody. Educated, capable and badass are the vibes that I got from her. If the line of succession were decided by meritocracy rather than being passed down to the eldest male son, I'm willing to bet that she'd be the family head instead of Gil or Dietfried, lol.

I'm not sure what "relationships" refers to here, so I'll just analyze the five siblings + Violet.

She's the leader of the sister trio, if there's any hierarchy in it. I sense a boss here. A bossy princess, maybe, but a sensible one, if you will. Perhaps with a touch of remorse from being able to marry for love while her sisters might not have the same luck.

We saw that she's always gotten along well with Gil, which goes for the two other sisters too, but maybe not so well with Dietfried. I think they might've had disagreements, since they seem like polar opposites. Julia appears to be as dutiful as Gil, but not the least bit lenient. Dietfried's total disregard for his own responsibilities and all the injustice imposed on Gil might've gotten on her nerves.

As for her relationsip with Violet, she was told about Violet by Laurus and Gil before-hand, so she already had an idea of what to expect. Since she was willing to get along with Violet from the very start, I think Julia would be the first of the sisters to warm up to her. Violet hardly starts with the right foot when meeting people for the first time, but even if she happens to give the wrong impression at the beginning, I'm sure they'd soon start getting along.

Henrietta: I believe the second sister is the nice, innocent one. Probably the one who keeps the trio together. Perhaps she's also the one who's more shackled by the orders from her elders than anybody else.

If she's as good-natured as I think she is, she must be faint-hearted as well. This might've made her an easy target for bullying from Dietfried. If he can do it with Gil when they're in their late 20's, he definitely did it with his little sisters when they were kids. Cue more anger from Julia. Gil was probably especially soft on her.

I think Henrietta would be a little freaked out when hearing the truth about Violet and her relationship with Gilbert. But I also think she's the one with the biggest heart out of the three, so although it'd probably take a bit of convincing, my guess is that it wouldn't be long till she accepted Violet. Either that or Julia would be the one to need some convincing from her, lol.

Diane: This one. This one would be the black sheep. My guess is she's annoying but lovable, kinda like Ann. The cliché little sister archetype, but with a touch of genius to her. It's her fucking city, bitches.

There's a big age gap between her and the others. She never met her father or Dietfried, so she hasn't experienced even half of what her other siblings went through. She most likely has single child syndrome, lmao. Gil probably spoils this attention seeker rotten and she loves it.

Diane is at least 13 years younger than Gilbert, so she's only 2 years older than Violet at most. Her older brother marrying someone almost her age probably doesn't look good in her eyes. Plus, she's the one who has spent the least amount of time with Gil out of all four siblings. She might have the feeling that Violet stole him away, just like Ann with her mother. Violet would have to win her over. And she'd definitely succeed. No catfights involved, though. It'd probably go a lot smoother than the way Charlotte had to handle Damian's sister, for example. I bet it'd be funny as hell to watch.

Vow of Everlasting Love - PART 3

After the wedding ceremony, A grand banquet was held at the main mansion of the Bougainvillea to celebrate the union of Gilbert and Violet Bougainvillea.

The whole place was covered in joyous laughter. Their friends and families gave them a short and meaningful messages, making the couple tearfully happy. The two shared a lovely and intimate dance in the center of the crowd. The sparkle in their eyes are evident and it was truly magical. Violet sang a song and played the piano as a sign of gratitude for everyone. People began complementing her talent and viewed her as a perfect masterpiece.

Everytime they interact with the guests, Gilbert cannot help but hug Violet tightly where he happily earned a blush. He simply wants to be alone with her right now.

After making sure that everyone is busy, Gilbert suddenly carried Violet like a princess and escaped the crowd like a mad man. Those who noticed the sudden disappearance of the two began laughing hardly.

"Gilbert, I did not know you're that eager to be alone with her. Ah how time flies." Hodgins hysterically laughed.

"Brother Gil is indeed a pervert fu fu I can't wait for a cute angel to be born already!" Henrietta squeeked in delight.

"I want the baby to look a lot like Vi!"

"I couldn't agree for more HAHAHA."

Gilbert stopped in front of a slightly big door. Violet who was clinging on his neck, reddened, as she recognized Gilbert's room. He locked the door once they're inside the room and slowly went to the bed where he gently put her there in a sitting position.

"Are you scared?"

"That's not it. The love that I continue to receive from you is too overwhelming, to the point I end up thinking that this is just a wonderful dream." She said in a teary face. Gilbert smiled at her cute reaction. His forehead touches hers while he fondly caress her back.

"Violet, this is not a dream. You are now my Mrs. Bougainvillea, my one and only wife." His heart pounded loudly when Violet suddenly kissed his lips and giggled softly at his reaction. He was too shock to respond. She too, caressed his cheeks and said,

"Yes. You are now my husband. And, it is my duty as a wife to give you a child. No, I simply want a child with you, Lord Gilbert. I...I wanted to love you more deeply. Will you accept my scar-ridden body?" She said in a sad voice. Gilbert was surprised and at that moment, a single tear escaped from his eye, making Violet alarmed.

"Oh no! Did I say something wrong." Gilbert shook his head, kisses her soft lips, and hugged her in a very affectionate manner.

'Forgive me. I caused all of that. Please punish this foolish husband of yours, for I can't help but love you more and more and more.' He thought while he stares into her deep ocean eyes.

"Violet, you are the only woman that I desire and no matter what form you take, I will simply accept all of you. You are far more beautiful than the existence of life itself. I love you, my wife." The words that he conveyed made her heart burst in so much happiness.

"I am glad." She sheepishly smiled while they kissed.

At that moment, the two desperately declares their love for each other as they danced in unbearably heat. As the two finally became one, the passion, desire, lust and overwhelming love that has been stored over the years is making them drowned in the wildly beautiful world of euphoria. With that wonderfully spectacle performance, Gilbert happily spilled his heated sperm deep inside the womb of his beloved wife, as they gladly wish for a child to be born, as a testimony for the love that they have for each other.

5 years later...

"Good morning, sweetie. Are you hungry?" Gilbert asked his 5 years old daughter whose name is Violace (Vyo-la-say). She sleepily nod at him and rest her cute head into his shoulder once again. Gilbert is currently carrying her with his arms while they wait for Violet who is in the middle of the labor.

He is excitingly nervous because this is Violet's second labor. He vividly remember the day when his wife gave birth to Violace. It was one of the happiest moment of his life, where he joyfully shed waterfall of tears while lovingly thanking her for giving him the most precious gift of all.

From that moment on, he sincerely promised to be a better father for his children, where he will grant them the cherishable love, unconditional support and freedom that they deserve. After all, He and his wife went into trouble just to change the Bougainvillea family. It was a success as they were able to create a friendly, caring, and lovable family.

"Just wait for a minute while we wait for everyone to come, okay? I already contacted them a while ago to bring us food to eat." He gently told her while caressing her fluffy golden hair. She adorably smiled at him and said,

"Okaaay. I love you, daddy." He gladly muttered his I love you's to his daughter while he hugged her. 'Such a sweet child.' He thought.

Their adorable moment was cut short when someone called out to them.

"Gilbert! Little Violace! Uncle brought you your favorite food!" It was Hodgins who brought A LOT of food and behind him are the Evergarden couple and his grown up siblings.

Violace's face brightened at the sight of them. I put her down and when they stopped in front of us, she elegantly greeted them with a charming smile, making everyone surprised and it seems like they too, were struck by her charm. After all, she looks a lot like Violet.

Violace Bougainvillea, the first born of the main household. Her features is like of a godly beauty from the mythology world and skin as as white and delicate as a porcelain doll. Violace got her dazzling golden hair from her mother while she got the piercingly beautiful emerald eyes from Gilbert. Her speech and intelligence is remarkably advanced. Her posture and manners as a prominent lady is extremely commendable as her grace is not of a child. After all, she is the daughter of Violet and Gilbert. It is possible to have a gifted child.

Julia kneeled in front of her and said, "Oh my...my niece grew up as a charmingly beautiful lady. Are you excited to meet your new sibling?"

"Yes. I am truly happy. I can't wait to hold my baby sibling." She cheerfully giggled in delight. They can't help but smile for her emotions are beautifully rich. As they still saw a child who possess pure innocence and childishness within its eyes.

Violace grew up being supported by her parents, the Bougainvillea's, the Evergarden's, and the CH Postal Company. They are glad that she grew up without having to suffer as an 'asset'.

Violace is indeed the hope and pride of the 'new' Bougainvillea family.

The door suddenly opened and it revealed a doctor. Gilbert frantically asked if they're both okay. The Doctor laughed at his amusing reaction and said,

"Congratulations, Mr. Bougainvillea. Your wife gave birth to a healthy twins." The sudden announcement brought shock to all of them. Violace's eyes sparkled and joyfully cheered, "Yaaay! I have twin siblings hihihi!" The pure excitement is evident to the child.

"Twins, you say?" Gilbert hoarsely whispered as he was about to cry.

"That's right. Twins. The first one is a boy while the second one is a girl. Congratulations once again. You may all go inside."

He cried once again, not caring for the people who will see him cry. He is currently happy right now, for the love that he have for wife blossomed once again. A tiny hand gripped his pants, he kneeled and smilingly stared at the same emerald orbs that he have. He was about to say something when Violace suddenly brushed away his tear and hugged his neck.

Everyone watched the heartwarming scene of father and child. One could say that Gilbert is truly a lucky man because in the end, he finally found his happiness.

"Daddy, If mommy saw you cry, she will definitely get sad. I will also get sad because I don't want you to feel sad. For now, let's meet the new members of our family."

Gilbert hugged her once again for he is happy to have a daughter like her. They went inside the room first. Everyone who just arrived told him, they'll go inside after a minute or so just to give them a little privacy.

When they went inside, the two saw Violet affectionately carrying the two beautiful new born babies. Violace ran into her mother and kissed her cheek. Gilbert went to his wife and kissed her forehead while silently thanking her once again.

"How have you been, mommy? Are you alright? Do you want anything from Violace?" She continuously asked her mother. Violet gleefully giggled at her first born and said.

"Don't worry, my dear child. Do you want to hold him or her?"

"Absolutely!" Violace delightfully carried her baby sister first before her baby brother. The two babies giggled.

"They got father's navy black hair while they're eyes is the same deep aquamarine eyes as you, mother." She voiced out in amazement while caressing their soft hands. She let out an adorable gasp when both of them held their sister's finger. The couple fondly laughed at the scene. Violet and Gilbert stared at each other's eyes and silently conveyed their love and promise.

'I will love you all until the end of time.'

Passiflora incarnata, or purple Passion flower, is definitely one of my favorite butterfly plants. It is a larval host for the gulf fritillary, the zebra longwing, the Mexican and Julia butterflies- and it is just so, so cool to behold. They’re kind of hard to come by around here, unless you grow them from seed (the squirrels make that a challenge). I planted this one along my fence, and it is using the bougainvilleas to climb. most of the questions are about Gilbert's fiancée. First, how do you think Your Excellency's story would unfold if Gilbert had married her? second more or less than how is she? We don't know much, except that he was from high society. Third, how would the Bugambilia family get along with her family after the incident? Fourth, it is not known if Gilbert had more promises or at least has suitors? Fifth, what would she think if she found out that Gilbert got married?

and tenth, did Gilbert or Julia talk about Violet with their family?

Okay, that’s a whole lot of questions, omg.

1) I’m not sure. I guess Gil would’ve found a way to have her run away with her butler after the war and later get secretly divorced.

2) I have no idea. The only info we have about her is what’s written in the novel.

3) I guess they’d be on bad terms but I think Gil would make sure that his fiancée’s family didn’t take the fall for her, because that isn’t fair.

4) Nope. He probably didn’t have time for it, since he started serving in the military as soon as he graduated from the academy.

5) I think she’d be happy for him.

6) Well, Gil would’ve had to talk about her at some point. XD

When Gil takes Violet to his sister Julia's wedding to introduce Violet to his family. Do you think they will reject her at first or will love her? As for me, I think they will love her

I think some would fall for her and some would find her creepy, but all of them would either end up liking her or be unwilling to do her any harm even if they don't like her much. Just like everyone else she meets.

Since Violet and Gilbert got married in the later novels, do you think the army knew about it? I am honestly more curious as to what happened in Julia's Wedding. What did the ever prideful bougainvillea relatives do to Violet and what did Colonel Gil do about it? Too many unconfirmed information....

From the description of how it went, I think only Laurus was invited out of Gil's colleagues.

Honestly, I don't think they'd do anything too bad to her, given that she'd have Gil and his sisters as a shield. Also, Violet's adoptive family is literally related to them. They can't badmouth her when she's just as rich and was educated in the same way as them. Not to mention that she's basically a celebrity and acquainted with tons of famous people from various fields. Let's not forget that she took part in the war, so she's got credits even if Gil never tells anyone that she's an actual war hero. It'd be really fun to see anyone try to give her any sort of bullshit, just to get completely obliterated in, like, ten seconds flat by her curriculum.
