Have you ever felt like a Supporting Character in your own life? What if you really are one...?

What an inventive concept. Creating a universe of characters and story elements based on all sorts of classes of roles and movie components. Outtakes, out-of-synch voices, cameos, miscasts, jump cutter, and many more. It's like one big meta movie.

The lead character though is somewhat of a problem. Sure, she's a "supporting character", but the naïveté of her is at times a little hard to take.

The film also falls a bit too much in love with its concept. It goes on for too long. But it's still highly original and well worth a watch.

I was slightly disappointed there were no outtakes during the end credits.

( what if melanie's spirit got trapped in somewhere like purgatory so she's not actually able to communicate with the living or with any of the dead realms. i'm thinking the demons that possessed/haunted her in her final moments on earth did that to her in order to stop the secret from getting out, to stop max from finding out who he was. but unlucky for them max is too smart for you, L + ratio + fuck straight back off to hell <3 )
