PET PEEVE.

Decided to watch a GERMAN show on DisneyPlus last night and they didn't have the option to show it with the original german language and english subs. I could only watch it with english dubs, and that is just terrible. Seeing everyone speaking just out of sync the entire time because the languages don't match up almost made the show unwatchable. Don't know if I can finish watching it. :(

The Ordinaries [trailer]

Have you ever felt like a Supporting Character in your own life? What if you really are one...?

What an inventive concept. Creating a universe of characters and story elements based on all sorts of classes of roles and movie components. Outtakes, out-of-synch voices, cameos, miscasts, jump cutter, and many more. It's like one big meta movie.

The lead character though is somewhat of a problem. Sure, she's a "supporting character", but the naïveté of her is at times a little hard to take.

The film also falls a bit too much in love with its concept. It goes on for too long. But it's still highly original and well worth a watch.

I was slightly disappointed there were no outtakes during the end credits.
