Jules and Lassie's friendship has me feeling soft y'all. Shawn and Gus have their own traditions and inside jokes and I bet that Jules and Lassie start to develop the same things. They go out to eat together and have movie nights at each other's places every week. Jules lets Lassie infodump about US history and guns as long as he wants and Lassie (begrudgingly) lets Jules paint his nails. They chat about all the latest gossip in the SBPD and gush over their crushes together. They tell each other (almost) all their secrets. Lassie stays with Jules 24/7 after the clock tower and comforts her when she and Shawn temporarily break up. Jules is one of the only people to see Lassie truly break down and cry and she holds him for as long as he needs and tells him that they're going to be okay. They have their own jokes that nobody else gets that they whisper to each other and giggle at. They laugh until neither of them can breathe. They hug each other every morning when they arrive at the station and when they leave, and casually hold hands. They started out as just coworkers but by the last few seasons they are basically platonic soulmates, parallel to Shawn and Gus. And I love that. I love them.

To cap off this pride month, a few of my queer headcanons for Carmen Sandiego (2019) characters!

I headcanon Player as a trans boy and Carmen as a trans woman! I also definitely think Carmen's sapphic but I don't have a more specific identity in mind for her.

Julia is a lesbian ofc. Her shirt is inspired by this retro lesbian shirt! If I had seen it before inking I would have made it an actual shirt with a collar and all but alas I saw it too late.

And I headcanon Devineaux as a trans man. His jacket was heavily based on this vintage jacket, obviously with the colors reworked. That's his new lucky coat probably.

(I have headcanons for other characters but since they're less fixed I won't talk about them here)

Wow, i couldn't believe that the Grand National Assembly of Sordland are a bunch of racists bigots. I mean how dare they shut down the bill and doesn't give the bill a chance and being voted to the assembly. They are clearly blinded by sollism and patriotism. What a crying shame to this assembly. What's the plan now since most of the Grand National Assembly immediately shut down the bill? Retry and such?

i can't believe the bunch of legislators i had to wine, dine, bribe, and fight tooth and nail with to get them to go with my 'let's help the people that need it' reforms shot down my bill to keep helping the people that need it! who could have seen that coming! obviously not me!!!!

well, my first plan was to abolish democracy and bring the bill back from the dead, but nia is not gonna like that, and that's a line i'm not going to cross. i know she's disappointed as well, cause she really felt this cause was important, but she would never stoop so low as to remove the rightful will of the people. i wonder how she's taking this...
