in no way would this be healthy (emotionally or... physically, the guys are both kneeling here) but LR is a fantasy with horror elements, how are you gonna expect Avra to be normal enough in a relationship to be healthy?

Misogyny is not the only axis of oppression btw. I know a lot of you say "well if it was _ they would never be okay with it" or "misogyny is the only oppression not taken seriously!" Like ding dong wrong.
Your circle not being complete shitheads doesn't mean the rest of the world is the same. And let's be honest, your wonderful circles that aren't racist or ableist or etc are those things. It's just shit you don't notice cos you're not in that class or cos you're not fully aware of everything or whatever because this is shit you deprogram from yourself your entire life not in 2 days or 2 years or 2 decades.

Astrology Observations
Side notes: I’m in no way a professional astrologer, nor do I claim to be. Im forever a student and learning. These are my OWN personal opinions, and observations. But, if you don’t agree with something or think that it’s wrong, it’s fine, just please be kind, and respectful! This is also my first astro post so it’s gonna be short! Please excuse any mistakes. Please don’t copy. Thanks!
༻In my mom’s tropical solar return chart, in the same solar year that I was conceived and born, she had Pluto (planet of major transformation) in the 5th house (the house of children)
༺Jupiter (planet of expansion) was in the 5th house (house of children) in her Lahiri SRC
༻Even though the Lunar return chart focuses on our inner world every month, I do believe that it can predict events.
༺The month I was born my mom had Ceres (Asteroid of fertility and motherhood) in Libra in the 5th house at 8 degrees in her lunar return chart.
༻Could be a coincidence but Asteroid #4580 Child was also in Aries in the 11th house at 5 degrees there in her lunar too. I’m an Aquarius Sun who is Aries dominant in Sidereal, My Sun is in the 1st house, and the sun is my second most dominant planet in my tropical chart. I was told that I was expected to be an Aries Sun, but I came out prematurely.
༺On top of that, In her Lahiri SRC that year, Asteroid child was in Aquarius at 11 degrees in the 4th house. I’m an Aquarius Sun, Rising, and Cancer moon
༻Her natal Jupiter which is the planet of expansion was sextile Asteroid child LR
༺Her Uranus in the 8th house and it squares her Mars that was in the 5th house house in her Lahiri LR the month I was born too.
༻Her Uranus which rules unexpected events was sextile Ceres and as I said before, I was born early. Her Pluto was also conjunct Ceres.
༺In my 2020 SRC I had a Sagittarius stellium, and 9th house stellium. I traveled out of town via plane for the first time.
༻I also had an 11th house stellium that included my sun and mercury and became quite popular online for the first time
༺That year I had an Aries ascendant which explains me experiencing “firsts”.
༻I also had the ruler of my 6th house (which was Virgo which is ruled by mercury) in the 11th house and being online communicating with friends that year was a big part of my daily routine
༺My mom’s sun degree is my moon degree
༻Most straight Taurus sun men that I’ve met love women with a feminine appearance, and traits for the most part, but also want them to be independent (which is seen as a masculine trait). I also noticed that some are really judgemental when it comes it women. Like they expect all women to be feminine and if you’re not you’re “manly”.

vibrating in my chair over the fact you're writing a fic that touches on Willow and Amity's friendship. even if it didn't get super explored in the show their dynamic is truly SO interesting. the fact they sincerely care so much for each other and are trying so hard but STRUGGLING just gets to me and it always makes me sad when conversations about it get hostile toward Amity. as a fellow Willow lover and Amity enjoyer i am clapping like a seal in excitement over getting to see your thoughts
YES!! I love them and this thing that they have with each other!! It's messy and tense and complicated but there's love there!!
I don't blame people for being disappointed with Willow and Amity's LR subplot but I was disappointed that criticism towards the subplot overshadowed what an interesting and believable conflict between them that it established.
Willow and Amity are both such troubled girls who have unfortunately developed in a way that directly contrasts each other and puts them at odds.
I can empathize with Amity's absolute trainwreck of an attempt to make her relationship with Willow feel natural again. She's a socially stunted, painfully awkward, emotionally clumsy and unintentionally judgemental girl. She was brought up in an extremely self-superior environment. Of course its gonna take her some time to unlearn all of the things she has internalized.
She overcompensates because its all she knows how to do and it makes things so much worse. She's too busy seeing the bigger picture and assigning herself a role in Willow's life (the protector. Amity is a huge acts of service kind of gal.) to actually stop and look at Willow for a moment. It's so sad. She's too busy preserving the past to live in the present when it comes to their friendship.
And Willow!! Willow is bad at communicating!! Even Gus advised her to simply TELL Amity how uncomfortable this treatment was making her feel, but she insisted that it was fine. Willow, despite how far she's come, still isn't fully able to stand up for herself. At least not to her friends. Sometimes it's hard to stand up to your friends.
Willow's repression leaks out when it comes to Amity. She doesn't like conflict. She doesn't like tension. She wants chill good vibes all the time because Jesus Fucking Christ, she's been through enough and she's exhausted. But also!! She's sensitive!! And she has a temper!! So no matter how much she TRIES to pretend things are all good, she's inevitably gonna explode in a burst of pent up rage.
Its not like there's no glimmers of true genuine love in their interactions. Like the hair braiding scene. They are so happy and content in each others' company. Willow was the one who asked. She was the one who wanted to have this moment. She WANTS this friendship with Amity. And sometimes it is so nice and makes her so happy.
She just wishes it could be like this all the time. She wishes it wasn't also so difficult.
They love each other!! They're not very good at it but they love each other!!!

i know a lot of people take the two day gap between incident and apology as a "they only did this because we pressured them", but personally i just cant get behind the idea that an immediate apology is inherently more genuine than one with a delay of a couple of days. idk, maybe its just me, but immediate in my mind means someone is saying sorry without taking any time to actually process why people are upset or how they can try to remedy the situation.
this isn't me trying to make a judgement on how sincere these specific apologies are to be clear, and im not trying to push anyone towards accepting them who hasnt, it's just something i want to put forward in context of like.... broader online accountability culture, and how we think about apologizing
hm yeah no that makes sense.
i took it to mean that they were just, unaware of the drama, and replied when they realised the uproar caused.
but no, i agree actually, sometimes, replying immediately is worse.
like, that comes across as you're just apologising because you feel like it'd get people off your back. not always! but with celebs lr influencers or whatever, that's what i tend to think.
i guess the wait can be interpreted a few ways. we'll never know either way.

Inverted Head Four Annas 1854
( The Curious Case of An Upside Down Postage Stamp )
Inverted Head Four Annas Stamp of Eighteen Fifty Four
Merely showed coming events cast their shadows long before !
Survey Office Calcutta of the Mighty Brit Empire
Lithographed octagonally a Die Printing Entire
The frame was red the head was blue the head of Queen Victoria
Some illiterate native workman goofed up in his euphoria
On Day One of the Operation the red frames were imprinted
And left to dry so that next day the blue head could be printed
October the Thirteenth of Eighteen hundred Fifty Four
Was that first day and all went well on that Oriental shore
October the Fourteenth however proved another matter
Perhaps the first day’s concentration had begun to scatter
At least six sheets with the red frames were turned top down and then
The Monarch’s head in Royal Blue was added by workmen
The head was not inverted, mind, it was in fact the frame
And yet the end result was upside down heads all the same
No offence meant, it was all done quite inadvertently
And proof that it was so is before us historically
For although two million six thousand forty stamps were printed
It was a score of years before someone so squarely squinted
That they could see the mistake and ensure in the reprint
Of Eighteen Ninety One the stamp was right and fresh as mint
EA Smythies has noted that the issue came to light
In London Eighteen Seventy Four’s Philatelic Oversight
LR Hausberg has mentioned it in Nineteen Hundred Seven
Mr Sefi a year after Nineteen Hundred Eleven
Three cut to shape examples are in the Tapling Collection
At the British Library, London, in all their flawed perfection
Including two (positions three and four on the printed sheet )
On cover indicating that detection was complete
The error was created by an incorrect sheet placement
Rather than careless die transfer, that is the final judgement.
In all, now , only twenty-eight examples can be found
That can be certified as genuine, valuable, sound.
Valued today at one million and seventy thousand dollars
These stamps can leave many collectors hot under their collars
A stamp that at the time was not worth more than dime or quarter
Has got back its revenge today in international barter
Imperialism has been made to stand upon its head
And forced to issue repeated apologies instead.
Therefore I say Inverted Head Stamp Eighteen Fifty Four
Merely showed coming events casting their shadows before !

The Interpretation of Sponsoring a Relative
FAMILY CLASS•
JAN 20, 2020
•
BY: KATHARINA KONTAXIS [CICC ID: R512662]
The four-year court battles around the “lone Canadian” provision of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, SOR/2002-227 (IRPR) finally ended. Find out how the outcome may affect you.
The uncertainty around whether the sponsor’s specified family members must be deceased before the sponsor is allowed to sponsor a generic relative is over.
Overview
Before February 17, 2016, case law had consistently interpreted paragraph 117(1)(h) of IRPR as a provision that permitted the “lonely Canadian” to sponsor a “remaining relative.” Yet Sendwa v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2016 FC 216, 39 Imm LR (4th) 328 [Sendwa 1] created the only split in the interpretation.
Background
The backstory was discussed in my previous article “How to Sponsor a Relative to Canada?” at myconsultant.ca. The legal dispute was breaking news in 2016 when the Federal Court released Sendwa 1. In that decision, a single Federal Court judge found that the historical interpretation was too restrictive. Hence, Judge Michel M.J. Shore ordered the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada to reconsider its decision on this issue.
On December 2, 2016, the Immigration Appeal Division ascertained that its decision was correct as the lawmakers did not intend to include the sponsor’s financial inability to sponsor listed family members in deciding eligibility for this type of family sponsorship cases.
Following rejection at the Immigration Appeal Division, Ms. Thelca Sendwa sought leave (permission) to appeal the decision before the Federal Court. The court dismissed the appeal by finding that the traditional interpretation is correct.
Federal Court of Appeal
Briefly, the matter went to the Federal Court of Appeal which resolved the legal dispute and ended four years of uncertainty. The court dismissed the appeal, attempting to overturn the lower court judgement upholding the Immigration Appeal Division’s decision. In other words, the court ruled that the conventional interpretation is right and Sendwa 1 is wrong. Consequently, a panel of three Federal Court of Appeal judges unanimously dismissed the appeal with costs on December 17, 2019. Subsequently, the court released its decision on January 6, 2020. However, the decision was amended to: appeal dismissed without costs on January 13, 2020.
Specifically, the court decided in Sendwa v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2019 FCA 314 that paragraph 117(1)(h) of IRPR allows a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to sponsor a relative of any age, if they do not have a living spouse, partner, child, parent, grandparent, sibling, nephew, niece, uncle or aunt who is a Canadian citizen, Indian or permanent resident, or who they may otherwise sponsor as a member of the family class.
Furthermore, David G. Near J.A. cited Bousaleh v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2018 FCA 143 [Bousaleh] in paragraph 20 as follows:
… It explicitly held that “[u]nder subparagraph 117(1)(h)(i), the only thing to consider is whether or not such a listed relative exists” (at para. 56).
The court continued in paragraph 21, stating that Sendwa 1 was wrongly determined as the wording “may otherwise sponsor” does not expand the operation of the provision to permit a sponsor with closely related family members to sponsor one distant relative regardless of age.
In the end, the court gave the following reasons for its decision in paragraph 23:
In any event, I am of the view that, in accordance with the principles of statutory interpretation and the case law prior to Sendwa 1, the fact that the appellant’s parents were alive at the time that she sponsored her niece is in itself determinative of the appellant’s inability to sponsor her niece under section 117(1)(h) and dispositive of this appeal.
In summary, a Canadian or permanent resident may sponsor any relative if the sponsor is alone in Canada and does not have other specified family members to sponsor.
For the sake of completenes, I should mention that blood relationships may not only cease with the death of a blood relative, but with the adoption of a child as well.
Opinion
The good news is that we have certainty again. But how could it come this far?
In 1983, Anthony D’Amato observed in his paper “Legal Uncertainty” (1983) 71 California Law Review 1-55 that law tends toward greater uncertainty.
Further, he described two ways in which law can become more complex, convoluted or inapplicable.
First, an element of a statutory provision may be explained by a court to mean something different than intended by the legislator. Generally, statutory interpretation by the courts aim for clarification of the rule but sometimes fail, ending in having a statute and a judgement while making the law more complex. In turn, the public may expect further adjudication and even more creative constructions by the courts. Alternatively, unsatisfied people may lobby for legal advantages, rendering the law more convoluted through the creation of law.
Second, unhappy people may avoid rules or take advantage of loopholes, leaving the law inapplicable.
Thus, the main challenges with uncertainty in law are that:
1. We cannot plan our daily activities;
2. We distance ourselves from the rule of law; and
3. We avail ourselves to an obscure regime of official discretion.
Last, Mr. D’Amato concluded that the rise in uncertainty of law is unstoppable:
But given the analysis of Part I that an economic bias exists in the legal system in favor [sic] of persons disadvantaged by legal rules, coupled with a psychological incentive for judges and scholars to upset expectations, the unhappy conclusion appears to be that the increase in legal uncertainty is inexorable.
Sendwa 1 is a good example of what not to do. In my opinion, the best practice is to resist the temptation of trying to twist the law and to return to the legal counsel’s intended role of protecting clients’ rights.

Whilst Avra is still formed from the remains of Irene, it's kind of more of a... maternal relationship than a reincarnative one. Avra is not a carbon copy, there were outside influences that impacted how she formed, and she is most certainly Her Own Person. I will never describe Avra as Irene, and vice versa.
This doesn't make Irene her Mother... no less than it makes the ground Judgement's, but there is that tiny little distinction. There is an implication of torch-passing instead of an expectation of it already being held, and whilst there is a standard to live up to, there is also that pressure to be *better*.
To be yourself? That's one thing. But to live up to the legacy of a parent? That's an expectation to improve upon what they have already done, to find something they did good, and do it GREAT.
I know this question doesn't really apply to LR, since there is still the Irene connection, but i feel like this is an important distinction. maybe it's just me.
For MCD rewriters, if you have decided to make Aphmau not Irene, what all does that change?

Dude I watched half a video of Hasan reacting to the case and now my recommended is full of "JD being a savage for 14 minutes straight" compilations. It's insufferable. Besides, is it not really fucking weird to be making joke compilations about that shit? Imagine doing the same thing for the OJ trial
I’m telling y’all his fans are unhinged. Why are we making like dank meme edits of his testimony??? That’s fucking weird!!!!! You bitches are burning in hell!!!
#ask#also they don’t seem to realize that his “savage moments” are only harming his case#half the time he’s replying with something smart assed it’s because he’s skirting the actual question or because he’s lying 🫢#like when he said his kids have better judgement than him because they hated AH and avoided her at all costs#like babes there’s like 10000 text messages and emails from you and your kids talking about how much they like her 💀💀💀#there’s messages between JD and his daughter where LR-D tells him he wasn’t always there for her and her brother and he hasn’t been the best#dad but being with amber has made him a better father#there’s messages from JD to Elton John about how his kids absolutely love AH#there’s messages between AH and LR-D where it’s very obvious they like each other and enjoy spending time together + all the photos of them

*hold gun cutely* Your turn to share headcannons for us to stea- take inspiration from
I find this so funny because there was a period of time where I only posted HCs… and it’s so weird bc damn I don’t do that anymore huh
A lot of my HCs have obviously changed in the 2/3 years I’ve been posting for this fandom, so…
Ahem.
If you ever want any SPECIFIC HCs, do ask, like I’m genuinely happy to offer any info you want. Anyways
DIVINE WARRIORS, because mfers keep talking about them.
TW, for like, sacrifices, and attempted child-murder/sacrifice... and child-on-mother cannibalism... if it counts as cannibalism when the child is a god.
They’re all gods or god-adjacent. Everyone talks about how they are making them not all gods, but fuck that man I find this fun.
They all reach their godhood in different ways, though. and godhood is something that is... complicated. fluid, even.
i'm just gonna talk about Shad (Judgement, in LR) and Irene, tho, bc otherwise this post would be mega fucking long. and i'm pretty sure i have a Kul'Zak ask anyways.
Y'know how people say 'the world is your oyster'? Well, the world is shad's egg. literally. He's the Draconic God of Death, and his entity was created in the belly (centre) of the earth, in heat and warmth and magma. He clawed his way out of the world, and this lore is mentioned in the prologue of LR, but his emergence from the core of the earth caused the earth to bunch up, and created mountains and valleys, and ravines. similarly to dropping a pebble into water, his emergence caused literal ripples. which is why most mountains and such are kind of in a radial pattern outwards from the 'belly of the world', which is just a huge fuck-off ravine. That said, not all mountains, because it's been thousands/millions of years since his emergence, and things do change. He was created as a god, before anyone knew what gods were. He was not the first being to exist, Early humans were around to witness his birth, but he is by far one of the most ancient. Hence why his followers call him 'the Ancient'.
Irene was born a god, though she was birthed by human parents. It's a whole situation, really, very lengthy. More about her mother than it really is about Irene. But she was born during the emergence. Her head crowned as Shad's emerged from the earth, and when he had fully freed himself and laid upon the cool ground, Irene was put into her mother's arms. Her and Shad are perfectly the same age, born at the same exact moment, to balance each other out. It's unclear which one sparked the creation of the other, but it doesn't matter. Both were born bloody and screaming, made to match. Irene was, however, not born looking human. She was a creature from day one. And she was ugly asf too bc like, she's feathered in her creature form, and have you ever seen fresh baby birds? Them mfers ugly. So, reasonably, her parents' people went 'aa' and decided to sacrifice her to the juvenile god of death bc they have volcanoes now, they can do that. However, Irene's mother was fiercely over-protective of her, and instead hid her in the woods to keep her out of the grasps of those wishing to harm her. She meant to go back and get her, so that she could find somewhere safe for her, but Irene's mother kind of got caesar'd (happy ides of march for two days ago), for trying to keep the fucked up little thing she birthed. Her body was dumped into the forest, and Irene ended up finding it and going 'oh a snack'. so... that's fun. However, as is how blood magic works, when one of magic consumes the heart of another, they consume their entirety. It was how Irene claimed a human form, by eating a human heart, and whilst it wasn't particularly an instantaneous transformation, it also lead to her becoming a mother. If not for eating her own mother's heart, she never would've had the maternal traits that ending up characterising her for most of her existence.
half of the irene stuff wasn't even info on how she became a god lmao, just 'oh she was born that way... also she ate her mother lmao'
#could get into the metaphors but nahhhhh#tw cannibalism#tw sacrifice#tw attempted child murder#aphmau#aphverse#aphblr#rewrite#minecraft diaries#mcd#ranthredo#Lycoris Radiata/Ranthredo#maybe i should make a 'ranth lore' tag

I told myself I wasn’t going to make a post like this—that I wasn’t going to stoop to the level of making call-out posts—but I really can’t stay silent after what has happened in the last day or so.
The TOG fandom has a serious issue with excusing antisemitism and allowing people who have painfully hurt marginalized groups to continue to ignore, dismiss, and refuse to acknowledge their limits of intersectionality in regards to social justice. I have seen it myself, been on the receiving end of it, and have talked to other Jews in this fandom about what’s been going on and it needs to start being addressed.
Now, I’m not going to name names or tag people (mainly because I have been blocked by almost all of them for this very issue) but if you message me I will gladly tell you the users involved in this. Also, if you have doubts of any of this’s validity and would like screenshots, feel free to reach out to me here or via Discord and I will share them.
A lot of this started when a member of the All&More server had brought up the scientific and medical “discoveries” during the torture and medical experimentation that took place during the Third Reich and how a lot of the origin of it isn’t taught. LR made a comment saying that “we are three-dimensional creatures who are stuck moving forward in time and can’t go back” and added that not using the research won’t make past horrors not happen. When the original user added that there has been a movement in medicine for removing Nazi scientists names off discoveries and that progress was slow moving, she deflected the conversation onto herself, saying “Not using research won’t make my family not harmed by the Japanese” and then immediately pivoted into admitting that, from what she understood, there weren’t any particularly valid scientific discoveries made by them. She then said, in regards to said Nazi atrocities, “Take it, learn about it, put it in context, and then own it and transform it.”
A Jewish member of A&M voiced their discomfort about possibly taking medicine that was a direct result of the murder of their grandparents and other relatives, to which LR said, “Still stuck in the 3rd dimension, still moving forward in time.” I brought up the fact that medicine was built on antisemitism and racism and that starting over would be better than a lot of the procedures we have now. There is a longstanding issue in medicine of disregarding black pain and so much of what we have now is created by eugenicists—including Nazi scientists. There is still a lot of Jewish trauma due to medical experimentation and that is oftentimes dismissed.
LR then made a flippant comment about “Does this count as Godwin’s Law?”—which is about how all internet discussions lead to someone being compared to Nazis/Hitler. When called out on the inappropriateness of the comment, she did not respond and was backed up by one of the mods of the server. There was no apology made nor an acknowledgment about the casual antisemitism of the comments she made and the dismissal of Jewish trauma/pain.
Now, fast forward a couple months when I was contacted by a third party who had not been in the server at the time but had joined and heard about what LR had said there. H said they were friends with LR and had concerns about antisemitism and would like my perspective. I explained what had happened and offered screenshots if they would like them, which they did. They thanked me and apologized that it got to a point that I felt unsafe in the server and had to leave, which I appreciated.
A couple weeks later they reached out to me again and offered to broker a conversation between LR and myself because the situation wasn’t sitting well with them. I was skeptical (because I had been blocked at that point) and didn’t have a lot of hope that this conversation would actually take place but I felt a responsibility to try and be the bigger person and deal with what had been said head on, so I agreed to sit down and have a discussion with her as long as there was a third party in the chat as well—given our history.
After a couple weeks of back and forth with H and hearing that LR had said that she would “think about it”, she finally agreed. I was asked for a time and date and I gave my availability and was told she would be asked for the same. A couple days later, I was suddenly told LR would only be comfortable with this conversation if H acted as a “literal go-between” with us copy-pasting our responses in their DMs so we can “sit with the message and everyone can get to them when they can” rather than it being a session with an actual back and forth and was asked if I was okay with that. I honestly said no, because this was supposed to be a situation where she and I sat down and discussed what she said in the server, not a back and forth message relay where the conversation got dragged out for days or weeks or however long it was going to take. I said if she was serious about meeting me halfway on this, she needed to be able to sit down and actually talk.
H copy-pasted my response to LR and came back that she had backed out of the conversation, which part of me had expected from the beginning—even though all I wanted from this sit down was for her to understand how hurtful the antisemitic comments were and an apology.
These comments that were made in the server are not a secret. It’s pretty well known what was said and again, these were all on record, not privately made in some DM. She has still not owned up to the comments she said, nor has she ever apologized for them. She has ignored message after message about them and blocked more people than I can count. Many of the people defending her when the discourse begins have also been messaged about the comments she’s said and also either block people or ignore the messages completely and refuse to acknowledge them.
Now, this being said, in the most recent conversation about fandom racism, someone brought up the post that was made reducing users on ao3 to faceless, nameless numbers without saying who they were, what they had done, and how they were specifically contributing to the problem of racism in this fandom. They made the comparison of other situations like HR looking at pay stats to see how to fire and included “Nazis, capitalists, and colonizers.”
This is not an invalid argument. There have been other Jews in the fandom who specifically voiced feeling uncomfortable for the exact same reason. However, another person, LT, decided to specifically make a post calling the OP out and drag them for having the audacity to liken it to the Shoah (which, mind you, this person is not Jewish nor did they decide to capitalize Shoah or the Holocaust as they should have). She received a reply saying, “you’re offended by antisemitism? Here’s LR’s (someone LT has agreed with multiple times over racism in fandom) track record of antisemitic comments” which outlined everything I delved into previously.
LT said that they were “unaware of this incident until a couple days ago” but agreed that it was an upsetting display of casual dismissal of Jewish pain and hoped that LR had apologized. She was then called out for being aware of it and still continuing to reblog LR’s posts even after knowing about the comments and was linked to my post clarifying that LR had not apologized and refused a discussion about it, to which LT said that she had gotten “quite a different version outlined in the post linked and corroborated by a third party” and “felt uncomfortable” making a value judgement, insinuating that I was not being truthful about my side of the story.
I messaged LT off-anon and said that I was not lying nor over-exaggerating about what had happened in the server or about the following discussion about trying to broker a conversation with LR, and was immediately blocked by her. I am also not the only Jew who has sent her messages about this topic, only to have their messages ignored.
Now, am I surprised that I was immediately blocked after voicing my issues with what LT had said in that post? No.
She has a history of making antisemitic comments, most of which happened during the brunt of the Israel/Palestine discussion happening, which included statements such as “You cannot be considered indigenous if you hold a position of power”, that, despite having been displaced for 2,000 years, the Jewish diaspora was “integrated” into their respective communities (a wholly untrue statement), as well as linked to and promoted a website with extremely antisemitic articles including one about “Spartan Jews” and how Israeli Jews are violent to “send messages to their deprived self-esteem” that they won’t be victims again. Half of the comments on the site’s front page included such hits as “Death to all Jews” and “Wow, I had no idea this was happening—I guess it is true that Jews control the world and the mass media.” This website was repeated in multiple posts as “unbiased” and “a good resource” for other people to truly know what was going on.
Jewish dissent on the content of some posts and that website went unacknowledged and dismissed.
Being that LT is a relatively big user in the TOG fandom, her posts got circulated frequently. Seeing things like that touted as unbiased was extremely triggering for me and multiple Jews in this fandom that I’ve spoken to.
Now, the reason I made this post in particular was because I have seen a lot of echoing of the sentiment: “no matter how much you disagree with their sentiment, aligning yourself with racists is...well aligning yourself with racists.”
This statement NEEDS to become intersectional. If we are criticizing the work of people because of who they hold company with, why does that end at racism? If we are going to have a discussion about racism in this fandom, why are we letting it come from people who have openly said antisemitic things, people who have stood by them and supported them in silence, and people who have silenced Jewish voices speaking up about this issue.
These are not separate issues. This is a really good post regarding the white washing of Jews in social justice discussion and it comes full circle into the medical experimentation discussion. Jews were not seen as white during the Holocaust. The Nazis were trying to cleanse the Aryan race because they did not view Jews as white. They experimented on them because they did not view them as white and, thus, disposable.
Every Jewish diasporic community is still vulnerable. Even though the US has half the world’s Jews, over 50% of the religiously based hate crimes are consistently anti-Jewish even though Jews make up 2% of the population. Chinese Jews are still holding their holiday celebrations in secret due to government crackdowns. The attempted genocide of Beta Israel was less than 50 years ago. Across the Middle East and North Africa, Jewish communities are barely hanging on after centuries of attempted destruction. These are not just Jewish issues but racial issues as well because when people make the sweeping generalization of “Jew” and they only mean white-passing Ashkenazi Jews, it erases so much of our community.
I absolutely agree that this fandom needs to have a discussion about race and portrayal in fic and what we can do better moving forward—and I want to see that done—but we also need to acknowledge what so many people starting this discussion have said and the marginalized groups they have hurt along the way. I see these posts come across my dashboard and know exactly who they're coming from and what they think of people like me. If we are going to say, “No matter how much you disagree with their sentiment, aligning yourself with racists is aligning yourself with racists,” then we NEED to be saying, “If you are aligning yourself with antisemites, you’re aligning yourself with antisemites.”
We all need to move forward. But that means moving forward together. Jews included.
#i just really needed to get this off my chest#I really don’t want to start shit but some of this has been bothering me for months and I can’t stay quiet anymore#I’m just so tired#intersectionality includes Jews pass it on

Sure, she killed them all and left no survivors for intel. But for someone's first gig, being this successful right off the bat is the biggest boost of dopamine Emily has ever gotten. It's her happy place.
Ooooh! It seems like Emily's self-worth is determined entirely by her belief that she's "the best." So F (and Ada) coming along and tearing that down has gotta give her an existential crisis, ahaha! It's also apparent that her approach to conflict leaves no room for compromise or attempts to understand other people. She really is F's rival!
One of them even claimed that she was more in love with the idealized Blind Boy than the genuine article, and so this was less of her "best" memory and more of her best fantasy.
Hm. Sounds like—no, I won't say it. I don't want to upset you (sounds like Kahaku).
In response, F calmed the Others through his powers and decided to fill in as the friend she always wanted for a day. It starts out pretty awkward because neither really knows how to actually be someone's friend, but they gradually find their way through it.
Oh, that sounds like the kind of shit I love. Tons of opportunity for character exploration!! For just one day, they're both playing at normalcy—and they both struggle at it together! F, who in most other circumstances would be more successful than Ada is, is on the same level as her.
Nobody bothers him or even seems to notice him. Being away from other people's chattering minds allows him to calm down in ways he has never been able to do before.
This reminds me of another psychic character... but the only one I can think of is that guy from Code Geass, who is not. It. You probably know all the psychic characters that I do... but I thought it might be a helpful character reference? I'll let you know if I remember!
LR is visibly livid when she gets back, and she gets a harsh lecture. She can't even remember being scolded by anyone before this.
I don't know if Emily is a character you sympathize with at all, but I can't help but feel sad for her. Ada has the freedom and ability to be human that she doesn't, and F completely outclasses her. Because they're all clones, it really emphasizes how much her life could have changed if just a little thing had been different. And that's probably the point! That they all had the same potential, but their different circumstances resulted in very different personalities. But still... I feel protective of her now! Oops.
Now's the time for me to introduce one of my character sub-categories: Reminds Me of My Sister! Examples in this category include:
Mizuha
Asuka
And now: Emily
And yet his own powers make him the most empathetic of the three. It makes him the least judgemental. It enables him to understand people as people and ironically humanize them, therefore making him most capable of compassion despite being a weapon. He has the least sense of self because he's constantly bombarded by other people's sense of self, and yet that opens up ways for him to be the least egocentric of all three.
The idea of psychic abilities intended to be weapons being used to help other people is really... nice! These abilities are just a tool. Someone like Emily can use them for violence like she's been taught, but someone like F can use them for good. It's hopeful. Any skill, even one that doesn't seem to have any net positive to it, has the capacity to help others.
[2/2]
Part 1
Bruh. The rambling. The rambling does not stop. What the hell.
---
❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?
(1) Emily: Her first gig and debut as Project Gu's success was to protect the president of ___ [insert country name] from a terrorist group's assassination attempt, but the terrorists were also aiming to hurt every other member of the cabinet, civilians, janitors, and cats/dogs/birds/animals nearby. Not only that, this attempt was the first time the common folks realized there have been private and unsanctioned attempts to replicate Project Gu, instead of just "speculations." World leaders were just shocked that these attempts had gone far enough.
Despite the challenge, Emily managed to save the president and everyone else, defeating the terrorists in the process. Sure, she killed them all and left no survivors for intel. But for someone's first gig, being this successful right off the bat is the biggest boost of dopamine Emily has ever gotten. It's her happy place.
(2) Ada: Ada will probably think her time dating the Blind Boy was the best, though that memory, unfortunately, turned sour because, well, he slipped on a banana peel and passed away (see Part 1). The Others mock and laugh about this, and that kinda sours the memory a little more. One of them even claimed that she was more in love with the idealized Blind Boy than the genuine article, and so this was less of her "best" memory and more of her best fantasy.
In the story proper, one of her best memories will be this day shortly after meeting F by "happenstance" (it wasn't really a chance meeting). She has been following F since they escaped Emily's pursuit, and F notes how noisy her head is and wonders how she managed to grow up like this. She told him about how alone she's always been and that the Others, unkind as they may be, are the only few companions she has.
In response, F calmed the Others through his powers and decided to fill in as the friend she always wanted for a day. It starts out pretty awkward because neither really knows how to actually be someone's friend, but they gradually find their way through it. It's the best; Ada has never felt so accepted and wanted before. And the world has never been quieter.
(3) F: One of his best memories is the same as Ada's, as seen above. But there is another one that he values a lot. Shortly after he runs away but before meeting Ada, F encounters a village or a town or a settlement similar to it. Despite his strange appearance or unknown origin, upon knowing he's hungry and thirsty, folks there generously feed him and give him shelter with no questions asked. Sure, they are also wary of him and tell their kids not to associate with him, but F agrees with their attitude because he knows what he is, even if they don't.
He takes up a temporary abode in a hut under a tree, a few distances away from the settlement, over those few days. Nobody bothers him or even seems to notice him. Being away from other people's chattering minds allows him to calm down in ways he has never been able to do before. It doesn't last long, because plot, but from then on he has been chasing that state of mind however he can as though it is his only salve.
In other words: one of F's best memories is his first meditation. BWAHHAHAHHAA! What do you expect from a psychic? Or ya know, me?
----
✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?
The day when Emily is given the mission to retrieve F. She had never heard of another Ghoul surviving—and now suddenly there's another one whose status and importance exceed hers, especially from LR's perspective. That pisses her off to no end; it is a betrayal of her identity. Then after that, she finds a Ghoul and mistakes her for F, only to realize it was another one who was supposed to be dead. To make matters worse, Ada is mentally awry, useless, and literally without powers. Emily is given the directive to either kill or consume her (she picks the former), and yet she somehow loses Ada and fails her mission on this front, too—something that rarely happens.
LR is visibly livid when she gets back, and she gets a harsh lecture. She can't even remember being scolded by anyone before this.
It is a whole string of shitty events to her.
----------
🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?
Well, some of F's characteristics and personalities are based on a dear friend of mine whom I really admire. I also deliberately fashion in some of the Buddha's life story, such as "running away from home despite his cushy-ass life in search for liberation from suffering," though F's concern is simply his own suffering.
But that's probably not the thing I like most about F!
See, F is the least human of the 3 Ghouls. He's a human-looking monster—even more so than Emily—from the beginning of his creation.
Ada won the Gudu gauntlet by staying away from the conflict when the embryos were fighting each other before being forced to haphazardly absorb them erratically into herself, including the last one standing, to preserve her life. Emily won by immediately killing every other embryo. F, though, won by forcing the other embryos via mind control to willingly disintegrate themselves into basic organic building blocks to bolster him. F would have heard the voices of these dead embryos just like Ada (since they both resorted to some sort of absorption-based means), but he crushed all of them through his psychic power while incubated, effectively murdering them twice.
And that's not counting how potent of a weapon he is, since unlike Emily who has a strong individualistic streak, he defers to LR and others like a good weapon should. He has killed fewer people than Emily has, but that's because he subjugates most of them via mental manipulation, performing feats like forceful amnesia, rewiring someone's brain into undergoing psychoses, and the like.
He's the most perfect Ghoul in that he really is just that. A fucking monster.
I like characters like F because it allows exploration of how someone, created to be an inhuman monster, nonetheless possesses traits and qualities that can allow them to be more than that. It's a Buddhist outlook (the same one that undergirds the idea of one achieving Nibbana) that can be played around, challenged, and explored through F, who has shades of selfishness and delusions hidden beneath his seemingly "noble" qualities.
A non-human striving to become human—it's one of the perennial themes that I love.
-----
I hope you had the fucking time of your life, "mysterious stranger."
THE END.
#i like seeing how much f is inspired by that friend of yours... but also where he differs! even if the details aren't perfectly matched f is#still a character who shares your friend's ideals. and in this story he has the opportunity to share them with a wider selection of#people. ah shit i'm tearing up. just a little!#project g(ho)u(l)

THE KING: ETERNAL MONARCH EP 11, My Appreciation and How It Made Me Feel
The Police and Lee Rim found Luna, just when the police about to catch Luna, a truck hit his car. Drastically. I think this scene is overboard, people probably die if he got hit like that 🤣 but okay. So in conclusion Lee Rim got Luna first. I kind of hope the police got her first and wish to see what Gon wants to do with her once he saw her before everything got into mess. But im not KES. So the story goes:
Lee Rim offers Luna a new life - JTE life. Healthy, having loving parents, having a job, all the opposite of Luna. I always love the scene with the bad people, so this one is 💕 I like the dialogue here about Luna being hurted by LR words that she dont have anything and about to die. Damn KGE acting 💯 and i love this words 상처받았어 (my feelings hurted)
The death of Prince Buyeong parallel to what happen in eps 1 when Gon’s father died, we can see the same reindition of Gon breakdown crying after holding it for the sake of the ceremony. I feel bad for him. But i have to admit, Lady Noh’s cry was breaking my heart the most. Damn 😭
JTE and KSJ looking for SJH now, because JTE knew that she is with LR, if they can find her they pretty much can track LR.
Meanwhile Luna accept LR offer, she comes to see the yoyo boy basically to say goodbye. To ask him taking care of her belonging. This scene is short but powerful, starting from YB hand Luna her knife
YB “this was in the pocket”
Luna “i did not come for that. You can keep it. Use it to protect what belongs to you”
YB “going off to steal again?”
Luna “do you believe god exist?”
YB “nod”
Luna “then i think i will be punished”
Luna “by the way that yoyo, why is the string red?”
YB “i hooked it up myself”
This conversation disturbed my mind, so during watching i looked up about the red string and the word 엮다 . I found both were kind of connected. The red thread of fate is a famous believes in east Asia about 2 people connected with this thread who are destined lovers, regardless of place, time or circumstances. While i think in this series its not only linked to the lovers (JTE and Gon) but also with the 2 world overall. This boy kind of play fate or so i assume maybe he is a deity in disguise who watch and control, because he said he is the one who 엮 it, he weave, link and hooked it. AMAZING.
While still pretty much in vain, Gon need to face his annoying cousin who shows 0 simpathy. He thinks he is second in line after Gon, but Gon decide it belongs to his sister. Because Gon trust Prince Buyeong judgement on his son. We can see that the kindom was actually wiretapping Prince Buyeong as well. I assume this is due to the treason that happened 25 years ago, to prevent any royal family betrayal again. Still its kind of rude in my opinion. But this scene was intense i love LMH acting here. Great. I really cannot believe he once plays gu junpyo 🤣
Gon in furious and angry mode is not something i imagine he will be. LR was definitely provoke him with this and he is angry. I love the time stop and Gon throwing the ring in anger here. Amazing. Also the music!
Gon was about to go after LR to Korea but then PM Koo hold him by releasing an article about King always out of palace and cause a fuss. Means Gon tied to the palace. So now we are clear, PM is a bad person, she is becoming -1. Though i still have faith in her before. But damn im wrong. I like Gon’s line here “PM Koo has pulled the gag”
Back to Korea, LR is trying to recruit KSJ! This is probably also the moment i want to see because i think KSJ has a potential to be bad. I love this scene much because the fighting was cool and this traitor doppelgänger character was damn annoying! At first i though he wants to kill KSJ but then he gave him the 2G phone. Wow. I appreciate him coming to the office and telling JTE the truth about what happen. I like what KSJ is saying here :
KSJ “what are we after? And where are we headed?”
JTE “i dont have the exact answer to that yet. So i’ll just keep going. I was told that we’ll arrive somewhere if we keep going. If we walk far enough, that is”
As what in Alice In Wonderland . I love the reference, resemblance and consistency.
Gon in Corea was looking at Prince Buyeong daily log to see anything suspicious because as what the news said Gon wants to investigate the case himself. He found that Prince Buyeong actually went to the Eosu Bookstore in the slums. He is thinking what is this clue, he remembers what Prince Buyeong said to him “the footsteps you take by risking your whole life is whats fate” brb crying first before continue 🥺🥺
Gon asking armed royal guard to follow him. Omg what is going to happen!!
Apparently Gon going to ask about Eosu Bookstore to the prisoners , 1 says dont know, 1 did not want to speak. He thinks Gon is not able to hurt him 🤣 bye bye, Gon finally announce that he is making a special law to beheaded the traitor and he did. Gon becoming darker and definitely can do up to this extent when needed. I cant believe it. Great development, i love seeing people dark side 💯 i also think the zoom out to Gon’s face and the camera position were added the tension of this. The camera technique definitely important to added deep to scene like this 💯
To be continue..

HERO OF FERELDEN - CITY ELF ORIGIN KALLIAN TABRIS
Kallian is the only daughter of Cyrion and Adaia Tabris. She starts of in her story with a distrusting and distase for humans ( as anyone would in their situation ), but the bias is steadfast when it is revealed that her mother was murdered by humans. Likely for standing up and against humans that were picking on other elves. We meet her when she is awakening to her wedding to her betrothed - a City Elf from Highever by the name of Nelaros. Despite being told to not let him know of her training with her mother, she is indifferent toward him finding out about her skill in battle. If they are to be wed, he will find out soon enough.
There is no questioning of the wedding, it is how things are. And she trusts her father’s judgement. (had she been against the whole act, there would not have been a celebration before). But as the story goes, the wedding is interrupted and she and others (Shianni, and Carwen - @copiesofher -) are forced into the castle. (all not coming out unscathed)
After witnessing so many killed, and so many hurt, the guilt she carries for not arriving in time to stop it all follows her, and she grows more bitter by the time the events are through, and she is faced with the guard. And deciding that enough is enough, that she will do what she can so no one gets hurt again, she steps forward by herself to claim killing the son of the Arl. And thus, Duncan - the Grey Warden- enacts the right of conscription.
td;lr she is hardened, but softens as time goes on. And through meeting and traveling over the next few years throughout Thedas, she learns that the world is not so simple. And the hardest decisions have yet to come. Decisions Made, but often can be adjusted according to chemistry:
The Broken Circle: Supported the Mages. The Arl of Redcliffe: There is no blood ritual, both Connor and Isolde survive, though there a optional tension when it looks like Kallian actually considered the ritual. Nature of the Beast: the Curse is Broken, both werewolves and elves are sided with. The Urn of Sacred Ashes: the Ashes remain untainted. A Paragon of Her Kind: Sided with Caridin, Bhelen is crowned King. The Landsmeet: by default, Alistair is made King, but there are both canons available where he is and isn’t King. The Question of whether or not the Ritual is performed depends entirely on the person I am writing with, persay if it is a Morrigan who has it in their canon, or a discussion plotted between the writer and I. THERE WILL BE AN INQUISITION VERSE FOR KALLIAN: because in the original intent of Inquisition it was suppose to be the Hero across from Hawke, and due to engine problems they scrapped it and put Alistair in the Heros place. So a verse will be available for Kallian here.
THERE WILL ALSO BE A VERSE AVAIABLE FOR OTHER HERO OF FERELDENS IN WHICH KALLIAN NEVER UNDERGOES THE JOINING: and she can be found in the Denerim dungeons, awaiting her fate after the events of her Origins story. You will have the option to free her and help her commit justice, or kill her where she stands.
#[ kallian tabris ] the maker smiles sadly on his grey wardens; as no sacrifice is greater than theirs.#[ kallian tabris / ch. study ] sometimes the greatest stories come from the most humble beginnings.

Projecting yourself into your story too much can make your judgement of the characters biased and clouded. It can quickly become very self-indulgent, and all of your nasty traits you are not aware of can be put on display to the audience that actually gives a shit about logical consistency.
td;lr can we stop giving these damn westerners the driver seat?
