Spoilers for Riptide 103-114!

Some small probably obvious things you can do with the Riptide pirates designs the longer they’re in the black sea, due to the weird sunlight situation.

This is of course realistically stuff that would happen over a long period of time, but who’s to say the black sea wouldn’t speed this up via the corruption. (some of the corruptions affects do seem to be similar.)

1. Darken hair especially on Gill and Jay

2. If you draw Jay with freckles those will gradually fade.

3. Skin will generally lighten and get greyer undertones.

5. A lack of vitamin D can cause exhaustion so i doubt they’re standing alert or even kinda straight.

Overall Chips not the only one looking like a zombie lol they all have the sickly victorian swag

SPOILERS FOR JRWI RIPTIDE EP 103 THE BLACK SEA

so currently watching this ep and ??? what the fuck ??? gillion is the goddamn chosen one i haven’t finished it but gillion is the person irl that we joke and say “haha we’re all npc’s in gillions world” BUT WE ARE. this man one shot killed a beast in the black sea with ONE HUNDRED (100) FORTY FOUR (44) (144) DAMAGE in one attack AND is living through the guys flashback like. god when i get reincarnated can i be an npc in gillions life.

grizz has been kinda insane this episode with keeping the atmosphere and tone of the black sea. the monster design and voice effects, the fact that theyre finding out about this ocean from the things that were once people that theyre slaying. these mfers are about to be so fucking harrowed im excited
