everyone wish me and my hands luck bc i am playing 7 straight hours of piano today. i have had to learn 49 songs in the space of about two weeks. my nails are already shredded just from practice and rehearsal. for any MT pianists following along in the notes we have a total of 3 JRBs and 3 sondheims among the repertoire 🫥

I'm sure it was not intentional but i love how "the next ten minutes" isn't even 10 mins, it's 7ish which alludes to the future they planned together (the babies, the million summers, the forever until the world explodes) is cut short just like the song. They didn't reach that 10 mins, that forever. Instead they got five years that were bitter and unfulfilling in retrospect.
