TRANSFORMERS GENERATION 2, OPTIMUS PRIME.

En 1993 Hasbro decide volver a lanzar figuras de los Transformers, y debuta la línea con algunas figuras recicladas de años anteriores, con nuevos colores y accesorios como lanza proyectiles y elementos con efectos de luces y sonido. Uno emblemático es Optimus Prime, mismo de 1984 a 1986, con partes en azul más claro, remolque negro y algunos accesorios extra a los originales, que también incluye.

A mi parecer es una gran figura, que no es especialmente bien valorada. Han pasado por mis manos varios incompletos, hasta encontrar el de estas fotos, y comparado a lo que se vendía su equivalente de Generación 1, fácilmente se podía pagar la mitad de aquel, siendo en rigor igual.

Mantiene los habitáculos de su antecesor de la serie Diaclone, y los colores distintivos le agregan cierto dramatismo. Además, esta versión no ha sido falsificada, por lo que es una compra relativamente segura.

Rare locos for a Virgin Crosscountry service. This time it's the Coventry - Edinburgh diagram and two scruffy grey Freightliner Class 47s (47285 and 47306) are seen at Derby. They were detached here.

Simpson Rural Fire Department - Freightliner M2112 / KME tanker

A very random arrival from Australia (2023).

Spotted at the Ports at the end of 2023 was this Australian, and specifically Victorian, registered 8x4 Freightliner, something.

It doesn't seem to have been a new truck, as the registration corresponds to a 2014 model. But also the registration is still current. I don't know whether Downer NZ imported it and changed their minds, or Downer Australia decided to buy second-hand from NZ.

It doesn't really resemble an American built Freightliner either. A fun mystery and a fun catch.
