My phone is smarter than I realised. Everything is dialed up to 11 on the color scale of photos taken today. Are my joy beams now that radioactive, enough that the vibrancy insists on a legacy of it's own? But back to today: extraordinary. A day of gazing out windows across 4 countries' countryside while curled up in train seats. I had a 90-100 minute run in my plan for the end of today. The very last one. I could have dreaded it. Instead, I couldn't wait to get out there. I started at 5pm, up and down the Rhine and then around Cologne. I drunk everything in around me. Flying, floating, freedom. Done. With love and energy. Sometimes the good days nip you to remind you. Of that glee. Today was one. Second night in Buenos Aires. Walk all day, then an evening run to cruise around the parks. This light: like a beacon. Those trees: everywhere. That movement: constant, soaring, ever in flux. 12 lanes of traffic next to the Liberatador Av of bicyclists, skateboarders, walkers, footballers in fields, drummers in parks, and a runner standing on a corner in magical pause at it all. #buenosaires #runventures #palermo #sun #saturdays #joybeams #runner #life

St David's was a highlight today. Hike around, run on clifftops, gasp at buildings that are 800+ years in the making (and a story far further back than that). Ploughman's for lunch. That cheese! Legs are sleepy. Senses are full.
