I decided to keep things simple and include the first lines of all my stories in the Witcher/Thronebreaker fandom so far 💖

i. “Clang! Clang! Clang!” (untitled story, wip) 

ii. “When Gweilge realised he wasn’t alone in the clearing he was passing by on his way to finding a campsite for the evening, his first instinct was to reach for one of the arrows tucked inside the quiver tied to his back.” (convallaria majalis, wip)

iii. “Gweilge wasn’t fond of stealing.” (in the light)

iv. “‘M sorry — what did you say, man?” (fires that burn)

v. “When Gascon woke up with a start, he immediately knew something was amiss.” (ready to run)

vi. “The morning sun was painting striking streaks of peach, apricot and lemon across the horizon.” (and all the stars flowered in the sky)

vii. “The blood on Geralt’s hands is so dark it seems to burn away at the black leather of his gloves.” (gloveless)

Mmm I think the main commonality here is that I usually start in media res and/or with a descriptive passage, and in the past tense most of the time ✨ Purely in terms of the language, I’d probably say I prefer vi and vii; but I also like to open with sounds, so I think I quite like i as well 🥰

my film studies coursework !! it took me ages and i’m so proud of it ! plus my a-levels in general.. i’ve worked my butt off since day one and ended up with two A*s and an A, so it definitely paid off !

olaf : what traits do you like most in your friends ?

it sounds obvious but like.. actually nice people ? aka not people who just use ‘banter’ as an excuse to be lowkey mean to everyone + never actually open up :/
