Summary: One of the best students at Laguna Beach High School, Kylie is articulate, well spoken, mannered, good at multitasking, fairly great at planning, and organized. The kid has a good heart and a good head on her shoulders. A straight A student, member of the school decathlon team, the senior class VP. Kylie is very sweet, honorable, and level headed often acting as the voice of reason in the female portion of her friends. Kylie was born to a successful lawyer, George McCarthy and his partner, Christopher Julien, a ambitious magazine editor. Summary: Born to a pair of sun-kissed blonde power couple, Levi is the son of Fortune 500 - Forbes listed CEO of JamesCo, William James and his former model turned socialite wife, Uma Peterson-James. From the day that he was born, Levi has been told that he is powerful, he has money and a lot of it. There hasn’t been anything he wasn’t given, awarded, provided. Textbook jock, Levi excelled in football (mainly), basketball, lacrosse, soccer, and surfs in his free time. He’s QB of the football team and he relishes in the fact that he has Sav on his arm, he’s perfect and he only wants the best for his ego. He mainly focuses on his girlfriend, sex, parties (lots of them), drinking, and sports. He is not the best friend you would want however, very few outside of their friend group knows how he got Sav, by betraying his former best friend from childhood, Ethan, who still harbors a love for Savanna. Recently, he’s been noticing Ethan’s less than quiet advances on Sav. He doesn’t like it, but he has also been holding in secrets from his girlfriend, his cheating and a deeper one that might not only fuck up his relationship with Savanna but destroy the bonds that are deep rooted with their friend group. He’s best friends with Talan, he’s friends with everyone but he doesn’t care too much for Ethan still being accepted in their group of friends.

Summary: Everything about Maia screams sensitive, mainly Kylie’s best friends but she does hold close friendships with everyone in the group, Maia is overly sensitive, fiercely loyal, a ride or die friend, and occasionally shy. A little bit on the hyperactive side, openly bisexual and her parents are okay with it, modern day hippies…what can you say?! She had her first same sex experience with a girl at summer camp when she was in the 7th grade. Her friends do tend to walk on eggshells with her due to her over-sensitivity to avoid triggering her. A flair for the dramatics, Maia knows her name will be in lights one day. Maia has spent the last four years in awe of Bodhi but he doesn’t pick up on her flirtatious banter or he ignores it to avoid hurting her feelings.

Outspoken, brash, a slick mouth and sarcasm stewed to perfection. Do not call her a spicy Latina, she hates the way Hollywood has stereotyped women with attitude. She’s fiery and will let you know about your wrongs, proud of her heritage. She’s of Mexican-Cuban descent and Swedish through her mother. Cali has a younger brother named Javi, who is a sophomore at Laguna Beach High. Raised by her single father, Javier Hernandez Sr, a famous architect that made his wealth building homes and iconic businesses for the elite. Her mother, Enya Nilsson was a influential fashion designer with several collections, one even named after her daughter, Calista. She lost her mom at 8 years old, making her father a widow. He buried himself into his work and left his cards accessibly to his kids, Cali stepped up and helped her various nannies with her younger brother who was only 6 when their mom died. Like her best friend, she’s sexually active with her boyfriend, Talan. She and Savanna were already going to be best friends, due to their mothers. Enya and Farrah being friends. Farrah even walked on the runway for her designer friend a few times, somehow falling pregnant with their daughters weirdly around the same time. Summary: Talan is by far the most reliable guy next to Noah in his group of his friends. Son of A-List Party Planner, Britney Westin-Everett and successful Nightclub-Exotic Strip owning Mogul, Alan Everett. Talan has a younger sister named, Serena who is 15 years old and a sophomore at Laguna Beach HS and a older half brother on his father’s side, Gilliam, nicknamed Gill, who’s a senior at NYU. Talan spends his days smoking weed, drawing, surfing, skate-boarding, playing volleyball, and mainly keeping his GF, Cali and his best friend, Jessa from ripping each other’s hair out. While he knows Cali is not always a BITCH on wheels and Jessa is not only known for her body count, he doesn’t understand why the young women don’t care to much for him having the other in his life. He often wonders had his life would have been different if he chose Jessa over Cali back in the summer of 9th grade. Would Cali even still be his friend?. Summary: Jessa was not born in Laguna Beach, Cali will let you and everyone know this information. But she was born in the Nation’s capital to a pair of Bulgarian-American parents, her mother was a high society debutante, Petia Alferov-Filipov and her father, Darian Filipov, was the son of a Oil tycoon who was working his way to senator in his state of DC. However her high society days were cut short when her parents were killed in a car crash when she was 12 years old. Not having any family that was willingly to take her in on the east coast, Jessa was placed in care with her paternal aunt, Yoana Filipov, who was 23 years old at the time. Her aunt is old enough to be her older sister and is not much of a guardian. Her aunt is an heiress who doesn’t need to work, naturally she let her niece do whatever she wants. Only showing up to parent-guardian type things if it’s really needed, signing permission slips and sending her niece money. Jessa quickly made friends in the first few weeks of moving to LB, quickly making her debut as the 10th friend in their group of 9. Jessa “grew up and out” developing physically before the other girls in the group, making her unwisely the first one to adhere to her sexual exploration and interests. She briefly dated Noah, even took his virginity in 9th grade before letting him go as he continued to love Kylie from afar. She does not believe in labels or dating unless she’s really in love and she’s only been in love with one person, Talan for as long as she can remember. A cheerleader, a party girl, and sexually liberated (her words), Jessa is not everyone’s cup of tea…mainly Cali’s. She and Cali actually share a lot in common, both being confident in their looks on the outside but insecure on the inside, sexually active, slick mouthed and sharp tongued, you would think they’d be the best of friends…but they aren’t and Talan is the reason. Plus she also never really like Cali due to her attitude and spoiled demeanor and ability to keep secrets and lie, she is however best friends with Sav and Maia and occasionally Kylie, as she respects the girl’s morals and values to wait. She’s got a good heart and she does believe in love, having seen it firsthand with her parents. She doesn’t want to rush into something that will bite her in the ass. Until it’s something real, mainly with Talan, she doesn’t want a relationship, keeping it casual.

Summary: Ethan prefers to spend his time, directing school plays, photographing things, his muse is often Savanna, often taking a lot of her photos for her portfolio. But he’s not a creep about it, she asks him and he obliges because he loves her and knows that she will be a phenomenal model one day. He works for the school newspaper as the head photographer after Noah asked him to when his OG photographer graduated two years ago. While no desires to be a sports guy, Ethan does enjoy watching them. He’s more on the artistic side, preferring to be on the opposing side like behind his lenses or making the productions. He’s the son of Celebrity Chef, Eleanor White (formerly Mahoney) and her philandering Award winning Actor ex husband, Lyle Mahoney. Ethan is the middle of three children that the couple bore before divorcing, he has an older sister named Isla Mahoney who’s currently working at Vogue as a social media advisor, and he has a younger brother named Noel Mahoney who’s the same as age as Sav’s younger brother, Six. He has dated in the past and even had sex a few times, but none of them compared…compared to Savanna. She’s been the object of his affection since he was in preschool, he loved her even before he knew what love was. They even shared their first kiss together. Ethan was right on track with own planning tactics to telling Savanna how he felt until Levi happened. Levi was at one point his best friend, he swooped in and asserted his claim on Savanna, buying her off with lavish gifts and court side seats. He didn’t blame Sav, Levi gave her a story of lies that he always been in love with her and he was too scared to make a move, the gifts didn’t get her…the lies of Levi did. From then on, Ethan had to watch the girl of his dreams be paraded around like a trophy by his former best friend. Things have been rocky ever since, with both guys only getting along for the sake of Savanna. But he wants it’s to be different especially after he hears some interesting news about Levi’s infidelity…he’s just hoping Savanna will believe him and not Levi.

PART II

The Crimson City has taken new shape as The Emerald City, and the booze pours like water. Of course, anyone with foresight will know even a Saint Patrick’s Day celebration can’t go untouched by at least one of the families. The drinks have made their rounds, whether that’s lounged at the bar or courtesy of the green and orange clad waiters delivering martinis on a tray. Everyone found their way to their favorite attraction—more like staggered to their favorite attraction—when the heat pooled at their toes, licked its way up their ankles. Before they knew it, their entire bodies were consumed in heat, reddening their cheeks like a sunburn in the middle of Chicago’s burning summer.

It clicked just a little too late that they had been dosed, and the rage set in before common sense. Something erupted in the crowd, volcanic and angry, and the fights broke out like they were on a schedule. It was chaos; chaos that couldn’t be contained by the police guards eyeing the perimeter to prevent an event like last time. Civilians and family members alike, everyone present, began to lose their grip on reality. Attachments were lost in the wildfire of it all, and those who looked like friends morphed into something to be feared.

The O’Shea creation, BUA, and its side effects come from equal parts LSD, methamphetamines, and cocaine, all without the floating euphoria of feeling high. It’s very capable of killing, even in small doses, and even with the likelihood that you’ll survive, the drug leaves its traces on your brain for weeks after ingestion. BUA comes in all forms, and it can be injected, snorted, and smoked, depending on the vehicle of delivery. BUA is incredibly addictive, and it’s hard enough to get a hold of that anyone who ingests the drug will deal with the aftermath of withdrawals.

Your character, for the time being, is under the influence of BUA, meaning they may act out of character and violent toward their surroundings. That includes friends, enemies, and strangers.

Part II will run from March 20th through March 23rd. For this event, we’ll be throwing characters into groups, so they may interact with whoever they’re teamed up with. Já assistir a serie Full House e vemos claramente uma leve diferença entre as series, tanto por questão da época que foi exibido quanto a trama. Antes a serie tratava de três solteirões cuidando das Crianças do Danny Tunner que havia perdido a esposa, a nova traz o mesmo mas com a filha do Danny, DJ Tunner-Fuller cuidando dos filhos com a irmã Steph e a amiga Kimmy, apos perder o marido. Mas sobre tudo a serie traz a nova vida para a casa mais conhecida em São Francisco dos anos 80 e 90. A história feita como Sitcom é bem gostosa e família, claro tendo a mesma pegada da serie anterior. Mas o que podemos esperar ?

Netflix com esse Spinoff trouxe de volta uma das series que faziam parte da infância de muitas crianças dos 90, claro que ver os novos personagens e o desenvolvimento da trama foi muito bom. Mas ainda sim eu acho que Steve e DJ é passado eu mesmo shipava Dj e Matt. Eles faziam um casal mais bonito, e é claro que o Steve sendo o cara pegajoso e submisso a DJ não faz jus a mulher forte que ela se tornou. E o Matt já é aquele cara mais a cara dela até porque compartilha a mesma paixão que la pela veterinaria. O romance da Steph e do Jimmy para mim é fofo, a maluquinha e o bobalhão. Já a Kimmy e o Fernando é uma coisa bizarra mas que da certo. Traz o alivio cômico completo no casal e nas maluquices, mas que funciona perfeitamente. Fuller House é uma serie ótima bem divertida e gostosa de assistir. Vale a pena conferir.

The Unit - By Ranking Positions

Have not actual ranks in the military due to the covertness of their operations and do not exist on any military record book, however, they do have pull within the military equivalent to a certain rank.

Top Row - Left To Right

"SARGE" - Demon - Very much the fearless leader with a heart of gold under a very rough and harsh exterior. He's a grump, an asshole and emotionally constipated with severe PTSD that he hides with amazing skill to the point as long as he doesn't seek therapy no one knows the truth outside of those in the unit and his mate Calico. Married to Trent Odell Connelly, since neither of them exists it's not considered an issue among the officials, they are still effective and truly The Unit itself does not conform to military regulation due to the fact each of the members is of supernatural origin. Known for giving his men nicknames, with the exception of Trent.

Trent Odell Connelly - Vampire - The old man of the unit but her certainly does not always act it. Often participating in pranks with James despite some of them resulting in the backfiring on the vampire himself. Only member left from the formation of the unit during the American Revolution. Married To Sarge. Second in command with an expert knowledge that spans over 15 centuries of life including weapons training, strategy, diplomacy and much more. Loyal as they come but holds a warrior soul with a strict devotion to family and his brother’s in arms and belief in honor.

Joseph “DOG BREATH” Rico Hernandez - Lycan - Heavy Artillery Specials and Insane Combat Drive. He’s the madman behind the wheel and you really don’t want him to mess up when he’s driving. “Just stop talking he will kill us all, Rough Ryder.” Actually, a very strong believer in non-violence but also not willing to stand by and watch others fight for their country or defend the lives of others without stepping in. Loyal to the core and willing to die for his brothers without hesitation.

Second Row - Left To Right

James “MADMAN” Jacobson - Fire Elemental - There is something seriously wrong in his fucking head. Known for blowing himself up on purpose just to see the effects of a new explosive James has some issues but they don't’ just extend to himself. Anger him and he will gladly roast every fucker who pissed him off and dance in the flames while he listens to the melody of their screams and laughs the entire time. (Yes he’s the crazy dude who laughs psychotically when angry.) A diagnosed Pyromaniac (Discovered after a mishap involving Trent getting blown to shit by what was honestly a mistake but it required some investigation due to the severity) He is truly a sweet man though who loves to laugh and will pull pranks on anyone including himself to see people smile. Explosives are his niche and he won’t let you forget that.

Shane “LAZY ASS” Jericho Tein - Earth Elemental - The alias says it all. He’s lazy as fuck. Albeit he can be motivated if you know the buttons to push. He comes across as disinterested in the world and everything going on but it’s in effect a wall he structures for himself during childhood. His lazy nature likely is linked to his species and like the Earth when he does reach a certain point all hell breaks loose and then he settles down like nothing happened. Sarge is very much the man who coined how to motivate him after he chose the Marine Corps over Juvenile Detention for hot-wiring a car so he could get away from a street gang he owed money to in Hell’s Kitchen, New York and it certainly ended up with plenty of times that the demon was nearly knocked unconscious by flying boulders but hey it worked. Mated to Bruce Hammond. He’s a heavy hitter when he needs to be but he’s quite skilled as a marksman, often taking the high ground and picking off targets rather than hitting the enemy up close and personal. A fairly skilled sniper in the end.

Bruce “ROUGH RIDER” Tyler Hammond - Animal Shifter - Capable of taking the form of any animal he meets in person after the first introduction is great but it comes with a consequence. A libido that does not quit. And perhaps this would cause problems given the fact he is mated to someone and has no intent on slowing down but Shane seems to be understanding of the fact he needs a female and as long as he’s the only man in the shifter’s life he’s happy to live knowing the women he’s with are nothing to the shifter in the end. Though this has resulted in several oopsie babies and there are likely plenty more. Despite this Bruce is an animal lover who grew up on a Ranch and their Corpsman. He may be all play when he’s not got a patient but he sure as hell has no issue setting to the task of saving lives if that’s what he needs to do. He’s a born healer and will even try and get Sarge to make Joey stop so he can take care of that injured dog over there.

The Many Faces Of Connor Brian Connelly

You all know about the giant teddy bear with a sniper rifle who now stands as Master Gunner for The Flying Dutchman. Well, people don’t exactly know the full story or the extent of who Connor truly is. Outside of the sweet man most know are two other sides and one of them is not so nice.

From Left To Right

ConCon - That sweet giant with a heart of gold. This is likely what most people know. He tends to be a bit more reserved but when he trusts someone who can be very loud and friendly. But everyone knows ConCon is just a giant teddy bear who wants a hug. He loves sweets, family and just being a goofy man.

Gunnery Sergeant Connelly - The side most of the military knows and is happy to speak of. A sniper with amazing skill and record book holder for longest distance for a confirmed kill shot (5 Miles out) without a scope. (Comes in handy to be the son of a vampire and human woman.) There is an actual story behind this image itself. During a mission in 2006 in Iraq, his unit’s convoy was hit by an IED. Every member was killed aside from Connor. If it wasn’t enough to see the mangled bodies of his brothers in arms the breaking point for the dhampir was the body of a young child fused the Humvee after being used to stop the convoy. Three days after the lost contact the search team out find a bloodied Connor, exhausted but having taken care of the bodies of his brothers in arms as best he could so they could be returned to their family, making a makeshift memories for the child and the bodies of 20 hostiles who had attempted to overtake the village they were en route to during after the convoy was destroyed. He was severely injured in the blast but had managed to fight through the pain, massive shrapnel damage to his body that he had yet to remove and was sitting there as though he was enjoying the pain he was in without a doubt. The image itself is based on the funeral held for his fellow Marines and the guilt he still feels for surviving.

The Hound - The myth of The Hound is spread widely through the Marines. And despite being common scuttlebutt no one believes the stories. Claimed as simple scuttlebutt and urban myth/. Three months after the IED that killed his brothers in arms the rumors began. A man who was sent in to take out those who no one else could. To take care of problems that the Military could not afford to lose lives on. And in truth, The Hound and Gunnery Sergeant Connelly are on in the same man. But they exist in different worlds. The Hound is a myth, a rumor. The Gunnery Sergeant Connelly? After the incident, the Lance Corporal jumped ranks suddenly. It was assumed due to heroism in the line of duty and going above and beyond the call and that is exactly what The Hound’s handlers want everyone to believe. For the two to exist separately. To let the hero and legend remain tangible while the horrible myth of a one-man force capable of killing anyone and anything in his path and coined with his code name as a reminder that once he has the scent he will hunt you down and take you out. A vast difference from the disciplined soul of the Gunnery Sergeant or the gentle giant everyone stateside knows. Disclaimer: I know there will be some errors for all you military personnel, I do try to do my research but this is a work of fiction so be aware of this. I am always researching and learning however and if I catch errors I do make attempts to edit them. I do know a lot of their designs are not acceptable to military dresscode but this is fiction and I did have them adapt during any time they are deployed.

finally found some time to work on this blog, some stuff came up a few months back that made me have to stop. But I'm cleaning up my profiles and am down for any plotting/discussions/suggestions for who to follow!!

Alian Dmitrievich Romanov - my interpretation of Natasha's father, former (frustrated) spymaster for the Tsar which in typical Marvel fashion gets ridiculously flung into the present era.

Andre Rios Hernandez - mutant based OC who likes archery and taking care of a the little guy

Annalee Louis - geneticist and doctor secret mutant hero with illusion and telekinesis powers. Runs a specialized clinic in NYC for down and out mutants

Casimir Stan - vampire based superhero who is also a journalist, specializing in reporting on strange phenomena.

Damjan Kasun - mutant mercenary/assassin who I was told to make into a WinterWidow kid because he looked like a WinterWidow kid so here we are.

Joseph "Joey" Rogers II - Steve's younger brother because Steve gives me older brother vibes, not younger brother vibes like they tried to do in the silver (?) era. He took an experimental serum and had to be frozen because it had bad side effects until they could fix it.

Katrina van Huerten - spy with longevity due to experiments unlocking some recessive genetic traits from WWII.

Megan Willis - Half human half alien powerhouse. Father was an alien prince who went into exile because his brother wanted the throne.

Michelle "Mikey" Scott - Casimir Stan's cousin, a photographer who travels with him and is also a magic user.

Sumati Thomas - a psychiatrist for superheroes because we all know they need one.

Tesni Le'Clair - demigoddess daughter of Apollo with sun based powers. Artist in New Orleans.

Vladimir Fyodorovich Garin - I wanted a Red Room Evil Scientist OC so I made one who experimented on himself because he read Nathaniel Essex's papers from the 1800s and was fascinated by the concept of human evolution and wanted to create serums to push that.

From the Hospital to an Old Navy: Thanksgiving at Work

For many Americans, Thanksgiving is synonymous with domestic leisure — turkey roasting in the oven, football on TV, family gathered around the dining table. But across the United States, millions of people spend at least part of the holiday at work — doctors, firefighters, police officers, reporters, waiters, cashiers, gas-station attendants, concession-stand operators, professional athletes. The reasons people work on Thanksgiving are as varied as the jobs themselves: to make a little extra money, to satisfy the demands of an overbearing boss, to keep the community safe. For some, Thanksgiving duty is a hardship, or at least an inconvenience. At many workplaces, however, employees have forged holiday traditions out of a shared obligation, organizing office dinners and pie-making contests or inviting family members to visit.“It doesn’t seem like I’m spending time away from my family,” said Olivia Marshall, a nurse who spent Thanksgiving working in the cancer unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. “It’s like I’m with another part of my family.”On Thursday, staff members in the cancer unit at Mass General held a Thanksgiving potluck with green-bean casserole and pumpkin cake. Ms. Marshall, 24, brought pumpkin whoopie pies, a favorite of her colleagues. She planned to celebrate a second Thanksgiving on Friday with her parents. Dan Storley, 55, has spent about half a dozen Thanksgivings working in the firehouse, and he has missed eating with his family, especially as his parents have gotten older. A few years ago, Mr. Storley brought his wife to the firehouse for Thanksgiving dinner. Then a report came through of a blaze at a nearby construction project. “The minute we sat down to dinner, there was a fire,” he said, “and all the family had to sit there by themselves.”This year, Mr. Storley went to work alone. And it was a busy evening: A call came in at 4:45 p.m., just as the turkey was about to be carved. In a decade at Old Navy, Kyle Albers has always worked on Thanksgiving, a crucial day for retailers preparing for the holiday shopping rush. These days, the closest he gets to his family’s gathering in St. Louis is a video call. But Mr. Albers, 36, does his best to create holiday cheer at work. For the last two years, he has managed a store where employees compete in a pie-making contest and play board games in the break room. “From a business standpoint, it’s about being there for the customers and maximizing those days,” Mr. Albers said. But the ultimate goal of the Thanksgiving festivities, he said, is to make employees “really feel like they’re a part of something bigger than just punching into work.�� Since 1966, the Dallas Cowboys have played on Thanksgiving almost every year (the holiday streak was broken twice in the 1970s), a tradition that continued with a disappointing 26-15 defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills on Thursday. But he and the rest of the Cowboys were not the only ones on call at AT&T Stadium on Thursday: Behind the scenes, thousands of game-day staff members worked throughout the holiday, running control booths and selling concessions, among other responsibilities. They also ate a Thanksgiving meal at the stadium, dining on turkey, ham, cornbread casserole and cranberry sauce. Joseph Hernandez, a concessions supervisor at AT&T Stadium, has been spending Thanksgiving with the Cowboys since 2004, when he and his father started going to the annual game, munching on turkey sandwiches in the parking lot before kickoff. Now, Mr. Hernandez, 39, helps oversee a team of concessions workers responsible for feeding tens of thousands of fans, some of whom prefer nachos or hamburgers to traditional Thanksgiving fare. Over the years, he said, he has learned that the holiday means different things to different people. “Not everyone enjoys it the same,” he said. For Fred Miller, there’s no downside to working on Thanksgiving. His bosses buy the crew dinner (this year it was Domino’s Pizza) and he is paid time-and-a-half for the shift. “I’m willing to sacrifice for that,” Mr. Miller said.When he got off work on Thursday, Mr. Miller, 43, headed to his sister’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. He expected to arrive just as the family was sitting down to eat. Thanksgiving in the newsroom was a cheerful affair, with a dinner spread from the restaurant chain Marie Callender’s featuring turkey, mashed potatoes, cornbread and stuffing. Joey Santos, a senior designer who spent Thanksgiving laying out the news group’s largest paper, The Orange County Register, said he had grown to enjoy spending the evening with “a lot of people you would never in a million years think you would have a holiday with.” As for missing his family’s Thanksgiving gathering, Mr. Santos, 44, takes a philosophical approach. “The cherished moments of my life have to be chosen by me — they can’t be chosen by the calendar,” he said. “I’ve always viewed the holidays as just another day, really.
