Hiya!

I think it depends on which one you mean:

For the Scalemate/Terezi cane I believe I used @violasarecool 's tutorial which can be found here.

For the Moonlight Gentleman one I had to figure that out on my own!

I used a reference I found online of it from the game & started drawing it by hand in firealpaca, then I printed out the reference I made & cut the pieces- doing basically the same process I had done with Michael Cane. X3

I believe this was the sheet I made back then around 2021. v v v

Finally achieved my goal of getting some fun fall pics of Moonlight Gentleman!! Right in time for Halloween too :) We went at just the right time to capture the beautiful colors of the autumn leaves 🍁 Big thank you to my sister for the awesome pics. Now to hibernate until spring!

Okay so I have been working on this I just. Forgot about posting updates for this and thought huh I should probably give an update somehow. That said I have yet to take pictures of the for the most part completed shirt, pants and vest, so have an in progress picture of making the chains that go with this:

This. Is 1” insulation foam board. Yes I am cutting these stupidly precise pieces into thinner pieces. I am using a utility knife which is very sharp, but I am being as safe as possible considering I have no thick gloves. Namely by cutting these very, very carefully and holding them by the edge as firmly as possible to avoid these tiny little blocks from slipping off the edge of the foam board. And I’m numbering them because I have to cut each one in half to cut the insides out and glue them back together as connected chains. And I gotta bevel the edges. So that will probably be done by sanding because I like the skin of my fingers to be largely intact and not split apart. Sorry this got long winded.

Okay so the Hisuian Zoroark crochet plush has been out on hold indefinitely because I can’t find my white yarn and I picked a very, VERY detailed cosmetic to cosplay for Halloween. If any of y’all that somehow see this know, Necromancer Joseph Desaulniers from Identity V is who I chose.

More specifically, out of camera form for the glowing hair.

Yes I am probably going to lose my mind over parts of this.

But I will persevere, bc I’ve already committed far too much and I have the shirt done.

worked more on my joseph cosplay today. the most tedious part is over i think and it’s is starting to come together so that’s nice. this past week was also my spring break so i had a little break from homework, not that i’m taking a lot of classes or anything but it was still nice. got an email from my college tho about how i’m behind in my graduation schedule and how i’m not gonna be able to graduate on time and it’s just like. sighs. yeah. i know. everything got set back and i feel. like a failure. i worked on fic yesterday but i have yet to post any new chapters. i got my hair cut and dyed the other day too so at least now i am feeling a little bit like myself again. i cannot express how much having long hair killed me every day. played some idv surv rank which went about as poorly as u might except but at least i did it. i am posting this all here because it’s my blog and i can post what i want and i also don’t have anywhere to output my idle thoughts and things that happened today because i have no one to talk to. that is all thank you

I’m Greed! Or Huldra! Or Pretty! Or Abba! You may think thats a lot of names and you’re right! I have very many!

I’m the one who fills the queue and talks a lot. I’m 26 and a Joseph main (my posts are tagged with the camera emoji or just CAMERA), my personal blog on here is acreaturecalledgreed though I request you do not follow if you are under 18.

I do a lot of art and crafty things ranging from drawing to painting to doll modding to cosplay b/c i get very bored very easily, and I collect dead things and greatly enjoying researching and learning about new things.

I am slowly on my way to getting a degree in biology and intend to pick up taxidermy when I move. I also have a very good dog and a very good little snake that ppl are welcome to ask about at any time.

I also love worldbuilding and character analysis.

i don’t post much right now due to being busy, but i write meta here and sometimes reblog things, or comment on things greed reblogs down in the tags. i use the coffin emoji as a signature on this blog so y’all know it’s me. similarly, greed uses the camera emoji (or CAMERA in allcaps, which i try to go back and change out for the emoji but eh, we’re behind on that so both tags are for them).

i’m 32 (old, i know) and i main jack, but aesop is my favorite idv character next to joseph. my main blog is ghostemoji, and i follow back/like/comment from there. i also have a sideblog for random reblogs at newtyperesearch. my personal is mutuals-only. i like reading books and comics/manga, writing fic when i can manage the spoons, and painting. i also like dead things (bones especially) and living animals. i have a little black cat, a rescued spider, and a colony of snails and marimo in a bucket. 

i’ve done the college thing and am now working an office job. i’m so tired. i don’t get to play idv as much as i’d like and i’ve stopped playing ranked entirely, but i still play a few matches with greed and the rest of our clubper week.
