My Lawyer Dio AU

I just want to clarify that I looked the characters up and researched if their birthdays were established. I’m keeping the canon ones and just made up some for those who don’t have a specified birthday.

We all know that Dio finished law school by the time he was 20 or 21 years old and 120/121 by the time Giorno was four. So I’ll just take this and move everything to the “modern” time.

Which basically means that Jonathan and Dio were born in 1967/68 instead of 1867/68.

But first of all, I’d like to specify that Stands still exist and Jonathan has his wonderful Hermit Purple but with roses. I’ll come up with a name later, I guess.

Also, since Jonathan is very much alive, Dio has his own body and is therefore still his canon height (185cm/6 ft 1 in)

To elaborate further:

Jonathan was born on April 4, 1968

He was 20 in Part 1, so I’ll just keep that in this AU as well. Only difference is that it’s 1989.

Now, I like to think that Dio’s older despite coming to the family later, which is really funny. Like, imagine you’re an only child until one day your father adopts a boy who’s like a year older than you and you end up having an older brother who’s the total opposite of you.

Since there’s no specific birthday, I’ll just make something up. Sooo… Dio: January 2, 1967

Obviously, this is also mudad, so I’m keeping his sons’ canon birth dates. But this also brings a few issues, if you will.

Giorno was born on April 16, 1985, which means that Dio was 18 when our Disney Princess was born.

He’s canonically a manwhore and I don’t intend on changing that anytime soon. He simply fucked around a lot in his last year of high school and the entirety of law school and ended impregnating four women.

I’ve checked and there aren’t canon birthdays for the other three, as well. All we know are their birth years. More to come up with for me.

Donatello: March 12, 1987

The thing is, despite being born in the same year, I like the thought of Rikiel being a few months older than Ungalo even tho he’s the local crybaby at home.

Rikiel: February 25, 1988

Ungalo: September 10, 1988

Now, Dio’s not the only one with children and I want to include George II and Erina too. George II’s canon birth year is 1889, so I’ll keep that as well but it’ll mean that Giorno, Donatello, Rikiel and Ungalo are older than him.

Since he doesn’t have a specific birthday, I’ll just add nine months to Jonathan’s canon date of death, which is February 7, 1889.

George II: November 11, 1989

Guess what, Erina also doesn’t have a specified birthday!! We only know that it’s some time in 1869. Hmmmmmm…..

I want her birthday to be in June, to be honest.

Erina: June 26, 1969

Let’s not forget the grandpa, of course. The only thing I’ve found out is that he died in 1888. I want him to be 45, which would mean that he’d be born in 1843.

So, we’ll just take that and move it to the 20th century and we get May 16, 1943.

Let’s get to how our local hoe finds out about his sons. As I’ve already mentioned, Dio was 18 when Giorno was born but he didn’t know and obviously didn’t get custody right then.

It went like this:

Homeboy was sitting in his study in the year 1990 and was going over the most recent case, when one of the butlers came in and delivered a letter.

It was signed by all four of his past flings and it said that all four of them had a son each. They gave him a location to meet ‘cause neither of them really wanted the custody of them. At first, Dio thought that it might be a lie to get money since he’s the adopted son of a famous aristocrat but he also believed that it might be true.

Jonathan found out, because of course he did, and immediately sent a butler to get the car ready so that Dio could go. Dio didn’t have another choice but to do so, since his lovely brother just had to get involved.

Turns out the letter was honest to God and Dio came back with a five-year-old who had pitch black hair, a three-year-old with brown hair and two one-year-olds in his arms, one of which had dark skin and black hair with hot pink highlights styled into locs and the other with unusual pistachio green hair.

Welp, at least George II wouldn’t have to grow up alone🤷 anyway-

George I was delighted to have even more grandsons but he didn’t exactly approve of Dio being a manwhore, since that’s the opposite of how he raised his sons to be.

I want to include D’Arby and Vanilla Ice (as well as Hol Horse and maybe a few others of the Agents of DIO) as Dio’s personal butlers because it’s fun to imagine his sons judging them because of their fanatical loyalty to Dio, but I’m not sure how.

I’ll probably make him move into a different manor maybe four years later, where he has his own (canon) butlers/servants, whatever you want to call them. But I’ll obviously let them stay in England, a grandpa and an uncle want to see the kids, okay?

Dio still has his shithead asshole personality but he doesn’t go as far as wanting to kill his adoptive family and trying to claim the inheritance via vampirism, to the point where he literally wants to achieve heaven.

Nah, this man cares for them but is extremely bad at showing it, even though Jonathan and George know. Jonathan always knows. Dio had to learn the hard way that he can’t hide shit from his brother.

He has a good relationship with Erina, they constantly make fun of each other and hey, would you look at that! He didn’t forcefully kiss her when they were twelve!! She can kick ass and he acknowledges and respects that.

Coming back to the Stands, Dio noticed that The World is very useful with four rat children who can do nothing but cause chaos and misery for him. Especially when one or all of them decide that running into traffic is how they want to spend their evening.

I’m not exactly sure but I think it’s established in canon that Giorno is the only one who’s a born Stand User. I’ll change that in this AU and make his brothers born Stand User as well.

The years pass, blablabla, Giorno still takes over the Italian Mafia because he can and gets rich even tho he already is and his brothers still don’t know what to do when they’re adults.

But! They find out their older brother has started dating some dude (“his name’s Hugo or something.” “are you stupid, it’s Fugo” “Gugo, like I said.”) and they spy on them when they’re out on a date.

Dio doesn’t exactly care if or whom his sons date, or which gender that person has since he’s a bisexual slut who keeps sleeping around, but he’ll make sure that neither of the four are taken advantage of and checks their partners’ backgrounds and lifestyles behind their backs.

Now, adding the fact that he’s a slut to his career as a lawyer: he wins every case.

Reason number one: he’s beautiful

Reason number two: he’s charismatic

Reason number three: he’s manipulative

Reason number four: he’s cunning

Reason number five: he’s convincing

Reason number six: he sleeps with the judge when his client is actually guilty

One of his sons: are you ever gonna give us a stepmother or stepfather?

Dio, planning his next one-night-stand: step-what?

He reluctantly leaves his sons in the care of his obnoxious brother when he has to go somewhere for work-related purposes. He’d rather die, though. (When they were children, at least. When they were 15/13/12/12, he began leaving them at home in hopes of finding it still in one piece later)

It’s basically a huge mess with a lot of chaos and misuse of some Stands (“didn’t I tell you two to stop using your Stands in the mansion?” “Ungalo started it.” “LIAR! Donatello started it.”) but it’s also fun and Dio wouldn’t trade it for anything.

He promised himself to never stoop down to the level of his piece of shit birth father, and he’s keeping that promise.

Oh yeah, he still poisons Dario before being adopted by George I. Normal, am I right?

Hi! Here's some stuff about a celebrity-themed AU I've been formulating in my head since last year. I'll probs post more later when I'm less sleep deprived :')) I do have major ideas though, so hope you like 'em!

☆ passione is a modelling agency/magazine ran entirely by diavolo. it's one of the most famous companies in the world, and also one of the more relaxed ones. technically diavolo's twin brother doppio and doppio's now wife donatella helped form it, but they all agreed it'd be easier for diavolo to head it. doppio works as a photographer there, while donatella is a model.

☆ the joestars are essentially the hilton family of this au. most people know their names because they're famous in their own fields outside of the family. for instance, jonathan is an archeologist, dio (who is now a biological joestar) is a lawyer/agent/manager, jotaro is a marine biologist with several documentaries under his belt, and so on.

☆ if the joestars are the hiltons, then the part 8 higashikatas are the kardashians. they have their own reality TV show chronicling their lives, known by all as keeping up with the higashikatas. some major specials were jobin and mitsuba's wedding, the twins' (rina and joshu) sweet sixteens and later daiya's, kaato being released from prison, and hato's explosive break-up with tamaki damo.

☆ elizabeth is still married to george ii/jorge joestar, and she has her own fashion house known as lisa lisa. working under her are caesar zeppeli and suzi q, who both have their own ideas on which direction the brand's image should go. their rival is kars and the other pillar men's own label. (unnamed as of right now)

☆ diego is jonathan and dio's younger stepbrother through his mother marrying their father when diego was a kid. diego had always been closer with jonathan, while he always had a tense relationship with dio. as an adult, diego is a professional driver and looks after his nephews; dio's own sons.

☆ jolyne has an underground band with ermes and f.f. called the stone frees! they perform at a grungy venue known as green dolphin, named for its famous neon green dolphin sign. outside of performing, they're usually seen hanging out in ermes' sister gloria's restaurant. they tend to give it free publicity where they can.

jolyne also goes by cujoh in an attempt to distance herself from her father, and to prevent herself from being accused of nepotism.

☆ johnny was a former movie star who quit performing after a major accident rendered him unable to walk. his father hired a physical therapist for him named gyro zeppeli, and barred him from any other visitors out of a sense of shame. however, johnny's older brother nicholas tends to allow guests to see him anyway when their father's away. johnny also keeps in contact with rina higashikata, but that's a secret!

☆ josuke (no relation to the part 8 higashikatas) is an aspiring hairdresser/celebrity stylist, and he often asks to practice on other people. he religiously reads the cinderella magazine for tips and ideas on what to do next and his idol is aya tsuji, who he dreams of working alongside someday.

☆ gappy is yoshikage and kei's younger brother. he's not technically a celebrity, but he often shows up on kuwth due to being childhood friends with joshu and rina. people often joke about him being their missing triplet, though he always denies it. he does see the higashikatas as a second family, however.

☆ giorno is a model under passione, which he joined beneath his father's nose at both diego and his best friend perla's suggestion. when dio found out, he demanded for giorno to allow him to be his agent due to his superior connection. refusing, giorno instead left to live with diego whilst bruno bucciarati became his agent instead. the two people who oversaw giorno's casting were man x (will be referred to as michel) and polpo.

☆ after giorno left, dio began to acknowledge his other three sons; donatello, ungalo, and rikiel. he began with taking custody of donatello, and pushed him into joining a modelling agency as well. he manufactured a rivalry between donatello and giorno, though giorno's more interested in saving all his brothers from their father's influence than anything.

☆ jodio and dragona are both popular on social media. dragona enjoys posting ootds, makeup tutorials, and storytimes, whilst jodio does (awful) skateboarding tricks and skits. sometimes he'll join dragona's storytimes and makeup tutorials, or they'll both do various challenges and skits together.

☆ more stuff to come later!

Made an AU where the Joestars are a family so decided to make a family tree, went a bit over board,

so here is how it started I added in a couple people at the top for connections sake, (note that the first Jorge is only called that to avoid a fourth George being on this forsaken tree.)

Jotaro's side looks pretty normal, I kept Kakyoin has Jota's Godfather, though they have no biological relation here, also Anasui and Jolyne are only dating, but I wanted to put most people on the tree. Name changes for this branch are giving adult Holly her self chosen japanese name, and making up a name for Jolyne's Mom. I think it would be funny if her maiden name is Cujoh so Joylne is doing the name thing to say she likes her Mom more. (also Araki stated he meant for his name to be Tenmei and his editor misread the kanji so yeah.)

To make Johnny here I made George be living a double life, the idea is the would find out after George dies in the new version of phantom blood, everyone manages to come together as one family in the end even if Johnny feels weird about him and Jonathan sharing a name.

(note Straizo is also here, and is a vampire but I am not taking an image just for him.) Erina's Father is only named in the musical, and her mother not at all but I think it fits. Also Speedwagon was like for real a father figure to both George II and Joseph so yeah Godfather Speedwagon.

Deigo is on here, the Johns accept him as another brother in the shit dads squad (Jonathan, Johnny and Dio). Diego earns the screenshot.

The Pucci side of Dio's polycule I decided to make Foo a sentient stand who Pucci split off of their user, and whom Weather adopted, Weather is a teacher at Green Dolphin school in Florida, I also made Green Baby more of a person so his name is Gabby. Dio was a bisexual disaster in his youth after turning into a vampire so when he found out about Giorno he went on a bit of baby hunting quest with Vanilla.

speaking of Giorno, his foster families have both been added to the chart,

Dio is quite friendly to Bruno and Leone, though he hates Diavolo with a passion.

Doppio and Diavolo still share a body here by the way.

Now for Joseph, not to much to say here other than that Suzy and Tomoko after overcoming the initial feeling of betrayal have now settled into a happy if sometimes strained polyamory, also Wammu is his ex-fiance but the two are now on good terms. Oh also Speedwagon part 2 is now separate from Speedwagon part 1

I added Strohiem as Santana's foster parent for the funny.

I made Tomoko siblings with Norisuke Iv and Rina from parts 7 and 8, to better tie the families together, which means that Josuke and George III are cousins through their mothers and second cousins via their fathers.

Also Josuke and Josuke are legally cousins via adoption which is neat.( I named Mitsuba's unamed baby Loacaca has a placeholder not for real) honestly nothing major changed over here.

some diversions, I made Yasuho Koichi's older sister and named Mansaku's stand but nothing major.( Tree-wise)

The other Kujos are unremarkable, the Kiras though? they relate back to the orginal Joestar family through Holly, plus I added Yoshikage part 4 to the mix of Kira siblings, though he is renamed Kosaku, since otherwise he shares a name with a sibling. In the AU he is currently in jail while his loving wife delivers him food and company. He likes the routine of the prison system, and Hayato fucking hates him for winning Shinobu over. Also Jodio and Dragona are here.

I'm 100% sure he would mostly be the antithesis of mer baby Joseph. He would be a sweet little mer baby, well-behaved but also super curious about everything he sees, with the difference that he's more the kind of child who observes and asks questions (sometimes a lot of them, lol) as opposed to Joseph breaking things and then asking questions.

Much like Joseph and Jonathan, I think Jorge (George? not sure how to call him, but either work tbh) would be a playful and fun loving mer, too.

And, just like Jonathan, he too will eventually grow to be as tall/long as Jonathan (just slightly less bulky/muscly).

Annnnd yesssss, I would love love love to see Jonathan and Speedwagon taking care of him

First, I would like to preach to you a concept/AU brought forth by the talented @jojo-reader-hell : Giorno getting to truly be Jonathan’s son with a nice mother (Such as my insert OC Juliette; Is that an okay name?). And by extent, Jonathan gets two women because he is awesome and deserves the world.

Ooh! That sounds interesting! Giorno deserves having parental love! And yes, Jonathan the gentleman deserves the world (Warudo!). I'm always loving Jonadad!

What I can imagine is that Jonathan, Erina, Juliette, and Jorge II are informed of Giorno's situation as soon as the Speedwagon can track the last remaining members of DIO's harem. They immediately catch a flight to Italy in order to locate Giorno. When they do, they're told to observe Giorno's surroundings for some time before they intervene.

It does not take them even a week to spring into action.

Juliette is ready to throw hands at both Giorno's mother and Giorno's stepfather for what they did to the poor boy with Erina following suit. Jorge and Jonathan have to hold them back even though they aren't happy with Mrs. Shiobana and Mr. Giovanna. Jonathan has to be the one to be diplomatic with them, stating why they are here. Jorge has to peek inside and spots Giorno.

Giorno is shivering, with torn clothes, bruises, and tears in his eyes. It is quite a jolt of reality to see this child all hurt and neglected. Jorge II is immediately reminded of Joseph, Holly, and Jotaro. Smiling gently, he kneels down carefully as to not scare Giorno. And Giorno feels like he can immediately trust him.

Mrs. Shiobana tries to protest, but Giorno trembles as he clings onto Jorge II. Anyone who shows the slightest bit of kindness towards his person must be a good person like that gangster who saved him. Not even five seconds of showing Giorno to the others and already, Erina, Juliette and Jonathan are showering Giorno in affection.

Juliette gets her revenge on behalf of Giorno on both his mother and his step-father by throwing hands.

Giorno is raised in love and affection and grows up to be a more open hearted young man. He still has the dreams of becoming a GangStar, but he's more willing and trusting to his allies, who are also in need of some Jonadad affection and spoiling!
