Tumblr media
Say anything, Y/N. Talk about the weather!
But I couldn’t. I couldn’t think of anything else, except for what happened last night. I felt my heart just race, remembering Jimin’s expression last night. I hope my face isn’t red. I couldn’t pinpoint what emotion overcame me last night. I have been attracted to other people before, and I’m pretty sure it's normal to fantasize about celebrities, such as Adam Driver. Whatever I was feeling last night was nothing like attraction...it felt more sexual...OH MY GO-
“Y/N?” Jimin said as he waved his hand in my face. I flinched away, causing him to flinch as well. “What’s the matter? You’re breathing heavily.”
“Wow!” I exclaimed, I flinched once more. I was unnecessarily loud. “This weather is something else, oh are we here? Cool!”
I then hop out of my jeep, Jimin quickly scrambles to follow me into Petco. I quickly pull out my phone and open the notes application. I found the file of Yuki’s favorite treats and what cat food she likes best. I didn't notice that Jimin went ahead and got a cart until he gently bumped into me.
“Lead the way,” Jimin said with a dazzling smile. I felt a pain blossom in my chest. I felt my eyes water and before he could notice I cleared my throat and furiously began to blink my eyes to keep the tears at bay. I felt my face turn red once I remembered my breakdown in the shower yesterday. I walked ahead of him to the cat food aisle. There were people with their dogs shopping and kids excitedly looking at the aquariums and other animals they had displayed.
Once we turned into the familiar aisle, an excited familiar voice shouted out.
“Miss!” said the familiar employee, as he put down a couple packages of cat food. I felt Jimin stiffen by me. “I was wondering why you haven’t come this week!”
“Oh,” I sighed, ruffling my hair nervously, I inconspicuously glanced at his nametag. “Hi, Junhong, how have you been?”
“Good,” He said smiling and also ruffling his hair. I had to look up at him to get a good look at his face. He had a couple of new piercings in his ears and his tattoos were seen through the white longsleeve he wore under his uniform. “Did you run out of cat food for Yuki?”
“Yea,” I said sheepishly, feeling a bit embarrassed. “I forgot to buy some,  I usually come before-”
“Before you run out,” Junhong finished for me. Jimin then clears his throat and Junhong quickly glances at him but simply smiles. “I was actually in the middle of stocking, but there should be some of the cat food you usually buy in the back, Jongup will give it to you.”
I politely nodded and started heading toward the back, not hearing him radio his coworker.
*
“Hyung,” Junhong said into his radio. “The noona you like is back! She’s on her way to the back, don’t mess up!”
Tumblr media
                                  Jimin
Here I was thinking that if I came along with her on this shopping trip, I could finally be alone with Y/N but even here I am competing against all these guys. Even with me there right next to her, this guy-Jongup I guess is his name-- literally sprints from wherever he was in the back and shamelessly stares at her as he attempts to hand her a huge bag of cat food.
“I got this,” I say stepping between them to grab the cat food. He looks startled almost as if he didn’t even realize I was there. Seriously…
“Thank you,” Y/N says with her signature smile and just as she’s about to turn around, the guy speaks up.
“How’s Yuki doing?” Jongup says attempting to start a conversation. All the while he keeps glancing at me, confusion evident in his eyes. “She hasn’t come in a while, doesn’t she need her claws cut?”
“She’s fine,” Y/N replies nonchalantly, inclining her head in confusion. “I think I set an appointment sometime next month for her to get groomed..”
“You usually come every month for that…” he says. The guy is starting to get on my nerves.
“Yea, money is a little tight, plus I have guests now..” Y/N said, this time I could tell she was feeling a little awkward. He takes another glance at me, much to my annoyance, she notices this time. “Oh, this is Jimin, my friend. He just offered to come help me, plus we have plans after this...”
“We should go, the others must be waiting,” I say feeling a bit pleased that she referred to me as a friend instead of as a guest.
“Oh,” Jongup says in realization.  “Anyway do you think you have some spare time next weekend? Zelo-I mean Junhong and I were competing in this dance competition at the festival for charity…maybe we can have dinner after?”
Why can’t this guy take a hint?
All the while he was talking, he was nervously pulling his sleeves up, revealing his Mark. His Mark was a faded marble. Faded..his Soulmate..
“Sure that seems like fun,” Y/N replies with a soft smile, I felt my heart drop. “Maybe the other guests would enjoy that!”
In spite of her agreeing, Jongup didn’t seem pleased with her answer. Of course she wants to go as a group. I guess Jungkook was right, she is quite clueless about dating(Much to my relief). She doesn’t even know he’s asking her out. It’s not her fault though, this guy has probably never asked out a girl... he probably never had the chance to, but still. It wasn’t like I was gonna let him.
But wait.
Is this normal behavior? I’m sure people have weird ways of mourning, I’m not really one to judge. I only did that because I was so sure Y/N rejected me, but would I have done the same if she died? I take one more quick glance at his Mark, it doesn’t seem to be too faded away, so his Soulmate must have died not too long ago. Why does it seem that this guy seems so sure of himself? He’s not even nervous about who I am. Maybe I’m overreacting. But-
“Jimin?” Y/N said quietly. I flinch and I realized they were both staring at me. “You and Hobi both majored in dance right?”
“Yea,” I shrugged. “Hyung majored in hip hop and I did more contemporary..”
“Oh!” Jongup said excitedly. “Are you Korean?”
“Yes,” I replied. “We should really get going Y/N. I’m sure Jin-hyung is losing his mind.”
“Oh yea!” She says and her eyes go wide in fear. She pulls out her phone and it starts ringing, she quickly answers. “I’m on my way! Yes I know! Yea we can go when I drop off the stuff.”
“Bye Jongup!” Y/N says as she rushes to push the cart to the cat litter aisle, leaving me alone with Jongup.
*
“It’s fascinating,” Jongup says with a smile. “There’s not a lot of Korean people in this town, so it's quite surprising to see you here.”
*
I shrug and I start to walk after Y/N, not really in the mood to have small talk, but he follows.
“See you next weekend!” Y/N says coming from the aisle, and she quickly gestures for me to take the cart. “I have to go get some fancy feasts! I have a coupon!”
Once she came back, she paid and we started heading back to her Jeep. She quickly hops into the driver's seat and we head back home. Once we are halfway, is when I start to feel nervous. I want to ask how she got so friendly with those employees but I’m not sure if that was overstepping any boundaries. It was at this moment I felt envious towards Taehyung. Even Jungkook for that matter, they would have not hesitate to ask her how she knows them.
“Jimin,” Y/N sighs. I felt tense. “I wanted to ask you something.”
“Go ahead,” I replied nervously. “You can ask me anything.”
“Do you perhaps hate me?” She asks, clutching the steering wheel. “I don’t understand you...the past two days you seem -”
“I don’t hate you,” I answered feeling tears pool in my eyes. “I could never hate you, why-”
“If not,” Y/N interrupts me. “Have I done or said anything to upset you?”
“Why are you asking me this?”
“Because you were my first friend.” Y/N says putting the car in park. I didn’t even realize we were on the driveway. “I understand that just because we were childhood friends, it doesn’t exactly mean we have to be friends now.”
“What are you talking about? Of course we’re friends!” I say in disbelief but a part of me understood what she was saying. The me from yesterday would agree with her. Before I found out about her Mark. “Listen I’m sorry about yesterday, I shouldn’t have gotten angry and left with that girl, she only approached me because of you and-”
“What?”
FUCK
Tumblr media
“The girl you went to the rave with knows me?” I say confused. Her face flashes in my eyes and I feel my spine stiffen and my heart drop. I quickly pull out my phone and open Instagram. I quickly scrolled past the cat pictures and in my friend suggestions was her. Her most recent post was Jimin and her. “Melanie Cruz…”
“Y/N?” Jimin says nervously. I felt my eyes spring with tears and the air felt so thick, I couldn’t catch my breath.
“Why do you always wear sweaters?” Melanie sneered. “Aren’t you hot? Or are you hiding something?”
“Y/N?”
“Where’s your sweater loser?” Melanie laughed with her friends. “Have you tried the bathroom?”
“Aww,” Melanie sighs from behind me. There my sweater was in a clogged toilet. Soiled. “Well at least you have your T-shirt still..”
“Why are you still wearing your PE shirt!” Melanie says as she slams me against the locker room door, leaving me dazed from the impact. Before I could stop her, she forces my sleeves down and I hear her gasp. “Here I thought you had a really embarrassing Mark like a rat or something but you don’t even have one! Wait until the whole school finds out!”
“Y/n!” Jimin shouts and I flinch. He’s shaking my shoulder and before he reaches up to wipe my tears, I shove him away. He looks at me in shock and I stare right back. Did he know? Did she tell him? I unconsciously clutched my arm and his eyes followed my movement and his eyes filled with regret. He knew. “It doesn’t even matter! I don’t ca-”
“Let’s go!” Jin sings songs from the porch, startling the both of us. I quickly grab the sunglasses from the console and put them on right before Jin could lean into my open window. Jimin is rigid in the passenger seat. “Why didn’t you text me back? Where do they sell napa cabbage? Everything okay here?”
I nod and smile the best I could but Jin didn’t really look convinced. Before he could question us further on it though, out came the rest of the boys.
“So I fed Yuki a fancy feast Y/N,” Namjoon says. “But I really think you should trim her claws. She scratched me!”
“Hyung,” Jungkook said, rolling his eyes. “I told you that she only lets Noona pet her while she eats...Yuki is a rescue pet and only trusts Noona around her hunt...what’s the matter Noona?”
“Are you all coming to get supplies for side dishes?” I ask, grateful that my voice didn’t waver but also ignoring Jungkook’s piercing gaze. Taehyung was also trying to get Jimin’s attention. Both Yoongi and Hobi were swinging their clasped hands and waiting by the SUV.
“I told them that we would need help carrying everything and that I would only need 2 extra people but they all insist on coming.” Jin sighs. “We probably have to go in the SUV.”
“Um okay,” I sigh awkwardly, sliding out of the car but before I closed it, I noticed a USB on the floor wedged between the door and the seat, I quickly put it in my pocket and closed the door. Everyone else headed to the sidewalk where the SUV was parked. “Jin?”
“Yea?” He asked, already unlocking the door to the SUV.
“I’m gonna just stay and take a shower,” I say shrugging my hair. From the corner of my eye, I see Jimin freeze and turn around and face me real quick. “Plus I feel a headache coming.”
“But I don’t know where to go..” Jin says reluctantly.
“I know where to go hyung!” Jungkook says helpful and I felt my body sigh in relief. Jin still seemed unsure but he shrugged his shoulders and hopped into the driver’s seat. I quickly glanced at Jimin and he was staring at me intensely. I’m sure he wanted to ask me a lot of questions and even though I was horrified at the thought of him possibly being disgusted by me, I really wanted to know what he meant about not caring. Did he not care that I don’t have a Mark? Or does he not care about what she may have said about me?
As the rest of the guys are getting in the SUV, I open the trunk of the jeep so that I could start carrying Yuki’s things inside. I placed a couple of light things into a spare box I had. Just as I turn around with a box of supplies, Jimin quickly takes it from my grasp.
“Hyung!” Jimin shouts. “I’m staying too!”
Without waiting for a response, Jimin starts heading up the pathway to the house, leaving me to follow him. I wave to the boys as they drive away and before I could even turn around, Jimin snatched my wrist and pulled me inside.
“Don’t run away,” Jimin says and his tone is unfamiliar. It sounded angry. “Could you just listen to what I have to say?”
I felt my resolve shake and I was too afraid to look into his eyes. Would his gaze be disgusted or worse filled with pity? I couldn’t bear it if it was pity. The last thing I needed-
“Jimin?”
He hugged me and his shoulders were shaking and I felt water against my neck from where he was tucking his face into my neck. He was crying.
“Why are you crying?” I said and my voice was wavering, I was on the verge of tears myself. “Don’t cry Jimin. Please don’t cry.”
I wrapped my arms around him, with my hands resting against his fluffy hair.
“I’m sorry,” He sobs. “I’m sorry I left without saying goodbye, I’m sorry for leaving you all alone. I didn’t know! I didn’t know that happened to you! They told me you would be okay, but they lied!”
“What are you talking about Jimin?” I say confused, grabbing his face from my neck. I wipe his tears and quickly wipe his nose with my jacket sleeve. “Who lied to you?”
“My grandpa..said you would be fine, you would make lots of friends and live a normal life.”
This whole time...he felt guilty for leaving?
“Jimin,” I sigh. “It’s not your fault.”
“It is!” Jimin yells. “If I never left, I would have never let that bitch bully you.”
“What else did she tell you?” I say letting him go but he grasps my hand leaving it pressed against his cheek. “Besides that?”
“She said that just because you didn’t have a Mark, you wou-” Jimin says but stops abruptly, his face turning red. He takes a step back, not meeting my gaze. I sigh and take a step closer.
“Did she say I messed around alot?”
“N-No!” He stutters and he picks up the box and just about runs into the living room. She did, that bitch. I sigh internally and follow behind him after taking my shoes off, not really paying attention to my surroundings, I end up walking into his back. He stopped in the middle of the hallway. Once more he puts the box down and turns around to face me. I looked up at him, in spite of him being shorter than the others, he was still quite taller than me.
“Did you?” Jimin asks, his tone unreadable. I scoff and glare at him, instead of answering his ridiculous question, I try to walk around him. Once again, he grabs my arm and pulls me closer to him. Something clenched in my body and it was like fire erupted in my lower belly..the same feeling that happened last night.. “Did you mess around Y/N?”
“It must be true if that’s what she told you,” I say annoyed and I yank my arm out of his grasp. I pick up the box and head to the laundry room where I keep Yuki’s supplies. All the while Jimin follows closely behind. “You don’t have to be so protect-UGH”
He had picked me up and placed me on the folding counter. Then he wedged himself in between my legs and once more the fire burned inside my belly and I felt myself blushing furiously.
“I will always be protective of you baby,” Jimin whispered. “I’m just concerned because you haven’t really denied it…”
“Can you not say things like that? And do things like this?” I whisper back, squeezing my eyes and willing the fire to extinguish.
“Say things like what?” Jimin says brushing my hair back from my face. “Do things like what?”
“Say things like ‘baby’ and getting in my personal space,” I whisper. “I keep getting the wrong idea..we’re friends..friends don’t do things like this..”
“I’ll stop if you just answer my question,” Jimin teases and I whine trying to push him away. I feel embarrassed because of my reaction, he must be having fun teasing me like this.
“Why are you so concerned about that?” I ask, feeling shame creep into my heart. “Why aren’t you asking about my Mark?”
Jimin pauses and takes a step back, giving me a break from his intoxicating presence. I felt my face flush in embarrassment when I noticed that my sweater was slightly lifted over my hips, where his hands were. I quickly push my sweater back down and wait for him to respond.
“I figured you would tell me when you were ready,” Jimin sighs, leaning against the washing machine. “I had been wanting to ask you since last night but Namj-”
“Namjoon?” I say in shock. “Namjoon knows too?! Does any-”
“Yes,” Jimin says, quickly stopping me from jumping off the counter by placing his hands on my thighs. “Shh, it’s okay. Namjoon and Jungkook heard her but no one else did. I promise.”
“Okay…” I gasp, feeling the panic go away. He continues to rub my thighs until my breathing returns to normal but I gasp when his mouth presses against my neck. Did he just kiss my neck?
“What are you doing?” I gasp, willing my voice to stay normal but it came out sultry.
“You have to answer my question now.” Jimin whispers, tickling me with his nose. He didn’t even answer my question properly! How did we end up like this? Where do I go from here on? But why does this seem so familiar. I felt the dread stiffen in me when I remembered why Melanie started that rumor. Jimin pulls back from me when he realizes I’m no longer responding to his antics. “Y/N?”
“You want to know why Melanie said I messed around?” I say not meeting his eyes. “Because of what you’re doing. Seducing me.”
“What?”
“You see,” I continue. “Once she told everyone I had no Mark in 8th grade, it was like open season for me. Because I belonged to no one, every boy would try to mess with me. It didn’t matter if I said no, they would still try to touch me, ki-”
“Stop.”
I quickly looked up and Jimin was livid. I felt my body stiffen and I felt like a helpless prey under his gaze. Why does he affect me so much?
“I’m gonna say this one time and one time only Y/N,” Jimin says stepping closer to me. “So listen carefully babe.”
I feel my thighs clench at his tone. In spite of feeling fear, there was a part of me that knew he wouldn’t hurt me.
“Do not ever compare me to those pigs,” Jimin says tucking my hair behind my ear. His gaze lowers to my lips. “I’m sure none of them made you feel like this. I’m sure you felt numb the moment they tried to touch you.”
I felt my eyes widen in surprise. How did he know that? I couldn’t feel a thing when this boy tried to kiss me. It was like my body was incapable of feeling pleasure. But Jimin. It was like Jimin opened this door I didn't even know existed.
“None of them could make you feel alive like me,” Jimin whispers as he leans in. My vision goes blurry and it's almost like time stops. I feel the addicting sensation of his hands resting against my lower back as he scoots me closer.
Thoughts are racing through my head. Is this okay? Can I kiss him? Do I want to kiss him? Will I be satisfied with just a kiss? Will he be sat-
Those thoughts are silenced the moment his pillow plump lips part against mine. The taste of cherry chapstick swirls in my mouth and without realizing it, I had pulled Jimin even closer by his hair. Jimin groans against my mouth and pulls me even closer, encouraging me to wrap my legs around his waist. I gasp when I feel his hands inside my sweater rubbing against my bare back, all the while his wet lips trace my neck, causing me to arch against him. I moan the moment I feel his teeth graze against my collarbone.
He shivers once I pull him off once more by grabbing his hair. His eyes were glazed, lips swollen. I felt a sense of pride. I made him like this. Melanie could never, no other women before me could ever. When I caressed his face he turned his hand, kissing my fingers. My breath hitched when he pushed my sleeve up and kissed my scars, where my Mark should have been, but instead the dagger was there, almost completely faded.
I quickly looked at his arm, and for the first time I felt the overwhelming urge to see his Mark. I go to reach for his arm but I stop myself. As quick as it came, the feeling of pure bliss and desire left my body and I felt shame and guilt creep into my heart.
“What’s the matter?” Jimin says detecting my state. “Did I do something wrong? I should have asked you first, I just got so carried away..”
“Jimin,” I whisper. “Please don’t take this the wrong way...but can I see your Mark?”

Hello 💕 please may I request a ship with iKON, BAP, and Big Bang? I’d like a who’d I’d date/marry ship, a baby daddy ship and a ride or die ship, please. 💖  I’m 5ft, Taurus Sun & Capricorn Moon, Bi/Pansexual, ENFP, South-African Indian (Indian born in South Africa - I’m interested in taking a DNA test to see my exact mix), long and wavy black hair, dark brown eyes, medium to dark-skinned (I’ll attach a pic). I have to wear glasses, but I often don’t bother wearing them since I’m at home most of the time (I should because my eyes hurt). I’m a tough cookie, cool on the outside, warm/soft on the inside. I’m stubborn, sassy, sarcastic, sweet and savage. I’m full of love, or full of hate. My anger has been compared to the Hulk (Hulk SMASH). I’m pretty laid back otherwise. I love sleep, animals, music, art (especially anatomy, skeletal), anime, writing, reading and bubble tea.  I have duality, I can be super chatty and playful other times, I love to be on my own or sit in comfortable silence with people. I’m ambitious, and I love dressing up for days out (make up, jewellery, shoes and clothes). My signature style always includes fishnets, docs and a leather jacket. I have leadership qualities, but I’m sometimes too kind. I’m always determined when I set my mind on something. One of my dreams is to become a singer/songwriter. Another dream is to become an interaction designer, to design the way people can interact with devices and applications - design for the people. I love learning. I love to smell good, and my favourite colour is green. I’m also a Marvel/DC lover, and enjoy geeking out over video games. I’m so sorry that this is long. I really love and appreciate this blog existing. So, in advance thank you if you do or don’t fulfil this request (you don’t have to if you don’t want to). 😘💖💖💖

Puncture ~A Jongup Vampire!au~
Anon asked: Can I request for the Halloween writing vampire jongup angst and light smut please?? Thank you lots 💗
We love a slightly smutty sister (I hate myself. Why would I say that)
Jongup is a precious soul and he holds a very special place in my heart. I really hope you like this! I had a lot of fun writing it... I kind of made him a jerk in this, but its just where my brain let me on this one. I hope its kind of what you wanted!
-Admin Lionheart
Tumblr media
Moon Jongup. He was one of the only people that you hated with all you might. Ever since you were kids, he was your biggest bully. No matter where you went or what you did, he was right there with you, tea singing you about something new. That’s why you couldn't wait to get out of this stupid town; get away from him.
“You’re leaving?” You heard a familiar and unwanted voice say.
“What do you care?” You snapped, turning around to face Jongup. He had his signature stupid smirk on his lips that made you want to punch his stupid face.
“I can’t let my little play thing get away from me, can I? Who am I going to tease if you leave?” He said, stepping closer to you.
“Don’t know, don’t care.” You said, standing your ground. “I’m sure it won’t be hard to find someone else to torture. I guarantee I’m not the only person you treat this way, so you can just go bug one of them all the time instead of me.”
“But you’re my favorite... nobody tastes as good as you do.” He said, wrapping a hand around you neck. Oh, yeah, Jongup wasn’t only a bully, but he was also a vampire. Yay.
“I’m not a blood bag, Jongup. Leave me alone.” You said, pushing him away from you and turning on your heels to go home. You didn't expect for him to actually leave you alone, but you were just happy to get home without having to see him again. For now, that is. He always showed up right before you got into the shower so that he could “cherish your nature scent” or some bullshit like that. Whatever it was, you were sick of it.
So, with that being said, you decided to mix up your schedule and hop into the shower as soon as possible, which you did. It was so nice being able to get into the shower and not have blood all over your body from Jongup’s nasty feeding habits. It was great not having sensitive bite marks scattered throughout your body.
Once you were out of the shower, you put on some shorts and a sports bra and decided that it would be nice to read a book before he showed up. You figured he was probably going to be angry, but you didn’t even care anymore. But oh, was he angry.
“You showered already?” You heard Jongup say, suddenly.
“Huh? Oh, yeah, I did.” You said, looking up from your book for a brief moment before going back to what you were doing.
“You know I hate it when you shower before I get here. Are you trying to piss me off?” He asked with a harsh tone. He knew your answer, so you didn’t bother to say anything. “I guess I’m just going to have to teach you a lesson.” Jongup said, before appearing by your side, throwing the book out of your hands.
You were about to protest, but he quickly had a hand around you neck, slightly cutting off circulation to your head. You knew that fighting him was useless since he wasn’t human and had way more strength than you could even imagine, but you couldn’t help it. Squirming around in his grip, you began to regret your actions as soon as you looked into his eyes. Pitch black. There was no sign of color in them and you had never seen them like that before.
“Naughty girls need to be punished, Y/N.” He said right before he plunged his fangs into your neck. The pain instantly shot through your body as you felt your blood being sucked from you body. When he released his grip, instantly he was on top of you, pinning you to the bed. Ripping your clothes from your body, he began to bite from your neck all the way down to your thighs, before pausing right next to your core.
As much as you hated to admit, you needed to feel him and thats exactly what he gave you, showing a couple fingers inside of you while he continued to puncture your body with his teeth.
It didn’t take long before the pleasure in your body reached its climax and you felt your heart beat slowing down. Jongup had drawn so much blood from your body that you could barely move.
“Thats what happens when you defy me. Don’t do it again, or else I won’t be this nice next time.” Jongup said, getting up from the bed and disappearing from your room; leaving you alone, bloody and tired.

Witness Part 10
A/N: I’m hoping this will be a ten part series like Intruder, if it won’t be I will make it very clear. It’s also in 1st POV. I would also like to clarify that everything written in this story is complete fiction.
Summary: Noah’s injuries prevent her from working jobs for a bit, and her re-entry job doesn’t go as planned. Oh, and there’s a whole dtr (define the relationship) moment.
Word Count: 2,229
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9
Profanity/Violence/Gore? Warning!
Tumblr media
After the incident last night, I ended up with two broken ribs, a fractured shoulder, and an extreme bruise on my neck. Every part of me hurt and the doctors prescribed me some serious pain medicines and put my arm in a sling, all while making sure Jongup knew to keep a close eye on me for the next week. The doctors were quite curious as to what happened, at first, they were suspicious of Jongup for domestic violence, but I assured them that was not the case. Thankfully, they believed me.
At first, they had wanted to keep me overnight, but Jongup and I managed to convince them that it wasn’t necessary, saying that if anything happened we would come right back. So, they let us go home, needless to say we didn’t have to go back. It took close to three months before my injuries were completely healed, which was quite annoying. I felt like I couldn’t do anything, like I was helpless.
I couldn’t train or help out on scouting marks, it was as if I was back to being a prisoner with no use. Although, I’d technically never been a prisoner, I was meant to help Jongup pull information but he just didn’t let me. So this unwanted free time of mine was spent doing anything and everything to keep my boredom at bay. For the most part I was reading as much as I could, and for the times when the words would blur together I would turn on the TV and watch some random show or movie.
Other times, whenever Jongup was at the apartment, I entertained myself with him. He was still fun to annoy, and now when he got too annoyed he just turned to me and took his annoyance out sexually. Which I have absolutely no qualms about, other than the fact that he had to be gentler than I wanted because I was injured.
I simultaneously hated being injured and enjoyed it, because while I was in pain and couldn’t do quite a bit of stuff, I was allowed the freedom to contact my family and friends. Which was something I hadn’t been allowed to do since they took me a year or so ago. I even got to go out for coffee with my best friend and kind of catch her up on my life, obviously I had to lie about certain stuff, well, a lot of stuff. But in general, it was nice to see someone who wasn’t involved in crime, and talk about normal, mundane things for once.
Today was my last day of freedom, I guess you could call it, because tomorrow I would be going back into the field. I could tell Jongup was worried as he kept rushing around the apartment, nervously double-checking the weapons and tidying at the same time. It’s kind of an adorable habit, especially the way he nibbles on his lip as he wanders around with his eyes flicking about.
“You can stop worrying, I’ll be fine.” I call out, stopping him mid-step.
He turns around to face me, his eyebrows furrowed. “I’m allowed to worry about you, Noah, you’re my girlfriend. You almost died three months ago, I don’t know if you’re ready... I should just tell the boss you aren’t ready.”
I knew there was a lot he just said, but I could only focus on one part. “I’m your girlfriend?”
“Yes, of course. Is that even a question?”
“I mean, we’ve never really clarified what this was.” I say, motioning between us.
Jongup gives me his signature glare as he comes over to where I sat on the couch. “Okay, so let’s clarify. Do you want to be in a relationship with me?”
“Yes.” I murmur softly, avoiding his gaze.
His hand reaches out and he cups my jaw, tilting my head so I look him in the eyes. “Alright, so why’d you make a fuss about me calling you my girlfriend?”
“I just... I didn’t know you had us labeled, I wasn’t expecting it.”
This was just supposed to be a normal job, you know, one to get me back into the swing of things. That’s what it was supposed to be, but it wasn’t. This was a setup. We had walked right into a trap, completely unsuspecting. The situation was reversed, instead of being the hunters, we became the hunted. Of course, it wasn’t obvious right off the bat and we fell into their trap quite perfectly.
The bar was rather empty for nine o’clock at night, with maybe only eight other patrons inside, including our target. Although, based on its appearance it made sense. The dark wood floors were scratched and sticky, the wallpaper yellowing and peeling. Overall, it felt like the interior was falling apart, and the bar didn’t pull in enough money to fix it.
For the first time, our target was a woman, and I have to admit she’s got an ethereal beauty to her. Her hair is black as ink, falling in waves down her back. She holds herself so tall with an air of regality that I find it hard to believe she actually stepped foot in this shit-hole of a bar. And since our target was a female, I wasn’t going to be the one pulling the information, it was going to be Jongup. I know he used to do this all the time without me, but it made me uncomfortable having him do what I deemed ‘my job’.
So, there I sat, in a crusty booth, thank heavens I chose to wear jeans tonight, watching Jongup chat up our gorgeous mark. I felt a twinge of jealousy at the sight of him so close to her, despite knowing he was only so close to learn information in order to kill her. I wanted to get this over with as fast as possible. This woman was our target because she works just underneath the leader of our rival, she’s practically his right hand. Yes, the boss is aware that by taking her out we’re asking for a full-on war, but apparently risking war is worth it because he wants her dead.
Thirty minutes passed and Jongup was still working on her. I was slowly losing my patience with the situation, and I had noticed a few of the other patrons were acting strangely. As I had nothing to do but observe the room, I was aware each time someone made a move outside the ordinary. The two men talking at the bar had both done the same odd hand motion three times, as had the man sitting by himself at a table chomping peanuts and drinking beer. The other four patrons had shuffled out, as they’d been together, all of them declaring they should go home and bid goodnight to the bartender.
Something was off. The vibe wasn’t right and the air seemed to get thicker once the group of four left, as if something was about to go down. If I hadn’t been paying such close attention I would have missed it. I would have missed the eye contact between the three remaining men and our mark. But I caught it, and I knew in an instant that we’d been set up. A glint of silver flashed in the woman’s hand and I barely had enough time to scream out a warning.
    “Jongup, knife!”
Now
Bullets were flying, and I was narrowly dodging them. I knew Jongup was to my left, he’d managed to get away from the woman with only a slight cut on his arm. Pulling my gun from its holster, I peeked out from my cover behind a booth and took aim at one of the men. The bullet only clipped his shoulder, but this gave Jongup enough time to get in the kill shot. I ducked back behind my cover as a bullet whizzed by my ear, courtesy of our mark.
I glanced to the side just in time to see a bullet rip through Jongup’s shoulder, a shout of pain released into the air as he moved to find cover. My eyes went wide and I moved from behind the booth and laid eyes on the man and woman remaining. Aiming quickly, I took the man out, a surge of satisfaction rushing through me as I watched his body hit the ground. I didn’t have time to dwell on it though as Jongup moved from his cover to try and take out the woman. His bullet lodged in her thigh, but she didn’t drop to the floor, she stayed standing, blood gushing down her leg.
I didn’t move fast enough, she aimed her gun at Jongup and pulled the trigger. It felt like the world was in slow motion as I watched the bullet speed through the air, slam through his chest and finally bury itself in the wall behind him. I was frozen as he fell to the floor, his blood rapidly pooling around him. The click of her gun snapped me back to reality and I felt fury like I’ve never experienced flood through me.
Turning back to her I shot five times, two in each leg, and one in her gun-wielding hand, effectively dropping her to the floor, useless. In a sudden panic as I remembered Jongup lying on the floor, I rushed over to him, dropping to my knees. I tore my shirt off, using it in an attempt to stop the bleeding and apply pressure to the wound.
Frantically, I yanked my phone from my pocket and pressed it to my ear after dialing Z’s number. Come one, pick up the fucking phone.
“Noah?” Z asked, picking up after the first ring.
“Z, oh my god! You- you have to get to the bar, Jongup’s been shot! He’s gonna die!” I cried out.
“Shit! Okay, okay. We’ll be there, keep him alive.”
The line went dead. Hot tears trickled down my cheeks.
“You aren’t allowed to die. I won’t let you.” I whisper harshly, pressing down harder on his chest.
His eyes flutter open slightly and he gives me a wary smile. “I’ll try not to.”
“You have to keep talking to me, Jongup, alright?”
“Okay, Noah.” He whispers, eyes closing softly.
I shake him in an attempt to get him to open his eyes, but they won’t budge. He’s still breathing rather steadily, and I think the bleeding may have slowed down, but I really can’t tell as there’s so much blood everywhere.
“Come on, come on! Don’t fucking die on me! I can barely live without Willa, how am I supposed to live without you, too?”
I take in a deep shuddering breath. When is Z going to get here with help? I don’t know how much longer Jongup’s going to last.
“I love you, please, I know you can fight this.” I whisper.
The door to the bar bursts open and then its just a mess of commotion. People everywhere, doing different things. The scene feels oddly reminiscent as I’m dragged away from Jongup kicking and screaming, except this time I’m covered in blood. I barely realize it’s Z who’s pulling me away from Jongup so that a doctor, somehow connected to us, can work on him.
I reverted back to the zombie mode I knew so well. Minutes turned to hours, that moved so slowly I thought I could feel myself aging. We’d been transported to some kind of safe place that was used for medical purposes, for when situations like this arose. It was taking too long. If Jongup was going to be okay, they would’ve said something by now.
“He’s out of surgery, everything went well. It’ll be a while before he wakes up, but you can sit by his bed if you want.” A doctor says politely.
I scoff. “If I want to? Obviously, I’m going to go sit by his damned bed.”
It was torture to sit beside his bed, seeing him hooked up to all these machines. I just wanted him to be magically better, like he never got hurt, he never stood up and got shot. Why didn’t he stay behind cover? I softly held onto his hand, blinking my eyes quickly in an attempt to keep the exhaustion threatening to overwhelm me at bay. Let’s just say I lost that battle.
Some time later, pressure on my hand woke me up. My eyes fluttered, clearing the remaining vestiges of sleep from them. Jongup’s eyes were open and focused on me. I sat up quickly.
“How are you feeling? Do you need pain meds? Should I go get the doctor?”
He shook his head. “No, but I do have a question.”
“Anything.” I breathe out, leaning in closer to him.
Jongup’s voice was soft. “Do you really love me?”
    “What?”
“After you asked how you were supposed to live without me, you said you loved me. Did you mean it?”
“How did you- I mean, of course I meant it. I didn’t even know you could hear me. I thought you were unconscious.”
“I love you too, Noah.” Jongup said with a smile.
“Alright, now that our love has been declared. How about we both say we’re even on the near-death experiences and not scare each other shitless like this again, deal?”
    “Deal.”

6 years with B.A.P
Of course, every B.A.P anniversary is as important as the other, but 6 years? It marks something special, because 6 is the very essence of what makes B.A.P who they are.
Yongguk brings to the group a leader. With his ‘deep ass whale voice’, his passion for music, his views about the world, his hope for peace, his skill with words, and his glowing pride over anything his members do, he makes B.A.P 6.
Himchan brings to the group a binding force. With his stunning aura, his rugged vocals, his care for the members, his diversified musical abilities, his inspiring self confidence, and his signature visuals, he makes B.A.P 6.
Daehyun brings to the group a rainbow, a source of hope. With his magnificent honey voice, his kitten smile, his devotion to his craft, his overflowing love for his members and babyz, his signature blend of squish and rude, and his urge to be the most extra, he makes B.A.P 6.
Youngjae brings to the group sunshine and balance. With his unique baritone texture, his wit and intelligence, his flailing hysteric laughter, his heartfelt support for his members at all times, his LOUD antics and his utterly well rounded skills, he makes B.A.P 6.
Jongup brings to the group individuality like no other. With his phenomenal dancing, his constantly improving vocal abilities, his cheekbones, his unique thought processes, his uncondicitonal acceptance of his members and his growth, he makes B.A.P 6.
Junhong brings to the group youth and wonder. With his insane rap flow, his unparalled freestyle dancing abilties, his aspirations and dreams, his admiration for his members, his passion to share his work, and his long, long self, he makes B.A.P 6.
These men have come together and created an identity, a soul, and the product of their efforts is clear for everyone to see. They’re unbreakable.
6 years of work. 6 years of improvement. 6 years of love. 6 years with B.A.P.
And here's to many more 💖

Unable To Protect You (Yongguk mafia/gang AU pt.1)
Requested by: 2 (!!) nice and cool anons
Word count: 6.2 k+
Genre/warnings: Mafia/gang AU (contains a swear word or two. Also contains violence, and contains a lot of flashbacks and emotional pain. But, as always - imo nothing too vivid.)
Summary: Him and Himchan were done with all of the dirty work for the day. Another person down, and the burdens of knowing a life had been taken once again hanging on his shoulders, dragging him down lower to the ground. Yet when he came home, his dangerous and dark attire faded away completely as he let himself be held by your arms, letting your reassuring whispers fill his ears. He wasn’t a monster. He wasn’t a bad person. He simply fought for his own survival and for the lives of his loved ones. Which, looking at the situation, would once again be much harder, since an old, unwanted and uninvited guest had appeared on the scene. Threatening to kill him, and threatening to make you his by rather cruel and painful methods.
(A/N) Three mafia AUs done, three to go! Part two of this should be up sometime tomorrow or on Tuesday. And, in case you like this one and haven’t read the others yet, consider checking out the Himchan mafia AU or the Jongup mafia AU, or maybe both! ^.^
THIS IS PART 1 // PART 2 IS HERE
Tumblr media
“Are we done here yet?”
Himchan turned to face him, a playful smile appearing on his lips. He watched the close to fragile figure in front of him, and kept wondering how this guy had managed to get so far.
How his face screamed danger, yet he was the most peaceful of all when he wasn’t shooting. How he looked like trouble, yet moved so slowly and unwillingly when he wasn’t in the middle of an argument. How he had too much soul to handle, and how that drew him lower and lower into the abyss of pain and desperation with every single passing day, as for his line of work, he had a too complex mind, with little space for letting go of things and too much space for remembering.
How he was the strongest warrior of all - Bang Yongguk. The man who could single-handed bring the whole world to his feet, but would never do it, simply because he had too much respect for it.
“Are you in a hurry?”
“No,” his answer was simple and short, cutting through the otherwise silent night air with ease, “I’m just tired.”
“Let me get rid of the last evidence first and then we can leave.”
They did so soon enough, filling the quiet alleyway with their intimidating shadows creeping alongside the walls of the old, abandoned and destroyed buildings as their footsteps echoed down the street, their shoes seeming a little too fancy and expensive for this dirty place.
But that’s who they were. Young, handsome men who looked like the gentleman every girl would more or less willingly want to lay her eyes on. The guys to open doors for others, and talk in a smart, polite fashion that made everyone around them think they were the best kind. The ones who treated people right. The ones who were perfect.
Yet the only thing they were indeed perfect at was shooting. And killing. And getting needed information, and what not else - they were quite multi-talented in their survival. In reality, they were the guys your mom warned you about and guys who knew what mercy meant as a term, but were quite bad at using it practically.
Being the Best Absolute Perfect - the best guys out of all of the bad ones - was their calling. And at this point in time they couldn’t be more grateful for who they’d become over the time, because they knew they’d manage. They’d shaped themselves and made their permanent existence in the area more than simply intimidating and bloody obvious. They were “The King”.
“I’ve never seen you hurrying home like this before, friend,” Yongguk barely noticed Himchan’s a little too loud and all over the place talking, slowly turning his head to eye him up and down.
“Get some glasses then, it’s been like this for a year already,” he answered, tucking his freezing hands into his pockets as Himchan laughed at his unusually sarcastic remark.
“It’s because of her, isn’t it?”
Silence filled the void between them as Yongguk looked into the distance, his breath rising up in the air and making little twirls as it faded away into the night. It was the start of November for a reason, after all, and this was only the start. It was about to get colder.
“Kim Himchan, am I allowed to have a private life?” He turned his head to face his friend once again, even though he knew the answer already.
He wasn’t allowed, because Himchan was a part of it, and has been since quite some time ago when they had nothing but each other and a will to survive left.
“Not on my watch,” Himchan said, smiling as he joined in and tucked his hands in his pockets as well. His standard signature phrase that could almost always be heard only in conversation with Yongguk. He’d spilled it once again.
Yongguk chuckled a little, watching him carefully. God, what he could’ve actually accomplished in life if it wasn’t for the whole gang thing. He’d been gifted with a picture perfect face, and, even though his behavior could be more on the immature side at times, he served good as a leader. Who knows? He could’ve been a local business owner, or a good lawyer or something. He had the brains, and even more than that, the ability to talk with people well. He had the charms to convince anyone who listened to do unbelievable things and to go to unimaginable extents, and his charisma could draw a quite big following of beautiful women to choose one from. And, over all, he had enough honesty and dignity still left to be able to digest that type of life and live it to the fullest.
Yet he was here. Wandering the streets just to get back to a safe place and stay unnoticed after another murder mission alongside with Yongguk. Once again, after more than ten years, they were still at it, refusing to let the other four handle it all on their own.
Because the younger ones could be the main mechanisms and best shots at most of the missions nowadays, but they knew nothing compared to these two. The hyungs would still take upon the most important things, just to keep in mind how having to do the dirty work and coming home with blood stained hands felt like. Because that’s where their roots laid, and that’s where they believed they came from. Never forgetting your beginnings was the most important thing.
“Hey, I don’t blame you at all,” Himchan said, smiling up at the sky a little, “After all, I haven’t seen you acting this way before you met her.”
“What way?” Yongguk questioned quietly, focusing on the main street ahead of them. Soon they’d have to part, walking their separate ways for the night and staying in the shadows until the reports would come on the news and TV yet again. It was the regular, really.
“I’ve got my own fair trade of issues, and you know that. Mental, which keep me from sleeping soundly at night, and physical as well. I didn’t take the last major encounter especially well, gotta admit. It still feels like my left arm is of no use.”
“But fact is, if there was one person who’s been sinking further down with every passing day from the very start, it’s you, my friend,” Himchan said, letting Yongguk devour those words a little before continuing.
“You’re too much of a “Mr. Right” to be a part of this lifestyle, yet you always keep going on with no perspective in mind. You don’t even care if you’re going to make it, which is about the scariest thing there is about you, if you ask me. And for the longest time you’d been fighting with no reason.“
"Hey, I’ve always had my reasons. Who else is going to watch you, leader loud-mouth?”
Himchan chuckled yet again at the remark, looking somewhat pleased with the title Yongguk had gifted him with.
“I appreciate it, really. You know that at this point it’d be hard to continue surviving without each other. I’d made so many mistakes in the past and even the present, just to get all of them fixed up by you while I did vice versa later on. But ever since.. You know what happened.. And since you gave up on your leader positions, you’d become even less invested in this whole thing, which, looking at how you’d never liked this life you’re leading in the first place, is quite dangerous.”
Silence filled the air yet again. They both knew there were just a few more steps till they’d be back on the main streets, and Himchan patiently waited for Yongguk to say something before they would eventually have to part ways.
“Himchan,” he finally spoke, stopping and looking him right into the eyes, “I really appreciate the worry, but I’ll manage. I’ve always did, and nothing will stop me from continuing on the same way. In the worst case, you’ll slap me in the face and make me move, just like you used to. But I will always keep my guard up high and my expectations of the world down low. I know nothing’s fair, despite being so beautiful, and everything hurts and itches. It’s quite tragically devastating actually. I’m aware. I’ll manage.”
“Without a doubt,” Himchan walked out into the street, the street lights highlighting his amazing bone structure and making his gaze look even more amused but yet so dangerous, “You have no choice now, since you took her in.”
“You generally learned how it is to care for someone - someone who’s too vulnerable and fragile to keep herself safe on her own. You learned that not everything and everyone except the five of us would always be against you in this world,” he was already walking away, leaving Yongguk to stand alone and tap his feet on a puddle, “She’s waiting for you right now, and you know that. She’s cutting her sleep short just to welcome you back home like no one else will ever do. While everyone fears you, she loves you. Not caring how many men you’d gotten rid of tonight, and not caring about your intentions. She blindly trusts you, and you trust her. And if that isn’t beautifully destroying, I don’t know what is.”
One moment he was there, and the next he was gone, leaving Yongguk to hang his head down lower and walk back home through the pouring rain. Who needed cars anyways? He lived quite nearby, and walking hadn’t hurt anyone yet.
Himchan had always been right, no matter the situation, and the way back home seemed painfully long because of all of the thoughts creeping into his head. Yet he couldn’t help but agree that all of those statements were true within seconds of thinking. He didn’t doubt it even once.
He doubted it even less when he dragged himself through the door, kicking off his shoes just to wander into the living room doorway and stop at the mesmerizing sight in front of him.
You were dancing. To one of the vinyl recordings from his collection.
Your body looked so beautiful, and he wondered how you ever let it trail against his. How your smooth skin never minded the touch of his rough and scarred one, and how you always found pleasure in the parts of him he hated the most. Your movements were subtle and little, yet quite eye catching and pleasing as your hips swayed from side to side, and your quiet humming could be heard all through the room. Your eyes were closed, and your head was slightly tilted upwards, letting the moonlight shine right onto your chest. You moved, until you felt his presence and slowed down, turning to him in a swift, elegant move and letting your stare meet with his longing one.
He stood there, all across the room, watching you. The way his shirt that you’d snatched away looked so huge and loose on you, drowning out your frame in it completely. How it looked so aesthetically pleasing with your knee socks to extents that made you look like a goddess rather than a hot mess in his eyes. He had to resist not to let all of his senses kick into overdrive and have all of you at once, right then and there.
“Yongguk..”
He heard his name and carefully watched how it left your lips - how it stayed hanging in the air for a little before completely disappearing without leaving a single trace. How it only managed to sound this gentle and soft when you said it. Your feet started slowly moving towards him, but he was too out of this world to see. He barely even noticed when your hands reached to rest on his chest.
“You’re freezing, Yongguk..”
He did nothing and just stood there, his body willingly obeying to every movement you put it through. Your hands slid carefully over his shoulders, freeing him from his jacket slowly. His eyes never left yours even once during this whole time, savoring every given moment. How you undressed him from the cold, wet jacket, being a little too caught up in the moment and simply throwing it to the side, deciding you’d take care of it later. How your arms found their way back around his neck to rest on his shoulders in seconds, as they knew their desired route perfectly. How you simply looked at him, your eyes displaying the fact that you knew.
You knew he was bad. But you didn’t mind.
“I killed a man today,” he quietly said, feeling like he could tell you all his sins and be forgiven for them all at once, “And, because I killed a man, I am no good for you.”
It was going to be one of these evenings. He kept coming home emotionally crushed beyond belief more and more often, and you couldn’t help but simply feel worried about him. He was thinking again. About how bad he was. About all the things he’d done in life. Thinking about how he’d become the thing he initially feared and hated.
“Yongguk.. I thought we had talked it out…”
His hands eventually found the right path to trail down as well, holding your hips tightly in place as he felt he was drawing his face closer to yours once again.
“Why do you keep doing this?” his breath itched against your skin as he let his hand trail up and down your side, feeling every curve, and every part of you that took his breath away oh so often, “Why do you keep telling me it’s alright?”
You had his marks on you, one of them beautifully displayed on your neck for him to admire, distracting him from thinking straight. He could clearly make out the shape of his lips, drawn onto your skin ever so roughly in red and purple lines, and he was amazed by how he could’ve been the creator of something so beautiful. His hand eventually reached to trace the mark, and he ran his fingers over it, remembering how he made that happen. Remembering sinking his lips into your skin, waiting for your approval and allowance to continue. Remembering wanting to go gentle at you, but losing himself somewhere along the way when you told him he could do it all. Remembering your parted lips. Your tiny whimpers of pleasure and slight pain that twisted with it. The feeling of you grabbing the back of his shirt, and eventually his skin later on, when the shirt was removed and you were off to do more serious things.
He remembered apologizing for scarring you the next morning, and he remembered receiving another “it’s fine”.
“Because it really is,” you saw his stare fixated on the bruise on your neck, and knew what would eventually follow, as it happened every damn time he marked you somewhere there. His hand always kept travelling where it shouldn’t.
“It isn’t,” with a swift move, he’d exposed your left shoulder, leaving his hand to rest on it. You knew what was to come, and at this point you were already braced for it. Ready to stand the storm.
“I’m no good for you, babe,” he said quietly, tracing over the large scar all across your shoulder, “Because I was there when this happened. Yet I couldn’t help in time, because I was busy with other things.”
“Those other things being looking out for the members of your team, and I think that keeping everyone alive is more important than preventing me from getting hurt,” you felt how he traced the outline of the scar, and even though his heart clenching wasn’t quite visible on the outside, you knew he was a wreck deep inside currently. Such a beautiful disaster.
“Keeping everyone on our side alive just to take other lives seconds later, babe. You keep forgetting, or rather ignoring that,” he added, and stayed silent for a moment.
You could be anywhere in the world right now, yet you were here. Spending your days with the silent, closed-in monster that he was. Letting him find a place he could call home in your actions and intentions. Allowing him to destroy you in the most beautiful ways just to fix you up later on.
Holding him in a standing position when he felt like collapsing and becoming one with the ground.
His hands made a quick, sharp movement, sliding to rest on your sides as he pinned his forehead against yours, closing his eyes and exhaling rather loudly.
“How comes you’re still here?”
“You saved me. And even before you’d done that, I already loved you. So why shouldn’t I stay?”
“You know you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to, right?”
“I’m fully aware. But I want to,” he opened his eyes, looking at you as you bit your lip right before the next sentence.
“You’re not bad at all, Yongguk-ah. You’re the most honest, truest person there’s ever been in my life, and I truly don’t care about your wrongdoings, because at the end of the day, the people you get rid of are the ones who make this world a living hell.”
“And to me you’ll always be nothing but the love of my life and a savior,” you finished, giving him the last little push he needed, in the form of a hand at the back of his head that moved him in the right direction, gently placing his lips on yours.
A savior. That had to be a lie or a joke, right?
Yet it felt like neither one of those when you kissed him, and he couldn’t help but do the same back to you in a similar intensity and fashion. Tugging at your clothes for support. Pinning you against him fully, leaving no space in between your bodies whatsoever. Refusing to take a breath in between, because, even if every sane person would disagree, he was convinced you were more important than oxygen.
Showing you he needed you.
You glanced over at his sleeping frame that evening, admiring his true face and colors. He’d come home once again with nothing but compunction in his heart and mind, and it drew him to kiss you full-force for a while before collapsing onto the bed and falling asleep before you even managed to scold him for not eating dinner.
He wasn’t tired, you knew. He never seemed to be. He just had too much on his mind yet again, and needed to drown all of that out in the most effective ways.
Him shifting and clenching on the blankets a little made you chuckle, as well as wonder how anyone he’d ever had business with would react to seeing him this way. To seeing the intimidating former leader, the one with the frightening gaze and unpleasantly low voice so vulnerable, and so.. hurt.
Yes. He was hurting tons, and you didn’t know what to do about it.
It was a thing he carried from the very past, a thing that had been programmed into his systems and present in his roots all along. The constant realization he was no good, and the thought of doing the thing he was against much too often for his liking.
Hurting people. Bringing violence everywhere he went. Shooting on quite a few occasions instead of talking it out.
Even if it was to make this world an a little safer place, and to guarantee their well-being and survival, he wasn’t having it. Even if the people he killed were no good, and had been wrecking mad havoc and destroying things and lives for years, he wasn’t having any of that.
He was still no good, and it hurt him to unimaginable extents. But it had been like this forever, and, at this point, nothing could ever change that.
He knew nightmares would haunt him the second he climbed under the blankets. But what he got instead was vivid dreams of how it used to be. A reminder of how he became who he was now.
He’d always been the quiet one, rather standing in the corner and observing than going out to do anything. He never had a lot of friends, but he didn’t mind being lonely at all. He liked the peacefulness, and there were few times he felt like something was wrong with the way his life had unfolded. There were few times he would realize how no one would give him a helping hand in any situation, because there simply wasn’t anyone in his life to do so. And he rarely noticed how he’d always have to deal with it alone.
That is, until he met no other than Kim Himchan.
It was a regular boy’s fight in the yard about a toy. Yongguk must’ve been around seven years old at that point, and happened to be there when a bunch of boys a year or two older than him approached.
“What’s this stupidity?” one called out, snatching the Tigger toy out of Yongguk’s hands before he could react, “Oh wow, this is so lame!!”
“Don’t you have any cool stuff?” another one leaned it, saying it right to his face mockingly, “Like, a water gun or something.”
Yongguk looked up at them with a gaze that made them freeze on the spot for a while, his answer being short and clear, just as always.
“No. This is all I have. Now give it back.”
Needless to say, they didn’t, which lead to Yongguk trying to snatch it away from them and being unsuccessful.
“Look at him! What do you think you’re doing!?” the boy holding the toy laughed loudly, and pushed Yongguk back. He stumbled, almost falling to the ground, but managed to stay in a standing position.
“I think we should show him his place, right, guys?”
The approval could be heard all through the yard, and Yongguk took a deep breath, bracing himself for what was to come.
He knew he would get beaten up. And he knew that in theory he should fight back. But is there any use on doing so, if there’s three of them, and they’re all older, automatically being taller and stronger as well?
“Hey, what do you think you’re doing?” Yongguk heard an unfamiliar voice coming from behind, but didn’t dare to look back. His full attention was still focused on the boys in front of him, and he saw them looking past him and at the mysterious speaker.
“Who are you anyways? Get lost, this is none of your business!” the toy was thrown to the ground, and the boy made his way over to do the first punch.
A punch to the gut, but he was still standing still. His insides hurt at the deep impact with the boy’s fist, yet he managed to hold his grounds perfectly, not saying a thing and simply staring at the ground.
“What an idiot,” he chuckled, giving another punch that seemed to have no effect either, “Still holding on. What for? There’s no one to help you-”
Slap.
It was a moment in time, as everything seemed to happen in slow motion. The boy’s hand was smacked away with quite an unbelievable force, and soon enough he received a slap to his face as well.
“Get away.”
It was the stranger from before - the one who had spoken earlier. He was standing next to Yongguk now, and ready to join the fight.
Still taken aback, Yongguk eyed him up and down quietly. He was a little shorter, and possibly younger than him as well. Yet he was a loud mouth - the complete opposite of Yongguk - as well as someone who couldn’t watch a situation like this unfold and not do anything about it. He was the first person whom Yongguk ever met that had the same perception as him - the opinion that certain people who hadn’t done anything bad didn’t deserve to go through unfair things and conditions in life.
The inevitable happened, and soon the three boys left, leaving behind two beaten up younger ones and a toy carelessly thrown to the ground.
The stranger was the first one to move, sitting up and coughing a bit. With a shaky hand, he reached towards the toy and picked it up, handing it to Yongguk who had already sat up as well.
“Here. A bit dirty, but fixable,” he said, giving an a little pained smile.
Yongguk hesitantly stretched out his arm to grab the toy, and looked at him in disbelief. He didn’t trust him or his intentions at all. There hadn’t been anyone who had simply helped him for nothing out of the blue just yet.
“Why did you try to stand up for me?”
The boy shrugged, tilting his head to the side and thinking, “I mean, are you saying I should’ve left you there alone for them to make fun of? Not on my watch.”
“You knew what would happen. They’re stronger, and there’s more of them. We had no chances of winning anyways.”
“Hah, you didn’t even try,” he laughed, getting up to his feet, “And that’s why you lost so soon.”
“There was no use anyways. There was no way we could’ve won. So why should I try if I know that it won’t do or change anything?” Yongguk slowly took the boy’s, standing up to his feet and wondering what had suddenly made him so talkative. He hated talking, after all.
“Why not? Are you simply going to stand the fact that they’re treating you like they shouldn’t? Or are you going to try and do your best to make the situation fair?”
Yongguk looked at him in disbelief. He was the first person who understood. The first to spark some type of desire in him to actually try, and he couldn’t tear his eyes off of him.
“Who are you?”
“I’m Himchan. I live nearby.”
“O-oh yeah, I think I’ve seen you around.. I-I’m Yongguk..”
The scenery seemed so clear, and it felt like all of that had happened just yesterday. How both boys stood under the trees in the middle of the yard, getting to know each other and thinking of how to explain the bruises to their families later on. It was the first time he met Kim Himchan, and it became far from the last time he’d see him.
A few years is what it took to turn the situation completely around. Left without a family, without a home and a place to go back to, they both aimlessly wandered the streets. Fire. Murders. Police sirens everywhere. And they fled, being afraid of what might follow after everything they’d just been through. Being fourteen years of age was enough, right? They would manage.
Getting involved with gangs happened quite accidentally, but as they got into the business, they weren’t allowed to make a run from it.
“Weren’t you against unfairness?” Yongguk hissed as Himchan got ready for another one of the few missions they’d been on already, loading his gun.
Yongguk had been there for this whole time with him, but hadn’t shot even once. He refused to do so, because that would mean hurting people. And he wasn’t about to hurt anybody.
“I am, I promise,” Himchan threw him a gun, knowing a little too well he wouldn’t use it anyways, “But tell me, what other possibilities do we have right now? What else do you have left?”
“Death.”
“Not on my watch.”
Yongguk sighed, knowing there was no way to argue back. Himchan had been the person to hold him above water level for all of these years, and he wasn’t about to give up on him.
He’d been more than simply useless all this time, tagging along, but not doing anything to help out and fight back. He’d been threatened by the gang that he’d be simply gotten rid of if he didn’t start being useful, but he couldn’t bring himself to do anything even after all of that, making Himchan work for both of them.
He couldn’t bring himself to hurt people.
“Do you really think anyone who’s been taken care of so far didn’t deserve it?” Himchan’s question snapped him out of his thoughts.
“Well, they did. But the same could be said about you. You’re doing just the same as them. Killing.”
“But I’m not doing it for wealth or power. I’m doing it to guarantee your and my survival. I’m simply fighting back, and if something would happen to me, I’d accept it.”
A shot in the side. And he indeed did accept it.
Yongguk felt his world breaking apart at the sight in front of him. How Himchan’s frame had been beside him all along, until at some point it crashed to the ground, revealing a rather large, bleeding wound on the side.
“Himchan! W-what-”
“Shoot, you idiot, will ya!? Save yourself at least, since I can’t do that anymore.”
And with tear strained cheeks, he obeyed. His hands were shaking and his aim wasn’t the best, but it was just good enough to cover him and Himchan who’d sat up at that point, breathing heavily and trying not to pass out from the immense pain.
“Hold on, do you hear!?” Himchan chuckled at how shitlessly scared and caring, as well as frightened Yongguk sounded. He’d never seen him that way, and he had to admit - it was not simply unusual, but even scary to some extent. Chucking hurt though, so Himchan simply leaned back, focusing to keep his consciousness. “Yessir,” he quietly muttered, his vision blurry, but his head still clear.
It was the day Himchan could’ve died, but because of a lucky coincidence he didn’t. And it was the day Yongguk first used a gun against somebody.
The first time he killed a man.
He sat next to Himchan who was lying medicated and bandaged up in bed, and thought. He’d killed a man. He’d caused violence, and had broken the morals he’d kept up for so long. But what for?
For the sake of the only person left in his life, who managed to stay alive thanks to his efforts. Alive, because he shot and made sure he’d manage.
Suddenly, all colors drained and he was left in his beloved black and white. The sight in front of him got blurry and twisted into wicked shapes, before clearing up again. Yongguk found himself watching the same event happening from the distance, as if he was a third person watching from afar. But something seemed to be off this time around.
“Yongguk-ah!! I can’t do it on my own,” Himchan screamed, shots being fired his way at an alarming rate, “I need backup!!”
Yongguk saw himself not far away from Himchan, and what this other self he was observing now said left him choking on plain air and unable to speak or move.
“Himchan, why should I?” his voice sounded cold and careless, displaying no emotions whatsoever, “There’s more of them than there’s us, and they’re older, taller and stronger. We won’t win anyways.”
“Yongguk-ah, stop being dumb and help-”
Shoot. Right in the side.
They made eye contact, and Yongguk watched the blood coming out of and dripping from Himchan’s mouth. Dark red, thick liquid stained his chin as he hit the ground. The blood was the only colorful thing in the black and white scenery, and it was a nice finishing touch, making the view more than simply tragical and devastatingly painful.
Another shot followed, and he fell to the ground, gathering up his last strength to shoot a few more times. He struggled to keep his balance, and his eyes seemed to refuse to cooperate - they constantly wanted to fall shut at the immense pain.
He continued shooting just to cover Yongguk - the person he cased about. The person who could’ve prevented all of this from happening, yet didn’t.
“Hold..On… And don’t you dare-Ahhh.” he received another shot, and at this point the ending was inevitable. His body was too damaged to keep him alive for much longer.
“Don’t you dare dying, Yongguk…”
Cold sweat was dripping from his forehead as Yongguk woke up in the middle of the night, his heart racing at an alarming rate.
No, no, no. None of that had ever happened. He shot, and Himchan survived. And from then on, they always shot together. Always worked as a team, to not only keep their lives, but to get rid of dangerous people so they couldn’t harm anyone anymore. But, even though he saved him, he didn’t prevent the most important person in his life from getting hurt though, and now Himchan wore a rather large scar on his skin for the rest of his life that showed off Yongguk’s weakness.
And you did just the same.
“Yongguk-ah..” he heard you mumbling in your sleep, and only now really understood what had really happened.
A nightmare. Thank god.
His sudden movements and heavy breathing had caused you to react, and you buried your face further into his neck as the grip of your hand on his shoulder tightened.
“Yongguk-ah.. It’s fine..” you were talking in your sleep, making him realize that this was probably the phrase you’d told him the most during all this time you’d spent together with him. All you ever did apart from loving him unconditionally was reassuring him that all was fine.
He gulped a little, closing his eyes and trying to calm his breathing. His hand trailed to rest on your arm, and he gave it a gentle squeeze. He didn’t want to wake you up and make you worry about him. There was no need to do so, because it had all just been a bad dream. A horrible nightmare.
“It’s fine, (Y/N), I know. It’s fine..”
It wouldn’t be like that for much longer though.
Himchan crashed his place the next morning, being closely followed by Junhong who always tagged along whenever there was something related to Yongguk, no matter the situation.
You were still sleeping when you heard voices coming from the hallway. You froze at first, realizing there was more than just one voice there and Yongguk wasn’t in bed next to you anymore, but soon you understood who those voices belonged to. You knew everyone in B.A.P just like the back of your hand, and after the fear had died down you recognized Himchan’s nasal voice and Junhong’s fast manner of talking. And Yongguk’s low, inaudible sentences, of course.
Climbing out of bed carefully and taking a few steps towards the door, you listened carefully and were wary not to make a sound. Eavesdropping wasn’t good, but their visit at such a time of day couldn’t mean anything good. And if Yongguk was in trouble or danger, you simply had to know.
“We have to get her away from here.”
“But where to? Do you think keeping her around at the base would be a much better idea?”
“It would be slightly safer. I know the base should technically be a more dangerous place, since all six of us could be there at any point, but it’s you he’s searching for. And it’s her he wants.”
“And this isn’t a safe place anymore, Yongguk hyung. Not after all of those threats..”
The floor creaked, and three pairs of eyes were staring at you within milliseconds. You cursed to yourself a little - shifting on spot wasn’t really necessary, but you still did it, causing noise and ruining your perfect hideout.
It took you only seconds to realize you really didn’t want Himchan and Junhong to see you this way. Messy-haired, sleepy-eyed and with nothing besides your underwear and Yongguk’s loose, big shirt that looked like a dress on you covering you. Remembering the bruises and love bites on your neck only added to your embarrassment, but you couldn’t really go away now. You were trapped, and had to simply wait.
“Yongguk-ah.. Is something wrong?”
He looked at both men at first, earning a glance from them as well. Junhong waved, and Himchan bowed a little before disappearing through the door without any explanations, and it was just you and Yongguk in the apartment once again.
“I heard you talking, and.. I really didn’t want to listen at first, but it seemed like you were talking about something really important, and..”
“It’s fine, (Y/N),” he said quietly, giving you another look before gesturing for you to come out of the room and into the hallway. He watched as your slightly frightened frame disconnected from the doorway, and he carefully listened to how your bare feet hit the floor with little thuds, making close to unnoticeable sounds as you came closer.
“Now listen carefully, babe,” his hands met with yours, and he intertwined your fingers with his, putting you slightly at ease, but just until the next sentence.
“Minjae’s back..”
You felt all of your senses leaving your body as fear strained your vision and you felt like collapsing on the ground.
“No.. Please tell me this isn’t true..”
Your eyes met with his, and his heart started clenching. You looked so fragile, and so unprotected - so alone in this dangerous environment. But he wasn’t going to let absolutely anything happen to you. Putting a hand on your cheek, he drew a few circles with his thumb before pulling your face closer, and letting you bury your face in his chest.
“Do you need time to process, or can I speak on?” He asked quietly, earning a muffled sound from you that he took as allowance to continue.“You know what this means. He won’t let you live in peace, and he won’t let me live at all. So now we have to take care of the situation.”
“How?” you quietly asked, gripping at the back of his shirt as he held you in his arms tightly.
“First of, we have to get you out of here. Himchan is right. It’s better if you stay at the base than if you stay here. There’s six of us there to protect you instead of one that’s rather emotionally unstable and constantly drowning in sorrows-”
“And what then? I’ll be safe, but what’s going to happen to you?”
He stayed silent for a bit, considering. He knew his limits, and they were way below Minjae’s. He knew this was close to impossible, and that he wouldn’t be able to handle it on his own.
So why try?
But your silent sniffing and the way your body tried to repress sobs as it shook a little against his own was enough for him to want to slap himself all across the face. He was acting weak again, and this time around it wasn’t him who mattered.
You were there with him. In his shirt, with his marks on you and in his arms. With a bruise on your left shoulder that he couldn’t prevent from being left on your precious, soft skin.
You were his. And he was responsible for you, because he swore to take good care of you.
“I’m going to do my best to prevent anything bad from happening,” he quietly said in your ear, making you feel uneasy.
“Yongguk-ah.. Please, don’t put yourself in danger for my sake-”
“I won’t put myself in danger,” you felt his grip tighten around you, and soon your head was lifted by his hand to look back at him.
Rage. Plain rage and nothing else could be seen in his eyes. He wasn’t scared anymore. He wasn’t having self-doubts. He was simply pissed beyond belief and to the last bone.
“I won’t put myself in danger, because I’m going to become the fucking danger,” his tone was harsh, making you flinch a little, “And anyone who’ll try to put a hand on my girl is going to go down. Everyone who will try harming you will pay for it. They will get their bones crushed, and their hearts decorated with gunshot wounds, or ripped out if I feel like it. I will have no second thoughts in doing all of that to them, and if God won’t forgive me for protecting one of the only people who truly matter to me, may hell have all of me, because I’m going to just what I promised. Understood?”
Shaking your head and indicating you’d heard him, you were still a little frightened by his sudden emotional outburst. That was nowhere near his typical nature. Nowhere near his “peaceful guy” aura. Yet he sounded so genuinely true when he said all of that, it made you really believe him.
All of a sudden he leaned in to softly kiss you. All of the anger was gone within seconds, and his kiss was soothing medication, telling you that you’d be just fine, as long as he was by your side. Telling you that he was there, and that he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to you. Telling you he’d prevent you from getting any more scars to remind him every day of how he wasn’t able to protect you back then when you needed it the most. Giving you a safe place to stay at, right in the middle of his heart.
“Go pack a few things, babe,” he spoke against your lips softly, “We have to leave as soon as possible. The guys are waiting for us.”
He watched you disappearing though the doorway, and couldn’t help but clench his hands into fists until his knuckles turned white.
You getting hurt? Not on his watch.
That asshole would definitely pay for all he’d done and all he intended to do.

Jongup Scenario: Mafia AU
A/N: Well hello! I have the final instalment of my B.A.P Mafia AU. So finally I have Jongup’s Mafia AU here. I think this one might be my longest so I hope you guys enjoy it!
Member Profile
Mafia AU Prologue
Yongguk Mafia AU
Himchan Mafia AU
Daehyun Mafia AU
Youngjae Maia AU
Zelo Mafia AU
Jongup was a man of few words and even fewer thoughts. He was raised to kill without thinking, kill without mercy and to kill without emotions. The first time in his life he remembers having any emotions was when he was 14. It was when he had met the 19-year-old Yongguk who had run away from home.
Jongup has been assigned a mission. It was a simple kill. In his 14 years of life he had already killed about a 100 people. He had started at the age of 11 and he had been born to do it. It was in his blood. The mission he was on was only going to take him an hour at most but then came Yongguk. Yongguk probably hadn’t meant to be there but it was just the wrong place at the wrong time.
Yongguk who had run away from home had shown Jongup kindness he had never had the luxury of. His family were assassins, they were ruthless. He wondered when his parents even had the time to meet and fall in love. They showed zero emotions. He was the youngest so often he got picked on and told he was useless and he got sent to the worst missions. He took it all with his head held high. He trained hard to be the killer he was known to be at the young age of 14.
During his mission that day though for the first time he had felt what it was like to have someone care for him. Yongguk had shared his food with him and told him why he had run away from home. Yongguk shared his dream of being the person the weak could turn to for protection and Jongup had felt so moved that he declared that him and Yongguk were friends.
His father had once warned him that friends were nothing but a weakness and that day he had made his first friend but also understood what his father had meant.
His target had shot at Yongguk while they were distracted. Jongup had felt so much hate at that moment that all he saw was red and he had mindlessly shot at his target. About 30 bullets in he felt an arm on top of his hand which was holding the gun, still pointed at the dead target.
“Stop”
It was Yongguk. He was clutching his side where the bullet had lodged it self. There was blood everywhere. Jongup felt worry.
“I’m fine”
Since then Yongguk had helped Jongup control his killer inside of him.
He had also met Himchan that night when Yongguk requested Jongup to take him to his friend’s apartment. Himchan had been so shocked to see the two but took them in without a second word and patched Yongguk up. Himchan had forced Jongup on a chair and checked him up as well.
Jongup had felt safe.
Jongup then felt tired and he slept peacefully.
In that one day he had felt so many emotions. He never knew he had so many. Yongguk had taken him to his base the next day after Himchan had gave them enough food to last them a week. Jongup questions Yongguk about the base and he smiles and says that he had been doing some work secretly and yesterday he finally had the courage to tell his dad he didn’t want anything to with his company and left.
About a year later, they met Zelo and Himchan had joined them after an incident that Yongguk said he would rather not talk about. Somewhere along the line Youngjae, Yongguk’s trusted information seller had also joined them and eventually Daehyun came along.
Jongup felt like this is what family was supposed to be like. He was proud of his little family.
But Jongup was still a man of few emotions. Every once in a while the killer in him came out and Zelo would have to knock him out with special darts that Himchan had made especially for Jongup.
So when he saw you for the first time he wasn’t sure why his heart skipped a beat. And he doesn’t know why his heart sinks when Yongguk presents him with a picture of you saying that their next mission was to kidnap you.
“Whatever you do, you are not to hurt the captive. We want information”, Yongguk says before sending them away.
Himchan is in charge for this mission, Youngjae is to say behind on their base and give them information about your location, Zelo is there for back up, Jongup is there to cover for Daehyun while Daehyun does the actual kidnapping.
Jongup couldn’t believe it when Yongguk said that you were working for their next target. Their target this time was involved in some illegal business activities like human trafficking.
The actual kidnapping is over before he knows it. Daehyun is so good at sneaking up behind people that Jongup doesn’t feel like he was needed. No one even noticed Daehyun as he got to you and pointed his gun to the back of your head.
“You’re coming with us”, Daehyun simple says and you just nod.
You don’t know what is going on. One minute you are out with your co-workers for a few drinks. You step out to make a quick call and as you ended the call you feel the cold gun against the back of your head.
You obediently do as you are told. As the man leads you, you see another coming out from a corner. You recognise him as the guy from the café. You look at him pleadingly but unfortunately he doesn’t meet your eyes.
“That was easy”, the guy who put the gun against your head, says.
The guy from the café just nods. And you realise why he won’t meet your eyes. He was one of them. They lead you to a van where two other men greet you. They take you to what they are calling their base and you just sit in the back of the van without an idea of what was going on.
The tallest of the guy introduces himself as Zelo and tells you that you will be fine as long as you do as your told.
“If you are lucky, Yongguk will let you go”, Zelo says.
“If I’m lucky”, you say.
Zelo goes on to point his friends out. The one who was driving was Himchan, the one who captured you was Daehyun, and he was loud for someone who managed to sneak behind you so quietly. And finally the guy from the café was Jongup. He doesn’t say much.
When you get to their base Zelo and Jongup lead you in. There you meet Yongguk, their leader and Youngjae.
You are made to sit down as the six boys surround you. It’s a little bit intimidating. Fuck that, you are scared. What could they want from you? Yongguk asks for your name and you give it to them.
“Do you know who you work for?” It’s Youngjae who asks.
“BtoB Company”, you say.
“Do you know what they do?” Yongguk asks.
“Barely, I am only a simple office worker. The only thing I do is silly paperwork”, you say honestly.
“What is the paper work about?”
“It’s usually about shipments and deliveries”
“Do you know what they are shipping?”
You draw a blank. You don’t know. You just know where things are being delivered. You never stopped twice to think about what was being delivered.
“Humans”, Yongguk says.
“What?”
He passes you a piece of paper. You take it with a shaking hand and your eyes skim over the paper.
One female.
Three children.
Two female.
One male.
The list goes on and on, with prices and addresses. You recognise some of the addresses. And at the bottom of the page were your name and your signature.
“Why is my name and signature there?” you ask. Your voice shakes.
“That’s what we would like to know”, Yongguk says.
“I didn’t sign this”, you say as you start shaking.
“How do we know you aren’t lying?” Daehyun asks.
That smirk on his face makes you want to wipe the floor with it.
“I believe it”, Jongup speaks up.
Everyone looks at Jongup.
“Really? The one person who is known to be the merciless killer?” Daehyun asks.
“Let’s hear your logic out, Jongup”, Himchan says.
“Hasn’t tried to run away, hasn’t lied, is clearly afraid and Daehyun, I could kill you without a second thought if you want me to live by my name”, an evil smirk graces Jongup’s face and Daehyun gulps.
“I’m ok”
“I can believe it too”, Zelo backs Jongup up.
“Yeah, me too”, it’s Himchan who spoke up next.
Yongguk eyes you with regard.
“Yeah, I had a feeling”, Yongguk sighs.
“But! I still want to keep an eye on you so unfortunately you are stuck with us”, Yongguk says.
You want to scream but bite your lip. What were you supposed to do with a gang of killers?
“Jongup”, Yongguk calls
“Yeah?”
“You are in charge of our hostage”
“What?”
“I have a name, thanks”
“Our hostage likes being called by their name instead of hostage”, Daehyun says and you still want to wipe the floor with the smirk on his face.
“Don’t listen to him”, Youngjae says.
“Anyway, Jongup will show you around and I guess Himchan is going to get you some food if you are hungry”, he says.
Himchan nods with a bright smile.
“Jongup come to the kitchen afterwards”, Himchan says and Jongup just nods.
“Well, I hoped to see you again but I didn’t think it would be like this”, you say as the rest of the guys leave the two of you alone.
Jongup hums in reply.
He looks calm but his heart skipped a beat when you told him you wanted to meet him again.
“Does this mean that I don’t have a job anymore?” you ask.
“Probably”, Jongup replies simply.
“Will I ever be allowed to leave here?” was your next question.
Jongup looks at you. His eyes are intense but you don’t feel uncomfortable.
“Once all of this is over and your name is in the clear, we will let you go”, he says and you feel relief wash over you.
“Thank you”, you say and smile at him.
He smiles back at you and your heart skips a beat. Once Jongup is done showing you around, he takes you to the kitchen where Himchan serves up some of the best curry you have ever hand. You thank him and Jongup takes you to his room. His room is bare and darkly lit. He has a bed, a sofa, a table and a wardrobe. The walls are bare and there is no picture anywhere, there are some books lying on the table but that’s it.
“You can sleep on the bed”, he says as he digs out a t-shirt and some basketball shorts from his wardrobe that you can sleep in. He points you to the bathroom in his room and tells you that you can shower.
You simply nod and do as you are told. He had been quiet gentle with you so you don’t feel too scared. Once showered you come out to see Jongup lying on the sofa with a blanket over him. His bare shoulders visible and he looks like he is reading his book.
“Are you comfortable?” you ask and he hums in reply.
You climb into his bed and snuggle up. His bed sheets smells like him and it feels comforting. You fall asleep before you know it.
And just like that you get used to your new life with the B.A.P boys. You grow closer to them and you talk to them and eat together like normal people. You sometimes forget that they are a deadly group of boys. Some times you watch Jongup and Zelo dance together. Jongup is very graceful while dancing while Zelo uses very strong and sharp movements. They are both good but different types of good. You sometimes cook with Himchan, then you help Youngjae with some of the data collecting as you are familiar with BtoB’s system and then once in a while you sing with Daehyun just to entertain him, even though he sings the most among the two of you. And you even manage to find the comfort in Yongguk’s silence. It’s mostly when the rest of the boys are out on their raids. You worry for all their safety so you keep Yonngguk company.
The biggest change is you sharing the bed at night with a shirtless Jongup. You don’t know when it happened but after a long night he had just thrown his shirt off and crawled in bed. You had a feeling that this was what he naturally did when you weren’t here but he hugged you tight as he slept peacefully.
He looked so peaceful when he slept. You brushed the hair away from his face. You poke the little mole on his nose and smile. He opens his eyes which shocks you but instead of saying anything he holds on to you tighter and buries his head in your neck before falling back to sleep.
“I think I finally got it!” Youngjae says as he calls all his members and you over one day.
He shows all of all the data and solid proof he had managed to find. He also managed to find proof that all your signatures had been forged. That would clear up your name with the police. Yougjae says that he has already sent that proof over to the police.
You thank Youngjae and he gives you a satisfied smile.
“I also found out where they are doing their business tonight”, Youngjae says as he pulls up another page with a detailed map and he explains his plans.
Yongguk gives him a nod of approval.
“It is an underground auction at a ball so, it’s time to get dressed…oh and you too”, Youngjae says looking at you.
“Me?”
“Well, yeah. You are coming with us”, Zelo says.
“What?”
“You are going to be Jongup’s date”, Himchan says.
“WHAT?” both you and Jongup yell.
“I have already decided”, Yongguk says firmly and it shuts both you and Jongup up.
You end up getting all dressed up along with Jongup. Jongup looks uncomfortable while the rest of the boys are fixing up their ties.
“This is a bad plan”, Jongup argues but no one listens to him.
“What if something goes wrong?”
“You doubt my plans?” Youngjae sounds offended.
“That’s not what I meant”, Jongup says.
“Just, relax. I got your back”, Zelo says as he grabs his gun.
Somehow the rest of the boys manage to shove you two together in a car that Himchan is driving while the rest of them follows behind in Youngjae’s usual van. Eventually all of you manage to get into the auction. Jongup has a tight hold on your hand. It is comforting. Also the fact that he has a gun hidden in his suit pocket is also comforting.
As the auction starts you prepare yourself. The plan was simple. Youngjae would find a way to turn all the lights off and in the blind panic Zelo was going to shoot all the culprit behind the auction while Jongup got you out to safety. Himchan and Daehyun were hiding among the audience for back up in case something goes wrong.
Jongup is still holding your hand.
“Ready?” it’s Yongguk speaking to them through your earpiece.
“3…2…1”
The lights go off and imminently people start screaming and you feel Jongup pull you up by your hand. He squeezes your hand and you squeeze his back in return. He swiftly leads you through the audience as you start hearing gunshots. There are more people screaming.
Jongup stops walking and pulls you in for a hug. His body heat is warm and comforting. You slowly wrap your hands around his waist.
“You will be free soon”, he whispers and he says it so sadly that your heart sinks.
Before you can say anything he lets you go. You hear a click and bright light pours in through the now open door. You feel Jongup pull your arm and push you out the door.
“Jongup!”
But the door is shut again. You start banging on the door. You stand there feeling hopeless. You hoped Jongup was safe. You hoped all of them were safe. You feel your heart sinking as you think about possibly losing Jongup.
While you are lost in your thoughts someone places a gun on the back of your head, making you freeze.
“Well, look who it is”, that was the sound of your boss’ voice, Minhyuk.
“You have been aiding those dammed B.A.P haven’t you”, he whispers in your ear.
You can’t say anything. Your mind has gone blank.
“How should I repay the favour?”
He starts walking circles around you. The gun is still pointing at you. Your mind starts screaming but you keep a calm exterior.
“Do you want to watch all your little friends die?”
“NO!”
Minhyuk laughs.
“I didn’t think so…how about I kill you first?”
You look eyes with Minhyuk and you take a deep breath. You close your eyes accepting your fate.
“Good choice”
You feel the gun on your forehead as you brace yourself. The gunshot rings in your ears but you don’t feel the pain. Instead you hear more and more gunshots. Your eyes are still shut tight but the feeling of the gun to your forehead is gone. You slowly open your eyes to see Minhyuk on the floor.
Jongup is standing there. His eyes look hollow as he carries on shooting Minhyuk’s dead body.
“Jongup!”
He doesn’t look up.
“Jongup stop!” you run to him and pull his hand back to stop him.
He finally looks at you and drops the gun. There is still a distant look in his eyes. You take his face in your hands.
“Jongup”, you whisper his name.
He looks like he is in pain but your voice doesn’t reach him.
“Jongup, you’re ok. I’m here”, you say softly as you pull his face down to your level.
You gently place a kiss on his lips and as you are about to pull away you feel his hand on the back of your head. He is kissing you back.
He whispers your name once the two of you finally pull back.
“I love you”, he whispers and you feel your heart skip a beat.
“I love you too”
You hug him tightly, happy that he was safe.
“I guess I’m not needed then”, Zelo says as him and the rest of the boys stand on the side awkwardly.
You can hear Yongguk softly chuckle over your earpiece.
