Someone asked about this some days ago, they read my mind because I was going exactly for this reading haha

The tower

The tower is the most unsettling card in tarots. It indicates a big change, often a traumatic one, but something that might make you stronger.

In this case, he has the type of energy that is ground breaking, something that shakes you up completely.

I can think of young people looking at him and realizing they want to become idols to perform like him.

When you see his passion and commitment, it makes you want to imitate it.

The people in his life might literally experience a pre-Nini and a post-Nini just from how impactful his presence is.

On a more personal level, it's possible Kai went through big changes on many levels, that he's like a phoenix, always destroying and constructing something new.

Right Now

He's spending more time with his family now. I think for a long time they couldn't meet as often, and that's changed these days. He really wanted this change to happen, and I see him getting closer to his family. At least for now, that's the situation.

He's been feeling a bit stressed trying to stay strong when he just wants to vent. I think he's a very sensitive person, and he's been trying really hard not to let people's comments or actions affect him. He's making an effort, but it's been really hard to pretend everything is okay and that he's strong enough to deal with certain situations.

He might be interested in someone at the moment, but there's some distance between them for some reason. They're not close right now, so he's really holding onto the memories they had together and wishing they could meet again.

He's also leaving behind a connection with a guy he used to consider really close.

I think he was the one who decided to stop being connected to this person, but it wasn't easy for him to make that decision. He spent a lot of time thinking about whether it was really the right choice.

Love Life

He's definitely involved with someone right now, and he doesn't want anyone to find out that he's with this person.

He's doing everything he can to keep it secret, and it seems very private. He kind of manifested this person; I think it was someone he was already interested in before. So, he sort of made a dream come true by being with this specific person.

But this connection isn't very healthy. I think there are a lot of insecurities between them, and they also fight a lot and have many disagreements. They've broken up before but ended up getting back together because he and this person have a lot of love for each other despite the turbulence.

Career

There is someone in a very high position in his company whom he doesn't trust. He thinks this person has toxic behaviors and that the way they treat him is unfair. He feels there is a lack of empathy in how this person acts and speaks to him, but he’s been trying to move on.

He's all right. It's stressful in different ways than being an idol. He's a bit worried about gaining weight. you sat playing with the hem of your skirt, eyes never leaving the screen. you did not want to admit but watching heeseung play was making you nervous. he knew your moves, of course he did, he taught you everything you know. you almost mimicked his moves in your gameplay and you were scared that would be your downfall. you watched as the game came to an end, as gxxn destroyed the other team's base. 

you feel hands on your shoulders, and glancing above you see seungmin nodding for you to come meet the team. he waits for you to walk around the table following after you as you both make your way to the team huddle.

“well, team we finally made it, to the competition we've been training in this season. zb1 is a newer developing team but don’t discredit them, they are here for a reason. we studied their movement and then we studied their dynamics. then did it once more for fun. if we keep to the game plan we have, we can win.” chan goes on pulling out a board of the map and going over the game plan. 

you didn’t realize you were zoning out, till seungmin started rubbing your back, trying to get you to calm down. he gives you a small smile, you let out a breath going back to listening to chan.

“anything you wish to say, captain.” 

“i trust you guys. don’t let me down,” he says, clapping a hand on jeongin’s shoulder and then walking towards the door. “let's go, they are waiting for us.”

you take your spot in the middle, to your left is seungmin, and to your right is jisung. you and jisung share a look only for him to reach out and shove your head away. you giggle placing the headset on. hearing the guys on the other side.

“who would have thought anvk’s princess would have so many fans?” minho said looking out above the console and reading the signs ahead.

“right? changbin you must be so proud.” you spoke into the mic, as you watched the home screen light to life, on the takken game.

“i knew you guys thought i was the princess. thank you.” he says batting his eyelashes at you guys on his right.

before you guys could continue your conversation, the announcer stops you guys, “hello and welcome to the second game of the 2024 takken arena championships, i’m kim jongin and this is my co-host byun baekhyun. we will be with you today for the remaining games. mr. byun would you like to say something.” jongin looks over at baekhyun.

“i’m excited for this match-up! zb1 is a newer group and to be able to make it to the championships is remarkable in itself. and as for anvk, we already know that their midsolo is a girl. that's all anyone can talk about.” 

“yes but that girl is extremely talented, she's quite impressive, watching her play always leaves me wanting more.” jongin says laughing into the mic.

“careful, that girl is dating the kim seungmin, leader of anvk and the top player of takken. so you better pay nice, mr. kim.

as the announcers continued to laugh giving the latest updates and stats about both sides, both teams were picking players and the match was off.

“it's coming down to the last tower before anvk completely takes over zb1s tower. this was fairly a quick game. it seems anvk is taking a very aggressive approach.” baekhyun says going over some points.

“what i think is fascinating is that usually the midsolo or top lane holds the position of power but this time they put all their power in the bottom lane almost like they are trying to subdue zb1s hanbin. and if i am being frank it's a smart move.” 

“oh shit, i mean crap i can't curse but anvk has reached zb1s tower and is on their way to taking the game! this was an amazing gameplay that anvk has portrayed and it makes me wonder what other tricks they have up their sleeves.” jongin looks down to watch as anvk gets up to shake hands with zb1 and go to the front and wave out to the crowd.

“well this will take us to miss cho miyeon with exclusive interviews with team anvk. this has been kim jongin and..”

“byun baekhyun.” 

“and we will see you for the next game of atzz vs epex!” 

jeongin rushed out of the line stating he had to shit, and during the whole game, he had to shit. it was one of the reasons y’all had to push so aggressively because he was gonna shit his pants. you laugh as he rushes out ahead of you as seungmin makes his way to the interview center.

“im taking over for the kid, ill be in the room after and we can watch the svt game down in the player section okay?” he tells you as you nod your head. “grab something to snack on as well, we won't be able to eat till after we play bnd.” he plants a kiss on your temple then goes down to capture your lips in his. 

you both separate as you make your way to your dressing room. when you open the door, you notice there are way more people in there than your team. all heads turn to you as you see your friends from back home. “great job kicking butt baby.” julie says rushing up to give her a hug followed by yunjin and yuna. you all laugh and chat over each other mostly about how cool you looked playing and then going down to when they got in. 

“wait where’s hyunjin?” you say looking around to see he wasn’t in there.

“he said he was going to the bathroom,” yuna says shrugging her shoulders. 

“he has been out for a while, did he fall in?” julie says. “ill go look for him.”

“oh me too,” you say following her out, grabbing onto her hand and leaning into her. “i missed you guys. this way if i remember correctly” you lead her toward the bathroom just as dk walks out. 

“yo y/n hey! woah who is that?” he says rushing up to you both taking in julie. he extends a hand “im dk.” 

“and im not interested.” 

you watch as dk rolls his eyes turning his head back to you “are you gonna watch us?” he gives you his best puppy eyes. you laugh nodding your head.

“yeah, we are after this, was there anyone else in there?” 

“nope just me, which is surprising.”

“was jeongin not in there either?” you ask starting to get worried that he has been gone for a while now.

“nope like i said nobody was in there.” you give him a smile murmuring thanks, before separating. 

“lets try the second floor, the stairs are this way.” you pull julie to the stairs, and as you push open, you see two guys in the corner of the stairwell, when they hear the door open they pull apart turning to face you both. 

“hyunjin?” julie says mouth agape. 

“jeongin? were you guys kissing?” you shout out your face pulling the same expression as julies. you didn’t even wait for an answer as you turned around heading back to the room. you could hear the sound of julie laughing and the embarrassed tone of hyunjin. you also ignored the calls of your name continuing not bothering to respond. 

seungmin was walking to the door at the same time as he saw you followed by a worried-looking jeongin. you quickly wrapped your arms around him hiding your face in the crook of his neck, as seungmin watches jeongin look like he has a tail between his legs. and before he could ask what was wrong he saw a red-looking hyunjin followed by julie who was making kissing noises at him. he put the pieces together.

Hi anon! It was on my to-do list, so here it is! It was a fun reading, they must've been pretty young when they met, especially Kai :')

Their relationship

It's a relationship that didn't begin on a good note.

I think there was some sort of evolution, getting to know the other better, sharing experiences etc.

It was a process to build trust in each other, so I assume that at first they might've been a bit wary of each other.

One of them felt like they were left out or ignored.

At one point they solved their problems although I don't think there was a real issue like them arguing about something, but it was more like having a prejudice or a preconception that was later proved wrong naturally just by spending time together.

I have the impression Kai was a bit immature when they met and he couldn’t understand Kyungsoo at all.

But at some point they found a common ground and started to work on their relationship.

I think there’s appreciation and respect in both parties and a willingness to preserve their union.

If you’re willing to protect a relationship, it means there’s a lot of affection and interest for each other.

It's possible one of them became protective, like a support whenever the other feels lost.

I truly feel that they really developed a nice and comfy union.

What Kai thinks

He thinks Kyungsoo is mysterious and hard to understand.

It’s possible at first he wasn’t even that interested in knowing him more and it’s possible he had a bad impression of him

He probably was unable to read him and got contradicting signals, like idk Kyungsoo might've seem very cold, but then he was willing to give him a hand or to lend him stuff, so he might’ve wondered for a good chunk of time if Kyungsoo hated him or not.

It’s kinda similar to what I found for Chanyeol, but he tried to approach Kyungsoo and his introverted aura was interesting for him, while Kai was extremely intimidated, so it might’ve taken him longer to get used to him.

Chanyeol got King of Wands in his reading while Kai gets king of Pentacles. Kyungsoo is indeed a king lmao

Jokes aside, king of pentacles shows that at some point Kai got to know Kyungsoo better and that he realized that behind his cold aura there is a very kind and reliable person, mature, successful, loyal, encouraging.

Pretty much like Chanyeol, he also recognizes Kyungsoo’s solidity, his hardworking persona and his sweet heart.

From this it seems like Kyungsoo is a pretty coherent person and always himself, no matter who he’s dealing with. It would be fun to do a reading with another member and see if I get again similar vibes lmao

What Kyungsoo thinks

I feel Kyungsoo might’ve felt Kai’s “fear” of him and probably got a bit hurt because of that.

Probably he wanted to be friends from the first moment they met, but Kai was like “omg does he hate me?”, so he might’ve felt extremely frustrated.

He might’ve wondered why he was so intimidated by him even though he never did anything wrong.

At some point they managed to solve their issues, as I said. Kai finally understood Kyungsoo better.

Or simply Jongin became more mature.

I’m not sure if Kyungsoo fully got over the initial stage of their relationship, he might have those 3am moments when you wake up and remember what you did when you were 15yo and he probably remembers how awkward they were.

Probably there were pretty embarrassing moments for him, who knows if any of the other trainees teased them or something like that.

But now they definitely reached an equilibrium, they have a peaceful relationship.

Is Exo and soloist Kai more grounded than most idols?

Yes!! Along with a very strong yes, all of the cards I pulled were super positive. It comes up that his success has a lot to do with not only his hard work, but how he’s treated people along the way. I also get he isn’t really someone who complains or gives others a hard time in the industry, he comes to work and gets his job done because he knows it benefits not only his future, but the future of those around him be it staff or teammate.

“baby?”, you called him, catching his attention immediately and also receiving a few looks from his members. “can you get me another beer?”

you stretched your arm towards the cold metal bucket sitting on the tiny table in front of you. bottles were spread around it, all empty, but somehow the bucket was still full - probably someone from the bar reloaded it when you went to the bathroom.

“or else you’re called a brat”, taemin completed, laughing too.

baekhyun’s attempt to brush it off didn’t work, and you could see on his face that he was trying to come up with a joke to get himself out of it.

“you should see who’s the brat when we’re alone…”, he said with a smirk on his face, and you just couldn’t believe it.

really? he would try to sound like he had any type of upper hand on you now? five pairs of eyes fell on you, closely watching as you looked at baekhyun in disbelief.

“are you sure you wanna play this way?”, you asked him.

baekhyun slowly looked at you, lips pressed into a line. you shot up an eyebrow, smirking at him like a challenge. he blinked a few times, mouthing a “i’m sorry” before turning to his friends again. 

the disbelief was now on jongin’s face, who stared at you with wide eyes. mark, just like a mirror, did the same a few seconds afterwards (when he understood what had just happened).

“i can’t believe it… you made him shut up!”, jongin exclaimed, the guys around him trying their best not to laugh. “i’ve been trying to do that for years now!”

“you better quit, jongin ah. you are not her”, baekhyun said, also reaching for another beer.

“what’s the secret?”, taemin asked, much to baekhyun’s annoyance.

“oh…”, you smiled. “he just knows that only good boys end up in my bed.”

again, baekhyun licked his lips. the laughing and screaming from his members weren’t enough to make him not look at you, desperately trying not to smile. 

you winked at him, before looking at the boys and seeing both taeyong and mark blushing. 

because, truth was: baekhyun was all loud and energetic around people, making everyone laugh and being the life of the party anywhere he stepped his foot in. he could easily give off dom vibes - or maybe not even dom, just the one who had the final word on your relationship. but you knew better than that.

oh, you knew so much better than that.

baekhyun’s laugh echoed through the pleace, getting mixed to the other ones.

he knew it wasn't the smartest excuse, he knew at least half of them would know what he meant - but the thing was, he didn't really care if they understood what he was about to do.
