Bryan Ferry's guitar player? Wait, isn't that David Gilmour of Pink Floyd? Well, he did a lot of things, including playing on an album by Peter Cetera. The latter event shocks me, since Gilmour doesn't seem to be that close to American scene, yet I assume Patrick Leonard's work with Ferry – Leonard also produced Cetera's album with Gilmour's collaboration – got him there. While the tune they did together doesn't really move much from the usual formula of the singer, I do think they could've developed their collaboration later on into something much more interesting. I mean, Cetera could've gone for the heights of Ferry, though I assume he had other plans, which did not really fit with what Gilmour does. Still, one can dream.

Big fan of the "hears for the first time" genre of videos and love to see master artists do their thing. So I fell down a small rabbit hole of drummers hearing songs for the first time and making their own drum part. So cool.

And the two methods are just absolutely different and very cool.

Tito Jackson, Iconic Jackson 5 Member, Dies at 70

Tito Jackson, the renowned member of the Jackson 5 and brother of the late Michael Jackson, has passed away at age 70, according to US media. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Jackson, who was in Munich preparing for a performance, was a key figure in the legendary group alongside Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, who died in 2009. Tito’s sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, confirmed the news via Instagram, expressing their profound grief and honoring their father's legacy with a heartfelt tribute.

The Jackson 5, formed in 1964, achieved worldwide fame with hits like "ABC," "The Love You Save," and "I Want You Back," selling over 150 million records. They received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 1980 and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Tito recently performed at the Fool in Love Festival in California with his siblings. Tributes have poured in, including a moving message from former drummer Jonathan Moffett, who described his sorrow and extended his condolences to the Jackson family.

In addition to his work with the Jackson 5, Tito had a solo career, including his 2016 Billboard-charting single "Get It Baby." He was the third eldest of the Jackson siblings, including Janet and LaToya Jackson.

Charm School by Roxette belong to a special category of the comeback platters. These records remind people why they liked their musicians, since they achieve a lot of success thanks to such reminders. However, they are not usually good. Mind you, they're also not bad, but they point towards their players' heights without reaching them. Sleeping With The Past by Elton John might be one of the epitomes here. I've said this before – very few could consider this to be his greatest LP, though I would suggest he needed this record. Sure, his status was never in question, yet Elton John is at his best, when he converses with the pop scene at the time. This is him being all late 80's with all the latter period entails.
