New video about the Brides has dropped!

I think it's the first time I hear about the Transylvania Twist movie. Might be one of the few where they are portrayed as Dracula's family members (I don't remember who the vampiress from The Reluctant Werewolf is to him.) And Jonathan (1970) appears to be an even weirder movie than I thought.

A Contest You Can Sink Your Teeth Into! Jonathan Frid crowning New Jersey's Christine Domaniecki as the regional winner of The Miss American Vampire Contest, 1970. This was a promotional gimmick on the part of MGM for the "Dark Shadows" feature film "House of Dark Shadows," the winner awarded a trip to New York and a guest spot on the TV series. Weirdly, Sacheen Littlefeather -- later to appear at the Oscars three years later to decline Marlon Brando's award for "The Godfather" on his behalf -- would take the final crown, but ultimately never claim the grand prize, Domaniecki appearing on the series instead.
