I don’t think it’s officially stated anywhere, it might be, but I like to think this way. Whenever I’m playing elden ring and I see the white phantoms of other players just exploring or opening a door or climbing a ladder, I wonder if those are the same players seeing me at the same time. Like I hope it’s mutual. I hope that I’m really seeing that other explorer at that moment. In such a vast land to explore in, this other person and I, untold miles separating us, happened to be finding the same site of grace at the same time and got to meet (however briefly) just to affirm that we’re not alone. To see what the other person made it here with, how cool they look and how I wish I could ask where that helmet came from, but there’s not even a name. Just an instant of eye contact between them.

this is solaire. i am aware that we have seen his modelled face, but his helmet has always implied a beautiful handsome face underneath. you also expect his face to look like his helmet, in a way? like the vibe of his face would match the vibe of his helmet.
