Education headcanons:

Although some of these are canon

Giorno: is still in highschool, but stopped showing up for class when he joined passione. He still makes a point to always be learning, but only focuses on subjects he is interested in. He knows lots of information about the biological world, but has no idea what certain historical figures have done, unless they were particularly interesting to him. Also he sucks at spelling words correctly. In elementary school he wrote a research report on different types of bugs and accidentally released a bunch of bugs into the school and that apparently bothered some of the teachers and other students.

Bruno: he has like half of a middle school education, and his grades were never super high because he would spend time helping his dad with work instead of completing his homework. Up until his parents divorce, then his dad wanted him to focus more on school. But that stopped after his dads incident, and he started providing for him and his dad and protecting him. He asked Fugo to teach him some math, and Fugo reluctantly agreed. But Fugo will go out of his way to try to avoid having to tutor the man because Bruno has a rough time understanding simple concepts and it makes Fugo want to resort to violence. But Fugo respects Bruno and doesn’t want to snap at him because he knows he isn’t trying to piss him off, Bruno’s just dumb as fuck sometimes.

Abbacchio: has a highschool education and went to the police academy. He also has a few basic college courses under his belt. He had a “have to learn in order to get the job I want” mentality towards school, opposed to being super interested in it. He failed PE in middle school and was bullied for it so badly that he started working out everyday so that would never happen again. Also I kinda think he has a photographic memory, which his stand reflects well. He went to a Catholic highschool and his parents were upset that he hadn’t met a nice catholic girl by the time he graduated highschool.

Mista: has a highschool education and wasn’t really interested in getting any degrees, kinda just wanted to fuck around in his young adult years. Math made him cry, and not because he didn’t understand it, he was actually good at math. But the number 4 would haunt his papers. Asked a lot of questions during class. were they ever relevant? No. Did he ask them? Yes. “Hey teach, so gravity. Like what if instead of the earth having a gravitational pull some rando named, uh, Seth did. But ONLY Seth, and everyone was constantly being pulled towards Seth and if you jumped you’d land back on Seth. How would we survive as a species if that were the case?”

Narancia: elementary school dropout. Gets distracted super easily. Would rather do anything but school, however he is very sensitive about having not even finished elementary school. He will pep talk himself into wanting to learn math and things, and then he will start again and will remember why he hates school. But it’s worse when he actually goes to school and sees eight year olds that understand things better than him. opposed to Fugo tutoring him and only having to feel stupid in front of the smartest person he has ever met, like everyone else feels stupid around Fugo too so.

Fugo: you know, the gifted child that went to university super early. Smartest one in the group. He was the kid that would use his pencils entirely until they were sharpened into tiny little things you could barely hold. Also he bites his pens and pencils. He thinks the pencils are more flavorful. Oh and erasers, those tasted good too. The other kids never wanted to play with him because of his short temper, but that didn’t matter because his parents told him that only stupid kids use recess time to play. Classrooms were super overstimulating for him, with that stupid LED lighting that made him feel like he needed to blink his eyes a hundred times. And then doing that would make him feel dizzy and irritable. Like the lights were the worst amount of bright and the worst shade of the color white, and if one of the bulbs flickered he would feel like throwing up. His parents thought he had been drinking once after being in a classroom for too long, but no it was the lights.

Trish: she isn’t stupid, but she was definitely the type to get others to do her homework for her. Is in the middle of highschool. she would spend all of study hour planning elaborate schemes to skip class with her and her friends. Wanted to go to college but wasn’t sure how she was going to pay for it, her new plan involves passione money. That or she is going to become famous, if Bruno and co. would actually let her live instead of saying things like “it’s too dangerous with other mafia members knowing your name”.

So, a while ago, I had this idea that Usagi was actually the kid who owned the pet parrot on the bus that was burned by Jodio. I decided to take it a step further and make myself sad by coming up with this headcanon on what happens when Usagi dies.

Usagi's father had a pet parrot all his life and it was a rather old yet friendly bird that Usagi grew up helping take care of. When Usagi's father died, Usagi decided to start taking care of the bird rather than have his mom give it away.

In a way, this bird was the remaining physical connection Usagi had with his father. Unable to openly mourn for him for his mother's sake, Usagi would spend hours taking care of this bird and finding comfort in its presence as a way to cope with losing his dad. When he began high school and became worried about whether he would be bullied or not fit in, Usagi would sneak his bird into school so he wouldn't feel alone. The students eventually caught on and they started to hang out with Usagi in hopes of hanging out with his pet bird. Usagi became well-liked, which helped him avoid bullies, and he would often sneak his bird to school for his own emotional support.

When the bus caught fire and the students on it were ultimately evacuated after the flames were extinguished, the bird somehow escaped amiss the chaos. Usagi woke up in the hospital soon after and the first thing he asked was where his bird went. The firemen were sympathetic and the police tried to gently tell him the bird perished, but Usagi refused to believe that his bird died in the flames. He swore he saw the bird still alive on the bus when the flames mysteriously extinguished before he blacked out. His mother tried to persuade him in getting a new bird but Usagi refused to get one as a replacement. For a while, he made lost-and-found papers, he asked his "friends" to help find his bird, and he even waited in the front of his house hoping the bird would fly back home. But, the bird never came back. Usagi tries to hide it but he has an overwhelming amount of guilt because he lost the one thing his father used to cherish while he was alive.

Cut to some time in The JOJOLands. Usagi, through spending time with Team Jodio, learns to find closure with his dad's death. However, he isn't able to start anew because he now finds himself dying. He sacrificed his life to save Team Jodio and allow them to escape their enemies, but he was now about to die in the thick of a jungle without anyone able to save him. It would be a while before a wild animal, a passing tourist, or local would find his body and declare him dead. He doesn't know how to feel about all of this besides the pain his body feels as it become weaker and his eyes become heavier. That's when he suddenly hears a familiar yet weary chirp come closer and closer.

His bird finally came back. Years of living in the wild and old age has left it seemingly unrecognizable, yet Usagi knew based on how the bird weakly landed on Usagi's chest and caressed itself against his face was the parrot he lost years ago. The bird itself was trying to apologize about disappearing for so long but grateful to find its owner's son. It too was about to die due to natural causes and Usagi felt it start to move less with each breath. Both of them knew that the two only had so much time before they died. But, both were also happy to at least see each other one last time. Usagi, despite the unbearable pain he had just felt a while ago, died peacefully smiling, knowing that his wish was finally granted.

And that wish... was to see his dad again.

Ok so just a funny idea: imagine if after Johnny and mer! Gyro met it takes Johnny a very long time to realize that Gyro is actually a merman 😂

Every night Johnny wheels his way over to shore onto the pier, staring out at the evening sea and wistfully mourning his broken dreams. And also every night, Gyro comes to the surface under cover of darkness, marveling at the beauty of the surface world while keeping hidden from humans.

One day, both of them come onto the pier on the same evening and Johnny realizes there's someone in the water. They get into a little conversation before Gyro departs. Both of them feel quite lonely, so they start meeting over at the pier more regularly every night, getting to chat and gradually coming to enjoy each other's company and gaining each other's trust.

It's dark out, so Johnny doesn't really see much, but he does eventually start to question, "wait a second, what are you doing out in the ocean late at night anyway? And how come I've never seen you get out of the water? You're not...naked down there are you?" Gyro just laughs it off and Johnny thinks "yeah, he's definitely starkers out there, who am I to judge."

It isn't until some time later that Johnny invites him over to stay at his place for the night during a cold spell, since the water would be very chilly that night. Gyro is like "Well, since we've known each other for quite a while, I have a secret I have to tell you." Johnny is like "We'll talk about it once we get inside, we don't want you to freeze out here or catch a cold!"

To his surprise, he notices that Gyro is crawling as he makes his way to Johnny's house. Johnny winces in sympathy, knowing what it's like to struggle without his chair. "Oh, he's also disabled like me, he can't walk. Is that the secret he wanted to tell me? No wonder he came to bond with me, we're the same all this time."

Only to realize, upon seeing Gyro in the bright lights of his house, that they aren't alike at all.

"OH MY GOD! GYRO, YOU'VE GOT A FREAKING SHARK SWALLOWING HALF OF YOU!"

"No, no that was what I wanted to tell you. That 'shark' is my tail. I'm a merman."

And at that point, Johnny just faints from surprise right on the spot. 😂

HAHAHAHAHA, I thought about this kind of scene at some point, taking advantage of the fact that mer!Gyro is usually hiding from humans behind some rocks at the shore, but the way you described everything is cute and hilarious, and I love it ❤️ I'm sure everyone will love reading this, too.

You had been dating the Don for almost a year now. He was only 16 years old, yet had such a huge weight on his shoulders. You knew that he loved what he did, and was very proud of it, as he should be. He had worked so hard and endured so much to make it to where he is now. It was incredible, really, to see someone so young have so much resolve and determination. That's what first drove you to him.

One particular night after the two of you had come home from a nice dinner in the city, Giorno was being especially quiet. All night at dinner he had been quiet as well, more than he usually was. He tried his hardest to act normal towards you, placing small kisses on your hand and flashing small smiles your way. But you knew him better than anyone, and knew he just wasn't being himself. He sat on the large velvet couch next to the open balcony doors, staring silently out into the night. The pale moonlight illuminated his golden locks and fair skin, giving him an almost angelic glow.

You walked up behind the couch, reaching over the top to wrap your arms around his shoulders. He smelled like lavender and expensive cologne. "What's on your mind, amore?" You asked gently, face pressed into the soft skin of his neck.

"Nothing much, just admiring the beautiful night," He said quietly. He hated for you to worry, and constantly tried to keep his feelings to himself as not to upset you. However you always saw right through him. Giorno was an emotional person, but wasn't always the best at expressing them.

"Giorno," you said gently, walking around the couch to sit beside him. You grabbed his hands and locked your fingers with his. "You know you can tell me if something's bothering you."

He turned to face you, his emerald eyes meeting yours. He took a deep breath in, slowly letting it back out. "I know I've worked so hard to get to where I am now, and I'm proud of myself. I'm proud of where I am now and the changes I've been making to the organization," he started. "But I just can't help but feel a little overwhelmed. I'm in charge of so many people's livelihoods. I have to make sure all of my men are taken care of and able to provide for their own families. One slip up by me and everything goes South."

"But Giorno," you said, grabbing his hands tighter. "You're doing so great. You're doing everything that's expected of you and more. You always go above and beyond to put others above yourself, without worrying about your own needs. You have to take some time for yourself, and take care of you baby."

He smiled softly and pulled your hand up to his lips to place a soft kiss on your knuckles. "I've also been really missing the others lately." He said softly. You felt a twinge of pain in your heart because you knew exactly who he was talking about, without him even having to go into detail. "It's times like these when I really wish Bucciarati was here to give me advice. He's the reason I was even able to get to this point, I just wish he could point me in the right direction,"

"Giorno, Bucciarati would be so incredibly proud of the man you've become. The changes you're making are exactly what he would be doing if he were here. If there is an afterlife, he's watching down on you right now and smiling with the others." You knew that nothing you could say would bring them back, but your words would hopefully bring him some comfort.

He smiled, grabbing your arm and pulling you into a hug. He kissed the top of your head gently, holding you against his warm chest. You could feel warm tear drops falling into your hair. He held you against him, looking off into the moonlit streets outside.

"I promise I'll do right by them. I have to do this for them, and all of the people in my city. I have to do this for you, for me, for us. I promise to restore virtue and honor to this organization." He said proudly, holding you to his chest. Your heart swelled. You loved hearing him talk about his dreams, and how determined he was. You knew deep down that if Giorno wanted something done, he did it. You were excited to see what the future held for the two of you going forward.
