Hmm... random headcanons? It’s hard to think about any without a specific character in mind so feel free to send another ask with one!! :D

Whenever you play the game, the characters in your team are able to hear the background music as well. > Although faintly in the distance, it’s definitely there. Some characters despise it, while others have to resist bobbing their head up and down to the beat. > The music disappears when you put them off the team or when your log off.

Putting characters into the teapot is exactly as fanarts depicts it. > The traveler comes up to them with the silverware and politely asks them to join. When the playable character reaches their hand out to the teapot, they’re sucked into the realm and teleported inside. > The first time is always the worst.

Characters grow dizzy when you spin them around for a while. The code is the only thing keeping them upright when you spin them for the twentieth time-

ALSO!! Remember when I made the “Food chart” for Mond+Liyue? I took this ask as an opportunity to make an Inazuma+Sumeru one as well >:D

Some of the voice lines about food I had to mention:

Gorou sobbing in front of everyone because the logistics division added onion to his food

Heizou slipping in and out to grab a quick bite whenever he has to eat dinner at the Police Station (he would be gone the moment you’d try to feed him anything he doesn’t want to)

Dori will eat the charcoal-baked cakes but only at the cost of your mora. Fortunately for everyone, you don’t seem to know where your (now) missing 500.000 mora went

Yoimiya stating that she has a Seelie in her stomach. Don’t know if I should be concerned or laugh at this voiceline XD

Nahida comparing seafood to “ swallowing an icky storm cloud.”... does she experience foods the same was as Xiao? (the one who compares almond tofu with “a sweet dream” XD it just sounds… familiar in a way-)

A/N: I got too invested in writing so it's longer than the others 💀💀💀

Celestine decided that the law firm should do a secret santa, everyone agreed to the idea and Kiki offered to make the draws. Kiki notified that the drawing lot was ready, Celestine gathered everyone and started to line up for the draw. 

Artem was originally not planning to join the lot but Celestine managed to persuade him until he agreed. He was at the back of the line, he was trying to look for you since he was relatively tall. 

You were the next person to draw the lot so you picked the small piece of paper and left the line then went back to your chair and checked on who you got. ‘Artem’ was written on it, you began to overthink on what to give your boss since there was barely anything to get him something worth.

You sighed and walked towards Celestine’s direction, asking for her help. You grasped her wrist gently and dragged her near the lounge area of the firm. “Please don’t tell Artem about this” You pleaded in a small voice, putting both of your hands together and closing your eyes that she wouldn’t. “You got Artem?” Celestine was surprised by the interesting revelation that had unfolded. “Yes and I’m here to ask what he wants” You requested to her, Celestine giggled at the sight behold her eyes. ‘Artem will be happy,’ She thought to herself. “I’ll ask once work is over” Celestine reassured you, patting you by your shoulder. 

After that, the two of you went back to your respective area and continued on working on some cases. You glanced at the time on your desktop, it was nearly time to go home and begin to pack up your stuff. 

Just before you left the firm, Kiki called you and pulled you to the ‘Secret Santa Wish List’ that was put up on the bulletin board. Kiki handed you a black permanent marker and you wrote down the stuff you wanted. You peeked at your co-workers wishlist in the hope of finding Artem’s name. You didn’t succeed in it since he hasn’t written anything yet. 

You left the firm, feeling sorrow and decided to head home as soon as possible. You called a cab to drive you back to your beloved safe place.You turned your head to look out in the window, admiring the same Stellis that you grew up in. 

You snapped out of your mind when the driver kindly gestured to you to see that you were in front of your building already. You quickly handed the cash to your driver and got out. 

You finally reached the inside of your apartment, you tiredly placed your bag down and sat on the cushion. You sighed and mindlessly scrolled through social media then a ‘ping!’ a notification message from Celestine came, stating what Artem wants.

You texted Celestine back with a “Thank you!” and mentally prepared for yourself and your wallet. You went to your small work table and began searching for where to find them then a thought hit you. There was a small antique shop that was near your area and you’ve been wanting to check it out for some time. 

You gathered all of your might to rise up from the swivel chair and left your apartment. You walked around your area to look for the shop. You noticed the vintage-style logo and proceeded inside of it. There was a vast variety of items from the past. 

You carefully observed each shelf that displayed antiques from the previous time. There was a fountain pen that caught your eye was a Waterman's Ideal No.52, it was made in the USA around the 1920s and it was perfect for Artem. You looked at the price tag and it was 180 Stellis coins. You cried at the sight of the amount of a foundation pen. ‘I’ll attempt to bargain to lower the price’ You sighed and continued to keep an eye out for selener. 

The shop had tons of items ranging from postcards to lanterns and more. You came across a small shelf that had kitchen equipment. There was a petty knife from a Japanese brand called Misono, which is a successful family-owned business. The knife is made out of molybdenum, a chemical that increases the hardenability and strength of steel. You took a look at the price and it was 60 Stellis coins, you were shocked at the cost of it. A white paper that was folded in half and taped down with a writing that says ‘These items are on discount :)’. You threw a fist in the air since you got two of Artem’s wishlist down. 

You took the knife and pen to the cashier who was a gentleman in his mid-50s. You kindly attempted to bargain with him and it worked as the fountain pen was now 130 Stellis coins so you paid it with your credit card and headed back. 

You remembered that there was only one more item left in his wishlist, that was a tablet cover case. You got to your work table and immediately typed ‘PAXAZON’ to buy him a simple black leather tablet case and made your purchase. 

A few hours later, the delivery man came and left your package at your door. You picked it and quickly placed Artem’s gift on a paper paper and wrote a simple letter saying ‘have a jolly christmas and happy new year’ then added some cute stickers and put it inside. 

Fast forward, today was the christmas party that the firm was holding, everyone dressed up in ugly sweaters and ate a lot of food. The party was amazing and you all had a fun time but the best part has come, which was the secret santa. 

Celestine first gave her present to the person who she got then the order went on and on until Kiki (who was your secret santa) gave you her present, you stood up and walked towards Artem’s direction, he was caught off-caught and looked a bit shy to receive your gift. You on the other hand, was flustered from it, everyone went ‘ooooo’ and some even made small comments about your relationship with Artem. 

As soon as everyone receives their presents from their secret santa, all of you open the gifts like excited children ripping the wrapped presents. Everyone was satisfied with what they got but you glanced at Artem’s expression to see if he likes it. 

Artem went to you and said “This is the best gift you could’ve given me.” You were content with what he said and felt like paying such a high cost was worth it. Artem flashed you a smile and walked away. You too had a huge grin hanging in your lips.

by the time your second year come around, aside from being known as “the flightless crow” and such, Karasuno boy’s VBC is also known to have the hottest and prettiest managers 🥵

but within your smol circle, you are known to be just a chill person, giving off an aura of the “cool kouhai”

Ukai and Mr Takeda will always rely on you to keep the boys in check when out in public since they respect you so much 

the way you carry yourself in front of other schools is impressive. no eyes are sharper than yours, and no way are you easily approached by boys if they want your number because your team comes first

getting caught up by other guys asking for your number is a no-no for you because then it will just delay the time

Jun often saw you play games, whether it be on console, PC or mobile- sometimes even nintendo and wii. At first, he didn't really understand the appeal, even though sometimes he went to the arcade and had a decent amount of fun. Playing that much though? Wouldn't it get a little old? Well, if you planned on converting him to a gamer, his opinion would very soon change.

✦➤ He mostly plays mobile games, the one with simple yet addictive gameplay. He doesn't have a problem putting them down when he's needed for something, whether it's something for work or something in his personal life. Gaming is fun, but it wasn't quite the priority for him. To him, there were just other things that were more urgent than a game.

✦➤ As soon he finds his competitive edge, Jun doesn't stop. It doesn't matter what kind of game it is; gacha, FPS (first person shooter), smash bros, or tetris- if he's on a streak and there's a goal and a competitor (even if it's you) he'll put his mind to it, and suddenly, this game is a priority. He will tell people to wait until he's finished this round, or until he feels he's done trying for that point in time.

✦➤ If the two of you find a game that you both enjoy, then he'd be glad to play with you. He doesn't mind even if it cuts late into the night; all that matters was that you're having fun. If you saw this earlier and noticed it was a giant wall of text, that’s because posting drafts from mobile seems to erase all links and other formatting in my posts. Note to self. Anyway: here’s to another set of resources. 

Yuki’s Japanese TV: He’s got a variety of video content from JLPT and grammar to vocab but also topics like food and life during a pandemic. What makes his channel extra special in my book (can you guess?) is that he speaks in Japanese. He does have some in English, and others where he speaks both, but as far as grammar—it’s in Japanese (from what I’ve seen). If that sounds intimidating, he hard subs a lot of his sentences (still in Japanese) and supplies graphics to help demonstrate points, so even if you don’t understand all that he says it’s still difficult to feel lost with Yuki.  

Automatic Japanese: I am in love with Asari’s channel! Most of her videos are spoken in Japanese and accompanied by Japanese and English subtitles (that she herself makes). She speaks with clarity and in a fair pace that I feel isn’t too fast or too slow, plus she’s given me some pretty solid learning tips this week. I also recommend checking out her IG! 

Learning Language with Youtube BETA: something I discovered from Asari! It’s similar to the LLN extension, but for YouTube. 

Learn Japanese with Noriko: a podcast in Japanese for listening practice, of course. But I love this one a little more because she offers some (limited) transcripts on her site, and that makes it a little easier (and more fun) for me to follow along. 

Erin’s Challenge! I Can Speak Japanese: having never used Erin’s Challenge, I’m not sure if this is an update of the old content or entirely new, but it’s here and ready to help you learn Japanese╭( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑ ˂ᵒ͜͡ᵏᵎ⁾✩ It’s a series of basic and advanced skit videos with additional parts like key phrases, scripts, and manga for onomatopoeia. I went into Lesson 7 and found it to be, yeah–completely cheesy–but also fun!  

Hito’s World: a fun game for learning kanji that I think is best for beginners–either that, or for hammering in the romaji spellings. Or at least in regards to the level I’ve worked up to. (And speaking as someone who never remembers which way is left or right–as in I literally bombed the same A&P quiz twice because I confused left and right–I really have to think about whether I need to type 右 or 左. It’s… a mental exercise.) I wish it allowed or accepted hiragana, but I know it’s a WIP. You can also join r/Hito and check out the road map. 

Tobira Vocabulary: Anki deck for Tobira (obviously). Beware: although it says it’s a complete vocab set, I’ve read two comments that claim otherwise. 

Tobira Kanji: includes kanji and vocab from all Tobira chapters. Another option if Anki’s not your thing (+ it may actually contain all vocab?). I’ve tried both the Tobira Anki deck and Memrise course, and I actually prefer Memrise in this case. But that’s just me. 

Learning ENG & JPN: I did a lot of hunting to find this again, and I almost thought it was a lost resource---this is a blog run by a native Japanese speaker who is learning English. Posts are short and written in both English and Japanese while containing interesting tidbits about Japan and its culture. 

Oshaberi Izakaya: this is a completely free way to get in some speaking practice with other learners organized by Japanese teacher Izumi Ise. They meet up a few times a month, but you’re not required to attend all meetings. 

Japanese Learner Cafe: similar to the one above, this provides a means to practice speaking. The on-site English allows room for needed clarity, but this is also through Zoom and I therefore assume 100% free. If anyone decides to try it I’d be interested to know what your experience was like!

ONE~♥♥♥ I know it's been awhile since you sent this to me, but answering things in my inbox on tumblr mobile is a game of Russian roulette that I don't particularly like. It's about a 50/50 chance that mobile will either nuke the ask, post it wrong, or actually do it right, so instead I'm on my computer so I can be sure that it won't implode. Now to think of 5 things that make me happy (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

1. The Korean webtoons/webnovels that I've been reading for the past year, such as: Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, Trash of the Count's Family/Lout of Count's Family, The S-Classes That I Raised, and SSS-Class Suicide Hunter/SSS-Class Revival Hunter (although I cannot read the official ENG version on Tapas for that last one, because they translated Kim Gong-ja's name as Confucius Kim...it makes me want to die...you don't translate someone's name like that D:< His name MEANS Confucius, sure, but it's still a Korean name, and you don't see WEBTOON changing Kim Dokja's name to Reader Kim *seethes*) to name a few.

2. Related to the things above, after finally joining Twitter just so I could consume fan content for those Korean IPs, I've recently discovered Group Orders and Korean Proxy services, so now I can actually buy all that amazing fan merch (like prints, acrylic standees, anthologies, and other misc. items) and official merch (mostly the physical books of either novels or manhwa, but if I can get a limited/special edition that comes with extra goodies, you damn well bet I will get it—they're almost never in ENG but I don't give two shits about that)! My wallet is starving and begging me to stop, but I get my seratonin from material goods so it can fuck right off.

3. @magnustesla existing *★°*☆(￣▽￣)/☆*°★* No but really, the KakaIru-specific events that they've modded for and helped put together since last year have been one of the few things that allowed me to keep my sanity all throughout 2020, and now into 2021. The KakaIru Zine? Blessed. The KakaIru Mini BB 2020/2021? So god damn wonderful. The KakaIru Big Bang 2021? I am so very honored to be able to participate in it. And not only all that, but they've been an amazing friend that I am blessed to know, and have always reached out to help if I've ever needed someone. You are a superstar, Magnus, and thank you for being you~♥

4. Writing! While it's been kind of stressful, because I've been writing for events lately—I'm writing for my BB piece right now and only just over half way done with it, and it's due next month (っ °Д °;)っ—it's also been extremely fun and rewarding. My writing doesn't really get a whole lot of attention, or 'make numbers' as the children say, but that's not what it's all about. Certainly, I love getting comments and kudos, knowing that people are enjoying something I've worked hard one, but even more than that I'm simply happy that I worked on something, finished it, and put it out there in the world.

5. Baggenshield fanfics. This one has always made me happy, but as with all fandoms I dip my feet into I tend to hyperfixate for a time, then go onto other things. Which is to say that it's been awhile since I last really delved into Baggenshield content, but I really got back into it this month, and it's such a comfort ship I cannot even begin to describe it. Even though canon killed off one too many dwarves (no dwarves should have died, fight me), thank god for fanfic, and the tag "Everyone Lives/Nobody Dies", because canon failed me. Bilbo has been one of my favorite characters since I was a tiny tot that had the illustrated book—the one with art from Rankin and Bass's animated movie of The Hobbit, and had a clear cover with Smaug and the dwarves/Gandalf/Bilbo on it on it that you could peel off to make the cover just the side of the Lonely Mountain—so to now be 32 years old, and still love him so dearly, but now also see him as queer as I am? ADORE HIM.

“Come in, Sugawara!” Sawamura looked over to the door, he didn't get the sentence out before the dook was burst open. Sugawara for all his feral-ness, did not lose his cool often; but right now, he looked frightened. “What’s wro-”

“Hinata and Kageyama got caught by the Castle.”

“WHAT!” Daichi snapped up, his chair falling to the ground as he stood. He wrinkled the papers between his hands in distress. He told them, he told all of the four newcomers to not cross the west bridge when they were making runs.  They had no business there. “I told them not to go there!”

Sugawara tugged at his arm. “Come on, we need to go before it’s too late, who knows what Oikawa and Iwaizumi will do to them?”

There was an unwritten rule that you were on your own in the gang, but Sawamura didn't want to give up the newbies just yet. He had become quite fond of them all since they joined, not that he tell them that.

“Where's Yamaguchi and Tsukishima?” He asked as they made their way down the hall.

“They got away, their with Asahi and the others,.” Sugawara told him hurriendly. “They got away, they said that people from Aoba Johsai kind of ambushed them and they managed to get away.”

Daish grounded as they opened the door to the common room. And as Sugawara said, Yamaguchi and Tsukishima was seated with Asahi and Kiyoko fussing over them. As much as all of them could face hardship with the life they had chosen, they were still a family, and family took care of other- even when they clearly broke the damned rules. Ukai is going to be pissed and unfortunately Takeda is going to be more pissed at all of them. 

Yamaguchi was seated in front of Kiyoko, while she tended to a bruised and split cheek. Tsukishima was glaring at Asahi who fussed over his bloody nose. Other than that, they did look fine. They clothes was wrinkled and ripped in some places, but they looked fine. At least they looked fine.

“Okay, what happened?” He crossed his arms and looked them both over. Even Asahi tensed at his voice. Or, it didn't take much for Asahi to get nervous and anxious.

“Sawamura-san.” Yamaguchi said in surprised and winched as Kiyoko cleaned his wound.

“What happened?”

“Aoba Johsai ambushed us” Tsukishima explained, voice rough and muffled by the hand krief over his nose.” Yamaguchi's looked over to his friend, and then down at his laps. “They took the opium, we tried to get it back, but they somehow got it. Oikawa’s members got hold of Hinata and Kageyama.”

“There were others after me and Tsukki, but we shook them off. I think some of them was a part of Kageyama-kun old gang. Actually, I really though they only wanted Kageyama-kun, but….um, we figured our best chance was that is some of us got back here.” Yamaguchi added. He did look more apologetic than his friend.

Sawamura rubbed the bridge of his nose. This was giving him a headache. So two of their youngest and newest members was in enemies hand and they also had the opium. All of the four of them was going to be put on leaches the next time they were going to take the runs.

“Okay, okay,” Sawamura straightened up, no need to dig their graves right now. He could still get the idiot duo back. “Tanaka and Sugawara, you come with me.” The addressed members stood up and nodded without much word. He could see that neither of them really wanted to go over there, and neither did him. Aoba Johsai was on of the top ranking gangs in the city, maybe the whole prefecture. And their little Karasuno would have to pay their souls if they ever got in real trouble with them. “Ennoshita, Narita and Kinoshita, get the medic supplies for when we get back.” It was already understandable that  Asahi and Kiyoko would tend to Yamaguchi and Tsukishima wounds and keep and eye at them. “Nishinoya, be ready for back-up.”

He tear them all a new one when he gets Hinata and Kageyama back. Because he definitely want to know why they were so stupid to go over to enemies territory.

As they made their way over to the car, Sawamura thought two things, that was that he was going to staple the rules to all of their foreheads, for doing something so reckless and dangerous. They put themselves in danger and others too. And that he was not looking forward to speak with Ukai and Takeda.

Daishi knew where Aoba Johsai kept their hideout. At least the smaller spaces. Where they had their main aide out, no one knew. 

He took Sugawara with him and let Tanaka wait in the car, with the message to check on them if hackles were raised. To many in there with him, and it might be too suspicious. 

They were greeted in with a few guards, that Sawamura hadn't seen before. Maybe Oikawa had decided to step up his game after the arduous turf war a few months ago. Maybe he could call up Nekoma for assistance, they were friendly with each other and it might work. Although, as much of a pain in the ass Kuroo could be, he was smart too- and wouldn't want any turf wars or beef with another prefecture.

“Oikawa-san,” The youngster called out. “Karasuno is here!”

Oikawa made his apprece and Iwaizumi stood close by, arm crossed and a scowl on his face. They looked untouched. No cuts or scabs or messy hair.  So they weren't in the fight.

“Sawamura-san,” Oikawa started a smile crossing his face. “I have to ask, what prompted you to send your member to my territory.” He leaned back n his desk, and laughed. He sounded pissed. At least they had that in common. “I can’t have four little spies wandering around here, you know, Sawamura's-san, so I had to send my men after them. Two got away, did you find them?”

Sawamura nodded back. Oikawa had this natural tendency to be mockinly and sly, while still muttering words of care.

“Ah, good, good.” Oikawa replied. It sounded fake, but Sawamura couldn't relay read the boss that well.

“Can we get our members back?” Sugawara stressed. He did have a little softer heart than Sawamura. but he himself prayed to the greater spirits that they were alive.

Oikawa signed, “Iwa-cahn, can you please bring out Shimphy and Tobio-chan.”

Iwaizumi huffed and opened a door as diapered. They stood in tense silence for a few minutes until Iwaizumi opened the door again. This time, one tall guy with black hair and one shorter with strawberry blond was guiding Hinata and Kageyama into the room.

Sawamura looked at them with big eyes. Hinata’s shirt was a bloodied, and he had dried blood in his hair and over his left ear. He might have hit something. Or someone had hit him. He walked fine, it looked like he was more scared than hurt. Kageyama looked worse. He was dazed, eyes was glassy and foggy, it looked like he had thrown up over himself.

“Sugawara!” Hinata called out and wrenched himself from the blond man and ran over to Sugawara. Sugawara took him with open arms and Hinata prompted to hide behind their backs. Kageyama was still walking slowly towards them with the support of the tall raven haired boy. 

“Tobio-chan here might have a concussion, you might want to check him out.” Sawamura nodded as Oikawa spoke to him. At least he was being honest.

They got Kageyama, and Sawamura grimaced at the state of him. “Sugawara, take them back to the car, I’ll be out soon.” Sugawara nodded quietly to him and Sawamura saw one of the Aoba Johsai members stand up to guide them out.

“So, Sawamura,” Oikawa stretched his name out. “How will you pay me for the mess you have made. I don't like getting my boys in fight you know? They got hurt pretty badly too.” OIkawa looked at him. Eyes getting dark and set. 

“Take the opium.” Sawamura said, stopping Oikawa in his tracks. “Take it, and we’ll pretend like this never happened. I apologize for the mess my members made for you and your members. Hope no one was hurt to badly.” He could hear some of the other members mummer and whisper behind him at his proposal.

“Eh!” Oikawa said in surprise.

“Take it, I don't want anything else. I don't want to escalate this further, that won't do either of us any good.” Sawamura stood tall and straight as he spoke. If they tried something, he knew Nishinoya and Tanaka would help him and Sugawara would get Kageyama and Hinata to safety. They might not be able to take all of Aoba Johsai down, but they could espace together.

“Sawamura-san, you're a man of your words, I know that.” Oikawa sadi and stood up. “So, I accept your payment.” Oikawa stretched out his hand. “I will let them go for now, but I can’t promise something for the next time rules are broken.”

“I don't expect you too.” Sawamura said as he sook Oikawa's hand. Oikawa was an honest man too, and Sawamura knew they wouldn't attack him now.

He got led out by the same young member as he was met with first. He bowed to the man as he exited the door. Walking a block over, he saw Sugawara hold Kageyama as he was throwing up into the gravel and Tanaka was nursing Hinata’s head the best he could.

It was a hard life, but at least they had each other.

At least Sawamura still had all of his members.

* It was actually V that suggested they all take a trip together, and well, he and Jumin, being the rich kids they are, decided staying in the country just isn’t good enough, nope

* Well, none of the other members were about to complain over a free vacation, so they agreed on travelling to Greece-they all constantly heard what an exotic destination it is, the gorgeous sandy beaches and friendly locals....

* ...What they weren’t expecting was the busy bustling city they landed in, the fast cheerful way people would speak fire-speed greek to them, and the driving-god the DRIVING

* ((Seven offered to be the designated driver so that they won’t have to split into cabs all the time to go places and boy-BOY. It’s bad enough that he drives like a maniac in wide highways and streets, but his driving + the narrow greek roads with cars parked in any and all directions? Chaos ensued))

* Despite the cultural shock they all actually really enjoy their time in Athens-there’s always something to do, the weather is beautiful, and from the roof of their hotel they get a view all the way to the Acropolis, the sunset mesmerizing as they all lean on the terrace balcony together, content to look to the sky in silence

* Jaehee was the most relucant to come to this vacation trip-going on vacation is great, definitely, but going on vacations with your boss is an entirely different matter

* Yet it seemed like the greek air affected Jumin differently-he’s more calm, exchanging his usual suit and tie for casual polo shirts and jeans, a sight that leaves even Zen wide-eyed; who knew the trust-fund kid had more than just suits in his closet?!

* V is the happiest of them all though-to be able to be here, to see his beloved RFA, his family laughing and having fun together, explroing a new city with them in tow-this minty man’s as happy as can be, and will take every chance he gets to take commemorative photos of each of the members, and definitely a few selfies with all of them

* Yoosung actually brought his laptop with him, certain he’ll be spending some time alone in the hotel room playing games, but he in fact doesn’t turn his pc on even once-they all spent every day exploring and visiting tourist attractions, and by night time he actually spends a lot of time just chilling and talking with Seven who he’s sharing a room with, surprised to find out so much more about his best friend in their time this close together

* Zen...poor Zen is literally stopped every five minutes and is asked for a picture. Many people don’t even know who he is, but seeing a man so attractive and foreign walk around, many older ladies figure he must be some sort of popular actor their daughters will scream over if they see

* He’s even stopped while visiting the Acropolis museum, made to pose beside different statues to see how much he resembles them-from the physique to the bone sculpture to the slope of his jaw, people stare as he passes by, his white hair nearly matching the colorus of the sculptures

* Jaehee actually has to shield him more than once and drag him through the crowd so he won’t get stuck there lmao

* Speaking of Jaehee, this girl deserved this break more than anyone else! She’s so used to being busy, that at first she really doesn’t know what to do with herself. What do you mean she can just take it easy and relax for a couple days?! She has to pinch herself to make sure this is real

* She’ll be the one to spend the most time by the pool, simply laying on her towel as she takes in the bright warm sun, or simply lounging in the pool, oftentimes joined by MC as they drink colourful cocktails and talk about tomorrow’s plans

*My girl is just Vibing bc it’s what She Deserves ok lmao

* Jumin definitely tries to pick up and take back with him every single cat he sees down the street (and fair warning for anyone who doesn’t know-there’s a L O T of cats in Greece)

* Will definitely plan to open a big cat shelter in the heart of the city as soon as their vacation is over

* MC convinces them all to try ouzo, an anise-flavored alcoholic drink that’s...way, way stronger than one would initially expect

* It’s hilarious to see Zen and Jumin try and outdrink one another-Jumin simply vibing and sipping his drink as Zen furiously chugs down glass after glass simply to show he can

* Poor V has to carry Jumin back to the hotel, as Seven has to ask Yoosung to help him carry Zen as well

* They all decide to try and learn some greek while they’re there; Jumin and V try and learn helpful phrases like ‘Kalimera’ (Good morning), ‘Ti kaneis?’ (How are you/What are you doing), and so on while Seven, who already speaks greek, teaches Yoosung and Zen the worst curse words he can think of

* Of course he’ll tell Yoosung to say something out loud in the middle of a resturaunt, saying it simply means cheers or something

* Cue Yoosung getting up, his glass of wine in his hand as he cheers ‘MALAKA!’ (= asshole). V’s whole face becomes cherry red as he realises just what Yoosung has yelled out, the rest of the resturaunt patrons turning to look to them and laugh

* ((Seven has the whole thing filmed and will never let Yoosung forget about it lmao))

* All in all...it’s a fun holiday. They all really deserve a break, and honestly, Cheritz, please give these babies the joy they deserve, pls

As I suspected as much from the preview, Nodoka suffered some kind of illness in the past but thanks to receiving treatment and much needed emotional support, was able to recover her health.

Now she can live almost normally like an ordinary girl (cuz becoming a magical girl doesn’t constitute as part of a “normal” life style, I’m afraid ^.^;; )

And as other people have guessed, this season is not only focusing on environmental issues (à la the contaminating powers of the Pathogerms) but health issues as well.

Furthermore, from the way the writers seem to be addressing both topics at the same angle (preserving the Earth to save it/self-prevalence to overcome sickness), you realize they actually go really well hand-in-hand together.

That...is... SO AWESOME! AAAHHH, I’m truly getting excited for this season now because we’ve never covered these themes before and now we’re doing it! We’re finally actually really doing it this year! xD

But let’s go back to Nodoka for a sec because there’s so much about her that’s already so different from her lead Cure predecessors.

Like them, she is bright, positive and super kind.

However, due to her past experience, her energy is a lot more subdued than theirs were. She is even described in her official profile description to be “very calm and goes at her own pace”.

This makes sense cuz though she’s out of the hospital and walking and lively running about (I’m so happy for her! <3), that doesn’t mean she has the physical stamina to do those things to the fullest yet.

She tires out easily if she strains herself and has to take several breaks in between to catch her breath.

Whether she has good reflexes or not will be a question for another time (second ep, maybe) but it’s clear that for the duration of this season, we’ll be watching Nodoka gradually build up her endurance and hopefully, without her illness relapsing.

Ganbare, Nodoka! I’m rooting so hard for you! You can do it, my girl!

That said, to start off the story from the perspective of a person who’s been through such a difficult and life-changing ordeal.....it really makes us, the viewers, see things from a different light as well.

For once, we don’t have to guess if her character will get substance or will be revealed to have substance later on in the show. From the get-go, we already know what has affected her and why she is who she is now.

Nodoka’s been through some tough times and it’s because of that, she has a deep gratitude and appreciation for...simply being alive.

And despite there being a limit to her physical capabilities atm, that doesn’t stop her from helping others.

Or rather, it’s because she received aid in the past, the same support that got her through her suffering, she feels it’s her obligation to do the same for those in trouble.

The mark of a true heroine.

We already saw that when she offered to help that old lady carry her stuff back home.

And in the middle of the chaos, she chose to stop and help an elderly man get to safety.

Then there’s the situation with Latte.

By all reason, Nodoka should’ve gotten to safety herself precisely because she’s frail and has no means of standing up to that monster, much less throwing herself closer into the fray to save one puppy.

But she still went to save her because she can’t leave anyone who’s in pain alone.

That’s impossible for Nodoka who knows exactly how it feels to be sick and helpless. She can’t turn her back on people when there’s a possibility that she can help them.

Again, this is what makes a heroine.

The rest is history from there.

Nodoka displayed not only GUTS but COMPASSION, which qualifies her to become one of The Chosen to save the world.

Huzzah, hurray!

And oh my, would you just look at how she reacts to that?

She’s so thrilled that she’s able to perform all these incredible feats now! She’s able to do what her own body cannot thanks to becoming Precure! She’s just so happy, AAAAAAHHHHH~~ <D

Which makes me suspect there will be a point down the road where she might have to confront the differences of both her civilian form and Cure form. It might become frustrating for her because recovery itself is a long and arduous path and she’ll have to square with the feelings of not moving as fast as she would like to.

Or maybe not. Maybe someone will try to talk her down for having a “weak” body and to not get her hopes up of getting stronger. Or that she’s not “fit” enough to do what Precure are required to do (something I think Rabirin will try to use as a reason not to partner with her in next week’s ep).

And she’ll fire back by saying “Hey, I may not have the strength now but I’ve gotten through worse than that. I’m not going to stop trying, I’m going to get stronger, just you see!”

And we all know she will.

How can you not think so with a face this hopeful and CYUUUUUUTTTTEEEE?!?!?!?! x3333
