John Mostyn has sort of become of my best friends in Comedy. I can’t remember how I met him. I do remember his snowman joke. I have a vivid montage in my head of seeing it in all seasons get funnier and funnier. Maybe because we are both Tall and in each other’s eyeline maybe that’s how we became friends. Seeing the Billy Connelly Doc,JFL 2019 when I didn’t know you’d be there....there you were a familiar grounding presence in a sea of new faces and unique experiences. There is a bluntness, there is a heat to John Mostyn on stage. This is fuelled by a earnest inquisitive vegan who makes pies for his friends and just wants to be a little bit better then the day before.
