Dad!Price fic random post
I really wanna update Unending Devotion soon, but I don't know if I will. About to get fucked by work so as a peace offering, take this random compilation of thoughts about Price, his husband, their owl-hybrid daughter, and the 141 boys that most likely won't make it to the actual story line
Enjoy!
6 Years ago: Devyn meets Nik for the first time
She's a hundred percent hiding behind her dad, absolutely terrified of this strange man that he's invited into the house. She's maybe met one other person at this point in her life, and so little 4 year old Devyn Price is not a fan.
At first.
Price is trying to comfort her and get her to trust Nik, but she's not really listening to him. She's too busy digging her tiny claws into his leg as she stares at Nik. He's not offended or anything, he just wants her to accept him. Nik 100% has told Price several times that Devyn takes priority and is willing to give up everything for her.
He does eventually win her over when he finally lowers to her level with a smile. He calls her "Sova" for the first time, and she's totally blown away by hearing a different language for the first time. He tells her where he's from, about Russia, and how he met her dad. She's totally still hiding behind Price, but she's not staring at him like she'll start crying if he makes a sudden movement. And then he tells her he's a pilot. She does her little confused head tilt, not knowing what that means.
"I fly." He explains, and suddenly she's starstruck. A human that can fly???
"But you have no wings!" She'll sign to him, very concerned. He tells her about helicopters and planes. She has him tell her what it's like to fly so high up (she's still struggling to get more than a few feet off the ground).
Eventually, the day ends with her on his lap, hanging onto his every word as he talks about his job as a pilot; the thrills of flying, how he's seen so many beautiful places and met so many beautiful people ("Like Dad?" "Of course, Sovenok").
He ends up having to leave for the night, and Devyn is quick to ask her dad if he's coming back. Price says yes, of course he's coming back.
"Will he stay next time?" Safe to say, Price proposed very quickly after that. If his little angel wanted Nik to stay, then stay Nik shall.
Ghost gets a gift
Devyn has moments where the boys are reminded she's not very socialized, so to speak. She's spent most of her life hidden away for her safety, and rarely had the opportunity to interact with people her age.
This is one of those moments.
Ghost agreed to babysit Devyn while on medical leave. Partly because Price was going to drive him insane if he stayed on base, partly because he wasn't about to go home without Johnny there, and partly because this was the ultimate sign of trust from his captain.
Besides, Ghost liked the company of the little Price girl. She was sweet and calm compared to the average person Ghost was forced to interact with. She never found the whole mask thing to be weird (one of the reasons he was secretly grateful she is the way she is) and she was relatively independent.
But then came the day she gave him a little gift. He was watching some movie on the couch when she came bounding inside, something hidden between her small hands. She grinned and cooed happily at him as she held out her hands, clearly intending for him to receive what was hidden inside.
Ghost was grateful he had better control of his emotions than others. It's rather startingly for the sweetest, most innocent little girl you've ever known to drop a very pristine mouse skeleton in your hands. He opted for the sake of his sanity, to not question how Devyn came to possess such a thing, and instead gave her a soft smile and a thank you.
"You like bones and stuff so I thought you should have this!" Is what she'll happily sign to him, and he can only nod in appreciation. He'll thank her again, ruffle the feathers on her head as he gets up to put it somewhere safe. He shows her what he does with it so she knows he appreciates the gift; even if it is the most macabre gift he's ever gotten.
Origin of her nickname "Moon Pie"
There are times in Price's life where he's reminded of the owl half of his daughter. She's never been a consistent sleeper; it's either she's up all night and asleep all day similar to an owl, the normal for a human being, or the mix of sleeping only half the day and half the night. There's no rhyme or reason to her sleep patterns, but Price has gotten good at finding ways to help her make sure she gets the right amount of sleep. As well as finding things for her to do during the night when she's awake.
She learned from a relatively young age how to fix food for herself, as it was rather difficult to get either of her dads to help her without grumbling to themselves. It was also difficult for her to communicate what she needed due to the darkness and the fact her fathers don't have her inhuman ability to see well at night. She knew where all her favorite snacks were and how to get them without hurting herself or damaging any of the furniture (She got in a bit of trouble for putting large scratches in a leather seated stool once). All in all, she was well-off on her own during the nights.
But of course, she isn't the only one in that house with sleeping issues. Many times, she's often joined by her dad, and maybe Papa too if he's just come home and hasn't reset his internal clock. They'll spend quiet nights together on the couch or when the weather's nice, out on the back porch. She loves flying at night, but only does so when Dad can watch her. She feels safer that way.
And it's one of these nights that Price couldn't fall back to sleep after a particularly rough nightmare. He decided since his husband wasn't home, that he'd find something else in the house to make him feel better. It's when he remembers that there was still leftover pie (that Laswell had brought when she and her wife visited over the weekend) that he'll be reminded of his daughter's nocturnal habits.
Safe to say, for a man who's only awake because of a nightmare and is still somewhat shaky from it, he's rather startled by the sight in the kitchen.
After all, it is indeed startling to see a small child-like figure, one with large wings and feathers on her head, sharp claws and talons, and reflective eyes hunched over a plate, a distinct red color smeared around her mouth, illuminated only by the moonlight.
Price clearly wasn't the only one who thought a bit of midnight pie would be nice. Like father like daughter. He decides to affectionately call her "Moon Pie" from that night forward, and Nik has yet to learn the real origins of it: they had promised to save him a slice but finished it that night, after all.

night team here
can we request ghost with a daughter that is the mini verison of him like soap thinks shes gonna be sweet and nice and she bullies him worse than her father does
bonus points
price already knew ghosts daughter was a complete savage but soap annoyed him that morning and price decided the consequences of his actions was being brutally roasted
(daughter is gonna be leaning teens just bc i said so. also, thank you so much for the request!! love the night team 🫶🫶)
soap wasn’t supposed to know. this wasn’t something anyone was supposed to know, but simon was decently okay with price knowing. price knew to keep secrets, hell, price had his own.
but simon accidentally let it slip.
‘i’ve gotta get home, early morning,’ he’d told the 141 when they wanted to go out for drinks after a successful mission. they gave him odd looks (one of them was a knowing one, but he’d ignore price being offered to come watch a recital).
soap didn’t let it go, no he didn’t. ‘got the missus waiting back there?’ and simon was exhausted, it was a long mission and all he wanted was to sleep in his own house.
‘kids got a recital,’ he’d muttered and had walked away. what he didn’t expect was to find a huge amount of messages from soap the next morning. most consisted of the same things.
kid??
who’d have a child with you??
what’s the mother look like?
what’s the kids name?
son or daughter?
maybe i wanted to come watch too
i’m technically their uncle
and simon had to leave, collected you from your grandmother and took you to the recital. you were beautiful, the pride and joy of his life. someone he’d never thought he’d ever had, someone he never knew he could love more than anything.
it took months for simon to wear down enough ti even allow any of them to see a picture of you, let alone know your name.
‘beauty, that one is. you sure she came from you?’ simon shoved soap off the chair for that comment. soap continued to rave about being an ‘uncle’ and as much as simon didn’t want it, he had to tell you.
you looked at him weird when he admitted he’d spoken about you to the 141. you knew, generally, what he did but you didn’t get details.
‘ok and?’ you’d asked. ‘what’re they gonna do? it’s not like they’re gonna do something behind your back, not like price has said anything,’ and he worried. maybe he coddled you a little, but you were his girl.
and you’d agreed to meeting them, but told simon you didn’t want to know when. ‘i’ll be thinking about it too much,’ you told him.
simon finally dropped a few names for you, late one night when he’d finally relaxed with some whiskey (he didn’t mention the watered down taste).
‘what kinda name is soap? he drop it or something?’
it took some time before simon had grown any sort of comfortable letting anyone but price be around you. it wasn’t common that you stayed by price when simon was out on a mission, but the occasion happened when it was possibly a fatal one.
it was early morning when you’d sent a text to simon, he hadn’t meant to go to the compound at all that day but had made a lunch. it was a picture of the lunch, still sitting in the fridge with the caption ‘you forget something?’
and he’d groaned, mentioning to price in passing that he forgot his lunch at home. soap and gaz had been there, and a little smile came from soap.
‘just have the lass bring it ‘round, i’m sure she’s dying to meet her uncles,’ price gave a little grimace. ‘what? she’s probably a sweetheart, i cant imagine a girl like her would turn out like ghost,’
you’d relented to bring it around, especially after price messaged you about soap not being able to shut up about meeting you.
he’s pressing me for information. -john
if you bring the food, i’ll give your dad an extra day of leave. -john
please, i’m about to make him run. -john
you always laughed a little when he signed off after each text. it was his own little thing, and you secretly enjoyed having a fatherly figure text you more than three words.
when you got to the compound, you found price waiting outside for you and you waggled the bag of food at him. he let you in, guiding you through the halls to where simon and the others were.
‘try not to forget it, next time,’ you told simon. he gave you a small grunt, one that sounded like his ‘thank you’.
soap walked up to you, giving you a cheeky grin and swinging his arm around your shoulder. ‘how’s it been, lass?’ he asked you and you shook his arm off.
‘you know it’s not the 80’s anymore, right?’ he blinked at you. snorting softly with an eye roll, you sat down in the nearest chair. ‘mullets back in style, you know. might fit you better,’ you commented.
soap was left with his mouth open, gesturing faintly to you then to simon. ‘she can’t be like you,’ he nearly hissed.
‘don’t act so surprised, she said damn near the same thing to me,’ price lamented, thinking back on his first time meeting you.
‘you from the 1800’s? christ, i haven’t seen anyone willingly have that beard,’ you’d told him oh so long ago.
you looked around, leaning towards him. ‘who else am i supposed to be like? i’m pretty sure he’s my father,’ you hissed back.
all soap could do was blink. a little ghost? no, he couldn’t believe it. he saw simon give you a little fist bump, almost saw a few dollars being passed between you two.
simon pulled his mask off to eat and you looked at him closely. ‘you get a haircut?’ you asked, squinting your eyes suspiciously.
‘nope,’ he responded. ‘got ‘em all cut,’ and you snorted a short laugh. soap couldn’t do much but watch the interaction, realization slowly settling in.
‘that’s why you tell those shitty jokes?’ he announced. ‘you’re actually a father telling dad jokes,’
you gave a little smile and he could see the admiration in your eyes. god, you were just like your father but the confidence came off of you so easily.
‘yknow he came to my parents job show and tell once,’ you told everyone and simon stared at you. almost daring you to finish. ‘he didn’t take the mask off and had to leave, he scared too many of the kids,’
you spoke so fondly of him.
‘but he’s a prick, so he just left,’ simon lightly kicked your leg and you made a big show of it. you might be his kid, but you had your own personality in there.
and simon would be dead before anyone took that from you.

warning: father-daughter relationship, mention of death, depression, school shooting, swearing, heavy topics, blood, kidnapping, reader is 19 years old or early 20s, family loss, trauma, ANGSTY!
My birthday passed and I miss my dad and love Price so here you have this angsty piece, grab tissues, you have been warned!
🤍
Price is a father- was actually.
Father of 10 year old Ruby who passed during a school shooting, did it take toll on his life? Yes... yes, it did.
Did he get married and have another kid? absolutely not. Always just a one night stand.
Price never thought he would have a kid, hell even handle one ever again after his was gone, his sweet Ruby– until.
A sarcastic and violent fourteen year old holding a sniper gun and hidden away from the world in a cabin a little away from the base that was attacked appeared.
At first like a pain in the ass but as times went by, she became the rest of his uncompleted soul, like the light in his dark life.
From being a smartass to him, to being a soldier under his wing.
And being a soldier under his wing means getting into trouble sometimes and getting yelled at by him, he didn't want to lose the one girl who like his Ruby.
After almost getting shot, she found herself in Price's office listening to his scolds, staying silent and moving the pen across the paper knowing better than to argue back.
“I know I ain't your damn dad, do I need to tell Ghost to always keep an eye on you because you can't take care of your own self?” He sneered causing her to stop and look up, giving him a frown.
oh…
it was always her saying that she knows he’s not her dad sarcastically just for him to retort back a “do you?” but she never thought it will be the other way around.
she stayed silent before opening her mouth to murmur a small “do you?” now that made him freeze.
His gruff demeanor softened a little but then hardened and he scoffed, running a hand through his hair.
“I…” he started, Price's brow furrowed, and he leaned back in his chair, massaging his temples, "Don't get all sentimental on me, kid," he grumbled, his tone gruff.
“I ain't got time for that shit. Just do your job and stay out of trouble, understood? you need to start acting like a grown ass,”
But despite his harsh words, there was a subtle warmth in his eyes as he looked at her, a silent acknowledgment of the bond that had formed between them.
Y/N did nothing but nod and huff sinking back on her chair, “fine.” he glared at her, “understood?” he repeated again causing he to stand up and walk towards the door.
“understood, old man, but if anything ever happens to me then just to let you know I did it like a grown ass. I’m a woman now, ain’t asking for help ever again,”
Price watched her leave, a mixture of frustration and affection swirling within him. He let out a gruff chuckle, shaking his head as he muttered to himself, “Stubborn little shit,”
he knew she liked him too much to stay angry at him, hell he saved her ass too many times and she saved his soul, she always came back to apologize for being stupid but this time she did come to see him before heading out with a boy she met a year ago.
a fling.
Price met him, but didn’t trust him, hell he hated the thought of the girl he raised meet a guy- well at least he watched her grow and become a woman not like his… never mind, Y/N will always remain the sarcastic fourteen year old to him.
his little shit who called him old man.
his light when he’s lost in the darkness.
Y/N knocked, peeking in, “hey… i’m heading out with Alexei to the cinema, just came to let you know,” she said with a small smile walking towards his desk.
Price looked up from his paperwork, his expression unreadable as he met her gaze, “Going out, huh?” he grunted, trying to mask the twinge of unease in his chest.
Y/N nodded, her smile faltering slightly under his scrutinizing gaze, “uh huh, just thought I'd let you know,” she replied, her tone casual.
Price's jaw tightened as he studied her, a thousand thoughts racing through his mind, "Be careful," he finally muttered, his voice gruffer than usual.
Y/N's smile widened, genuine gratitude shining in her eyes, the childish twinkle he bought back after horrible shit with her abusive asshole of a family, “I will, cap. Promise.” everyone knew the; don’t promise something you can’t keep, rule.
As she turned to leave, Price couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled in the pit of his stomach. “and kiddo?” he called out, his voice softer now.
She glanced back at him, a question in her eyes.
“Come back in one piece, back to me, alright?” he said, the vulnerability in his voice betraying his tough exterior.
Y/N's smile softened, a flicker of sorrow crossing her features, “always do, old man,” she replied with the brightest grin, she then stopped by the door.
“hey John… look, i’m sorry for being a bitch with you earlier when you’re just trying to look out for me, and you know that I love you right?”
Price's heart skipped a beat at her words, a lump forming in his throat as he struggled to find the right response. "I know, kiddo," he managed to choke out, his voice thick with emotion. "And... I'm sorry too. Just... be safe out there, okay?"
Y/N nodded, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "I will, John. I promise." never break that rule kids.
With one last glance, she disappeared out the door, leaving Price alone with his thoughts and a gnawing sense of dread that refused to leave him.
But despite his fears, he couldn't shake the feeling of love and pride that swelled within him for the young woman who had become like family to him.
“give me a call once you’re there!” he called back loud enough for her to hear and make her chuckle.
–•–•–🤍–•–•–
first call was right before the movie, Alexei said hello, but now it has been 3 hours with no response from her.
no movie is 3 hours… especially not Romeo and Juliet.. Price searched up the timing of the movie of course, his paranoia ate him alive, but then… it went to 48 hours of no news from her.
he looked everywhere for her, yelling for the cops to search for her and his crew, driving around and hacking her phone just to find it in a car abandoned in an alleyway.
not a sound, not a sight of her, she just… vanished– no way was his Y/N running away, she was happy with him, Price can feel himself losing his sanity minute by minute, cops looked everywhere around, his crew asked, searched, he looked even in the woods under the rain.
until 71 hours later, 2 days and 23 hours later… he got a call from a random number, Price stopped his crews and put his phone on speaker, “hello? kiddo? is that you?” he started but was cut off by ragged breaths, like someone was shot in the lungs or was badly hurt.
“dad?” she started between heavy yet rapid breaths, “Y/N?” Price's heart raced as he listened to her ragged breaths. “Where are you? Are you okay?”
for the first time she called him dad and it wasn’t in a sweet way, it was filled with fear like her life depended on it.
Price's voice shook with worry as he waited for her response, his crew hanging onto every word, “I’m in trouble, Dad,” Y/N gasped, the sound of fear evident in her voice. "I don't know where I am... They took me... I'm scared."
static can be heard in the background like shuffling causing him to wince and push the phone away from his ear.
Price's mind raced, his hands trembling as he clutched the phone. “Y/N, stay calm, baby girl, We'll find you. Tell me, can you see anything around you? Any landmarks?”
Y/N's voice was strained, “I-I don't know... look, Alexei is with the Russian gang, he’s a spy, he has always been- I shouldn’t trust him, hack this phone, and his real name is Dimitri Smirnov, was in jail for 3 years because of “you” apparently, I managed to knock him out but please for the love of god…” she took a deep breath, oh so shaky, it’s like her soul was slipping away by the second, after each inhale.
As her voice trembled through the phone, each word seemed to carry the weight of her suffering.
Her breaths were ragged, shallow gasps punctuated by the sound of her struggling lungs. Pain dripped from her voice like blood from an open wound, seeping into the airwaves with every strained syllable.
well she was bleeding from the side, hell she was bleeding all over in this random ass cabin freezing to death and holding her side for dear’s life at the corner with his phone in hand as Alexei laid unconscious– or should she say Dimitri, hell she couldn’t even move to kill him, the chains did hurt like a bitch.
“I want to go home… cause i’m fucking bleeding out and I don’t know if I’m living, please Price, please… just..”
yeah she’s dying, definitely dying…
her essence fading like a flickering flame in a gust of wind, voice trailing off in the distance same way her essence did…
The static in the background mingled with her gasps, a cacophony of agony and desperation that echoed in Price's ears like a haunting melody.
he won’t forget this- ever, whoever in the heavens listening to him and watching over him seemed to like the sight of his suffering, hell he knows he won’t ever forget those ragged breaths of hers.
it will haunt him for the rest of his life.
“come take me home,” her voice cracked with anguish, the weight of her words bearing down on Price like a heavy burden. It was a slow, agonizing descent into darkness, her lifeblood draining away with each passing moment, leaving behind only the hollow echo of her pain.
with that the line cut off, Price barked orders, tracking down her phone, and as soon as Gaz found the location they were off.
a haunting location, a house in the middle of the woods, burning from the inside.
Price froze, but then in a second, he raced towards the back of the house where the fire still hadn't reached the spot, kicking the door with all his force with his men behind he could feel his heart hammering as his eyes moved around in desperate search of her.
as soon as the door opened a sharp whiff of smoke hit his face, causing his eyes to squint and become watery, he coughed a little but that didn't stop him from moving in, calling out her name.
but then Ghost called him from one of the ends of the hallways, "hey cap! You might wanna see this!" he said through his mask causing Price to walk towards the man who pointed at the chains on the ground leading from the kitchen all the way through the fire and to the attic room.
Price's heart sank as he followed the trail of chains, his mind racing with thoughts of what could have happened to her. The flames roared behind him, threatening to engulf the entire house, but he pushed forward, determined to find her.
fine running through fire was a stupid idea but he wasn't burned or caught by the fire surprisingly, instead, he walked down the stairs but Ghost was quick to catch up stopping him from doing anything crazy when the door to the attic room opened.
"get out of my way, lieutenant," an order.
"let me check first," was all Ghost said before the masked soldier reached the entrance to the attic room, it wasn't locked... Simon took a deep breath, bracing himself for what he might discover inside, preparing for the worst.
gun in hand, the other reaching to push the door so slowly so he could sneak in just in case the "killer" might be by the door ready with a gun or a knife or even a brick.
however, the scene before him sent pure fear through his veins, horror gripping him alive, the room was dimly lit by the flickering flames, casting eerie shadows on the walls but the air was heavy with smoke and the acrid smell of burning wood.
and Simon was never one to be easily shaken.
he even forgot to point the gun around just in case of an attack, his eyes landing on the body in the center, empty eyes staring right back at him, barely blinking.
Ghost wanted to throw up, for the first time ever after millions of missions, he wanted to throw up at the sight, not at her... but the state she was in.
On the ground, beaten so badly, covered in blood from head to toe that he couldn't even recognize her features until his eyes landed on the earrings, twinkling, but with drops of blood still.
his breath hitched the more he took her in, the once nice shirt she wore ripped at the sleeves and top, barely warming her up, a hand chained while the other was on her side, ankles on the other hand both were chained keeping her from moving.
a bloody golf bat by her head, the hair she straightened, now curled and damp, spreading around and dirty thanks to the thick pool of blood— a bloody golf bat by her fucking head- the fucker had beat her to death until she was paralyzed with a fucking bat, not only that, but she was either shot or stabbed to the side.
her breathing- oh her breathing was- ragged, her cheek pressed to the ground and eyes staring right at his slowly losing the sparkle of life, slowly, god he couldn't imagine the excruciating pain she was in if her eyes were still open.
tears racing down the side of her face, pushing some of the drops of blood away.
Ghost's heart clenched with a mixture of rage, sorrow, and helplessness, and finally, he knelt down beside her, his hands trembling as he reached out to touch her cheek, feeling the warmth of her fading life, blood coating his gloved fingers as soon as he reached for her.
The weight of the situation bore down on him, and he struggled to breathe, his body shielded her face from Price who would probably drive himself to madness if he saw her.
his daughter-
"Stay with me," Ghost whispered, his voice choked with emotion, "We're here now. We'll get you the help you need. Just hold on. Price is here- John's here..."
she tried to open her mouth and whisper something but only her fingers twitched and her lips parted, words turned into nothing but rough breaths.
"Lieutenant?" oh shit- oh no what should he do, Price was calling out for him, what should he fucking do? no response. he just.. stood and took a step back.
Price frowned, eyes moving to his gloved hand, a drop of blood, thick and so red landed on the wood, but when Simon didn't respond to his call only stared at the body.
He moved to the side, but then his breath caught in his throat, eyes widening in disbelief and horror they almost popped out. His mind struggled to make sense of the unimaginable truth before him.
It was his little shit lying there, battered and broken, her fragile form barely recognizable beneath the blood and bruises. The world around him seemed to blur as he fought to comprehend the magnitude of the atrocity committed against his precious girl.
Every fiber of his being screamed out in agony, and he felt as if his heart had been ripped from his chest.
and he moved, running to her side, collapsing on the wood, and reaching for her, taking his sweet Y/N in his arms, he held her against his chest and he swore he could see the way her eyes lit up as soon as she was in his arms.
Price could barely recognize her features, so he reached a shaky hand to brush her hair away from her face and with his sleeve, wiped the blood away carefully without hurting her even if it was painful even holding her, she didn't wince, but just stared, relaxing in his arms, breaths still fast but they slowed down as her fear evaporated like it was never there.
and she opened her mouth, mumbling the tiniest, "Hi old man..." Price almost sobbed at that, tears threatening to spill, yes he was emotional, for fuck's sake, "Hey kiddo... you're fine, just, try to talk to me we'll get you help," he whispered holding her, supporting her head like she was a baby instead of an eighteen-year-old woman.
He reached to push the strands of curls that clung to her bloody face, revealing a glimpse of her delicate smile. It was a bittersweet sight, pain, and fatherly love together.
With a trembling voice, Y/N managed to utter a few more words, her words barely audible, but Price leaned in closer, desperate to catch every syllable.
"come on, captain, scold me, it's better than this look," she whispered between ragged breaths, her voice weakened by the ordeal she had endured, tears streamed down Price's face as he listened to her brave words.
He couldn't fathom the depth of her courage and resilience in the face of such brutality. His grip tightened around her gently, as if trying to transfer his strength to her fragile form.
"I'm not scolding you at all, kiddo, never again," he said, he promised– as if that would make her stand and heal.
it won’t. it certainly won’t.
her vision grew blurry, the body heat slowly vanishing and colder then ice, black spots surrounding her vision, she didn’t know what to say.
"you’re my home, old man…" she whispered feeling her eyes flutter on their own, she wasn’t controlling her body, Price noticed and tried to shake awake talking about how she shouldn’t leave him or whatever, she couldn’t hear a single thing as peace slowly washed over her.
with weak knees she pushed herself using her tiptoed closer so her face in buried in his arm and his scent greets her into a warm embrace.
"no no no no- kid. stay awake," she would’ve laughed, joking about how he gives her orders even when she is on the verge of death.
"you’re my kid… you’re my home," he whispered both to her and to himself, so he doesn’t lose his sanity, to convince himself, he shifted so he will hold her in his arms into the tightest hug while her body is growing limp.
her breathing were ragged and as soon as he shifted and held her head against his shoulder, holding her head, it slowed down… and then stopped.
just stopped.
Price was frozen, heart shattering into so many little pieces, "Y/N? kiddo?" he asked shaking her a bit but as he glanced to the side, her eyes emptily staring up, lifeless, twinkle no longer there, no breathing escaping her mouth or nose, lips parted, head falling back, he knew.
his Y/N was gone, his sweet baby girl, in his arms, her bloody hand holding on his sleeve like it always did loosening and falling limp on her side.
Yet another soldier, yet another daughter vanishing from his arms and his life like a dying light, like a dying star, like dust in the wind.
well that’s life… ups and downs. never make promises you can’t keep kids.
Never

okay but Price and Adopted!Daughter???
Adopted her after her family died. He was her father’s closest friend, she knew him etc. She was ten, turned 16 when he was promoted to Captain.
After she set her mind on joining the SAS because her dad is so cool, he took her to mil-sim over a weekend because ‘if you’re gonna join i might as well make sure you’re prepared.’
Queue the 5AM runs before school at 8. The workout program packet he compiled for her to make sure she would be safe out there.
Her nanny/the house caretaker is Ex-SF, approved by Laswell, has superb training in home defense, just generally a badass. Really nice woman too, makes amazing eggnog and cookies.
She's in TF141 as a Sergeant. The team jokingly calls her and Price the Dynamic Duo because they move so seamlessly together.
Falls asleep on the hard couch in his office while waiting for him to go home
a private once tried to harass her. Fully aware she was a Sergeant in the SAS, even knowing she was in TF141, he still tried to put the moves on her. Except Price was taking a cigar break outside. You can imagine how pissed Papa Bear Price was. That private cleaned the men's toilets with a toothbrush for three weeks before Price let him stop.

Mini Ghost
Simon Riley—also known as “Ghost”—was a battle-seasoned soldier, who had survived things other people see in their nightmares. So what would happen if he discovered that he had a daughter? Suddenly, he was bound to face the greatest mission of his life - fatherhood.

Chapter 4 - Captain Carnell
Simon walked into the rec room. All eyes turned on him, the violent cackling died down. His lips twitched behind his balaclava, feeling the tension rise as his eyes locked with Alice’s. The room fell silent as the two of them stared each other down, neither willing to back down from a challenge.
“What’s going on here?” Simon asked with a raise of his eyebrow. He closed the door behind him with a gentle thud.
“Captain Alice has officially taken o’er the base. She’s oor new leader now,” Johnny chuckled, arms crossed over his chest with an exaggerated nod of approval.
“Is she now?” Simon grinned under his mask, his eyes twinkled with a proud glint. He raised a brow at John, who leaned back against the couch.
“What can I say?” he replied with a shrug. “She won the coup fair and square.”
“Heard that?” Alice said smugly. She raised her head, puffing out her chest and perking her nose in a prideful stance. “Means I’m your boss from now on!”
“Really now?” Simon said teasingly. He tilted his head in amusement. “What’s your first command then?”
Alice stared at the bulky man dumbfounded. She had yet to consider what she wanted to do with that sovereignty. A small voice in the back of her head whispered that this was just a playful game, the kid messing around and the soldiers humoring her like they always did. However, the bigger part of her brain wanted to relish this addicting feeling of power and authority. She felt invincible and she loved it.
“Hmmm,” Alice hummed, deep in thought. Soon, she conjured up her first order and her lips stretched in a giddy grin. “I’ve decided!”
“Captain Alice is about to give her first command,” Kyle announced, leaning forward with a grin, his elbows resting on his knees.
“Awright, let’s hear it, then” Johhny encouraged with a smile.
“Okay, my first command is…” Alice paused for dramatic effect. She locked her fingers behind her back as her eyes went around the room, noticing the intense stares the soldiers gave her. “You will help me decorate the base!”
“The… base?” Kyle repeated the order, trying to comprehend it as though she had said something in an alien language.
“You want to decorate the entire base?” John questioned her with a raised eyebrow.
“It’s grey and boring,” Alice remarked in an accusatory tone. “I don’t understand how you live here at such a grey and boring base.”
“Ye know, bear cub, ah couldnae agree mor,” Johnny chimed in with a nod. “These grey walls are pure depressin’, aren’t they?”
“Exactly!” Alice bobbed her head, nodding so vigorously one might think her head would fly off. She put her arms on her waist as though a mother scolding her children. “I declare no more boring gray walls and dusty halls. We’ll add lights, drawings, and maybe even flowers!”
“Flowers in a base? That’ll truly intimidate the enemy,” Simon teased lightly, earning a glare from Alice.
“Hey, don’t question my orders!” Alice said with a huff, stomping one foot for emphasis. “Now get ready, soldiers, because it’s time to make this place look amazing.”
Giggles erupted in the room as they all watched the little girl play the role of the military captain. Alice darted toward John with boundless energy. She placed her palms on his knee and used it as leverage as she bounced up and down in excitement.
“You said my things are finally here?” She questioned, eyes wide and expecting.
“Yeah, Ghost and I loaded them in your room,” John confirmed, his tone casual but amused by her enthusiasm.
“Yay!” Alice squealed as she rushed toward the door. She pushed it open with an exaggerated huff and slipped out of the room. Her giggles echoed through the hallway. “It’s drawing time!”
“Do you think she’ll make us draw, too?” Kyle asked no one with a chuckle.
“She absolutely will,” Johnny replied with certainty, his arms crossed as if he’d already accepted the inevitable. His calculating brain had already started to pick up on Alice’s personality patterns.
“Well, in that case,” John declared as he stood up abruptly from the couch, reaching the exit in a few big strides. However, before he vanished, he turned to his team and flashed them a cheeky smile. “I’m out.”
“Did our captain just ditch us at the mercy of a 5-year-old?” Johnny said indignantly, brows joining together at the clever move.
“Junior captain,” Kyle corrected. He pressed his fist to his lips, trying to stifle the giggle bubbling in his chest. Even Simon’s form shook lightly with laughter.
Johnny’s ire crumbled under the growing laughter in the room, and he finally burst out in a loud, boisterous cackle.
“Hells, we’re never lettin’ him live that doon!” Johnny exclaimed, his scottish accent thick with his delight.
Alice’s cheerful voice charged through like thunder. Her small body barged through the door like a mini rocket fueled by her endless enthusiasm. Her hands were full of paper, notebooks, colored pencils, crayons, watercolor paints, and all that was a necessity in a painter’s kit. She dumped everything on the coffee table, unceremoniously sweeping off the newspapers and magazines. Then, methodically, she sorted through her goods and, just like Johnny had predicted, assigned every soldier with the paper and the means of drawing.
“Where’s John?” Alice frowned upon finishing. Her analyzing gaze glided through the room, noticing it lacked one person.
“He bailed,” Kyle said with a dramatic sigh in hopes of seeing Alice reprimand his boss for it.
Just like he anticipated, Alice glared at the door where John was last seen. If a look could kill, the door wouldn’t stand a chance.
“Fine, I’ll find him later,” Alice eventually huffed with a pout. However, her expression changed in the next second as she pointed at the ceiling, striking a hero pose. “Alright, soldiers, your next mission is to draw me cute animals holding a gun!”
“Kind o’ contradictory, don’t ye think?” Johnny said with a snort. He grabbed the pink crayon and a piece of paper, ready to depict his masterpiece.
“It is a military base,” Alice rolled her eyes at the remark.
“Can’t argue with that,” Kyle chuckled.
“You like guns?” Simon asked carefully. He peered at the girl as she grazed a purple crayon against the paper.
“Yes!” Alice exclaimed, but her smile faltered when she realized who was the owner of the voice. She puffed her cheeks in retaliation and not-so-hidden fury for talking to her. “I like M1911…”
Alice’s voice came off as surprisingly small and timid. The defiance in her expression softened, replacing her previously bold demeanor with shyness. Her cheeks turned pink, and the words left a nasty trail as though revealing such a treasured secret would kill her on the spot. The memories of other kids picking and poking her while laughing in her face for liking something so ‘ungirly’ resurfaced in her mind, and it made her coil herself in a protective ball.
“Look, Alice is playing as a boy again!”
They would often say. Even dismissive of her mother’s military background. They never understood why she loved the stories of weaponry her mom used to tell. Her hobby had been a subject of ridicule, and in their cruelty, they had tarnished a love she thought was hers alone to keep safe.
The crayon that glided smoothly against the surface came to a halt. The atmosphere soured, which did not go unnoticed by the others.
“Solid choice,” Simon commented. He continued to mindlessly scribble with a green marker despite the frown and clear disdain towards the activity displayed on his face.
Alice’s head shot up to look at the man. Her eyes were wide, full of stunned wonder. His words of affirmation made her feel seen and appreciated for the first time since the discovery of this odd hobby of hers. They weren’t dismissive nor were they the condescending kind she’d come to expect. She smiled. And not just one of those mocking smiles, it was genuine, the one that made Simon stare at her with something akin to affection.
“Because it’s a recoil-operated and semi-automatic pistol with customizing options…” She mumbled, testing the waters. Her fingers tangled with each other trying to calm the nerves that threatened to rise.
“You know your way around guns?” Kyle asked, eyebrows raised in astonishment.
“I like shooter games a lot, and my mom always taught me the basic stuff and I just… kept learning…” Alice admitted with a bashful smile. The weight of the secret slowly lifted from her shoulders, and the bullying voices gradually quieted down.
The soldiers smiled, too. For a brief moment, their minds wandered to the same place—a memory carved into their hearts. They could see her vividly as if she were right in front of them—young recruit Emily, full of fire and wonder. The way her smooth voice flowed like water as she explained the intricacies of firearms and her eyes sparkling with an uncontainable passion brought even the strongest among them to their knees. Her happy grin was contagious, lighting up the room every time the gun talk was started.
And now, her legacy was engraved into a 5-year-old girl, and they couldn’t help the bittersweet pang that ignited unknown feelings—perhaps grief or nostalgia—inside of them. Alice’s vibrant excitement, her small but determined voice rattling off pistol features as though it were second nature, was like seeing Emily reborn in some strange, inexplicable way.
“Ye sound like Canary, lil one,” Johnny commented, a longing look on his face.
“Canary?” Alice tilted her head in confusion. The image of a tiny yellow bird perched on a branch popped into her mind, only adding to her puzzlement.
“Did your mom never tell you?” Kyle chimed in. The corners of his lips curled upwards upon the memory. “It was her call sign.”
“Canary was... my mom?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Aye,” Johnny nodded, his usual playfulness replaced with quiet reverence. “She had a voice that could settle storms. Always knew just whit tae say tae keep us together when things got tough.”
“I only ever heard Ghost, Soap, Gaz, and Captain…” Alice mumbled. Her eyes welled up with tears as she remembered her mother sitting on the pillow by her bed and sharing military stories.
“Captain was rough and strict, but in any situation he would barge in head-on, taking the hit first before anyone else. For that, I respected him like no one else.”
“Soap had his charm. He liked to crack dumb jokes any chance he got. They were so bad I couldn’t help but smile.”
“In my opinion, Gaz was the most caring and thoughtful among us. There was a time when I landed too harshly during a drill and twisted my ankle, and Gaz carried me to the infirmary.”
“Ghost… He was cold… Guarded… Whenever we trained together, he would go extra tough on me just because he could. As my revenge though, I had him fall for me. I just wish you could meet him… I’m sure he would try to be the best dad he ever could for you, my honey bee…”
Emily’s voice resonated in her head as she recalled the stories. Her tiny fists clenched, willing but failing to quiet sob. Tears rolled down her plump cheeks and landed on the paper, smudging the carefully drawn lines.
“She said…” Alice sniffled. Her heart ached at the memories. “She said she loved them… That they were the team she dreamed of…”
For a moment, silence hung heavy in the room. Everyone was too engrossed in nostalgia for their late comrade and mother. This was the moment of vulnerability that no one dared to break.
“Well, if ye ask me, lass,” he said, attempting to lighten the mood, “if ye’re the offspring o’ Canary, then we best get tae following orders.”
“There are better synonyms for a child than offspring, Johnny,” Kyle raised an eyebrow at Soap, yet a chuckle broke free from his chest nonetheless.
“You’d better follow my orders,” Alice declared, her voice still wavering, a tiny smile beaming through her tears. “Because I am the captain now.”
This time, the laughter that erupted wasn’t bittersweet—it was genuine and light, echoing down the halls, chasing away the lingering shadows of the past.
“Awright, le’s stop sulkin’. We’ve got some decoratin’ to do, aye,” Johnny exclaimed and grabbed the crayon where he dropped it on the table.
“You better take it seriously, Johnny!” Alice scolded him with a lighthearted giggle. She wiped the tears with her sleeve, face red and puffy.
“Here,” Simon appeared by her side, casually offering a glass of water.
Alice’s eyes darted from the drink to his face. She considered smacking the liquid from his hand, but something in her head decided against it. Kyle and Johnny watched the scene play out, expecting the disaster to strike any moment, but much to their surprise, Alice didn’t lash out. Small smiles made their way onto their faces when Alice carefully accepted the glass of water and brought it to her lips.
“I still don’t like you,” Alice mumbled, taking a sip.
“I know,” Simon responded without a tinge of mockery in his voice before he switched his attention back to the drawing.
Kyle stifled a chuckle while Johnny’s lips twitched into an amused smirk. The two exchanged glances, silently marveling at how Simon managed to pull this off without igniting a tantrum. Not like they complained.
*~*~*
“Follow me, kid,” Price said the moment the lunch was over.
Despite the confusion, the rest of the squad obediently followed closely behind, however, the devilish smirk on their captain’s face made their skin crawl. Price led Alice in an uncharted direction, though he made sure to slow down his pace.
“Since you’re the captain now, you will take on the leading duties,” John mused. He kept his voice stern and steady, concealing unspoken amusement. “Your first duty is to train the recruits.”
“What?” Alice’s eyes widened. Her heart skipped a beat, but she didn’t know whether it was excitement or anxiety. “How do you even train them?”
“Don’t you have a training schedule written?” John tilted his head, a frown making its way onto his face. His voice was laced with faux accusation and surprise. “You can’t be a good captain if you slack off like that.”
“I…” Alice’s face burned red from embarrassment. She puffed her cheeks, mentally searching for an excuse. “I was busy with other things.”
“I saw. Nice work,” John snorted. The confusion that was soon replaced by hearty laughter upon seeing the works of art produced under Alice’s control was still fresh in his mind.
Just before lunch, the man exited his office, stretching his sore muscles. He barely made it past the doorway before something on the wall directly across from him snagged his attention. It was a sheet of paper, hastily taped up with mismatched strips of what looked like duct tape. The drawing depicted a pink bunny hopping through the field. There were stick-figure flowers and cartoonish trees, but the most prominent feature was a comically large machine gun hung on the bunny’s side while the bunny had an eerily happy grin on his face. Above its floppy ears, written in clumsy, looping handwriting, were the words “Mission Hoppyfield!”
“But as the new captain, you have to make time for other tasks,” John smiled slyly.
Soon, his steps came to a halt when they reached an area that was the size of a football field. It was mostly empty except for a group of recruits measured at about 15 young men. They gazed around, looking awkward like they weren’t quite sure what to do with themselves.
“Alright, kid. You're in charge now. Show these boys how it’s done.” Price clapped his hands together, a shrewd smirk displayed on his face.
Alice eyed the group of recruits staring at her with a bewildered look in their eyes. The pompous undertone in John’s voice made her take the twisting bile of anxiety in her throat and shove it deep into the farthest corner of her consciousness. She huffed as she marched to the front, her bear onesie wrangled with her every exaggerated move.
The new soldiers looked at each other, perplexed. The little girl being their commanding leader wasn’t something anyone expected.
“Alright, recruits!” she bellowed, her tiny chest puffing with confidence. “My name is Captain Alice. If you want to be the best, you follow my lead. No shortcuts, no slackers!”
Her loud and clear voice surprised not only the recruits but the members of the Task Force, too. John watched the scene unfold with a cigarette between his fingers. He partially anticipated Alice to quit when faced with a real challenge, but such a turn of events left him pleased and proud.
“We’re gonna start with the basics—shooting, stealth, and making sure we’re faster than a zombie horde on a bad day. Got it?” Alice pointed her tiny finger at each soldier, anticipating the immediate submission from all of them.
Some soldiers gazed from Alice to Price feeling as though they were being pranked. Others could barely hide their laughter and awed looks, stunned by the authority she carried.
Behind her, the squad shared a smile, watching as their new ‘captain’ took charge in ways none of them could have imagined. John leaned back against the metal lattice fence with a satisfied look on his face.
“So, you’re not too worried about a kid commanding the squad?” Kyle asked softly, leaning toward John.
“Is it because she stole the ‘captain’ status from ye?” Johnny commented.
“I’m curious to see how far she’ll take it,” John shrugged, giving a dry chuckle.
“I said, do you understand?” Alice glared at them.
“Y…yes, ma’am!” The soldiers saluted Alice and she beamed, feeling proud and giddy.
“Good. Now, one hundred laps around the field!” Alice commanded a little too enthusiastically as she bounced on her heels.
“What?!” The soldiers exclaimed all in unison. Their eyes grew wide upon hearing the impossible request.
Even the seasoned soldiers John, Kyle, Johnny, and Simon raised their eyebrows before bursting with laughter. The absurdity of her first command for the newbies made them topple while holding their stomachs.
“Did she just...?” Kyle leaned forward, a chuckle building in his chest.
“She did,” Simon replied, his voice laced with amusement. “This’ll be interesting.”
Their giggles were successfully ignored as Alice kept drilling the recruits.
“What are you waiting for? MOVE! I want you to hit one hundred laps in less time than the last. No excuses!” Her tiny finger pointed forward, making each soldier twitch nervously and then spring into action.
The entire field hummed with the sound of boots pounding against the polyurethane surface.
“Wow, she’s actually got them moving,” John blew out a puff of smoke, grinning ear to ear. “She’s doing much better than I thought.”
“You think they can do it?” Johnny snorted, still unable to control his laughter.
“Hell no,” John drawled, keeping his eyes on the recruits as they fought against the absurdity of Alice’s order. But the grin playing on his lips was wide.
Alice felt natural as she barked at the recruits any time any of them stayed behind. However, the longer the training dragged out, the smaller her presence appeared. Her resolve died down, her voice grew quieter, and the fire in her eyes slowly replaced fatigue and distress.
By the time the training finished, Alice was wiped out. She sat and sulked on the curb, hugging her knees tightly to her chest. Her head drooped, eyes glazed with the weight of everything that had happened. Despite the entertaining side of being a captain, it was finally taking a toll on her. She was still a child, and even the joy of commanding recruits wasn’t immune to the overwhelming burden of responsibility. She let out a small, irritated sigh. The fun part of being in charge was now overshadowed by the realization of just how much more complicated it was than she thought. The number of people ‘under her care’ seemed larger with every passing hour.
Even at dinner, Alice didn’t argue with Kyle who sneakily added beans to her plate. The look on her face was distant and dazed. It was clear that she was in dire need of sleep.
She poked at her food absentmindedly. Her brow furrowed in mild annoyance, but her usual sparkle wasn’t there. She had no fight left.
No one spoke, but each person around Alice shared the same understanding in their gaze.
Afterward, Price dismissed his squad with an authoritative jerk of his head, quickly quieting down any complaint that was about to fly in his direction. He led Alice to his office as soon as they stepped onto the barrack’s ground.
Alice trailed behind like a zombie from her favorite game, just not as vicious. Her small feet dragged slightly with each step, and her head hung low, strands of her hair falling into her tired eyes. John looked at her and his gaze softened, though he masked it with his usual impassive demeanor. He did feel bad for putting her through such a long day, but discipline and lessons, however tough, had to be taught. Otherwise, should they bend to her every whim, no good will come out of her.
The man opened the door to his office and sat Alice on his chair. He pulled a hefty binder off his cluttered desk and dropped it onto the table before her with a dull thud.
“Now you have to sort these papers,” John said, arms crossed over his chest.
Alice shot her head up, eyes wide as she peered at him. A panicked expression flashed across her face. She eyed the paper in a black binder and swallowed the lump in her throat. The sheer volume of papers spilling out of its edges made her stomach churn. She began fiddling with her fingers nervously.
“I… Can I do it tomorrow?” Alice asked, her voice small and timid.
“Tomorrow’s gonna be different tasks,” John sighed, not exactly lying. “It has to be done today.”
Alice slumped in the chair, feeling the events of the day overwhelm her. A whimper tore from her throat that morphed into a sob when the sound of fading footsteps reached her ears. She hastily slid off the chair and rushed to catch up to John, latching onto his thigh.
“Wait!” She cried out, tears welling up in her eyes. “I… I don’t wanna be a captain anymore… I wanna sleep…”
John smiled softly at the girl. He pried her away from his leg and crouched down to her level. His calloused palm softly wiped away her tears of exhaustion.
“Listen, Alice,” John started, voice soft, almost fatherly. His other hand landed on her head, patting it gently between the bear ears etched onto the hood. “You’re a strong and courageous girl. A little impudent too. But you have to learn when to be strong and courageous because it might get you into things that will be too much for you to handle. You hear me?”
“Mhm…” Alice hummed in response, her blue eyes peering at the captain through wet eyelashes.
“Sometimes, being strong isn’t just about charging forward,” John continued. “It’s about knowing when to step back—when to say you’ve had enough. Do you understand?”
“Yes sir…” Alice mumbled through sniffles.
“From now on, be more mindful of how you act around others,” John added before he smirked. “And don’t encroach on my title from now on. Captain is my job, yeah?”
“I promise,” Alice nodded her head in affirmation.
“Good girl,” Price said, patting her head one last time before rising to his full height. “Now, off you go. Bedtime.”
Alice dropped the final nod and headed toward the door. Huffing, she pushed the door open, the weariness pulling at her muscles like an anchor. And before she could slip through the exit, John called out for her again.
“You did great today, kid,” John praised her genuinely. His face was adorned with a warm smile with no hint of teasing or mockery.
Alice’s face lit up ever so slightly. A spark of pride ignited in her chest as she turned back to him, her face lighting up with a tired yet elated smile. She felt proud, having her actions acknowledged. Standing at the doorway, she released the door handle and saluted the captain with a dopey smile.
It was the last thing he saw before the door closed shut, leaving him alone in the room with a faint, lingering smile on his face.

Simon "Ghost" Riley
Simon’s phone buzzes in his pocket. He ignores it. And the phones goes off again.
While Price, Gaz, and Soap all continue their conversation, Simon takes his phone out of his pocket and walks a few paces away.
He glances at the screen and sees his youngest daughter’s name on the screen. It’s their emergency line. Simon answers immediately and brings the phone up to his ear.
“Everything good, baby girl?”
“Can you help me with my math homework?”
Simon sighs. “So there isn’t an emergency?”
“Yes. The emergency is my math homework,” she replies plainly.
“Fucking hell,” he mutters.
John "Soap" MacTavish
Johnny is working late. Really fucking late. He promised Price he’d look at the reports before they’re sent off in the morning. Details are important. Things can’t be overlooked.
His phone buzzes on the desk.
“Hello?” he answers without looking at the name.
“Daddy?”
Johnny immediately straightens, the reports forgotten. It’s his eldest daughter.
“What’s wrong?” he asks.
She pauses. “Can you come pick me up?”
Johnny is already out of his chair and grabbing his coat before his daughter finishes the sentence.
“Where are you?”
“I’m sorry,” she murmurs.
“Don’t worry about it, love. Tell me where you are.”
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
“Daddy?”
“What is it, baby girl?”
Kyle straightens at the slight tremor in his daughter’s tone. She rarely—if ever—calls him at work. And she knows it’s for emergency purposes only.
“Everything all right?” he asks after a beat.
She sighs. “Could—I—”
“What’s wrong?” he prompts, suddenly nervous.
“Are you leaving work soon?”
Kyle checks his watch. “In about an hour. What do you need?” His daughter mumbles something on the other end. “What’s that, love?”
“Can you grab tampons?” she asks in a rush.
Kyle holds back a laugh. Everything is fine.
“Of course, baby girl.”
John Price
John pinches the bridge of his nose. The file folder before him is just a blur of color.
His phone buzzes in his pocket. John fishes it out. Home, it says.
Frowning, he answers. “Hello?”
“Daddy?”
It’s his youngest, a boy of only six. “Why are you whispering?”
“I don’t want mum to hear me.”
“Why?”
“I want to surprise her.”
“That’s nice of you.”
“Can you get her a gift?”
“Of course, bud. I’ll grab something on the way home.”
“Thank you!” he shrieks, hanging up abruptly.
John snorts and stares down at the blank screen, shaking his head.

The Next of Kin
Summary: Simon needed to update his contact information, as dodgy as he was for giving everyone even a glimpse of his private life, he did so. Who would have ever thought that it would become handy after an injury left him high on painkillers and needy for his girls back home. Character: Simon "Ghost" Riley x Wife!Reader. OC Daughter (Cassandra "Cassie" Riley). John Price. Word Count: 1,615 Chapter Warnings: Mentions of Injuries. Drug Consumption. Slight Angst. Mostly fluff.
Masterlist || Request are Open
It was the annual checkup in the base, something that Simon had dreaded the most knowing what it entails. Not only was his current and past injuries being monitored but he was all too certain about the wacky doctor would also make an appearance to check on his mental state. It wasn’t a fun time as any of his other team mates point it out to be.
“Should we update your emergency contact, Lieutenant Riley?” The nurse had inquired dealing with his medical records.
A part of him wanted to say no, but remembering what was waiting for him home, he could not allow himself to break his wife’s heart as well as his own daughter if the time ever comes that he dies in the middle of battle. He would want to ensure if ever that was to happen, you would know and hope that you would move on.
“Yes,” He agreed accepting the clipboard and pen handed to him.
Without an ounce of hesitation, he wrote your name and your number under his emergency contacts.
His handwriting was decent and readable at best, chicken scratch at worst as Johnny had eloquently pointed out during reports. But there was this special care with the way he wrote your first name and his last name that you were more than happy to take as soon as you married all those years ago. Your number was ingrained to his brain as he wrote it, having forced himself to memorize in the event he didn’t have his personal phone with him and simply a burner phone for missions.
What truly took him a second to write was the blank space dedicated to his relationship with you. No one knew he was in a relationship, nor did anyone know about his marriage. It took him a full two minutes before he found himself slowly opening the flood gates of his personal life that he had tried his best to hide from the world.
“Never knew you were married, Lieutenant.”
“Never planned on letting anyone know about it.” He spoke honestly, the cold demeanor and tone enough to stop the conversation from going further about his personal life.
Little did Simon know that the upcoming mission would lead to him having to make use of the emergency contact.
~
When you had begun your relationship with one Simon Riley, you had always accepted that he would always be gone for uncertain amounts of months in a year, you had accepted that part of him. How mission would always mean the world was a little safer from the dangers of man. You accepted all the big and small flaws that came with Simon and even in your eventual marriage and the birth of your daughter, you had come to accept the danger that would come in missions that would place him badly bruised or beaten beyond repair. You would always be there to tend to each and every single wounds and be the shoulder for him to cry on when he was good and ready.
But nothing could have ever prepared you for another unknown call coming from your phone. You’ve always expected it to be your husband, checking up on you before the mission begins like he always does. But the voice of an unknown man was the last thing you would have expected.
He called himself John Price and you know the man from your husband’s few conversations when he talks about the people he works with. You had feared for the worst as soon as he had explained that your husband has just gotten out of surgery after a mission. A few broken bones and a superficial gunshot wound. But it was enough to worry you as Simon himself has been asking for you as soon as he was out of surgery and in lucid consciousness.
On most days you were calm and collected, but it was the panic of seeing the worse of your husband that had you carrying your two year old and a baby bag towards your car with a mission. The Captain had asked if you could possibly have someone come get him but you know no one else better to check up on him but yourself and your daughter that was all the more excited about being in the car.
The travel was rather long and rather tedious knowing you and your husband had agreed to live away from the city and away from any dangers that may come to you and the baby while he was gone. You had appreciated the distance, the peaceful tranquility that came with being away from the bustle and noise of the city but not this time. It had meant a longer journey and a more hectic one since the base was all the way across the other side.
Once you had arrived to the base, all eyes were on you. Many eyes had lingered on you when they heard your last name. You know for a fact that your husband’s name and reputation beholds him, but you never knew nor did you ever try to question to what extent. It unnerved you more was how avoidant everyone had been of you aside from one of the soldiers tasked with bringing you and your daughter to your husband.
Outside the infirmary room was a rugged man. The man exudes an air or control and intensity and rugged strength, but not as much as your husband did. His posture was upright, suggesting discipline and years of military training. Dressed in an all too familiar tactical gear, he gives off a no-nonsense vibe that immediately commands attention.
“Ma’am, my name is John Price.” The man introduced the moment he caught sight of you.
You spoke your name and your daughter that was surprisingly all too mum in the whole situation, you were surprised that she wasn’t crying at being in an unfamiliar environment like she usually was.
“It is best to assume that you two are Simon’s wife and daughter, I presume?” He inquired.
You took a moment to think if it was alright to agree with his statement. Knowing your husband and the array of precaution he had come to give you, you were uncertain if you could trust the man with such a fact.
“Yes.” You spoke, dealing with the consequence later as there was something more important that needed your attention. “How’s he doing?” You inquired wanting to change the subject now.
“Stable. A little loopy from the drugs, but he’ll make a fast recovery.”
You nodded, hesitation of asking if you would be allowed to see him now in his state.
“He was looking for you.” He opened the door for you and you were welcomed with your husband in bed with his mask still on.
“Dada!” Your daughter squealed upon the sight of your husband groggy still.
You watched as his head turned to look at you and your daughter.
“Love…” He grunted wincing at the pain that you were certain that was coming in full force now.
“I’m here, Baby.” You whispered approaching him, cupping his cheeks gently. “Me and Cassie are here.” You assured trying your best to hide the tears that were fighting to fall at the sight of him.
~
When Simon Riley had opened his eyes, the first thing that he had come to notice was the pain that surrounded his entire body. The next thing that he noticed was the warmth that wrapped around his calloused hand.
Turning his head he saw the most beautiful sight that he had the fortune of seeing in his life. His wife and daughter. The more pressing matter was the fact that you were asleep in an all too familiar uncomfortable plastic chair with one hand on him, and your other arm held onto your baby sleeping on your chest.
“Baby…” He grunted harsher than he intended.
Slowly blinking away, your eyes immediately turned down towards your daughter before your eyes met his own.
“How are you holding up?” You inquired immediately, trying your best not to wake your sleeping daughter still cradled snuggly on your chest.
“Like a bitch.” He muttered appreciating being able to swear with his daughter still asleep. “But I’ll live.”
“I’m glad.” You sighed, rubbing his hand tenderly. “I was so worried about you when your boss called me. I thought something worse has happened.” You whispered.
“I didn’t really want to worry you—or have you see me like this.” He muttered.
“I know.” You nodded gently letting go of his hand to cup his cheeks that still was covered with his mask. “But I’m still as glad to be here right now knowing you’re alright. Me and Cassie get to see you’re alright.”
At the mention of your daughter, Simon noticed his daughter begin to get fussy from your chest. Gently pushing himself up until he sat on his bed much to your protest, he took your now crying daughter into his arms, gently laying her onto his chest and how quick she was sated in his warmth.
“Daddy’s here, Angel. I’m here.” He began to whisper, pulling off his balaclava to kiss his daughter onto top of her head. “I’m not going soon for a while. I promise.”
He has yet to tell you about the doctor’s insistence that he takes a few months off. It would be something he would tell when you get home. Once he finishes up with the paper works, he’ll let you know of the good news. For now, all that’s important was he had you and his daughter here with him, even in his most vulnerable state.

Charmed by Two
pairing: John Price x singlemom!Reader
synopsis: When John Price steps into your life, he’s not just falling for you—he’s falling for your spirited 4-year-old daughter, too. Without a father figure in sight, Price finds himself enchanted by the little girl’s charm and innocence. As he slowly earns her trust with bedtime stories, backyard adventures, and a well-placed British wit, he also finds himself falling deeper for you. But his determination to impress you both comes with a question: can he truly be the man you both deserve?
word count: 1574
warnings: Fluff, mild angst (discussions of past relationships), Price’s fatherly charm, emotional moments, and a lot of found-family vibes.
John Price had been in plenty of tight spots before—ambushes, firefights, missions that left him questioning if he’d make it home. He’d spent most of his adult life on the battlefield, navigating dangerous situations and making life-or-death decisions. But nothing, absolutely nothing, compared to the delicate operation of holding a tiny pink teacup in his calloused hands, pinky out, under the watchful eye of a four-year-old who was beaming up at him like he’d just hung the moon.
"Mr. Price," she said with all the seriousness her little voice could muster, "you’re not holding it right. Your pinky has to stick out like this!" She demonstrated, her tiny pinky jutting out at an angle as she lifted her cup of imaginary tea.
John chuckled, his deep laugh rumbling through his chest, and she giggled in response. "Right, right," he said, mimicking her movements, awkwardly extending his pinky. "Like a proper gentleman, yeah?"
"Yes!" she exclaimed, her curls bouncing as she nodded.
"Careful," your daughter warned, her tiny brows furrowing in a perfect imitation of your serious face. "You can’t spill it. This is very important tea."
"Got it, ma’am," he replied, his gravelly voice warm with humor. His pinky stuck out awkwardly as he mimicked her movements, holding the teacup steady. "Wouldn’t want to ruin the most important tea of the year."
She giggled, her curls bouncing as she leaned forward to pour another round of imaginary tea from her plastic teapot. "It’s the best tea in the world," she declared.
Price didn’t miss a beat, bringing the empty cup to his lips and sipping with exaggerated gusto. "Ah, perfect brew. You’re a natural, love. Could open your own tea shop."
Her eyes lit up, and she beamed at him like he’d just handed her the moon. "Really? You’d come to my tea shop?"
"Every day," he said solemnly. "I’d be your best customer."
From the doorway, you watched the scene unfold, your heart swelling at the sight. You hadn’t expected John to bond so easily with your daughter. When you’d first introduced them, you’d been nervous—terrified, even. She was your world, and letting someone into her life wasn’t something you did lightly. But John had stepped into the role with a natural ease that left you in awe.
It wasn’t just the little things, like playing tea parties or reading her bedtime stories. It was the way he listened to her, the way he knelt to her level when she spoke, the way he made her feel important. He had a quiet patience with her that made your chest ache, especially knowing how her father had never shown her the same.
"More tea, sir?" your daughter asked, holding out the teapot.
"Don’t mind if I do," he replied, holding out his cup with a grin.
She poured the imaginary tea with the utmost concentration, her tongue peeking out of the corner of her mouth. When she finished, she beamed up at him. "There! Now you have to drink it all, or it’s bad manners."
"Bad manners, eh?" He raised an eyebrow, feigning seriousness. "Well, can’t have that."
He brought the empty cup to his lips, making an exaggerated sipping sound, then smacked his lips. "Ah, that’s the best tea I’ve ever had."
She erupted into giggles, her laughter filling the room.
You couldn’t help but smile as you leaned against the doorframe. When he glanced up and caught your eye, his expression softened. He gave you a small, almost shy smile, as if to say, I’m trying my best.
And he was.
-
Later that evening, after your daughter had been tucked into bed and the house had fallen quiet, You found John in the kitchen, rinsing out the teacups she’d insisted on washing after the party. He looked up as you entered, a dish towel slung over one shoulder.
"Tea party wear you out?" you teased.
He chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "She’s got more energy than I do, that’s for sure."
"She adores you, you know," you said softly, your gaze steady on him.
His eyes flicked to yours, something tender and vulnerable in his expression. "Yeah?"
You nodded. "She talks about you all the time. Says you’re her hero."
The corner of his mouth quirked up, but there was a weight behind his smile. "She’s a good kid. Smart, too. You’ve done a hell of a job with her."
"Thank you," you murmured, your chest tightening. "But you’re the one she looks at like that now. Like you’re her whole world."
His eyes distant for a moment before he turned to you. "I’ve never had anything like this before," he admitted. "Never thought I’d… fit into something like this. But I want to. For her. For you."
Tears pricked at your eyes, and you reached out to his arm. "You do fit, John. Better than I ever imagined."
He squeezed your hand, his voice low and steady. "I know I can’t replace… I know I’m not her dad. But I’ll do right by her, for as long as you’ll let me."
You leaned your head against his shoulder, your heart full. "I wouldn’t want it any other way."
You smiled despite yourself, but you couldn’t help but feel a pang of something deeper.
This wasn’t the first time he’d spent an afternoon entertaining your daughter, but it was the first time you let yourself really think about what it meant. He wasn’t just playing along; he was present in a way you hadn’t expected. In a way that scared you.
This wasn’t something you’d planned for. When you’d first met John, you’d been cautious. He was older, gruff, and came with the kind of baggage you knew could complicate things. And you had your daughter to think about—her safety, her happiness. Letting someone into her life wasn’t just a decision for you; it was a decision for both of you.
And yet, here he was looking at your daughter like she was the most important person in the world. It was endearing, yes, but it also scared you. What if this didn’t last? What if he decided this wasn’t the life he wanted?
You closed your eyes as you tried to steady your breathing. The logical part of you knew John cared, but the quieter, more insecure part of you couldn’t help but question if this was all temporary. Was he here for you? For her? Or just because it was easy right now?
"Love, you alright?"
His voice startled you, and you quickly wiped your hands on your jeans, pretending you hadn’t been lost in your thoughts. He was looking directly at you, the tiara still perched on his head, though slightly askew. His eyes were soft, a mixture of curiosity and concern.
"Yeah," you said quickly, offering him a small smile. "Just… thinking."
"You’ve got that look," he murmured.
"What look?"
"The one you get when you’re overthinking something," he said, his lips quirking up into a small smile. "Want to tell me about it?"
You hesitated, biting your lip as you glanced past him toward the living room, where your daughter was now busy rearranging her tea set. "She really likes you," you said quietly.
John didn’t respond right away. Instead, he tilted his head, studying you carefully. "And you’re worried about that?"
You let out a shaky breath. "She’s already been let down once. I don’t want her to get attached if…" Your voice trailed off, and you shook your head, looking away.
"If I leave?" he finished gently.
You nodded, feeling a lump rise in your throat. "It’s not just about her, though," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper. "It’s about me, too."
His expression softened, and he reached out to take your hands in his. "Look at me, love."
You did, your chest tightening at the sincerity in his eyes. "She’s brilliant, smart as a whip, full of life… she reminds me of you."
"I know I can’t erase what she’s been through," he said quietly. "And I know I can’t promise to be perfect. But I’m here because I want to be. For her. For you. I’m not going anywhere." he continued, his voice low and steady.
You blinked up at him, searching his face for any hint of doubt, but there was none. Tears stung your eyes, and you bit your lip, trying to keep them at bay. "You mean that?"
"With everything I’ve got," he said, his voice steady and sure. "I know you’ve been hurt before, and I know you’re scared, but I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t mean it. I care about her, and I care about you. Both of you."
Tears welled in your eyes, and you quickly wiped them away, embarrassed. "I just… I don’t want to get this wrong."
"You’re not getting it wrong," he murmured, stepping closer until his forehead was nearly touching yours. "We’re figuring it out together. Yeah?"
You nodded, exhaling shakily, a tear slipping down your cheek. He reached up to brush it away with his thumb, his touch warm and reassuring.
"Besides," he added with a small grin, "I think your little one’s already decided I’m sticking around. She said I’m her best customer, remember?"
You laughed, the tension in your chest easing. "She really has taken to you."
"And I’ve taken to her," he said simply. "To both of you."

CAPTAIN JOHN PRICE
‣ Definitely 1 girl, 1 boy.
‣ Is very big on respect. If either of them disrespect you, shout, or start being bratty, he is right on it.
‣ Got his boy into football at a young age, and is the loudest dad out of them all. He will be shouting to him on the field just like when he barks out orders to rookies.
‣ Always wants to go on fishing trips. Always. I feel like it would be something him and his daughter do more than anyone.
‣ He isn’t big on technology at all. Pretty much just because he just can’t wrap his head around it.
‣ I imagine him keeping up with the new iPhone models, but would not change a thing about them. This man has default everything on his phone (apart from his lock screen of you and the kids).
‣ He is 100% one of them dads that never know what to call airpods.
‣ “What was it he wanted for Christmas? Airbuds? Earpods? iBuds?”
‣ “Airpods, John.”
SIMON ‘GHOST’ RILEY
‣ 3 girls. You cannot convince me otherwise. And he definitely secretly hoped for all girls.
‣ When Simon is home from deployment, they go to him for everything.
‣ Nightmares? You will wake up in the morning to find him missing from your bed, only to find him asleep, half hanging off of one of their beds with his arms round them on his chest, snoring loud.
‣ Simon is so usually on edge, though has learnt to zone his girls out when they are arguing.
‣ “Dad, tell her I’m right.”
‣ “Hm?”
‣ He especially zones out when his oldest girl is talking about school drama. He isn’t listening to a word of it, sat on the living room sofa with his head leant back, eyes shut, humming every so often to make it seem like he is following.
‣ I don’t think he ever shouts. Raising his voice for assertiveness? Yes, but he never shouts at his girls. It reminds him of how his dad use to be with him, and the thought of being even a smidge like his dad really scares him.
JOHNNY ‘SOAP’ MACTAVISH
‣ 2 girls.
‣ He aspires for them both to be bestfriends.
‣ He aspires to be their bestfriends. Like he admires them both.
‣ He will never turn down a tea party invitation. Never.
‣ You’ll be cooking dinner, and have no idea where Johnny is. But you hear distant giggles, and follow them up to your daughters’ room. There, you find your military husband sat at a little plastic table, wearing a tiara, clinking tiny cups together with your daughters and their little bears.
‣ “Well it’s nice to see you again Mr. Snuggles. And who is this new gue- oh, hey lass. Wanna join?”
‣ When they start to grow up, he lets them experiment with make up on him.
‣ And seeing your military husband with sparkly pink eyeshadow on and red rosy cheeks really is a sight for sore eyes.
‣ When on deployment, he will tell any and every story of his little girls to anyone that will listen. He loves to show them off.
‣ This ‘anyone’ is usually Ghost.
KYLE ‘GAZ’ GARRICK
‣ 1 boy.
‣ Definitely has a modern style for his kids. He 100% bought him a pair of adorable tiny airforces.
‣ Is his son’s biggest supporter, in everything.
‣ He is big on praise. The biggest softie ever.
‣ Will put up every single painting his son has made. Your fridge is literally covered in paintings, drawings, pretty much anything made by your little boy, will be put up somewhere in the house.
‣ He vlogs literally everything. More than you.
‣ He watches them all when on deployment, missing you both, usually forgetting about sleep so that he can rewatch his little boy’s first steps for the 100th time.
‣ He also big on getting his boy into his own hobbies. Even though he has no awareness to suitable ages.
‣ You’re on the phone with him one night whilst he is away, as he talks to you about what he wants to get your son into.
‣ “When I’m back I’m gonna take us clay shooting. I reckon he’d like it”
‣ “He’s 2 Kyle”
KÖNIG
‣ 1 girl, you cannot argue.
‣ He worships the ground his babygirl walks on.
‣ He will literally do anything for her. And you, of course. But his little girl is the light of his life.
‣ He loves when he is home because he takes every opportunity to dress his little girl. Every single time he does he is internally screaming at the size of the clothes.
‣ Every. Single. Time. He will come home from deployment with a bouquet of flowers for his wife, and pull out a singular flower before he reaches the door to give to his babygirl.
‣ You are definitely the one wearing the trousers in the household, always having to put your foot down. Because there is no way this man could ever say no to his little girl.
‣ Is always taking photos of the both of you. Always. He isn’t often in photos himself, but will never miss an opportunity to take one of either of you.
‣ When he is home and takes care of your daughter whilst you go to work, he will be sending you videos and photos 24/7 as little updates.
‣ I can imagine him being the driest texter on the planet. Like he is a proper dad, will just send a ‘👍’ or one word answers. So these photos and videos will rarely ever have context. He will just send them randomly.
‣ Is completely unaware of suitable bedtimes for kids. You will spend a night out with your friends, and come back in at like 10pm to find him up with your toddler making pancakes.
‣ “König! She should have been in bed at 7pm!”
‣ “Oh”

John Price with his chunky baby and spunky baby mama 🫶
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/841fc99844b715d933660b06b4f28bdd/cd5116220acb1864-7b/s540x810/6ad316e782f70fb22525ea6cbaed3e37756df11a.jpg)
Warnings: Spit-up, normal baby things!!
Fluff ahead 🤍
“Better stop kickin’ them legs, little lady,” John huffs, squishing the giggling infant’s round cheeks softly to make her lips pucker out.
Her incessant babbling and the playful growls that come from your husband’s mouth coax you into the nursery. As you lean against the doorframe, you have to stifle a laugh—there are about twenty used wipes scattered about the changing table, and the rowdy little babe is kicking off every fresh diaper John tries to put on her. Suddenly, her cute little coos and gummy smiles turn into tiny grunts and a concentrated face. Your eyes widen, trying to warn your husband.
“John, she’s about to-!”
“Bloody hell!” He groans, holding a diaper over his weapon of a baby’s bottom.
The laughs don’t cease this time, covering your mouth as your chest shakes with spiteful delight. You walk over to your grimacing husband, hugging him from behind and pressing a kiss to his shoulder. He sighs in defeat, grabbing what seems like the thousandth wipe and starting the whole process over again.
“Think it’s funny, do ya?” John jokes, turning around momentarily to give you a playful glare.
“I think it’s hilarious, actually. She gets it from her dad,” you shrug, crossing your arms and cooing at your chunky baby.
“Ha, ha,” John mocks dismissively, giving his baby girl a stern look as he lifts her legs up yet again. She replies with a belly laugh, and his pursed lips turn upward into an amused grin as he slides the fresh diaper beneath her bottom.
“Got a pair o’lungs like her mum, though,” he smirks, fastening the sticky tabs to the front part of the nappy.
That earns him a soft smack to the back of his neck, making his shoulders dance with each chuckle he lets out. John zips up the pink camouflage onesie he’d put on her and lifts her into the air, pretending to groan like she’s the heaviest thing he could possibly lift. She babbles and stares down at him adoringly for a moment before staring off into space and chewing on her fist. He lowers her into his bent arms, cradling her and tapping her nose with the tip of his finger.
“Here, give her to me, I’ll go get her a teething ring,” you suggest, holding your arms out to your chubby little infant.
John laughs heartily as the sassy infant glances at you through her peripheral vision before returning her attention back to her old man. The heart-eyes she gives him make you pout, bottom lip quivering in mock offense.
“Sorry, sweetheart, I guess she just prefers her daddy,” he beams, lifting the baby up into the air once more, but making one crucial mistake—pressing his hands into her soft tummy.
You raise an eyebrow as John continues to brag and boast about the tiny human’s favoritism. He misses the way her squishy body jiggles with a silent burp. You don’t.
“Ain’t that right, lovebug? Daddy’s your very fav-” he stops mid-sentence when the waterfall of rancid milk spews out of the wriggly baby’s mouth and right into his own.
Wordlessly, you take your daughter (who seems rather proud of herself) into your arms and clean her up with a burp rag, leaving John open-mouthed and horrified in the middle of the nursery. You snicker as you kiss the noisy babe on her forehead, cooing to her proudly. With a final glance over your shoulder, you smile innocently at your husband with one last suggestion.
“Should probably brush your teeth before you come back downstairs.”

Captain John Price
• he wakes you up with a kiss on the forehead and a coffee in hand.
• The little ones are still asleep and he just wants to spend time with the mother of his children.
• when your daughters and son decide that it’s time to get up, they are running around handing you flowers and cards and balloons with the words “Happy Mother’s Day” written on them.
• John is making you breakfast with the girls attempting to help and your son sitting on the counter coloring.
• every year he plans to take you out to a nice restaurant and you to go to watch a play at the local theater
• He gives you lots of kisses and tells you how amazing a mother you are.
• He gives you a spa treatment to use whenever you need and puts a crap ton of money on it as well as also giving you a Starbucks gift card with $100 on it knowing your coffee obsession.
Lieutenant Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley
• you’re a mother to be and about eight months pregnant with your first born son.
• because of the trauma Simon had to go through all those years ago he never really understood what Mother’s Day was and so didn’t think much of it when it was coming around.
• after hearing what some of his friends were doing for their wives he thought it would be best to do some thing for you in a similar fashion.
• he doesn’t necessarily want to go out and do anything too extravagant. He doesn’t see the need to.
• but he understands that you are carrying his child his first born, his son so he feels very obligated and very protective of you.
• he buys you your favorite flowers and does a huge amount of online shopping for things for you and for the baby.
• One might think that just because he has no clue about Mother’s Day that he would be a horrible gift giver when that is simply not true. Simon is trained to study all the little details in life and so he knows exactly what your favorite things are right down to the exact color shade and style.
• this man has read so many parent books he knows exactly what his child needs well before the due date and advise you whatever you could possibly need to make your pregnancy as smooth as possible.
• he will take you to your favorite place at the park where you two can have a quiet lunch together.

Sergeant Johnny ‘Soap’ MacTavish
• your son was the first one to wake you both up as he was screaming on the top of his lungs saying happy Mother’s Day.
• Johnny just laughs and gives you a kiss, wishing you also a happy Mother’s Day before getting jumped on by his son desperately trying to wake up his parents so he could have breakfast, and show you his artwork that he had been working on for you.
• he bought you a really pretty and expensive pair of earrings and matching necklace. Don’t ask him how much it was.
• Johnny asks his parents if they could watch his son for the day as he takes you out for a couples massage and goes thrift shopping with you.
• this is a fun hobby that you guys have and enjoy doing.
• sometime during dinner at a simple bistro that you guys like to go to, he whispers into your ear about growing the family.
• let’s just say baby number two is on its way
Sargent Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
• he is very new at being a father only having two months with his newborn daughter.
• like Simon, he doesn’t know what to do for you for Mother’s Day so he calls his mom for help.
• She suggests that he do some thing for you or give something to you to make her feel special.
• he decides that he would watch the baby for the day while you go get your hair done your fingernails done and get a massage as well as give you some money to go buy some clothes and to hang out with your girlfriends.
• he’s not the best cook so he decides to order takeout for you both at one of your favorite pizza restaurants.
• when you get back home he sets the table up real nicely and make sure to get you some really pretty flowers and your favorite chocolate from the store.
• he also orders your favorite wine.
• Once your baby girl has fallen asleep, you both decide to watch a cheesy Romcom.
• it’s really simple but it’s the perfect Mother’s Day gift you could ever ask for.
Commander Alejandro Vargas
• this man is already making you breakfast for the day. His two older children have gone to hang out at one of their friends places while the youngest, a three-year-old, was in her highchair eating breakfast.
• he brings the food to you as you’re just waking up.
• Like Johnny, he bought you a beautiful set of earrings and necklace that the kids helped picked out.
• he’s going to take you out to a really nice restaurant and later dancing so he make sure to get you a nice dress that he knows that you would like.
• he buys every single rose from every single flower shop in Las Almes
• giving you neck kisses from behind as you’re getting ready.
•Asked his single brother to watch the baby while the other kids are having a sleep over at their cousins house.
• he spent the whole night pampering you and telling you how much he loves you and thanking you for his children.
• Spent the rest of the night having spicy time on the couch and bedroom.
Sergeant Major Rodolfo "Rudy" Parra
• because your two year-old son has a severe infection and is in the hospital, you both decide not to do some thing extravagant since most of your money is going towards taking care of the little one.
• with that being said, that doesn’t mean that he isn’t going to try for you.
• he is a simple man but he does what he can for you to make you happy.
• for some odd reason all of the roses in Las Almes are all sold out, so he buys a really nice mixed bouquet that he knows that you like.
• he also gives you a simple gift card to your favorite coffee shop with a cute card to go with it.
• you order takeout and have it delivered to the hospital, where you guys are at making sure that your son is ok.
• even though it’s not the Best Mother’s Day, you too are just happy to be together with your son.
König
• he always thinks really hard about what you would like for Mother’s Day.
• he’s not a social butterfly but he’ll make an exception for you. So if you want to go out to a restaurant he will do that for you.

Alex Keller
• this dude is a Golden retriever when it comes to love. He gets so excited when he gets to spend Mother’s Day with you and his newborn son.
• since you just had the baby you’re still in the hospital, and he makes sure to take care of all your needs while you get pampered by him. He buys you a really cute t-shirt with the words ‘mamma bear’ on it.
• he gets you sushi from your favorite Japanese restaurant.
• plays card games with you and lets you win.
• watches TV with you in the hospital room while holding your hand and telling you how proud he is and he hopes to grow the family more in the future.
Philip Graves
• is a southern boy so his mama always taught him how to treat a lady.
• Think 1940s gentleman
• most people think he would have a son but he has a little girl instead.
• is a super proud daddy of his baby girl and even more proud of his wife.
• unfortunately for this Mother’s Day, he’s away with the shadow company in Mexico so he’s unable to spend Mother’s Day with you.
• he does send you a text letting you know how much he misses you and to have a amazing Mother’s Day.
