23 Republican Senators & 124 Congressmen signed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court asking for a 50 state ban on mifepristone, a drug safer than tylenol that is standard treatment for abortion & miscarriages, "due to safety concerns". The brief DARES to argue that banning the life saving drug would save women from 'reproductive control'. (x) These 147 people would rather have women die of sepsis than let women control their own bodies. If your representatives are on this list, call them and tell their office you will be voting against them in the next election because they asked SCOTUS to throw the US medical drug system into chaos at the cost of American lives.

The Green Man
NAME: The Green Man.
SYMBOLS: Man's face surrounded by leaves.
USUAL IMAGE: A man's face looking out of a cluster of leaves or leaves that seem to form a human face.
HOLY DAYS None official, but letâs say May the 1st.
PLACE OF WORSHIP: A forest, an orchard, or a field either ready for planting crops or harvesting.
MAJOR TABOOS: Taking without putting back.
RELATIVES: All plant life, any of several seasonal Goddesses.
SYNODEITIES: Many, it could be said that the Green Man can be likened to dozens of Gods who were born in the Spring, lived and loved during the Summer, and died in the Fall to spend the Winter in the underworld, only to be reborn again in the spring, such as Adonis, Lono, Xipe, Dionysus, Tammuz, John Barleycorn, and many, many others.
DETAILS: There is no deity called the Green Man; the term was coined to name a figure that first appeared on funeral stones outside of churches and later was put in out-of-the-way places by stone masons on early cathedrals.
At first, appearing sad or angry, but later, about the time that worship of Mary became part of Church practices, happy or triumphant. Just what this image was to them, we cannot say, but it is thought to be an image of nature as an awakened initiator, a guardian, and revealer of nature's mysteries, whose body was wild nature itself. He is an icon that will not leave the Western mind, it seems, turning up again and again.
One of the first places he shows up is among the tales of King Arthur. There he shows up in green armor, riding a green horse. Riding right into the court, he offers to let any knight take a swing at his neck, noting that if he should live, the knight must seek him out one year later and let the Green Knight take the same strike at his neck.
Sir Gawain, the most handsome and fearless of knights, accepted the stranger's challenge and chopped the Green Knight's head off with one stroke. As the head is rolling around on the floor, the Green Knight's body walks over, picks up the head, puts it back on, and leaves, reminding Gawain to look for him in one year. One year later, Gawain arrives at the chapel where the Green Knight lives.
There he was tested by the Knight's wife (perhaps The MorrigĂĄn), where he succumbed somewhat to her.
Later he offers his neck to the Green Knight, who wings his sword but stops just before it would have hit, giving him only a tiny nick to remind him of his indiscretion.
It can also be said that Robin Hood of Sherwood Forrest is another face of the green one. More than a few people have expounded on the divine origin of Robin & Marian.
Another example of `Jack In The Green, as some called him, can be found among the chimney sweeps of old London.
At one point, they had a presentation they performed each May day in which a man would peer out of a cage made from wicker and covered in leaves.
The sweeps then dressed up in elaborate tinsel and ribbons and danced around the framework banging drums, blowing whistles, and cracking shovels and sticks together. Sometimes this got out of hand, especially when rival groups set up their Jack in the Green.
Can the Green Man be found today in new modern forms? Some will disagree, but I think the following could be said to count. One of the strangest appeared in 1946 on the pages of the science fiction magazine Amazing Stories, then edited by Ray Palmer, who some call the father of ufology.
The Story was The Green Man by Harold M. Sherman. Sherman was a pulp writer and noted psychic of the time who had participated in a famous at the time Telepathy Experiment with an Explorer at the Pole.
The story concerned the coming of a messiah figure in a flying saucer (months before the sighting in 1947 that would coin the phrase flying saucer). He returned in late '47 in the aptly titled Return of the Green Man. Sherman would later claim that the idea that UFOnauts were `little green menâ came about as a result of his story..... even if his Green Man was pretty tall.
In the '50s, there was the Jolly Green Giant. Sure, he was just a corporate symbol, but you have to give him points for the fact that 50's Moms wrote the company in the early 50s asking that he be taken off the tube because his claymation image was scaring the frozen peas out of the kiddies!
And there's that massive statue of him in Blue Earth, Michigan. Another to consider such legendary critters as the Yeti, Bigfoot, & Sasquatch. How many people have claimed to have seen their hairy faces staring out at them through the green?
And donât forget the Ents from the Lord of the Rings! Lastly, I would add DC Comics Swamp Thing, I think he could be included for consideration if, for no other reason, the concept of the Parliament of Trees appeared in the magazine when it was being written by Alan Moore.
While never really a worshiped deity per se, I would say that this
figure is still one that is deeply rooted in the Western mind.

Two Louisville Police Officers Shot
LOS ANGELES (OnlineColumnsit.com), Spt. 23, 2020.--âNo justice, no peaceâ calls echoed in Louisville, Ky. after two Louisville police officers were shot, after a grand jury acquitted two officers involved in the deadly no- knock warrant entry, killing 26-year-od EMT tech Breonna Taylor March 13. Â Two officers remain in a Louisville hospital in stable condition. Â Two officers involved in Taylorâs killing, Det. Myles Cosgrove [who fired the kill shot] and Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly, were not charged by the grand jury, agreeing with police that both used deadly force justifiably, after Mattingly was hit in the thigh by Breonna Taylorâs boyfriend Kenneth Walker who fired a âwarning shotâ at police through Breonnaâs apartment door. Â Judge Annie OâConnell charged a third officer Det. Brett Hankison, who was fired in June, with three counts of âreckless endangermentâ for discharging his weapon into adjacent apartments. Â Â Â Â
Erupting in violence tonight, Louisville residents took to the streets to protest what they felt was an insult by Louisville authorities.  âOur investigation showed, and the grand jury agreed, that Mattingly and Cosgrove were justified in their return of deadly force after having been fired uponâ by Breonnaâs boyfriend Kenneth Walker, said Kentucky Atty. Gen. Daniel Cameron.  Breonnaâs family attorney, who recently won a $12 million out-of-court settlement, Ben Crump expressed outrage at the Jefferson County grand jury.  Crump couldnât fathom Congrove and Mattingly not charged, indicting Hankison âfor bullets that went into other apartments but NOTHING for the murder of Breonna Taylor,â tweeted Crump, inciting the violence tonight that resulting in two police shootings.  Crump, a well-known defense attorney, knew his words would carry weight.  âThis is outrageous and offensive!â tweeted Crump.   Â
Louisvilleâs grand jury was not swayed by the intimidating public atmosphere that has black leaders making wild claims of âsystemicâ racism not only in white police departments but in the public at large.  Crump thinks the grand jury finding is âoutrageous and offensive,â but he had no answer for Cameron and the grand jury.  âThe death of Breonna Taylor was a tragedy.  But these officers did not act in a reckless or unprofessional manner,â said Mattinglyâs attorney Kent J. Wicker.  âThey did their duty, performed their roles as law enforcement officers and, above all, did not break the law,â disputing Crumpâs assertions, Black Lives Matters and other members of the African American community blaming white law enforcement for police brutality.  Louisville police were very concerned about the street violence after two officers were shot just after a 9:00 PM curfew went into effect.   Â
Louisville police are now dealing with incitement by Breonna-family defense attorney Ben Crump.  âIf Brett Harkinsonâs behavior was wanton endangerment to people in neighboring apartments, then it should have been wanton endangerment in Breonna Taylorâs apartment too.  In fact, it should have been wanton murder!â Crump tweeted.  Crump knows that the grand jury found that returning fire after getting struck by Breonnaâs boyfriend justified the officers discharging their service weapons. Crump knows that Cameron and the grand jury took a serious look at the evidence and applied it with the grand jury to appropriate police tactics after taking fire from a shooter.  Breonnaâs sister JuâNayah Palmer didnât help things blaming the city where Breonna worked as an EMP-tech.  Palmer said Breonna was âfailed by the systemâ she âworked hard for,â stirring more unrest.   Â
African Americans have been whipped up by Black Lives Matters and other anti-police groups to believe that racist police departments have declared âopen seasonâ on the African American community.  Youâd think with 18.000 police departments and 800,000 full-time police in the U.S., the public would take a more measured look at the law enforcement community.  Every regrettable incident results in Black Lives Matters calling for de-funding police department around the country. Yet when violence takes place in inner cities like Chicago where black-on-black shooting has become all to common, the police form that thin blue line between anarchy and order, violence and peace.  Black Lives Matter should look at the data showing that 503 residents of Chicago were shot in Aug, with 63 fatalities.  Insolated police shootings like Breonna Taylor or Jacob Blake are rare compared to inner city violence.  Â
U.S. citizens canât have it both ways:  Wanting the police to maintain an orderly-safe-society or de-funding police, letting violent criminals rule the streets like in Chicago.  When agitators hear defense attorneys decrying racial injustice, theyâre inadvertently stoke more racism and street violence.  Whether admitted to or not, thereâs no evidence that âsystemic racismâ caused the recent spate of police shootings, including the May 25 choke-hold-knee-on-the-neck death of 46-year-old George Floyd in Minneapolis.  Democrat Presidential nominee 77-year-old former Vice President Joe Biden sided with Breonna Taylor over the Louisville police, asking whether todayâs law enforcement can âdeliver justice for Breonna,â stoking more violence.  Biden knows the facts and heard from Kentuckyâs attorney general, saying that the officers involved performed their jobs in accordance with the law..
