"Either as Captain O'Shea or the vengeful Earl, John Emery was a fine young romantic actor. He had style and eloquence and was completely at ease in costume drama. In July of the same year [1937] I was to see him as Lord Peter Wimsey in Busman's Honeymoon at the Westport County Playhouse in Connecticut. As is the custom in summer theaters, his engagement was for only a week. He'd had but a week of rehearsal, yet he gave a deft and amusing performance. At the time I was living in a rented house on Long Island Sound, ten miles from Westport. It boasted a swimming pool and free liquor. There I held open house for the likes of Anna May Wong, Clifton Webb, Estelle Winwood, Vincent Price, Louisa Carpenter and a lot of other friends, overloaded with leisure.
"I got a sizzling crush on John on seeing his Wimsey. After the performance I went back to see him. Would he care to spend the week end with me? John readily agreed. I found him intelligent, amusing and exceptionally good-looking. He had good manners and seemed a good listener. This last marked him a rare bird in the set in which I traveled.
"But when John asked me to marry him, I looked upon his offer as an impertinence. Wasn't he getting presumptuous on short acquaintance?"
--Tallulah Bankhead on meeting her husband John Emery, from Tallulah: My Autobiography (Ch. 10)

Okay, I found this article a while back. According to Tallulah Bankhead, one day while Vincent was up to her apartment having breakfast with her, and her new husband, John Emery (the mustached guy in the gif with Vincent above) was asleep in their bedroom, she sneaked Vincent into the room to gaze upon Emery's gigantic "member".
So, they sneak into the bedroom and Bankhead lifts the blanket and Emery is lying there completely naked. She offered Vincent the opportunity to "sample the wares" of her new husband and Vincent obliged....
Now, the article states "gay". I know he was "bisexual" because he did genuinely care and he loved his wives and girlfriends throughout his life, but no one truly knows, except Vincent. But this article made me giddy. And I just love it.
Carry on.

Fucking hell.
I had bought prints for Barry Sloane and Samuel Roukin to sign. The Instagram chat was horrible. Fucking stop being gross and awful. I tried to ask questions but they were drowned out by people spamming 'say hi to me!' Or 'say happy birthday to me!'
I was so fucking embarrassed because people were gross and weird. Look, I get it, hot men on live that we can talk to, but they are not the characters and you can't fucking treat them like they are.
Barry mentioned Neil Ellice has a kid/s and people lost their shit. Sam said he had kids and people lost their shit.
THESE MEN ARE THEIR OWN PERSON AND NOT FOR YOU TO FORCE YOUR OWN WANTS AND NEEDS ONTO!
It was a disappointment that they didn't interact with chat as much, but given what chat was saying and doing, I don't blame them.
Fucking be better. The people who can't be decent to the actors are ruining this for everyone.
