Kanaya being transgender has textual evidence in Problem Sleuth. Object duality. Chainsaw. Described as hysterical and a broad. Candy Corn Vampire. A seamstress, a Sylph of Space, one whose role could be defined as "one who heals space" i.e. sewing the universe back together. The fact that the female alter egos are like. Textually transgender. The real question is, if she is the female alter ego, who is her original counterpart. Well.

Babe wake up laurelicious has returned with more modern au headcanons 🥱 thank u to everyone who loves on these posts and adds their own silly things to it!!! Y’all make me very happy and I’m glad we can share this goofy universe!!
Previous sillies:
1 2 3 4 5 6
See yall unda da cut 😼😼😼
Tumblr media
-little miss Unnamed Marston Daughter has absolutely been blasting Olivia Rodrigo’s new album around the house
Everyone complains but John finds himself quietly murmuring “seeing u tonight… it’s a bad idea right??” While he’s brushing his teeth
Abigail tries to be supportive and plays it while she drives the kids to school, now she and Jack know all the words to Vampire and listen to it once they’ve already dropped UMD off
-both Marston children always dress as something weird for Halloween
John and Abigail stay up late making the costumes for their weirdo children bc they love them :)
On a similar note when John and Arthur were kids they were little matching power rangers and if you bring it up to Dutch he WILL cry over it bc he loves his babies
-the entire Marston family takes Halloween way too seriously to be completely honest
Abigail and John are the cool family in the neighborhood with the really good candy
Dutch and Hosea have now graduated to the old person level of giving out full sized bars but the window of opportunity before they turn in for the night is SMALL so all the kids in their neighborhood sprint to their house first
Charles and Arthur give out tootsie rolls and milk duds. That’s it.
-the following are songs John cried to as a teenager:
Fall for You by Secondhand Serenade
Miserable at Best by Mayday Parade
Scars by Papa Roach
Disenchanted by MCR
-John and Javier were absolutely bffs in middle/high school, they kissed once at a party then never spoke of it again
Javier is now the cool childless uncle that they all see once a year and brings the kids cool gifts
-when Arthur was a teenager he got caught sneaking back into the house after curfew, he was grounded for a month
John was the asshole little sibling who was super excited that his brother was in trouble
-Arthur wears slippers, Charles wears fuzzy socks. I’m right
-Charles uses nice shampoo/conditioner and Arthur is always hovering around on wash days:)
-Arthur has broken every single toe like. 5 times at least.
-Charles and Arthur love corny ass reality TV
They started watching the bachelor to make fun of it, but now they tune in every single week and have their favorites
Tell me Arthur wouldn’t love the masked singer. He goes nuts every single time (“Charles!!!!!! They opened it up and it was KERMIT!?! That’s too good!”)
-Because Isaac doesn’t live with them full time these two go absolutely bananas when he comes to stay with them, Charles is scrubbing down the house while Arthur clears out the grocery store of all his favorite snacks :)
Before he visits Arthur is texting Eliza like “what drama should I know?? Any new friends? A girlfriend? A boyfriend?!?” Just so he’s up to date
-Arthur loves Raisin Bran/Corn Nuts/other old man cereals
-we’ve touched on this before but Charles’ mom absolutely adores Arthur and when she comes over she’s basically shoving Charles out of the way like “my baby darling Arthur how are you!!!🥰”
-Isaac plays baseball and Charles and Arthur are full on sport dads in the best way possible
They bring snacks for the team, they’re sitting in those little fold up chairs, they’re cheering louder than everyone else in the stands, etc.
Arthur ‘sentimental ass’ Morgan keeps a little box of all the memorabilia from baseball throughout the years :)
This was a particularly silly batch, methinks. As always if anyone wants me to add other characters into this universe lmk😼 alsooooo I have started writing little oneshots/drabbles/etc expanding this if anyone would be interested in reading them!! No promises on when they’d be done but I think it would be a good time hehe

I want to say that Problem Sleuth’s induction into Hysterical Dame seems to introduce what would eventually become the Space symbol (a dimensional rift) and the wardrobifier (drives a cosmetic edit), especially since Kanaya’s intro was saturated with Problem Sleuth references... hm
You know how Caliborn and Calliope are simultaneously distinct characters and components of the other’s psyche? It’s interesting how in the Epilogues, Jade’s overt possession by (slash identity with?) Calliope is complemented by hints that John was possessed by (slash identical with?) Lord English -- @lime-bloods first broached the topic here, I added the matter of John ‘hosting’ (Jake) English in Candy, @th4nkyoub3n notes John’s line “well, i’m already HERE” in Candy 1. The Harleybert’s affiliation with their respective cherubs that the humans already formed a cherubic pairing, on a narrative level. The dream sequence in which John approaches the silhouette of Jade could be another variation on the ‘spirit quest’ explored in Problem Sleuth, but with the masculine/feminine components of the syzygy individualized beyond immediate recognition as such? Or at least that the siblings might mythologize one another in this way. I confess that I’ve recently been preoccupied with parallels between Jade and John that bias me towards finding a concrete framework for their entanglement.
I also want to reiterate here a point of lime-blood’s that went over my head the first time I read the post, which is that Lord English is a candy corn vampire (the gold tooth being preceded by a candy corn Caliborn knocked out of the narrative) -- so even John dressing up as a candy corn vampire for Halloween in the end credits emphasizes his connection to Lord English.

Coquette in Autumn
Hello everyone! I know that Summer has ended, and that means many people who enjoy the coquette aesthetic are sad because the season of crop tops and shorts, boardwalks, ice cream, swimming, and much much more is gone. Most of the fashion requires warm weather. Fear not, if you’re like me and live in a place where fall exists I have made a list of helping keep up the asethetic and lifestyle.
Clothing:
Sweaters
Sweater dresses
Thigh high socks
Thigh high knee boots
Gloves. Especially ones with skeleton hands or little bows on them.
Hoodies. Especially ones with animal ears/bat wings.
Tights and pantyhose.
Capes
Light jackets
Beret hat
Fuzzy socks
Plaid skirts
Mary Jane shoes
Ankle socks (especially with lace)
Mini backpacks
Cat bell chokers
Ribbon chokers
All kinds of chokers
Combat boots
Flannels
Label pins (especially on a jean jacket)
Black latex
Skull necklaces
Skull rings
Cosmetics:
Moisturizer
Body butter
Body sprays (especially those like candy corn, warm sugar, fall leaves)
Hand sanitizer. Especially ones that are Halloween themed.
Dark lip colors.
Red lip colors.
Natural lip colors.
Orange, red, purple, brown, and nude eye shadow colors.
Spiderweb false eyelashes.
Bath bombs. Especially with all the horror themed ones.
Shower steamers
Late night face masks
Black eyeliner.
Brown and black mascara.
Hair chalk.
Fawn makeup
Cat makeup
Black nails
Freckles
Lip scrub
Lip balm
Perfume
Hairstyles:
Natural
Pigtails
Pigtail braids
Any kinds of braids
Pony tails
Food/beverages:
Apple
Candy/caramel apples
Pumpkin spice
Cinnamon
Apple cider
Tea
Lollipops
Hot coco with whipped cream, marshmallows, and cinnamon sprinkled on top.
Halloween candy
Chocolate
Bread
Cherry pie
Apple pie
Pears
Acorn squash
Ginger
Cookies
Black charcoal anything
Activities:
Put together some cute back to school outfits. If you wear uniforms, but can have SOME level of individuality (such as makeup of accessories) find those.
Jump into fall leaves
Go trick or treating! If you feel you’re too old to do it for yourself do it for charity! There are plenty of kids who can’t get candy themselves, or who need money!
Go to a haunted house. Volunteer for a haunted house if you feel it suits you. Being petite can actually be an advantage. Creepy dolls, creepy children, being able to hide in small spaces can all be freaky!
Watch scary movies while sitting on the couch/bed while eating autumn food and wearing fuzzy socks and under a blanket. If you’re too scared by scary movies, watch Halloween specials.
Make/buy a cute/scary Halloween costume! Just make sure not to appropriate any cultures! There’s nothing cute about dressing up like someone else’s race.
Find things to be thankful for.
Volunteer at a local animal shelter. Nothing says Halloween like cats.
Go shopping at Halloween stores.
Decorate your house/apartment/room for Halloween.
Educate yourself on witchcraft and pay respects to those who made Halloween possible.
Pass out candy to trick or treaters (and if you want to, the single cuties chaperoning them).
Cover yourself in fake blood and take photos for Instagram. Just be careful! It stains clothing VERY easily.
Go on a walk through the walls.
Apple picking.
Pumpkin picking.
Carving a jack o lantern.
Reading. Especially with a cup of tea.
Try your hand at archery
Other Objects:
Candles
Mugs
Small pillows
Leaves
Pine cones
Blankets
Feathers
Chalk
Black roses

SOL AU: Halloween
Decided to work on a Halloween Drabble with my SOL AU.
Enjoy!!!
It was the night of October 30th; the toons were excited for the best holiday of all! Halloween! A day where kids or anyone can dress up and have a good’ol time. Bendy, Boris and Alice were just adding the last bit of details into their costume.
Boris decided to go as a ghost, but as he cut eyeholes to see, he also cut holes for his ears to fit through.
Alice wanted to go as a dancer, she wanted to be a Hula Dancer or a Flapper, but she couldn’t decide which one to be. Linda then gave her a better idea and made her go as a 50’s girl, with a poodle skirt and everything even roller skates, which she was able to learn in one month.
Bendy wanted to go in his demon form for Halloween, but Henry decided against it as it was too risky or would scare of the neighbors. So, Bendy got the idea to be a little vampire. Bendy smirked putting on his fake fangs.
“Boo!” Bendy shouted scaring Alice almost ripping her dress.
The angel glared, pulling Bendy’s bowtie. “That wasn’t funny! You almost made me rip the skirt!” Alice yelled.
Bendy chuckled despite being yelled, he got Alice good. Alice growled not taking this scare as a joke. Bendy stopped chuckling and smiled nervously at the angel. Alice pushed Bendy lightly away and went back to fixing her costume.
The toons looked up seeing Henry come through the front door with grocery bags filled with candy. Bendy and Boris’s eyes sparkled, their jaws dropped open seeing lollipops, chocolate bars, bubble gum and gummy candies in the bag. Henry looked at the two toons with a smile, “I know you guys are excited, but remember these are for your friends.” He reminded them.
Boris whipped his mouth and smiled, “I know, but look at all this delicious candy!” He exclaimed.
Henry chuckled and pets the wolf on the head, “You’ll be getting a ton of candy this year. This neighborhood is well known giving kids a ton of candy.”
“How much?” Bendy asked.
“So much you would need a second bag to get another load!”
Bendy and Boris smiled at each other. Despite him being a demon, Bendy thought he was in candy heaven. All the candy he and Boris are going to receive while they trick or treat.
Alice scoffed, “Well I’ll be attending a Halloween party with Danni and our friends over at Eric’s house! And I’m excited because it’s my first party!” She squealed.
Henry smiled he knew Alice being in high school she couldn’t attend trick or treating with Bendy and Boris, but seeing her happy going to a party made it all worth while. From what he remembered, Joey never let her join any of his parties that were just simple dinner parties. However, Henry was different he would allow the angel to go to a party. However, there were some rules she had to follow such as curfew.
Linda came in checking up how the toons were with their costumes, “How’s the costume making guys?” She asked.
“Great!” The toons replied. “I’m done!” Boris added. He put on his ghost costume and his two ears popped up from the costume. Everyone giggled seeing the wolf’s ears appear in the costume.
Bendy decided to put on his vampire cape and fangs jumping on the couch, “rawr!” He growled. Alice, Linda and Henry looked at each other knowing the costume is cute rather then scary. “Rawr!” Bendy growled again. He frowned seeing he can’t scare anyone.
“Your too cute in that costume, Bendy.” Henry mentioned. Bendy blushed in embarrassment and turned away from his father.
Linda looked at Alice, “What about your costume, Alice?” She asked.
Alice smiled and showed her costume, “Here it is! I’m almost done! I just need to add the poodle. Though I feel something is missing.” She explained. The angel faced the television screen to look at her reflection.
Linda stood behind her daughter putting her hands on her shoulders, “If its hair problems. I got that all under control.” Linda specified. The angel smiled and hugged her mother.
“Alright,” The toons looked at Henry, “It’s getting late, who wants some burgers for dinner?” He asked.
“Me! Me!” Boris and Bendy yelled running to the kitchen. “I’ll help make the burgers!” Boris yelled.
“I’ll get the fries!” Bendy yelled.
Henry, Linda and Alice chuckled walking to the kitchen to eat dinner.
The next morning was Halloween day, Bendy was getting impatient since Trick or Treat wasn’t till sundown and spent every hour watching out the window waiting to see his friends come out of their houses so they can start getting candy. Bendy groaned seeing Henry pass by putting a bowl of candy near the door.
“Don’t worry Bendy you got a few hours left before trick or treating.” Henry said passing by to the kitchen. Bendy crossed his arms and decided to walk around the house to see what everyone is doing to pass the time. He was going to go to his room and pull out a comic book, but,
“BOOF!”
Bendy screamed falling on the floor, “BORIS!” Bendy yelled.
Boris removed the sheet and smiled, “Sorry, Bendy I couldn’t help it.” Bendy glared, getting up and dusting himself off to get his comic book and leave. Before he went downstairs he checked in the bathroom to see Alice getting her hair done by Linda. The ink demon couldn’t help, but smile seeing the angel getting papered.
The comic book seemed to help, as by the time Bendy was done reading Henry called him up to put on his vampire costume. The demon was filled with joy as he quickly grabbed his fangs and vampire cape. He put them on and ran downstairs to meet up with Boris and Alice.
“I’m ready!” Bendy yelled. Bendy smiled seeing Alice’s hair all tied up into a bun with some strands of hair curled at the bottom. “Wow! Alice you look amazing!”
Alice giggled, “Thanks!”
Though Bendy’s compliment turned into a restaurant order, “Also while you’re at the party, get me a cherry cola, a cheeseburger, extra fries, and a sundae.”
Alice glared and smacked Bendy over the head. Alice heard a car horn beeping and went outside. Alice smiled seeing her friend Danni in a werewolf costume. “Angel! Come on, the party will be starting soon!” She yelled.
“Okay! I’m heading out!” Alice hugged Henry and Linda, and the later hugged back.
“Okay, well see you at 10.” Henry said. Alice smiled and ran to Danni’s car and the two drove off to the party.
After another hour passed, Bendy’s friends came outside and ran to Henry’s house first.
DING DONG
Henry opened the door seeing the kids in their costumes and smiling, “Trick or Treat!” They yelled. Henry smiled and gave the kids their candy.
“Boris! Bendy! The kids are here!” Henry yelled. Bendy and Boris ran downstairs and smiled seeing their friends in costumes.
Marie was dressed up as a white cat; Tommy was dressed in a werewolf costume like Alice’s friend Danni, Connie was Dorothy from Wizard of OZ, and her brother Cody played Dorothy’s dog Toto. Michael was an evil scientist, and Lindsey was dressed as the tooth fairy.
“Wow! Your costumes look great!” Boris exclaimed.
“Thank you!” The kids replied.
“Alright, Boris your in charge, you kids have fun, and Bendy,” The former animator pulled Bendy aside, “no tricks, okay!”
Bendy nodded. Henry chuckled and let the little demon go with his friends trick or treating.
Bendy and his friends went next door first they knocked on the door and yelled, “Trick or Treat!” The neighbor, Mrs. Tanner gave the kids candy for their costumes. As they left the house Cody looked at his bag disappointed.
“What’s wrong Cody?” Michael asked.
Cody dug what he got out of his bag and pulled out a rock. “I got a rock.”
Connie pat her twin’s back to comfort him, “Don’t worry you’ll get candy at the next house!” She exclaimed with confidence.
The toons and kids went to house to house getting candy, but poor little Cody got rocks, dog treats, and candy corn. Though he got cheering up from his sister and friends saying they’ll share their candy with him. That made Cody feel a lot better. The kids went to a few more houses and we’re in surprise with the candy they got. All the kids got candy almost to the top of their bags.
“Look at all this candy!” Lindsey exclaimed.
“I’m not going to have breakfast for about a week!” Michael added.
Boris looked at his friends, “So one more house? Or we head back to Henry’s?”
The kids all looked at each other, and around the neighborhood, the much older kids were still going door to door, but the younger kids were calling it quits for the night and were heading home. The neighbors still had their lights on except for a few, but the kids decided to check at one last house.
The kids walked up to the house and knocked on the door. Though there was no response. Bendy knocked on the door, but harder. Then Boris’s ear twitched hearing something. “I hear something.” He whispered. Boris walked up to the door and growled hearing familiar voices through the other side.
On the other side of the door it was Tommy’s brother and his friends, snickering and laughing at their prank. “Jonathon this prank is going to be priceless!”
Jonathon chuckled, “my brother and his friends will be so scared they’ll drop their candy bags for us!” He laughed. The boys heard another knock knowing it was their time to shine. “Alright boys, ready?”
John’s friends snickered putting their monster masks on. They quickly opened the door only to freeze at a giant inky figured in front of them. Bendy went into his ink demon form and was breathing heavily in front of them.
Bendy snarled at them scaring Jonathon and his friends, making one of them wet their pants in the processes. They quickly closed the door. Once they were gone the kids laughed seeing Michael’s brother being scared.
“He SO deserved it!” Michael said.
Bendy went back to his small form and laughed, “yep! They had it coming for SO long.”
“Alright, let’s get back to Henry’s house. I heard there is a Scooby Doo marathon soon and we get to go eating popcorn and candy!” Boris explained.
The kids cheered and ran back to Henry’s house for the marathon. When they got home, Bendy and Boris were surprised to see Alice home. “Alice! Your home early?” Bendy asked.
Alice chuckled, “yeah.” Though she said it in disappointment. “As me and Danni partied, some guys thought of bringing alcohol, and…” she trailed off not wanting to explain more as kids were here, “things. Got crazy.”
“I see. My mommy says alcohol is icky.” Marie said in disgust. Alice chuckled making her feel better.
“It smelled bad too.” Alice added.
The kids laughed more. Linda came in with bowls of popcorn and put them on the table for the kids. Though the kids decide to enjoy their candy as well as they spent their Halloween watching Scooby doo and eating popcorn and candy.

Lovecraft-inspired, apocalyptic vein that he would continue to mine in films like The Thing (1982) and Prince of Darkness  (1987), THE FOG depicts the seaside California town of Antonio Bay in the grips of an ancient curse and a creeping mist. Drenched in malevolent atmosphere and packing an ensemble cast.

Support For Impeachment At Record High
Support For Impeachment At Record High
PPP’s newest national poll finds a record level of support for impeaching Donald Trump. 49% of voters support impeaching him, to 41% who are opposed to doing so. This marks the 6th month in a row we’ve found a plurality of voters in favor of impeaching Trump, and it’s the closest we’ve found to a majority.
Trump’s approval rating has declined by a net 7 points in the last month. In September we found him at a -11 spread with 42% of voters approving of him to 53% who disapproved. Now he’s at -18 with 38% of voters approving of him to 56% who disapprove.
Trump claimed last week that he had accomplished more in 9 months than any President in American History, but only 25% of voters believe that claim to 66% who do not, although it’s a notable measure of the Trump cult’ that 55% of those who voted for him do believe he’s the most accomplished to 32% who disagree. Voters actually put his first 9 months in a very different historical context- 49% already say they think he’s the worst President in American History, to 43% who dispute that notion. By a 54/40 margin voters wish Barack Obama was still President instead of Trump, and by a 48/42 spread they wish Hillary Clinton was in the White House rather than Trump.
Trump fares poorly on a number of metrics we tested in the poll. Only 37% of voters think he’s honest, to 56% who say he’s not. In fact a 52% majority come right out and say they think Trump is a liar, to 41% who disagree with that characterization. There are continued transparency concerns, with 60% of voters thinking he needs to release his tax returns to just 32% who don’t think it’s necessary for him to. And only 31% of voters think Trump has delivered on the core promise of his campaign to ‘Make America Great Again,’ to 60% who say he’s failed on that front.
Trump is already in a very bad position when it comes to hypothetical match ups for reelection in 2020. He trails Joe Biden by 18 at 56/38, Bernie Sanders by 15 at 53/38, Cory Booker by 11 at 49/38, Elizabeth Warren by 10 at 50/40, Kirsten Gillibrand by 10 at 48/38, Kamala Harris by 6 at 45/39, and Frederica Wilson by 3 at 42/39. While the support level for the possible Democrats fluctuates likely based on name recognition Trump polls consistently in the 38-40% range no matter who he’s pitted against. It’s also interesting that the hierarchy of Democratic performance goes white men->black man->white women->women of color.
Attempts by Trump world, Fox News, and other affiliated interests to try to turn the Russia news back onto Hillary Clinton have had some effect. A month ago we found that among Trump voters 41% thought Russia wanted Clinton to win the election last year, to 29% who thought it wanted Trump to win. Now that’s up to 56% who think Russia wanted Clinton to win and just 18% who grant that it wanted Trump to win.
That’s part of a general pattern when it comes to Trump voters and the Russia story. Only 7% believe that members of Trump’s campaign team worked in association with Russia to help him win the election, to 83% who don’t think that happened. And even if collusion is proven they don’t care- just 11% think Trump should resign if that’s the case to 79% who believe he should remain in office. 75% dismiss the entire Russia story as ‘fake news,’ to 13% who disagree with that assessment. This poll was conducted mostly after the news that indictments were coming was out, but before the actual indictments were released.
The Trump base is reflexively lining up behind him on Russia issues. The issues that are actually getting relatively tepid support from his base and causing his numbers to go into the ground are things like tax reform and health care. Just 29% of voters support the Congressional Republicans’ tax plan to 49% who are opposed to it, and even among Trump voters there’s just 61% support. 53% of voters think it will mostly help the rich to 28% who believe middle income families will be the biggest beneficiaries, and 7% who think it will be low income families.
Trump and Republicans do similarly poorly when it comes to their efforts on health care. 51% of voters now support the Affordable Care Act to just 33% who oppose it, reflecting its increased popularity this year in the wake of efforts to repeal it. Even among Trump voters there is now only 61% opposition to the ACA. Only 32% of voters think the best path forward on health care is repeal of the ACA, to 61% who think it should be kept with fixes made to it as necessary.
Another issue where Congressional Republicans could possibly run afoul of voters is the Iran deal. By a 19 point margin voters say they’d be less likely to vote for a member of Congress who voted to take action that could cause the collapse of the deal- 45% would be less likely to vote for such a person to 26% who would be more likely to.
We continue to find Democrats with a double digit lead on the generic Congressional ballot, 50-40. The unpopularity of things like the Republican tax plan are helping to drive that advantage- by a 15 point margin voters say they’re less likely to vote for a member of Congress next year who supported the plan.
Congress as a whole stands at a 9/77 approval rating with Mitch McConnell at 11/68 and Paul Ryan at 22/60 not faring a whole lot better individually. They’ve both managed to be unpopular with Trump voters (13/65 for McConnell and 34/44 for Ryan) and Clinton voters (6/76 for McConnell and 9/78 for Ryan) alike.
Other notes from our national poll:
-Trump’s position with Republicans has weakened some from a month ago as well. He leads a generic Republican for the nomination next time by 21 points at 57/36. In September it was 34 points at 61/27. He leads Mike Pence by 25 at 53/28, Ted Cruz by 30 at 57/27, and John Kasich by 42 at 66/24. On our last poll he was up 38 on Pence at 59/21, 53 on Cruz at 68/15, and 50 on Kasich at 68/18. We also tested Jeff Flake for the first time this month, but Trump has the widest lead over him by 56 points at 70/14.
-Trump has tried to make the media his new foil over the course of the year without Hillary Clinton to kick around anymore (or at least as much) but he’s not succeeding. Voters trust each of the 6 media outlets Trump has attacked the most by 15-18 points more than Trump when pitted against each other. It’s an 18 point edge for each of NBC, ABC, and CBS (54/36), 17 for the New York Times (54/37), and 15 each for CNN and the Washington Post (52/37):
Which do you trust more:
Donald Trump or…
Winner
ABCABC, 54/36
CBSCBS, 54/36
NBCNBC, 54/36
New York TimesNew York Times, 54/37
CNNCNN, 52/37
Washington PostWashington Post, 52/37
-89% of voters think the US government should provide hurricane relief to Puerto Rico, to only 6% who are opposed. In fact 36% think Puerto Rico should be the main focus of disaster recovery aid among the three places most hard hit by recent storms to 16% for Texas and 9% for Florida. Polling just after Hurricane Maria found that many Americans did not know that Puerto Ricans were American citizens, but now 77% consider Puerto Ricans to be American citizens to only 16% who disagree. Clinton voters consider Puerto Ricans to be American citizens 91/5, while Trump voters do so just 61/31.
-A rare thing where Trump may antagonize his base is bragging about his Ivy League education. Overall 40% of voters view Ivy League schools favorably to 32% with a negative opinion. There’s a significant political divide on them with Clinton voters viewing them favorably 52/15, while Trump voters see them negatively 28/51.
And finally we polled on some important Halloween issues:
-Americans give Candy Corn a 53/28 favorability rating. Trump voters (62/19) are more excited about it than Clinton voters (47/35).
-Americans are sort of over the Pumpkin Spice craze- Pumpkin Spice lattes get a 25/49 favorability rating with disdain for them carrying across party lines.
-48% of voters think it’s appropriate to dress up as someone from a different racial background, to 26% who think it’s inappropriate. Trump voters think it’s acceptable by a 58/18 spread, while Clinton voters are evenly divided on it (36/36).
-Finally we tested Donald Trump against a litany of Halloween related things and asked voters which they thought was scarier between Trump and the items. Voters think Trump is scarier than ghosts (49/40), vampires (48/40), mummies (also 48/40), witches (49/42), zombies (46/43), and werewolves (45/44). People aren’t messing around with the devil though- they say he is scarier than Trump by a 51/31 spread:
Which do you think is scarier:
Donald Trump or…
And the scarier one is…
