Voilet Jocque's round
(half a round, actually, because she moved out of her parents' house in the middle of winter)
There was lots of flirting, woohooing and working out, and literally nothing else. She's a Popularity/Romance sim, so all she ever wants to do is go out and meet someone.
Violet's lifetime want is to "Earn $10,000 as Personal Fitness Trainer" from this amazing mod by Lamare.
So she spends most of her time working at a small local gym. Natasha Una takes boxing lessons from her. Although later I discovered that sim gets paid only for training other sims on the machines, but not on the punching bag. I wonder if there is a fix for this.
She's not very professional in her job…She's flirting with pretty much every visitor. Sometimes it really pays off. This townie probably admired Violet's good fashion taste in sportswear, so now Violet has a discount on furniture, nice! The discount was the only thing she ever got from this girl, they didn't have much chemistry.
But this townie, on the other hand, was interested in something more. Yes, I will always call townies just "this townie" because I never remember their names.
And Sergeant Snarly was in the gym for some reason…kinda creepy. He's probably spying for General Buzz.
The gym date went great, so Violet invited the guy over. They didn't waste any time.
He stayed for a romantic dinner. Violet's culinary skills aren't that impressive, but sandwiches are better than nothing. At least they can't be burnt.
The next day back at the gym, looking for another victim romantic interest.
Unfortunately for Violet, the day was boring, all work and no fun.
In the evening she had to return home alone. She felt lonely, so she called her highschool sweetheart, Carmen. I hope one day Violet wants to settle down with Carmen, I like them together.
But for now, Violet is definitely not thinking of settling down with anyone.
Vidcund seems to be really popular with ladies, who would've thought.
Not in front of a child! They have no shame. I like how everyone is dressed for different weather on this picture, it's so sims honestly.
And that's it. As always with my gameplay, very boring, no drama, I just go around fulfilling everyone's wishes.

Loki and Circe start the day looking through the telescope, and enjoying the beginning of the summer season.
Nervous starts with the breakfast of champions - a hot dog.
He decided today's the day. While his captors are busy, he's going to finally sneak out. And so, by the advice of Timothy Riley, he asks Pascal out. To Downtown. To a restaurant called the FM. He isn't sure what FM stands for, but it sounds fun.
I'll be honest, I kind of forgot that Pascal was pregnant. Also, I didn't mean to get a default replacement of his icon paternity clothes... maybe the Uberhood reset them? He won't have them long anyway, so it doesn't matter.
The first thing Nervous does when getting to the restaurant is judge the light fixtures. Maybe they're too bright for his basement-dwelling eyes.
Nervous gets up the courage to ask for a table from this business elf.
Sat inexplixably at a four-person table, Pascal and Nervous enjoy the chef's choice meal. Which for Nervous is an omelette... hm...
After dinner the two engage in some karaoke. At first, Nervous isn't super confident - but he soon gets into it.
UNFORTUNATELY, I CAN'T FUCKING HEAR THEM BECAUSE THIS IDIOT IS SINGING LOUD AS FUCK IN THE OTHER ROOM.
Suddenly though, in the middle of karaoke, Pascal just... left. Saying that he wasn't in a good mood. This left Nervous alone to pay for the bill himself, and ride the taxi home. He doesn't understand why Pascal left so suddenly, and he won't answer his calls...

Tank knew, Violet Jocque was one of the easier to get girls in school. She was four years younger than him, so it was probably unethical to take advantage of her, but he wanted to prove his siblings, that he could also get one of the girls. Not that he had seen Ripp make out with any girl at school at all. But he was always surrounded by a flock of pretty girls, giggling and touching his forearm. Tank also wanted that attention. He was happy when Violet agreed to come home with him. Strangetown was a pretty long bus drive from Desiderata Valley, where Violet lived, away. But here he was, finally snatching that very first kiss from a cute girl!
Buck: Who was that pretty girl? Dad saw you two too.
Tank didn't say anything. But he was pleased, the General had seen them,

Ajay Loner - Lola Curious round
where no one is faithful
They live together but are not in a committed relationship. Neither of them ever rolled a want to get engaged, and it seems like they are exploring their options, staying together just out of convenience.
Lola had a little fling with a townie (whose name I don't remember as per usual), but she started developing feelings.
Ajay is secondary pleasure, so he goes on a lot of dates.
with Sharon Wirth...
with Jenny Smith...
with Violet Jocque... whose hair I deleted so it got replaced with something that doesn't suit her at all
I took this screenshot when they were in the park and it has nothing to do with the current household, but I just think it's funny.
Violet brought Ajay a gift, how thoughtful of her!
It's a freaking hot tub! Nice one, Violet.
Uh-oh
---------------------------------------------
I don't know what happened here.
I began to think that maybe they would have a wholesome polyamorous family
But I was wrong.
Lola moved out that same day. She moved to this little uninspired house where her sister used to live before she got mortgage.
Ajay wasn't too sad though. I don't know what should I do with them. Move them together so they can raise their baby? I feel like both of them like having their own space.
The end. Thanks for being here. I still have a bunch of old screenshots but I'm too lazy to edit them all at once.

The Top 3 Families Of My Uberhood
@sims2forever sent me a question a while ago about who my top 3 Uberhood families are. I had an answer to that question finished in my drafts. However when I tried to edit it, I accidentally deleted the draft and thus also the question. <.< 1. The Jocques from Desiderata Valley
I don't know what it is exactly but I always loved Sophia Jocque. She's living rent free in my head, so much in fact that someday I made a protein shake after my workout and texted my boyfriend saying "feeling very Sophia Jocque today" adding a pic of me with my portein shake. 😂 Especially since they had their second child, Mike, the Jocques are a lot of fun to play and although I made some adjustments here and there I really like their house. They're this typical 2000s suburban family. Maybe they remind me of better times and that's why I enjoy playing them so much.
2. The Langeraks from Pleasantview
Kaylynn and her daughter Wendy. I just love this duo. I love how independent Kaylynn is now. She had a lot of bad luck and made a lot of mistakes but I feel like her life really began and turned around when her daughter Wendy was born. She worked hard and earned everything herself. She gained confidence and is a perfect example for her daughter. They have a very strong bond and it's always a joy to play with them.
3. The Ottomas' from Riverblossom Hills
In general I prefer bigger households more compared to smaller ones and it's just never boring over at the Ottomas'. In my game Peter Ottomas had an affair with Stella Roth and the family is shattered because of that. It was Sharla Ottomas' birthday party when Peter decided to kiss Stella right in front of everybody. The children were sad, Samantha was devastated and Dora was asleep. Samantha tried so hard to forgive her husband and to save their marriage but he vehemently refuses to show any kind of remorse. Nobody understands what's going on with him. Samantha is very close to Dora, Peter's mother, and made a decision to divorce Peter as soon as Dora passes away. The kids are getting older and David Ottomas recently got engaged to Jules O'Mackey. Etc. etc. etc. They're a challenge but so much fun.
I'll stop here. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner @sims2forever and thanks for the question! 🙏🏼

Currently working to set up my Ubermega Test of Time. It helps that I already had an Ancient/Classical downloads folder prepared, but it does NOT help and in fact hurts that I used the method of “shove several old downloads folders together and then delete whatever doesn’t fit the theme”, because that leaves me with WAY too much junk. Especially if I am going to have multiple societies advancing at different rates, potentially getting very far ahead—I need to keep this downloads folder SMALL so I have room to add some stuff from later eras! So that’s been a little project. I cleared a fair amount out, but still have tons more. I’ll probably just bite the bullet and delete all alphabet soup from this downloads folder—most of it is gonna just be medieval anyway! I’ll check with DDO first, and see if it will help me find and eliminate orphans. I will probably need to get rid of a lot of medieval stuff that I once thought maybe might work in the Classical era, too.
Other than that, it’s going well. I gutted Belladonna Cove, Desiderata Valley, Pleasantview, and started Bluewater Village but got a crash so I decided I was done. The rules I came up a while back with involve everyone starting out living on the same lot, for the community aspect, but I quickly decided that won’t work for these premade hoods that start with 20-25 sims. So I consolidated families a bit and combined a few households, but am leaving them mostly in separate camps of the standard 8 sims or less. For the first era, my sims will only be allowed to plant seeds they dig up, and are not allowed to make more seeds from the harvest—they are hunter-gatherers just learning the concept of agriculture—but for each gardening badge the sims of one culture earn, they get one random Sun&Moon crop that can be planted in the next era, and unlocking a number of those is one of the two achievements to advance from a hunter-gatherer band to a horticultural tribe. I also have some plans to assign climates to each subhood and limit crops based on the climate, but I will have to make sure it’s balanced with the unlocking rule.
I’m also planning to play very Maxis-Match, with only Maxis-made supernaturals (well, and a Multi-PT mod so that alien descendants have a little more diversity and a less insane family tree, and keeping hereditary supernaturalism). So in this world, the Summerdreams will just have their elf ears and be normal sims. I MIGHT start the Cordial sisters as witches right off the bat, but I haven’t decided. I also am debating whether to rope the Picasos into Desiderata Valley and make Jessica and Sophia Jocque be sisters. DV really does need a couple more sims.
Currently, my plan is to have all the excess bin sims and college sims be a pool for when I need new sims—a subhood has run out of marriage options, some ROS event I haven’t figured out yet brings in a new family, or a Roman Empire needs some slaves to bring back from random conquest. That is, the bin sims that are not already attached to a particular hood. The Burbs are going in Pleasantview, all the Capps are going in Veronaville, etc., but the Ottomases and the Newsons might be in trouble. I’m also going to try to keep each subhood fairly isolated through Band and Tribe stages, and start outside communication in the Chiefdom stage. (Oh, I am splitting the Ancient aka the Neanderthal era into three mini-eras, Band, Tribe, and Chiefdom, which segues more neatly into the Ancient/Roman era.) I think the ideal scenario is for the society that first developed into the Classical era to conquer the other subhoods, only for barbarian invaders from the last unconquered subhood or, possibly, from the sim pool, to take advantage of the empire’s crumbling decadence to bring it down—but that doesn’t leave a lot of room for a New World to be colonized down in the Renaissance. If I can swing the former, then the remains of the sim pool could be used to create the New World at the beginning of the Renaissance. Maybe I’ll save the college sims for that? Obviously I still have a lot to think through—luckily I have been tinkering with my own ideas for Test of Time variant rules for years, it’s just a matter of figuring out what appeals to me to actually play, and paring down a lot of wild ideas into one system.
This should not take terribly long to set up, since I’m not remodeling any lots. I just need to pare down the downloads folder a bit more, finish gutting each subhood and sticking the sims in lots, give them all Ancient makeovers and traits, set up each lot—really not planning complex builds just yet, they will start with tents and hammocks—and throw together some Hunting Grounds and Water Hole type lots. Easy peasy.

Desiderata Valley Rotation: Jocque Family
Round 2 of the Jocque family!
Marcel and Sophia had a baby! Her name is Amber. I thought Amber would be a cute color name since her sister is named Violet. Speaking of Violet has taken an interest in soccer.
Amber is the only new addition to the family, they have also adopted Grace, who is a lot to handle. I made a reddit post showing how much chaos she causes lol.
Next family is the Mole and Una :)

Sharon Wirth household
Single Romance sims one after another.
Sharon has three bolts with Elizabeth Aspir. She doesn't care if it's wrong, she wants to be more than just good friends, even if it makes her a homewrecker.
In the morning, Sharon returned home after clubbing to witness this scene. I swear, in this neighborhood only Circe and Loki Beakers are stealing everyone's newspapers. Maybe they need it for a secret science project or something, or maybe they're the biggest assholes around.
A couple of days later, Sharon and Elizabeth ran into each other in the coffee shop. And the seduction continued.
Finally, they're more than just friends. The best friends!
Marital infidelity aside, Chloe and Gotthart Curious were also at the coffee shop and they had a quality family time. This the first time I see Chloe autonomously giving her son any attention.
Later that evening, Sharon asked Elizabeth Aspir on a proper first date. Then she suddenly rolled this want.
I decided to lock it in only if it stays for a while, but it almost immediately changed to something usual, like to woohoo with 3 sims.
The date went well.
And then I made a mistake. Sharon wanted to throw a party. She invited all her friends. I thought it would be fun to buy a hacked "alcoholic" beer to make party a little crazier. What I didn't think about was that most of Sharon's friends were pregnant… I don't have any mods for miscarriage, so it's technically completely safe. It just looks super weird, lol.
Yeah...I have nothing to add to this.
Sharon had a little too much beer.
Ajay Loner stayed true to his last name and spent the party sitting alone in the kitchen, drinking juice. ...or whatever these three pixels are. I really need to install some default replacements for those fugly maxis cans.
Later that night, Elizabeth brought a gift for the nice date. This is the only reason why I love Romance sims. They don't even have to try, they get expensive gifts and promotions for "good reputation." My Romance sims usually don't learn any skills throughout their lives, yet almost always succeed.
The gift was just in time. Sharon had about 200 simoleons to her name.
Sharon went to the Strangetown community swimming pool, and there she was, another victim of Lucy Mole's clown beauty salon.
Terrifying.
There was Amy, another Sharon's love interest. They got so carried away that didn't even notice when poor Sophia Jocque was struck by lightning.
Amy was also grateful for the amazing date. With this money, Sharon will be able to properly furnish her living room.
And that's it.
From time to time, Sharon rolls wants to marry both Amy and Elizabeth, despite having Romance/Popularity aspirations. Strange. I want her and Elizabeth to be together, but Elizabeth has a great relationship with her husband, so idk…

We move onwards to the Bell family of Desiderata Valley, another family I rarely play. Their description is this: "The Bell family is doing wonderfully well, but will Hannah's sister moving in cause a critical disturbance?"
Hannah, Issac (his name had to have been misspelled by the devs, right? we're keeping it but still), and Daniel, all wanted to adopt a pet. So Day One the Bell family welcomes a new puppy into their home - Clara.
My default replacement gave Sharon a bright green shirt, but honestly as a dancer, I feel like it's a vibe.
Also, Marcel Jocque was in the Welcome Wagon. Why is he following me everywhere???
