They are immediately the cutest fucking people when together. So soft, so giggly.

I know it’s part of their social culture, but they drink a lot. Maybe it’s because I don’t drink, but dang.

“Jungkook is currently doing his skincare.” They add to the screen after panning away for scenery, yet leaving the sounds of *slap slap slap*😭

Jungkook cycling through multiple pairs of sunglasses, and Jimin swanning in and picking the first pair is peak! They’re so similar I yet so different, lol.

Another thing I’m sure is part of their culture, is the way they pay for stuff, but I find it interesting still that we’ve seen Jimin buy almost everything during their trips, since as far as we know they have pretty lax hierarchy rules between the two of them normally.

End of the episode. It was fun. Felt like the start of a holiday special. And I didn’t mention it up top, because I decided to “live blog” thoughts like ten minutes in or whatever, but Jungkook softly and sweetly saying he wanted to come back to Japan because it reminded him of their first trip together… SOBBING! He’s such a sentimental guy, with an equally as sentimental guy on his arm.

They truly do vibe so well, and I understand with each passing episode why them enlisting together was a non-choice choice. They click. Like they said themselves, they’re one person split into two bodies, and it’s clear as day they thrive off of being around one another.

Not to get too sappy either, but it’s insane they feel that way about their bond and dynamic, on top of all the things that already just so happened to bring them together. Not just born in the same country, but same city. Auditioned for the same music group. Actually made it into the same group… they were destined to meet, and even they feel that way. All that’s missing is them being the same age, and they’d be the same person. That’s an insane thing to say, but really tells you how deeply they value their connection.

I was going through this particular post and felt emotional...

Jm really calls jk baby isn't it?? We saw in the show too...things are slowly falling back to places just like many had doubts like why would the two bandmates supposed friends or the worst "not good mates, hate eachother so much to breathein the same place" travel to countries shooting a show in their last moment of freedom instead of laying happily beside their supposed gf or bf right.

Just read it again and ok then, what can I say, I am impressed. Quite the talented writer whoever wrote that one.😜

But seriously, am I a fortune teller or what? This was way before we even dreamt of a Jikook travel show giving us 9 hours more or less of authentic Jikook interactions. I'm not going to say uncensored, because there was clearly some censorship going on, at times on their part (awareness of cameras) and at times from the editors. But man, even with all of that, now that we are on the other side of this show you need to be really daft not to see they are telling us they are a couple. And if the show didn't convince us, well, this HAD to:

You weren't surprised, right?

Only surprise was that once again it was allowed in.

But then again, purposefully so.

I know many are calling it a soft launch and well maybe you can call it that. But I would rather not label it. I will just sit here and enjoy what they have given us, which is so so much.

In this show we basically got first and foremost JM and JK telling us and showing us that they are, without a doubt, the closest duo in the group of 7. This comes on the tail of a couple of years where oh so many were claiming and reveling in what they thought was an apparent distance between the two. Apparent to those that for some reason think that these young superstars live their private lives for us to fully see. I guess (more so hope) that those ideas were laid to rest. And that for once and for all people finally realize that the two actually have a private life that we are not fully aware of. That the two spend time together even if we don't hear about it. That the two were and still are super close - intimately close.

And that takes me to my next point. It's not that the show revealed something that we weren't aware of when it comes to the level of intimacy between the two of them. It's not that they hadn't told us all of this over the years. It's that people were unwilling to hear it or see it and with the show we got to see it, 9 hours worth of it. Them on their own and them with their good friend that insisted on joining and was for most part allowing them to do their own thing. Not only did Tae's presence not disprove Jikook's closeness and intimacy (something many were hoping for), it actually highlighted it. It highlighted just how different, how much MORE JM and JK are with each other as opposed to either of them with Tae. Even when the three were spending time together (and I say even because much of the time Tae just left them to do their own thing or even if he was with them).

So yes, this was them allowing us to see just a little bit more of THEM. Together. The playfulness, the chemistry (again, something we were "warned" about in the promos - their known chemistry...), the way they just flow with each other, JK clearly being JM's cook (we get that in words and actions) and so much more.

I am not a fortuneteller and as such I can only write in hopes and wishes. I do hope and wish that this is them setting a new reality for the fandom. Yes the fandom should have caught on by now just how close they are. They basically never hid it, even if at times they pulled back with what we were shown (for many many reasons, some personal some towing the company line). But I am really hoping that post AYS Jikook will indeed be louder in the sense that they will allow us to continue and see THEM without the pullback we got at times. Because Army will accept THEM and embrace THEM. That the Jikook we get post military will be able to mention one another and it will be a new normal, not an eyebrow raising event. That JK won't have to say he'll get his toiletries and go over to shower at JM's because they will be living together in JK's new mansion. That they wouldn't have to hide it because people would finally accept them for who they are and who they love.

Some things I noticed from these last episodes...

1.- how come no one is talking about their earrings!!!! Jungkook has all his earrings except the one on his right or left lobe (from what I remember) he has silver thick hoop. When I was wondering where it went BAM! Jimin appears with the exact same one on just one lobe !! Wtf that is so cute!! 😍 sharing their earrings like they can't afford their own ones (company can also provide them)

2.- Jk treats jm very differently compared to the rest of team, staff and even his friends, you have to be blind not too see that because he is eyes, attention, focus is always on him, subtle but there!

The whole "chopstick" situation, why was jk mad at jm, tae is who started the argument over the ham, it should have been directed at him right? If that was me I would have gone off at my "friend" who doubted my knowledge in the first place, but I would have lost my shit if my "partner" also doubted me and sided with the one against me, which is what I can see on jk behaviour, he was sulking (he wasn't mad/angry etc) and wanted Jm to apologise for hurting his feelings lmao very childish indeed! But did he require the same apology from tae? None that I could see, tbh I don't think he care that he was right over tae, he cared that Jm was not agreeing with him

3.- JM is not a "baby" yes his body is small compared to Jk but don't let that fool you, the one in control is JM, he acts weak because he feeds off JK reactions, he likes when JK shows confident but he also likes to test him, hence the cuts on the episodes, JM provokes and when Jk responds bam scene cut, JM always leads Jk like a puppy and he knows it, after the towel fight Jm yelled out "stay" and puppy JK did lmao don't let the piercings and tattoos fool you, .. when they were in the pool the first time, jm came close slowly to him, and Jk had to tell him the pool was see-through and Bam scene cut like wtf? I think Jk had flashbacks 😂 anyone remember the footsies under the table ?... anyways that's my 2 cents..

3.- they love each other very much, and they both love tae very much too 💜

I have said this before, even if in the future they end up not with each other and married to women, I would still believe that right now and in the past they had something special, and I will be playing the kwill song out loud on that day to my self.

Jm’s 2021 Birthday Live

I’ve recently seen a couple of posts on jm’s birthday live from 2021 pop up on my tl. This live has also seemingly sparked some general discussion on 2021 jkk.

So, I’m gonna share my own experience🫶🏽

I remember watching this live in real-time. It started off with typical Jimin antics (which was literally just him exisiting and being the most adorable being on earth). It was his first solo live in a while so, understandably, he was feeling a little bit awkward. Nevertheless, he talked with us, answering some comments, reading birthday wishes and sharing some recent updates. It went on like this for a couple of minutes until he apparently couldn’t take the silence anymore😭

About 10 minutes in, he suddenly goes:

“I’m gonna call someone to guest on this live with me, kay?”

AND THEN, I find myself watching, absolutely stunned, as the man ducks out of frame and crawls (??) under the table to make his call.

At this point, we were just watching the abandoned wheely chair while jm is talking in the softest, most baby tone to whoever is on the other end of the line. I really wanna emphasise his tone cause I’d never heard him talk like that before. Anyways, he continues asking that person to join him on the live and I remember thinking ‘hah it’s probably jk’🤪 (cause literally who else does he speak to like that?)

Jm finally emerges from the depths of the table, asking the other person if he can put him on speaker. Of course, turns out it was jk.

So, jk abandons his work out session with the bros to come keep jm company on his live (someone did the maths💀 and apparently he travelled 15 storeys or something from the hybe gym to get to jm in under 2 minutes). Bro dropped everything as soon as that phone call ended.

(Honestly, I would too if jm was asking so sweetly.)

Jk shows up and obviously, those two have me cheesing the whole time. Jm slaps a tiddie, soju is brought onto the premises and even hobi comes by.

Now, Hobi’s little visit was interesting. Interesting cause he asks jm “why are you in jk’s studio?😋🤨”.

Now, I didn’t really pay any heed to that. It could’ve just been a genuine question BUT, jm has this reaction that had me raising a brow. He ducks his head and smiles shyly?? Here I was thinking that little offhand comment wasn’t too deep but, apparently it was. He even chokes on his water a little when hobi keeps teasing. Considering jk’s head is out of frame, we don’t know what his reaction was (let’s assume he was smiling. he’s a smiley guy after all:)).

Anyway, they continue until jk has to leave. Cue jm begging him not to and jk replying back with the most indulgent tone abjabsjsjjs. It was so cute.

Anyway, it is as the allegations state, they were insufferable in 2021. The tannies were holding the ptd concerts and, afterwards, those two would always be hanging out together in their hotel rooms (jms words not mine). They were really stuck at the hip and yes, jm went through this seemingly random phase of being uber-shy and bashful around jk.

It was a fun year for us jokers!

I actually agree quite a bit with the other anon regarding TH/JK hyung/dongsaeng relationship. You say they don't have that stereotypical relationship, but I think that's more because JK is more emotionally mature that TH, which I think is also part of the reason they grew distant. I think TH does want that kind of relationship with JK, but he oversteps JK's boundaries into an almost coddling/condescending territory (think him squeezing JK's cheeks in that one twt video after BB #1 or him making this almost grossly cutesy caption for the recent photos) which I think pushes JK away. I think JK has always been kind sensitive to boundaries, but I think as he's gotten older, he's gotten even more strict about setting boundaries (which includes with fans based on stuff he said during his livestreams).

I think TH's personality naturally does not always respect boundaries, but with JK, I think he can push it further because of him being the hyung, so he does. But as we know, JK doesn't want to be "cute", he wants to be acknowledged as having matured and I think sometimes the way TH treats him disrespects that, him probably feeling more mature than TH probably exacerbates that feeling too (plus being in a group without a strict age hierarchy that never forced him into a maknae role). I don't know about posting, but a lot of the babying or disrespecting boundaries stuff TH does to JK, he would never be allowed to do towards the older members. They give him grace because they obviously love him, but there are limits.

I do think TH feels some jealousy towards jikook, but its not about fame , attention, or fan engagement, but about their genuine closeness and feeling left out. I don't think TH feels close to hyung line much beyond them being like older brothers (compare to like JM who gets along with all of them and has JH especially close, or JK who also get along with most of them, but also is very close to jin). Over the years, the maknae line dynamic shifted a ton, with TH ending up kind of the outsider, and with JK specifically pulling away from him (IMO for the reasons I mentioned above). Now JM and JK enlisted together and have a travel show coming out, and I do think he probably feels pretty left out. To me, if he did post those photos for a negative reason, it wasn't about shippers or attention, but feeling left out and maybe a little petty. He probably also feels a little defensive of his relationship with JK, not so much to fans, but even internally. Weirdly, although they hung out more in 2023, I don't know if I can tell they actually bonded or got closer? Like JK leaving the movie premier to go live on his own or them going on trips, but with other people and to do specific activities. I understand why jkkers think they hung out more because JM was busy, because tbh, that's kind of the way it looks. And I mean that outside of any shipping discourse, I think JK's preferred person to hand with in bts is JM most of the time (base don the things he says and how much time we hear about them spending together behind the scenes). Maybe we'll see some strongly renewed bond between TH and JK after military service, but I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't. And I wouldn't be surprised if TH felt a little insecure about that, like he wanted or tried to reconnect with JK and I'm sure they had fun, but it didn't go any deeper. I'm not saying they don't care about each other, but I do think their personalities kind of inhibit the sort of closeness some of the other members have.

i'm being so real when i say anon you hit it right on the nose. i've been trying to form my own thoughts on this and i really love hearing other opinions on tae in relation to jikook.

this perfectly encapsulates how i feel about tae in that he always takes it a step too far and doesn't have the awareness to understand why that is. i think you clarified a point from the first anon about if tae were to post disrespecting boundaries of other members, it wouldn't go over well. it just doesn't sit well that tae gets a hyung card pass to kind of post about jungkook in the way he does. of course its kinda harmless and i don't think jungkook will do anything about it, but to me its clear he doesn't feed into the relationship like tae does.

my mind goes straight to the conversation they had in the first in the soop (where jimin had to go fetch jk for tae), and jungkook spoke about how him and tae drifted apart. but also that tae pushed for jungkook to drop honorfics and jungkook was very strict in that he does not want to. tae is always looking to push the envelope further.

also i think its funny that tae posts like he does about jungkook, but jungkook doesn't even have instagram anymore to actually interact with the posts. i have no clue if tae lets jungkook vet the posts before he posts them. from what we can understand, it is tae crafting the narrative around current t@ekook, not jungkook. and that enables tae's power over jungkook's wishes even further.

i've sensed this for a long time and it goes back to old 2019 lives where tae asks jimin to join him, but jimin says he's with jungkook so he can't. it just always feels like he wants in on jimin and jungkook, separately and together, but often is fresh out of luck. i think the telltale sign that tae and jungkook's relationship did not go any deeper last year was 1. jungkook never talked about him and 2. it was always with a group of friends.

plus from other asks too and what you said, i don't think tae has strong relationships with the hyung line, expect for hobi (but even hobi seems closer to jikook). so his only tie to bts is clinging to this newfound relationship he is trying to build with jungkook by pushing for him to join his friend group, and broadcasting it to the whole world.

thank you for putting so much attention into this ask anon, because the emotional difference between tae and jk really wasn't illuminated for me until now. jungkook i think has progressed past tae's immaturity, making him a better match for someone like jimin anyway.

I am a baby army. I 1st discovered taekook on YT. I started to believe the edited YT videos, and then I stumbled upon rosebowl and then the hickey situation between JM and JM I was so confused. Then I started watching in the soop and run bts, and then everything started to make sense. There is chemistry between JM and JK that is indescribable. Those who deny that chemistry are not because they have not witnessed it. It's simply because they don't want to. I have never been so sure about something in my life. JK and JM are definitely a couple. I have been watching the AYS episode, and the tension and chemistry between them is unreal. JK especially gives it away by the way he behaves in front of the camera. Please, Jikookers, do not waste your time and energy trying to convince or reassure antis. They see it, and they feel it. They just don't want it to be real!

JK and JM are so annoying to be honest and I say this with so much love.

Like if you want to fuck, maybe fuck and get it out of your system. Whats the point of having all these awkward sexually charged moments? I mean they have been in the same band for over 10 years. And if you don't want to fuck, what's the point of looking like you want to fuck all the fucking time? You know what I mean. Regardless of what I think of their relationship, it's very obvious that they are attracted to each other especially JK who honestly seems to be obsessed with JM (saying it nicely). What's the point of being whatever they are when it seems pretty obvious to a lot of people that they want to fuck and would probably fuck if they could. And to be honest if the situation is that they want to show people that they aren't into each other, maybe they need to some acting lessons. Like if you want people to think you aren't into each other, maybe work on your facial expressions. If their intention is to prove to people that they are straight and aren't into each other, maybe take a break from each other. What's the point of doing a show together and spending your last moments before the Army with each other? If you are dating other people, why arent you spending your last moments with others before enlisting rather than with each other? That's just clingy as fuck.

Once again, I mostly say this to JK than JM. JM has enough sense to tell JK to not flirt with him and keep him under control but JK doesn't seem to have the same things. Like we all know JM is irresistible but maybe try to keep your expressions under control JK!!

Also I was seeing Taekook vs Jikook discourse and I always wonder if these people are blind because to me it looks like Jimin is the prize. Both Tae and JK are literally obsessed with JMs attention and they want to be his main focus. I always see both these boys try to get his attention and I have noticed this since forever. I do think that JM tends to baby and maybe pay a bit more attention to V when he is around but I think it's because he is with JK and wants to focus on his friend when they are all together. I could be wrong of course but thats what it feels like to me when I watch their content.

To be honest though, if Jimin was in my team, I would thank god for giving him to us and worship him. How can someone be this perfect.
