Ahh thanks for the update!! I was going to comment but I guess my comment was too long so I’ll just send it here. This chapter was so angsty my heart is torn for everyone but especially mc :(( she’s going through all these different emotions & is being shut out left & right but then being coddled at the same time.. I wonder if this rift will lead her to taking up Jin’s suggestion. & if it does how would the guys react, joon & yoongi specifically. “Do you think you can fall for someone like me?” Omgggg idk what this means for the relationship jk & mc have .. could they end up falling in love? Is that allowed? How would Tae feel? I personally think mc is so strong to adapt to the relationship between joon & yoongi. It’s so intimate and something the everyone is aware of, they have major history too. I’d personally feel way too intimidated by their love, I’d feel incapable of joining in because I think I’d feel like a third wheel for the entirety of the relationship. What they have is deep and I feel so sad when mc catches glimpses of their interactions when it’s just them two alone. She’s truly understanding for knowing that they deserve their own moments but my heart still breaks for her. At times I feel like they love each other more than they do her but this could just be me projecting my own insecurities & being dramatic hehe. I’m so excited to see what’s to come & what’ll happen between all these relationships. I’m just taking a huge wild guess but I can see a “breakup” happening & mc running off to get away but also getting entail for Jin. I love angst so sorry for the theatrics + I think my periods coming soon so I’m extra sappy 💀 loved this update tho!! <33
anon, hello!!!
since your message contains a lot of what i would consider to be semi-spoiler content, i have been waiting to respond so that more people get a chance to read. if you ever want to comment but it's too long, you are also more than welcome to just spam the comments with long thoughts, i genuinely do not mind that at all!!! i have a couple friends who will leave 2 or 3 comments in a row after reading, and it brings me joy, i promise.
the relationships and the love they all share is definitely a complicated thing. (and then there is jungkook, but i am not factoring him in to this bit.) it's not fair to say they love someone more or less than the other, though. i take issue whenever someone says that. instead, look at it as loving someone differently. you aren't going to have identical love/feelings for two people; even mc has different ways in which she feels and shows love for namjoon and yoongi, whether that is completely obvious to the reader or lot (i try to make it a little clear in her observations and thoughts but i also can't force people to read things exactly how i hope they do.) they are still at an early enough stage to be figuring it out, and needing to have space some times, or struggling to communicate it all part of the process. it's definitely understanding to see the history yoongi and namjoon have and feel intimidated, but if someone is going to view themself as an outsider in a relationship with people who clearly care about and love them, then this type of relationship is likely not going to be good for them. sorry, i hope this explanation doesn't come off as too crass, but i get very defensive of these fake people who live inside my head lol. if people are reading this as "so-and-so loves this character more than that one," it feels like i am failing as an author to tell this story the way i want to.
i'm so glad you're loving the story!!! we'll see what happens next!!! 💜

“Wait! Someone’s in here—oh—Hi!”
If Jeongguk wasn’t in desperate need of the bathroom he would have turned on his heels and fled right there and then. Instead, the door swings into the tiled wall with a thud that resounds in his chest and the two of you just stare at each other, suspended in time like stars fixed in the hold of the universe. His heart twists itself into a strange knot when you tilt your head, hands fumbling back onto the sink to steady yourself. You’re clearly as drunk as him—maybe even more—and Jeongguk can’t help the way he tips forward, a hand outstretched to help you up.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to barge in like that,” he says. His palms feel too warm when they land on your skin. There’s a lot of it too. A skimpy baby blue skirt and deep cut top don’t really have the ability to cover much.
You giggle and something dormant in the base of Jeongguk’s brain bursts into flames. The heat worsens when your gaze slots into his, the grin on your lips effervescent.
“It’s fine,” you slur. “I was done anyway.” You must not see the way his eyes are wide, pupils dark with reminiscent of liquor yet still greedily drinking you in, because you fall into his arms with an ease that’s unsettling. He lets you lean against him, ginger as he aids your legs upright. Your hands fumble for the fabric of his shirt, crystal adorned acrylics clinging tight.
“Are you okay?” He’s drunk enough for this to be somewhat of a challenge, although not one he can’t handle. But, when your head lolls against his chest, the flush on your cheeks suspicious, soberness hits him with a sharpness that feels violent. “Should I get someone for you? Do you need to throw up?”
“Don’t.” There’s a fingertip pressing on his lips. The responding jolt in his spine nearly sends him keeling over. “Don’t mention that. I’m perfectly fine, I just need to find my friends.” You’re peeling yourself off him before Jeongguk can protest, moving towards the door with a speed that doesn’t correlate to your inebriation. “I’m fine, I promise!” You tack on, almost like you can hear his objection before the words have even formed on his tongue. “I’ll see you! Bye!”
Then you’re gone, sweeped up by the ebullient sounds of the party outside. It's a sight that feels far too familiar for this liking. You’re courteous enough to shut the door behind you, leaving him stuck on the image of your ass in that tight skirt and his own unexpectedly dangerous thoughts. It takes him a good minute to recover, blinking away the haziness in his vision underneath the hard bright lights of the bathroom.
Why was he here again? His bladder responds immediately, sending a reminder that has him staggering towards the toilet. Except he has to pause there for a moment longer, palms resting against the cold tiles as he wills his dick into submission. Peeing while drunk was already a difficult task. Peeing while hard and drunk? He’s not in the mood to entertain impossible missions.
Except, his mind is clearly in the mood to entertain you. You and that stupid skirt. You and all your stupid skirts. He thinks about them with a frequency that feels criminal. It doesn’t help that you keep adding new ones to your collection. The onset of summer must have fuelled your addiction because he’s spied three new ones in the weeks he’s spotted you around campus. The floral tangerine one is a current favourite, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the lilac one you had on last time. Or the blue one that’s stuck on your body at this very moment. There are things about him that he’s only finding out through the abrupt and crazed moments he’s shared with you. It leaves the bones in his body feeling strange, something he tries to correct as he washes his hands in the sink for the third time.
It’s also a poor attempt to calm the thumping in his heart. But that, like everything seemingly does around you, fails miserably.
Even with your limited contact, he’s starting to piece together his scattered emotions. The outcome is frankly terrifying, as demonstrated mere moments ago. The sight of your smile alone made the sun rise in his chest and set in his gut. Like there was a universe inside of him determined to orbit around you.  You must either have a spell on him or something because even after you’d practically abandoned him he was still stuck in place.
The memory of that leaves a sour taste on his tongue. It tastes just like the drink Mingyu hands to him when he melts back into the crowd, trying so hard to keep his neck from careening around in search of you. Maybe his face is more of an open book than he thought because his friend is leaning in, vaguely concerned by the crease in his brow.
“You good?” It’s a miracle he can hear him over the blaring of Taehyung’s speakers. There’s already a steady throb forming underneath his skull. He just nods in response, still incapable of stringing words together. Mingyu stares at him hard, before motioning towards the patio doors with a subtle pat of his pockets. They break through the throngs of people together. Jeongguk still feels on edge, but he’s not sure whether it’s the music or the people or the fact that you’re somewhere in his vicinity.
The night air subdues it, cooling his clammy skin. Mingyu digs his lighter out as Jeongguk attempts to wrangle his head out of the clouds and back down to earth. They don’t speak, silently exchanging the joint between them. He’s grateful for the repose, the smoke in his lungs spreading an ease through his tense limbs. It’s only a fleeting feeling though, as Jeongguk takes the moment to shuffle between the thoughts consuming his head because even in the muted silence of the night they’re still demanding to be heard.
“Whatever you’re thinking about, you know you can tell me, right?” Mingyu’s voice cuts through the spiral in his mind, guiding him right into the arms of sanity. He bites his tongue before the words spill out, trying to navigate the mess in his mind appropriately.
“Y/N is here.” That’s what he settles on. The sentence sits between him, accompanied by the harsh drag Mingyu takes on the joint. It’s followed by a contemplative noise and then his friend says something that yanks his eyes to him.
“So?”
“What do you mean, so?” Jeongguk questions, eyebrows raised in bewilderment.
“I mean,” Mingyu returns with a cloud of smoke. “So? She’s here, what does that have to do with anything?”
Jeongguk huffs in response, fixing his gaze back into the midnight shrouded backyard. “It doesn’t have to do with anything.”
“Were you planning on seeing her later? Or?” Despite knowing his friend very well, Mingyu is completely oblivious to the tautness in Jeongguk’s shoulders.
“No,” Jeongguk says. Which, if he’s being honest is partially the problem here. You hadn’t texted him in ages—since the last time you saw each other actually. It rubs him the wrong way, the nonchalance you have towards him considering your arrangement. It doesn’t help that you’re dressed like that. There’s too many questions bouncing around his skull and he doesn’t like the potential answers to any of them because if he considers your current circumstances, they likely don’t factor him in at all.
“So, everything’s okay then?”
“No.” The word escapes his throat before he can tie it up and suffocate it to death. The silence that follows makes Jeongguk consider returning back to the comfort of his room and pretend this conversation never happened.
“Jeon…,” Mingyu starts, gently nudging his arm. “Is this about what you mentioned last time?”
“I don’t know. Maybe.” He despises that he simultaneously knows and doesn’t know what’s going on his mind concerning you. Hates it as much as he likes it. “Pass it over.”
Mingyu obliges, his hazy eyes suddenly as clear as the skies above. “I thought you guys sorted your situation out. She came over and left, right? Just sex. Nothing else involved, right?”
He can’t help but snort at that. He knows what he means by that. Except Jeongguk had conveniently left out what he’d asked you moments before you’d skittered out of his room. He couldn’t admit that to anyone just yet, not even Mingyu. It’s worse considering how you’d responded to that tiny display of his emotions.
“No,” Jeongguk returns. “Nothing else.”
“So what exactly is the issue, huh?” Jeongguk feels the exasperation in Mingyu’s voice in his own body.
“It’s not really an issue. I just… There’s something about her—about this—that’s confusing me.” He watches the grey tendrils of smoke part from his lips melt into the air, wishing their ease of motion applied to the complications in his heart.
“So, stop seeing her,” Mingyu offers, like it’s that easy. Except that it isn’t that easy because Jeongguk stays up staring at the ceiling thinking about the way you felt under him and the way you would feel on top of him. You’d left his pillows covered in a sillage of bittersweet cherry and jasmine and now he has a strange desire to smell if off your skin instead. When his hands wander past the band of his underwear the memory of your mouth feeds the heat that swallows him alive. He wishes he could just wipe you clean from his mind, but you’re stuck there, as stubborn as a dark red wine stain.
“It’s not that easy,” Jeongguk returns, tongue pressed against the flesh of his cheek.
“It is,” Mingyu objects. “If you need me to talk to her, I will. You don’t have to do something you don’t want to do.”
“No—no—it’s not—I don’t—I want to do this,” Jeongguk interjects. The wind sweeps away parts of his sentence, like it knows he’s not being entirely honest in his desires. “I’m okay with this, I want h—I want this. Don’t stress about it. If I want to stop, I’ll talk to her myself.”
Mingyu hums, carefully considering his friend. The strain on Jeongguk’s face is clear now, hanging off his usually equanimous features in a manner that unnerves him. “If you’re sure about it,” he says. Jeongguk’s nodding in reassurance before he can question him further. He decides not to push it, respecting the clear boundary that’s been set. But he also can’t help his curiosity. The last time Jeongguk got this guarded over his emotions it ended in a dumpster fire that only time could put it. “When was the last time you saw her?”
Jeongguk’s body stills, reliving both a perpetual dream and nightmare in a millisecond. “I don’t know. It’s been awhile.” That’s a blatant lie because he does know. It’s been roughly thirteen days four hours and a handful of minutes since he’s practically scared you off by asking too much. What you’d said still haunts him a little, and he feels so stupid for even momentarily thinking that what he wanted was acceptable.
“What if I wanted you to stay?”
He’s so stupid.
You had blanched at the question, turning to stare at him like his head had sprouted an extra set of eyes or something. And then you’d giggled, the smile on your lips both heavenly and poisonous, before the sentence you’d uttered in response sent a deadly shot right through his heart.
“Why would you want that?”
He couldn’t even answer that because, truthfully, he didn’t know why he wanted that. He just knew that he did and he didn’t initially think it was entirely bad either. But your reaction was a clear indication that it was, because you’d just laughed a little more, bright and bubbly before bidding him goodbye with the vague promise of texting him later.
The sick thing was that Jeongguk had waited. He’d waited, practically falling over himself every single time a notification hit his phone. And yet, not a single message from you had appeared.
Hours had turned into days and days had turned into weeks. Time had left Jeongguk sure you’d washed your hands clean of him. Except, perhaps, you hadn’t given the welcoming way you’d greeted him in the bathroom. You had held onto him like you hadn’t swept his feelings under a rug weeks ago, still granting him that sunshine smile of yours. Maybe you did still want him—albeit not in the way he wants you. Or maybe you were just drunk and happy. It’d be fitting that you were the type to get drunk and start spreading joy like it was your personal mission. That sounded like you. A bright beacon of laughter and joy admis the chaos of drunkenness. Despite his protesting heart, even the suggestion of it coaxes a phantom of a smile on his lips, his cheeks heating up helplessly.
Jeongguk can tell Mingyu’s got another question lined up but the sound of the glass doors sliding open nips that in the bud. Taehyung saunters out, blatantly ignoring the tense silence filling the air.
“What the hell are you lot doing hiding out here?” Taehyung’s arm is a guillotine blade on Jeongguk’s neck, effectively cutting down the pathetic fantasy of you in his head before it can take flight. He grabs the dying joint from his fingertips, ignoring the irritated stare Mingyu shoots in his direction, and twists to beckon at a group of girls that dwandle in his wake. “Come on, I want you guys to meet someone.” Jeongguk doesn’t know who he’s saying it to and he frankly doesn’t care, moving to lean against the metal railing. He doesn’t miss the gaze that hangs on him for a second too long, taking in the owner of it with a slow sweep of his own eyes. He could use this. A reminder of his stance towards feelings and what really mattered to him. A reminder of what your connection was actually about.
He attempts to ignore how his body leans away when she moves in close, pretty in the moonlight but drenched in the smell of weed and something sickenly sweet. Nothing like your cherry scent. Nothing like you.
A reluctant part of him knows it then, that no matter what he does about it, you’ve done something irreparable to him. The twisted thing is that he doesn’t think he minds it that much if he’s being honest.
You’re never drinking this much again. The fact that your legs are barely functioning is enough of a hazard but being unable to type or even see your phone screen was beyond debilitating. The only thing keeping you upright was the stone steps aside this random house. How far were you even from your place? You’d come with Haein and Kyungmi but they had, according to the barrage of texts you’d received, already gone home. It’s partially your fault that you had been abandoned. You had left to go to the bathroom, after not telling them where you’d gone, and then vanished into the depths of the house hosting you. It’s not your fault you have a thing for locating rooftops when you’re drunk. Said rooftop had also led you into an interesting conversation with a guy you’re sure was on acid because he kept asking you to shrink your head back down to a normal size.
Really, was not your fault that riveting conversation had kept you up there until somebody came knocking with the message that the party was effectively dead. You should have noticed the deafening music coming to a halt but unravelling the secrets of the colour blue felt more pressing during that moment.
While thrilling, that had unfortunately left you stuck in a part of town you’re not that familiar with, the impending dawn slowly breaking through the night clouds and the Uber app open on your phone. Except you don’t think you’re capable of typing in a coherent address. There’s a few people spilling out of the doors behind you, all heavily plastered and loud. For a moment you get lost in the mention of food floating through the air, feet already moving towards the group in hopes of joining them. Then you hear him, the concern in his words like a harsh shot of espresso on your dying system.
“Y/N? You’re still here?” Your gaze lifts to find Jeongguk staring at you hard. Moonlight swims in the depths of his brown eyes, unveiling his delicate features that are coloured with disconcert. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” you return, dismissing his worry with a wave of your hand. “Just need to order an Uber back home,” you pause, tongue sneaking out the corner of your mouth, “And maybe find food.”
He leans in your space, carefully searching your face. “You’re going alone? What happened to your friends?”
“They left,” you say. The words coax an instant reaction on his face before you can even say the reminder of the sentence.
“They left you? Are you serious?” The irritation in his tone takes you aback, your thumb hanging over the confirm ride button as he stares you down.
“By accident,” you amend. “They thought I already went home. It’s fine.”
“It’s not,” Jeongguk returns. “I don’t think you should go alone right now. Are you staying far from here?”
“I’m not even sure where I am right now, honestly,” you laugh. Jeongguk does not join you, which kills the sound in your throat instantly. Judging from the way he glances down at your screen where the app waits for confirmation he clearly doesn’t find this funny.
“You don’t recognise this area?” He asks, expectant. Your eyes widen, gaze quickly skipping over your surroundings. It’s all towering grand trees and lavish buildings. Nothing distinct enough to trigger a memory.
“Nope,” you return, failing to see the importance in his question. Jeongguk’s shoulder sag a little, like you’d popped a balloon inside of him
“My place is like ten minutes away from here,” he says, turning away from you. The surprised noise that falls from your lips is devoured by the comforting chatter of people. Both your eyes settle on a group departing from the house behind you, conversation abruptly put on pause.  You spot Mingyu immediately, who uncharacteristically stills when his gaze drops on Jeongguk. There’s a few girls floating around them. Them meaning Taehyung and two other seniors you recognise but don’t really know by name. Regardless, you send him a cheerful wave, shouting a greeting over the chestnut curls adorning Jeongguk’s head. He returns it with a clipped smile, his eyes never parting from Jeongguk’s face.
You have a feeling they’re having a silent conversation right in front of you. But you’re not sober enough to actually care.
“How far is your place?” Jeongguk asks again, twisting away from Mingyu to face you.
“If this is near you, like thirty minutes away.” His eyebrows kiss his hairline, before settling down in resolve that feels cut from stone. “It’s not that far,” you tack on. “I can call an Uber and head home fine.”
“I’ll come with you,” Jeongguk states. Before a comical sound of protest can depart from your lips, Mingyu’s head is hanging over his shoulder, a forbidding presence. The gaze he sets on you is unnerving.
“Jeon,” Mingyu cuts, sending you a brief nod of acknowledgement, “We’re going to Jimin’s right now.” His eyes falter on you for a second too long, almost considering something. The conflict in his eyes is evident. You watch the war in his kind wage with a tight chest. He seems reluctant to say it but eventually his mouth betrays him, “You’re both welcome to join.”
“I’ll pass.” Jeongguk’s answer apparently unsettles the both of you because you both stare at him through wide uneasy eyes. Mingyu’s gaze eventually turns to you and you realise in the lull of the conversation a response was expected.
“I need to head home,” you supply, still trying to figure out how to gently rid yourself of Jeongguk.
Mingyu’s eyebrows virtually relocate to the heavens, his gaze sliding between the two of you sharply. For some reason, your breath is stuck in your throat, unable to break the awkward silence that settles down on you. Jeongguk doesn’t even try, his back permanently facing his best friend. You don’t know what the look Mingyu is giving him means but you’re not sure you like it.
“Alright,” he says. It sounds resigned, but there’s a faint smile on his lips. You give him a brief smile in return, hoping it’ll ease the tension stuck in the air. “Get home safe, Y/N. I’ll see you later, Jeon.”
He leaves with your sole chance of getting Jeongguk off your hands. It’s obvious he’s determined to get you home because he’s already ordering a ride, gingerly requesting your address. It falls on deaf ears because your eyes are still trailing after Mingyu’s retreating figure, bleary gaze blinking hard.
“Y/N? Did you hear me?” Wide round eyes demand your attention, his face hanging inches away from yours. You take a step away in response, heels stumbling into the rocky pavement in your rush. Your ass slams into the earth a second later, retribution on your tailbone for mindlessness. “Jesus! Are you okay?” The hands you were evading are already out and ready to save.  He seIs upright with a gentleness that further weakens your knees. Or maybe that’s the vodka sneaking up on you. Jeongguk frets like a lover, peering closely at your face, his own contorted as if he’d taken the fall.
“I’m fine,” you assure, gingerly shaking him off. Instead, your legs waver again and his grip on you tightens.
“You’re not,” he returns. “Are you sure you want to go to yours? My place isn’t far from here and I don’t want to leave you alone when you’re like this.”
There’s an objection on your lips but the sudden rush of bile up your throat dissolves it before it can fully form. While you would love to be tucked in your bed, the thirty minute ride with a stranger at the break of dawn was looking more unfeasible with every passing moment.
“How far did you say it was? Ten minutes?” You can do ten minutes, that won’t kill you.
“Basically. It’s a short walk. If you can’t walk, I don’t mind carrying you.”
That gives you the strength to throw his hands off you. You are perfectly capable of walking regardless of how much alcohol is in your system. “I can walk fine, thank you very much.”
You hear the aggravated huff under his breath even with your back turned away from him. “I never said you couldn’t.”
“You implied it.”
“Are we really going to argue about this?” The questioning curve of his dark eyebrow makes you want to say yes, but when your feet nearly tangle into each other you bite back the words and offer him a defeated shake of your head. “Okay, good. Follow me then.”
He snatches up your hand with ease, as if the act is second nature and not a bizarre turn of events. His warm palm perfectly fits against yours, your hands moulding together as if they were crafted with that intended purpose. Normally, you would have never agreed to go home with a guy—scratch that, you’d never even been in a situation where you even offered the chance to go home with a guy. Your virgin predicament was more restrictive than you’d like to admit. It’s not like guys haven’t tried, you just tend to trample on the garden of opportunity before a bud can even break from the ground. It’s different with Jeongguk though. He’s more of an ongoing free trial. So nothing you do or say amounts to anything. That’s why you feel comfortable trailing after him. That and you already know how to break out of his room if it comes to it.
Two sharp corners later and you’re a bit ashamed you hadn’t recognised the neighbourhood earlier. No wonder Jeongguk had looked at you like that. But in your defence you’d only seen him thrice. And the first time doesn’t even count considering you left (read: jumped out the window) five minutes in.
He guides you in silence, only murmuring a small ‘Come on, Bambi’ when you struggle to kick your shoes off at the door. His room is exactly how you found it last time; immaculately clean with a collection of water bottles that would offend any earth conscious soul lined against the floor. You spy two new Marvel figurines on his desk, along with a glowing mechanical addition to his monitor set-up. You linger at the edge of his room, observing through lidded eyes as he moves around, snatching two blankets from his (neatly) arranged closet.
“I’ll take the couch, you can sleep here tonight,” he hands you a shirt and dark pair of sweats that you accept silently. Your feet are still unable to move, the unnerving feeling that you’re intruding keeping the bones in your body stuck. “You can change into these and if you need anything, let me know.”
You nod. Apparently the issue with your legs has also infected your mouth.  Jeongguk regards you for a moment, before slowly making his way towards the door. The relief you feel is instant, but it’s swiftly devoured by guilt. Afterall, he’s being very gracious here, and like an idiot you hadn’t even expressed your gratitude. It’s like your brain switches back into your manual mode because your mouth swings open with a request that feels silly even to you.
“Do you have any makeup removers? Or cleansers? Or just soap?” While you don’t mind sleeping with your makeup on, there’s no harm in attempting to wash it off. You doubt Jeongguk has any of that anyway. Except he cocks his head in thought, curls clouding his gaze, before walking back into his room. He swings the door for the bathroom open with a sheepish smile, gesturing to the tiny basket of skincare as your head peers over the threshold. It’s spotless, just like every other space he occupies.
“There’s micellar water, cleansers and moisturisers there. I have extra toothbrushes too, if you need that.”
“Jesus, how many girls contributed to the creation of this collection?” You murmur, sweeping past him to examine the extensive array of facemasks neatly arranged on the bathroom counter. There’s a cooling pomegranate one that catches your eye, a mental note to pocket it forming in the back of your head immediately.
You’re too focused on peering through his collection to spot the sudden rose hue that blossoms across Jeongguk’s skin.
“None? I just like skincare.”
“Hmm,” you return, a small smile spreading across your lips. “Sure.”
He regards you with a funny look as he leans against the door frame, the silver ring on his finger glinting as he toys with it. “What? Men can’t like skincare?”
“Most men use three-in-one everything if they can get away with it,” you reply, popping open the micellar water bottle. “Or nothing at all, actually.”
“Oh, like you’re the expert on men here?” It’s said with a raised eyebrow and muffled scoff, muted but loud in its judgement.
That halts you in your actions, your gaze slowly rising to stare at Jeongguk and the smile on your lips dropping to the pits of hell. It’s obvious what he’s alluding to with that statement, the big fat virgin branding that seems to hang over your head like a bright green Sims symbol. Perhaps he had expected you to laugh or brush it off, but, like most things you don’t like talking about the status of your (non-existant) sex life was a deep insecurity. His demeanour shifts the second you don’t crack back at him, his spine snapping straight with an apology tumbling past his lips.
“Oh—fuck—I didn’t mea—.”
You silence it with a quick turn of your head away from him, shifting towards the mirror where the edges and hollows of your face are drowning under light. “Do you have any cotton pads?” Maybe if you scrubbed the mascara hanging off your eyelashes off you wouldn’t feel like crying.
He retrieves them from the cabinet wordlessly, gingerly placing them in front of you as if you were poised to attack. You accept the offering with a clipped smile, barely looking Jeongguk in the eyes.
“I’ll leave you to it, then. Just shout if you need anything.”
You let him leave in silence, and then proceed to scrub your face clean until it’s stinging raw like the heart inside of your chest is.
Jeongguk hates himself. He’s trying not to be entirely self-depreciating here but the image of your face crumbling at his poor joke keeps replaying underneath his eyelids. Sleep, normally a very easy activity when he’s drunk, seems to be currently evading him. Perhaps it’s retribution for his careless words, or maybe it’s because he can still hear you in his bathroom. The walls of his dorm building were absurdly thin. At first, he had planned to sleep on the couch, but one trip downstairs had revealed Seokjin wiped out on it, limbs spread in each and every direction. And while he respects your privacy he’s not going to risk waking up with an entire fist (or foot) shoved near his mouth. So he’s camping out on the floor of his bedroom, a blanket loose around his waist and a rolled up towel on his makeshift pillow. It’s a pitiful sight, and it’s something you probably realise too when you step out of the bathroom, the white light bathing your figure bleeding into the dark room. You pause at the doorway for a long second, observing him like he’s a puppy that’s been kicked to the curb, before cutting the light with a soft shut of the door behind you.
You tilt your head, just like you did hours ago, and even in the darkness Jeongguk feels his chest flare up. He’s probably caught a deadly disease or something—this strangely feels like dying.
“Are you serious?” You question, padding towards his bed. His clothes are too big on you, excess fabric swallowing your figure. He’s ashamed of the way his dick twitches against his thigh.
“What?” He replies, gathering the blankets around his waist. You’re clueless, unaware of how his eyes seem stuck on your movements. The bed dips as you sink into it and a memory violently flashes before Jeongguk’s eyes. He has to blink it away, hurriedly shifting up before his predicament becomes obvious. “Are you uncomfortable? I would sleep downstairs but my roommate is—”
You cut his sentence short with a gentle shake of your head. “You don’t have to. The bed is big enough for both of us. And it’s yours anyway.”
“I know but—”
“But?” Your eyes are really cute when you do that, bright and wide as your eyebrows furrow together in question. “It’s not like we haven’t shared a bed before.”
Jeongguk can’t help the heat in his face. He doesn’t know how to explain to you that that’s the exact problem with his situation. But, like a dutiful puppy, when you pat the space beside you he gets up and climbs under the sheets.
“See,” you reply, tucking the comforter under your chin. “That wasn’t hard was it?”
Wrong. Very wrong. You’ve never been more wrong in your life.
He chokes out a noise of agreement, which turns into an actual choke when your perfume slips over him. Cherries again, but sweeter this time. You must have used his jasmine hair mist spray because it smells vaguely familiar. The two scents combine together well and for a second, the urge to bury his nose in the crook of your neck burns through his body.
(Is he allowed to do that? Is that too much? What exactly are the lines here?).
Silence emerges as you settle, snuggly wrapping yourself under the sheets while Jeongguk finds his body stuck in stiffness. Eventually, it sounds like you’ve fallen asleep, but when his eyes dare to glance over your gaze is stuck on his ceiling, delicate lashes grazing your cheeks with every languid blink in the dark. His feet move automatically, softly nudging against yours. You twist to face him, eyes shining in the faint glow of the moon.
“What?”
Your curt tone kills the words in his throat. For a second, he can’t speak, unable to construct a coherent thought while you’re looking at him. But then you sigh heavily, turning back to face the ceiling and he forces his lips apart.
“I wanted to say sorry. For what I said earlier. I didn’t mean it like—”
“You don’t have to apologise,” you say. “You weren’t wrong.”
“That doesn’t mean it was right for me to say it,” Jeongguk returns, slightly frustrated with how you keep trying to finish his words for him. “It was a shitty joke. I’m sorry for making you feel uncomfortable.”
He expects something, anything from you then. But what he gets in return is silence. And then you murmur into the space between you, voice as light as air.
“You still weren’t wrong, though.”
That stops his heart in his chest, a crack splintering right through it. Before Jeongguk can say anything, you’re shuffling onto your elbows, turning to face him with intent.
“Does my inexperience turn you off? Like am I really bad at this sex thing?”
“We’ve never had sex,” he returns, brain malfunctioning because your boobs are dangerously close to his face. The eye roll he receives is Oscar-worthy.
“You know what I mean, Jeongguk.”
“It’s not,” he says, the connection between his mind and mouth finally breaking free from dick. “It’s really not. You think you’re bad at this?”
The lip caught between your teeth is enough of an answer.
“You’re not,” Jeongguk continues, before the thoughts he can see in your mind glide through the air. “I promise, you’re not. I wouldn’t lie about that.”
“You wouldn’t?” He doesn’t know whether to hate or love how you stare at him in this moment because nobody has ever looked at him like that before. Like he’s holding the weight of their heart in his hands and the final verdict could be a breath of life or a death blow.
“I wouldn’t,” Jeongguk affirms. He watches you sag in relief beside him, an odd feeling blooming between his ribs. He ignores vehemently, hurriedly searching for something to say. “Why would you ask, though?”
“I just feel silly sometimes, you know. Like wow, nobody else but myself has touched me before so I have no idea if I’m doing the right thing. I already overthink most things but this is worse because it’s new to me.”
(Jeongguk shoves the thought of you touching yourself far far away in the base of his mind never to be disturbed again).
“It’s new to everyone at some point, it’s not a big deal,” he says. He vaguely gets where you’re coming from, remembering how nervous he felt around his partners before he got used to it. It’s oddly akin to how he feels around you.
“It’s different, though. Usually it’s two people figuring it out together but in most cases it’s only me, you know.”
Jeongguk raises an eyebrow at that, his shoulder bumping against yours when he shifts closer. “First of all, there are more people who are virgins than you think.” Jeongguk shushes the scoff you let out with a pointed stare. “And secondly, I feel like I’m figuring things out with you too. It’s like that with every new partner—at least the ones you get to know.”
You elbow his ribs, not sharp but playful. “Really? And what do you know about me?”
He knows far more than he’d ever admit to anyone. He’s not stalking you but you have appeared in his line of vision more lately (he blames it on his sudden hyper awareness of you). One, you have a diet Coke obsession considering that every time he’s spotted you on campus one is lingering nearby. You like collecting pins, if the heavily adorned tote bag you lug to and from class is any indication. You crack your knuckles far too loud for someone who prefers the silent floor of the library. You like skirts and dresses over pants (even if it’s raining). You’ve recently started getting your nails done in elaborate designs that seem impractical at times. Your eyes do this funny thing when you look at him, as if they’re teetering between confusion and affection. You get touchy when you're drunk. You always smell good. You taste even better. Your thighs tense hard when you’re about to cum, almost locking up like your body’s only response to pleasure is to shut down. And when you touch him he forgets how to breathe.
“Not much, actually,” Jeongguk says. You wiggle closer and the last thought in his head becomes a reality.
“I don’t know much about you either,” you say. The wonder in your voice is a viper wrapping around Jeongguk’s neck. “But that’s better for the both of us, anyway.”
“Better? Why would that be better?”
“Because this isn't real, or anything. we’re just friends with benefits… Or strangers actually—strangers with benefits,” you say, shrugging your shoulders like it’s obvious.
Jeongguk closes his eyes because if he doesn’t he might combust. He’s seen more intimately than any other person on this planet and you’re currently lying in his bed wearing his clothes but you’re calling him a stranger.
“What’s wrong with us being friends?” He asks, once his heart has calmed down enough for a rational thought to emerge from his head.
Your nose scrunches in distaste, effectively squashing his heart in the process. “That would be weird.”
“You don’t want to be friends with the people you fuck?” Jeongguk sharply questions.
“I mean, I don’t know. I’ve never really experienced anything like this before so I couldn’t tell you.” Your reply is so innocent that for a second he feels bad for the bitterness in his words. But then you continue speaking and that changes everything. “But maybe, yeah.”
“So why not me?”
You look at him like that option is unfathomable, which hurts more than he expects. “Well… How would that work? Wouldn’t we get attached?”
Jeongguk is very comfortable with the idea of forming an attachment with you. But it’s obvious from the way your eyes flicker between his that you, on the other hand, are not.
“We wouldn’t,” he lies, gaze faltering from yours.
“Oh?”  You say, so agreeable even when he’s lying between his teeth. “Okay then, we can be friends.”
He immediately regrets suggesting the idea of friendship the second you say it. Jeongguk does not want to be your friend. The word itself feels like an ugly brand in his skin. He’s not sure what he wants from this but it’s certainly not friendship. But before he can amend this situation, your finger is poking his check, examining his face with newfound fascination.
“What’s your favourite colour?” You ask, the edge of your nail sharp on his skin.
Jeongguk tries not to move. Whether it’s out of fear or desire he can’t tell yet. “Purple.”
“Oh? That’s mine too!” You giggle and the sound seeps into his blood. “Ask me a question next,” you command. Your fingertips trail sound the side of his face, idly flicking the silver hoops dangling from his ear.
“Why?” There’s a shiver down his spine that he violently suppresses.
“Because we’re getting to know each other, aren’t we?”
“Forming a friendship isn’t usually done through rapid fire questions,” Jeongguk returns.
You quirk an eyebrow. “I don’t think anything we’ve done is something that is usual.”
That’s a fair point, something that Jeongguk admits with a heavy exhale. “Okay, then, what’s your favourite movie?”
“Perfect Blue,” you answer. “Yours?”
“Any of the Spiderman movies. What’s Perfect Blue about?”
“It’s difficult to explain.” Your fingers are now slipping down his neck, coming to rest languidly on his chest where his heart is fervently slamming against his ribs. “You like Marvel movies?”
Jeongguk hums, face turning towards yours. “You don’t?”
You’re not looking at his eyes, dazed gaze trained on his lips. The quick swipe of his tongue across them is instinctive, the sudden buzz that zips under his skin when your gaze sharpens nearly sends him into cardiac arrest. The careening from your demeanour disposition into ravening hunter poised for the kill terrifies him, yet, his eyes can’t help but slip down your features, lingering on the span of skin that fleeting escapes from the neckline of his shirt when you shift closer.
“Not a big fan,” you reply. Your nails drag down the length of his chest. There’s not a single functioning blood vessel in Jeongguk’s brain right now. “What’s your favourite season?”
“Winter,” Jeongguk says. He’s going to burn inside out at this rate. “Yours?”
“Summer,” you return, the corners of your lips turning upwards. It’s angelic, despite the way your palm settles right at the base of his stomach, fingertips toying with the hem of his shorts. He forces the question out of his mouth before apprehension can beat it into submission, daunted by your answer but more terrified of how his body will betray him if he doesn’t.
“Can I kiss you?”
You still, gaze finally lifting from his mouth. The look you give him is heavy, digging right through his eyes into the pit of his stomach in search of something Jeongguk wasn’t sure he possessed. But perhaps you find it, because after a painful moment of silent consideration, your lips stretch wide as your body leans into his.
“Sure.”
Then your mouth is on his and the hinges on the door of his desire rip off, leaving him victim to the pit of flames burning wild in his gut. They consume him, like you do, with an eagerness that he revels in, his hands on you in the space it takes between a breath to leave your lungs and enter his. None of his fantasies compare to this, falling flat on his tongue despite the hours he’d spent drawing colour in them. They could never measure up to the taste of you, bright and violent against his lips. His hands fumble with want, travelling from the nap of your neck to the expanse of your hips where he grips tight. A second later and you’re spread out over him, crotch lined neatly into his like your bodies were made to fit into each other. The blood inside of him positively sings, cock straining against the fabric of his underwear. He can’t help the moan that slips from the back of his throat when your tongue meets his, senses drowning in your presence. You grind yourself down on him and even though it stings Jeongguk’s body responds, his hips bucking up in search of more. It’s as if you control every inch of him, from the curls on his head to the nerves under his skin, all under your command. And he’s obsessed with it—he's obsessed with you.
Your mumbles of lack of experience from earlier seem laughable now, because Jeongguk feels like the inexperienced one, practically on the verge of spilling inside of his pants.
Maybe his needs are obvious because you draw away a second later, leaving Jeongguk pathetically chasing after the shape of your mouth, his vision hazy with want. You stop the act with a gentle press of your palm on his shoulder, forcing him into the mattress with a firmness that sends a spark right to the curve of his belly.
“Wait—wait—wanna do something.” It’s huffed out from your wet lips, Jeongguk’s dick throbbing underneath you at the sight of them. He hasn’t forgotten how you looked kneeling before him, lips parted wide for him. He wants to see that again, see your lips stretched around his length, swallowing inch after inch of him under your eyes well with tears and your throat can’t take anymore.
Maybe it’s the liquor talking but he has never been his horny in his life.
“What?” He says instead, taken aback at how breathless he sounds. You tilt your head again, a habit that Jeongguk is quickly learning to adore, as the corner of your lip gets caught in the hold of your teeth. He can see you thinking, stuck between honest reticent and shameful desire. His hips roll into you in return, hoping to sway the tide in your mind. Whatever you’re thinking of, he wants it. More than he’d ever openingly admit. Lucky for him, it does, your eyes fluttering shut when he pulls you into him and a wondrous noise parting from your lips.
“The list,” you mumble, blinking slowly as you resettle on Jeongguk’s dick. “There was something on the list that I wanted to try and I know it’s not the usual setting but since we’re here…”
Fortunately, you don’t know that Jongguk would give you anything you ever wanted anywhere if you asked him. He chooses to hum in response, the pads of his fingers gingerly gliding under the hem of your shirt (his shirt), as he gives you time to gather the moxie to speak.
You do a moment later, trembling when his hands finally get on you. “Wanted to try sixty-nining. Or whatever.”
He ignores the way his tip pathetically leaks at the image that flashes before his eyes, trying to push back the wave already poised to swallow him whole. The damp patch building along the fabric of his underwear would be embarrassing in any other situation but Jeongguk gives into his desires around you, greedily tugging you back down to his mouth.
You kiss him with repose, melting into him with an ease that is terrifying. Time stills, your head spinning as he breathes you in. You part with a muted sigh, lips plush with the memory of each other.
“So?” You ask, impatient with want.
“Okay,” Jeongguk finally speaks, honey gaze trailing across your features. His voice is heavy as it leaves his throat, “We can do that.”
You kiss him again, fuelled by need. The sight of Jeongguk’s flushed face and lidded eyes is devastating. He must feel the same because his hands are quick, tugging your shirt over your head when you briefly break apart to breathe. You’re not even granted a moment to process the cool air settling on your scathing skin, Jeongguk’s wandering mouth already latching on the swell of your chest. His teeth sink in with purpose, hard enough to send a jolt down your spine. The act coaxes his bulge further into your, the expanse of his length teasing your swollen clit. It’s too much and not enough simultaneously and Jeongguk knows you well enough to read this.
His hands rid the sweatpants on your hips with speed, but, in your eagerness to help your legs tangle with his, sending you spiralling off the hold of his lap and into the bed.
Your giggles are infectious, engulfed by the sheets strewn around your body. In your peripheral vision, you catch Jeongguk’s concerned gaze, the faint smile on his lips inducing a matching on yours. “Are you okay?” He asks, hands halted at your hips. You laugh again, forgoing a reply to swiftly kick your sweatpants off (and effectively most of his comforter). This leaves you all but bare, the only thing on your skin a thin black thong. You don’t miss the way his jaw sets at the sight of it, the fingers on your hips digging into your skin tenaciously.
“I’m fine. Your turn,” you murmur, shuffling onto your elbows. His gaze dips to your chest, shifting dark under the faint moonlight. He obeys your command, shedding his clothes as if they’re aflame, leaving only his underwear on. You’ve been trying to overlook the bulge in his pants, revelling in how he felt against you but still somewhat unnerved by it. Even with experience under your belt, the sight of him taut against the fabric of his underwear sends an indecipherable thrill through bones. There’s no denying it now though, your gaze faltering along his golden bare skin down to his crotch.
Jeongguk sees the discontent flash across your face, cautiously drawing near. His hand is on your jaw a beat later, pulling your eyes back to him. It’s wordless, his mouth a source of newfound comfort on your lips, virtually swallowing your trivial worries whole. The simple touch reignites your need, hands automatically reaching out until your writhing against him, desire setting your nerves alight.
“Okay?” Jeongguk asks when your lips eventually part. You’re enraptured by how his eyes glitter even in the dark.
“I’m okay,” you return. Except you’re not. This feeling, the one of ravening emptiness, between your thighs is new. It’s worsened by the mess you’ve made on your underwear, the fabric stuck to your skin with evidence of your desire. You don’t know what’s driving this but you do know that Jeongguk is the only one who can fix it. That’s what spurs your movements, legs easily flinging themselves around Jeongguk’s waist as you push his back into the sheets, pressing down in hopes of easing something. The twitch you get in response momentarily does, before something in your gut brilliantly bursts as his cock throbs against you, wet just like you are.
“Fuck.” There are hands on your hips, gently willing you away but you push back in protest, mind barren of all thoughts but Jeongguk. Despite his actions, his body is on the same wavelength, hips matching the swivel of yours with a carnal greed that leaves your cheeks hot. It’s practically slippery, the two of you leaking onto each other through the material, his tip grazing the swollen nub of your clit with every meeting.  He chokes out a moan when you lean forward, your chest pressed flush against his, the hands on your hips clutching tight. “Gonna have to stop that if you want to sit on my face,” he vocalises, voice rough against your skin.
That halts your movements, nerves bright and electric at the reminder. It takes a moment for your brain to recalibrate, before the realisation that you’re both still wearing too much clothes sinks in.
“Off,” you murmur, pulling away. Jeongguk’s hands follow but you direct them back to the waistband of his underwear. “Off, seriously.”
“Bossy,” he twines, but he complies, tugging them off with a single swift motion. There’s a sudden direct connection between your heart and your pussy because the flutter that seizes your walls knocks you off your kilter. You mimic his actions, willing away the fluttering in your belly as you drag your underwear down your thighs. It’s absently discarded, the two of you finally baring it all for each other. The silence hanging over your heads is broken by Jeongguk’s hands grazing your skin, his touch luring a wondrous noise from the back of your throat. It’s ginger, a stark contrast to the hardness of his eyes. They don’t stray away from you, conscientiously committing every curve and edge of your body into his memory.
“Come here,” Jeongguk states, “Want to taste you.” The heaviness in his voice shoots straight to your gut. You know what he means, shifting to turn yourself away from him. It’s oddly more baring than anything you’ve done together before. He guides you towards him, a sigh parting from his lips when you finally settle before his face, the curve of your ass flush against his firm palms. “Pretty,” Jeongguk murmurs into the heat of your skin. You nearly whimper, the slick that slips from you betraying. You can feel his breath against your cunt, grazing along your nerves, as he shifts closer.
The swipe of his tongue along your lips sends you spiralling. It’s heady, eager licks parting your pussy before cautiously dipping inside of you.
“Jeon-Jeongguk…” You mewl, broken at the wantonness of his actions. He hums into you in response, mouth now pressed against your cunt, tongue deep enough to coax your hips into movement. He accepts the pressure of your hips on his face with a groan that vibrates through your bones, his length leaking milky white against the expanse of his abs. You’d momentarily forgotten what you wanted, but that sight is enough of a reminder and your head ducks forward, wet lips settling on the angry red tip of his cock.
Jeongguk almost cums. Almost.
It takes a violent amount of willpower for him to not spill into your mouth, your tongue so eager on his tip that his brain positively short circuits, his own tongue buried deep inside of you. It’s clenched tight by the fluttering of the walls of your cunt, unfettering a carnal part of Jeongguk that he wasn’t even aware of. It’s maddening, the feeling of your tongue swirling around his length, throat gingerly swallowing around more of him with every passing second. He can’t help the low moan that escapes his mouth, tongue finally spilling out of you to swipe at your clit. The tremble that echoes down your thighs eggs him on, the licks he imparts on your clit fast and precise. It leaves his mouth wet and glistening, coated with the slick that seemingly pours out of you. For the first time in his life Jeongguk is overrun with desire, mind lost between the feeling of you against his mouth as your lips work on his cock, the croons in your throat vibrating around his length. He’d thought nothing would be as good as you on your knees for him but this—this—was intoxicating.
He’s close, you can tell, from the way he groans into your cunt and the obvious twitching against your tongue. But you’re not thinking about that, too lost in the way his tongue darts from your clit to dip inside of you, his face buried deep between your thighs. His hands clutch on you tightly, fingers almost tearing past your skin to fuse you into him. Like he can’t get enough. And maybe he can’t because when shift away, knees buckling from the vicious thrill that surges through your body he pulls you back, mouth relentless.
“Jeongguk,” you keen, trembling with the promise of release. You’ve abandoned his needs for the moment, too overwhelmed by your own body to think beyond. He ignores you, delivering brutal flicks on your clit. “Jeongguk—please!” That captures his attention, a moment of relief granted when his mouth departs from your cunt. He delivers a sharp nip at your inner thigh in retribution, huffing into your skin. You can’t see him but you know what he looks like; brown eyes blown out with desire and his petal lips tinged rouge, glistening prettily with your slick. It’s enough to lock the bones in your body, but the feeling of his teeth playfully sinking into the flesh of your thigh again does that and then some. He eases it with a soft kiss, the conflicting ache of pain ebbeding under the tender touch.
“What’s wrong, baby?” He asks, roughened voice cracking into your skin. You hate when he calls you that. It makes your heart swoop into your gut and do flips and tricks that leave you sick.
“Wasaboutocum.” It’s a slur, your mouth and brain effectively disconnected. There’s a beat of silence, before Jeongguk’s mouth is flush against your cunt, blooming a new wave of want that tremors down your thighs.
“Kind of the point here,” he murmurs, licking you idly. You don’t need to see it to hear the smile on his lips. Cocky bastard.
“Yeah, I know,” you mumble. “It felt different though.”
“Different, how?” Jeongguk stills underneath you, bumping his nose against the inner side of your thigh affectionately.
“Just different,” you return, refusing to elaborate. He kisses your thigh again and you try (and fail) not to melt into a puddle of mush.
“Were you going to squirt?”
“Jeongguk!” If you were facing him you’d have smacked his arm in admonishment. He just laughs, peppering another fleeting kiss on your thigh.
“Why are you mad?” He mumbles into your skin, drawing you close with a firm tug of his hands on your hips. “Do it—I’ll take care of you.”
He doesn’t give you the time to rebuttal, tongue back on your clit with purpose. For a second, you lost in the feeling of him, the zealous swipe of his tongue along your cunt consuming you whole. But then you glance down, gaze tumbling on the mess spilling against the curve of his stomach. Your mouth eases back down on him, revelling in the faint flash of  salt that coats your mouth, and Jeongguk jolts underneath you. He returns the favour with a groan that coaxes a flood from your cunt, lapping you up like a starved man.
It doesn’t take long for you to begin to unravel again, already on edge from how he’d toyed with you earlier. Jeongguk is more resilient, and eventually your mouth falters from his length, unable to keep up with the assaulting pace he’d set on your pussy. You move unconsciously, grinding yourself into his mouth with a force Jeongguk reciprocates. His tongue is unremitting, even as your high snaps through you, thighs suddenly taut as you leak against his face. The only thing stuck on your lips is his name, murmured into the heavy air like a sinful prayer. The grip on your ass is just as unforgiving, his fingertips roughly digging in as his tongue delves between your lips, lapping up the reminiscents of your release. Your thighs are still quivering when he finally lets up, the automatic need to get away driving your body off of Jeongguk.
You collapse into the sheets face first, walls still clenching tight with every faint tremor of your release. It takes a moment for you to gather yourself, head slowly turning to find Jeongguk staring at you, his eyes dark and his mouth bruised with the memory of you.
“Y-You… Oh my God.” It’s the only thing you can piece together, struggling to even set your vision straight. Every bone in your body feels brand new, a glow blooming through your limbs that you’ve never felt before.
“You didn’t squirt,” Jeongguk murmurs. You don’t notice it, still in a blissful haze, but there’s a dangerous tension present in his limbs that should concern you.
“I didn’t,” you blither. Jeongguk shifts forward as your eyes flutter shut. The hands of your skin aren’t kind, flipping your on to your back with a force that knocks the breath out of your chest, your eyes springing open. He’s settling himself over you, cock still painfully hard. It glistens with the reminiscence of your spit, angry red tip leaking.
“I wanted you to,” Jeongguk murmurs. The calmness in his tone is unsettling, stoking a new pit in your gut that violently curves inwards when he tags you closer, the muscles beneath his sun-kissed skin shifting with the movement. “I said you could,” he continues, firmly arranging you beneath him. There’s a lump in your throat, blood thrumming in your head as you watch him.
“I couldn’t,” you reply, tongue finally unplastering itself from the roof of your mouth.
“Why?” Jeongguk questions, honey gaze locking on you. You can’t discern what’s running in his head but it leaves you breathless nonetheless, skin buzzing with every rough firm touch he bestows on you.
“T’was too much,” you slur, the words retreating back down your throat when Jeongguk cages you in with his broad shoulders, your legs slung around his waist. You can feel him against your thigh, hard and needy.
“I told you I would take care of you, didn't I?” He says, mouth settling on the hollow of your neck. The kiss he plants there makes you swoon, sending a sharp thrill right to your cunt
“I know,” you murmur, trying to figure out when the connection between your heart and pussy formed. It was starting to have a detrimental effect considering Jeongguk was nothing more than a glorified fuckbuddy. Your attempt to will it away is pathetic, abysmal even, almost evanescent before your eyes when Jeongguk shifts upwards, his nose bumping against yours as your lips easily slot into each other. You can taste him on your tongue and you know he can taste himself on yours too, the knowledge driving your mouths apart with a fervour that leaves your heart thumping violently in your chest. Your legs pull him closer, his crotch finally settling on yours.
“We don’t have too.” Is the first thing Jeongguk says when your lips part, his gaze clement.
You roll yours in return. “Wasn’t going to. We’re not there on the list yet.”
The way his eyes widen in surprise coaxes a giggle from you, the sudden urge to place a kiss on hips overriding any sensible thought in your head. Before you can curb the intruding desire your mouth is moving, settling a delicate kiss on the corner of his mouth. Jeongguk leans into it, seemingly no longer perturbed. Or rather placated, unlike your hips shift upward and his mouth splits open with the desire for more.
“I want to take care of you too,” you offer. Your cunt is still slick, aiding the glide of this length between your lips. They practically swallow his length, leaving his cock dripping with every shift between you. Jeongguk’s head feebly drops between the crock of your neck and shoulder, the muffled breathless moans that float from his throat a precious melody. Your fingernails drag down his back as his hips drive forward, back arching off the bed to meet his movements. Jeongguk doesn’t speak, gripping the base of your back to anchor himself between the folds of your cunt. His tip leaks with every slide against your cunt, bumping into your swollen clit whenever he gets too eager. It starts slow, his unravelling, before need takes hold and Jeongguk is manhandling you into place, the piston of his hips unforgiving. You let him use you, succumbing to the thrill of being the sole reason for his pleasure. Somehow, he looks cute too, chocolate waves swaying with every hard runt against you. His moans are delicate, a muffled array of curse words jumbled with the mantra of your name. Then you feel it, the taut pull of his spine under your fingertips, a stillness overtaking his body as he spills against the stretch of your stomach. It’s enough to create a warm milky white pool in the curve of your tummy, the bed sheets beneath you a fellow casualty.
Jeongguk stares at it in wonder, mouth partly agap, before he leans in with a lethal kiss to your throat. You arch into it, fingers tangled in the waves of his hair.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to do that,” he sheepishly murmurs. You like the way he looks post-orgasm, features glowing bright and a rosy hue flooding his skin. His eyes are so bright, flickering over your face like he’s not sure if he’s dreaming or wide awake. You pull his mouth to yours in reply to that, not caring at all that you’re covered in his cum.
“Let me clean you up,” Jeongguk offers, reluctantly stepping away from your perfect mouth. He returns with a warm damp cloth, diligently wiping you down with a tenderness that flusters you.  You are tended to gently, declining an offering of water that floats from Jeongguk’s bathroom as he wrings the clothes clean. When he’s done, you’ve already tucked your naked body back under the comforter, watching him patter around the room idly. The need to be held doesn’t hit you until Jeongguk is slipping into the bed beside you, his arms around stretched open to welcome your body. It’s a welcomed embrace that you easily fit into, your head and his chest perfect puzzle pieces. Jeongguk’s arms are firm around your figure, his heart beating languidly. Yet, your eyes can’t shut, something he takes note of moments later.
“What’s on your mind?” There’s a hint of apprehension colouring his voice, as if he’s afraid of what you might say.
You don’t know what you might say because you don’t even know what you’re thinking right now. It’s all a massive jumbled mess that feels like a collision of your heart and mind and desires. Jeongguk’s reassuring presence isn’t helping either, the comfort you’re deriving from being in arms is treacherous.
“I like it when you bite me,” you say instead, choosing the first ridiculous noncommittal thought in your head to vocalise.
Jeongguk chokes at that, his body tensing under yours. The twitch of his length against your thigh is a warning. “I’ll keep that in mind,” he says, drawing you close.
You try to ignore the implications of what he means by that, forcing your eyes shut to evade further questioning. You’re aware that Jeongguk said that knowing somebody changes the dynamics of a sexual relationship, but this, the way he was touching you—the way he’s holding you know feels like more than friendship. It feels like more than anything you’re ready for, even if you were eager to please mere moments ago. Which is honestly part of the problem. While you don't have much sexual experience, you know for a fact that fuckbuddies don’t derive happiness from each other. Not like this at least.
You decide to will your eyes shut for now, acutely aware of how fast Jeongguk has fallen asleep beside you. Whatever this is—whatever this feeling constricting your chest is—you’ll deal with it tomorrow. Or maybe you won’t. All you know is that this is starting to get too close for comfort.
Jeongguk awakens from the best sleep of his life to a nose full of bright cherry and jasmine. It swirls around his heart, his eyes blinking away the night before in favour of the late bright sunlight bleeding through his blinds. His hands move instinctively, searching for the warm body he knows is there. Instead, they are greeted by empty air, a coolness in the sheets that snaps his mind awake. His spine springs up in attention, hazy gaze clearing as he examines the room. There’s no evidence of you, the clothes he had nearly stumbled over last night absent from his bedroom floor. For a moment, Jeongguk’s brain fails to process what it all means; the empty bed, the cleaned floor, the silence in his room. Then his heart hurtles into his gut with a force that cracks right through its centre. You’re gone. You fled from his room like he was a shameful secret—even worse, you’d fled from him the way Jeongguk did to girls he met on nights out. Probably creeped out of his arms, plucking your clothes up while he was dead asleep. His head careens with the information, the realisation slowly sinking in as he slides back beneath the sheets of his bed, blatantly ignoring the sudden ache flowing from his chest.
He’s not sure what he did to deserve this, not when he’d be fairly honest with you last night. Or was it his honesty that drove you away—again. It’s too much for his hungover brain to organise, the dismay sitting in his gut unhelpful. And then a series of rapid notifications that lures his gaze to his phone on his bedside table. The fluttering in his stomach dies instantly when his eyes land on the messenger ID. It’s Mingyu, the partial reason for his current state of despondency. His chest splits when he realises there’s not a single text from you either.
Jeongguk tosses his phone into the corner of his room, roughly yanking his comforter over his head with a wish for the sun to disappear ringing loud in his head.

Hello! Can I request 17 37 42 44 from you February prompt list for Namjoon please? 😊
Put a Pin in it.
Tumblr media
You shut of the blaring alarm and lie back down, desperate to get just a few more moments of warmth before you start the day. Namjoon’s arm snakes across your waist as he lets out a tired groan.  You smile fondly, moving your hand so you can run your fingers through his newly dyed grey hair.
“Why do we have to get out of bed?” his voice is muffled by the pillow he has buried his face into, but you can still hear the pout.
“Because… we have things to do, people to see… or more accurately, you have things to do and people to see, I’m just the loving girlfriend that agree to come with you regardless of the ungodly hour.” You glance at the time on your phone. 6 a.m. You pull back the covers, but instead of releasing you, Joon shifts more of his weight onto you. He has you pinned down. You couldn’t move even if you wanted to.
“Nope, not today.” He nuzzles into your stomach. Trailing little kisses where your pj’s have ridden up. You squirm, the soft pecks making you ticklish. Pushing at him does nothing, all the hours he has put into his body have made it impossible for you to escape his clutches. “Let’s put a pin in it. I’ll text them all. Tell everyone we are incapable of leaving the house anymore. We are going to stay here forever and ever and ever...”
“I love you so much… please shut up.” He lifts his face off of your tummy, puppy dog eyes boring into you. He fakes a sniffle and nearly gets you to relent. “No, your mother will blame me if we don’t turn up for lunch, Yoongi will have a fit if you aren’t in the studio, and JK will just be really sad. Do you want to make the boy sad?” your voice sounds a lot stronger than your resolve. If he had pushed anymore you would’ve given up. Luckily, he didn’t. Instead he sat up properly and stretched, the sliver of his toned stomach peeking under his shirt distracting you from getting out of bed.
“Fine, just one more kiss?” it wasn’t really a question, he had already pulled you close to him. He kissed you gently.
“EW… morning breath.” You push at his chest as he showers you with more kisses. When he finally releases you from the onslaught, you slide off the bed.
“You don’t have to come with me you know? You could get back into bed and stay here all day, I wouldn’t mind.” He always feels so bad when he drags you to work with him, especially when a visit from his parents was involved.
“Are you trying to get rid of me?” you gasp in mock betrayal. He stands and makes his way to you faster than you would’ve thought possible.
“What?! No never, but… I” Sleepy Joon is always caught off guard when you play with him like this. You lean into his embrace.
“Good because you’re never going to get rid of me.”
“And I would never want to.”

anon requested : hi sweetie ♡ i hope you're still accepting requests cause i would LOVE if you could give us a little angst where wonho wants to have kids/babies but you dont
🦋a/n : Wonho angst!! YAY🙃 (jk I love writing angst I just hurt my own feeling in the process lol) I hope you enjoy angel! thank you for requesting! ❤️
{11:12𝖕𝖒} His hand was running across you stomach as you both laid in the bed. You were and Hoseok were watching a kids baking show on the cooking channel.
"Look how cute they are!" he would say every one in a while. His hand softly trailing you skin whenever he lost focus in the show.
"Are you watching the kids being cute or the actual reason for the show? Baking" you asked, turning to look at him and resting you chin on his chest.
"You don't think it's cute?" he asked. Smiling down at you.
"I do." you answered honestly. His hand laying on your lower back.
"Imagine when we have our own one day?" he asked. You smile dropped and he tilted his head a bit.
"Hoseok... We've spoken about this already. I don't want kids." you say, sitting off his chest.
"Well yeah. But who's to say in the future you don't change your mind?" he says, resting his hands behind his head as he stays laying down.
"Me. I'm to say. I already told you I don't want kids. I don't want to be responsible for someone else life when I'm barely capable of holding together mine. Let alone, have a baby while you're working so much. You'd be on the road all the time, come home late hours, I don't want that for my child." you said, your voice getting a bit louder than you intended it to.
"That's your problem. You come up with any excuse. It's always about you. A relationship is two people. Not just you. I understand not wanting my to be gone all the time but don't throw that shit up at me. You knew what came along when you decided to be with me." He said, sitting up. His breathing got a bit heavier.
"I al-" you were cut off when he out his hand up.
"Let me finish. Even if we did have a baby while I still have my career being so hectic, I would be an amazing father to my child. Don't push your insecurities onto me because you're scared or incapable of acting caring for other people." he says, his eyes piercing you like daggers.
"Incapable? That's low. Even for you" you said, as you started getting off the bed.
"I didn't mean it like that, babe" he said, sighing and pushing his hand through his blond hair.
"Yes. Yes you did. You don't have to like to make me feel better. You said what you said and I'm sorry but I don't want children. If you want children tht I'm so 'incapabable' of giving to you maybe that's it." you say walking into the bathroom and locking the door behind you. His hand hit the door softly when he realized you locked the door.
"Fuck!" he yelled, before you heard the bedroom door slam shut.

“When you ask your boyfriend for a relaxing vacation you don’t exactly expect him to take you to Disneyland out of all places. Luckily, Jungkook knows just how to get you to relax — being needy is definitely not the way. Or is it…”

A/N: These tags make it sound so nasty lol, it’s rlly sweet I promise :((
Tumblr media
Normally, you ease your feelings of anxiety by finding a way to tightly hold on to your boyfriend. Now, as you sit in the car stuck in the worst traffic you’ve ever been in, you have to opt for holding his hand. Jungkook lets you play with his fingers, only pulling away to shift gears.
His hand is warm, and his soft voice accompanies the gentle tunes that the radio is playing right now. You wish you could relax, but you’re already so on edge that every little shock of the car makes you want to yelp.
“Can’t you just tell me where we are going?” you whine for the sixth time. To be precise, you’d asked for a relaxing vacation. Jungkook keeping the destination a surprise was not relaxing. Nor was the fact that he’d forgotten his phone charger and that you were now stuck in traffic because you had to go back home and get it. “Please Jungkook.”
He sighs deeply, fingers squeezing yours. “We’re going to Disneyland.”
Abruptly, you drop his hand. “I’m sorry, I don’t  think I heard you right. Did you say Disneyland?”
He smiles, a sight that you adore more than anything. However, right now as you ponder over the thought of having to spend your relaxing vacation in Disneyland, you don’t find yourself returning the gesture.
“Yeah, Disneyland, that’s what I said.”
You zip your mouth shut, pursing your lips and opting to stare out the window. Jungkook knows you. He should know you’re not a fan of theme parks or anything crowded like that. On the contrary, you hate it. You said relaxing, not seriously nerve wracking, but you don’t know how to tell him this without coming across as a total bitch.
He must’ve spent a lot of money to get the tickets, and from how excited he was the entire morning you know that he’s hyped about going. You just wish you’d feel the same.
“What’s wrong?” he asks, grabbing your hand and jostling it.
You shake your head. “Nothing, just keep your eyes on the car in front of you please.”
It’s not that Jungkook can’t drive. It has more to do with the fact that you’re stuck in traffic and Jungkook’s attention span seems to be shortening by the minute.
The last time the two of you got stuck in traffic was about two years ago, when you’d barely started dating officially. He’d taken you out to meet his brother and somehow you’d ended up spending half your day on the road. The other half was spent on the side of the road because he’s hit the car in front of him when he’d stopped paying attention.
You’ve been dating for a little over two years now — two years and two months, to be precise — happily so. Jungkook means everything to you, even if he’s put you through some seriously scream-worthy situations. Though, if he hadn’t crashed his car that day he might not have asked you to be his girlfriend so early on. Truth it, you‘d do almost anything for Jungkook. However, you’re already in a bad mood today and you’re not sure if you’re willing to go to Disneyland for him.
Even if you’re glad for every second you get to spend with him, you’re bummed you’re going to have to share that with thousands of other people. He could’ve probably rented a secluded cabin somewhere for half the price.
“You’re upset.” Jungkook doesn’t phrase this as a question — he doesn’t have to. He takes a proper hold of your hand, fingers encasing yours completely. “Talk to me.”
You sigh. “What part of me asking for a relaxing vacation did you not understand?”
“What?” Jungkook looks at you briefly, this time with wide, concerned eyes. Upon the sight you feel the guilt settle in your chest.
“Kook, sweetheart, theme parks and relaxing don’t exactly go hand in hand in my mind.” You choose your words carefully, if anything you don’t  want to upset him. You‘re not mad, you’re just…stressed.
“Oh.” He falls silent, lips parted as traffic finally starts clearing up again. Jungkook drives in silence, eyes forward on the road with both hands on the wheel now. You know he’s mauling over his thoughts, not sure what to say.
Neither are you to be honest. You already feel so guilty for saying anything in the first place that you’re not sure if you can mend the impact of your words. He’s hurt and you want to comfort him, tell him it’s okay. However, it’s not okay, you’re not excited to go to Disneyland and you wish you could do something about it but you can’t.
You find yourself sitting curled up in the passenger seat, stomach twisting anxiously as Jungkook takes you to the planned destination. The mere thought of having to stand in line, go through masses of people to get food, and be surrounded by screaming kids and crowds the entire time was not helping your emotions. It’s not that you’re especially anxious in social settings, it’s just that you’re tired and this is your first weekend off in months. You just want to be along with your boyfriend, sleep, eat, relax, and maybe have sex — definitely cuddle.
After what feels like an eternity in awkward silence, Jungkook finally turns onto the parking lot. Not that it means you’ve arrived. No, it takes him at least thirty minutes to find the one free spot among the mass of cars.
Jungkook parks the car, taking a deep breath. “Do you want me to drive back home?” He gives you the same concerned look, a pout threatening to form on his lips. “I’m sorry that I didn’t think this through. If you want to go back and spend the weekend at home that’s fine with me too.”
You shake your head immediately, turning towards him and taking his hand from where it’s still grasping the wheel. “No, Kook. It’s just that I’m stressed and I — You spent a lot of money on this, and I know you meant well. So lets just go and try to make the best of it. Yeah?”
Jungkook’s eyes light up again at your words, nodding excitedly and exiting the car. Once you meet him by the trunk he catches you off guard with a bone-crushing hug. His arms wrap around your waist and you’re easily lifted off the ground. You squeal, but return the hug and giggle into his shoulder. Even now, when you truly feel like shit, Jungkook is able to alleviate your mood just a little.
Being with Jungkook didn’t come easy. At first you didn’t think you were compatible in the slightest. You never thought you’d ended up dating a highly energised boy with a strange combination of passions for working out, video games, and singing — in that order. Even if Jungkook is good at everything he does, there’s one thing that made him defy all odds and capture your heart. It’s the way he makes you feel at ease. All you need is a simple smile, or a good look at those big, sparkly eyes and you feel like you’ll be able to get through the day.
Now lets hope that you’ll get through three days in giant-playground hell.
It comes to no surprise to you that Jungkook managed to scrounge up enough money and get you a room in the most expensive hotel on the premise. It’s all soft pinks, blues and whites and you want to glare at him for even daring to spend this much money on you. What got into his pretty little head. There was no need for him to break the bank on a simple holiday. Sadly, your boyfriend is incapable of doing things half-assed.
“Come on.” Jungkook grabs your hand again, something that comforts you a little as you move through the people who stand in the lobby. It luckily didn’t take too long for him to get the key, and now you’re finally on your way to the room.
Due to the horrific traffic, you’ve lost most of your first day already and you just want to get into bed and snuggle up to him. If anything that might make you feel better about this entire situation. You want to cuddle with him and sleep in really late, order breakfast in bed. Maybe you can make this trip a little more relaxing that way.
You gasp when Jungkook gentlemanly opens the door for you. It’s massive, a four post bed standing against the wall — it even has little pink drapes. “Jungkook!” you gasp, both in surprise and slight annoyance.
“I know, it’s so pretty,” he states, ushering you inside.
Once there, he cups your face in his hands and kisses you. His lips are soft with the texture of his cherry lip balm, and you can’t help but smile a little. He seems eager, leaving the suitcase aside and holding you close as he smooths his lips over yours. Jungkook is warm, and you’re eased by the press of his chest against yours. The fabric of his thin sweater is supple beneath your fingers where your hands slide up his sides.
A tiny moans comes from you as he traces the seam of your lips with his tongue. You part them eagerly, meeting him in the middle with a deep sigh. Within seconds your lost in him, kissing in the middle of the room with your arms wrapped around his narrow waist. It’s romantic, the way he loves you like this. Jungkook is physical, more so than vocal or emotional, he speaks with his body and right now all he’s saying is that he loves you.
It’s when he tries to guide you to the bed that you stop. “Jungkook,” you whisper.
He looks at you with those big eyes that make you want to kiss all over his face.
“Can we just cuddle tonight?” You know Jungkook, how he thinks, feels, needs. He was probably already planning on having sex with you in that gigantic bed tonight — that, or he was trying to make up for ruining your ‘relaxing’ vacation. Regardless, you’re way too tightly strung to have sex right now. Maybe once you feel a little more calm.
He pouts a little as you step away to open the suitcase on the bed. You know it won’t last, his pouting, because he knows that you only say no when you mean it. Right now you’re not going to give in to his cute little face.
Jungkook watches your eyes move as you unpack some of your toiletries and set them down in the bathroom. He’s half naked when you get back, sweater discarded on a large chair by the window. His abs flex as he stretches and you throw him the shirt he usually wears to bed — you’re not going to let yourself get wooed by his body. Even if he looks delectable beneath his clothing, he knows as well as you do that cuddles come first.
He remains shirtless as he follows you into the bathroom, wrapping his arms around you from behind as you take off your makeup. There’s a slight hum in his chest as he nuzzles you hair, only to kiss down and and gently mouth at your neck. The feeling of his lips is tantalising, they’re so soft and supple. He knows exactly where to touch you, your shoulders leaning into his ministrations.
“Jungkook,” you try again, but he doesn’t seem to mind your ingenuine protest. He keeps kissing up and down your neck, tongue trailing your skin as he sucks lightly — it’s not firm enough to leave a mark, but it feels good still. So good that you can feel your body relax in his grasp. “Jungkook, stop,” you giggle as his kisses turn more into little nips.
He chuckles against your skin, setting you more upright again as he meets your gaze in the mirror. “Are you sure you don’t want serious stress-relief tonight?”
You playfully roll your eyes, turning to face him and holding him by the waist. Jungkook is always especially warm there, huggable and pliable. “Only if stress-relief means cuddles.”
“But baby,” he whines softly. “Isn’t sex like…a bare necessity?”
Stunned, you snort at his words. Even if you won’t deny that it’s a little funny, you can’t believe he just made a Disney pun about sex. He got you pretty good there. Sadly, his grade A joke doesn’t get him any further with you.
“You know what’s also a bare necessity?” you say before giving him a soft peck. “Having a relaxing shower with your girlfriend without getting handsy.”
Jungkook stares at you.
You grip his bare waist more firmly. “I’m just tired, and stressed, and all I want right now is to hold my boyfriend — for him to tell me it’s all going to be okay. Can we just do that for tonight?”
He nods now. It’s probably the excitement, or the guilt he must’ve been feeling. His eyes have changed, his posture straightening up. You can’t blame him for not realising how stressed you actually were, you’ve been hiding it pretty well. But when he pulls you into a hug you’re relieved he’s as understanding as he is.
Despite Jungkook’s incessant ability to whine to get his way, he will quit when you’re being serious. He knows you well enough, doesn’t walk on eggshells around you like lot of people do. Just because you get anxious easily doesn’t mean that you’re to be treated like a sensitive child. On the contrary, you want to live life to the fullest, and Jungkook’s helping you do that.
It’s nice, the way he kisses you gently as he undresses you further.
“Can you keep it in your pants?” you ask as you turn the water on. The shower is large, but you know you won’t be needing much room. As always, Jungkook likes to stick as closely by your side as humanly possible.
He raises his eyebrows. “Do you think I have no self-restraint?”
Mimicking him, you raise yours too.
“Okay, okay, fine,” he sighs. “I promise, no frisky business. Now please get in the shower I’m going to freeze.” He shivers audibly and visibly, the hairs on his arms standing up in the cold bathroom.
The water on the other hand is warm, and you immediately feel your muscles relax as you get under the stream. Jungkook follows you, pressing himself tightly against your back as you let the water cascade down your bodies. You hand him the soap, letting him lather you up slowly and thoroughly. He massages the knots in your back and shoulders, thumbs digging into the muscles that are still aching from the long car ride.
He knows not only you, but your body, and you let out a satisfied little moan as he rubs the back of your neck. In response, he chuckles, kissing your temple and continuing his massage.
“Kook, if you want you can massage me properly later. Let me wash your hair before we shrivel up.” You motion for him to turn around as you fetch his shampoo from the sink. It smells like orange and cloves, a calming scent that now reminds you of him. He’s always preferred more natural scents over the ones that are usually used in things like men’s deodorant. It’s not something he’ll admit to, but he often steals your deodorant because he thinks it smells better.
His hair is soft, a strawberry blonde now from where he’d dyed it cherry pink on a whim weeks ago. When he’d come home with his new hair your pillow cases had already been weeping, but you’d surprisingly grown to love it. For all the years you’ve known him, his hair colour has ranged mainly between dark, chocolate brown and black. Seeing him with pink was like a breath of fresh air, and blonde is doing just as well.
It takes a lot of care, to keep his hair soft despite the bleaching. So you thoroughly massage the strands and rinse them out. He loves it when you wash his hair, it calms him as much as it calms you. He’s grown silent beneath your touch and you’re afraid he might just fall asleep on you. Driving for over six hours definitely wore him out.
Jungkook silently returns the favour, turning you around and washing your hair with care. He even goes as far as to put conditioner in and brush out all the little knots. There’s a comfort in the silence between the two of you and you find your bad mood clearing up more and more.
Once clean, Jungkook insists on drying you off, and you giggle as he wraps you into this huge, pink, fluffy towel. “Are you feeling a little better?” he asks when you sit wrapped up on the closed toilet. Another little quirk of your boyfriend is that he has to completely dry his hair before he goes to bed, so you watch him quickly take the blowdryer and turn his hair into a mess. You get a good look of his back muscles as he does so.
“A little,” you hum. You’re still stressed — mentally at least. Your body however is ready for snuggles and sleep. “I’m going to get dressed, don’t overheat your hair.” When you pass him, you press a stray kiss into the cusp of his shoulder that now smells like oranges and cloves.
As usual, you wear on of Jungkook’s oversized t-shirts to bed. The fact that he wears tighter shirts to bed than he does when he goes outside has always been a mystery to you. Just another one of those little things you learnt to love about him. His shirt is huge on you, the white material soft and lightly scented from a recent wash.
Your heart flutters a little when he exits the large bathroom, his hair all fluffy and soft. It makes him look a lot younger than he is, though many people often take him to be older. Luckily, you’re aware that he usually acts younger, his pouting and whining attesting to that. You love him no less because of it, if anything it makes you love him more.
Jungkook is very attuned to the people around him, he’s observing and caring. Depending on the situation he can be more serious, or childish — definitely one of his strong suits. The one thing about Jungkook that you wish would change is how hard he could be on himself. Something that shines through now as he stares as you sitting on the edge of the large, canopy bed.
There’s an awkwardness in his steps as he pulls his shirt over his head, a hesitation to join you on the bed. You grasp his hand, pulling him to stand in front of you so you can look up at him.
“Jungkook, tell me what’s on your mind.” There’s callouses on his fingers that are rough against your palm as you hold his hands tightly, slightly swinging from side to side.
He sighs, shoulders drooping. “I’m sorry.” There’s a little waver in his voice that you know all too well.
You stand up quickly, wrapping your arms around his neck and holding him close. He sinks into you, arms hugging you tightly around your waist — so tight you can barely breath for a moment. The slight nuzzle of his nose into your still damp hair hides the shakiness of his breath as he tried to hold himself in.
“It’s okay Jungkook,” you say as you run your fingers through his hair.
“I don’t know,” he mumbles, “I just thought that coming here would make you feel better, because you’ve been so stressed the past months. I completely overlooked the fact that you wanted something actually relaxing. I just wanted to make you feel happy and I fucked up.”
You shake your head, cupping his cheeks. “Look at me.” He casts his eyes up and you’re glad to find them void of tears. “You didn’t fuck up. You tried your best, I know you did this for me and I should’ve been more appreciative. Lets just go out tomorrow and see how it goes.” You kiss his cheek, smiling gently at him.
Luckily, he eases up, returning your hug once more before catching you off guard by throwing you onto the large bed. You almost scream when you bounce on the soft mattress.
“If you throw me around one more time jungkook! I swear to God I will smack you!”
He laughs at your dramatic state, pulling the sheets from under you and quickly settling under them. Jungkook holds you as close as possible. Luckily for both of you, the air-conditioning in this room is good and you can comfortably settle into each other’s sides without sweating buckets. Not that that ever stops him, but it’s not something you’re particularly fond of.
His nose is pressed into your hair as you lay your head on his chest, right over where you can hear his heartbeat. He wraps his arms around you, fingers settling on your waist to make sure you can’t escape in the middle of the night. Sleeping like this is routine for you, even if you haven’t moved in together. Your apartment is usually your choice of home, and recently there’s been unfinished talks of the two of you living together — mostly in the form of fleeting comments and little jokes. But you really do think about moving in with him.
“Babe?” Jungkook whispers.
“Hmm?”
“Tomorrow, can you promise to give me control over the tickets and stuff? We can get a map and mark all the attractions we want to see first. We can get fast-passes and try to skip as many of the long lines as possible. Just let me take care of everything, okay? I promise I’ll look after you.” His voice is muffled by your hair and you seek out his hand to intertwine your fingers.
Giving Jungkook the control over the trip has you a little uneasy, only because you’re normally the one making sure everything runs smoothly. But, if you want to relax this might be the way to go about it. “Okay, I think I can do that.”
He tightens his fingers around yours, shifting into a more comfortable position. “If at any point you feel tired or stressed, we can just go back to the room. I want you to have fun, I don’t want this to drain you even more.”
You nod, pressing a small kiss to the skin just above his collar. “Thank you. I love you.”
“I love you too.”
He settles into you, holds you and protects you from whatever may come. Like this you feel safest. Now you can relax and hope for sleep to find you. Nothing heals you more than being in Jungkook’s arms and you hope it’ll be enough to make you properly enjoy the next few days.
__________
The next morning you wake to an empty bed and you stretch your fingers over the spot where Jungkook was supposed to be. Waking up alone wasn’t how you planned to start this day. “Kookie,” you whine, still half asleep. There’s no reply that follows, and you turn onto your back with a huff. It’s not until his soft grunts reach your ear that you realise what’s going on. “Jungkook,” you deadpan. “Are you really doing sit-ups right now?”
“Yes.” His answer is short, the exertion clear in his voice.
You find him lying on the floor by the foot of the bed, exercising his stomach muscles — truly an unnecessary practice at this moment. His abs are great, they will not disappear if he decides to cut this nonsense and sleep in with you for once. “We’re on a holiday, can’t you like…rest for once?”
Jungkook collapses onto the floor, cheat heaving after completing his reps. He gives you a stern look. “I’ve explained you before that if I want to maintain strength and muscle mass I wi—“
“Yeah, yeah.” You wave him off, sitting up. “Just go shower, it’s already 9am.”
He laughs, bending over the bed on his way to come kiss you. His chest is covered in a thin sheen of sweat and you try to push him off when he starts kissing down your neck teasingly. He chuckles into your skin, your fingers trailing up his bare sides out of habit.
You know where this is going. After dating Jungkook for this long you know what makes him tick — post workout sex definitely being on his list of needs. It’s something you certainly had to get used to. With a hand carding through his hair you turn to kiss him him softly.
“Jungkook…”
He pouts. “But—“
“Oh please,” you chuckle. “I love you, I love having sex with you. You know that. But I’d rather not wear let you wear out before the day has even started.”
With a sigh, he plops down beside you. “But you’re going to be tired tonight, no?”
“Most likely.”
An exasperated groan leaves his lips as he gets up from the bed to go shower. He gives you one doe-eyed look, a playful one that contradicts his previous actions — he’s not usually this cute in bed.
You chuckle again. “If all you wanted on this vacation was to have sex with me, you should’ve gone for a resort. We could’ve had sex all day long. You’re the one who chose to spend money on a theme park — money that I refuse to let go to waste.” As much as you still weren’t looking forward to being amongst a mass of people and noise, you know you’ll feel guilty afterwards if you don’t go. Maybe you can take Jungkook upon his ‘stress-relief’ offer tomorrow. You’re certain he has some tricks up his sleeve.
He narrows his eyes at you, knowing very well that you have a solid point. If anything he can decide to jerk off in the shower because you’re not caving to him right now. It’s the price he’ll have to pay for taking you to Disneyland. Not that he would ever actually get mad at you for saying no. He’s no stranger to the fact that his sex drive is much higher than yours. You’ve never taken his pouting and slight begging as any sort of pressure, he never intends it as such. It’s just what he does, with everything.
Jungkook showers while you braid your hair in the bathroom and you have to keep wiping the mirror to make sure you can properly see yourself. The room is filled with the sounds of Jungkook singing Bare Necessities way too perfectly in tune even with the water pelting down on him. He showers quickly, and dries off only to meet you fiddling with the backpack in the bedroom.
“Stop that,” he says, pressing his warm chest into your back. The bag is taken out of your hands. “This is mine for today. You get to carry around your phone and your wallet. That’s it.”
You want to object, but you know what you agreed to the night before. Still, you’re stressed. You wonder if this is a good idea — you wish you could just snuggle back into bed with him again. Maybe you should’ve let him keep kissing you.
“Hey.” He turns you around, brushing his lips over the tip of your nose. “It’s going to be okay. What was it that Timon said? Hakuna Matata?”
“I think it was Pumbaa who said that.” Your voice is a mumble that dies into his kiss. His lips are indulgent, sliding over yours in a practiced manner. It’s a gentle kiss, one that comes with his hands smoothing down your back and your eyes fluttering closed.
Jungkook giggles into your lips when you stumble back a little, and he holds you from falling. “I’m pretty sure it was Timon.”
“Was not!” you exclaim, narrowing your eyes.
The discussion goes on for a while, he isn’t sure enough of his statement to pull out his phone and google it. Jungkook gets dressed, you put on your makeup, and you’re out of the door still low key squabbling about who exactly said Hakuna Matata first. Truly, you’re certain that you’re right, but you let Jungkook argue with pursed lips and wide eyes just because it’s cute.
Once outside you’re immediately hit with a mass of people. There’s a gigantic line in front of the park that makes you want to crawl back into bed. You should’ve left earlier, before the lines. This was a sign of how long of a day today would be, and you haven’t even had breakfast yet.
Jungkook takes your hand, interlacing your fingers and pulling you close to his side. He’s wearing an oversized t-shirt and those loose, dark grey pants he’s been wearing a lot lately. They have those little pockets and belts on the legs that look really good on him. Though, you’re still impartial to his tight, ripped skinny jeans.
In line, you don’t talk much, you’re a little overwhelmed with the amount of people and Jungkook tries to reassure you that it’ll be calmer inside the park. Maybe you do have a bit of an issue with crowds, or it’s just because you’re already stressed. Whatever it may be, having your boyfriend by your side makes you feel a little more secure. He seems to be holding himself back a for your sake, normally he’d be jumping up and down in a situation like that. After all, he’s still a kid at heart.
The crowd does disperse a lot inside, and you walk around freely near the entrance area in search of some food. You opt for donuts and some hot chocolate, walking further down to find a calm place to sit. You’re amazed at how beautiful the park is — all bright colours and pretty building and you stop to stare at the big castle marking the centre. It’s tall, and you wonder if you can go up to the top.
Jungkook chuckles as you stop, hand still clasped around yours. “We can go there if you want.”
You look up at him. “We can ?”
He nods, both his hot chocolate and your bag of donuts in one hand. “Yeah, I think you can take the stairs to the top. Would probably be a good workout for your cute butt.”
“Jungkook!” you scowl. “We’re in public!”
He’s laughing, bright smile showing bunny teeth that earned him one of the nicknames you use for him — sparingly so. He doesn’t always like being called ‘bunny’, especially around his friends. It’s cute that he lets you call him that sometimes, it’s something that just sort of slipped in.
The same way that Jungkook manages to easily slip you off to one side of the park after you’ve finished eating your breakfast. You immediately find yourself standing in line for an attraction. It quickly becomes clear why he chose this one. The Buzz-Lightyear themed ride features a shooting aspect and boy foes he do a little victory wiggle when he beats you.
You‘re not sure if he intentionally chose this, but you find yourself way more focused on the ride than your stressed out feelings when you go for a rematch. With all your power and ability you try to do better, but Jungkook still beats you by far. So, he gets to choose the next ride. Conveniently, his choice is right next door.
With a gleeful grin he pulls you towards the dark building housing some sort of rollercoaster. Space…something? You’re not sure because as soon as you’re inside the dark passage way for the line he pulls you into his chest and kisses you. It’s full of smiles and lingering touches and you find yourself seeking support on his shoulders as he stands against the wall. Both your arms circle around his neck as he lightly sucks on your bottom lip. There’s tingles running up your spine as he parts your lips with his, a soft groan tumbling from his throat.
You’re soon interrupted by the sound of people coming through the hall you’re currently hiding in. Jungkook parts from you, quickly turning to guide you forward as if you weren’t just starting to make out right there. With flushed cheeks you reach the end of the line and Jungkook leans in to whisper in your ear about almost getting caught just now.
Where he seems unbothered, you feel a little more uneasy about it. Though, you’re not sure if the pounding of your heart is because Jungkook kissed you out of nowhere like that, or wether it is because people almost caught you. The feeling of his lips on yours lingers and he gives you a knowing look, leaning in to peck your lips a few times in quick succession.
You find these — you’re not even sure what to call Jungkook catching you off guard like that almost every other place you go to. Kissing him like that feels a little risky, but you can’t deny that you struggle to focus on anything else but him when he kisses you. Like the way he folds his fingers over your hips, or how he slides them into your hair. The warm feeling of his lips and the slight tease of his tongue against yours. It’s toe-curling.
“Jungkook,” you chuckle as he kisses you by the carousel. “There’s kids here, stop this.” His hand hovers dangerously low on your back and you shove him with your shoulder. The laugh he lets out fills your chest with warmth and you make sure he doesn’t stray too far from your side.
By now you’re certain the shape of his fingers is moulded between yours. He makes sure to keep holding hands when you’re walking around at all times. It’s comforting as you follow him around the park. Luckily, you’ve already gotten to see the one attraction you marked on the map, the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Now, you find yourself joining the line to the Teacups even if you’d just eaten a bunch of snacks. Jungkook pulls you to lean against his chest as you wait in the shade. You toy with one of his bracelets as he places his hands over your stomach, kissing the top of your head.
Someone suddenly pulls your boyfriend’s shirt, making both of you look down to find a little boy standing next to you with a Mickey Mouse shaped lollipop in his hands. “Don’t you know she has cooties?” the kid exclaims with wide eyes.
Both you and Jungkook laugh at the comment. “Well,” Jungkook starts, pecking your cheek. “I’m not afraid of her cooties.”
You step on his toe in warning, worried that he’s going to make this weird somehow. “Jungk—“
“Why not?” the kid questions as the mom takes his hand and shoots you an apologetic look. Both of you wave it off.
“I’ll tell you a secret.” Jungkook lets go of you to get on his hunches in front of the boy. “She’s my girlfriend, and I love her very much.”
You blush as his words as if he doesn’t tell you he loves you every single day. Yet, it’s still strange to hear it come out of his mouth like this to a stranger.
The boy stares at him in awe, little eyes wide and confused. “So you ‘re like Aladdin and princess Jasmine?!”
Jungkook smiles wide with a nod. “Yes, exactly like that. And one day,  you will find your princess too.”
At his words the kid immediately scrunches up his nose. “Ew, no! I don’t want a girlfriend!”
The conversation is sadly interrupted by the line moving on, and you find yourself laughing until your stomach hurts as Jungkook does his best to make your teacup spin as fast as possible. Both of you stumble over yourself when you exit, holding onto the rails and eachother white painful check from how wide you’re smiling.
Later, you find yourself slowly climbing up the countless flights of stairs in the castle. You said you wanted this, but the burning in your legs makes you regret your decision. Jungkook on the other hand seems fine, and you curse yourself for not going to the gym with him more often. The pain is worth it though, from the top balcony you can look out over the entire park.
Jungkook is holding you tightly to him and you turn to look up at him and seek out his lips. They’re sweet, and he seems a little taken aback that you’re the one kissing him this time. He responds with a small gasp followed by a sigh, one hand coming up to cup your cheek as the other rests over yours on the balustrade. This time however, the kiss lasts longer, both of you forgetting that you’re not alone. His tongue slips past your lips and you meet him halfway, kissing him with a slight smile. Your toes curl at the feeling, so full in your chest. Jungkook dips a little deeper, nose brushing against yours while you trail a hand up his back.
The second you hear someone clear their throat you stop, cheeks turning red and hiding your face in the crook of Jungkook’s neck. He  apologises under his breath, nosing into your hair while both of you calm down a little. Your chest is pressed against his and you force your stomach to stop fluttering in excitement.
“We should probably go back downstairs,” Jungkook whispers in your ear.
You nod, following him down the stairs and finding yourself in a shop trying on various weird headbands. Most of them have Mickey Mouse ears in various colours, but you opt for the ones that are a plain black, checking yourself out in the mirror.
Jungkook has briefly left your side to go check out the t-shirts. His sudden whisper in your ear scares the living day-light out of you. “Please fuck me with those Mickey Ears on.”
You whirl around, relieved to see that nobody is near but you smack him in the chest anyways.
“Hey!” he yelps, rubbing his harmed peck.
“Jungkook! We’re in public, you need to stop trying to rile me up!” you squeal.
He frowns, stepping closer. “Is it working?” There’s a suggestive wiggle of his eyebrows that indicates he’s joking but you still shoot him a glare. “Well, I for one think that I’ll be thinking about that kiss just now for a few days.”
Quickly, you cover his mouth with your hand. “Stop it!” It’s half-hearted, because you laugh while doing so. It’s the lick he gives to your palm that makes you retreat. You wipe his own spit on his shirt with a scowl.
Jungkook ends up buying you the ears, saying that they do actually look cute on you — not that you don’t believe him. It’s just that now you’re actually thinking about having sex with him while wearing them, which is not much of a pleasing thought. He really knows how to get you just annoyed enough to pout at him but never annoyed enough to get you angry. A magic line.
“So, where to now?” he asks, munching on a cookie.
“I know that it’s not here, but I want to go in that hotel thing.” You remember seeing it on the map when you were eating breakfast, and it looked really fun. Normally, you’re not one to go for scary rides, but that one looked interesting. That said, Jungkook will pull you to do anything so you’re gradually being forced out of your roller-coaster fear. He just needs to stop joking about taking you bungee jumping.
Eventually, Jungkook manages to navigate you back to the entrance and towards the other park where that ‘hotel thing’ is. Well, it doesn’t appear to be what you thought it’d be. You quickly find yourself holding onto your boyfriend’s arm as you are shoved into a tiny room with a bunch of other people.
“Don’t worry, it’s just part of the show,” Jungkook whispers into your ear as he strokes his fingers up and down your back. Meanwhile, your eyes can’t stop eyeing the screen on which an eerie video starts playing. It’s upon the loud crashing sound of thunder that you jump and Jungkook has to shield you from whatever is happening. Once you enter the next waiting aree, he’s laughing about it. Sadly, your heart Is still pounding and it takes him a few seconds to realise that you’re actually terrified.
His laughter quickly dies then, and he spends five minutes hugging you and trying to make sure you’re okay — even asking if you want to leave. To this, you shake your head. You’re determined to stay because you didn’t just go through all of that to just walk out. Jungkook holds your hand, all the way into the elevator.
He doesn’t let go once the ride goes up, and you squeeze his fingers when the ride suddenly free-falls thirteen stories. Your stomach lurches and tingles with the drop, a scream being forced out of your lungs followed by ecstatic laughter when the ride goes back up.
Once you exit, you’re giddy, adrenaline rushing through your veins. Jungkook follows you, catching you around the waist and crashing his lips to yousr for what seems like the hundredth time that day. However, this time it’s different. His lips are demanding, forceful on yours and you let him slip his tongue into your mouth to seek control. The way he suddenly moans into you has a shiver running up your spine.
His blonde hair is soft as you grip it, Jungkook not stopping. He keeps kissing you, swallowing all the little sounds you make as he nibbles and sucks on your bottom lip. Your fingers dig into the back of his neck, scratching lightly over his scalp. Your heart pounds and you feel like your floating. Both of you part with swollen lips and flushed cheeks — one look between the two of you is enough to know.
“Hotel room?” Jungkook asks, wiping a little smudge of lip balm from under your bottom lip. His are stained with the tint, and inviting sight.
You stare heaving chest, no longer paying attention to whoever might have just seen you make out with him. “Yeah.”
Now he’s excited, smile beaming and making butterflies erupt in your stomach. Jungkook and you all but sprint to the hotel room, rushing through the crowds, laughing and kissing on your way there. You stumble into the room, making out well before you get the door open.
Jungkook’s tongue slides into your mouth again and you keen, fingers digging into his shoulders. The door is shut, and the adrenaline finally starts to dissipate from your veins. Your heart steadies, the kiss slows, until the two of you are just lazily making out in the middle of the room. There’s little timid moans coming from his throat and you muffle them as you keep the kiss going. The same floating feeling appears again, gentle and steady as he holds you.
Kissing Jungkook has always been amazing. It’s something he does very passionately and tenderly. He’s able to tailor his kiss to the moment and right now, his kiss this is all you need to finally let the last bit of worry slip from your fingers. You realise — as he stops kissing you — that aside from your little breakdown in the Hollywood Tower Hotel, you’ve been having an amazing day. It’s been all smiles and laughter and just pure enjoyment. You haven’t even thought about work, or anything worrisome ever since you entered the park.
Is Jungkook’s strategy working?
He’s panting against your lips, forehead resting on yours. It seems as if words are lingering on his tongue but he’s unsure of how to say them — hesitating. He brushes his nose against yours.
“You okay?” you ask.
Jungkook nods. “Yeah, I just — I want to make sure you’re feeling okay.”
You frown, leaning back a little. “Yeah, I’m great, why are you asking all of a sudden?”
A sigh leaves his lips, fingers tightening around your waist. “I feel bad about whining for sex, and I don’t know if you want to right now or if I’m still overstepping.”
“Overstepping?” you repeat. “Jungkook, you were never overstepping baby.” You touch his cheek, making sure he keeps his gaze on you. With your hand in his you pull him to sit down on the bed. “Don’t worry about such things, I know you’d never to anything to pressure me. You stopped playing and whining as soon as I said I was serious. All is good bun.”
The same pout you are mentioning appears on his lips, slightly jutting out as his eyes widen in concern. “I just feel bad.”
“Well,” you say, swinging a leg over his and settling in his lap. “You don’t have to. I trust you to respect my boundaries but if you’re really worried about overstepping we can always be more explicit with consent.”
“How?”
Your fingers trace the collar of his white t-shirt, his hands settling firmly on your waist as you rest on his thighs. Jungkook awaits your words with parted lips, cheeks still tinted a slight pink. Every word you said was truthful, you didn’t think he would feel this way about his own actions. In your eyes, Jungkook’s soft begging is just a cute quirk, not a manipulative trick. Hell, he whines even when you do give in to him.
There is one solid way to make your point however. You slowly trail one hand down his chest to grip the waistband of his pants through his shirt. “Do you want me to suck you off, baby?”
His eyes widen, eyebrows raising to disappear under his light fringe. “Are you being serious?”
You let out a chuckle, breath fanning over his cheek as you lean in to his ear. “Very serious. I think you deserve a reward for taking care of me so well today.” Your fingers settle tighter around his waistband, fingers pushing the fabric of his shirt deeper. “But only if you want to.”
“Yes, please,” he begs almost, eyes fluttering closed as you place a soft kiss on his earlobe. Immediately, he turns more pliant upon you peppering soft kisses down his jawline and neck, soft sighs emanating through the room. The faint scent of orange and cloves still lingers on his skin from his showers, but it’s mixed with the faint smell of sweat and his perfume. It’s familiar, and almost comforting. He presses your chest to his, a tempered moan breaking his resolve as you properly settle over his crotch.
It’s never taken a lot of work to get him going, he’s as eager as always. Eager to please, and to be pleased. Jungkook is never static, never the same, and tonight you can feel his willingness to give you some of the reigns.
“Will you undress for me?” you ask, kissing back up to his cheek.
Jungkook looks at you, still coming back from wherever his mind had wandered as you kissed him. He shakes himself, licking his lips. “Wait, when you’ll give me a blowjob, do you mean…” he trails his words, too shy to speak what he’s thinking.
This is why you never worried about Jungkook crossing boundaries — you had a really long and hard talk about it when the two of you became more serious. Both of you were completely transparent about what you liked and disliked and neither of you ever went past that. When Jungkook gives you a doe-eyed look you know what he’s asking, and you’re willing to give it to him.
“Yeah, I do. So undress for me and lay back on the bed.”
Now he gives an eager nod as you slide off his lap. You turn your back on him, walking over to the suitcase to retrieve some stuff in cause you’d need it. It’s never certain how things are going to play out for the two of you, but you’re happy to see that Jungkook has listened to your request.
He’s sitting against the mass of pillows by the headboard, only wearing his boxers that fit snugly around his hips. There’s no denying his obvious arousal already straining against the light blue fabric. It gives you a sudden surge of pride, knowing that you can turn him on so easily.
The way his expectant gaze falls upon you makes you grow even bolder. You unbutton your jeans, slowly sliding them down your legs as he watches, no words spoken. There’s no rule for that, but you quickly learnt with him that he likes being obedient from time to time. It’s something you’d originally been hesitant about, but after one try you’d definitely learnt to love it.
Once you have discarded your jeans, you crawl over the bed, sliding your hand up his bake leg. You whisper his name, kissing up his stomach. He hums in reply, closing his eyes and throwing his head back as you keep going up and up and up until you reach his collarbone. There, you slightly sink in your teeth. “I said, undress. That means everything.”
He blushes all the way down to his chest as you speak softly into his skin. Under you, he shifts, quickly getting rid of his boxers and laying down more properly.
“Good, now relax for me baby.” With a hand on his chest you reassure him. You kiss back down his chest, mouth hovering briefly over his nipple to flick your tongue at it and watch him arch his back into it. The little gasp he lets out is like music to your ears.
By the time you’re done lavishing your mouth over his torso he is fully hard and waiting for your with squirming hips. You press him down, and he whines in the back of his throat as your fingers brush so close to where he needs you. Though, he knows you won’t go down on him until he lays still, so he obliges with your gesture.
“Please,” he begs as you suck on the skin right under his hip-bone. He marks so easily there, you can never resist to nibble a little firmer.
“You ready?” you ask, tracing a pattern with your tongue right beside the base of his member that lays hard on his stomach.
He nods again, eyes shut tightly, head buried in the pillows. “Yeah, please just — fuck.” He groans loudly, fist coming up between his teeth to stifle his sounds as soon as you put your tongue on him.
You lick up from base to tip, savouring the salty taste of him as you curve to tease right under the crown. It drives him insane — he’s very sensitive. The second you wrap your lips around his tip he bucks his hips into your mouth and you have to give him a warning pinch at his side. He stills with a whispered apology, trying to control his breathing as you put your mouth back on him.
He is hot, twitching as you swirl your tongue around him. Jungkook whines — a gorgeous sound that you know you’ll hear a lot more of tonight. There’s nothing that makes him come faster than your mouth sinking down on his cock and sucking hard. He loves it. This is why most of the time, blowjobs are reserved for quickies — or a very long drawn out session that has him coming more than once. Tonight, it’s the latter.
You sink down, hand steadying him as you stretch your jaw to accommodate his length. With your tongue flattened at the underside, you hollow out your cheeks and start a tight rhythm that has him moaning loudly before you even manage to take him all the way. His sounds are like a symphony, sweet and drawn out. You’re spurred on by it, taking a deep breath before letting him slip into your throat.
Jungkook’s the one who chokes, hand coming up to your hair to hold you down. You breathe steadily as you let him, looking up to find him still with eyes closed. To grab his attention you touch him, hand sliding up his stomach to brush over a nipple.
“Babe — shit.” His words die as soon as he sees you looking up at him with glazed-over eyes and his cock stuffed in your mouth.
You chuckle, vibrations sending him into a frenzy. There’s no need to draw this out, you know he won’t last long. So you set up a steady bobbing, lips closed tightly around him as you watch him intently. His eyes are set on you, unable to look away as you make sure to flick your tongue over his slit every time.
The second his stomach starts to tighten under your hand you know to choose for pace over depth. Tonight, giving him head is only a means to a further play, one of which the thought alone could arouse him.
That’s the other reason he’s already bowing off the bed in pleasure. He grumbles, hand sliding from your hair and whining that he’s close.
You slide off with an obscene pop, a string of saliva connecting your lips to his tip. The sight of him so lost is enough to make you want to touch yourself, but you know that you’ll get your fill. It’s just a little more waiting.
With a tight grip you stroke him just right, short little bursts right over his tip. He moans, back arching off the bed again and then, you stop.
Jungkook trashes, blonde hair sticking to his forehead, lips pulled into a tight line as he hovers on the edge.
“More,” he whimpers as he sinks back into the mattress, breathing ragged.
You follow his guidance, wrapping your hand back around him to take him that little bit further — giving him that extra push until he —
Jungkook’s hand flies up to your wrist, stopping you mid motion as he twitches. You stare, his cock jumps once, twice, until cum starts to dribble from his tip. His entire body shivers, fingers almost bruising around your wrist as he moans softly.
As he comes down from his ruined high you straighten up, sliding your absolutely soaked panties down your legs and sitting over his lap. Jungkook’s eyes snap open the second he feels you over him. His hands immediately flying up to your thighs, fingers digging in.
“Wait,” he pants, trembling as you wrap your fingers around the base of his member again.
You soothe him, stroking him once to get him to whimper with overstimulation. There’s a little pool of cum on his stomach and you trail a finger through it, spreading it over his skin.
“Fuck,” he whispers as you stroke him again. After his peak he remains half-hard. Ever since you accidentally ruined his orgasm once, he’s gotten more and more into it.
With a small kiss to his chest, you meet his eyes briefly and shift up to position him at your entrance. “You ready?”
Jungkook whines again, fingers digging deeper into your thighs. There’s going to be bruises tomorrow, but you can’t care. Each little movement of your hand causes him to twitch and brush against your core as he’s slowly growing fully hard again.
“Words Jungkook.”
“Yes — fuck — yes, please.”
There’s nothing else you need to hear, finally letting him slip inside. You’re so wet and aroused you barely feel the stretch of him as the head breaches you easily. Jungkook shivers, thighs trembling as you sink down slowly. This is still one of the first times you have sex without a condom, and you’re still not prepared for the feeling. It’s like you can feel ever little ridge and vein as he presses against your walls. You have to hold yourself steady on his chest. Getting an IUD was the best decision you ever made.
Jungkook trashes violently, stomach muscles tightening as he hisses when you clench down on him. You can’t help it, it feels so, so good. It’ s divine and you feel your entire body quivering as you sit up. He slides even deeper, a choked moan coming from you as he hits all the right spots.
“Wait,” he croaks when you go to move, fingers tight on your waist to keep you to him. “I feel like I’m going to come already — just please wait.”
You listen to his words, spreading your thighs to rest comfortably. He slides so deep you have to control your own pelvic muscles, but you manage to relax a little as he waits for his sensitivity to pass. His chest heaves so beautifully, muscles straining and covered in sweat. Jungkook trembles, hands attempting to hold you as still as possible.
There’s nothing that could’ve prepared you for how good this would feel, and having him still bask in the pleasure-pain of overstimulation under you is only adding to your arousal. You don’t think either of you are going to last long this way. With deep breaths you try to control yourself a little, hands soothingly rubbing his sides.
His breathing slowly evens out, and you draw a hesitant circle with your hips. He groans, but doesn’t stop you. You don’t move much, just a gentle back and forth of your hips that is enough to make both of you moan loudly. He’s so hard — you can feel every inch of him inside of you — it’s too good.
You take his hands from your waist, interlacing your fingers. This you use to steady yourself, hands leaning on his as you slowly start to move more and more. The slide is smooth, the friction just right, and at the angle you have he brushes over the bundle of nerves inside of you every time you sink down.
There’s something intimate about this moment that makes your heart swell. The way you’re holding hands, how his eyes keep skimming your body only to settle back onto yours. His pupils are dilated, almost completely black as he holds your gaze. Every single time you bottom out he falters a little, lips parting with a gasp.
“More,” he groans, straining his neck.
Sliding your thighs close to his body, you lift yourself until only the tip of him is inside. Then, you slam down, ass smacking against his thighs as you do so. You repeat, picking up a slow, hard pace that has him groaning deeper and deeper.
There’s a change in him, the locking of his jaw, the way his tongue darts out to wet his lips. Jungkook’s brows furrow as he closes his eyes, grumbling something under his breath as you try your best to keep your rhythm despite the burning of your thighs. You’re growing tired even as your pleasure keeps building. You try to focus on him, the way he reacts to you, in order to stave off your own impending peak.
Jungkook lets go of one of your hands, gripping your ass firmly instead. He zones in on where he can see his dick disappearing between your folds, your thighs shaking from exertion. There’s an ease in pressure as he helps lift you — guiding you into a more smooth rhythm that has you almost collapsing forward. He knows the angles, knows where you like it best — more so than you do.
“Kook,” you whine.
“Can we switch?” he asks, voice deeper than before.
It’s not unusual for Jungkook to take a sudden change like this. To go from being absolutely wrecked underneath you, to fucking you hard in a few seconds. “You want to top?”
He gives you a firm look. It has you almost whimpering. “You feel so good bare like this,” he says. “I want to make you come.” His voice has morphed into a deep drawl, ruined from moaning and whining. You can feel the vibrations go straight to your core and when you clench you find yourself pathetically whimpering at the sensation.
You’re close, too close almost, and you know he must be too. The way he twitches inside of you is a tell-tale sign. There’s no way he couldn’t be, with how good it feels to have each other like this — intimate in the dirtiest way possible.
“Okay,” you breathe, taking your last bit of strength to slide off him slowly. Both of you hiss loudly when he slips out, cock slapping down onto his stomach. It’s wet, your juices having dripped all over him and your thighs.
Where you barely have any strength left, Jungkook helps you roll over and finally pull your shirt and bra off your body. You find yourself on your back, nestles comfortably against the pillows as he kisses you. That is what you missed, that little thing you needed to feel complete. His mouth, warm and familiar, kissing you deeply as one of his hands massages your thigh. A pathetic little sound comes out of your mouth as Jungkook reaches between you to grab himself and tease your folds with his tip. He keeps kissing you all the while he does so.
“Jungkook,” you moan, nails digging into his back and legs wrapping around his waist. “Just — yes.”
He slides home in one smooth trust, bottoming out and pausing with his hips pressed flush to yours. Your open-mouthed kiss has a soothing feeling that makes your mind swim easily. The way he feels inside of you, the slight stretch, it’s even better at this angle. That, combined with his tongue languidly gliding across yours — you’re seeing stars already. Little tingles dance over you skin.
“I love you,” Jungkook whispers against your mouth.
“I love you too.”
It’s as if he’s spurred on by the affection — suddenly moving with a new-found vigour. He goes steady, smooth and shallow. He makes absolutely sure to hit all the spots you need him to, circling his hips every time he bottom out. He doesn’t falter when you start clenching down on him not when his own moans start to pick up. Even when you whine his name he keeps on steadily. All he is focussed on right now is making the two of you come.
That delicious feeling pools in your stomach, climbing and climbing until it’s strung so tight you have to beg him for that little extra push. “Please, Jungkook.” You slip a hand between your bodies, fingers seeking out your clit.
“No,” he almost growls where his head is hidden in the crook of your neck.
Withdrawing your hand immediately, you close your eyes tightly. He feels amazing, rubbing against your walls. Jungkook laps up the side of your neck, licking and sucking at random intervals. One of his hands finds yours, fingers intertwining beside your head. Your heart fluttering easily at the gesture.
Like this, you feel more connected than you ever have. With his face buried in your shoulder, hips and chest sliding against yours as both of you moan in chorus.
There’s a heavy feeling in your chest, one that adds to the one inside your core as you run your fingers through his hair.
He leans up to look at you, eyes heavy-lidded with pleasure and lips red from kissing you. “I want you to come like this — fuck.” There it is, your own little crux. Like overstimulation for Jungkook, dirty talk is the one thing that will send you straight over the edge. “Want you to come from my cock only. Can you do that for me baby?”
You nod quickly, fingers brushing his cheek. “Kiss me.”
He does, lips moulding over yours as he increases his speed more and more. Your hand that isn’t intertwined with his, scratches down his back, coming to grab at his ass to spur him on. He presses his hips flush to yours, rolling motions making you feel his length entirely. How snug he is inside of you, the pressure of it — you can feel yourself tumbling towards your orgasm fast.
Jungkook keeps rutting into you, trying to hold himself back for you. You can feel it in the flex of his muscles, hear it in his strangled moans that are drowned out on your tongue. “Fuck, I’m so close,” he groans. “Come for me.” The consistent drag of his cock against your walls combined with those words falling so naturally from his lips are enough to send you over the edge.
You can’t even warn him on time. With a silent scream you fall apart around him, body shuddering as he presses his chest to yours. Jungkook holds you, grounds you, fucking you steadily through your orgasm.
The stars behind your eyes slowly disappear as Jungkook’s moans peak and he comes with a grunt inside your still twitching core. His hand tightens almost painfully around yours as he does so. You moan as soon as you feel him come — the sensation of him cum filling you up entirely new. It’s warm, and as he rides out his high you’re almost sent into overstimulation yourself.
He stops right as you whimper, still lodged deep inside of you — as is his cum. “Fuck.”
You let out a giddy sound, a wonderful feeling spreading through your body as you stroke his sweaty hair. Jungkook’s still half lying over you, legs tangled as he softens inside of you. “Baby,” you whisper, pressing your lips to the top of his head.
“Just a little longer,” he mumbles into your chest, mouth grazing your nipple. There’s no urgency, no purpose behind the gesture — Jungkook just gently kisses and sucks at your chest and neck as you both come down. It’s warm, snug, and you feel so full everywhere. Your fingers tremble, still holding his hand tightly over your other side.
He reaches his free hand down between your legs, spreading your sensitive folds where you’re still connected and sliding his fingers through the mess he finds there. There’s a gentle warning before he pulls out slowly. You hiss at the feeling — whimpering as soon as his cum starts to dribble out of you. Jungkook can’t stop looking at it, entranced by the sight of your pussy dripping with him.
“Fuck, this is so hot,” he mumbles, fingers sliding over your folds to collect the mess and gently press it back inside of you. “We should’ve done this sooner.” In between the look of pure captivation and lust, there’s a sense of fondness as Jungkook gently toys with the mess between your legs. You’re still sensitive, and he’s wary of it, only slightly pressing inside of you.
You let him, basking in the feeling of him enjoying you so much. There’s love in his movement, care in his touch that smears over your thighs. “Kookie,” you whisper, grazing between his shoulders.
He looks up at you, eyes slowly softening as you both withdraw the veils of pleasure. “You okay?”
“I am. I just want to go clean up. ’S that okay?” You caress his cheek, stroking the smooth curve of his cheekbone. As he leans in to kiss your palm you smile, knowing that this is where you want to be for the rest of your life — in Jungkook’s arms.
Slowly, he helps you up, body tired from the entire day. As much as you both loved this new feeling — Jungkook coming inside of you — he still helps you diligently rinse yourself in the shower. You’ll probably get used to it, especially if he’s going to run you a bath every time you have sex now.
You find yourself sitting between his legs, head resting against his shoulder as he rubs soothing circles on your stomach. It’s peaceful, no words need to be said but you speak them anyways — because you want to. “I love you so much.”
As if startled by your confession, he stops his motions, taking a few beats to answer you. “I love you to. But — and don’t get me wrong — why are you saying it like that?”
To your own surprise, your throat constricts as you sit in the tub with him. He was so attentive, making sure that all your needs are met before he even considered sitting down with you. You’re certain not a lot of guys would do the same — you are lucky with him. He is one of a kind and you wish you could hold on to him forever. “Nevermind,” you whisper, holding the tears that sting in the corners of your eyes. From this angle, you’re sure he can’t see.
His lips glide over your shoulder. “No, it’s okay, you can tell me.”
A deep breath reveals how unsteady you are, and Jungkook looks up in concern at the tremble. “I just love you — a lot, and I want us to last. I want to have you in my life for a very long time.” You speak so silently you fear he might not have heard. “I think you are the most beautiful, gentle, and fun person I have ever had the chance of being with and you know me so well. You’re always here to take care of me. I enjoyed myself so much today, I didn’t even think about anything bad the entire time we were out. And I don’t want to loose that happiness you give me — I don’t want to lose you.” You’re rambling and Jungkook’s awfully silent, lips and nose pressed into your shoulder as he listens to your words. “Can you just…stay with me?”
“Where else would I go?” he asks, wavering voice giving away his emotions.
You shrug. “I don’t know. Away?”
He shakes his head, kissing your cheek. “I’m not going anywhere babe, I promise.” Jungkook cradles you closer, folding you against him as you lean to press your forehead to his temple. He lets you, fingers slipping between yours where they are home like you are home with him.
You don’t cry despite the lump in your throat, because you feel too happy to cry — too safe. The feeling of loving him — being loved by him — it’s overwhelming you so suddenly. It’s settled deep in your chest and you find yourself craving him closer even like this. “Move in with me?”
“Okay,” he answers, so easily that you’re stunned.
“Are you serious?” You ask wide-eyed, twisting to look at him properly.
Jungkook nods with sparkling eyes. “Yeah, I’ll talk to my landlord when we get back. I’ve been meaning to ask but I wasn’t sure if you were…ready to take that step yet.”
You shake your head at him vigorously, almost slipping in the tub when you lean up to kiss him. “I can’t wait to wake up next to you every day,” you mumble against his mouth.
His lips stretch into a smile, even feeling it is more than enough to make your heart flutter. “Me too.”

I think I'm literally incapable of imagining how dull your mind is. people with children have every right to go out to eat, and travel on planes just like everybody else.
No one said anything about stopping them or suspending their rights in any way, only that noise is annoying (and especially painful to autistic people with sensory issues).
Now, they shouldn't be bringing their babies to movie theatres especially if that baby is too young to appreciate the movie and understand what's going on, I do agree with that. But when it comes to most other public places, I think you as the adult should just shut the fuck up and deal with it tbh.
As a childless person you have no idea what parents go through so maybe next time a baby annoys you you should just do the respectful thing and look the other way,
Um... what do you think I do? Activate Karen Mode and go bother the parents about it?
Nah, I just judge them silently. I am free to complain as much as I want on the internet though.
be grateful that the baby only annoyed you for a short time, and that you don't have to deal with a baby on an every day basis like the parents of that child do
I like how I don’t even have to argue in favor of being childfree because even people who love babies seem find them endlessly annoying and draining.
I know you can't put yourself in the shoes of babies, or parents, or anyone else because you have low empathy so that's literally what I'm saying. I can't make you understand or myself understand how terribly dull it must be inside your mind so there's no point to discussing this, you're just going to see things through your self-centered world view and never evolve from that. You may not want to
And yet from my own point of view it is the parents you’re defending who are being inconsiderate of others, especially people with sensory issues.
Like, your argument doesn’t even deny that they are making a selfish decision for their own pleasure at the cost of others, you only claim that they are entitled to do so.
You don’t call that self-centered?
I feel like you might be focusing too much on the presence or absence of empathy and neglecting considerations like “what effect will this action have on others?”
Also, for the record: It is more accurate to say that I have low affective empathy, but normal to high cognitive empathy.
I actually can put myself in the shoes of those parents, and my conclusion is that if I was in their situation I would probably just stay home? Being home suits me fine and I would rather not cause other people pain through noise.
Like, ok, lemme just put this in a way for you to understand: I am the owner of an adorable baby snake. I love him and I plan to take him out the the pet store at some point when he's comfortable enough to be handled and go out. Now, fear of snakes is one of the most common phobias there is. Many people are afraid of snakes and some even hate them, naturally they do look very strange and I can see why some would be uncomfortable with them. Should I then avoid having a snake or taking my snake outside in the world just because some people might be annoyed by it, or scared? Fuck no, if someone talks shit about my baby snake I have every right to tell them to go suck it.
I don’t know, when I see people fearmongering about snakes (and everything from Christianity to JK Rowling is very anti-snake) I don’t take it personally or “tell them to go suck it”. I may lack empathy but I do understand the fact that other people do not share my preferences.
If people have ophidiophobia I would actually recommend them not to look at my blog or anything, but I would not go around picking fights with them without a better reason, especially if they would rather leave me alone.
Just bc there's people out there who see babies as a nuisance and hate it when babies cry doesn't mean the parent is responsible for catering to those people. It's developmentally healthy for babies to be taken outside and shown the world!! It's good for their socialization and development!! Parents shouldn't be judged for being in public with their babies just bc their cry has the potential to annoy pussies like you
I don’t know, like I said I am very glad my development was generally more about learning a second language plus reading early by playing on the computer and less about publicly humiliating my parents at the movies. Wish there had been less abusers though.
When my parents did start dragging me out with them (mainly later in life) it was almost always for their own benefit rather than mine. I was open about my preference for staying inside.
I sincerely see no value in getting dragged around by parents. I never wanted it for myself to begin with.

Ooooh 30
30. What’s irritating you right now?
e v e r y t h i n g
jk. (or am I)
I’m actually genuinely not sure how to answer this question. Should I take it lightly? Go deep? Is it really irritation that I feel, or a deeper sense of frustration and disappointment? Am I overthinking?
I mean I’m definitely overthinking, that’s what I do, and it’s definitely one of those days, too, where I just go way too deeply into everything and my brain won’t shut up and in the end I get nothing actually done because I muck around too much.
I think for me, all things I’m surface-level irritated with are intangibly connected to much bigger, deeper issues, and I don’t know where to even begin. I’m irritated that none of my friends are texting me, and wondering if I’m being forgotten again - or worse, ignored again for doing something wrong without knowing what. I’m irritated at my mom for somehow always waking me up from naps, when she knows how much I struggle with really bad insomnia and how tired I always am. I’m irritated at myself for spending way too much time online and on this website in particular, when I have a whole list of other things I should be doing and want to do (including naps). Then again, I’m also irritated that that to-do list is really kind of arbitrary and unimportant and that my life is actually at a complete standstill and I keep being pushed by people to change it but I feel paralyzed and overwhelmed and too incompetent and incapable to do anything, at all, and I’m also supposed to fix that myself.
I’m irritated that we’re still in lockdown, and that the lockdown will probably be extended by several weeks, because people are stubborn assholes. And that just means more weeks of nothing to do, nowhere to go, more plans being pushed back to some future date.
Mostly, I’m not sure if I even know how to distinguish irritation from frustration, since for me they’re often either very similar or so intricately connected it doesn’t matter if there’s a difference.  (Can you tell I’m in group therapy and have also been spending all these gazillion lockdowns just overthinking everything?) On a very, very micro level, I’m irritated at one tab I have open in my browser for home studying that keeps changing to different text. Like I get, you hand out free tablets, you have courses and education, STOP. FLICKERING. ahem. anyway.

ok, so this might sound dumb, but it works for me when I'm trying to fall asleep but can't shut my mind off - try closing your eyes and counting backwards slowly from 100 down to 0 and like visualizing the numbers in your mind as you do it - for me concentrating on the image of the numbers stops my mind from thinking about 80 million other things and I always fall asleep before I hit 0
that doesn’t sound dumb at all! I will def try that tonight if I can’t get to sleep. thanks for the tip :)

I'm honestly kinda peeved I didn't get that book for A level because I would've loved to analyse it properly! I... honestly know nothing about Walker, but I totally get your reservations
it was amaaaaaazing. and for once analysing it made me appreciate it more in terms of symbolism and intent. there is a lot of great literature out there about the book and I remember reading a bunch of different articles that were really fascinating.
and tbh it’s a complex issue that I have a problem with her about (the practice of female genital cutting) and how her view on it was so clearly westernised and therefore skewed in a certain way.

You cannot recall a single word that has left Jeongguk’s lips in the past five minutes. You should be concentrating though — he’d been kind enough to explain thermodynamics to you. Somehow, despite your widely different majors, you’d both been thrown into the hell that was Professor Kim’s chemistry class. The only difference between the two of you right now was that Jeongguk understood what Gibson's Free Energy meant while you, unfortunately, did not.
“See,” he says, honey gaze locking on you. “It’s not that difficult.”
The huff you release is laced with fury. “Easy for you to say. You understand his horrendous teaching method.”
“Kim isn’t that horrible of a teacher,” Jeongguk returns. You don’t blink as he runs a stray hand through his chestnut curls. He’s overdue for a cut but after your persistent badgering, he’d agreed to grow it out again. The problem was that he looked good with his hair tumbling into his face. He always looked good, to be frank, but the consistent sweeping of his hair back was doing something funny to your stomach. Not that you were willing to acknowledge that.
There’s a fast and dangerous swoop in your gut the second Jeongguk leans into your space, crowding over your huddled figure. “Look,” he says, deft tongue swiping over his petal lips. His finger traces an equation from your textbook but you’re not looking at that. You really couldn’t give a shit about chemistry right now. All because Jeongguk’s chain is dangling before your eyes. It’s a pretty silver pendant, glinting in the harsh fluorescents hanging above, and engraved with something you can’t decipher as it gently sways before your vision. His cologne hits a second later, swathing around you like a warm lazy hug. You nearly give in, eyes fluttering shut as your thighs squeeze together beneath the library table. He’s so close, just one inch forward and your face would be buried in the hollow of his neck. A neck bulked up by years of consistent gym routines and playing match after match of lacrosse. You can’t help the wandering gaze. Even underneath the billowy material of his sweatshirt, you can see how broad he is, wide shoulders and thick biceps encroaching into your space.
It happens too fast for you to muffle the fantasy out. How nice he would feel on top of you, his chain cold against your warm skin as your bodies met, delicate metal swaying gently to the sound of him inside of you, his wide palms pinning you down tight until you felt the phantom of them there tomorrow, the —
“Hello? Y/N? Did you get it?” Jeongguk’s voice is alien, slicing through the core of your longing unforgivingly.
“What?” And just like that it’s gone, evaporated into nothing as your vision clears, Jeongguk staring at you expectedly as the faint ticking of the library clock reaches your ears. “Huh? Wait — yes I got it. Um, yeah it makes sense now.”
There’s a pause as he stares at you, brown eyes brimming with that tender doe-eyed gaze of his. The one that has seen through every charade you’ve ever attempted to trick him with. He must know.
“You sure?” He says as he cocks his head. Something violently blooms and dies inside of you simultaneously. He knows. He knows and you don’t know how that makes you feel. He must have seen the distance in your eyes, saw how you looked at him. You’d never been good at hiding things, especially from Jeongguk. But your tongue is stuck to the roof of your mouth, brain incapable of forming a believable lie. What could you say to your best friend when you’d been fantasising about him right in front of him? What is there to say? Sorry for thinking you’re really hot? Sorry for wanting you as more than a friend?
It’s stupid and you know it yet your mouth is falling open involuntarily. But he catches you, his words blocking yours diverting the path of your relationship from a dangerous ending.
“I know you’re used to teaching me stuff,” he softly starts, tone cautious. “I get that. But it’s okay not to understand things, Y/N. You don’t have to know everything. I can help you out whenever you don’t, you know that right?”
If you could scream in the middle of a library you would. But that would get you kicked out and honestly, you need to study. But here he was, thinking your hesitation and lack of focus was from embarrassment. If anyone had a golden soul it was him. And that’s what makes it a million times worse. Because Jeongguk was everything you could never be. Everything and more.
You bite your tongue, head bowed in a shame that he misreads.
“Y/N?”
It takes a minute for the thought to form, a lapse of time in which you think your heart shatters a little bit. “Jeongguk,” you murmur, eyes rising to meet his. “I’d never doubt that you wouldn’t be there to help me. We’ve been friends for too long for me to ever think that. I’m just really frustrated with myself. But I’ve got the concept now. Thank you for explaining it. I appreciate this.”
The smile he gives you could make a cloudy sky clear. “You really sure? I know it’s rushed but I gotta head to a society meeting in, like, ten minutes.”
You nod, clicking your pen because for some reason this hurts. “Yeah, yeah I got it. You should go. Thanks, Gukkie.”
He shrugs, plucking his backpack off the table. Another sweep of his fingers through his hair, a bright smile still gracing his perfect lips. There’s the hint of his dimples peeking through his cheeks. You wish he didn’t look like that.
“Anytime, bunny. You know I got you.”
And then he’s off, waving you farewell as he weaves through the shelves and out the library doors. You don’t miss the murmurs that follow, the silent whispers of his name. Jeon Jeongguk. The university's star lacrosse player. The president of the Student Sports Committee. The hottest guy on campus. And somehow, the best-friend you might have a crush on.
It’s with a heavy sigh that you return to your assignment, the grip on your pen taunt. Maybe you should look into ordering that vibrator Sieun talked about earlier today. Maybe.
