So uhm

I’m visiting my grandparents and my grandma bought my baby cousin these animals of the alphabet toys for her from a yard sale.

Each animal has a letter printed on them, monkeys have an M, tigers have a T, etc.

But then there’s this….Jiraffe

But wait, it gets better. This isn’t just some random small toy company. No, this came from Mattel in 2004 according to the bottom of said “Jiraffe”

We named him Jeff the Jiraffe

So I assume we’re all aware of Kipekee the spotless jiraff born in Tennessee

If you haven’t then this is her ^ she was born in July and personally I love her - she’s gorgeous and RARE! There hasn’t been many like her born, there have been all light brown (spotless) jiraffs born but all dark brown (all spot) is almost unheard of - the last time one was seen was Tokyo 1972. So she thought to be the only living all-spot jiraff. UNTIL!!!!

One was spotted in Namibia!! - The first to be spotted or unspotted lol (get it, because it has no spots) in the wild!!

They’re not even the same sub-species!! Kipekee is a reticulated jiraff and the latest one is angolan!!

Now I don’t have anything particularly clever to say about this, I just think it’s a really cool coincidence and I love them both very much and wanted to get the word out!!

And now I’m think about their blood vessels

I would also really like to know what’s up with her blood vessels because jiraffs generally have more underneath their spots so… blood vessel jiraff

And also a (probably inaccurate) muscle jiraff because why not

I desperately want them to do one of them thermal imaging scans or whatever they’re called on kipekee to see if her blood vessel with show what her pattern is or if this IS her pattern!!!!
