aizawa, fatgum, twice, mirio, kirishima, and shinsou x reader who dyes their hair
another request from the bestie!! this one was for aizawa, fatgum, twice, mirio, kirishima, and shinsou x reader who dyes their hair a lot, like every month kinda stuff!! hope u like it!! this is my first time writing for a few of them so i hope it's okay!
shouta aizawa:
•literally doesn't care. might actually deadass not notice you dyed it again. he seems like the type to always look his s/o in the eye/face, you might have to point out things like your hair and clothes to get him to pay attention to them, but he always compliments your makeup if you wear any (bc that's where he's staring) so he makes up for it <3
•don't ask him to help you pick a color ever. it will not end the way you want it to he will literally just pick at random, you're better off asking someone else or picking yourself
•not so secretly skilled with doing hair, he's besties with nemuri and i'm so sure he's had to help out kiri w dying his hair too!! so aizawa is the person to go to if you need help with it!! will only grumble a little but that's normal
•will covertly bitch about protecting your hair. sees you with another box of bleach too soon and just. grabs it from you. doesn't say shit. takes it and goes. gives it back to you in like a month?
•might actually knock you out if you try to buy another after he took one from you
taishiro toyomitsu:
•notices immediately and compliments the color(s) on you!!! calls you a different pet name with each color too, like pink would be sweetie, blue would be darling, smth like that, he just likes giving you new ones.
•amazing decision maker. for everyone out there who struggles to make basics choices? this is ur man. will help you pick a color and will argue his point when ur still indecisive. king.
•don't ask him to help you dye it tho. i'm sorry he just seems. i don't want to be mean to him but i think if he tried to help you dye your hair it'd be all over the both of you. more on you two than your hair. sorry tai </3
•WILL let you dye his hair to match yours!!! he wears a hoodie during work anyway so it wouldn't mess with anything!! he actually loves the matching too
•helps you take care of it, looks up tips on his phone to show you later, recommends products for you to use (also buys all the shit for u thank god)
jin bubaigawara:
•stumbles trips over the air cries screams throws up every time you dye your hair. he is so ridiculous in his enthusiasm. every time you dye it it's like he's never seen anyone with brightly colored hair before even tho he lives with spinner
•probably also a pretty good person to go to when you can't decide on a color, he's had to wise up on what goes with what since becoming a big brother to toga who WILL stab him if he chooses wrong. so he might be able to give good advice
•i also don't think he should be allowed anywhere near your head. like think 10x as messy as with taishiro because jin is also super clumsy and will get it everywhere. on you two on the floor on the sink on the bathtubs somehow? on the ceiling? idk how he did it
•probably would also let you dye his hair to match yours since he does wear his mask. i think during the meta liberation army arc when he starts doubling himself again, him having his hair dyed and his clones having blonde hair would really help him with the trauma as well
•doesn't give you tips, doesn't help you, takes care of your hair For you. he can't dye hair but he can moisturize and comb it out for you 🥺 maybe even braid it if you want
togata mirio
•he doesn't notice when you do your hair, no. he was watching you with his face on the wall out of your line of sight watching you do it. (i think he's kinda just Always Watching, not in a creepy way but like he'll pop up to watch you do your makeup/your hair, pops up to walk you to and from places when he can, etc.)
•gives you tons and tons of compliments whenever you dye it a different color. he's probably mid at picking between colors tho, idk if i trust his style sometimes..
•could Probably be trusted to dye your hair, he would be REALLY focused on making sure it's perfect and that he doesn't fuck it up, watched TONS of videos beforehand
•he doesn't have a hood or mask but would still be willing to let you dye his hair to match, it's honestly really his style
•probably likes to leave hair products around for you. idk how he does it considering he can't go through things with items but whatever
eijirou kirishima
•would absolutely LOVE being w someone who also dyes their hair!! it's probably how y'all bonded in the first place!
•very good at choosing between colors. even super similar colors. he's Very particular about the shade of his hair so he knows what's up!!
•will absolutely want to do each other's hair together!! you dye his hair and he dyes yours !! very fun to do but you guys also get pretty messy. worth it tho
•he would be super super excited if you also want to dye your hair red, Might dye his hair a different color for a month or so if you have a specific signature color as well but that's as good as you're gonna get.
•you guys both totally share hair care tips together like true relationship goals
hitoshi shinsou
•waits in anticipation for whatever color you're doing next. literally no matter what color you dyed your hair, no matter how patchy or uneven it is, he will compliment it
•don't ask him to help pick between colors. he will say yes to every color and when you go "that's not how it works" he's just like "okay but they all look good on you i can't decide" WHICH IS THE ISSUE IN THE FIRST OLACE BECAUSE YOU ALSO CANT PICK THATS WHY YOU CAME TO HIM!!!! grr
•oh my god he's been watching youtube tutorials on dying hair since he found out you dye yours, he's SO ready to dye your hair when you finally ask him. does an amazing job chefs kiss
•will bite you if you try to over bleach your hair, i'm so serious. he's like nooooo idc how excited u are for a new color no more bleach 👿
•another one who personally wants to apply products to your hair and knows so many hairstyles u can't convince me otherwise. he learned more so he can play in ur hair <3

↱ an unexpected addition ↰
➘ summary : a new member decides to join the league of villains but she doesn’t look villain material, twice on the other hand says otherwise
➘ twice x reader, jin bubaigawara x reader
➘ a/n : are you guys enjoying this new design take I’m doing?
The League of Villains' hideout was shrouded in darkness, a stark contrast to the bright and bustling world outside. The group of misfits gathered around a table, each member immersed in their own thoughts and plans for chaos. But today, something unusual was about to disrupt their routine.
A knock echoed through the hideout, causing the villains to exchange glances. Toga was the first to approach the door, a sinister grin on her face. "Who could it be at this hour?"
The door creaked open, revealing a figure standing in the doorway—a young woman with vibrant (h/c) hair and an infectious smile. She seemed out of place amidst the gloom, radiating an inexplicable joy that was almost jarring in this setting.
"Hey there! Sorry for dropping by unannounced," the girl greeted cheerily, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
Shigaraki raised an eyebrow, his hand hovering over his face as he regarded the newcomer with suspicion. "And who the hell are you?"
"(Y/N)," she introduced herself with a laugh, as if her very presence was a burst of sunlight in the dim room. "I heard you guys are making a name for yourselves, so I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about."
Toga's eyes gleamed with interest as she circled around (Y/N), her curiosity piqued by the girl's audacity. "Well, well, aren't you a little ball of energy?"
Before anyone else could react, Twice stepped forward, his face split into a wide grin that mirrored (Y/N)'s own expression. "Hey, hey, I vouch for her! She's got the right vibe, you know? The League could use some fresh air."
“Fuck off!”
Shigaraki crossed his arms, regarding the scene with a mixture of amusement and skepticism. "Twice, you're vouching for her just based on vibes?"
Twice nodded eagerly, his eyes bright. "Yeah, yeah! Trust me, Boss, she's got potential. We could use some positivity around here."
“No! Kick her lame ass out.”
(Y/N) chuckled, undeterred by the skeptical gazes around her. "Life's too short to be serious all the time, right?"
The League's members exchanged glances, caught between intrigue and uncertainty. It was true that their group had always leaned towards the darker side of life, but (Y/N)'s unwavering cheeriness was like a splash of paint on a blank canvas.
Shigaraki finally sighed, his fingers tapping impatiently against his arm. "Fine. Twice, if you believe in her, we'll give her a chance. But she's got to prove herself. This isn't a tea party."
Twice grinned even wider, his excitement palpable. "You won't regret it, Boss!"
“I’m already regretting agreeing.”
As the League of Villains welcomed (Y/N) into their ranks, the dynamics of the group shifted. Her presence, like a burst of color, had the potential to change the way they saw their mission. Whether she could truly find her place in this world of darkness remained to be seen, but one thing was certain—the League of Villains was in for a unique and unexpected journey with their newest, and perhaps most unconventional, member.
(Y/N)'s entry into the League of Villains marked a new chapter for the group. Her bright personality was like a constant source of energy, injecting an unusual spark into their sinister pursuits. As days turned into weeks, the members began to adjust to her presence, some more begrudgingly than others.
Toga found herself oddly drawn to (Y/N)'s infectious laughter and carefree nature. She observed her new companion's interactions with a mix of fascination and curiosity. "(Y/N), you're really something else," Toga mused one day, twirling a knife between her fingers.
(Y/N) flashed a grin in response, seemingly unfazed by the dangerous instrument Toga was wielding. "Well, life's too short to be boring, right?"
Meanwhile, Twice found himself spending more time with (Y/N), the two forming an unexpected camaraderie. He appreciated the break from the constant tension within the group. "(Y/N), you're like a breath of fresh air," he admitted, a genuine smile on his face.
“I wish you would just die!”
"I try my best," she replied, her eyes glinting mischievously. "Who knew villains could use a little sunshine?"
Even Shigaraki, who was known for his stern demeanor, couldn't help but be intrigued by (Y/N)'s unique approach to villainy. He watched her from the shadows, observing her interactions and contemplating the potential benefits and risks of her presence.
One evening, as the group gathered to discuss their next move, (Y/N) piped up with an idea that caught everyone off guard. "Why don't we organize a charity event? You know, something that shows we're not all bad."
The room fell silent, each member processing (Y/N)'s suggestion. It was a far cry from their usual activities, but there was something strangely appealing about the idea of presenting a different side of themselves.
Shigaraki leaned back in his chair, his fingers steepled as he regarded (Y/N). "Explain."
(Y/N) leaned forward, her eyes shining with enthusiasm. "Think about it. We could use the event as a cover for something bigger. People would never suspect us, and we'd be able to gather information, or even set a trap for our enemies."
The room buzzed with a mix of curiosity and interest. The proposition was audacious, a gamble that had the potential to either backfire spectacularly or yield unexpected rewards.
Toga was the first to voice her approval, her grin bordering on maniacal. "I like the way you think!"
Twice nodded in agreement, his eyes wide with excitement. "It's like turning the tables on everyone, but with style!"
“This is a dumb idea!”
Shigaraki mulled over the idea for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then, he finally cracked a small smile, a rarity for him. "Fine. We'll give it a shot. But make no mistake, (Y/N), if this goes south, you're taking full responsibility."
(Y/N) beamed, her energy practically bouncing off the walls. "Deal!"
As preparations for the charity event began, the League of Villains found themselves venturing into uncharted territory. With (Y/N)'s unconventional ideas at the helm, they were about to show the world a side they never thought they'd see. Whether their plan would succeed or crumble under the weight of their own audacity remained to be seen, but one thing was certain—the League was in for a ride they would never forget, all thanks to the girl who had brought a touch of brightness to their shadows.
The League of Villains threw themselves into planning the charity event with a newfound fervor. Their hideout, once a hub of darkness, transformed into a makeshift event planning headquarters. (Y/N)'s energy was infectious, as she rallied the members with her innovative ideas and boundless enthusiasm.
Kurogiri, the somber portal-manipulating member of the League, observed the proceedings with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. "(Y/N), are you sure about this? It seems quite... unconventional."
(Y/N) flashed a reassuring smile at Kurogiri. "Trust me, Kurogiri. Unconventional is exactly what we need. We'll catch everyone off guard and achieve our objectives without them even realizing it."
As the event drew near, (Y/N) worked tirelessly, ensuring every detail was in place. The League's hideout was adorned with banners, tables, and decorations, creating an atmosphere that was eerily inviting. The other members contributed in their own ways, albeit reluctantly at times, as they prepared for roles that felt oddly unfamiliar.
On the day of the event, the hideout's transformation was complete. The villains, dressed in costumes that attempted to mimic a sense of normalcy, mingled with the attendees, many of whom were unaware of the true nature of their hosts. (Y/N) flitted about, a master of ceremonies with an infectious smile that betrayed none of the darkness lurking beneath.
Toga, her usual thirst for blood disguised by a façade of normalcy, entertained guests with her unsettling charm. Twice, donning a tuxedo, created duplicates of himself to help serve refreshments, adding a quirky touch to the proceedings.
Shigaraki, his fingers still gloved, mingled with the crowd, his cold demeanor in stark contrast to the festive ambiance. Yet, even he couldn't deny the strange allure of (Y/N)'s plan.
As the evening progressed, (Y/N) sensed an air of tension mixed with curiosity among the attendees. They were drawn to the event, even if they didn't fully understand why. The League's usual chaos was temporarily subdued, replaced by a deceptive sense of unity that (Y/N) had managed to conjure.
But amidst the laughter and music, a more sinister undercurrent simmered beneath the surface. (Y/N)'s watchful eyes were attuned to the subtle shifts in the room, the hints of conversations that hinted at something more sinister.
As the night continued, (Y/N) seized an opportunity to gather valuable information from unsuspecting guests. Her casual conversations led to secrets revealed, alliances exposed, and rivalries unveiled.
When the event came to a close, the League of Villains retreated to their hideout, exhausted but exhilarated. (Y/N)'s plan had worked, and they had achieved their objectives without raising suspicion. It was a success that had left the members, even the skeptical ones, with a sense of accomplishment.
"(Y/N), I've got to hand it to you. That was a crazy idea, but it worked," Toga said, a satisfied grin on her face.
Twice nodded enthusiastically. "You brought some much-needed chaos in the most unexpected way!"
“I hated it!”
Shigaraki leaned against a wall, a rare smile tugging at his lips. "(Y/N), I must admit, you've got a knack for this."
(Y/N) beamed, her heart swelling with a mixture of pride and relief. "Well, villains can have a little fun too, right?"
The League of Villains had experienced a night unlike any other, and it was all thanks to (Y/N)'s unorthodox approach. As they settled in, their laughter and camaraderie resonated through the hideout, an echo of the unlikely success that had unfolded under the guise of a charity event.

Synopsis: Dabi returns to the League of Villains' hideout only to discover that the affectionate cat snuggling with him is far more than it appears

MY HERO ACADEMIA MASTERLIST - PART II MY HERO ACADEMIA MASTERLIST KO-FI COMMISSIONS
A crackling fire was the only source of light in the dimly lit hideout. The hideout was unusually quiet, with a faint hum of electricity the only sound to break the silence. The scent of smoke and old wood permeated the air, mixing with the faint aroma of cheap instant noodles that Spinner had managed to scrounge up.
Dabi dragged his feet across the floor upon entering the hideout, his head aching with a dull throb. Today had been exhausting, not because of the physical demands, but the constant tug of thoughts that he tried, and failed, to ignore. There was always something gnawing at the back of his mind, a persistent itch that no amount of fire could burn away. He lit a cigarette with a tiny tongue of fire he ignited on the pad of his index finger, hoping the nicotine would help numb it, just for a little while.
Another mission, another mess.
Dabi could already feel the fatigue setting in, the weight of the day's events pressing down on his shoulders like a heavy cloak. A shower and a nap were all he wanted. Maybe something to eat if he could muster the energy. But those plans screeched to a halt the moment he noticed something small and unexpected trotting around the hideout.
As he approached the common room, the sound of muffled laughter caught his attention. It was unusual to hear anyone in the League actually enjoying themselves; their lives weren't exactly conducive to lighthearted moments.
Intrigued, Dabi followed the sound, rounding the corner to see Toga giggling uncontrollably while Twice tried to stifle his own chuckles.
In the center of the room, there was a small, sleek black cat. It padded around with an air of confidence, its eyes glimmering in the firelight, tail flicking with curiosity.
The sight of a cat in the hideout was so out of place that it made Dabi pause. His brows furrowed in confusion, the cigarette hanging loosely between his lips. "What the fuck is that?" Dabi asked, his voice rough with irritation and a hint of disbelief. His eyes narrowed as he observed the feline, which had now focused its attention on him. Had Shigaraki finally lost it and decided they needed a comfort animal? The thought of the boss being comforted by anything living was laughable at best.
Toga looked up, her grin widening. "Oh, this? Isn't it adorable? Tomura-kun must've brought it in! Look how cute the kitty is!"
Shigaraki, who was sitting in the corner, didn't even bother to lift his head from the handheld PSP he was engrossed in. "Not mine," he uttered, his tone indifferent, which only made Toga giggle more.
Dabi felt a strange mix of irritation and confusion. This was the last place anyone would expect to find a pet, especially one as seemingly delicate as a cat. He turned his gaze back to the creature.
The cat didn’t seem fazed by his presence. In fact, it was the opposite. The small creature padded over to him with a grace that almost seemed too elegant for a stray. Its fur was sleek, a glossy black that seemed to drink in the light, and its eyes gleamed with intelligence as it approached. The cat circled his feet, its soft fur brushing against his legs as it purred loudly. The vibration of the purring resonated through Dabi's boots, and he felt a warmth spread from the cat’s body into his own, a heat that wasn’t just physical.
"Don't tell me you got yourself a comfort pet, boss," Dabi scoffed, trying to mask his discomfort with sarcasm. "Didn't know you were getting soft."
Shigaraki finally looked up, his gaze dull as he shrugged. "Why would I need a cat when I have people to annoy me, especially you, Dabi?"
Twice snickered behind his mask, and Dabi shot him a glare. The others seemed to be finding this entire situation far too amusing, which only deepened his suspicion. There was something off about this cat, something that didn't sit right with him.
“Seriously, whose idea was this?” Dabi asked aloud, not expecting an answer, though he glanced around the room as if someone might pop out to claim responsibility for the cat’s presence. No one did. The rest of the League was either out or keeping to themselves, it seemed. Dabi let out a heavy sigh. He scowled and crouched down, looking the cat square in the eye. “Alright, what’s your deal?” he asked, trying to sound stern, but the cat merely blinked lazily at him before nuzzling against his hand. The touch was warm, almost comfortingly so, and Dabi could feel a rumbling purr vibrating through the small body. The tension in his shoulders began to ease, despite himself. There was something oddly soothing about the little creature. As the feline continued to nuzzle against his legs, Dabi tried to shake it off, but the creature was persistent.
Finally, the cat seemingly got bored and leaped onto the couch nearby, making itself comfortable as it curled into a tight ball.
The feeling that something wasn’t quite right lingered within the fire wielder, even as he let himself sink into the worn couch beside the cat.
It responded immediately, uncurling and pressing itself against his side, seeking the heat that his quirk naturally produced.
The cat, for its part, remained glued to his side, occasionally shifting to find the warmest spot on his lap. Dabi could feel the way it leaned into his touch, purring louder. “Clingy little thing, ain’t ya?” Dabi commented, though he didn’t pull away. "So what's the deal?" the black haired man muttered, more to himself than to anyone else. "Where'd this thing come from?"
Toga knelt next to the couch he sat at, leaning in closer, her eyes sparkling as she started petting the cat splayed on his lap. "Oh, it's just a stray, I guess. Thought it might like the warmth here. Maybe it likes you because you're all fiery."
Her words were laced with a teasing edge, but Dabi couldn't deny that there was some truth to it. The cat’s persistence in snuggling up to him wasn’t strange, considering that animals usually stuck with him, not caring about the danger he carried within. But this one — this little black ball of fur — seemed drawn to him even more, almost as if it craved the very heat of his flames.
Twice chimed in, his voice a mixture of his split personalities. "Or maybe it's because you're just as much a stray as it is! Hah! But seriously, it probably just likes the warmth, man."
Dabi rolled his eyes. Twice’s comment was not only unnecessary but also rude.
The cat had now claimed his lap fully, kneading at his thigh with its tiny paws. The sensation was oddly pleasant.
It wasn’t long before he started to grow suspicious again. The way the others were watching him, with barely concealed grins and knowing glances, set off alarm bells in his head. There was something more to this cat, something they weren’t telling him. "You guys are terrible at keeping secrets," Dabi voiced flatly, his eyes narrowing as he looked at Toga and Twice. "Spit it out. What’s going on with this cat?"
Toga’s laughter burst out before she could stop it, and she leaned back, clutching her sides. "Oh, Dabi-kun! You're so clueless! It's too amusing, hihihi!"
Twice nodded, equally amused. "You’re gonna love this, but also maybe hate it? Probably both."
Before Dabi could demand a proper explanation, the cat in his lap stretched luxuriously, its body elongating in a way that seemed almost unnatural. There was a brief moment where its form seemed to shimmer, the fur receding, and the next thing he knew, a girl was sitting there, perched on his lap as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Shock registered first. Then, a flood of realization.
His eyes widened, and he froze, his usual calm demeanor cracking as he tried to process what had just happened. "What the actual —" Dabi started, his voice trailing off as he stared at you, his brain trying to catch up.
A soft smile curled your lips, eyes gleaming as you looked right into his turquoise eyes. “Surprise, I guess?” You offered, tilting your head slightly, stretching yourself. “Name’s Y/N, and I’m a new member.”
The room erupted in laughter, but Dabi remained silent, his eyes locked onto you as the realization sank in. The unscarred parts of his cheeks flushed, a rare sight for someone as composed as him, and a mixture of embarrassment and frustration boiled within. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” the man snarled. "Should've known something was up when you wouldn't stop snuggling. Now, get the fuck off my lap, and better don’t ya test my patience, woman.”
You giggled, a soft, melodic sound. “Couldn’t help it. You’re really warm, you know? My instincts kinda took over.”
Toga wiped a tear from her eye, still laughing. “It was too funny to watch you trying to figure it out! You should’ve seen your face! And Y/N is such a sweet kitten!”
Shigaraki, still absorbed in his game, didn’t bother to look up as he added, “It was the only entertainment we’ve had all day.”
Sliding off Dabi's lap with an easy, fluid movement, the action was followed by a casual smoothing of your clothes as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened. That same soft smile lingered on your lips, eyes still sparkling with a mischievous glint.
Dabi leaned back on the couch, running a hand over his face in exasperation as he tried to shake off the lingering warmth from where you had been sitting. “New recruit, huh?” he sputtered, his voice laced with a wry tone. “I don’t know what the hell we need a kitten-girl for, but I guess that’s none of my business.”
You just shrugged, still smiling, clearly not bothered by his skepticism. “Guess you’ll find out soon enough. Plus,” you added, a mischievous glint returning to your eyes, “I’m pretty good at getting into places I’m not supposed to. Comes in handy. I’m useful.”
“Useful,” Dabi echoed, his tone dripping with sarcasm. “Right. Guess we’ll see about that.” He couldn’t quite figure you out yet, and that bothered him more than he wanted to admit. But if Shigaraki thought you were worth bringing in, there had to be something more to you.
Toga bounced over to your side, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. “Oh, she’s useful, alright! You should see how sneaky she can be! Plus, she’s just adorable!” The teenager giggled again, clearly enjoying the entire situation far too much.
“Adorable isn’t exactly what we’re aiming for here,” Dabi replied dryly.
"Don’t worry, Dabi-sama," you chanted, your voice light and teasing, "I’ll keep my distance if it makes you uncomfortable. But I might still curl up next to you every now and then if it gets too cold. Can’t fight the instinct, you know?"
Dabi narrowed his eyes, still processing the whirlwind of the past few minutes. It wasn’t like him to get caught off guard, especially by something so simple as a quirk transformation. He prided himself on keeping his cool, on being the one who stayed in control, but here you were, blowing right past his defenses with a smile and a playful tone. “Yeah, well, do that, and don’t expect me to be so generous next time,” he muttered, trying to regain some semblance of authority.
Dabi wasn’t really mad — more irritated that he’d been the butt of the joke. Still, there was something about your easy-going nature that made it hard to stay irritated for too long.
“Aw, come on, Dabi! Don’t be such a grump!” Toga huffed, curling her lips in an offended grimace.
“Shut it, Toga, or you’re next,” Dabi shot her a glare.
After some time, he pushed himself up from the couch, giving you a last look that was somewhere between exasperation and grudging respect. “Just don’t make a habit of pulling stunts like that, got it?”
You gave a small salute, your grin widening. “Got it, Dabi-sama.”
Dabi headed to his room in the back of the hideout.
The small space was cluttered, a mess of discarded clothing, half-burnt papers and magazine clippings with Endeavor’s face covering most of them, and an ashtray that had long since overflowed. It wasn’t much, but it was his, and after the day’s events, it was the only place he wanted to be.
He let out a sigh as he collapsed onto the bed, the springs creaking under his weight. The worn mattress did little to offer comfort, but he was too tired to care. With the lights off, the only source of illumination came from the faint glow of the streetlamp outside, filtering through the cracked blinds.
Just as he was starting to drift off to sleep, a soft scratching sound at the door pulled him back to reality. At first, he ignored it, figuring it was just the wind or something brushing up against the door. But then it came again — persistent.
Dabi groaned, rolling over in bed and pulling the blanket over his head. “Just my luck,” he muttered, though he couldn’t quite shake the nagging feeling that he knew exactly what was causing the noise.
When the scratching didn’t stop, he finally gave in, tossing the blanket aside and dragging himself out of bed.
He shuffled to the door, irritation bubbling up as he yanked it open, ready to give whoever — or whatever — a piece of his mind. But the words died in his throat when he saw you sitting there in your cat form, looking up at him with those familiar green eyes.
“What the hell are you doing?” he grumbled, running a hand through his messy hair.
You tilted your head slightly, a soft meow escaping your muzzle as you patiently waited for him to let you in. The look you gave him was so imploring, so earnest, that despite everything, he felt his resolve crumbling.
“Dammit,” Dabi muttered under his breath, stepping aside to let you in. “I’m not running a damn shelter, Y/N.”
You trotted inside, tail flicking happily as you surveyed the cluttered room. Without waiting for an invitation, you leaped onto the bed, circling a spot before settling down right in the middle of it.
“Fucking unbelievable,” he muttered to himself, shaking his head as he shut the door behind him. He considered shooing you off the bed, but the sight of you curled up in a small ball, looking so content, made him think twice. It wasn’t like he had much energy left to argue, anyway. He climbed in beside you, making a show of rolling his eyes. “You better not make a habit of this,” he warned, though the way he pulled the blanket over both of you betrayed his true feelings.
You responded by snuggling closer, purring softly as you curled up against his chest, soaking in the warmth he naturally emitted.
His arm draped over you almost instinctively, his fingers brushing against your fur.
The purring grew louder, and he could feel the steady rhythm of your tiny heartbeat against him.
Dabi lay there, staring up at the ceiling, his mind still whirring even as his body began to relax. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d had someone — or something — so close, and it was oddly comforting, even if he would never admit it out loud. With a resigned huff, he wrapped an arm around you, the heat of his skin enveloping your small form. The gentle rise and fall of your breathing, coupled with the soft purring, slowly lulled him into a state of calm he hadn’t felt in a long, long time.

You thought your terrible day couldn't get any worse, but then you come home and accidentally interrupt a burglary in progress.
What follows is a series of questionable decisions you probably should have thought Twice about.
---
"Uh- hello!" The man greeted with a nervous laugh, tugging the mask that was scrunched up on the top half of his face a little further down his nose, fumbling the corner of the TV slightly as he did so. "Don't freak out. I can explain."
"Yeah?" You murmured distantly, thoughts frantically racing as you tried to process the entire scene playing out before you.
Something in the man seemed to suddenly shift; his jaw clenching tightly and his shoulders pulling taut in a way that made your focus instantly sharpen- the same way all the animals in nature documentaries did when they finally realized a predator was in their midst.
"I'm stealing your TV."

Today has been an awful day.
Not because any single, overwhelmingly bad thing had happened; you had just been worn down by a never ending gauntlet of unfortunate events.
Sometime during the night your phone cord had come unplugged and fully drained your phone battery, which meant that you woke up long after you had set your original and backup alarms to sound. As a result, you didn't have time for breakfast and ended up just using mouthwash instead of stopping to fully brush your teeth, but even that time save wasn't enough to keep you from missing your usual train.
You'd tripped on an uneven patch of sidewalk heading out to lunch and irreparably scuffed up the toes of your favorite dress shoes, and the presentation you had been working for the past two weeks to put together was somehow missing the last; and most integral, set of slides.
The subsequent verbal lashing that your boss and, more embarrassingly, your boss's boss, had given you lasted so long you'd ended up missing the train.
Again.
And as you sought to pass the time waiting for the next train to arrive by messing around on your phone, you discovered that the person you'd been seriously flirting with on the online dating site had suddenly blocked you without notice.
So when the skies opened up on your walk home, pouring down buckets of rain with such force that your skin stung from the impact, you comforted yourself with the knowledge that you could spend the rest of the day holed up in your apartment. You'd slip into some pajamas, snuggle up on the couch with your favorite blanket, and veg out in front of the TV you had scrimped and saved to buy; doing your best to forget that today even happened while you yelled at quiz show contestants for chiming in with incorrect answers. Perhaps you'd even go a step further and spend the commercial breaks on your phone, making wish lists full of products you'd never actually buy- letting yourself indulge in the fantasy of filling your overpriced and miniscule apartment with whatever gadgets and bits of decor that caught your interest.
It wouldn't completely erase your misery, but it was the best you could do on a limited budget and exactly enough energy to shuffle from your bedroom to the living room after you peeled off your drenched work clothes.
But your plans of relaxation were immediately foiled when you opened the door of your first floor apartment and were greeted by the sight of a man in a skintight black and white body suit trying to shove your brand new TV through your living room window; the bottom pane filled with with a spider web of cracks that spread even further with every heaving attempt to shove the flat-screen through the too small opening. He froze when he noticed you, a cigarette dangling from his bottom lip as his scruffy jaw dropped open in surprise from your sudden appearance.
And with that proclamation, your last frayed thread of patience snapped.
"Of course you are!" You laugh, frustrated tears welling up quickly and blurring your vision. "Why wouldn't you be? It's not like my day could get any worse !"
"Hey, now- don't cry!" The man pleaded, thoughtlessly reaching out towards you with shaking hands, the TV nearly crashing to the floor as he released his hold on it; barely managing to catch the corner with a sharp curse and lower it gently to the floor. "I'm not gonna hurt you or nothing- I'm just going to rob you a little !"
"A little? A little?" You shriek, wiping at your wet cheeks in frustration. "You're taking the most expensive thing I own! That feels like an awful lot of robbing to me!"
"That's- that's a fair point," the man conceded, scratching at his exposed chin nervously as he looked around your bare bones apartment with a critical eye; taking note of your collection of second hand furniture and threadbare curtains your old roommate's cat had delighted in shredding.
"I'm too tired to deal with this right now," you whimper as you take a step backwards into the breezeway, exhaustion winning out over more situationally appropriate emotions like absolute panic. "Take whatever you want, but I would really appreciate it if you could leave the urn on the bookcase alone. My Grandma is in there."
"I'd never-!" The man gasped, affronted by the implication he'd be despicable enough to make off with a jar full of Grandma dust.
"You're literally in the process of robbing me!" You laugh wetly, wiping your running nose onto your soaking wet sleeve. "I don't think you're allowed to be offended by my assumptions about the quality of your character right now."
"I'm sorry. This isn't- this isn't the kind of person I want to be," the man whispered, his nervously wringing hands tightening into shaking fists. "This is who I have to be."
"Whatever," you huff dismissively. "It doesn't really matter. Close the window on your way out so the rain doesn't soak down to the floorboards."
"You gonna call the cops on me?" The man asked, nervously puffing on the cigarette in his mouth, the pungent clove smoke pulled towards you by the cross breeze; drifting straight into your face and making you recoil.
"I don't live on the right side of the city for the police to care about a stolen TV," you inform him, grimacing at the tinkling sound of the buffeting rain upgrading into hailstones. "I'm just going to duck into a store or something. I'll be back in like, an hour, so it would be great if you could wrap up taking my stuff and be gone by then. It's getting late and I still need to cook dinner."
And with those parting words you gently pulled the door closed behind you and, recognizing the futility of locking a door during an active home invasion; stepped back out into the freezing rain without looking back.
The only store on your block that had bothered to stay open in such terrible weather was a tiny holistic store crammed in between a pawn shop and a seafood market. The shop owner, a serious faced woman with her hair slicked back into a painfully tight looking bun, did her best to cover up the pervasive fish odor that seeped in from the neighboring business by having three oil diffusers running all at once; but the only thing it really accomplished was adding nauseating strong floral notes to the briny air.
You felt bad lingering in her store for so long without buying anything, so after a drawn out production of pretending to consider buying crystals in a variety of cuts and sizes while internally balking at the price tags, you settled on purchasing a mood ring from one of the clearance displays. It had a large band size, too large for your fingers for sure, but it was the only thing that you could afford to purchase now that you'd have to start saving for a replacement TV.
The woman behind the counter was obviously disappointed with your thriftiness, but you pretended to ignore her sourly pursed lips as she thanked you for your business and recommended you return at a later date to have your aura cleansed.
"It's all muddy, you know," she informed you with a disapproving huff, tugging firmly on the stiff collar of her dress shirt to shift it back into place. "An aura that messy will only invite trouble and stress."
In your experience, trouble and stress never needed an invitation, but instead of voicing your thoughts you held your tongue, jammed the mood ring onto your thumb, and thanked her for the concern; snagging a business card in a show of false interest before bracing yourself for yet another slog through the rain.
It wasn't coming down quite so hard anymore, but you were already so thoroughly drenched that the waning storm felt like a meaningless show of mercy from the universe at large; a waste of whatever finite karma you'd accrued during your life thus far.
You'd boldly assumed that coming home to some guy stealing your TV would be the most surprising thing you'd walk in on today, but nothing could match the absolute astonishment you felt when you entered back into your apartment for the second time that evening.
It had been easy to imagine that your place would be a ransacked disaster at this point, electronics long gone and your personal effects scattered around haphazardly as the intruder fruitlessly searched for valuables. Instead, everything was in the same, or better, condition than you'd left it in.
The TV had been returned to its proper place on your third-hand entertainment stand, a large scratch on the side of the frame but seemingly no worse for the wear as the weatherman on screen droned on about the unprecedentedly large storm rolling through the city. The cracked window had been covered In layers of carefully placed packing tape to keep it from shattering completely; a towel spread out on the carpet beneath it to soak up the rainwater that had collected inside during the thief's botched getaway.
All the shoes in your entryway, the ones you normally kicked off and left where they landed, had been lined up in neat pairs next to the coat closet. The blanket you'd left crumpled on your lumpy couch after a quick nap yesterday had been neatly draped over the back of the sofa.
And the thief, who you thought would be long gone by now, had made himself at home in your kitchenette. With a set of mismatched hot pads on his hands he pulled a half sheet pan out of the countertop oven, the telltale aroma of baking bread filling every corner of your small apartment and driving out the lingering stench of cigarette smoke. Desperately, you wondered if he'd noticed your arrival; cautiously rocking back onto your rear foot in preparation for making a quick escape when he called out to you from across the apartment.
"Don't just stand in the doorway," the man chastised as he slid the hot tray down onto the stovetop, a small saucepan set to simmer on the next burner over. "You'll let all the warm air out."
"Uh- yeah. Of course. Sorry," you apologized reflexively, wildly unsure about what to do but deciding that the best course of action is to likely play along and keep the burglar-turned-baker calm. Pushing the door closed with a shaking hand, you did your best to keep your breathing calm and level despite the dread violently roiling in your belly; your sense of self preservation blaring in the back of your mind like a siren.
"Welcome home. Again," the thief greeted pleasantly, the toothpick in his mouth straining under the force of his clenched teeth. "You said you'd be gone for an hour."
"I- I ran out of stuff to do and figured you'd be gone by now. And not, you know- staying to clean up my apartment."
"Yeah," the man laughed, rubbing at the back of his half-masked head nervously; hand still shoved into one of your plaid oven mitts. "This isn't how these sorts of things usually go down."
"Then why did you do it?" You ask with a nervous swallow, the domestic setting making you bolder than the situation would typically dictate. "Stay, I mean?"
"It just- it seemed like you were having a really bad day," the man murmured sheepishly, pulling off the oven mitts one at a time and tossing them down onto a clear swath of counter next to the stove. "And I didn't want to make it any worse."
"Oh."
"This is- so awkward. I'm sorry," he muttered, scrubbing a hand across the stubble on his chin in frustration. "I wanted to be gone by the time you got back to avoid all of this."
"It's okay," you say, unsure as to how sincere you actually were.
"It's not okay," the man laughed dryly. "I was going to rob you- picking up your living room doesn't make it okay! It doesn't make me okay!"
"You could have done worse."
"I could have," the man nodded solemnly, the action switching to a frantic shaking a moment later. "I wouldn't have."
A realization struck you abruptly. "Tell me a lie," you demanded.
"What?"
You wrench open the coat closet door and reach inside, pulling out a chunky blue scarf; a gift from a close friend during their brief but prolific crocheting phase.
"Say this is red," you said, holding the scarf aloft for him to see. He froze, every one of his muscles set on edge as he stared at the length of knotted yarn in your grasp.
"I don't know what you're trying to prove here. You already know that I can't."
"I just- I want to make sure," you insisted, holding the scarf up a fraction higher. "Please."
"Okay," the man said, deflating as he exhaled in defeat. "The scarf is red. It's obviously blue."
Emboldened by the first successful test of your hypothesis, you stepped further into the apartment, snagging a purple tissue box off of the coffee table with your free hand and holding it up for the man to see.
"And this?"
"Green. It's purple."
Gliding further into your apartment, you deposited the scarf and the tissue box onto the card table you ate your meals at, and grabbed an overripe banana from the bowl of half-rotten fruit you kept replenishing each week; ever hopeful that you'd wake up one day with the self restraint necessary to reach for an apple instead of a bag of chips when you felt snacky.
"This banana?"
"Teal. Black- that's one nasty looking banana!"
"It is, isn't it? I should probably just throw it out," you say with a grimace as your finger hits a soft spot on the peel and sinks down into the goey inner banana flesh.
"Here, catch!" the man called out, tossing a slightly damp dish rag towards you, which you miraculously managed to snatch out of the air.
"Thank you."
"No problem."
It was quiet for a moment while you wiped the mealy banana goo from your finger, digging under your nail with the stiff corner of the towel. "So you can't lie," you mused. "Is that a Quirk thing?"
"May as well be, I guess," the man sighed, turning to examine the squat loaf of bread cooling on your stove top. "I want to go ahead and slice this. You won't freak out if I grab a knife, will you?"
"Depends," you reply evasively with narrowed eyes as he pulled a knife half way out of the knife block, examining the edge with a frown before sliding it back into place. "Do you plan on slicing me up, too?"
"These knives are so dull I don't think I could even if I wanted to," he groused, pulling another knife out for inspection with a dissatisfied frown. "And I don't want to."
Eyes locked on the intruder's back; you lowered yourself down carefully into the closest dining chair; knees weak and mind reeling from the surreal turn your evening had taken. "So you don't want my stuff, and you don't want to hurt me- what exactly do you want?"
"What I want-," the man paused, a triumphant fist pump accompanying his discovery of a serrated blade. "Is for you to try this bread that I made."
"And then you'll leave?"
"I'll leave right now if that's what you want," the man offered, running the scalloped edge across the craggy top crust of the bread and laughing delightedly at the scraping sound it made. "Do you hear that? That's one crispy crust! This loaf is gonna be goooood."
"How did you even make bread, anyway? I know for a fact that I don't have any yeast."
"You don't really have much of anything. Believe me, I checked," the man grinned cheekily over his shoulder at you, as though he thought his confession about rifling through your apartment was charming and not a blatant invasion of privacy. "But lucky for you, I'm well versed in poverty meals. Mix up a basic bread dough, add in a beer where the yeast should be, shove that baby into the oven and you're ready to go! There's a bit more to it than that."
"Well, it smells wonderful. This is probably the best this apartment has ever smelled."
"No kidding! You get a discount for having the unit right above the dumpster?"
"I wish," You sighed forlornly, taking a moment to imagine how much easier your life would be with even a slightly lower cost of living. "But taking out the trash is pretty convenient, I can just drop it in from the fire escape."
"Bowls?" He inquired as he shut the heat off under the saucepan, giving it one final stir.
"Oh- I only have a couple. They're probably on the drying rack."
He salutes you sharply before shuffling off to follow your instructions, carefully selecting and stacking the dishes into his arms like they were valuable pieces of china and not the very worst a home store clearance rack had to offer. You twisted your too-big mood ring anxiously around your thumb, reminding yourself with every turn that the man in front of you, despite his seemingly affable nature, wasn't a guest. He was an intruder in your home, no better than the mice that darted behind your fridge when you turned the kitchen light on in the middle of the night.
Although the mice had never cooked you dinner before, so you suppose that was a point in his favor.
"Careful- careful," the man whispered quietly to himself, inching across the floor towards you with two bowls of soup balanced on his forearm; bracing the overhanging rims with a plate stacked lopsidedly with still steaming bread slices. He gingerly deposited the bowls onto the table, sliding yours to a stop directly in front of you without any of the broth sloshing over the edge; an impressive feat considering that he'd filled it up to the brim.
"Nailed it!" He crowed in pride, tossing the plate full of bread down onto the table unceremoniously, the thick slices nearly bouncing off the plate from his rough handling. Collapsing into the folding chair opposite if you in what could only be described as a sprawl, you watch with thinly veiled interest as he pushes his mask up over the bridge of his nose. Nostrils fully uncovered, he hunches over the bowl of soup and inhales deeply, flapping his hands to fan the aromatic vapors directly towards his face.
"Not too shabby for a can of soup and leftover veggies!"
"Is that what this is?" You ask curiously, giving the soup a small stir, trudging up a floret of seared broccoli that definitely came from takeout earlier in the week.
"Don't be shy now. Dig in!" The man encouraged, placing a large chunk of soup-drenched bread into his mouth with a happy sigh. The soup was perfectly edible, nothing to write home about but still a notable effort considering the meager ingredients your kitchen had to offer. But the bread was a different story entirely.
"This crust is incredible!" You gasp, the dry crumbs sticking to your lips.
"A good dinner for a rainy night," the man stated, holding his half devoted bread slice out towards yours. "Cheers?"
"Cheers!" You laugh, pushing your slice of bread against his; the crusts impacting and sending a dusting of flaky bread crumbs tumbling onto the surface of the table.
"Whoopsy-daisy! I'll get that, don't worry," the man reassured you, licking his finger and tapping it across the table, picking up crumbs as he went.
"'Whoopsy-daisy', huh?" You muse, sipping at a spoonful of soup thoughtfully. "How many kids do you have?"
"Kids? Oh, no- I don't- I don't have any of those," he stammered, shoving his crumb covered finger into his mouth and removing it with a comical pop. "Her name's Himiko."
"That's…quite the discrepancy between those two answers."
"Himiko isn't- she's not mine, mine. But she's mine, you know? In all the ways that should matter."
"So you love her then?"
"Of course I do. She's a great kid."
"That's all that matters then, isn't it?" You smiled sincerely, the first grin of the evening not strained through a filter of worry. The man seemed to notice the subtle shift in your demeanor, the tension in his posture softening ever so slightly as he somehow managed to slouch even farther down in his seat.
It had been a long time since you'd eaten alone with someone. You went out after work with colleagues sometimes, but the places that you always ended up were crowded and noisy; tables and booths crammed to near bursting to accommodate the ravenous waves of dinner rush patrons. The last meal you'd eaten at home with someone was likely before you moved into this apartment, when you still lived off-campus with a couple of roommates you liked progressively less with each passing week.
You'd been beyond thrilled to land a job that paid enough to allow you to live alone, even though affording to do so meant relocating across town to a less desirable zip code. But a slight downgrade in living conditions was well worth the benefit of knowing you'd never again have to live through the experience of walking in on your roommate and their booty call having sex on your bed because it was 'more comfortable' than theirs.
While you would never miss the stacks of unwashed dishes left to putrefy in the sink or having to wipe urine splatters off of the toilet seat before you could relieve yourself, it was hard to deal with the constant quiet sometimes. The drone of the TV couldn't replace someone asking about your day or replicate the joy of shared laughter.
And you couldn't help but wonder if it was a similar situation for the man across from you.
"Is it okay for me to ask your name?" You murmur quietly, eyes locked on your own hands as you push a tomato chunk around your bowl with the back of your spoon. "I understand if you don't want me to know. The less I probably know about you the better, huh? I'm sorry, that was stupid of me. Forget I said anything-"
"Twice. You should call me Twice," the man interrupted; letting out an irritated grunt before opening his mouth once more. "I want you to call me Jin."
Thrown off balance once again by his contradictory requests, your brain races frantically to find some sort of middle ground between the two.
"Do you want me to call you Jin…twice? Like, JinJin?"
"That's a little ah- intimate , dontcha' think?" Jin said, a nervous cough punctuating his sentence sharply. He pulled the bottom edge of his mask down further, trying to cover up the tell-tale embarrassed burn of his cheeks without compromising his ability to eat. "Just Jin is fine."
"Alright. Thank you for the meal, Jin. This is a much nicer dinner than I would have put together for myself, even if I hadn't been delayed by some guy breaking into my apartment," you joked, sending a pointed look Jin's way; politely averting your eyes and pretending not to notice his splotchy blush creeping even further down his cheeks.
"A burglar, huh? Sounds like a real heel."
"Maybe," you murmured thoughtfully as you watched Jin try and cram an entire slice of bread into his mouth at once. "But I don't think he's all that bad."
Jin, having gone back for a second serving of soup, was the last to finish eating. You swooped in and grabbed his bowl before he could object, placing it on the counter as you waited for the sink to finish filling so you could begin washing the dishes.
"You don't have to do that," Jin grumbled from his position behind you, standing close enough for you to feel him nervously shuffling from foot to foot. "I can clean up after myself. "
"Nope, sorry. It's the house rules," you sighed forlornly, acting as though you weren't the sole person responsible for making those rules. "If you cook, you don't clean up."
"Is there anything else I could do? Help you out a little more?"
"I guess you could help me dry?" You offer, scooting over slightly to make room for him in your tiny kitchen area.
"Aye-aye, Captain!" Jin saluted as he slotted into place next to you, grabbing the dripping wet cup you offered out to him with one hand and picking up a dry dishrag with the other.
The sounds of clinking cutlery and the slow but steady dripping of your faucet worked together with the rumbling storm outside to craft a peaceful atmosphere; one that helped soften the sharp edges of reality and allowed you to gloss over the fact that you were having a very pleasant time with the man who had started out the evening with the intention of robbing you blind.
It was reckless and stupid, but you couldn't help but worry a little about what would happen to Jin once he left your apartment. If he was desperate enough to resort to theft for some quick cash, you couldn't help but wonder and worry about what sort of life awaited him outside of the cramped comfort of your home.
"Are you going to be okay? Once you leave?" You ask, prying up a stubborn piece of dried food from the tines of a fork with your fingernail.
"That's one heck of a loaded question!" Jin laughed sharply. "The world is an absolute mess right now, society is on the brink of collapsing in on itself- I don't think anyone is going to be okay for a long, long time."
"Yeah, but- there's nothing I can do about any of that stuff," you sigh quietly, watching the small bubbles on the surface of the water swirl around your wrists. "But I can help you, if you need it. I probably have enough money to put you up at a hotel for the night. Keep you out of the storm."
"You're too kind," Jin murmured quietly, his voice heavy with appreciation. "But I don't want you to worry about me, okay? Things are…difficult right now. But it won't last forever."
"I wish I had your optimism."
"It's not optimism," Jin said, placing the last plate into the drying rack next to the sink and passing you the dish towel to wipe your hands on.
"What is it then?" You asked, unable to fully dry your hands on the wet cloth, so you settled for simply wiping off the lingering film of bubbles from the back of your hands.
"Experience,” he said, scratching thoughtlessly at the scruff growing unevenly across his exposed jaw. “My life has always been- well, bad. Mostly. I used to really hate that. Thought it wasn't fair. But now I don't mind so much."
"Why not?"
"Well, eventually I realized that the bad times I went through made all the good things in my life seem even better," he said, turning his head to gaze out of your taped up window, as though he would be able to see the sky and not the moldering plaster exterior of the apartment complex next to yours. "Stars wouldn't be anything special if it wasn't for all that dark space between em', you know?"
You thought back on your day, on the series of disastrous events that had weighed you down soured your disposition, and how now; with the passage of time and the balm of Jin's companionship, the day didn't feel quite so dreadful in retrospect.
"I hope you saved room for dessert," you smiled, turning to riffle through a cabinet for the small package of cookies you kept tucked away for emergencies.
"Thanks, but I'm still full from dinner. There's always room for a treat or two!"
The bag of cookies, already half empty from propping you up emotionally during the dramatic season finale of the show you'd binged last weekend, didn't last long. But you and Jin did your best to stretch out the warm comfort of the evening as long as you could; chatting over the commercials as the emergency weather broadcast came to a conclusion.
"Welcome back, viewers!" A man with slicked back hair and an unfortunate mustard colored blazer greeted as the title card for the incoming show disappeared from the screen. "You're tuned in to 'Top 10 at 10', the show where we look back at the week's top moments from the Top Ranked Heroes! Next up is the Winged Hero: Hawks, swooping in for a rescue-!"
"Ugh," you groan, patting the couch cushions around you in search of the remote. "Is the controller over by you? I want to change the channel."
"Nope, no controller," Jin said, his focus solely on the TV as the Number Two Hero crashed through a window on the top most floor of a burning apartment building. "So, you're not a Hawks fan I take it?"
"Hawks gives me weird vibes," you admit, lifting up a throw pillow to peer down into the space next to the arm of the sofa as Hawks waved casually on the screen, a shaking Pomeranian tucked securely under his arm as he floated to the ground. "I don't trust people who always smile. It feels like they're trying to hide something."
"You're a good judge of character, aren't you?" Had you been less focused on your frantic search for the remote you would have noticed Jin's uncomfortable fidgeting and repeatedly clenching fists, but you'd missed those telltale signs that preceded a shift in his personality. So the sudden appearance of that voice, the brash one you'd grown accustomed to hear chiding and correcting Jin's half-truths, was unnerving. You wondered how loud his unspoken thoughts must be for that second voice to feel the need to comment on Jin's internal dialogue.
"I used to think so," you laugh dryly, the hand you'd been using to fish around in the couch coming up with a fistful of crumbs and an old tin of forgotten breath mints. "But recent events definitely have me reevaluating that assumption about myself."
"You shouldn't-," Jin swallowed thickly, carefully considering his words; weighting them for sincerity lest he stray too far off the line of authenticity and unwittingly reveal too much. "Don't make me be the reason you doubt yourself. I'll take the blame for all sorts of stuff, but I don't want that to be on me, okay?"
"Okay," you whispered, once again fumbling to regain your emotional footing. Talking with Jin was like walking across a messy room with your eyes closed, constantly tripping up and unsure of what caused you to even stumble in the first place.
"I mean, if you can't trust yourself, then who can you trust?" Jin asked, his voice only just beneath a bellow and pulled thin at the edges; a manic sort of cry that poorly covered his underlying distress. "I can't trust myself anymore!"
"You can’t?"
"No. I- I broke that trust. I broke myself."
Carefully, you lower yourself down on the cushion next to him; a vulnerable place for an unguarded moment. "I know that it probably doesn't mean much of anything coming from me- we're pretty much strangers," you admit with a helpless sort of shrug, extending a hand out towards him like you would a cowering animal; slowly, carefully, like you half expected to be bitten for your trouble. "But I trust you."
"You don't know me. I don't even know if I'm me," he admits with a watery sniff, accepting your outstretched hand with his shaking fingers.
"This Jin, this you- ," you emphasize with a tight squeeze of your hand. "-is the only one I know. And I happen to think he's pretty alright."
"Even for a bad guy?"
"You're the best bad guy I know," you assure him readily, the words somehow playful despite their sincerity. But it seems like Jin was looking for a way out of the mire of introspection he'd waded into and quickly took the metaphorical hand you'd extended; lifting himself out of his head with a breathy chuckle.
"I am pretty great, aren't I?"
"A terrible thief, but an excellent chef."
"Guess I missed my calling in life!" He grinned brightly, sucking up the bead of snot dripping from his nose.
"It's never too late to change."
"It is for me."
You waited anxiously, almost desperately for that second voice to cry out in objection, but the room remained silent except for the canned laughter piping in through the TV speakers. Whatever path Jin was on offered him no alternative, no deviation from the bumpy road beneath his feet.
"Earlier, you told me that this isn't who you want to be. That this is who you have to be."
"Who I need to be. Who they need me to be."
"Will you do something for me?" You asked, easily sliding the mood ring off of your thumb and spinning it between the fingers of your free hand. "One last favor and we'll call it even?"
"Of course," Jin nodded solemnly as his chest puffed up; proud to be entrusted with carrying out a task for you.
"When you have the chance, I want you to make the choice you want. Be the Jin you want to be," you pleaded, sliding the mood ring easily onto his much larger pointer finger.
"This like a promise ring or something?"
"I suppose," you hum thoughtfully. "But only if you promise."
He held the ring up in front of his face, watching the colors swirl and shift rapidly across the gleaming black stone; far more active than it had been on your own hand. Jin clenched his fist, locking the ring onto his finger like he was scared it might tumble from his grasp and disappear into the unknown abyss alongside your remote, never to be seen again. You couldn't see his eyes, only the expressive patterning on his mask that managed to contort with his fluctuating disposition, but there was a sudden weight upon your shoulders that let you know that you were the sole object of his intense focus.
Jin lifted his ringed hand into the air between you, splaying his fingers wide in front of your face. The dark, swirling gem of his ring glimmering merrily from the vicinity of your forehead, a third eye for Jin to take with him; an eye that would see him in the way he craved- as the Jin that existed solely in your gaze.
"I promise."
The night, as all things, could not last forever. But you were unprepared for the abrupt way that Jin threw himself up from the couch when the late night News broadcast cut to live coverage of a crime in progress; a patch-skinned man cackling in delight as he threw bright blue flames from the back of a speeding van at pursuing police vehicles.
"That idiot, " he hissed, patting his sides and butt like he was checking for keys or a phone that were very obviously not tucked into his spandex suit. "I have to go."
"Oh ," you manage to say through the clenching knot of dismay that had tied itself up in your chest. “Will you come back?"
"I- I shouldn't," he whispered, regret palpable in every syllable. "I want to."
Hastily, you stumbled to your feet and strode across the living room, grabbing the ceramic urn you had on prominent display before circling back and stopping directly in front of Jin.
"Here,” you said, pushing the vase firmly into Jin's arms. “Take this.”
"For the last time, I'm not going to take your Grandma!" Jin cried in exasperation, pushing the floral patterned urn back into your arms.
"Please," you snorted, lifting off the lid and pulling out a small plastic bag of gray ashes, shaking it back and forth in the air. "This isn't actual people powder. It's a bunch of charcoal ash I grabbed from my neighbor's grill."
"Then why do you-?"
"I'm not totally naive," you said, hooking your hand on the rim of the urn and gently jostling it, the tell tale clinking of coins echoing from inside. "Every burglar grabs a piggy bank, but very few think to check a jar of apparent human remains."
"I can't take your savings," Jin protested weakly, staring down longingly at the handfuls of bills scattered amongst the change. "I'm not gonna steal from you."
"Of course you're not. First of all, this is a gift ," you emphasize, pushing the urn more firmly against his chest. "And second, this isn't for you."
"It's not?" Jin asked bewilderedly, twisting his head around to check if a second criminal had snuck into the apartment while he was distracted.
"Nope. This is for Himiko," you explained, letting go of the vase and stepping back so Jin had no choice but to tighten his grip on the money jar or let it crash to the ground. "Buy her something nice, okay? And treat yourself while you’re at it."
"I- I will," he promised, unable to refuse your gesture if it meant securing some measure of comfort for Himiko. Tucking the urn safely into the crook of his arm, Jin tugged his mask down; obscuring his face fully for the first time. It was impressive how much that narrow swath of exposed skin had been carved into your memory in such a short span of time. Even now, through the cover of a mask, you could still make out the small hints of Jin that lay beneath; the jut of his chin, the set of his jaw, the jittery way he clicked his teeth together.
With a grace you wouldn't expect of a man his size, he slipped towards the patched up window, prying up the frame and squeezing an entire leg out onto your fire escape before he noticed your bewildered expression.
"What is it? What's wrong?"
"You- you don't have to sneak out the window," you explained, pivoting your body to point towards the entryway. "You can just use the door."
"Right! The door! Of course!" Jin laughed, smacking himself in the forehead as he pulled his leg back into your apartment, hopping clumsily on one foot until his appendage was fully free. "Forgot that you had one of those."
"Well, I hope you don't forget again," you chastise playfully, guiding him out of your front door and into your apartment breezeway. "Because I sure would appreciate it if you'd knock next time."
"Next time?" Jin asked, voice hitching hopefully at the invitation.
"Bye, Jin," you smiled, giving him a small wave as you slowly closed the door. "See you later!"
"Right," he murmured, staring down at his fluctuating mood ring, a smile creeping along his face as white specks scattered across the dark blue stone; like stars glimmering brilliantly in the dark night sky. "Later."

the scent wafts in, her name making him beg on his knees chap 2.2
pairing: dabi / todoroki touya x fem!oc / reader (MODERN AU)
chapeter summary: Touya finally reveals how he met the reason behind his return (MODERN AU)
(In which Touya returns home after rebelling against his family for 7 years. And no, it wasn't about forgiveness. He wanted to fix himself because of a certain someone.)
themes: mentions of prostitution, nsfw, domestic abuse, violence, alcoholism, cigarette smoking, toxic relationships, mental health, co-dependency and other related themes (YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)
notes: for this one, pls keep in mind that touya didn't have much scars on his face; mostly are on his body to accomodate the plot; charas might be ooc since this is modern au
It seemed to Touya's therapist that the latter had revealed everything that needed to be said about his past and how he got into addiction. However, Touya wouldn't elaborate on certain details about how he survived living away from his family, and even if he did, he would give short answers. For example, when he asked him where he stayed afterward, he simply answered that he had gone to a friend. And then he asked, "What jobs did you do to survive?" Touya answered with, "I did convenience store work. Also a bit of a warehouse stint, like for a logistics company. I also became a dishwasher for a ramen stall. It wasn't easy money, so I had to go to the red district. I worked in a host bar for 2 years and a few. Quit then joined illegal fight clubbing. Also part-timed for a bar because I wasn't fighting a lot. My last job was being a carpenter for a furniture company."
That was it. No explanations on how he landed those jobs or the specifics of his work. Just plainly answered them like a recorded interview.
Touya was aware his therapist was unhappy with his responses. To be honest, there are parts of his job that he wasn't ready to discuss yet. He had overwhelming feelings about revealing the scars of his childhood and teenage life; he wanted to take a break from feeling a lot. It was causing him nightmares, sleepless nights of when his younger self would sleep beside him in his room and ask him why he did all these things. But at the same time, this younger self would cry, a height of emotions as he begged him to return to his old self again.
I wished it was that easy, though.
"Are you still seeing her?" the therapist asked during their next session. "I remember you mentioning her before all of a sudden. It seemed you were happy when you talked about her. May I know more details about your relationship with her?"
Touya stared blankly, and the therapist feared he would close up in his shell further. Maybe asking him about her was a bit too much. Maybe this woman was a sensitive topic for him. Well, he could try next—
"She's the reason I am here," Touya revealed, thinking about the last image he had seen of her before he left their shared space. "She's a nice, hopeless woman."
The therapist nodded, listing down everything he said about her in his journal. "So, did she ask you to go to therapy?"
Touya shook his head. "She never asked me to do anything." And he sighed exasperatedly at the next words, seemingly reminding himself of the bad things he saw in her when he got to know her. It still annoyed him, to be honest. "That's what makes her hopeless. She never asks for what she wants. It's like she's born to please people."
"Are you two... dating?" the therapist asked, and he knew it was a stupid question but he had to be sure. "I mean you know, because you mentioned having sex with her and everything."
"Yes. We're dating. We're still dating."
The therapist didn't know why but there was a lot of emphasis when Touya said he was still dating this woman. It's like he's telling someone out there to 'back off' since she was his and he was hers. Well, it was true. The night before he left, he begged her not to be someone else's, that she should only be his; and she promised him. She fucking promised him, and she should keep it or else he'll go insane at the thought of her being with someone else.
Great. Now, he's displaying a new emotion. Jealousy. Possessiveness. Kind of an improvement, I guess?
"Are you two writing letters to each other?"
Touya's answer worried him greatly.
"No. I purposely don't write a letter."
"Why?" He wanted to say, 'Shouldn't you write her one just to assure her about your welfare and the status of your relationship?' Then again, it would be out of line since it's not his job to tell Touya what to do in the first place.
"I depended on her a lot; used her a lot when I needed to feel," the whitehead reasoned out, remembering all the things that he did to her and what she had to endure just for him to stay. "I have to be on my own so I can be with her again."
"I understand." The therapist closed his journal. "How did you two get into a relationship?"
"She cheated on her ex with me."
Now, that was unexpected.
"C-Cheated," the therapist had to repeat to clarify what he heard, "like you two are in a relationship while she was dating someone else?"
Touya sighed. He knew telling people about how he dated her would gain this kind of unbelievable reaction. After all, they never started out as the usual 'boy-meets-girl-they-got-to-know-each-other-courtship-dating-happy-ever-after' thing. Although it was bad enough that Touya was not the best guy to date, being with her meant trouble. Sure, she was the nicest person, but at the time, she was involved in a messy dipshit, and the idiot he was, he took a dive in there like it was home sweet home.
"It's not like I seduced her or stole her from her ex," Touya quickly added, feeling slightly uncomfortable at talking about this stage of meeting her. "She had only dated that guy since high school, so she was kind of scared of a life without him in it. Even when she wasn't in love with him anymore, she still kept the relationship going despite him cheating on her since college... well, according to her, at least."
"So you're saying, the relationship had already crumbled even before you came into the picture."
Touya nodded, to which the therapist wanted to sigh secretly in relief. He had other patients lined up for the day, and he was already getting drama from his revelations.
"How did you two meet?"
"At a bar. She was on a date with her ex."
------
Sometime in spring 2 years ago, somewhere in Shizuoka
Touya was sitting by the counter, his back leaning against it as he drank his whiskey with one hand. There was nothing fun about this day; this was his usual routine of drinking his life away like he gained multiple livers. Eat. Sleep. Wake up. Take a shower. Smoke shit. Drink. Smoke some more. Eat when he's hungry. Sleep. Wake up. Take a shower. Smoke shit. Drink. Smoke some more. Eat when he's hungry...
It could go on and on, his life nothing but a spiral filled with misery and stagnancy—
He hears Tomura talking to someone at the counter over the phone, probably about shipments of the booze they'll be needing and all that stuff while Himiko sips on her juice placed in a martini glass. It was just a ruse so she could fit in. There's no way Tomura would allow the bartenders to serve her alcohol.
"What's the game plan tonight, Dabi-kun?" Toga asked, excitement and curiosity in her tone. "Are we gonna have fun somewhere?"
"You just want to empty my wallet and buy your shit stuff," Touya noted angrily, aware of how Himiko would steal his wallet every now and then to buy most of her female things. "Just get your allowance from Twice, not me."
Himiko pouted, leaning her chin on her hands. "How rude! You know Twice is strict when it comes to giving me money."
Touya narrowed his eyes on hers. No, he's not. He spoils you rotten. He's just short in cash now because of you.
He left the conversation hanging, noticing a couple arrive inside the bar, their arms linking against each other. One might think this was your usual couple wanting to have drinks and get laid afterward, but no. Touya knew just by looking at their faces that they weren't in sync. The woman was holding her boyfriend's arm a bit tightly but with unease whenever she glanced at him. She looked like she didn't know this kind of place, trying to pull down her skirt to cover the exposed skin on her legs. On the other hand, the man's eyes wandered elsewhere, not paying attention to how the woman was on the edge by herself, looking forward to having fun on his own.
Great. You got a womanizer and a hopeless romantic. What a drama. We even got front-row seats.
Touya didn't pay attention to them anymore, joining Himiko's conversation with Tomura about the latest things she saw some of her classmates do during their free time and how she wanted to do it with them as well. After a few more minutes, Twice would chime in, informing her that he was saving up a lot of money to take Himiko to the movies ("I heard you tell Dabi you want to watch this movie. I still think it's shit but you like it!" "Aww! Thank you, Twice.")
And then, Twice and Dabi decided to go to the back of the bar and take a smoke.
"Oi, better tell that makeshift daughter of yours not to snatch my wallet every fucking time," Touya scolded him. "Seriously, you should've told her you're saving up instead of her trying to get money elsewhere."
"Sorry, Dabi," Twice replied. "But it's not like you didn't steal her charger either!"
"Screw you. I never steal shit from her."
"Well, you used to steal from others—"
"Oi—"
Then they heard smooching and moaning sounds, kind of like wet clapping along with a string of pants and curses. They stared at each other and it clicked. Someone was having sex at the back. Horny shits. Can't even wait to bed or hump in the car at least before getting it on.
Touya took a good look to see who it was and found it was the same guy he saw earlier, and he was fucking one of the cocktail servers, lost in hazy pleasure and not giving a care if someone took a shot of them or get caught by his woman. Twice also took a peek behind him, and was about to open his mouth to reprimand them when Touya grabbed his collar and dragged him back inside.
"D-Dabi! They're having sex in our usual spot," he pointed out as-a-matter-of-fact-ly, crying internally that he had to wait for a bit before he had his daily dose of nicotine. "I wanna have a smoke now!"
"Let's just go someplace else," Touya said, scanning the area to see the woman sitting by herself, quietly sipping her drink but not too much. And the way she was covering her shoulders a lot with her hands like she was warming her skin as she looked around gave the same aura she had earlier. It's frustrating him, to be honest. This woman could've gone home and worn her favorite clothes instead of trying to fit in this place.
Touya must have been staring at her for too long because Twice had to ask.
"Do you know her?" Twice asked, to which Touya shook his head.
"You remember the guy's face earlier, right?" Touya inquired and Twice nodded. He would never forget that jerk, trampling their spot with his wild shenanigans. "He's that girl's boyfriend."
"W-WHAT?! She looks so pretty!" Twice exclaimed in horror, realizing that the pair was on a date and her boyfriend had the guts to be a jackass and leave her alone while having the time of his life. "I wanna kill that jerk right now." But then... "Oh no, she might cry. She's too pretty for tears."
Before realizing it, Touya was already walking towards her, ignoring Twice' cries for him to stop getting himself in trouble (he adds later on that he would like that too but it's not the right time). As the woman continues to warm herself up, Touya sits in front of her and catches her attention.
"T-That's for—"
"You don't fit in here," he casually stated. No preamble. No greetings. No hi or hello. Just straight up telling her she's not supposed to be in this place like the rude person he is. "You don't look like you should be in here too."
Twice luckily was there and was about to reprimand Touya for his lack of tact, that he should be a lot gentler with ladies, or probably stop him from telling her they saw her boyfriend getting hanky panky with someone else out there. Before he could say anything, the woman chuckled awkwardly, looking around her.
"W-Well... I-I'm aware of that," she agreed. "It's my first time coming in, and I... I don't like wearing this dress either."
Noticing her distress, Twice immediately called Himiko over and asked if he could borrow one of her hoodies for her, but before said girl could go upstairs to get one of her beloved clothes, Touya already took off his black leather jacket and handed it to the woman.
"O-Oh. T-Thanks," she mumbled, taking the jacket and wrapping it around her shoulders.
Touya stood up and motioned for Twice and Himiko to join him. "I know a place where we could smoke," then added, "and another place where you can watch your romance shit for free."
Himiko cheered. "Whoopie doopie! As expected of Dabi-kun!"
Twice nodded. "You're not entirely useless, after all."
Touya looked over to the woman. "You're coming with us."
The woman looked frazzled, waving her hands in negation. "N-No... I-I'm with my boyfriend. H-He just went to the toilet. He'll be back. T-Thank you."
Judging by how silly her alibi was, Touya only chuckled in sarcasm, leaning closer to her face as if to challenge her to prove that alibi. "Are you sure you want to go by that answer?" Because she knew where her boyfriend went, what he was doing exactly, and why she was all alone in this bar feeling out of place like a sore thumb.
"I... I..."
Before she could think, Himiko already handed Touya his car keys and he was already pulling her with them, his hand in hers as they escaped the place.

Random idea: here are the LOV as parents to your child. (this is written as female reader btw [no she/her, but pregnancy], so feel free to use your imagination!) [Also, this may be a long one, so I hope you got a few minutes]
~~~♡♡♡~~~
Dabi: Now this guy has no clue on how to be a good father due to his past, but what he does know is to not do what his dad did. When he finds out you're pregnant with his kid, he feels pissed off at first, but after thinking it over, he decides that he's okay with it. When you try to do something, he'll go and do it for you, out of frustration/annoyance and calls you a 'dumbass' for not asking him. He goes with you wherever you go as a 'bodyguard'. He relishes in the fact that he can use this as ammo against Endeavor, being a better father than his ever was. When he holds the baby for the first time after its born, he'll never show it (maybe a little grin), but this man has melted and he is smitten over his child. He's not one for baby talk or peekaboo, so he talks to his child like an adult, nix the cursing of course. When he and his child are alone, he tells it stories about his childhood and how he doesn't want them to go through what he did.
Verdict: emotionally distant, but an okay father.
~~~♡♡♡~~~
Spinner: Totally clueless, he's still practically a child himself. When you tell him you're pregnant, he wonders how the hell that happened (he doesn't know how deep his quirk affects his genetics) and worries about how the kid will be treated if it ended up looking like him and if he'll be a good father or not. Poor lil ball of anxiety. You have to calm him down by telling him you'll be there to help and that no one is a perfect parent and that's okay. After calming down, he soon grows to the idea of having a little him or you around. He will constantly ask you how you're feeling and if you need anything, just a nervous sweetheart. Your pregnant belly is his favorite pillow to rest his head on while he's playing games. When he feels a kick, he feels a bit of satisfaction knowing that he put that in there. Once the baby is born, he is surprised that it's fully human. The minute he holds the baby and sees that it has his eyes, he starts crying, but tries to be manly about it. Little one grows up not being afraid of lizards or snakes because of their daddy. Spinner has his kid in his lap or sleeping on him while playing video games, gently putting them on a pillow nearby before raging over a loss in the game.
Verdict: worried but good gamer dad
~~~♡♡♡~~~
Twice: Oh man, this guy. You tell him you're pregnant, he is over the moon, hugging and kissing you. You're a seen how he acts around Toga, so you had no worries on his abilities. He'll be present at every doctor's appointment (or at least ask you many questions about them or have toga go with you if he can't make some of them) and you two have so much fun picking out names for it. This guy will be so protective of you that it's adorable and he will be your servant, doing whatever you ask. When he sees the baby for the first time, he is immediately in love. He will be a blubbering mess when he holds them. He does all the baby talk and peekaboos and is not ashamed of it. Later on, these two are inseparable. Partners in crime. (Seriously, this man deserves to have a loving partner and family after all the shit he's been through).
Verdict: all-time Dad of the Year award recipient
~~~♡♡♡~~~
Mr. Compress: Awkward dad. He never thought about having kids, didn't even want any. Until he met you. When you tell him you're pregnant, he is overjoyed. If this man treated you like a princess before, you have been upgraded to queen/goddess status. He is your servant; man will not let you lift a finger. Deep down, he is panicking over what to do or how to be a dad. But once he has his child in his arms, the yellow man is a mellow man. In love right away. Loves to show the baby little magic tricks, which earns him giggles and smiles, the best reaction. Lil one is his #2 fan, #1 being you, but it's a close call.
Verdict: may start out awkward, but soon becomes a good dad.
~~~♡♡♡~~~
Shigaraki: okay, we all know the trauma he went through. When he finds out you're pregnant, he gets angry. The kind of anger where he has to walk away before unleashing it, but not before having an argument with you. But you know that deep down, this man is terrified. He wants to be happy, but is too scared of hurting the little one or it hating him. You console him and tell him that things will work out alright and that you'll be there with him to help. All he does after that is lay his head on your belly and start crying. He'll later on brag about you being pregnant to his colleagues. He will have other people, if not him, do anything you ask. If anyone tries to hurt you or the baby, their ass becomes ash. Is a bit weirded out when he feels the baby kick for the first time. Once that baby is born, he falls to pieces, ready to die for this child. Baby can be seen playing with one of Shiggy's severed hands at some point and Kurogiri babysitting it once in a while. That kid will grow up to be Shigaraki's little apprentice, someone wanting to be just like their daddy.
Verdict: not the best dad in the world, but he's trying. Does a much better job after his awakening. Just keep the baby away from AFO.
~~~♡♡♡~~~

Convenience!Y/n: What he said, don't want a raise!?-Then we walk home to our illegal one-bedroom apartment, get three hours of NyQuil endued sleep before we have to get back up, and share a bowl of Spanish language Cheerios-
Co-Worker: It's the same thing but the C wears a sombrero...
Convenience!Y/n: So no. I am not about to give you our hard-earned money. And if you're gonna shoot me, better aim good cause if you miss I will climb over this counter, tear off your head and it'll be our new tip jar.
Raggedy Hipster: Yeah, I just robbed Pizza Pizza. Here's the $20. Have a good night-
Jin*Chin resting on his palm watching you with puppy love eyes*...they have such a way with people~

wHATS UP BESTIE, ITS ME, YA BOI- nah nah I’m kidding, anyways, I’m here for a Drabble/HC request For twice, please.
so, what if Jin’s S/O has a lot of animals, like mayybbee and/or not specifically 5 puppies, a snake, and some mice?
*no, I would never make this a self indulgent ask- how dare you?/j*
Maybe the animals help him calm down? Maybe he doesn’t like specific animals so he’s like “…it’s cute but I think I’m dieing a little on the inside”
idk, which is why I’m asking you bestie!
best of luck with my very non specific and not self indulgent ask :>
twice/jin bubaigawara x reader with lots of pets
OH MY GOD HI BESTIE!! i was so happy to get this request bc i also have a lot of pets! i def did not make this self indulgent for you at all. no way. i aldo did Not get carried away writing this. anyway i hope you like it!!
•definitely enjoys exotic pets, specifically the mice. would absolutely adore them and i can just imagine him in pure bliss while a couple mice crawl over him.
•maybe not as into the snake but would be cool about it. will help u feed and take care of it, might hold it sometimes, but is probably a tad bit scared of it
•ABSOLUTELY LOVES THE PUPPIES. they are his absolute favorite he loves everything about them, always very enthusiastic when taking care of them, even the messier parts of taking care of puppies can't dull his enthusiasm and pure joy. loves to do actual puppy piles with them. absolutely a dog person
•with his s/o he's so helpful with taking care of whatever pets you have, even if he doesn't particularly care for them. will absolutely help you with anything with them. he expresses his love through acts of service and this is no different
•if you have dogs you WILL find him in the dog bed cuddling with the puppies more than once. better have a big one.
•will absolutely pet sit for you if you have to be gone for long. probably breaks into your house to give them treats anyway if we're real. your pets love him lmao
•gets as attached to your pets as you do. takes them getting sick or injured worse than you, will do the hard work of giving pets medicine for you if needed
•finds taking care of animals really relaxing and fulfilling. he usually feeds them before you're able to, he LOVES grooming the pets if they need it, likes taking them for walks or playing with them, like literally loves all of it
•absolutely buys your pets clothes. even exotic animals. he will make them himself if he has to. i'm going to make a wild reach and say that since he uses a tape measurer for his clones he also knows how to sew. is it unrealistic? maybe. do i care? absolutely not.
•has tried to make homemade treats for your pets before. your walls still have scorch marks. you don't know how he did it and you don't ask
•overall he really really enjoys your pets especially if you have dogs!!

𝙷𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚌𝚊𝚗𝚘𝚗𝚜: 𝙼𝙷𝙰 𝙼𝚎𝚗 𝚆𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚊 𝚂𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚕𝚎𝚝 𝚆𝚒𝚝𝚌𝚑 𝚂/𝙾
Summary: What do the MHA men think of a partner with a quirk that gives them mental manipulation powers like those of the Scarlet Witch?
Warnings: Swearing, a tiny bit of angst, VERY slight suggestiveness in Dabi’s but nothing major
Characters: Dabi (Touya Todoroki), Twice (Jin Bubaigawara), Hawks (Keigo Takami)
Word Count: 1.4k
Note: Because the request asked for the reader to possess only SOME of the Scarlet Witch’s powers, I decided to focus on giving them the ability to manipulate matter with their mind. This contains the Scarlet Witch’s power of telekinesis as well as the ability to see people’s thoughts, give them visions/alter their memories and perception AND the ability to essentially control the recipient through their mind, just to have a clear establishment of the reader’s powers before beginning the headcanons. I know that’s a lot for one quirk, but it’s what I thought fit best for the description of “Scarlet Witch powers” and TECHNICALLY it could all fit under one quirk along the lines of “mental manipulation”.
♡ Touya Todoroki ♡
- Dabi’s definitely proud of you and your amazing quirk, both as your boyfriend and as your partner-in-crime/colleague
He’s known about you since before the two of you started dating, and he knew he wanted to work with you from the moment he saw you.
- That didn’t mean he necessarily trusted you right away or anything, that came with a lot of time and relationship-building (especially because he new you could manipulate him mentally using your quirk if you wanted to), but he could see right away how powerful and skilled you were, and what an asset you would be to him and the League if you worked together
- And so he brought you to the League, slowly developing feelings over time as you proved just what a valuable asset you were to the League as a whole, and what an amazing partner you’d be to him as he began to trust that you wouldn’t use your power on him for any nefarious reasons
- Once the two of you are together, he’s honestly pretty protective of you
- It’s been a long time since Touya had anything that he was actually afraid of losing, but now that he has you, someone he can truly say he loves, the thought of someone trying to take you away from him is terrifying
- He’s not dumb, he knows that if he saw your potential before ever meeting you in person, other people do too. Heroes and other villains as well most likely, and with threats of heroes trying to lock you up and other villains trying to steal you for themselves, he can’t afford not to be protective
- He knows you can handle yourself, you’re an absolute bad-ass and your quirk makes it nearly impossible to face you head-on and win. But he can’t help but worry, and when he’s gone so many years without feeling that kind of worry, it overwhelms him and he’s compelled to do everything he can to keep you safe
- He’ll agree to train with you when you ask him in order to help you improve your skills with your quirk, but again, Touya’s not stupid. You can literally control his mind, he knows he has no chance of winning against you
- But he’s happy to help you strengthen your skills anyways, and he does give it his all each battle. He’s just accepted from the start that he’ll almost certainly not beat you, so his ego doesn’t get bruised when he inevitably loses
- Plus he finds it really hot when you look at him with the glowing red eyes you have whenever you’re using your quirk, red vapor emitting from your skin as you show off your amazing power. It’s quite distracting, in all honestly, and it’s led him to pull you in for a kiss and suddenly end your training session as you get completely distracted by your needy boyfriend more than once
- He likes to subtly brag to the other members of the League, too. Whenever you capture a hero or complete a mission without so much as a scratch left on you, he’ll mutter a satisfied, slightly protective “That’s my s/o” just loud enough for the others to hear him with the biggest shit-eating grin across his face :)
♡ Jin Bubaigawara ♡
- Jin is genuinely very proud of you and your amazing powers, he thinks you’re amazing all around and he tells everyone he knows about how strong his s/o’s power is
- He’s a very enthusiastic boyfriend, you see, and he loves taking about how amazing you an your power set is to anyone who will listen. (Which is beginning to become a difficult feat, as everyone in the League is beyond sick of hearing him talk about you at this point and he doesn’t really talk to anyone else much)
- He loves the League very much and considers them his family, but you come above even them. He’d rather die than let anything happen to you, and he makes sure you know that any time you go out on a mission together and tells you that his purpose is to protect you while you get the job done with your skills :)
- As your boyfriend, he’s also more than happy to help you improve your powers and grow stronger. He’s down to spar with you whenever you want to train, and he’s more than willing to get his ass kicked battling you if it’s helping you grow in the long run
- He’s never outright made you promise not to do any mind-control or getting into his head/altering his memories or perception, as he just trusts you not to do anything like that to him. Whether you betray that trust or not is up to you, but he never feels the need to have that conversation because as his partner, he trusts you wholly and completely
- He knows that your power requires full concentration, so he tries his best to ensure that whenever you’re training your mental abilities on your own, there are no distractions.
- He himself is pretty easily distracted, though, so unfortunately sometimes things slip through the cracks and someone/something manages to break your concentration and mess up your training
- He would do a lot of convincing to try and get you to join the League, because he thinks that you and your quirk would be an amazing asset to the League and working together would mean he would get to spend even more time with you!
- Jin never really wants to leave you alone, so he loves the idea of getting to spend more time with you, but if you really don’t want to work with the League, then he wont push it
- If you do decide to work with the League, though, he does everything he can to get you and the others to get along and to get them to see how amazing you and your powers are, even though that’s a difficult task considering how some of the League members react to new people lol.
- He’ll find a way, though, and soon you’ll become an absolutely essential member of and powerhouse to the League :)
♡ Keigo Takami ♡
- Keigo first saw you when you found yourself in the top 10 heroes of Japan one year, noticing quickly how you were the only person around his age in the top 10 alongside him
- He had seen you on TV before and knew the basic ideas of what your quirk could do, but when he saw you in person for the first time, he immediately knew that he wanted to get closer to you
- Something about you was just electric to him, drawing him in without even trying (and that wasn’t you using your quirk on him at all, he was just utterly infatuated with you even during your first ever meeting lol)
- The two of you talked a lot that night, Keigo even walking you home once the event was over because he wasn’t ready to stop chatting quite yet
- Despite only knowing the man for a few hours, you felt a connection and decided to confide in him, confessing that sometimes your powers were incredibly difficult to handle as a pro hero
- Having the power to see people’s thoughts, create illusions in their head and completely control them if certain circumstances were met was a very heavy weight to bear, and there were often debates amongst the public (and even in your own head) about how to ethically use your power, and what was too far
- You were careful to only ever use your ability to see into peoples’ minds when you absolutely needed it for a mission, you’d never use it on anyone in your personal life even as a joke. But it was still a heavy burden to bear and a very tricky power to balance in your position, and Keigo was incredibly sympathetic to that struggle
- He’s heard the debates about your powers before, and after that night he becomes one of your biggest defenders as he sees you’d never use your powers for anything other than good
- Especially after you start dating, whenever you’re brought up in interviews or people ask how he’s able to trust you as his partner with a power like that. he defends you and tells them that he’s 100% certain that he and all the other people you love can trust you. He knows for certain that you’re a good person, and wouldn’t abuse your power for personal gain
- When you first started training together his pride is definitely a little wounded by how easily you’re able to beat him when you max out your power lol, making a little pouty face that you have to kiss off his lips as you smirk in victory
- But over time he accepts that he’s no match for you in direct combat, and he takes great pride in how powerful you are, always going on and on about how “My s/o’s an absolute powerhouse, it’s pretty hot. You should see them in action” to his hero friends lol
- He does still like to tease you sometimes about how “spooky” you look when you use your power, though, saying you look like you belong in a comic book with red vapor wafting off of you in waves
- He knows that just because you’re powerful doesn’t mean that you can handle everything on your own, though, so he tries to make sure that you always have help and aren’t being forced to take on difficult missions on your own, and he always makes sure that you have a loving, cuddly boyfriend to come back home to and relax with at the end of all the days filled with difficult villains you have to face :)
Request - Anonymous said: hello!!! how are you? i saw you have your request open so i wanted to ask some hcs of hawks, dabi & twice with a reader that has some of the scarlet witch powers, not all of them bc that will be weird lmao??? if you could that would be amazing but if not that's totally okay!!! <3
A/N: I’m sorry if this request isn’t exactly what you wanted anon, I wasn’t sure which aspects of her powers you would want included in this so I tried to choose a set that would fit together/at least somewhat make sense as a single quirk and also what would be the most interesting to write! Also apologies if Twice’s isn’t the most accurate or if it isn’t as well-written, I did my best but I’ll admit I don’t know a ton about him as a character so I’m not sure how well that section turned out but hopefully it was okay, since I got to get to know his character at least a little better after finally catching up on season 6! ( Also I’ve told you guys before that I primarily write based on requests, and I’m especially inspired by/quicker to finish headcanon requests, so if you have any requests (especially for headcanons) please send them my way and I’ll happily write them for you! :)

Thank you so much to everyone who read the first part of Practice Run, it’s really given me more motivation and support to keep going with this! As promised, here is part two, and here is where I plan for things to really kick off. I hope you guys enjoy it!
Dedicated to the Server of Villains!
Summary: "You had been a part of the league for almost a year now, yet Jin Bubaigawara, also known as Twice, had no idea how to tell you how he felt."
Twice x reader | Twice x fem!reader | Mostly fluff, some angst | Jin Bubaigawara | Toga Himiko | League of Villains
Word Count: ~1.9k
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a couple of hours later that Twice had finally booked a couple of rooms at the motel he found. After some deliberation before the league dispersed, he felt bad to leave Toga out to go fend for herself, so he bought a third room for her. He checked his funds nervously to see how many days they could spend there.
Alright, so…maybe three nights for three rooms should do, but after that, we might have to cut down to two rooms to save money for a couple more days. Maybe Toga and Y/N could share a room together since they’re both girls--
Or maybe me and Y/N can share one if I ask her out?
Twice blushed and pocketed his phone. Then he saw you and Toga both walking towards him from down the street, and he quickly tried to regain his cool. Now that he was on the streets, he was no longer Twice; he was just Jin Bubaigawara, and he didn’t have his villain costume or mask to hide in.
“Jin-kun! Are the rooms ready?” Toga called out.
“Why else would I be standing here?-- Yeah, go on in,” said Jin, and handed her the key.
Toga took the key and left, giggling the whole way. It seemed like she was the happiest to have a place all to herself. Being constantly surrounded by a bunch of serious adults with big plans of world domination could get a bit drab after a while, so she was looking forward to this break.
“It was so kind of you to get her a room!” you praised Jin.
“O-oh, it’s no big deal!” he smiled. “Really! She’s been my best friend for a long time, so I couldn’t let her just get kicked to the side of the street-- Not that I don’t think she’s strong and capable!-- She can totally kick ass!-- But I’m not just gonna leave a friend hangin’.”
“You’re a wonderful friend, Jin,” you told him. You couldn’t believe how much praise you were giving this man in one morning, and you were starting to fear that he would think that you were being weird, but based on his expression, he didn’t seem to mind.
Jin kept his composure through the flattery, to which he was super proud of himself for, and held his hands behind his head. “You’re absolutely right, no one’s as wonderful as me,” he joked as one of his confident personalities took over-- that is until you extended your hand out, which switched him to flustered and confused.
Is she trying to shake my hand? Or hold my hand?! What?
“Could I have the key to my room?” you asked.
“OH! Uh, yeah, definitely, of course!” Jin replied and gladly handed it over. “My bad.”
What the hell was I thinking?
Don’t worry about it, easy mistake!
She probably thinks I’m an idiot.
No way! Look how happy she looks!
“Thank you so much, again!” you said. “I’ll go check out the place right now!”
“No problem-- Yeah, get out of here!”
“Thanks!” You worried that you were thanking him too much, but you really were grateful. You didn’t expect the league to be driven out of their hideout so abruptly, so you didn’t have any plans or preparations for this situation. You felt incredibly lucky; especially since it was Jin who offered you a place to go.
Since everyone was settling in, Jin figured he’d do the same and check out his room. He walked up to the third floor and opened the door to see what he’d be walking into. “Yeah…kinda a dump,” he remembered. There were a few cracks in the drywall, dusty corners, dim lighting, and a couple of stains on the carpet by the bed that he actively chose to ignore. But, there was certainly plenty of space, and outside the window was a perfect, full view of the streets below (although there was an annoyingly loud HVAC right beside it). He tossed a bag of clothes at the foot of his bed and threw himself on top of the sheets.
The beds weren’t too bad, either. Firm, comfortable, and the sheets seemed pretty clean. Jin turned on his side and saw that there was also plenty of more room for a second person, and he grinned at the thought of you lying there.
“Alright,” he said to himself and sat up. If he was going to get you to share a bed with him, he had to ask you out, and in order to do that, he had to properly learn how to romance you. He was finally alone and had the whole place to himself.
This is still okay, right?
Of course it is, we’re doing this for her!
You’re doing this for yourself, dumbass.
But imagine how happy you could make her!
But imagine how creeped out she’d be if she found out about this.
“Shut up, shut up!” Jin snapped at his thoughts. “Just let me have this, okay? It’s not like it’s gonna get weird. I just…I just need to talk to her.”
Riiiiight. Just talk, sure.
“Shut up,” he warned himself, then took a deep breath. He stood up out of bed and outstretched his arms yet again, forming an exact duplicate of you.
“S-so hey, Y/N, do you think you could, um, help me again?”
“Hm?” she seemed confused.
“Wait, shit, a different clone. Yeah, you only have your original’s memories, so you don’t remember last night…” he sighed.
Your clone knew she was a copy of you. All of your clones always did, and they never resented that fact. You have always loved Twice so much, so whether you were a copy or the real deal, either way, you were always willing to be there for him. “Well, whatever it was, I’m sure I’ll be happy to help you again!”
“Alright, so…last night, um. I asked if you could help me practice talking to women?-- You’re so kind and nice!-- Er, and so I thought, hopefully, you’d be okay with that?”
“Of course!” your clone replied. “But why don’t you ask the original me?”
“Well, the other you is probably busy and uhh--” he really couldn’t think of a proper explanation that wouldn’t give it all away. “--is asking that question really important?!”
“Okay, okay, I won’t push it,” she relented and chuckled. She looked around to find a good place to sit. There was a couch by a television, and she politely took a seat there. She patted the space next to her to signal to Jin to come over, which he did.
“Okay, so…ah, I don’t know where to start!”
“Let’s start off easy,” your clone offered. “Let’s say, hmm. Let’s say we’re… on a date. Hypothetically! So you can have some confidence that you already have a good start with this girl.” She felt shy putting herself into a fictional scenario with Jin, but she was willing to do whatever she could to support him.
“Alright, so we’re on a date--” Jin processed. “OR, UH, on a date with a girl, any girl!”
Please tell me I didn’t say that.
You didn’t say that!
You did.
“Um, y-yeah!” your clone replied. She cleared her throat. “Alright, so. You and your date have entered the room and sat down. What do you normally do when you have anyone, like a friend or a neighbor over?”
Jin paused silently, indicating that he had never been in that situation before either. “Hm. When I’m with the league, we usually talk about what places we want to rob or which heroes we hate the most,” he pondered.
“That’s, um…a start. Depending on who you’re dating,” the clone replied with hesitation. She began to think as well about all the things that you and the league have done together. “We’ve watched Shigaraki and Spinner play video games, and we’ve joined them a few times,” she noted.
“Oh yeah,” he realized. “Fuck, do you remember that one time when they got Dabi to play that one fighting game and he was surprisingly good at it?”
“YEAH! And Shaigaraki got so pissed he decayed the TV?”
“I WORKED SO HARD TO STEAL THAT!-- And Kurogiri grounded him right after.”
“Oh my God, he did. You know how he hid the switch from Shigaraki?”
“Yeah!-- No way, how’d he do it?”
“He got Mr. Compress to put it into a marble.”
“That’s where it went?!-- That’s so stupid-- That’s genius!”
Some time had passed, and Jin and your clone talked about the league’s casual shenanigans for almost an hour, laughing their asses off. There was one point where they both were almost crying-laughing; it was a further back memory, something having to do with Shigaraki deleting someone’s save files and the hell that ensued after that. You were both breathless and needed water after that long conversation.
“Now this is how you do a date,” your clone smiled wide before taking a swig from a bottle.
Jin was shocked. The moment was so casual and relaxed, he completely forgot he was practicing for a date. He took a seat by you again and fidgeted with the cap of his water bottle and thought for a second.
“Is everything alright?” the clone asked when she noticed that Jin was quiet.
“Yeah, I’m totally fine!-- I’ve got a lot on my mind…”
“You wanna talk about it?”
Jin looked up at you, then down at the water again. That fluttering feeling was back in his chest, and he felt heat rise throughout his body. He nodded, and tried to meet your eyes again. “So…how do I actually ask someone out? So that…I could have a date just like this one?”
Your clone rested her chin on her hand and considered the question for a little bit. “All I can say is be straightforward and honest with her.”
“...And what if it doesn’t work?”
“Then at least…you know how you both feel. You won’t have to constantly worry about butterflies in your stomach, or going out of your way to impress them. You could finally take it easy and find someone else who really cares about you...” The clone was speaking from your experience, your heart, and in a way, was psyching herself up to try to ask Jin out for you.
“Something I think I’m really struggling with is finding the right words to say…” Jin admitted. “I don’t know where to begin.”
The clone scooched just a little bit closer to Jin. “Well…tell me some of the first words that come to mind, and maybe I can help sort them out?”
The first words that come to mind?
You're hot.
You're so kind and considerate!
I want to hold you.
I want to be held by you.
I’m dying! Save me!!
Let me be here for you.
He was still way too nervous to let any of those words out. “I…I guess-- I still can't do this!” he exclaimed and stood up.
Your clone had an idea what was going to happen next. She didn't want to go, she didn't want this moment to end without any progress between him and you. “Wait, Jin, I--!” She started, but it was too late; the clone melted away.
Jin couldn’t turn around. Guilt and embarrassment immediately invaded him, and he stared forward, at a complete loss.
I need a cigarette.

mmm emergency request
take as long as you need to answer!! or if this is too triggering, no need to answer at all!!
tw for mention of childhood m*lestation
so recently (couple of weeks ago) i found out that my dad’s friend/girlfriend kind of knows the guy who m*lested me as a kid…
she knows everything that happened and knows how difficult it was for me to heal from. now finding out that she knows him— it set me back and i distanced myself from her.
a bit ago she called me, telling me that i should forgive him for what he did to me… and it went into a whole thing and now i’m trying not to cry while writing this lol
but anyways
it set me back really far and all of my progress is gone so i was just hoping for some comfort??
like twice or dabi comforting their gf/s.o. through this and helping them try to heal again.
maybe even twice or dabi getting a bit of revenge on the two people lol /j
sorry if this doesn’t make sense i’m just a bit out of it
- twice & dabi anon
EMERGENCY REQS MASTERLIST
Twice
Twice is initially shocked and angered when he learns about your troubled past and the person responsible for your pain.
He lets out a string of curses directed at the one who caused you harm, showing a protective side that you hadn't seen before.
Immediately, Twice pulls you into a comforting embrace.
"I might be a bit crazy, but I'm crazy about you. We'll get through this together, I'll never let you face it all alone."
After learning more about the person who hurt you, Twice puts together a plan for justice. "Nobody messes with my girl and gets away with it."
He ensures you have the support you need, encouraging you to take good care of yourself and promising to be there for every step of your healing journey.
As you try to hold back tears, Twice pulls a playful expression, "And if you need someone punched, I got a clone for that too. Or ten."
Twice is genuine, realizing that some battles require a team effort, and mental health is no exception.
Later, you discover Jin had discreetly gathered information to ensure the person responsible faced the consequences.
Twice, without a moment's hesitation, serves justice to the person who has caused you harm.
One day, accidentally overhearing him in conversation with Toga, you catch her asking for "the blood of his new friend." The request surprises you, but you eventually shrug it off.
The next day, Twice seeks you out and declares that the case is concluded, justice served.
When you express a desire to learn more, he simply smiles at you, smoothly shifting the topic, leaving the details in the shadows of his actions. "Don't worry, little mousie, Twice did his best to make sure they won't hurt you ever again."
Dabi
Dabi listens silently as you open up about your troubled past. His eyes, however, betray a mix of anger and concern.
"No one should go through that. I'll make sure they pay for what they did to you, princess."
Dabi, in his understated way, offers a warm touch, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. "Don't think about that anymore. Let me take care of everything."
Dabi, true to his straightforward nature, ensures justice is served.
As you express your fear of encountering your past abuser, Dabi assures you, "I won't let them get away with it, don't ya worry your pretty, little head, princess."
Dabi, true to his character, never utters empty promises. Swiftly acquiring information about the person's name and address, he becomes a rare sight within the League of Villains' hideout for the next few days. Unbeknownst to you, he meticulously stalks every move of the individual, methodically transforming their life into a nightmare.
Days pass, and news reports flood the airwaves. Resting your head on Dabi's shoulder while watching the news, you hear of a house engulfed in flames, with a person unable to escape the inferno. The police chalk it up to a gas leak, citing eyewitnesses who observed the flames as an eerie shade of blue.
Your eyes widen, and you glance at Dabi, seeking confirmation. "Dabi..."
He, however, responds by gently placing his index finger to your lips, silencing any questions. "I promised you something, and I'm a man of my word, yeah?"

What are some fluff hcs that you have for any and all of your handsome boys?? How would you spend a day with them? What are dates each of them would take you on?
meadow! Your spoiling me with all these delicious and amazing ideas!!
I’ll actually probably make this in 2 or 3 parts just so I can fit all mah bois :) (if requested, I will also add in some of my favorite gals!)
RED GUY:
Hand holding to the max!!
could be watching the most horrific thing unfold infront of him, and his hand would still be slotted in with yours
making dinner? He’s holding your hand.
watching tv? He’s holding your hand.
sleeping? Yup, he’s holding your hand!
he's a very shameless person when it comes to the softer things in your relationship
will not hesitate to pull you into his lap for cuddles.
also won’t hesitate to cling to you on every part of the day.
your cooking? Well so is he, now.
he loves cooking with you. It’s just so…normal.
normality is not something he experiences a lot, so even when you two are doing simple and mundane things, he enjoys it to the fullest :)
bro's sense of humor is so bad, but it gets to the point where it’s so ungodly terrible, that it becomes funny.
“Hey...what do you call a prisoner walking downstairs?”
“i dunno..What do ya call 'em?”
“..a CONDESCENDING… :D”
he thinks he’s funny, so please laugh :((
dates include him and you cooking a dessert of some sort.
his favorite is making apple cobbler pie with you :3
often you’ll end up with flour hand prints on your ass and some whipped cream on your nose.
he's just a silly guy doing silly things with his ooohh sooo silly partner!!
-----------------------------
JIN BUBAIGAWARA: (what? He dies? No. No he doesn’t. Not here. He lives. That’s the reality we have here. Deal with it. Go argue with the wall idc.)
my sweet sweet baby boy. Where should I start?
okay, before he overcomes his trauma:
Took his mask off infront of you once, and now he can’t stop.
hes addicted to how you kiss his scar
how you coo at him and tell him he’s so handsome 🥺
Will fight for you if it’s serious. He’s still scared he’s a clone :((
will stand up for you tho
anyone says anything bad about you? He’s cursing them out while his alter ego is making weirdly terrifying threats.
”YOU GOT SOMETHING TO SAY, HUH?” “I hope you sleepwalk into oncoming traffic...” “DONT YOU FUCKIN SAY ANYTHING ABOUT MY PARTNER” “I hope everyone you love leaves you.…”
Dates consist of you two sitting on top of rooftops while having a picnic. Talking shit, cuddling, and eating.
you two end up falling asleep in each others arm a lot, admiring the sunset or the moon.
he is a human heating pad. Like seriously. You don’t need a blanket when he’s around
Loves lying on his back with you laying on his chest :)
is a little shy :(
Thinks you don’t want others to know you two are a thing :(((
but when you hold his hand in public or in front of the league? He melts.
When you first kissed his lips over the mask in public? He cried a little
tears of joy :)
can’t cook for shit. That man burns water.
don’t ask me how, but you tasked him to make breakfast one morning, and a fire broke out.
there was also mayonnaise on your ceiling. Again, don’t ask, not even he knows.
--------------
Simon Riley "Ghost" (this motherfucker doesn't die either. if anyone tells me otherwise, meet me at the Arby's parking lot at 6, BECAUSE I WILL FIGHT YOU)
oh my lawdy lawd. he is just SO FINE, WHERE DO I EVEN START??
this man has issues. he's really touch starved, but doesn't know how to accept any light touches.
he might shy away from your light advancements, because he's so used to any physical bringing harm or ill intent towards him.
but when you kiss his cheek, and hug his (slutty) little waist, he folds like a lawn chair on a hot summer day.
will scream, cry, throw up, roll on the ground, and promptly die if you ever serve him tea in a bowl (the French do this.)
likes to go to the gym with you. he loves to see you work out iykwim.
Ghost has never been a man for soft things, but he Isn't Ghost with you. With you, he's Simon Riley, a man who longs to have a sense of normalcy, a man who wants to take you out to nice restaurants, and a man who wants to bend down on one knee for you, and ask that burning question that lays in the back of his mind 24/7
he wants to do all of those things, but its going to take time. his insecurities tell him you deserve a man who can do more for you, but as always, you wash those thoughts away for him.
for now, his dates consist of concealed places, like the safety of either his, or your home, where he can take off his mask, safely. sitting, watching movies, drinking wine or scotch, and cuddling.
He's a big advocate on "actions speak louder than words" so he doesn't say "I love you" too often, but when he does say it? you better get the tissues. because he only says it during a really vulnerable moment of his, like when he's calming down from a PTSD induced flashback, or a panic attack, or when its late, in the middle of the night, when he knows its just him and his demons awake, with you sleeping soundly in his arms.
believe it or not, THIS MAN CAN COOK-
listen, i know he's British, and i know he's in the military, but that man just radiates "I'll make you a five star meal before i snap your neck"
he is a god when it comes to making steak. give him a basic ass steak, some spices, and a few other side ingredients and he'll give you a true taste of heaven. A taste of heaven from a man from hell.
we love him all the same though <3
--------------
holy fucking hell this took WAY too long, and I took some extra time on Ghosts.
as always, any type of constructive criticism is appreciated, no matter how harsh or small it is <3
