I can’t reiterate how insane it is that Anya was able to save Curly. My girl literally defied the odds with the medical equivalent of a fucking tooth pick and theoretical knowledge. Denied from nursing school but she literally kept a man generally stable despite full body burns. Like I can’t stress enough how difficult that is?? Even in a hospital with a ton of staff on hand and all the equipment in the world still very rarely keep a patient alive from full body burns. Trying to google it gives me a 97% mortality rate from 70% coverage from the national library of medicine. Whether or it’s game logic helping her out with not making it entirely realistic when a burn like that in real life would probably be an under 0% chance of survival, it just means that Anya’s skill is that much in canon. Keep in mind Curly also survived for months which means he didn’t go into sepsis or have an infection surrounding the time Anya was alive, and wouldn’t have for a while after (Jimmy sourced wounds are absolutely screwed up). Also the entire crew was likely severely dehydrated because of the alcohol, and on top of it Curly was still well enough to make sounds despite the fact that he’d need water FAR more without any ability to retain it apart from his organs. Not to mention that he didn’t go into shock at all from the events. His own mental fortitude and a bit of game logic can be a little accounted for this in the way he still stayed consciously as Jimmy got to him. But all in all it’s crazy how anyone would say Anya is useless. Fuck you Jimmy, she’s a genius nurse.

"'I would, but we’re kinda under the gun here, no?' The director heard me say this; his eyes widened. 'Yes, yes, yes we are,' they told me... Spader must’ve had eyes behind his head, because he turned to the director and, without hesitation, said: 'Respectfully, we’re going to do this again. And then again. And then maybe another time after that.' 'Dayum,' I thought. The director snapped awake. The crew got into place. Action was called."
