Marvel's tribute to the Golden Age of Comics! And so many jokes! A Dick Tracy photo! Jokes about old comics with less words and sound effects! Plus the retirement scene where Jim Hammond and Namor imply they're going to play with Alan Scott and Jay Garrick (while Archie, Dick Tracy, Charlie Brown and more also live with them at the retirement home). I can't recommend the comic enough. Every line is amazing. (Not Brand Echh #1):

Last line wip tag game
Thanks to @itstheheebiejeebies, @latibvles, @corrosivesaints and @sweaterkittensahoy (implied) for tagging!
My tumblr'ing has been pretty spotty for about a week so I'm still catching up on things but I have been continuing to make progress on Three's Company. And, hey, wouldja look at that? Somehow I've made it to 100 followers! -- something I find pretty amazing, considering I hovered around 20 for the past four years. See what Master of the Air fandom can do for you...er, well, for me, anyway. (ahhhhhhhh!)
So this isn't quite the last line I've written for this inspired-by- @luminouslywriting's-head-canon-so-long-ago-that-maybe-Carly-isn't-even-thinking-about-it-anymore but it's close enough -- and I was pleased with it, so here you go:
Jim had not lasted long in pilot training but he excelled in bombardier training. He loved that deciding where and when to drop his bombs was essentially a mathematical problem — by entering wind direction, airspeed and altitude into the Norden bombsight, and letting the instrument calculate the solution to the problem. The bombsight worked in conjunction with the autopilot, and Blakely had to hand over control of the plane to him so he could make it all work. Their handoffs to one another were, and he thought he was purely objective about it though he knew he was terribly biased, things of beauty. He loved the handoff. Pilot to bombardier, your aircraft, Ev would say. Roger, my aircraft, he would answer back. Handing back control always gave him a bit of a pang, but he trusted Ev's flying skills, so it was never a bad thing. The first time Jim hit a practice target, it felt like pure magic. He knew the other airmen thought the bombardiers were all a little screwy, as protective as they were of their bombsights when they took them out of the planes, and maybe they were, but he didn't care. His Norden was his talisman, his baby, and he was proud of the enormous responsibility he had of taking care of it.
No-pressure tagging for @mercurygray and @basilone who've been there for me since the start, and anybody else who wants to play!
