Damn, after your last few posts with anons, it just became clear to me how much stuff Tae doesn’t know until he finds out in the group chat. And I’m sure it’s not like the other members are hiding it from him specifically (except maybe when JM didn’t ask him to go to Jeju because he thought Tae was too busy with solo promos). I’m sure all 7 have so much going on that it’s hard to keep up with the schedules of each member all the time.

But Tae’s the only one who bothers to show up (or arrange to be included) after finding out about a certain schedule? Whether it’s AYS or Suchwita or a Weverse live? Is it always and exclusively for JK?

I’m not a Tkkr, I promise. I’m very much in the Jikook camp. But I just cannot decide what to make of Tae’s behaviour. I still don’t know if he is a narcissistic attention-seeker and loves to feed the cult or if he is majorly misunderstood and just has intense fomo and JK is his only dongsaeng so he can get away with popping up unannounced.

Every time he went on live for two minutes seemingly just to drop JK’s name makes me think the former.

When he said to Jimin that he was hurt Jimin didn’t tell him about the Jeju trip, it makes me think the latter.

But then when he pops into a random ARMY chat to drop a selfie, it seems like he’s being self-centered again.

I think one would only come to this conclusion if they limit things to chapter two and this is also a sort of cherry picking or tunnel vision because before chapter two, we never ever really saw Tae show up for anything of Jk’s and he did show up for other members like Jhope and Namjoon when they had their solo shoots.

I think in chapter two, Tae was trying to do things differently. During seasons greeting 2022, he said his gift to members was going to try to spend more time with them more because that is something he didn’t really do before. Before the solo era Tae mostly spent his off time with his friends outside of work and his wooga members so I guess he wanted to do things differently in chapter two and that is why we saw him actually taking the initiative to spend time with members. He invited Jk to hang out with his friends, also invited Hobi to hang out with his friends, went to support Yoongi during his concert, made time to hang out with Jimin and invited him to his fanmeet and also joined Jimin in his video for CTT. I think he also visited Namjoon or something because he posted some shoes that were Namjoon’s or something so in my opinion, Tae was making a concious decision to actually spend time with his members which is something he didn’t do before.

Yea maybe he seemed a little more focused on Jk maybe by chance or design but it clearly doesn’t mean anything more than that he loves and wanted to support his friend because if they were together, he wouldn’t constantly have to find out about Jk’s schedules from the groupchat would he?

To be honest with you I can’t say I know either but I don’t think he ever had any alterior motives. Maybe it was just something as simple as him wanting to spend time with Jk or maybe he is just misunderstood. I also think that some of his actions when it came to Jk were intentional but not because he was trying to feed the cult but maybe because he wanted to show that he and Jk were in a much better place. I think Tae cares about how fans perceive his relationship with the members and how fans see him as a person. I mean he admitted to going into a fan group chat, pretending to be a fan and saying bad things about himself to see what the fans would say. He also spends a lot of time within fan spaces as over the years, he has posted memes, pictures and fanarts that he could have only seen by being neck deep in fan spaces so I think it is clear that he is very aware of the things fans say so maybe he wanted fans to know that him and Jk were in a much better place after their talk on ITS. I could be wrong about this but that is how I interpreted some of his actions.

Also if you know Tae, you know that he has moments when he tends to fixate on particular members. There was a time when his fixation was Jimin. He would go on fancafe and talk about Jimin alot, make posts that could be viewed as romantic about Jimin and then immediately delete them, his weverse is packed with pictures and videos of Jimin, he responded to fans who were asking about Jimin etc. What he was doing with Jungkook in the solo era wasn’t new tbh because anyone who has been in the fandom long enough and paid attention to Vmin, knows that Tae used to go crazy lol.

He is an enigma and could be very difficult to read sometimes but I don’t think there is ever any malice behind his actions.

Tkk: He's so supportive of his friends. 'Jimin supporting Jk in NY & Jk's BB #1.' Tkk: What about Tae? Of course Jk's doing fanservice.

'Tk make a TikTok together.' Tkk: Look at our babies showing off they're in love. 'Jk makes a tiktok with Mingyu.' Tkk: Don't watch it's for clout, he's disrespectful to Tae. 'Tae out everywhere with Friends without Jk all chapter 2' Tkk: We support this freedom & love his friends. 'Jk out with 97 line, Jimin, friends, family without Tae' Tkk: Where is Tae? All Jk's friends are trash.

'Jk watched Jimin content & supports him' Tkk: Fanservice whore pushing others, while Tae suffers. 'Tae posts about Lisa, members, Wooga. Tkk: He's so supportive of literally everyone.

Call anyone who quoted what Jimin himself said as 'idiot' or 'kid'. Act mature while writing essays desperatly trying to connect a het song to a man. Say you don't care about their relationship to be seen cool while getting bitchy to anyone who point out your ship isn't real.

I recently got sentimental and started watching videos from BTS concerts, and then I came across a fanmeeting from the Persona era. Jm was asked what makes him happy lately, and Jk immediately replied: it's me, of course, I make you happy. I don't know what exactly happened at that time, but I feel like 2019 was a turning point in their relationship, many people call this period their honeymoon.

I thought 2015 was the crush era and 2018 (post Tokyo) was the honeymoon era? But I don't know the timeline very well. There was definitely something special about 2019 Jikook (thinking of a particular live), but it didn't feel as honeymoon as it did established? Like their relationship was more stable and they were more open about it? Their behavior then was very similar to the PTD concerts.

Also, JK said that he made Jimin 2020(1?) too. He's so consistent!

I often watch old concert performances, but I should rewatch old Bangtan Bombs, episodes, Festas, etc., with new eyes!

I keep thinking about For Us. A song he sang in front of moon with Jimin there and then he walks the moon after the performance. He was asking someone to come back to him before he leaves for MS.

He wanted to get things off his chest to Jimin before they enlist. He is telling Jimin they can hide away and he is okay with that, something Jimin probably wants. Tae is a very open person in every aspect even with friends, Jimin is not. So Tae not doing a public send off for Jimin, not enlisting with Jimin. This is their hiding away that Tae promised. This song would not pertain to JK, cause TK were hanging out all the time. There was no distance. It was Vmin hit with divorce allegations. Its about Jimin.

As for Jikook enlisting. I won't make excuses, cause if this was Vmin, I would say its cause they want to be together and not separated as well. Even going in as a couple, Vmin would and could hide it, cause they are professionals. That said, its just hard for me to think about Jikook, ONLY cause of Sweet Night and the best friend lyric. Its what convinced me Vmin are the real thing and I don't think its changed. Although I could be wrong about that too and its just a song.

You are right about this. It certainly adds up. Most of his song lyrics hints at Jimin being his muse. Even in his videos, Jimin is everywhere. Anyway, we aren't concerning ourselves with that at the moment.

Now, Taehyung has no problem saying his mind or doing the things he wants to do. Jimin is the opposite. He is more reserved about the people he knows or are close with, no matter how popular he is. Most people might not know but he's close friends with the actor, Kim sae on from the popular bl series Light on me. The two have been spotted on public outings. They even went on a trip to Jeju island back in 2021. But you won't see Jimin pronouncing their relationship for all to see because he's just not that kind of person. There are things he keeps private and things he keeps public. Take for instance like how Taehyung and Jimin went to see Jungkook recently. Taehyung had switched on the vlive to show him pranking Jk. However Jimin stopped him and even switched off the live himself because he thinks differently. He probably didn't want their raw unscripted moments publicised. I believe his friends and those close to him adjusted to his preference knowing his personality. If you've noticed, they are all relatively calm concerning his enlistment.

Now, it would be exciting as a shipper to think how nice it would be if Taehyung and Jimin had gone to the military together. They would hide it just as they have always done. However, I work with reality. If you have been in a relationship, you'll know how impossible that can be. Even though you try to hide it, your real feelings will always surface. There are no cameras, what they have is CCTV. There are no cropping off or editing of their moments. There is literally no place to hide, there's no home to isolate yourself in.

As for me, Taehyung's fanmeet had all the elements of a good farewell. He literally made Jimin the center of attention that day even though it that wasn't what Jimin had anticipated. He had everyone wish Jimin happy birthday and was all smiles throughout. Anyone with eyes could have easily noticed that was the happiest they had ever seen Taehyung in a long time.

It's always nice if things go our way but there's something real about them which is why it won't. Thank you.

I hate when people bring up Tae's "remarks" because it's almost always Jikookers/Tae antis who do so. I think there's a good chance things get lost in translation and what we're interpreting is something different than what they're actually saying. And for the fanmeeting one, I've always heard that it was made up by antis and that he never actually said that. Not saying that the members have never said anything problematic, and they were obviously young at the time, but I immediately side eye anyone who uses those as serious examples. Especially because I see it often from Jimin solos/Jikookers, but Jimin has also made questionable remarks towards Hobi if we apply the same logic? He said that Hobi likes men too much and also told him that "guys don't kiss." Again, this was from when they were younger and I don't fault him for saying it (I don't think Jimin's homophobic). But why is Tae constantly painted as this homophobic villain who outed his own friend? If you rewatch their older content you can find plenty of questionable remarks from all the members, but for some reason people hyperfocus on Tae. Again, not saying Tae has never made any problematic comments himself, but the focus I see on Tae and not other members just seems very odd.

Agreed. The consistent NONSENSICAL portrayal of Tae as a bad guy when nothing supports it and yet there's apparently no agenda? Whether it's company agenda or fan agenda, there's a fckn agenda, my friends.

Even if he did say half these things, can you imagine being judged on the things you said when you were a teen? We're all kind of confused and say dumb stuff at that age because we're SO confused by who we are, how we stack up, where we fit.

Benefit of the doubt, because he's earned it, he was just being a dumbass. They've all had their moments.

Watching both big shipper sides sit stonefaced cause of Vmin is cracking me up. Jikookers won't even acknowledge it, cause of how much JK has begged Jimin for time & to hang out only to be turned down publicly over and over or hit with excuses or and I'm not that easy, for Jimin to immediately tell Tae to call him when Tae asked Jimin to play with him (? okay) after they just spent the whole day together and night drinking, followed up with texting before bed and Tae ended that live quick too and got on the phone with Jimin right away and Jimin let us know. LMAO OUCH. And Taekookers crying saying, well if JK wasn't forced out of town by Hybe, it would be him with Tae at Music Bank and his fan meet, not Jimin.

Meanwhile and this is gonna sound controversial, but Tae's fanmeet with Jimin, I haven't seen Tae this happy, bubbly & giddy with anyone, since he left for Paris to go be with Jennie before their hand holding, yes we together, walk of love. I haven't seen it with JK, nor have I seen it with Wooga. Funny its been with Jimin and Jennie. Very inchresting.

Lots of speculation here that I don’t really agree with, other than I’m enjoying this Vmin era to its fullest.

I think shippers just need to get used to the fact that this waxing and waning moments between the members—or at least what we can perceive—is going to be more of an occurrence.

Today perfectly illustrated why I try not to jump to any conclusions regarding Jikook these days: I was part of those who thought something had happened between Vmin and that they weren’t in good terms. And let’s be honest many of us did think there was something going on, hence all the "Vmin divorced" jokes, even if they were just jokes. But Taehyung inviting Jimin to his fanmeeting today, the way they interacted, it was really cute and it seems that they’re fine after all. Maybe they did go through a rough patch in their friendship at some point or maybe they didn’t and they were just both very busy and focused on their own thing and we all interpreted it at some coldness and distance? I feel like we’ll get more clues about Jikook further down the line, let’s wait and see 🧐

I support this wholeheartedly , but let's not forget that Vmin didn't have almost any (public) interactions at the beginning of this year. Most of their moments have happened recently, the same with Jikook. JM and Tae may very well have some sort of disagreement in the first months of 2023, which is now resolved. It's also possible that they were simply busy, as you said, and didn't feel like posting.

We really know too little when it comes to the private lives of the boys (which is perfectly fine!), so any "conclusion" is just another (educated or not) guess.

Not random person 12345805859 picking up Jikook's couple vibes after seeing them for 5 seconds together. Its always Jikook. Like for a random person to assume Jk was with his 'girlfriend' and not some random female staff or female assistant, but a girlfriend specifically makes me wonder what she witnessed to get that aura from them. I mean its clear to anyone who sees them, but were they being extra clingy and cuddly? We did see both of them being clingy to each other at the airports and getting in each other's personal space and clinging to each other when walking through the crowd. So maybe she definitely picked up on that energy.

And someone had the audacity to say why don't we view Jimin's interactions with Tae as romantic when he was hugging Tae during their visit for his dancing or at Tae's fanmeet, but only view Jikook's as romantic. Cause the vibe is different. DUH. Like I love me some Vmin, but when Tae showed up to see Jimin to his thisisjimin is actually a perfect example. Jimin saw him, walked over to him, tapped his behind and let him join. He was very calm. When Jk showed up to his production diary live and snuck in and Jimin spotted him, talk about an aura change. He was beaming and blushing so hard and shouting his name and even went in for a tiddy squeeze and things took an awkward 'I forgot I got a crush on you, you got to go, or I'm gonna get shy' turn. Followed by jimin still beaming and giggling and saying that was nice after Jk left. Just like his bday live when Jk showed up or the vegas live when Jk showed up and Jimin melted. Jimin can't contain it, even though he is the one who tries his best to play it nonchalant. This is why I still find it funny out of all the times with members showing up to support each other during hiatus, when we get Jk at Jimin's set me free rehearsal's, he is already there sitting down. No initial reaction when Jk first shows up. Editors were probably like yeah, this is too obvious. CUT. I also kinda don't think they would have even showed it had Jimin not brought it up on camera to Jk during his live. Which is why I'm almost certain their show is gonna be heavily edited, esp now that they are serving together. They are gonna really play up the broness up. lol

Will never fault anyone who mistakes Jimin for a woman. Never. Especially next to Jungkook
