i did. he just said something abt how jidion should be unbanned bc he and poki resolved stuff in private.

if you don’t know what happened with jidion i might not be the best person to ask bc i don’t know the full situation but the gist of it is a few months ago jidion raided pokimane and had his fans spam misogynistic comments in her chat i believe? and then when he got banned his fans (and briefly him) said a lot of rude shit abt her appearance on twitter and spread that photo of her without makeup with cruel remarks about how she looked. i’m pretty sure that harassment from his fans went on long after he stopped doing it himself. i didn’t really keep up with it beyond the initial thing so i honestly had no idea that they resolved it privately, but i guess they did. there was some drama with tommy too during twitchcon amsterdam but honestly that seemed like more of a miscommunication than anything and they also resolved that.

honestly my two cents is i don’t know much about the guy but i am someone that hates the general concept of prank youtubers in general (and i always have). unless the people that you’re pranking have expressly said they’re okay with it i don’t think that they should be used for content and i do think it can easily dip into harassment when you’re messing with strangers. but that’s a blanket statement on prank youtubers i really don’t know much about his content beyond the drama that he’s been in.

i’ve gotten a LOT of anons asking abt this so. lets talk about ninja and poki. it’s long! 

first of all: here’s her vod. 

poki revealed on stream today that ninja acted extremely disrespectfully towards her in the aftermath of jidion’s harassment. he offered to help jidion avoid a ban by texting his twitch representative after it was made abundantly clear by jidion and his viewers that what had occurred was a hate raid (ninja said “you can’t go around raiding bitches on twitch” in response). they were joking around on stream and became twitter mutuals, ninja even retweeted him that day. poki mentioned on stream that she found ninja’s behavior odd, but didn’t go into detail. 

his wife/manager, jessica, then dmed poki. she told her that ninja never called poki a bitch, that ninja dmed jidion and told him the hate raid wasn’t ok, and that ninja never said he would try to help jidion evade the ban. jessica sent poki screenshots of ninja supposedly telling jidion off but it was almost entirely them complimenting each other and ninja giving jidion advice on how to avoid getting banned in the future. NOT telling he shouldn’t hate-raid women because it was sexist harassment -- he was helping him not get caught the next time. after jidion blamed poki for his ban, ninja said that “even though it was just Ls and ratios it was still considered a ‘hate raid,’” and that the rules were unfortunate and he believed jidion didnt have bad intentions. jessica said she wanted poki to know “the whole story” and not how people tried to “twist it” on the internet. many of the things jessica said were demonstrably false. ninja deleted the vod of him and jidion talking so poki could not find clips as evidence. 

poki replied, reiterating why she was upset with ninja, refuting some of the false claims made by jessica, and explaining how his and jidion’s behavior impacted her. she sent the only proof available since the vod was deleted, which was reddit comments about ninja’s stream, specifically him offering to help him ban evade. jessica again claimed she was telling poki “the facts” despite literal evidence to the contrary and an extremely thorough explanation of the events from poki, and stated very clearly that they were not apologizing because they did nothing wrong. she then went on to say that poki was doing the exact same thing to ninja that jidion did to poki. i know this is something of a buzzword these days, but ninja’s wife and manager (acting in cooperation with ninja) trying to gaslight poki into thinking she was fabricating events and overreacting is beyond gross. 

jessica claimed she and ninja were both ignorant of any actions jidion took beyond the “L + ratio” spam and that ninja had “publicly renounced” him that day on stream. poki had just finished telling jessica, in detail, everything jidion had done. in addition to that, ninja and jidion had been interacting on twitter while jidion’s profile photo was literally a picture of poki without makeup. in terms of ninja “denouncing” him, the only statement ninja made was this (i’m picking out what i see as the important parts, but it starts around 55:07 in the vod): “the jidion thing was kind of gnarly [...] i love his energy, he’s clearly an entertainer, he was born to do it, but i had a talk with him last night [...] you can’t send your community into other people’s chat, even if it’s just L + ratio. it was against TOS [...] with great power comes great responsibility [...] i am still down to play with him, i have to wait ‘til he’s unbanned. the guy’s a massive troll, so he wasn’t saying ‘go hate’ [...] he got banned for two weeks, i think it was his first incident too [...].” 

poki rightfully replied to jessica saying that this was not denouncement, that ninja was still supporting jidion. as soon as jessica got that response, ninja deleted that vod as well -- thankfully poki had anticipated that and recorded it. poki spent the entire evening trying to find evidence from the original vod to find the clip of ninja and jidion interacting, and after a lot of searching (again, ninja and jessica had been extremely careful to erase all signs of that vod) she found it and sent the relevant clips to jessica as proof. poki’s original summary of the clips were accurate so i won’t repeat it here, but it starts around 1:01:42 in her vod. the most important part is that he texts his twitch representative on stream and narrates himself doing so. he says “i sent the text.” jessica again insists that she and ninja don’t know about anything poki experienced besides the L + ratio spam, but this had been a trending and widely-discussed topic that poki was talking to jessica about for four days. and she AGAIN says ninja didn’t text his twitch representative even though he was recorded doing so. poki corrected her (for like the third time) about jessica’s obvious lies, said ninja’s actions were aggravating the harassment she faced, and explained that they couldn’t plead ignorance after four entire days of discussion. jessica then completely stopped responding. 

WHILE POKI WAS LIVE TODAY TELLING THIS STORY, ninja dmed her. it was around 1:27:33 in her vod. most people have seen this, but he sent three messages saying this: “Hey, so I just want you to know. I swear on my grandfather’s life, who just passed away, that I didn’t text my twitch rep. And you are making a big mistake.” at this point now both ninja and his wife have lied to and harassed poki in her dms. she points out that even if he was for some reason pretending to text his twitch rep, the fact that he did so on-stream without indicating that it was fake means he was still sending a message of support to jidion and his actions. ninja replied that “he will be clarifying everything.” 

basically: ninja offered support and friendship to jidion despite being explicitly told and witnessing for himself that he had harassed poki. jessica (on behalf of ninja) repeatedly lied to poki about her own experience and harassment and said she was acting just as disrespectfully as jidion, and refused to apologize. they made efforts to erase all possible evidence by deleting vods, clips, and youtube reuploads. ninja continued to make favorable statements towards jidion that minimized poki’s experience as “trolling.” ninja then dmed her while she was live and threatened her. 

this isn’t ninja making a stupid or uneducated comment on stream, or misunderstanding a situation. this is repeated and targeted gaslighting and harassment of pokimane and the open support of a streamer who has proven himself to be misogynistic. i’m not trigger-happy when it comes to “cancelling” or deplatforming but all of this was clearly undertaken with malicious intent and can’t fly under the radar.

I usually don’t comment on Twitch-related stuff, especially since I’m not a regular Twitch viewer, but this Pokimane-Jidion situation is so baffling to me. First off, Pokimane’s in the right since she was just minding her business. Second, I just don’t understand this mentality that in order to generate content, you order your fans to harass some random person.

And yeah, I know that Pokimane’s not necessarily a random person since she’s one of the faces of Twitch. But still, this guy didn’t know her personally and his first thought was to harass her, unprovoked. I don’t like to judge people, but the fact that this guy thought he was just doing a funny prank feels...evil. There’s something wrong with your sense of humor if you think harassment is normal humor.

Jidion is a sexist ass who was looking for conflict by showing up to an event for a platform he is banned on. Twitch could have been dicks and suspend streamers for being filmed with him at a Twitch event and he knew that. He went there looking for drama.

Those Tommy fans that went on twitter and cried about him harassing them and being there owe Tommy an apology for 1) feeding into exactly what Jidion wanted and giving him enough drama to put Tommy in a thumbnail and 2) completely overblowing the situation just because they were getting attention from twitter.

not to put you on the spot but how do you feel about the whole jidon tommy incident where his fans were clearly being racist towards him and without video proof would’ve been canceled again for false claims all cause they didn’t “like his energy”. the only thing i can take from this is to NEVER go to a dsmp meet and greet because i would not be welcomed. imagine the shit they would’ve said to him if the camera wasn’t there 😭

so full transparency, i did not watch the full 30 minute video but i have watched the entire section jidion posted (including him talking about it) multiple times, and here's what i gathered. i think the fans saying that jidion was "harassing" them was inaccurate because to me that implies something being targeted. he wasn't yelling at anyone or saying mean things to them, he was just causing a commotion. however, i don't think he's necessarily cleared his name because he was still being quite rude and disrupting people's experiences at the meet and greet. i could see how someone could consider that harassment, and i think tommy was justified in calling him out for making people have a shitty time (i agreed with jidion's take on tommy's response and i'm glad he was able to be mature about it). i mean how would you feel if you're trying to meet your favorite creator and a guy is screaming his head off and calling them hot?

also, ive seen a lot of people call the fans racist for what they did and implying they would have said much worse stuff had there not been cameras, but i'm genuinely confused as to where the racism is. as far as i'm aware the only thing related to race that happened was jidion pointing out he was the only black person there, to which someone responded that they were mixed. i don't think the people saying they didn't like his energy was racially motivated, to me it seemed like they were pissed cause he was being rude. also i don't think they made any false claims. they said he harassed them, which in a certain light could be true especially if they were the ones he kept pestering about pokimane, they said he was yelling and being disruptive, which he was, and they said he was making weird comments, which he was as he literally called tommy "hot" seconds after the person said that

so i guess my take on the situation is, while i don't think jidion should have been demonized for targeted harassment of fans like people made it seem, i don't think he's off the hook either cause the dude was being an asshole. when people said he was harassing fans, the clips are pretty much what i imagined to have happened, so i'm struggling to understand how he's exonerated here

Jidion is also the person who sent his chat to pokimane's to call her a slut and other misognistic things as a 'troll' and then when people got mad and he got permanently banned from twitch he claimed it was in retaliation to her saying the n word. They then 'made up' by getting a burger together but I think it was mostly so poki got his stans out of her twitter replies/her chat. This was the whole thing ninja got cancelled for last year because he sort of took his side without properly looking into the situation.

He's also the dude who was on a podcast and a female influencer said she wouldn't sleep with him if he was the last man in the world and he got really aggressive and started to say things like 'well if I'm the last dude who would be there to stop me?!'.

So all round not a great guy.

So apparently there's a situation going on where Twitchcon Security did nothing while Jidion (That one streamer who apparently was harassing Pokimane a while back??) was going through the Tommy meet 'n greet and causing a scene, prompting tweets like this to pop up. Not many people recorded it, but a lot of people were vaguely tweeting about it because no one did anything after being told during the meet 'n greet.

Now I know the guy who got into shit for harassing people on Twitch did not just come to this event to harass even more people before being kicked out at the very end? Even meeting up with the person you harassed beforehand and having a good time. What is that 💀

I mean what were you expecting. Someone sexually harassed (grabbed his ass I believe) Tommy at vidcon and no one did anything about it. Event security is there to keep the event moving. Streamers should be getting their own security for their protection

He said that the jidion situation made his mental health pretty bad tho its solved off cam now but i imagine he was too stressed to do lore ontop of that stress the pressure of lore gets to him as well cuz expectations and such, he said that he thought talking about the stress would help him feel better but it didnt

ohhhh i see thank u guys. but also im a bit confused on where this expectations of lore streams thing is coming from for this wilbur stream particularly 😭 bc i know he mentioned it in the tribute video, but it was worded like he had partially gotten over that and at the very least he HAS done lore since then. both very heavy and scripted lore (ccrime exile + dream confrontation stream) and more lh lore (cclingy detective stream with jack). i feel like im missing something again

I hope ninja’s career gets destroyed but if there’s two things that dont stop a popular white dudes from losing their careers it’s being racist and being sexist

yeah i dont think "destroyed" is realistic bc i would guess that the bulk of his viewers are teenage boys who dont really care about misogyny. i think, however, that this could alienate him from a lot of the other mainstream twitch crowd? like the big names right now (for english-speaking channels at least) are the crafters and the variety streamers, mostly those in or friends with otv/100t/otk. obviously ninja is filthy rich and pulls viewers, i'm not saying he's a flop but in terms of community.... i've never seen ninja in a lobby or at an irl event with the other big names. the most relevant he's been to my twitch/gaming experience is when tommy uses him for clickbait and i watch quite a few variety streamers. what i mean to say with all of that is -- can you think of anyone super significant who would side with ninja at the risk of alienating poki? even from purely a clout perspective, poki is way more important to be on good terms with. from an interpersonal perspective, she has tons of friends across the community throughout multiple orgs and content styles who are MUCH closer to her than ninja.

the twitch user base is rapidly diversifying in gender (among other things) because of the audience being brought in by the minecrafters and a good chunk of the variety streamers. i don't think ninja is going to drop off the face of the earth, but i don't think it's unrealistic to see people who were friends with him diplomatically or for content leave him behind because 1. poki is much more well-liked and respected on a personal level and 2. more people are willing to call out misogyny, both ccs and their viewers.

I can’t believe that after the Pokimane-Jidion feud that occurred last month, the one who came out with the L was Ninja and his wife. Jidion got a redemption arc and Ninja, who had nothing to do with the feud in the beginning, became the real villain. 

All Ninja had to do was not do anything, especially since Pokimane and Jidion squashed their beef on their own. This was a self-inflicted L.

The Jidion and Tommy situation surprisingly doesn't get outta hand, I expect much more beef going on tbh but if it wasnt for Keemstar it prob won't be a massive deal outside of innittwt

i think the reason it hasn't gotten out of hand is cause it's mainly fan beef and the creators are relatively mature and respect each other's responses

About the situation with Tommy, Jidion, and Keemstar:

Jidion is a grown ass adult man whose entire channel is about going out in public, deliberately provoking other people, and blaming them for being upset when he intentionally caused it. He can never ever do anything wrong, everything is clearly always the other persons fault! He thinks that being an asshole to other people for no reason is funny and his content is directed at people who think this way too. Most people mature out of this by the time they're sixteen unless they were raised in a barn. While he was interacting with Tommy he was also breaking the rules of Twitchcon by cutting the line, shouting over others, and refusing to leave when told.

I think the only people taking his side are either biased against Tommy already or too immature to recognize that being a jackass for the sake of being a jackass doesn't make you cool or funny, it makes you a jackass.
