The Saga of Jensen the Bratty Sub (JIBCON 2013) never thought i'd be posting D/s content on main but then i saw Misha patting Jensen's head and went feral. RPShipping warning. the annoying in-post text is because i can't (don't want to) put text on the gifs.

Jensen and Misha bring a kid up on stage who's too shy to talk to them. Misha tells the kid's relative (or the translator) No, you can't speak for him, as Jensen hands her the mic. Misha to Jensen: Don't undermine my authority like that. They proceed to play-bicker like a married couple. Jensen to Misha: We're not gonna do this right now. There's a child in our presence. There are people watching.

(1) Misha: Do not do that again. Jensen tucks his hands behind his back and looks chastised. (His face says Did I push too far?)

(2) Jensen to Misha: Listen, I grew up in Texas and I probably haven't spent as much time on a horse as I should have but I guarantee that I've spent more time on a horse than you have.

Misha (with one eyebrow raised): Oh yeah?

Jensen: no... no (His face says Did I push too far this time?)

(3) While everyone is hyping up/hailing Jensen like a god, Misha is patting his head because Jensen is his good boy. :)

No but listen to this. This is 2013 and there is no confession involved but this is how Jensen sees their relationship from the very beginning. That its a supernatural relationship and Castiel is an angel and that Dean doesn't understand his feelings and emotions because it's not the same as humans. So Dean doesn't know his impact in Cas' life. He also said it a few years after this, that Dean doesn't know if Cas can feel human emotions. And that's exactly what he said at DenCon. The question was When did Dean know.. And like always, his answer was Dean didn't know (until the confession). That's just how he feels about it and its as valid as your opinion. He wasn't being homophobic. So leave him alone. :)

So now I’m going back and watching the Jibcon 2013 Cockles panel and it really is just 60 minutes of them flirting with each other. Swinging back and forth between heart-eyes and pigtail-pulling.

I’m just….. I’m pretty sure this was the best. Cockles panel. Of all time.

Dean 'flirting' with Aaron was debunked by Mr Ackles himself when a heller said how it proved bi Dean or something to him at a con, and I'm pretty sure he emphasized the words ' heterosexual' to describe Dean in that scene lmao

[ten mins of shenanigans] On a serious note, I don’t think he has any idea because Castiel is not of the human world. And Dean is. Therefore the relation of feelings and understanding would be completely...would be different. Supernatural 7x17 “The Born-Again Identity” - changes in the scene where Dean returns Cas his trenchcoat

3) that bit with Dean saying "Part of me always hoped [?] that you would come back." that was used in the promotional material, but not in the aired episode:

EXT. HOSPITAL – NIGHT CASTIEL is walking away from the hospital, with DEAN close behind him. DEAN: If you remember, then you know you did the best you could at the time. CASTIEL: Don't defend me. Do you have any idea the death toll in Heaven? On Earth? CASTIEL stops and turns to face DEAN. CASTIEL: We didn't part friends, Dean. DEAN: So what? CASTIEL: I deserved to die. Now, I can't possibly fix it... So why did I even walk out of that river? DEAN: Maybe to fix it. Wait. DEAN opens the trunk of the car and takes out CASTIEL’s trenchcoat. He holds it out to CASTIEL.

5) Jensen talking about this scene during JIB3 2012:

Jensen: We couldn’t get past- there was a certain line that we just- we couldn’t say. It was, it was so- out of character and- horrible- Misha: No, I mean, there was something, there was something- no, I think that they ended cutting that out, but you said something like, I guess I maybe always thought that you were gonna come back, or something, or something like that.

Jensen: Yeah, but there was- Misha: There was stuff that was written in that scene that was really tough to say.

Jensen: When you say it out loud, it’s like, Wow, I would never say that to another human being, especially a man. Misha: Yeah, the line as it was written, I don’t know it exactly verbatim, but the paragraph that you had to say was something like -

Jensen: Yeah, it- Misha: It was something like, I’ve been cuddling up with this every night so that I could smell you. I mean, it was really-

Jensen: Essentially, like, the dialogue would have gone perfectly along with me doing this: (mimics holding the jacket to his chest like a kitten and petting it). And Bob Singer, who was directing the episode, was, like, we had him in tears when we simply just said, Bob, allow us to read this scene aloud to you, and you tell us what you think. And we simply just read the lines, and he just folded and started laughing hysterically. And then we proceeded to spend like the next hour and a half trying to figure out- Misha: That was tough, to make that scene.

Jensen: Yeah, we really did. The three of us tried to put our minds together on set trying to help it, how- how can we change this around to make it- to make it more believable between these two characters, and I don’t even remember what it ended up being.

6) Jensen talking about this scene during Vegascon 2013:

Jensen: -a reconciliation scene betoon- between- between two men, don’t take it from a scene between a man and a woman, because it just doesn’t work very well. (looks at Jared and shakes his head)

Jared: Yeah, that’s true. Jensen: (in a soft voice) I saved this for you. (presents an imaginary coat) (audience laughs) (still in a soft voice) For me? (gestures towards himself) (more audience laughter)

Jared: I had it dry-cleaned. Jensen: (still holding the imaginary coat and speaking softly) I couldn’t bear to part with it. It would have been like parting with you. (drops his hands) It sounded a little something like that when it was written, I- I swear, I kid you not. And then Bob Singer, and Misha, and I literally sat there on the top- on the hood of the Impala and rewrote the scene, and it was what it was. So, great, there’s a little insider.
