don't mind me, i'm just having some dirty thoughts about jiang cheng
Tumblr media
Thinking about grumpy Jiang Cheng. He usually keeps his tone and mood in check when it comes to you ── after quickly learning that your patience was short when it came to his bad temper ── and after getting his ass hit so many times that just looking at your hand made him remember the pain. But there are times when he wakes up on the wrong side, those days when his patience is shorter than usual, more and more problems pile up for him to solve and nothing is on his side. So even when you tell him to get some rest and eat something you brought him, he explodes, tired of so many demands and so many requests, even if it was a genuine one, and takes out all accumulated frustrations on you. Bad luck for him that you're not one of his underlings who fears his wrath. Instead of backing off or apologizing you pull him into your lap, regardless of who might hear or see, ignoring his flushed cheeks and the bite in his voice ("let go of me, now!") and reminds him again of what he forgot ── brats don't get rewards, only punishments. Beat him until he stops arguing with you and demanding you stop. Beat him until his ass is red. Beat him until jiang cheng loses control of his voice and starts screaming and begging, so loud you fear he'll have a sore throat the next day. So when he's exhausted, sore, and with a hard cock you won't pay attention to, put him to sleep and solve all the problems that bothered your clan leader, hoping he wakes up in a better mood.

Note
i know you love jiang cheng so can i ask for him being forced to masturbate for the reader? I can't get rid of the image of him blushing and cursing, wanting to go against your order but knowing you won't touch him until he obeys. whether he gets the reward of being able to cum or not is up to you ♡
ෆ    ִ      ׁ   sub jiang cheng
cw; dom reader, sub character, gender neutral, forced masturbation, needy boy, reader kinda mean, shy but moody, jiang cheng
"i really hate you (name)" spat jiang cheng as he clutched his crotch, trying unsuccessfully to hide his wetness and hardness.
cute cute jiang, slightly flushed on his cheeks and what was more adorable was to see his ears red from the embarrassment of the situation.
"mmm, of course you don't hate me honey, just look at you." you walked up to him and gently took him by his chin. his eyes sparkled for a second when he thought you were going to kiss him. but you just smiled sideways and walked away.
leaving behind a very angry and needy jiang cheng, with his lips half open and wet and a more prominent scowl than before.
"you fucking idiot, you don't know how much I want to…" the black-haired man kept cursing you while you looked at him with desire, more and more.
you sighed and raised one of your eyebrows biting your lips. "shut your mouth, honey and let me see how much you want me." you sat up spreading your legs and patting your thighs. "if you're nice, maybe I'll let you ride here." you said teasingly.
jiang opened his mouth between indignant but damn tempted, you knew he was hard and thirsty for you. and you also knew how much he hated it when you ordered him around.
you lifted your shoulders nonchalantly and settled in ready for the show.
"get your hands off me, let me see."
reluctantly you did so, cursing what a pervert you are. "you're a freeloader."
as you watched the way his cock rose above his robes you could tell how fucking hard it was. so you wanted to play with his patience a little.
"rub your hands over your cock…- do it slow love, without cumming."
the man didn't love the way you commanded him but you did see the relief in his eyebrows as he touched his throbbing erection. using both his hands and the friction of the cloth to pleasure himself.
"mhng,aaah-" little sighs of pleasure escaped from his mouth. he didn't even look at your face you could swear this embarrassed him too much.
"watch me while you do it sweetie, don't get delicate when you're a slut." you said admiring him and laughing at how bad these words had made your lover feel.
"and you're a fucking bastard who loves this slut." he spat looking at you with watery eyes and trembling lips. still he obeyed your order and continued touching himself. this time his movements were faster.
"well, that's true i can't deny it." you winked at him making him squeal. "now take off that annoying garment and let me see your torso. i'm sure your nipples want to be touched too."
the man closed his eyes as the garment fell off and accidentally rubbed against your nipples, making him give a little jump that you'd swear almost made him run.
you watched as jiang cheng bit his lips while one of his hands pinched your sensitive pink button and with the other hand he used the palm of his hand to rub the tip of your nipple.
again and again. this was the simple order, to touch each other sensually and shamelessly in front of you, without cumming until you said so.
"nhg- fucking hell…isn't this enough to mortify (name) me, i'm already- ahggg!"
"don't even think about cumming, if you do, you'll face the consequences honey." you said in a serious manner.
jiang whimpered and did an annoying little kick, biting his lips hard and crossing his legs as he felt the excitement want to take over him.
he was sweating and panting constantly, his legs were shaking and he was a mess. too cute.
"do you like what you do? tell me what you would like from me?"
the black-haired man snorted and looked away, still touching himself, obviously. ignoring your question.
"come on love, it's nothing i don't know."
"then what the hell do you want to hear it for, huh?" he said angrily.
you took the opportunity to pull down your lower clothing, leaving nothing exposed on him.
"if you tell me, the next thing you'll see is you riding me like a maniac, my love.

Nature specialist
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: Howdy-doody! How about The Untamed characters of your own choice x the reader who can interact with nature and animals? They are something like "reader's scouts", so the reader is always the first to know what is happening around them.
Pairing: Untamed girls x gn!reader
Tumblr media
Jiang Yanli:
Tumblr media
Wuxian had ran off again, courtesy of Jiang Cheng
more specifically the dogs that he had sent Wuxian's way
everyone had been searching for hours, the sky had already turned dark when a last resort was made
you walked in, you were probably the same age as Yanli (14 years old)
which surprised some people, including the girl
you kneeled on the ground, starting where they knew that Wuxian had run off
you walked carefully, hand remaining on the ground as you traced your fingers through the sand
you stopped only after ten minutes or so
freezing in your spot before shushing the family behind you
a deer stood on your path, unmoving as it stared
then, most expectingly, you approached the deer
now Yanli had tried this before as a child
always curious about the wildlife that surrounded her home
always unsuccessful, the animals scattered immediatley after noticing her
yet, the deer approached you and laid its head in your hands
you calmly whispered to the deer, petting it before letting it run off
"Will you come down now?"
you called out to seemingly no one, but looking up to the top of the trees
Wuxian's voice called back softly, asking if the dogs were around
Yanli called out this time, telling him that Jiang Cheng and his dogs had remained at the house
soon enough, Wuxian was climbing down the tree like he wasn't just an eight year old
you gave the kid a smile, picking him up as he waddles your way
he fell asleep the second you hand him to Yanli
she thanks you with a smile before inviting you to stay
she could hardly let you leave at this hour
you end up staying in her room next to her
(much to her mother's disappointment)
you don't sleep much, Yanli insists on questioning you
because she needs to know how you do it
you explain that you can talk to the animals and read the ground
it's like second nature, which she doesn't really get
she asks questions throughout the night
you don't sleep
she insists that you write her through your travels
and you do, which forms a bond with her
which may turn into love later in life
Luo Qingyang:
Tumblr media
she was pissed when she first met you
not at you, of course
she didn't even know you, so how could she possibly be pissed at you?
rather at Jin Zixuan
because he's an ass, like usual
she finds herself by the river to calm down, soon surrounded by some birds and rabbits
one bird approaches her first
a cute drongo bird sits on her leg, staring straight at her with curiosity
she's careful to pet it, but it melts underneath her fingers
"He likes you."
your voice is gentle, soft enough to not spook the animals around her
you sit down, a bit closer than Mianmian liked
you notice and scoot a bit further away
in a second, you're surrounded by all the animals
excluding the drongo bird, who stayed close by the girl
she just stares at it confusion before asking how you know
and you're kind enough to explain it
she lights up, smiling brightly and basically vibrating from excitement
get ready for the weirdest pop-quiz ever
because she had questions
a lot of questions
and she ain't leaving until she gets answer
you got there at ten in the morning, you leave when the sun starts to dissapear beneath the tree line
logically, you miss all classes of the day
not that either of you care much
Mianmian speaks bluntly, anything the girl thinks will spout from her mouth
which makes it certain that you will never be stuck in silence around her
but you listen to every single thought, smiling softly the whole way back
you get caught by Jin Zixuan
her mood drops immediately as she glared at the male
you split up, but you send a wink her way before whisteling softly
which leads to a flock of birds to swoop down at Zixuan, messing his hair up and ripping his clothes
you can see the corners of Mianmian's lips lift as she tries to hold her laughter
she'll come to you everytime after he annoys her in any way
but she also just hangs out with when she has free time
Wen Qing:
Tumblr media
she meets you later in her life
curtesy of the whole Wen massacre
more specifically in burial mounds
even though the grounds were long decayed from the years of dark energy that hung around, animals had started returning when Wuxian had neutralized part of the forest and mountain
she had warned Wuxian of the trouble it could bring
so when you arrived at the base, she could only give Wuxian the typical "I told you so"-look
luckily, you mean no harm to anyone
you don't care for the opinions of the higher groups against the Wens, you care more for the human lives that were lost because of the feud
seeing how they live just made your stomach twist, because no one deserves to live like a hunted animal
especially not because of someone else's mistakes
you keep yourself busy with Yuan, he is fascinated with the animals and you don't mind indulging him
Wen Qing keeps her eyes on the two of you the whole time
two reasons
one, she viewed Yuan as a little brother and wanted to know if he was safe
two, she was fascinated by the fact that you were able to communicate with the forest and its inhabitants
you seemed to constantly be aware of the animals surrounding you and how the forest felt in a way
sometimes she even caught you staring in the distance with a sad look
she approached you later in the evening, when she caught you once more
you don't even look away from the forest as you answer
"the forest is crying"
it was a simple statement, yet it held so much meaning when you said it
and when Wen Qing looked to the forest, she could almost sense what you meant
maybe it was the creaking of the wood or the cries of animals, but she could believe what you said with ease
she had heard weirder stuff before (unfortunately)
from then on, she caught you more often as you stared into the forest
and every evening, the two of you talked
somedays it was about the forest, but other days you just talked
about past events, life or just yourself
and after a few conversations, you are sure that you didn't want to leave

Previous Chapter - Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
Preparations for the arriving attack were made and now you waited nervously for everything to play into completion. The calm mask you wore usually was nowhere to be seen, it was replaced with a deep frown on your delicate face. Jiang Wanyin haven’t said anything ever since you showed him your curse but did not treat you differently. It felt like he accepted that as a fact about you and that was that. The dark dragon’s powers provided you with the ability to use resentful energy for cultivation. It was a legend, a myth circling around the kingdom since decades. Your mother used to tell tales about the mighty dark dragon who protected the kingdom from the northern tribes’ attacks.
You remembered when you begged the Heavens to give you enough power to bring peace to the kingdom and stop your cousin and uncle in destroying it completely. That night was quiet when you decided to spend three nights and days praying in the temple. The last night was the hardest as you knelt there without eating or drinking anything. Your lips were chapped and dry, your bones hurting and your skin prickling with how long it’s been since you last washed your face properly. Your eyes kept drooping as you knelt, murmuring prayers to the heavens. Suddenly, the candles at the altar were blown out by the strong wind hitting you as well and knocking you off balance as you knelt. Tears that stayed unshed now rolled down your cheeks and you quickly wiped at them as you tried to get your bearings back. Suddenly, a hand reached out for your hand. A white, pale hand with slender fingers, a white sleeve ending at the wrist of the person standing in front of you. You looked up in surprise as the person seemed to almost glow. You were greeted with a handsome young man smiling softly at you. His face looked so feminine that you could’ve mistaken him as a woman if he would wear a nice hanfu and some make-up.
“I heard your prayers, your highness” he spoke softly, kindness radiating from his heavenly presence. His voice was gentle like velvet, caressing your ears with every word he spoke.
“W-Who are you?” you asked confused. “How did you get in the palace?”
“I am Xie Lian, your highness, I came in behalf of the Heaven’s Court” he explained patiently. You accepted his hand to help you up but pulled your hand back once you were standing on your feet.
“Why?” you asked again even more confused. Why was a heaven official here and what did he want? You prayed for inner power to defeat the evil, confidence in yourself and strength to move forward even when you’re knocked down. You were so confused, you didn’t even question if he was some lunatic or was talking the truth.
“You prayed for it yourself” another male’s voice scoffed from the side. Your head whipped to the figure who was leaning against a pillar lazily. He was dressed in red clothes, his hair let down freely and a black eyepatch hiding one of his eyes. His presence felt… dark.
“You wished for powers to protect the weak and I was sent to grant your wish” Xie Lian smiled at you gently. You took a step back unbelieving of what was happening. How could you be worthy of the heaven’s attention like this? You wanted will power, not real power. Seeing the frightened expression on your face, Xie Lian took a step closer and placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. “The Heavenly Emperor sent me himself and he has a good reason to do so.”
“What reason?” you asked curious. Imagining heaven to have no snakes in the court would’ve been a careless thought, outright stupidity but while people live on the earth, they only care about their petty lives. Xie Lian smiled uneasily and sighed.
“That is unfortunately-“
“You’ll realize how shitty is the afterlife, princess, once you pass on” the other man huffed his handsome face in a scowl interrupting the man dressed in white. You narrowed your eyes at him, eyebrows furrowed but only rolled your eyes in the end at how he was speaking.
“San Lang! Do not be rude to the princess!” the official scolded the red clothed man.
“It does not matter, I have been through worse…” you sighed heavily, tired of everything. You had no energy left as you have been feeling agitated these last few months. No matter how you tried, you couldn’t get everything back to the way they were. It seemed like everything was trying to bring you down. “What do I have to do?”
“Are you this willing to accept such a curse?!” San Lang huffed in disbelief, his eyebrow raising on his forehead high. His chuckle was both mocking and disbelieving as he shook his head. You smiled at him sadly and nodded.
“I may end up in a bad situation but I am ready to protect those who I care about” you said, your heart thumping hard in your chest with determination. You were ready, no matter what you had to do. You had nothing else to lose, your life was not a big prize in exchange of the lives of thousands. “The evil my uncle and cousin are trying to bring onto the kingdom needs to be stopped.”
“Close your eyes, your highness” Xie Lian said and you obliged. You felt the tip of his index finger press against your forehead in the middle before you felt energy surge into your body. You distinctly heard his voice murmur words but everything was a blur. The next time you opened your eyes and everything seemed normal was the next morning. You were woken up by Lili who ushered you back to your quarters while most of the palace was still asleep.
A hand on your shoulder made you jump with a start, surprising you out of your memories. You looked up to see Wei Wuxian look at you confused and worried. His dark eyebrows drawn together as his lips parted to say something in case you wouldn’t recognize him. Your lips pulled into a smile as you motioned for him to join you at the small table by the lake you chose to spend your breakfast at.
“Wei gongzi” you greeted. “Would you like some tea? Or… wine?” you pulled out a small bottle of Emperor’s Smile from your sleeve looking around. “Jiang sect leader forbid everyone from drinking in Yunmeng. But I asked Lili to stash away one for me.”
“Sometimes I do wonder if you’re truly a princess, your highness” Wei Ying chuckled as he accepted the bottle. “Have your highness left all manners of a lady behind in the palace?”
“Sometimes we have to leave manners when it comes to business” you winked at him before both of you let out a mirthful laugh. It was easy being around him, Wei Wuxian was nice and kindhearted even if he tended to hide his concern or pain behind indifference or jokes.
“What kind of business, your highness? Are you implying about asking for my brother’s hand in marriage?” he raised one of his eyebrows playfully. “His heart is already yours, your highness.”
“We always talk about me asking Jiang Wanyin’s hand but shouldn’t he be the one to ask for mine?” you sighed with a sad smile. For the first time in a while, you admitted to someone that you truly cared for the sect leader. Wei Wuxian’s eyes looked at you with curiosity.
“But would you?” his head was tilted to the side. “If his stubborn ass refuses to?”
“That is much more complicated than just a proposal, Wei Ying” you shook your head. “I’m a fugitive, sent into exile, a princess out of the emperor’s favors. Besides… I’m not sure I will live long enough to become a good wife.”
“In the end the only thing that matters is what you feel” the Yiling Patriarch smiled at you with a pain in his brown eyes you were familiar with. “Look at me and Lan Zhan, your highness. Even if I became the villain so others could live peacefully, even if I sacrificed everything, I ended up with the one I was meant to be with.”
“It is still not the same” you chuckled sadly. “Especially because it’s not a hundred percent sure that someone will resurrect me after I die.”
“Who knows?” he grinned at you and lifted his cup before downing its contents. “If you have a good enough reputation?”
Later ~
Dark clouds gathered up above Yunmeng when a disciple ran back through the gates with caution and urgency. He reported seeing the soon arriving army of the three generals. You chewed on your lip with your heart beating fast in your chest. Lili was still away and you had no idea if she managed to get a word with Xiao Pei.
Yunmeng alone wasn’t enough to defend the kingdom and stop the generals. The wait was excruciating as you stood with Jiang Wanyin in the main garden. Both of you were tense as the overwhelming silence stretched between you. It was similar to when you awaited the next showdown between you and your cousin. A sizzling, tight tension that could blow up in a second. Though this time you were standing on the same side with this man.
“Wanyin” you spoke up suddenly. Calling him by his name was not uncommon from you and it always drew his attention to you. Oh, how you loved it when his brown eyes found your form. You stepped closer to him when he turned to you with a frown on his handsome face. “If we survive this… you can ask anything of me. I will do as you say for I am already in debt to you. You’ve given me much help already and I want to express my gratitude.”
“Anything? Are you sure?” his lips pulled into a small almost invisible smile. “I ask you to stay alive. You have much to accomplish on this world, besides… who could beat a dragon, your highness?”
“It is a curse, A-Cheng” you scolded playfully. “Though, I have to admit you have a point. It would be much more easier if I could just scorch the enemy to death with my breath, no?”
You saw the excitement and childlike glee in his eyes at that idea making you laugh mirthfully. You’ve never been so smitten with another person like this. Wanyin was fascinating in every sense for you and you couldn’t help but want to explore all of his buttons by pushing them as far as you could.
“You’d like to see that, don’t you, A-Cheng?” you chuckled making his face grow red as he crossed his arms in front of his chest huffing in embarrassment.
“Just follow our plans, your highness and nothing will go wrong” Wanyin huffed impatiently making you smile fondly. His light blush covering his cheeks told you how embarrassed he was in your presence. Up until you revealed your true nature, Wanyin was struggling to figure out a good plan of attack, his only plans were of defense. Telling him about the full extent of your powers made him let you change some of the battle plans. As you looked at him, your heart started aching knowing that even if he accepted you for who you became, you could still not give him what both you and him wanted. You knew you were soulmates but this lifetime, you were fated to not have an ending together.
Your ears picked up the sound of drums and the marching of soldiers making your heart thump harder against your ribcage. Both of you unsheathed your swords, bodies tense, ready to attack any minute. The enemy soon appeared at the gates Yunmeng Jiang disciples trying to fight them back. Running through the gates, you were soon faced with the first attackers. They were wearing silver armor, crying out to urge themselves into battle while lifting their swords high. Dancing through the onslaught of soldiers was easy, cutting them fatally with every step. Blood splattered on your face and clothes as you moved forward. You were aware of how far you’ve broke into their forces, a lone flower in the sea of weed. Most of the soldiers just went forward without really noticing you unless you were right in front of them. You glanced back at Wanyin when you had a moment to gasp a breath of air in without anyone attacking you.
He nodded at you from afar signaling for you to make your next move. Sheathing your sword, you quickly raised a dark black fog as wide as you could around your form. It was one of your abilities, the HeiWu 黑雾 was one of your favorite tricks. It was harmless but made the enemy blind as long as they were surrounded by the fog. You watched the soldiers of the enemy lose their sense of direction and walk around aimlessly, their faces shocked and terrified. You didn’t need to do anything because the moment they noticed someone get close to them, they cut down their own comrades. Leaving them to kill each other, you walked out of the fog to see Jiang Wanyin still struggling to keep the enemy back. There were many casualties on both sides and a sense of regret filled your heart. So many lives lost to a handful of people’s power hunger. Taking out your erhu, you started playing E’meng keeping a bunch of soldiers behind an invisible wall. Tears rolled down your cheeks as you watched them hold their heads in agony from the notes of your song. Fortunately, the song’s effect was only strong enough to make them pass out.
You suddenly heard battle drums play out a new rhythm and a new wave of soldiers ran out from the enemy’s side. Your eyes widened knowing that they were too close or rather you were too close to the enemy. You wouldn’t have time to retreat back to your side. You were about to start a new song when you were pierced through the chest with an arrow. You blinked a few times in shock until the pain registered in your senses. You lifted a hand to the bleeding wound, your fingers painted with your blood. Before you could do anything, you were yanked backward, strong arms circling your torso, pulling you into a firm chest. The smell of magnolias and the imperial court’s luxurious oolong tea – that was specifically made for only the royal family – filled your nostrils.
“Xiao Pei” you mumbled surprised as you clutched onto your old friend while he held you. He was flying through the sky back to Jiang Wanyin but his hold on you was stable. His handsome face turned to you and a small smile graced his features as he looked back at you.
“I am here, Ran’En” he replied.
Jiang Cheng’s PoV.
The sect leader panted heavily as he slashed down another soldier charging towards him. Using Zidian helped him to thin the lines of the enemy. General Zhou, Li and Huang was attacking relentlessly. He was doubting those three really thought over what they were starting with a rebellion. Overthrowing the power of the emperor was not an easy feat, especially if they were doing it so openly by marching through the kingdom.
They were out of time, the enemy’s lines seemed to be never ending, soldiers swarming the place. Blood was staining the lotus pods’ water while dead bodies littered the courtyard. Yunmeng’s forces were pushed back that they were now trying to defend the walls and gates. He remembered the day the Wen sect massacred his family. Seeing his parents’ bloodied motionless bodies lying in front of Wen Chao’s feet. His hand clenched around the handle of Sandu as he gritted his teeth. The only difference between the past and the present was the fact that he was the one massacring an army that attacked Yunmeng.
“Jiang Cheng” Wei Wuxian pointed in front of him with furrowed eyebrows and slightly parted lips. Wanyin couldn’t determine if his brother was truly this stupid or just fooling around. They were in the middle of a battle and Wei Wuxian decided to point at the sky. He reluctantly looked up to see a man dressed in exquisite clothes fly through the sky with a woman in his arms. It took him a moment to realize who that woman was. He took a deep breath at seeing that she was safely back but cursed himself for letting her in on the planning. He never liked her idea of going into the enemy’s lines so far but her reasoning eased him into the idea.
The man dressed so expensively landed a few feet away from them. The princess pushed away from him and tried to stand on her feet but was clearly not able to. Wanyin looked at the woman in shock when he saw the arrow piercing through her chest. Everyone stood in shock as she fell to the ground coughing up blood. Wei Wuxian was the first to gain his bearings back and hurry over to help her.
“Ran’En!” the unfamiliar man’s voice thundered as she lied there. Wanyin turned to the newcomer who was wearing clothes from fine fabric showing how high in rank he was. The man crouched down to the princess and took her in his arms, lifting her up easily again. Wanyin had to admit, the stranger was handsome, an ethereal divine being from a fantasy novel. Thump. His heart clenched uneasily as he watched the man hold the princess in his arms like she was the most precious thing in the world. He couldn’t stand seeing the princess being so close to that man and Wanyin struggled to find an answer to why.
“Xiao Pei… Thank you for coming” the princess said weakly as blood dripped down her chin.
“Say no more, Ran’En” the man, Xiao Pei shushed her gently before turning to Wei Wuxian. “Get a healer! Now!”
Wanyin just stared at the two of them without his brain processing much of what was happening around him. He was the reason the princess was in that condition. He should’ve helped her, not nearly sacrifice her!
To be continued…

Jiang Cheng and you have been close friends ( I feel like Adrien from MLB.. ) They never thought he would ACTUALLY find someone that ( insert Jiang Cheng’s list )! He brought you to Swords hall for a meeting and you were beside him while he gives them the information “Dear can I speak about something?” you give him a smile and he nods “What I think about the topic now is that the defenses are low but the offense is quite.. Exaggerated.. The doctors won’t have enough time to heal everyone injured. The defense is more important since they’re attacks are powerful, and what’s important is that half of the strongest disciples should be able to protect the weaker ones.” Everyone was amazed by your thoughts! Now they often request you to go to the Cultivation Conferences to help them organize the troops and more. “Wanyin? How did I do?” you smile softly at him “You did splendidly.” He caresses your cheek gently as you sit down with him looking at the view. “Do we still keep it a secret or?..” “I think we should tell them.. I don’t want anybody stealing you away from me..” You never thought that the Sandu Shengshou had this kind of personality! And so they took the hint from Jiang Cheng’s face to back of my property. So they did but the reaction was “Whatt?! H-how.. Him?!” “How did he-” The gossip started but the both of you didn’t mind. “Cheng Cheng! How’s it goin with your girl?” “It’s Y/N to you.” You came in with some Lotus rib soup and served it to the both of them  “My My! Your cooking is great!” You chuckle and began to talk with him he seemed like a nice guy! You wonder why he was considered a threat anyways ( OH SHOOT I’M OFF TOPIC! ) The Cultivational Conferences made you build up your reputation and you were well-respected by all. You had a happy life with your soon to be husband (-ω•).
bonus :
Song Xiaoyue : “I was off topic right?”
Jiang Cheng : “I don’t know I wasn’t paying attention.”
Song Xiaoyue : “Well the topic is about you finding your beloved and that SHE HAS MORE BRAINCELLS THAN YOU.”
Wei Wuxian : “Hahaha! Jiang Cheng she is right!” * continues to laugh  hysterically *
Jiang Cheng : “Song.. Xiao.. YUE!!” * Lightning crackles *
Song Xiaoyue : “Well.. I’m dead but it was worth making you dumb and the female lead smarter than you.”
Jiang Cheng : “I. Will. Break. Your. legs.”
Song Xiaoyue : “Try me PUNK.”
Wei Wuxian : * Still laughing *

ok I'm going to feed you a thought that's been keeping me up at night lately. The brat jiang cheng being punished by having his dick beaten after being caught masturbating while the reader was away (traveling? on business?), but then he is caught red-handed and punished for thinking he could trick us behind our backs. (I know you love him and want to make him whimper and beg like I do)
OMFGGGGGG i love you anon! <333 this is so yummyyyy
ෆ    ִ      ׁ   sub jiang cheng
cw; dom reader, impact play, begging, little of humillation
jiang cheng had a terrible temper, always assertive, with anger issues and was a real jerk when he wanted to be.
but when it came to you he became the easiest and dirtiest brat you could imagine. he was always looking around for your attention, for you to grope him and make him whine.
he would whine about being number one to you in everything.
so it didn't surprise you at all to see him in his room while he masturbated like a desperate boy. he didn't seem to hide it because he thought you weren't home. and the idiot was disobeying you.
You had made it clear to him that no touching until you came home. it wasn't that hard and it was only a couple of weeks away.
"ummnh, (name), i wish you were here." you heard the man whine.
you cleared your throat and leaned back against the door frame. jiang cheng was so overcome with excitement that he hadn't noticed your presence.
when he heard you he gave a little jump and his eyes fell on you. you saw him open his mouth and whimper for ruining his orgasm. the man was completely stiff, even a little, scared?
"(n.. name), let me…"
"shut your mouth whore, what do you do when i'm not at home. did you forget what we talked about, dear?"
you slowly approached until you were close to your boy. his face was flushed, his forehead and neck damp with sweat. his clothes were torn and wrinkled as his cock stood up in the middle of his outfit.
you slowly stroked his hair, releasing it from its bun which was also a mess.
you really liked jiang cheng with his hair down.
" get down on your knees, my love." you said as you grabbed his hair tightly and threw it at your feet.
jiang cheng looked at you with pleading and teary eyes. the whole situation was difficult for him. his cock was crying, he felt ashamed and was a little afraid of what you would do to him. but that didn't stop his cock from throbbing.
you smiled mischievously and with your foot began to massage the weeping tip of your beloved.
you saw jiang bite his lips and close his eyes in a form of pure satisfaction. so dirty.
you felt the sliminess of his cock wet your foot. and this helped it slide easier all over his tip.
"what's the matter, i didn't let you cum and now you're mad at me, love?"
jiang cheng looked at you serious and through gritted teeth. his hair was streaming down his face and made him look so miserable. that's how you liked to have him.
after you were gently massaging his member without warning you slapped his cock, making it bounce.
"aaaah! fuck!"
you moved your hand down to his neck and squeezed it. "no bad words jiang cheng, this is only your fault. don't make me stop fucking you for a whole month."
the man shook his head repeatedly while you were still holding him, tears were starting to flow down from his eyes and his skin was turning red.
still holding him by the neck, you began to kiss him. feeling your boy's tongue slip into your mouth with anticipation. his lips devouring yours. with too much desperation.
while you had him like that, you took the momentum and kicked him in his balls.
"mmnhg, haaaa! (name), stop, stop, i' ll be good… i promise, i won't notdo it again…"
jiang cheng was writhing in pain and pleasure. that kick had made him liquidize pre- cum. his cock was red and so hard, just like his balls.
his whimpering and begging made you so horny. you couldn't get used to this.
you looked at his face wracked with tears and pleasure. god he was so dirty. you wanted to fuck him right there.
"i'll only stop teasing you until i want to, my love. now shut that little mouth of yours and only open it to whimper, okay?"
jiang cheng's lips were trembling. "yes, yes (name)!

Tumblr media
While you were staying in the infirmary, Jiang Cheng was working busily on repairing the walls and roofs of the buildings and cleaning the lotus pods from blood. You felt useless as you had to stay put for more than a week with your deep wound but you decided to work on your disguise in the meantime. Once the second part of your plans would come to fruition, you had to be prepared. Over the time you were preparing for your exile even back in the palace, you started learning how to disguise yourself so not even those who knew you closely, would recognize you.
After a week, you were let out of your room but you were forbidden to train or part take in any physical activity. Not that you felt like training with how much your wound hurt. So you spent your days sitting in the gardens or mostly spending your time with Jiang Wanyin in his study, helping him sort out papers. Xiao Pei insisted on accompanying you everywhere until he was called back to the capital. His behavior made you sure of his budding feelings for you. It meant problem for you. Besides, after finishing your mission, you were planning on leaving all of it behind and to never look back.
You tried to find anything that was different about your old friend during the time he spent with you but the only thing you noticed was his jealous looks thrown to Jiang Wanyin. If you would’ve been in a different situation you would’ve laughed your head off at both males glaring at each other whenever they met. Xiao Pei made sure to feel himself at home in Yunmeng which you found impolite however, decided against voicing your concerns. You were sure he was doing it to play onto his rank both carrier vise and birth right vise.
Days passed quietly after everything was repaired and taken care of. You were enjoying a late breakfast out in the gardens with Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji. Sun shone down on you as you chewed on a piece of grape. (fav. fruit) were your favorite but by the time they would reach Yunmeng, they would all go bad. Chatting away with Wei Ying was a daily routine by now besides it was hilarious when he was teasing ‘Lan-Er gege’ as he called Hanguang-Jun playfully making the man’s ears go all red.
Quiet footsteps could be heard approaching the three of you and by the look Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian was giving the newcomer, you deducted that it could be no other than Xiao Pei. None of the others liked your friend from the palace which you could understand in some way. What made you feel uneasy was the fact that you knew a different Xiao Pei, one who would get along with your new friends. You turned to your old friend with a gentle smile on your lips and greeted him.
“Good morning, Xiuxiu” at the old pet name, the general’s ears turned red. Back when you were children, you called him Xiuxiu without a care in the world that all the eunuchs and court officials were gasping in shock at how informal you were addressing one of the royal family members. They expected you to address your sister and cousins by etiquette. After a while you did address them as such but little children usually do not understand the reason behind it when adults try to make them follow the rules. Besides, the emperor was always patient and indulgent when it came to young children. When you became an adolescent though, your grandfather called you to spend lunch with him. From then on, he expected you to call him and everyone as the etiquette stated you should. The emperor was kind and righteous, treating people as they should be treated. He only ever failed to see how evil his own son, the Second Prince was though.
“Good morning, your highness, Hanguang-Jun, Mo gongzi” Pei Xiu nodded towards the two men sitting in your company. To your relief, Wei Ying decided to stay with a polite ‘good morning’. You were expecting your friend to politely ask if he could join but instead, a strange silence engulfed the four of you. You looked at Pei Xiu again with furrowed eyebrows but he was smiling at the other two with a strained expression. Was he trying to will them away with his presence or something? It was not a rule that the lower ranked person should leave once a royal appears and wishes to speak to the one surrounded by the lower ranked men.
You couldn’t take the strange atmosphere anymore so you stood up after wiping your mouth with delicate moves and turned to Pei Xiu. Reaching for his hand, you pulled on it tugging him towards the gardens.
“Come, walk with me, Xiuxiu” you smiled before turning to Hanguang-Jun and Wei Ying. “Thank you for keeping me company! We’ll take our leave now.” You didn’t miss Wei Wuxian’s dumbfounded expression even though you quickly turned back to your old friend.
You had no idea why Xiao Pei was so annoying these days. Back in the palace, he never acted like this or maybe you were not around so many attractive men back then for him to have a competition with. Your mind was racing with questions and theories about his behavior when he stopped you by pulling his hand back. You stopped curious and turned to him questioningly. He was handsome but you never saw him other than your relative or friend. His eyes were staring at you with seriousness, his lips set in a thin line as his jaw clenched.
“Ran’En… you’ve changed much” he said.
“Once you leave the capital, the weather takes a complete change” you replied with a wistful smile. “It is a wonder to me whether I will be able to pick up where I left once I arrive to the capital.”
“Do you miss it? The old days?” Xiao Pei asked stepping closer to you.
“I only miss some people, not the past” you replied. “When will you return to the capital?”
“Will you see me off when I depart?” he asked and you could tell that something in the air shifted. It was filled with hope, oh so much hope for a positive answer to the question lingering inside that much more simple question. You swallowed hard, lowering your gaze from the pond to your feet.
“Xiuxiu… please don’t hold onto feelings that could never see to fruition” you said quietly. “We both know that I either die in the palace or disappear once everything is settled.”
“I’d still love you for the rest of eternity, Ran’En” Xiao Pei answered, his voice trembling before his lips pressed a soft kiss to your temple. When you looked up, you only saw his receding form. You felt your heart break for your friend. You know exactly how it feels to love someone who can never be yours. A tear slid down your cheek while you prayed to the Heavens to grant him a happy ending one day.
However, your worries quickly receded once you could be around Jiang Wanyin again. It made you feel guilty for feeling giddy so quickly when A-Cheng was around, forgetting about your sympathy for your old friend’s heartbreak. It felt wrong yet right at the same time.
Ever since, those words were echoing inside your mind making your heart thump hard in your chest. Xiao Pei’s commitment and loyalty to you was on a completely different level if he could say that he’d love you till he dies and even then. Then there was the sect leader who clearly held your heart. Every glance, every rare smile he gave you, it made your heart race. Feeling how much Wanyin cared for you, you were both grateful and heartbroken. Fate had a cruel way of pushing one party towards the other. Doomed love. You wished you could be what Wanyin deserved but you were not. You accepted a curse but fate decided to make your paths cross just to leave both of you brokenhearted in the end.
Jiang Cheng was your soulmate, you were fated to meet him though fate decided to take him away from you. You’ve already given everything you could for a good cause. You could’ve just walked away after you got exiled but you had to turn back and try to fight. Others would try to distance themselves from the one that could never be theirs but you weren’t that type of person. You were a masochist. You kept stealing glances at Jiang Cheng as the two of you worked in his study. It wasn’t usual for a woman let alone a noble woman to handle financials but you weren’t an average noble woman. The little Ran’En, who was still living inside your heart, loved to go against the rules. Learning mathematics was your way of showing everyone that you won’t stay inside and be pretty.
Jiang Cheng’s eyebrows furrowed as he concentrated on his work, rolling up and rolling out parchments, grabbing books and throwing them on the floor once he found what he was looking for. His purple robes loosened around his neck as he was moving about the study busily, revealing his collarbone, giving you a hint of what was under those robes. Everything… Oh, if you’d get the opportunity to give him everything, you would do so. The sect leader must’ve felt your gaze on him as he lifted his face to look at you. You smiled at him with a mischievous grin making him blush deeply.
“What are you staring at me like that, your highness?!” he asked embarrassedly only resulting in that grin on your face stretching wider.
“Aren’t you a little cold, sect leader?” you pointed at his loose robes. If it was humanly possible, his face grew even more red and quickly turned around fixing his robes. You pouted when he turned back and continued. “I was about to ask if you’d like me to warm the room up for you. It is a shame I had no time.”
“Sometimes I really wonder if you’re an imperial princess” he huffed but his blush was still there. “The amount of shameless things that leave your mouth speaks otherwise!” You were about to stand up and go over with a witty come back when a disciple knocked on the door and entered with urgency. A letter was clutched in his hands and he bowed deeply stretching out his arms towards the sect leader.
“This letter came this morning from the Imperial Palace! The messenger said it was for you, sect leader Jiang!” he announced and you could tell that the poor disciple was trembling slightly. After all, it was not an everyday feat that one could hold a letter from the emperor himself. You stood up and took the letter from him, the young boy tried to protest but a flick of your glowing eyes giving him a look made him shut up. Jiang Cheng dismissed him quickly closing the doors behind him while you opened the letter.
Seeing the intricate, sophisticated look of the characters sent a chill down your spine. Oh, how long it has been since you saw a letter written by the emperor’s right hand man. In a way you felt nostalgic and missed some of the days spent in the court, however, mostly, you despised even just the thought of meeting people there. Skimming through the lines, you grinned happily.
“An invitation for me” Jiang Cheng uttered still quite shocked as he was reading the letter over your shoulder. Feeling his soft breath fan over your jawline sent a shiver down your spine, your heart speeding up in your ribcage. You quickly took a few steps away from him as you turned to him plastering a large smile on your face.
“We have a lot to do before we set off though!” you clapped your hands already having new ideas about what you will spend your days with until taking off. You saw his handsome face look at you with confusion which morphed into dread quickly.
“Etiquette lessons?”
“Etiquette lessons” you grinned at him as you nodded eagerly.
Meanwhile at the Imperial Palace:
The sun was shining warmly over the palace, a lonely figure in light armor and a straight, rigid posture was making their way down the main corridor towards the Second Prince’ residency. Servants bowed deeply to the man walking down that path, most of their faces showing fear or hiding it behind indifference. Once the figure made their way to the large doors of the Second Prince’ study, Lian eunuch gasped at the man’s sight and opened the doors quickly while lowering himself into a deep bow.
“General Pei! Second Prince is inside” the eunuch said but the general was already inside. Xiao Pei waited for the doors to close behind him before he turned to Second Prince. The man was tall and imposing, his shoulders wide and posture rigid as he sat by the table taking the finishing touches on a letter. His dark eyebrows were protruding, casting a deep shadow over his black eyes. His high cheekbones made his cheeks look sunken in like he was slightly underweight.
“Dianxia*” Xiao Pei bowed with an emotionless expression. Ever since Ran’En left a year ago, this general changed so much. He no longer was the righteous general Pei, he was the general Pei who was feared by many both inside and outside of the court. The darkness he was surrounded with came from within. Ever since the princess left, the general became a ruthless warrior yet he still wanted to hide that darkness from her. There was this shame he felt when he thought about how the princess would react if she knew all about his actions. “I have come as you asked.”
“How was your stay in Yunmeng?” the prince set the brush down carefully and folding the letter, he stood up. Second Prince strode over to Xiao Pei with a cold smile on his lips, his eyes glinting with maliciousness. The power this man held was frightening, however, what made him truly terrifying was the fact that he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Biting the hand that fed him for many years in the second he got the chance to grab onto more power and authority.
“It was not how I imagined it would be…” the general replied emotionlessly. Xiao Pei knew he was in dangerous territory as he lowered his gaze. “Jiang Wanyin… if your highness wants to proceed forward successfully, your highness should pay attention to him.”
“Ah, newcomers easily steal the spotlight” the prince chuckled quietly. The general’s jaw clenched at the underlying meaning of that sentence. He knew many people in the court already knew about his gentle feelings towards the princess. He cursed himself for being such an obvious fool. “Unfortunately, the little bird you brought to me haven’t sang her melodies to me.”
“She’s faithful to the princess, she’d rather die than to betray Ran’En” Xiao Pei narrowed his eyes as he avoided the prince’s piercing gaze.
“I have my ways with women” Second Prince winked at the general before he walked to the doors. “His highness the emperor already sent a letter to Jiang Wanyin. Rejoice, general, my niece will soon arrive back to the palace.”
Xiao Pei watched the prince leave before he himself followed suite, his handsome face looking like the stormy sea at night. He now knew how hard it was for Ran’En all on her own in this damned place. He needed to figure out how to take the next step without the Second Prince or Ran’En suspecting anything. Once Ran’En arrives to the palace in whatever form, she will be hard to deceive or avoid her attention. She was too smart.

Jiang Wanyin stood in front of the closed doors of the infirmary. His back tense, posture rigid as he stood there with his arms crossed in front of his chest. He stood like a statue ever since the healers brought the princess inside. The dark shadows over his handsome face reminded Wei Wuxian of the thunder storms over the sea. The Yiling Patriarch was worried for Zhu Ran’En as well but knew that he needed to stay composed.
No one explained to him how the princess ended up in the middle of the battlefield but decided to wait with his questions. As Wei Wuxian remembered of the plans, the princess should’ve stayed behind to not draw attention to herself. Hanguang-Jun slid his hand onto his lower back without others noticing it, making Wei Ying turn to his lover with a reassuring small smile.
“It will be alright, Lan Zhan” he said more for his own reassurance. His lover only nodded quietly. Both of them grew fond of the princess as she brought a new dynamic into their lives. He enjoyed her company compared to the strict rules in Gusu. She was mischievous and playful, always ready for some light teasing when Jiang Cheng was around.
“How will anything be alright, Wei Wuxian?! Nothing will be alright!” Jiang Cheng growled angrily. “She shouldn’t have been a part of the plan, she should’ve stayed inside-“
“But she didn’t” came the voice of Xiao Pei from behind them. Wei Wuxian remembered how Zhu Ran’En described the general and called him Xiao Pei but his real name was Pei Xiu. Wei Ying heard people talk about the general because of his grand achievements on the battlefield. The man was quite handsome, tall and regal especially wearing the fine clothes of a high official. His eyes looked at Jiang Cheng like he wanted to run his sword through the sect leader’s chest. “For the time being I decided to not ask who is to blame for her injuries, but once she recovered, I will find the one who hurt the imperial princess.”
“General Pei” Wei Wuxian quickly greeted the man politely bowing to him. His smile was far from genuine but held no malice. Yet. He couldn’t help but feel that something was off about the general. “The healers said that the Princess will soon gain consciousness.”
“I would say that it is nice to meet you, Mo gongzi, but I would have to lie then” Xiao Pei replied coldly and walked past him without giving him a second glance. With his reputation, Wei Wuxian wasn’t surprised that another person treated him this coldly. Most people thought it was disgusting and unbefitting to have a lover from the same gender. Though, he was surprised the general knew his name – or rather the true owner’s name of the body he was in – without him introducing himself.
“General Pei, you cannot just go in there” Jiang Cheng spoke up when the man tried to barge into the room where Ran’En was being treated. Wanyin was clearly shaken up and worried, Xiao Pei only added oil to the fire with walking around Yunmeng like he owned the place. Wei Wuxian wasn’t really surprised, the man was royalty with him being the emperor’s brother’s grandson. No one used the title prince when they were talking about him though, Wei Ying having no idea why.
“You may be the sect leader of the Yunmeng Jiang sect but you have no authority over me, Jiang Wanyin” the man hissed out before turning back to the door and walking in closing the door in their faces. Jiang Cheng seemed to be about to burst into the room and drag the general’s ass out, however, Wei Wuxian decided to interject before the general would behead his brother for insolence.
“A-Cheng! Come, come! You cannot do much here right now, let’s wait for the princess to wake up!” Wei Ying grabbed his brother’s arm and pulled him over to another corridor. Wanyin pulled his arm out of his hold when they were far enough and hit the wall angrily. Disciples and servants ducked back to other corridors and rooms when they saw how irked their chief was.
“This is all my fault” Jiang Cheng gritted out as he leaned forward. Wei Wuxian knew how his brother was blaming himself over her highness’ injury but it made his heart not only sink with pity but fill with hope for his brother. Jiang Cheng deserved to be happy and he knew that the princess was the perfect match for his brother.
“That arrow was not fired by you, Jiang Cheng” Wei Ying protested.
“Could’ve been as well fired by me! She insisted on helping us making me let her run into the middle of the battlefield just because she knows some tricks! I sent her into danger! I shouldn’t have let her-“
“She knew what she was doing” Hanguang-Jun spoke up suddenly. “Ran’En was ready to take that risk.”
Wei Ying looked at his lover a little surprised by how casually Lan Zhan was talking about the princess, using only her first name. He noted to himself to question the mighty Hanguang-Jun about that later.
“By the way, when were you two planning on telling us about the change of plans?” Wei Ying crossed his arms in front of his chest. Jiang Cheng sighed tiredly averting his gaze from both. For a few minutes, the Yiling Patriarch thought his brother would stay silent when he finally spoke up telling them about all of it. His eyes widened in shock at what the princess agreed to. He read notes about the dark dragon back in Gusu’s library. It was a legend or supposed to be. The legends say that if the dark dragon emerges, the world is in great danger. Then suddenly, a servant approached the three of them with her head bowed and back hunched slightly.
“Sect leader, the princess is awake and asked for the three of you” she bowed to them but by the time she raised back up, they were nowhere to be seen.
Your PoV.
You woke up slowly, head fuzzy and chest hurting but you knew you were no longer in danger. The smell of medicine and clean sheets indicated that you were in the infirmary. You blinked a few times to clear your vision and gasped as you accidentally moved your torso making the wound hurt. You’ve only been hurt like this once when there was an assassination going wrong and you were in the way of the assassin.
“Ran’En!” a familiar male voice called you worry lacing his words as he spoke right next to you. “I was so worried, Ran’En…”
“Wanyin… where is Wanyin?” you asked weakly. You had to know what happened, you had to know if you were successful. The hand holding yours squeezed your fingers tightly at your request.
“It is me, Pei Xiu” your old friend spoke softly though his tone was restrained like he was holding back his emotions whatever they were. You turned your head to him as carefully as possible and smiled at him weakly.
“Xiao Pei” you greeted him. “I was worried that Lili wouldn’t reach you in time.”
“I came as fast as I could” Pei Xiu replied but you could easily tell that something was off about his expression after your mention of Lili. “I have much to tell you about the palace-“
“Where is she? Did she come back with you?!” you asked forcing yourself to sit up as you demanded an answer from the general. Your heart was beating in your chest loudly as your worry grew with every minute. Pei Xiu lowered his gaze from your (e/c) eyes making your heart clench in pain.
“She was caught by the Second Prince’ personal guard, Cao BaiXian after she reached me. Before he could get to torture her, she… she committed suicide.”
Silence fell on the two of you as you struggled to keep breathing. Tears ran down your cheeks as you sat there feeling useless. You promised to protect her, you promised to give her a good life, safety. It felt like an endless line of people you grew close to will inevitably fall to their death because of you. You were the reason she’s dead and the world can only blame you for her death.
You didn’t even register Xiao Pei’s strong arms circling your form, pulling you tightly against his chest. His familiar scent made your heart ache even more. You missed the simple days back when you were a child, when you still had your mother, when you had the time of your life hiding from the maids and servants who tried to chase you down and make you return to the classes you hated. Xiao Pei was the only one who treated you like a friend back then.
“Tell me what happened in the imperial palace since I left? Is it bad? Can we do anything?” you asked after a long silence. Your own voice sounded to you lifeless and dull, just like how you were feeling.
“Many things happened though I managed to keep Crown Prince safe but our days are shortening in number” he started with his eyebrows furrowed. After your friend told you everything there was to tell, you nodded silently.
“Xiao Pei… I need some rest” you spoke softly and patted his hand over yours. “I will see you once the healers let me out of here. Until then, please rest well and take care of Wanyin.”
“Wanyin? You never mentioned in your letters that you got on first name basis with the sect leader…” Xiao Pei’s tone was strange but you just chuckled weakly and shook your head.
“I like to tease him with acting like we’re familiar, it is amusing to see his dumbfounded face” you replied suspicious of your friend’s behavior. You noticed his intentions back in the palace but due to the two of you being blood related even if not closely, you still felt off about it. Not repulsed or disgusted but it didn’t feel right. You never encouraged his feelings and never called him out on it. “I will be fine, don’t you worry!”
You smiled at him trying to tell him that your conversation was over. Xiao Pei sighed and nodded leaving you alone. A minute later, a servant girl entered the room with new bandages and warm water to wash your wound and redress it. Once she finished, you grabbed her wrist drawing her attention to yourself.
“Could you please ask the sect leader to visit me? It is important” you smiled at her gently and let her go when she nodded. Her form slipped out between the doors and disappeared from your sight. You closed your eyes trying to relax some even though the feeling of dread. Something was off about your old friend, something made the hair on the back of your neck stand.
Were you strong enough to withstand the fight? Were you enough to stop the demise of the kingdom? No… none of that. You had to stand strong, you had to fight and never give up. You were trusted with this power for a reason. You got this power because of the Heavens finding you capable of solving the problem.
“Ran’En!” his voice interrupted your thoughts. His familiar voice sounded worried as the sect leader burst through the doors. You turned to Wanyin as much as you could and smiled at him gently.
“I’m here, Wanyin” you said quietly reaching out for his hand. Jiang Wanyin knelt down next to your bed, looking at you like you were a miracle. You wanted to be reckless, you wanted to be the little girl who died the night your mother was killed, the one who just wanted to live happily and find love. You wanted to grab his cheeks and pull him into a kiss, a promise of love and trust. Instead, you squeezed his hand reassuringly. “I’m here.”
“I was so worried about you, your highness” Jiang Wanyin said bowing his head. Your eyebrows furrowed and quickly reaching under his chin, you lifted his face so you could look him in the eyes.
“None of it was your fault, Wanyin” you said firmly.
“You wouldn’t be injured if I wouldn’t have let you-“
“Stop being like that! You’ve done nothing wrong! I wanted to help and did just that! I am quite proud of the fact that half of the enemy’s army was eradicated by just me!” you huffed as you clicked your tongue.
“Ah, so your highness is fine enough to boast about her achievements already!” Wei Wuxian quipped playfully making you chuckle mirthfully.
“Wouldn’t you do the same, Wei gongzi?” you teased back with a grin but then sighed heavily as a frown appeared on your features. “Though I called for you because of another reason. The first part of the plan is over now that the rebellious generals are captured. We have to execute the next part.”
“Are you ready to be a national hero, A-Cheng?” the Yiling Patriarch asked his brother but all of you knew that even though his words were playful, his tone was not. You could tell he was worried for the sect leader just like you. You were throwing Jiang Wanyin to the wolves with this plan but you needed to get back to the palace.
“Have you started spreading the rumors? We need to gain Wanyin a lot of fame by the time Xiao Pei would get back to the Imperial Palace. We need the emperor to hear about the brave and heroic Jiang Wanyin” you turned to Wei Wuxian who nodded but haven’t failed to notice how red the sect leader’s ears were becoming.
“When will your maid arrive back?” the Yiling Patriarch asked curious however, at the sight of your pained expression that oozed regret, he closed his mouth and looked to Lan Wangji who up until now stood silently further behind.
“She was killed after she gave my letter to Xiao Pei” you replied with your hands clenched into fists. “However… I have no idea why but have a strange feeling about it.”
The men stayed silent making you uneasy. Were they suspicious about your old friend? Could they feel the same strange feeling about him? You sighed tiredly which immediately drew their attention, alerting them about your state and so they quickly left you alone to rest. Before Jiang Cheng could stand up, you grabbed his hand making him look back at you.
“Never let your guard down, Wanyin” you said. “Once we arrive to the Imperial Palace, you will have to manage on your own for most of the time.”
“Mnn…” the sect leader nodded and left the room. You had to wait patiently for your time for now. Even if you were suspicious about Xiao Pei’s words and actions, you had to not act rashly. Every word, every action, every expression, you had to control from now on until the second prince and your cousin couldn’t do anything else but die or flee.

Note
hello I just discovered your blog looking for a blog that you wrote for the untamed and that had open applications I have not found if you have published rules or if there are things you do not write I would like to know if there is any rule if you make reactions for several characters and more or less how long would it take to make the requests
I don't really have rules except that I don't write smut or adult x minor stuff. But I will write other stuff and I also write for female x reader, male x reader or general neutral x readers.
If I write reactions then I'm probably only doing 3 or 4 people at once.
As for how long requests take, it depends on the day. I can finish a request in a few days or it can take weeks. Depends on my mental mood actually and unfortunately I'm not in the best mental state (which is why I haven't answered some requests and why they're taking so long. I'm working on the Jiang Cheng x daughter!reader right now)
As for the rule thing, I might write one later on so I can also say if I'm taking request or not
That being said, feel free to request and if I don't want to write something then I will just say so 😊
