A kick isn't too much in the circus? That's fair, that's fair. I suppose if Pomni was kicked, her silly cartoon body would just absorb it like ballistic jelly. So how would post influence Ragatha react if Pomni ABSTRACTED. let's go from minor incident to soul crushing incident. Preferably I gotta know how she'd react mid abstraction. During the abstraction. And when she's In the celler.
Mid Abstraction: As Pomnis actively spiraling out of her mind and her body begins glitching. What does the sad doll do?
During the Abstraction: UH OH your crush has turned into a giant multi eyed monster, Ragatha. Are you going to blame yourself or try and do something about it??
In the celler: Whelp there goes your girlfriend. In a deep dark pit of despair for eternity. I wonder if she's fully aware of her surroundings. Must be like hell to be sitting in a dark pit full of monsters with nothing to do. But I'm sure Ragatha will just move on. Maybe the next newbie who shows up will also be a cute jester girl? Or maybe she'll be dead inside forever. Who knows really. Well besides YOU ya puppet master.
i can't stop giggling . i Very much appreciate this essay dropped in my ask anon it just makes me giggle how we're going to think up of angst for the supposed ' comfort ' portion of the au to pay off all the hurt that's done prior . might as well answer this while working on the next pages
if there's one Noticeable difference between ragatha and her post-influence self , it's that she's more ... proactive , to put it ? do not be fooled by her sad puppy aura , she's in the mode of wanting to Repent for her sins ! which means she'll do Anything to be there for her friends , even if it means she'll go on another fucking Coma while doing so .

mid and during abstraction , ragatha still suffers from a debilitating condition doctors call Cringefail Syndrome , where she still tries to see the light in a situation because what the fuck else is she going to do . so of course she's going to think that she could possibly reverse pomni's abstraction if she tries hard enough .
it's up for debate whether this is going to be successful or not . but hey . i'm sure it'll be fun to imagine ragatha trying to pull pomni out of a mental breakdown without having to speak .
as for the aftermath , it really depends . if this is around the period where ragatha's still trying to ease back into Everything and repairing her bonds with everyone - the first years basically - all of that progress will be snapped away in an instant . around that time , she's hugely depending on pomni emotionally because she's the only thing keeping ragatha from Completely Fucking Losing It . taking away her only anchor will make the entire ship sink down
around the period where everything's fine now and the circus's back together i guess , um ... It'll still be Very bad but it's not the end of the world . ragatha has her friends to support her through it . i mean , kinger coped well with losing his wife , so maybe ragatha could do so too ... even though she and pomni never married . and they're probably awkward about saying they're girlfriends . so they just say they're close frien

Big ol’ summary of the Pale Jester AU
warning, big rambly but I tried to keep it organized. there’s about 2k words of pure raw unedited AU material for the handful of Hollow Knight fans who have been waiting patiently to learn more about PJau >:3c
PK = Pale King PJ = Pale Jester
How PK and PJ’s situation works
PJ has no memories of his former life. If there are any instances that would potentially jog a memory the Nightmare Heart quickly wipes it once his mind wanders from the subject, appearing to give PJ the memory of a goldfish.
PK however is fully aware of his situation. When PJ falls asleep PK wakes up in the dream realm with every memory that PJ has. PJ is not aware of PK but PK is aware of PJ. It’s sortve like having an alter ego when you’re black out drunk, except you forget who you were formally and instead remember the shit you pulled when you were drunk.
PK resents PJ but accepts his situation as atonement for what he has done (ie: Failing Hallownest) In this AU, PK didn’t see his offspring as living things, deciding to believe that their light and life were sucked out of them while they incubated in their eggs in the void. He believes the Hollow Knight is indeed emotionless, but surprisingly couldn’t completely resist getting attached. Will he admit it though? No. He hates that he was so desperate that he wanted to bond with a corpse of his offspring.
Why did NKG take PK under his wing? What was his motivation?
Insurance. The Nightmare Heart persists in the wake of fallen Kingdoms. If every Kingdom were to disappear, then the last Grimm would perish and with him so would the heart. NKG, being an extension of the heart, wishes to prevent that end.
He wishes to rekindle PK’s flame and inspire him to make another Kingdom. However, that is a weighty request that NKG isn’t the best candidate for. PK is withdrawn, cold, and miserable. The last thing he wants to do is build another Hallownest. NKG lacks the finesse of TMG (Troupe master grimm) when it comes to polite society and instead prefers to bully his way through to get what he wants.
How does TMG feel about this whole thing?
I like the idea that Troupe Grimms vary in personality between each reincarnation. Some Grimms are absolutely delighted by the jester’s presence. Some are ambivalent. Some don’t care. Some become quite close ;) to PJ (to the chagrin of PK and endless amusement of NKG). One common feeling between all the Grimms is pity for the jester. Some experience it in brief moments and others feel it every time they see him. However, PJ makes himself useful and is an undeniable asset to the Troupe, so the Grimms know they can depend on PJ, as wild as he is.
NOTE: This AU follows the sad clown trope, not a joker trope. PJ is not psychotic or malicious. He’s silly, causes second hand embarrassment, and has angsty moments when he thinks no one is looking.
In fact, all PJ wants to do is make people laugh (a result of previously causing so much suffering) and love him (he is still a wyrm and craves to be praised.) He is impervious to hate thrown at him and the only words that could actually cut him would have to come from TMG himself. But that hasn’t happened.
He feels horribly sad and alone when he’s by himself, so he constantly seeks to be in someone’s presence even if they actively try to get away. Any attention is attention and he’ll do anything for that attention. it’s good to repeat here that PJ isn’t malicious. He makes a nuisance of himself but he’s a helpful nuisance. So no stealing items, calling names, physically prodding, nope— none of that.
PJ has been with the troupe for 300 years when they come back to Hallownest. How does time work in the wastes? idk. Is the troupe bound by time?? IDK. Up to your interpretation. PK doesn’t say he’s counting but he is (there’s not much to do in his own brain but think and he hates thinking.)
What’s it like in Hallownest?
first off, headaches galore for PJ. He loves to explore the desolate wastes of destroyed Kingdoms. He often finds cool trinkets or gets inspired to write a song if the reasons for Kingdom’s fall is interesting enough. He particularly loves to write tragedies where it was just a connection of unfortunate circumstances. He enjoys chatting with locals or merchants passing by, but he especially loves to sit in the thrones of former monarchs and gods. He gets a kick out of it. A jester, sitting on the throne where Kings and Queens once sat, HA!
However, how that he’s in Hallownest, every new discovery or piece of lore that he uncovers keep slipping his mind. He can’t get a firm grasp of what happened and those bugs with orange eyes deeply unsettle him. If he was a modded character, he’d act like Quirrel and show up at multiple places, pondering and wondering about his surroundings. He would get increasingly distressed as his headaches get worse and that he’s missing an important piece to this kingdom’s downfall that he just can’t keep a grasp on.
How do the inhabitants of Hallownest feel about PJ?
Lets start with the juicy ones first
The White Lady. Depending on your take of her and PK’s former relationship, her reaction to the jester’s presence could either be one of distain or mournful longing. PJ still holds his half of the Kingsoul and it brought him right to her doorstep. She can muse aloud to the jester of she and her husband’s different ways of cowardice. She can openly weep tears of joy and grief at seeing her husband again, but twisted and forgetful. She can thank the jester for giving her closure on how her love passed away. I don’t think that the relationship between PK and WL could ever be what it once was, and maybe it shouldn’t. If you want to write a fic on their relationship, you really should think if either of them would want to.
PJ would sense her sadness or witness her tears and instantly he wants to cheer her up. He tries all his tricks but none of them work. This quietly distresses him along with the migraine gradually increasing its painful pounding inside his head.
PK in this situation, when the jester falls asleep, outwardly emotes for the first time in three centuries. He 100% ugly cries. It’s his wife! She’s alive but she’s slowly wasting away. He falls into a fit of “I should have/I could’ve done something different.” I fully subscribe to the fanon theory that PK has love brain rot for his wife and seeing her face after so long would break him on the spot. Afterward though, he would retreat into himself further and his self deprecation just doubles.
Hornet tries to murder PJ on the spot. PJ is an excellent dodger and is completely flummoxed by this bugs reaction. A hello would’ve been nice! This must be a record time for how quickly he’s pissed someone off. Hornet hates what PJ represents and it makes her shell boil with rage. Here before her is her father that she presumed dead. Whether she knew him or not when she was a child is up to personal interpretation of Hollow Knight’s lore, but she hates PJ now. PJ means that PK didn’t die. He ran away and left her to deal with the tattered remains of a Kingdom that bore the brunt of a battle between two gods. It doesn’t help that PJ’s extreme desire to be loved makes him seek her out whenever he can.
PK wishes PJ would stop. It’s the worst when PJ defaults to dad jokes. He wants to apologize so much to Hornet, but feels like they would be empty words.
Hornet though is the first one to discover a loophole in the Nightmare Heart’s grip on PJ’s memory. If she says something that is true for BOTH PK and PJ, it confuses PJ because what she’s saying is true, but what she means to PJ isn’t. For example
“You were never a father to me” Is true because PJ has never seen Hornet in his life and true to PK because its like she’s disowning him as a guardian. This breaks the jester for a moment and PK wakes up for the first time in centuries. He’s aware as himself and not as PJ. This is indicated by a shift in posture and PJ suddenly going quiet. PJ’s eyes turn tired and his words are soft instead of loud and boisterous.
However, any sort of tangent from that mindfuckery leads to PK being snapped back unconscious and PJ getting an intense stabbing pain in his brain as the Nightmare Heart hastily corrects that mishap. For the first time, the Jester tries to avoid someone who incessantly tries to get attention from him as Hornet finally has a chance to personally chew her father out.
Hollow, assuming its the Godhome ending, sees the Jester and is heavily conflicted. Thats their father but… not. Still recovering from the Radiance’s grip and still in the mindset to be “pure” they don’t know what to think of PJ so they simply don’t.
Ghost is up to their player’s interpretation. When they figure out that this pale king is actually PJ and their father, do they try to beat his ass or do they try to figure out what happened? What motivates your Ghost to interact with PJ?
Well PJ does have the king soul so if Ghost wants the Godhome ending they have to get it eventually.
Also bc PK is absent from his throne room along with his half of the king soul, guess Ghost does all of the White Palace with no reward!
Whats the deal with the name thing?
OK so I love fae lore and fae trickery. In a lot of books there’s this concept of having a True name that is the very representation of your being. Emotional, Spiritual, and Physical. It is all of you condensed into a word. Having a name is a massive weakness but also a grand treasure. It is a gift to let someone know, as they may choose to use it against you. If you give it away, you are fully at that person’s mercy.
I used this concept to allow NKG to be able to change PK into PJ. PK gives up his name in his final moments and NKG takes it and molds it to his desire. If PK ever rekindles his desire to live again, he has to somehow get his name back from NKG (which he would dangle over PK’s head for a bit, but then let him have it as his goal is complete).
WL is the only person who knew PK’s true name when he was alive.
Miscellaneous
Ok so the jester isn’t malicious but except for one outlying scenario. If he is put in a room with another version of himself, so like another pale king (another alternate universe) he will get intensely competitive. The Jester unknowingly pulls on this endless pit of self hate deep within himself and it manifests as tricks, jeers, comebacks, you name it, against this other version of himself. Territorial wyrm instincts don’t help that out either.
He will make full eye contact with that other PK and slap WL’s ass in the throne room.

shannon, howdy! :D this is a challenging set- i really struggle with getting into joseph’s headspace (which... i don’t know why, i too am Stupide..), and i hardly ever listen to songs for alexandra! however, i will give it a Go!!
i am putting this one under a readmore- it turned out a lot longer than i thought it would!
Joseph:
the laughing song- so. this is an odd choice at first glance, and i feel i should explain the context. I sang this song at Stetson’s Choral University when i was wee sophomore and STRUGGLED with the rhythms and jumps. i vividly remember having a meltdown over my lunch at firehouse subs bc I couldn’t wrap my mind around it, and neither could my friend!! So it became a meme between us- whenever choir was kicking our ass we’d just sing the alto line maniacally. This, I feel, is BIG joseph energy. in an alternate universe, all the crusaders despair in the cave against The Sun except for joseph.. who slowly erupts into the laughing song... litch rally madness
people say- this is more of a somber song, and I think maybe a more introspective song for Joseph. I don’t think he ever fully shakes off the survivor’s guilt from Caesar’s death, and Sergio’s death is just. the second whammy you know. The Crusade is really important to Joseph because while yes, it’s a journey to get rid of the thing endangering his whole family, I think there’s also a small part of the journey that is like. atonement? for not being there for caesar or his son (that is also, spiritually, also somewhat caesar’s son..) in their final moments. I think this song is really reflective of that part of Joseph, that’s also haunted by ghosts. the “kill the voice inside your mind/ we don’t need no answers darling/ hold me close and we’ll be fine/ let’s pretend we never parted” section in particular makes me really emotional, thinking of him and Suzi being each other’s tether in the aftermath of both deaths... oUGH :”(
luminescence- it’s hard for me to explain why, but this song makes me think of joseph’s overarching journey with hamon and hermit purple, and the friendships he forged through both. it’s partially because of the lyrics, but also just because of the chords and dynamics? i have no idea how to explain this, but i really feel this is a softer joseph song.
aiutami- sometimes i listen to shows and imagine AUs with them but never actually commit to the idea. the light in the piazza is one such show- i’ve been haunted by the ghost of a caejose au for it for MONTHS. Joseph is also just really reminiscent of Signora Nacarelli.. “without risk, there is no drama; without drama, there is no ‘aiutami’, without asking for help- no Love!!” just really reminds me of younger joseph’s wildly melodramatic ass explaining his schemes. also, “does father cheat on mother? she suspects....does father know that she suspects? He Suspects!” is like hghdhghs. in a world where the joseph cheating subplot is Not with a 20 year old college student but rather with his + suzi’s husband caesar and their wife suzi. like.. it coulda been great, if unrealistic :(
the beauty is (reprise)- of course, the context for this choice isn’t 100% 1 to 1 with the actual context of the song. BUT. imagine, “I reach... like these paintings in the old traditions. Alexandra:
gnothi safton- this is the only song I’ve ever listened to exclusively for Alexandra! I struggled a lot with connecting the dots around her identity, and i remember galaxybraining it in the pitch black of my room at 1 w nothing but this song pushing me on.. Anyhow! this song ties into Alexandra’s fear of stagnation and her desire to explore beyond the palais garnier (which her siblings do NOT understand. they’re like bro we were mad fortunate to be born into this opera house bro.. why would you ever leave? :( and she’s like “it IS powerKNOWLEDGE is power”). She knows costuming is her calling, but there are so many outlets for that and opera costumes are but one niche. Her drive to explore and experiment other styles leads her to La Comédie Italienne, which is where she first encounters Camille and their whole story begins. /(\\\ ///)\
super trouper- Techies get burn-out too!! this song isn’t a 1 to 1 w the interpretation in my head, either, but it’s aight! The first interaction that ever passes between Camille and Alexandra is Camille frantically pouring praises onto Alexandra for her beautiful costume design after a show at LCI, and Alexandra being absolutely swept off of her feet because she’s never had an audience member seek her out to gush over her work! And then!! Camille keeps coming back to see and photograph Alexandra’s costumes! It’s deeply invigorating for Alexandra, and the root of their entire relationship. (also, mamma mia because that’s is Alexandra’s baby- first, it’s a greek musical! second, she works as a costumer and dresser for its debut in london, and then gets carted from tour to tour for it which is a DREAM come true.)
defying gravity- THE cliche theater song...sometimes I think about this song when hammering out the dynamic between alexandra and her siblings and go :( there are no huge blow-outs at the palais that lead to alexandra leaving, she just Does it because it’s what is right for her. this baffles her siblings, who could never imagine leaving the opera house that nurtured them as they grew up. Alexandra has a lot of Elphaba’s determination and drive. the “I hope you’re happy” repetition specifically is :( because the Xydakis kids are super tight knit! They all know that Alexandra branching out and leaving the Palais means they’ll see her much less frequently, but Marika and Panayiotis also respect that it’s what Alexandra needs to do for her own sake.
all i ask of you- Alexandra grew up in the Palais Garnier, with a ballerina mother and a lighting design father. you Cannot tell me that her parents didn’t take them to see Phantom of the Opera at the West End. you cannot tell me alexandra didn’t dream of one day loving like raoul. You cannot tell me that she and Camille didn’t dance to this at their wedding. yeet yeet in the streets fella
sofia- this song has been THE camillexandra (are we outchea making our own ship names? mayhaps) song. is the character of the narrator synonymous to alexandra? not entirely. but ughh this is the Song i’ve always written about them to.

JUST READ YR DR WHO WDMK AU CONCEPT AGAIN AND IM SO EMO THANKS
THANK YOU IT IS CLASSIC ROB MOLLYGLOCK FARE………. also im still just so like. hrmmmmgh. about the fact that the third time caleb sees molly is the last time molly sees him. because Molly Dies Saving Him And Nott. and molly having to hide how used to caleb he is, and having to pretend he’s not as comfortably besotted & happy to see him as he actually is because no spoilers!
i am also so like… into caleb seeing molly again after he died for the first time on molly’s end, and on the one hand there’s excitable gung-ho jester SO excited about the carnival and the mystery and the running around the market planet that they’re doing… but also her shabby chaperone/chauffeur who just can’t stop Staring at him? and molly loves attention/being paid attention to, but it’s so much more than the gawking/ogling he’s gotten in the past, because… well. WE know why. but caleb is much better at hiding that he Knows molly than molly ever was vice versa
(more under the cut because god if i am anything but a big stupid rambling dumbass)
and then caleb pulls some heroics (although of course jester saves the day) and molly is like oh this guy is Cool! (because before that caleb was barely talking (because he was coming to terms with like. Molly Is Here And Oh God I’m Gonna Be In Love With Him/Am Falling In Love With Him n all)
and then the carnival falls apart and molly realizes that jester WASN’T stretching the truth about how caleb here has a time and space traveling machine, and caleb hesitantly (because he’s afraid of maybe doing something he’s not actually Supposed to do) volunteering to try to fix the vortex manipulator gustav gave molly before he was arrested, and molly hops at the chance to get outta here! especially because he has found out that the planet has some people who Knew him before he was molly.
caleb slowly but faithfully works on the vortex manipulator when they have downtime, trying to stop himself from working too slow but also working too fast - adds in some features he can remember molly mentioning/using that aren’t present in the original device he has in his hands - and they adventure through the cosmos.
at some point molly finds his coat in one of the closets (see the first post) and caleb was certain that he’d closed off that room to prevent paradoxes, but molly comes swanning into the console room with the tattered burnt thing, eyes alight with delight and asking hey can i have this? it’s outrageous! and caleb can do nothing but stop and stare and have gears turn in his head, until molly goes so… that’s a no? and caleb sputters for a moment and then finds himself saying ja, ja, it is all yours. it is very… you.
after that, it’s a common sight to find molly stitching and repairing the thing, filling in the holes and rips with exotic fabrics and threads he finds around the universe, making it all his (and such, exactly as it looked in caleb’s memory, but cleaner and more whole). caleb doesn’t say anything except prompted-by-jester compliments on what a great job molly is doing with it, and he wonders.
one of the “episodes” in the jester&molly companionship involves molly being Kidnapped! by the tomb takers. or some kind of thing involving lucien coming back to bite him. and caleb almost tries to just escape (because he’s trying to outrun the hurt he’s going to have when molly leaves him for the “first” time and for “later” when he leaves him by dying) and jester is like NO you fucking NUMBNUTS im gonna CRASH THIS SPACESHIP IF U DO THAT! HE’S DEPENDING ON US and caleb is like oh god of course. christ alive what was i thinking i’m the worst. and he does the right thing, because of course, he wouldn’t be caleb if he didn’t eventually do the right thing, no matter how tempted he is by selfish running
molly doesn’t leave right after that but it’s sort of the beginning of the end of the jester&molly era. there’s some more filler and then one more big adventure where molly gets to be the one who saves the day and there’s like… a moment where one of them is knocked out and the other like. strokes their cheek. U Know. or smth like that that indicates the beginning of the blossoming of Real Concrete Feelings.
i think it might be molly who does that to caleb because i think caleb has been having little moments like that throughout the season? because he already had time to see molly being great - to see molly in love with him (i think it’s kind of easier to fall in love with someone when they’re already in love with you (not in a Bad way - you get what i mean)) - while this is molly first seeing caleb and discovering all the things he likes about him. because molly always falls for caleb faster than caleb falls for molly.
oh ok here’s a sample idea - caleb falls in some fashion, molly runs to him, checks he’s still breathing - but The Plot Timer is still ticking so he consciously stops himself from fretting and mutters to himself “time for that later” and kisses caleb on the forehead So sweetly (u know.) and then runs back to the plot
after that, caleb realizes there’s nothing else he can do for the vortex manipulator, and molly is in the console room sewing or embroidering or darning socks or whatever, and caleb clears his throat and says “mr. mollymauk” and molly visibly perks up, and caleb thinks to himself, so fondly, he has never been able to hide it. and then he puts his fondness away and says “i believe i have repaired gustav’s device.”
and molly brightens, and then his face falls for a moment, and then he makes himself smile again and goes over to caleb, who shows him how to make it work, all while molly leans against him and watches.
one of the filler eps yasha appears! caleb and nott met her at some point before molly - caleb didn’t know she and molly were close until molly’s first meeting. i think she has like… uncontrollable space travelling herself. made of stardust or something. weird scifi stuff (handwave). i like the idea of her slowly starting to shimmer like on her hand or something and knowing that soon she’ll sort of dissolve into glitter like she’s being beamed up in star trek.
anyway we get to see a private conversation between them where molly talks about all these Funny Feelings he’s having and how he’s kind of scared of them and how he doesn’t think caleb would be comfortable travelling with him if he knew about them. he’s never felt like this before, and it’s… it’s weird. he doesn’t want his happiness to hinge so much on someone else. despite everything, he has a very strong instinct to flee responsibility and commitment, and that instinct is at war with his affection for his traveling companions.
so yasha offers to travel with him for awhile when caleb finishes fixing gustav’s device, as long as she can - she thinks caleb and jester get into a lot of very serious fun, and does molly even want to get into that many world-shattering ethical dilemmas a month? molly laughs, says yeah, you got me, i’m kind of thinking about splitting off on my own to… sort all this out in myself. and it wasn’t fun to have a target painted on jester and caleb’s backs because of shit lucien did. that’s not their problem.
he thinks that maybe one thing he’ll try to do - as he stumbles across it, of course, he’s not gonna devote his whole life - is stamping out lucien’s bloodstained and corrupted legacy (this is in part because he spent this season being around caleb and learning that like… you should help fix the past, doesn’t have to be atonement, but you should do what you can where you can with what you have to right wrongs). he’s kind of scared of being alone but he’s met so many people on his travels, helped them and made them smile - and he knows
there is always the tardis, somewhere in the universe, with a dear friend inside.
so anyway, yasha sends molly the coordinates of where she is, and caleb gets the tardis to that place, and the four of them hang out for a day or two, one last hurrah. and then … well, time to go! molly likes goodbyes to be easy, doesn’t like drawing them out. “and i’m sure i’ll you see you again someday,” he says, and caleb gives him a crooked smile and replies, in a rare moment of loose lips, “that is very, very likely.”
and molly brightens because he understands by now caleb’s way of talking around his own knowledge, and this goodbye feels easier because it’s not forever. they have a long way ahead of them! how exciting, to know there’s a future, to know the future has friends in it.
as jester says goodbye to yasha, molly tugs caleb away and thanks him for everything, and caleb thanks him for everything - and there’s that look in caleb’s eyes again, like he’s drinking him in like a man headed into a desert, and molly doesn’t quite understand why caleb has always looked at him that but he know it excites him, emboldens him - emboldens him so much that he darts in and kisses caleb, right on the corner of his mouth, closed and chaste but still a kiss.
then he turns to skip away, saying “i look forward to meeting up with you, mr caleb,” trying to make this not a big deal so caleb doesn’t feel pressured or uncomfortable (kind of cursing himself for being an impulsive bastard when he shouldn’t have been), when caleb catches his wrist or arm or whatever, and he says “you too, mr mollymauk,” and he leans in and kisses molly on the cheek. and molly’s giddy and caleb’s a little embarrassed and they’re both just standing there, smiling a little stupidly and just… excited about this Thing between them.
and then jester’s hollering KISS! KISS! KISS! DO A REAL KISS!!!!!! WITH TONGUE!!!!!!!!!!!! and molly’s hollering back YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR A SHOW and caleb’s laughing softly, and oh, he’ll miss this, but there’s so much he knows he hasn’t seen yet, and right now he feels like he can cope with the grief always hanging over him.

Der Titel bedeutet Songs von Gurre, die sich auf Gurre Schloss in Dänemark, Szene des mittelalterlichen Liebestragödie (bezogen in Jacobsens Gedichte) rund um die dänische nationale Legende von der Liebe des dänischen Königs Valdemar Atterdag(Valdemar IV, 1320-1375, Waldemar von Schönberg geschrieben) für seine Geliebte Tove, und ihre anschließende Ermordung von Waldemars neidisch Königin Helvig (eine Legende , die historisch ist wahrscheinlich mit seinem Vorfahren verbunden Valdemar I ). Zusammensetzung Im Jahr 1900 begann Schönberg das Werk als Komponieren Liederzyklus für Sopran , Tenor und Klavier für einen Wettbewerb des Wiener Tonkünstler-Verein (Wien Komponistenbund) ausgeführt werden . Es wurde in einem üppigen, spätromantischen Stil stark beeinflusst durch schriftliche Richard Wagner . Während Teile eins und zwei in der Konzeption und Ausführung deutlich Wagnerianer sind, bietet Teil drei die abgespeckte Orchestertexturen und kaleidoskopischen Verschiebungen zwischen kleinen Gruppen von Mahler favorisierten Instrumente in seinen späteren Sinfonien. In Des Sommerwindes wilde Jagd, Schönberg führte auch die erste Verwendung von Sprechgesang (oder Sprechstimme), eine Technik würde er ausführlicher in erkunden Pierrot Lunaire von 1912. [2] Die Orchestrierung wurde schließlich im November abgeschlossen 1911. [3] Premieren Franz Schreker dirigierte die Uraufführung des Werkes in Wien am 23. Februar 1913. So watching Critical Role and with a guest star Mica Burton who played as Reani an aasimar druid, for me who like to add my own insight in an AU where ‘If I was a nerdy ass voice actor’ and I was playing Alexander Flixotide a human artificer in the Wildemount campaign. What sort of a relationship would I have with Reani.
Both Alexander and Reani are both considered to be Lawful Good (Alexander’s Background is City Watch so he would assume she is from a similar background too.) Now because Alexander is an adventurer (everyone is out of his jurisdiction) but he would do the right thing.
I for one would like to question this sweet little angel’s moral compass, after all Alexander knows that the world isn’t as “black and white” as he thinks it is as there is what Caleb says is a grey area (or in my case a grey scale) so I would like to know where Reani’s grey begins. “That poor girl can only see black and white but not khaki.”
Nott/Veth said her bit what if you are stealing a loaf of bread (like in Les Miserable), “I got robbed in Humpledook... should I ‘kill’ those kids who stole my money? (No! sure, they should’ve known better but those kids were desperate!)” Would you’ve killed those kids?

(Sure Alexander wouldn’t be the sort of person who would steal something in a village/town/city... he would ONLY steal something if there is a good cause/reason behind his actions, eventhough he know it’s wrong to take things that don’t belong to him.) My Imput would be “But Reani, the world isn’t as black and white as you think it is, bad people could do good things as a ‘front’ there has to be rhyme or reason.”
Some people can be cheeky/naughty so they have the tendency to misbehave. Would you kill someone who would pull a harmless prank?
“I consider myself as a ‘good’ person but I am no saint, good people can make bad decisions too. ‘The road to ruin can be paved with good intentions’ would you ‘kill’ someone who made mistakes?
Would you ‘kill’ someone who is willing to atone for their sins?
“My kid brother was killed by accident by a group of mercenaries, should I have the right to ‘kill’ them, for my justice? or am I killing them out of vengeance? (I would be ready/willing to forgive them if they owned up it in a humble manner... and not in a *nyah nyah* I killed your brother, I killed your brother! *nyah nyah*)
Alexander’s relationship with Reani would be an interesting one indeed... Eventhough Reani is friendly her “Judge, Jury and Executioner” outlook in life is a danger onto herself as her angel guide Samual “says so” but with Alexander on the other hand, you need to win his trust he can’t just automatically pick a side as he needs to hear both sides of the same story with his “Investigator, Detective and Lawyer (both prosecution and defence)” but it’s his own conscience/inner voice that guides him to make sure “everything makes sense, things need to add up, see the bigger picture.”
