This says it all. Speaking up and calling out BS is in our DNA, and I would not have it any other way. I often find people who say that me and many of my Jerz/NY cohorts are "mean" have just never encountered honesty in their lives.

Honesty is always better than bullshit.

Hurting me with the truth is always better than misleading me with a lie.

Speaking up is always, ALWAYS better than complacency.

Standing up for yourself, and those who can't stand up for themselves is never an option.

There is a difference between being nice and being kind. I've never aimed to be "nice." I've never raised the children in my family to be "nice." I've raised them to be kind but take no shit and always stand up for what you know is right. PERIOD.

We're not for everyone, and we don't care... because we don't want to be.

(But I disagree w/ Jojo... It's not pronounced "jerz," it's "jer-Z" lol sorry, we always state our opinions. She'd respect that.)

rugby!abby having an IMPORTANT home game and while she’s at pre-game warm up, she gets a text from ellie that just says “good luck and ur welcome ;))))” and when abby clicks on it she finds a video ellie took of you and dina getting ready for the game. ellie is sitting on the couch while you and dina flutter around the apartment. the school colors are red and white and while abby’s home game jersey is a white one with red details, you’re wearing her red away-game one with a white tennis skirt underneath it. her jersey fits differently on you because she’s bulked but she also likes them to not be too tight on her [much to your disappointment]. abby is clutching her phone up to her face as she watches you dance to dina’s pregame playlist, singing into whatever you have in your hand at the moment. the video is almost over when abby hears ellie say behind the camera, “everyone say good luck to abby!!” you spin around — your skirt flares out making abby’s breath catch — and pose for the video, hands up and hip out “good luck to my beautiful and scary talented girlfriennnnnndddd” ellie and dina are laughing as you beam in response to your very adorable pda. the video ends.

abby’s smile is so wide it’s hurting, and one of her teammates makes a joke but abby shrugs it off, texting ellie “thanks for that haha” and texting you “you’re so fucking cute! i love you and i’ll see ya soon” before locking her phone for the pregame huddle

10 moments from the new jersey rats that i think about a lot (in no specific order):

everytime bing and boom argue. specifically that one time they brought up stacey and boom was like “oH yOu reAllY wAnNa tAlK abOuT stAcEy” like yea i do wanna talk abt her in explicit detail so spill‼️

when the intern made the shot BOTH. TIMES. if they have no fans i’m dead.

jean moving hair from the interns face. ahem:

bing ordering strictly girly drinks (bc they’re better)

“yes that is a ukulele. objectively the most embarrassing instrument that anyone could ever play” *me, holding my pink ukulele covered in dinosaur stickers* alright, no need to be a bitch about it. (/jjjjj and i mean yea true but hush)

when jeans car got towed. nothing goes right in this man’s life istg.
