if nickelodeon weren't cowards we could've had eddie and jerome bonding over complicated relationships with shitty dads who are trying but will never be able to make up for a life time of Issues

God they TANTALIZED us with that. The Jerome/Eddie friendship was SO CLOSE to truly blossoming, especially right at the end of season 2. And like, the show does make the connection with the two of them and their daddy issues. Mara writes about both of them in her article and makes parallels. Additionally, the two of them together go to Mr. Sweet to get Mara reinstated. Eddie also tells Jerome that Joy entered herself in the writing competition instead of Mara, and together they: 1) Ensure Mara gets credit for the father/son article, 2) Clear up the Jack Jackal stuff and reveal that Mara is Jack Jackal but throw Joy under the bus for writing the Nina article, 3) Reveal that Joy didn't enter Mara in the competition, and 4) See to it that Mara does get entered. And like, they accomplish all this scarily quickly and scarily efficiently. If they'd ever truly combined their powers, they could've been a formidable team. They could've accomplished a lot of good together, or they could have committed many crimes and evils. Like those boys did not hesitate to be VERY cold to Joy on Mara's behalf, they could've been a pretty intimidating and powerful team if they'd ever wanted to or tried. But unfortunately they were both too stupid.

So like as you were saying, yes I so wish they would've expanded upon their friendship, especially with their complicated relationships with their dads being the basis of it. Like, after the truth about Jerome's dad comes out Eddie is the first one to reach out to him and be like "hey we would've been cool with it." And when the truth about Eddie's dad comes out Jerome doesn't laugh along with most everyone else, he looks surprised and a little bit mortified, like he knows what that sort of feeling is like. And there were so many glimpses into a potential wonderful and entertaining friendship. Eddie makes Jerome violently ill via creamed carrots and then underpays him at Donkey Day, they make the dance bet which Jerome believes will make Eddie look like a fool but ends up backfiring on him instead, and Eddie sees Jerome getting kidnapped by Rufus and eventually ends up inadvertently alerting Sibuna to the problem and helping him get rescued. Jerome confronts Eddie about the letter business at the beginning of S3 [which was unfortunately probably their last major interaction :( ]. And Eddie fuckin calls him JERRY, repeatedly lol. Also, my favorite Eddie/Jerome scene: when Jerome asks Eddie for French notes, and Eddie hands him a sandwich. (And also in this scene when Jerome encourages Eddie to open up to him and tell him what's bothering him and Eddie actually DOES!!)

Not to mention both are shockingly involved in the other's relationship: Jerome pairs Eddie and Patricia for Donkey Day and makes them be tied together for a full day and likely providing a big assist in their sparking feelings for one another, he teases him for having a crush at the dance, he and Alfie make the dance bet with him, he listens to Eddie's concerns after their first date and offers him relationship advice (which he is NOT qualified to give lol), and Eddie even tells him how deep his feelings are and that he's never felt like that about a girl before, which Jerome does not understand but accepts. Also when he got stood up by Patricia, Jerome was like "wasn't she supposed to meet you already?", implying that Eddie told him about this previously and that they talk about this kind of stuff together. In season 2, Jerome might be the one he talks about his Patricia feelings/drama the most? Although that's debatable, as he does discuss them with Mara and Joy as well. Additionally, Jerome often laments about his girl problems with Mara to Eddie, he points out to Mara that Jerome very clearly treats Mara better than the rest of them (meaning he's been noticing and observing this behavior all school year to the point where it's painfully obvious to him), and pushes Mara into accepting her feelings for Jerome. In a way, neither of their relationships might happen without the help of the other.

I was so sad when they just didn't have much of a friendship in season 3, especially with all the buildup and potential at the end of season 2. They could've been everything. We truly could've had it all. But alas, we were robbed.

By all accounts, Jerome could not be trusted. Sure, he knew about Sibuna, Rufus, and Victor, but according to Alfie, he had largely put that past him. If he noticed Alfie was sneaking off at night, he no longer paid any heed. He wasn't interested in whatever crazy shenanigans the crazy American upstairs and the bookworm next door were cooking up.

After another nerve-racking night in the tunnels, Nina and the other Sibuna girls quickly made their way upstairs, avoiding Victor seamlessly. Fabian and Alfe were, of course; right outside the kitchen, so it was relatively easy to avoid Victor. Alas, you had taken your sweet time, deciding on making tea to calm your nerves. Trudy kept a box of Sleepy Time tea in the cupboard for you, and if Victor caught you down here in the past, he was stern, but ultimately would send you up to your room with a warning and a reminder to drink it before bed instead of in the middle of the night. Not anymore. Victor hardly had sympathy to begin with, but ever since the exhibition started, Victor was all too quick to lay down punishments and a toothbrush. He was shorter in temperament than ever. And that is exactly why you ran into Jerome and Alfie's room when you heard Victor's door opening.

Alfie was fast asleep already, but Jerome's eyes shot open as you flew through their door, shutting it quietly despite your haste. He sat up, brows raised, before sitting on the edge of his bed.

"A little late for a visit," he quipped, voice laced with sleep. His blue eyes blinked slowly at you, waiting for an answer.

"I made some tea, and Victor's on the prowl."

He looked over to Alfie before slowly patting the bed beside him. Even in his waking state, he could see how shaken you were. You sat down next to him, his hand reaching for your thermos to sit on his nightstand.

Any scheme or remark in his mind vanished when you laid your head on his shoulder, breathing in the hint of vanilla he seemed to have. Your eyes fluttered shut, grateful that whatever it was you had with Jerome allowed for small kindness that he gave no one else.

30 minutes passed, your half-asleep mind reminding you that you couldn't sleep here. Jerome had shuffled a bit but was otherwise in the same half asleep stats as you.

"Victor's back in his office," he whispered. You answered with a yawn and possibly an affirming word. You picked your thermos up, the tea lukewarm by now, no doubt.

You stared at him for a moment before gently touching your lips to his forehead, backing away slowly.

"Good night, Jerome. Thank you." Your voice was soft, barely a whisper. The door opened quietly, and you disappeared into the hallway.

What Y/A Book Series I Think Each Anubis House Resident Was a Fan Of

This is exactly what it sounds like. All the Y/A (and Y/A adjacent) book series from our childhoods… or at least my childhood.

Nina Martin: Harry Potter. Obviously. She basically tells two minutes into the pilot she’s into Harry Potter. Sweet girl is a Gryffindor and she’s so excited that her tie looks like the Gryffindor tie.

Fabian Rutter: He thinks he’s above Y/A fiction, but he knows everything about Twilight through Joy and Amber, and is secretly very intrigued with the lore.

Amber Millington: Much like with Nina, we find out pretty quickly she’s a Twilight girlie— specifically a Jacob stan. The culture war in that house between her and Joy pre-canon was probably insane, and I wish we could have witnessed it.

Patricia Williamson: Idc what you people say, Patricia was a weird girl™ and it showed. She probably liked Twilight through osmosis, and she definitely ate up The Hunger Games, but I think she was a closet Warrior Cats girl. Liked them enough to read them religiously, but not enough to play Warriors on the playground.

Alfie Lewis: Now, he was a Warrior Cats kid. And he definitely ate up The Maze Runner and Percy Jackson.

Jerome Clarke: He was definitely a Percy Jackson kid. Absent father? Dude definitely imagined himself as a Demigod, and that his dad was secretly Zeus or something.

Mara Jaffray: The Hunger Games, and she detested when anyone made it all about the love triangle, because “its a poignant social commentary about society” (and she’d be right).

Joy Mercer: As we already established, TWILIGHT!! She was an Edward Cullen FANATIC, and she definitely also got super into Harry Potter after finding out Robert Pattinson was in the fourth movie. It would genuinely not surprise me if the beef she and Amber had in S2 had less to do with Nina, and more to do with the Jacob vs Edward discourse.

Eddie Miller: This dude loved Percy Jackson for all the same reasons Jerome did, except he actually did turn out to be a demigod. Bro is a Percy variant, and we love him for it. Also, he definitely likes Harry Potter a lot, and he used to pretend like his dad was off being the headmaster of Hogwarts when he was a kid.

KT Rush: She was not like other girls and was obsessed with The Lunar Chronicles. As she should, these books were based. She also was really into the Divergent series, but HATED the movies.

Willow Jenks: This is THE Warrior Cats girl of all time. She definitely has a fan clan, and has secretly given all her housemates warriorsonas. She would play it on the playground by herself, and would just meow at anyone who made fun of her. She believes ThunderClan and RiverClan should share Sunningrocks.

Mick Campbell: He was not into reading at all, but he does like the Harry Potter movies!!

Nina being terrified of her Hades powers

she has a fear of skulls and doesnt like ghosts, for a long time she’s been burying her powers on the inside so she doesn’t really understand them

they’re so underutilized that whenever something does happen, it comes out in bursts, it’s scary and sudden and most of season 1 is her self-acceptance as a child of Hades

season 2 is mainly her trying to figure out a daily life now that she’s trying to embrace/control her powers

Fabian as a child of Athena is nothing new around school. though he’s not the head of his cabin, that’s Mara, he’s fine with it, she’s more of a drill sergeant than him anyway.

Fabian being very knowledgeable about not just their gods, but also different mythology in general. he likes to branch out in learning.

he also can’t help a mystery, he loves solving things, riddles or puzzles, once he’s in there’s no getting him out

while they all read/speak Ancient Greek, he does it better than all of them combined

he also has an astronomy passion

he secretly wants to know about the monsters that dwell in america, all he’s ever seen from the god world are a few woodland nymphs and the occasional satyrs.

he’s met his mother once in his life. unlike their american counterparts, they can’t always head off to new york city once a year to visit mount olympus.

their principal and caretakers have told them they’re welcome to it one day, they would be guided by a satyr for the journey. but they always warn them that there are monsters flooding the US and how dangerous it could be.

no one’s taken them up on the offer.

Amber, daughter of Aphrodite, can be very influential

while not possessing the power of charmspeak, people tend to get very relaxed and lightheaded around her. her easygoing and charming personality seem to make her easy to talk to and have a good time with.

everyone comes to her for dating advice, the same with makeup tips or a shoulder to cry on

Amber is very empathetic to people’s emotions, especially when it comes to love or heartache, she understands how the person feels on a deeper level

Patricia Williamson, daughter of Ares, and head of her cabin during the summer (though against her will)

she’s a born fighter and doesn’t stop when she want to know something or someone’s been wronged

does not get along well with people

her most recent choice of weapon: liquids.

specifically dumping various liquids atop peoples heads for any misdeeds or annoyances they caused her

but she can also make a decent weapon out of anything, from a cell phone to a hair clip to one of Amber’s high heeled shoes

she loves finding old weapons from the years that have been stashed under the house in the tunnels

Alfie Lewis and Jerome Clarke, sons of Hermes and the resident pranksters on campus

they’re also the most annoying on campus

Alfie is also an aspiring magician and the fastest runner in the academy, sprinting like he has wings on his feet (eh?)

he also possess a great memory, only fails to use it in classes. mainly it’s for remembering how to mix certain chemicals together for the smelliest stink bomb one could imagine.

his geography knowledge is not particularly known, but Hermes was also the god of travelers, and Alfie seems to be able to know about their little globe more than anyone they’ve met. even more than the Athena kids. he never gets lost, always knows where to go and which road to take.

it surprises no one that his pickpocketing skills improved upon meeting his brother

Jerome Clarke has been at this school since he was five years old, having been sent away from home and always regretting leaving behind his little sister Poppy (also a child of Hermes)

Jerome and his sister were the result of a relationship between their father, John Clarke and the god Hermes.

Their stepmother, Joan, was nice but a bit flighty. once John’s crimes caught up to him, suddenly his children felt they were all alone. Joan sent Jerome to boarding school, one they talked about once he’d be older but she decided to get it ahead of time. it wasn’t meant as something negative, at least in her eyes, but she saw the bad influence Jerome would become to Poppy and decided she’d try to raise the girl away from the idea of gods.

it was a useless attempt really. once Poppy would reach the age of thirteen, she’d be in trouble.

England doesn’t have much in unprotected half-bloods. so they don’t have many monsters either. except for a few spread out, and with an unprotected daughter of Hermes, she wouldn’t make it 24 hours.

Jerome himself is the fastest pickpocket there is.

he’s got the mind for growing commerce and how to manipulate it

he’s the most cunning person in the house

the best liar, though ironically because of this, no one believes him when he says the truth

summary: Jerome manipulates you to breaking up with your boyfriend so you can be with him instead.

The moment you arrived at Anubis House with your two suitcases and a lovely personality, Jerome knew he needed to make you his.

But now, one year later, you were still with Mr. Golden Boy Fabian Rutter. Jerome was once again left in the dust.

But this time, Jerome had a plan.

"Fabian, would you like to have lunch on the lawn with me today?" you asked, grabbing a piece of fruit from the bowl in the middle of the table.

You sat back down in your seat next to Amber while looking expectantly at Fabian, your boyfriend.

"Uh, well, actually I'm taking Nina to visit my cousin in the city today, but maybe we could catch up at dinner?" he suggested with a grimace.

You shot a quick glare in Nina's direction as she started at her plate, not wanting to get between you and your boyfriend.

"Oh, that's totally fine. No worries," you shrugged, pretending as if you hadn't cared much in the first place.

"(Y/n), I—"

"I have to grab my bag," you sighed, getting up from the table and walking away, fruit still in-hand.

Jerome watched gleefully, a sly grin plastered on his face as he watched the two of you splinter your relationship even more.

As Jerome approached you sitting alone on the lawn, he could only think of how beautiful you looked. You also looked exceptionally lonely. He could see it all: every emotion you masked, every Nina and Fabian situation you pretended to ignore. He would make it all better.

"Anyone else sitting here?" you heard Jerome ask. Although you never really talked, you didn't have anything against him so you shook your head.

You watched as he crisscrossed his long legs on your picnic blanket next to you and helped himself to some grapes from your lunch bag.

"Why so sad? You and mister dream boy on the rocks?" Jerome teased, lightly nudging your arm.

You shook your head in disagreement then looked at the ground, silent. You didn't want Jerome knowing how deeply Fabian and Nina's bond had affected you.

Unfortunately for you, Jerome decided to place a hand on your chin and tilt your head up to face his. He immediately noticed the tears glimmering in your eyes.

"Are you seriously crying over that idiot?" Jerome laughs, almost cruelly.

"I'm only crying because I keep dealing with this. Every single time, it's something with Nina and I get pushed aside. What's so special about her anyway?"

"Let me tell you the truth. Fabian is in love with Nina and he doesn't realize the true prize in front of him is you," Jerome whispered, leaning closer and cupping your face with one hand.

When Jerome looked into your eyes, you felt something you’d been lacking with Fabian for a long time: romance, a connection… love.

When Jerome leaned in, lips meeting yours, you felt a burst of fireworks inside your chest. Everything about it felt right, despite the fact that you were still in a committed relationship.

“Fabian is nothing but a lying scumbag who thinks it’s okay to lie to you and push you around. He preys on your sweetness and gullibility. I love you more and I always will,” Jerome insisted after he pulled away from your lips.

The way he phrased it almost made you think those traits were ones you held and they made you weak. You knew he was only looking out for you.

“We decided on a time to meet for a dinner picnic later, so I’ll resolve things then,” you stated to Jerome, who only nodded.

It was too bad you didn’t know that Jerome had taken your flip phone and changed Fabian’s phone number.

It was an hour past the time you and Fabian had arranged and you were furious to say the least. You left him at least five calls and numerous texts, and still no response.

You stormed into Anubis house alone, tear tracks down your face and a soiled picnic blanket and basket full of food in your hands.

You were about to climb the stairs to your room when you heard talking and a burst of laughter coming from the kitchen area.

You stormed into the room, realizing it was the time your house normally sat down for dinner. Everyone was there. And so was Fabian, coincidentally seated at the dining table right next to Nina.

“I can’t believe you!” you screamed, storming through the doorway to stand in front of Fabian and Nina.

“You have the nerve to ignore me and show up here, sitting next to her? I am tired of you treating me like this!” you huffed, dropping the picnic basket onto the kitchen counter.

You had borrowed the picnic basket from Trudy, along with spending the entire afternoon making sandwiches and finger foods in a pitiful attempt to win back your boyfriend’s attention.

“(y/n), please—“ Fabian began, standing up in his seat. He had a conflicted but also confused look on his face. You wanted to slap him across the face.

“No, I’m done! I’ve given you multiple opportunities and you still chose Nina at every turn! I’m done letting you break my heart!” you yelled, voice cracking.

“B-but (y/n), I love you!” Fabian cried, attempting to take a step towards you.

Jerome watched gleefully at the soap opera unfolding in front of him, until he was grabbed by the arm.

“Well that’s too bad, because I’m in love with Jerome! He actually cares about me and has time for me. Plus, he’s an amazing kisser,” you stated, hand clutching Jerome’s upper arm.

You were not prepared for the reactions that erupted from various spots in the kitchen and living room. Patricia’s eyes grew wide as she attempted to hold back a laugh. Alfie stared at Jerome, wondering why his best friends hadn’t informed him that he was now kissing the girl he’d always fantasized about. Nina looked like she was about to cry, and tears were clouding Fabian’s eyes as his jaw dropped.

“I never want to talk to you again, Fabian. Jerome, let’s go,” you said, grinning and pulling him with you towards the stairs. As you led him up the stairs, Jerome smiled to himself. He was fully satisfied with what had just resulted through his own manipulations.

“That’s my girl,” Jerome cheered as you both entered your room, “now we can be together forever.”

You’d been having a bad day. Sweet had given you detention for being late which made that your third detention of the week, you had gotten into an argument with your father who wasn’t around at all, and being cursed by Senkarah definitely wasn’t helping.

You had crept downstairs after lights out (thankfully not being caught by Victor and having to clean the toilets) to make some night tea so you could hopefully get some sleep. You were zoned out while the tea was heating and suddenly you felt a light tap on your shoulder.

“Wh-“

You felt a hand cover your mouth to stop you from yelling.

“Shh, you’re gonna wake up the whole house Y/L/N”

You knew the voice, it was a voice you’d never forget, well that and the fact that only one person really called you by your last name.

“Jerome, seriously? Why the hell are you up? It’s late.”

“I could ask you the same thing.”

“Well, I asked you first.”

“I couldn’t sleep. I studying for our french test”

You turned around and finally saw him. He looked ethereal in a way. The soft white glow from the moon made him look like an angel. He was wearing a white Henley and plaid pjs. His hair was an absolute mess but he still looked adorable.

He put his arms around you loosely

“Now your turn. Why are you up?”

You couldn’t tell him why you were up as much as you wanted to at least the real reason you weren’t up

“Nothing.”

You smiled softly at him, eyes pleading to not ask anymore question about it

“What are you making in the microwave?”

“Tea”

He looked like you’d just murdered his dog. In all honesty you were way too lazy to properly heat up the tea and besides it would taste just as fine you thought

“You did not just make tea in the microwave! That’s almost wait no is disrespectful”

Ok jeez did not think microwaving yea would be a bad thing-

“Ok well I don’t have the energy to make tea”

Jerome saw that you weren’t joking for the first time he looked closely at you. He could see the bags under your eyes and…were those tear stains? “Hey, w-what’s wrong? Do you wanna talk about it”

Him saying that broke the dam inside of you “No I don’t. Can you just hold me please?”

He didn’t respond instead he wrapped his long arms around you and put his chin on top of your head kissing you. “Do you wanna go to my room you can sleep in there for the night?”

You broke out of the hug and looked at him to see he was being serious “Yeah. Thanks”

He took your hand forgetting about the tea and let you into your room. You knew that Alfie and the gang were out into the tunnels but you bailed since you weren’t feeling well so it was just your and Jerome. He laid down first and then instructed you to lay down as well and you did as you were told too tired to make a sarcastic remake about not wanting to listen to what he says. He pulled you into a warm hug and kissed your forehead.

Whispering “Goodnight Y/N” and you whispered back “Goodnight Jer” but very softly he added something. Something you didn’t miss “I love you Y/N Y/L/N” He had thought you were asleep but was shocked when you sleepily kissed his chest and said “I love you Jerome Clarke”

He smiled at you hearing your breaths even out and eventually fell asleep with a small smile on his face as well knowing you were safe in his arms.

Early Hours | Jerome Clarke | House of Anubis

The door seeming creaked open louder in the night-time than it did during the day, and (Y/N) cursed it for doing so. The door alone could wake half the house, including Victor which was never good. Her hands still smelled like bleach from the last time she had to scrub the bathrooms with a toothbrush for breaking curfew. She had taken the blame for both her and Jerome as he had already annoyed Victor earlier that day.

She shut the door behind her once she was inside the room, and started to creep over to her boyfriends bed and gently shook him awake. “Jerome.”

Jerome hummed as he was rocked back and forth, the slumber falling from him as he saw his girlfriend before him, looking slightly panicked. “What happened.”

“Nothing. Your door is loud, I thought it woke Victor,” she said, whispering as to not wake Alfie up. For someone so energetic, he hated being woken up. “I brought your phone back.”

“Why didn't you keep it till morning?”

“I don't have the right charger, and you can't have a dead phone.” she reasoned, slipping the phone onto the bedside table after plugging it in. “I better be going before Victor wakes up.”

Jerome looked over to the clock; 4:12 am, it wasn't long before Victor woke up for one of his late-night patrols of the house. “You have three minutes. You may as well stay here.” He shuffled over, trying to stay quiet as he made room for (Y/N) in the small bed. 

“Are you sure.”

He rolled his eyes. “Yes, now get in. I’m tired.”

And so she complied, crawling into the warm bed next to Jerome. (Y/N) had realised how tired she was until her head hit the pillow, falling asleep within seconds. Jerome only quietly laughed at the girl before he also slept once again. It was only when Alfie woke them in the morning did the pair realise she had stayed the entire night, and not just whilst Victor was looking out for students out fo their rooms.

can’t sleep~ jerome clarke

You had been tossing and turning in bed all night. The stress from the recent events in the tunnel and the race for the mask were starting to get to you. The worst part about all of it was that you had to keep it from your boyfriend. You knew that sibuna didn’t want anyone else getting involved because senkarah had cursed all of them. You also knew that if you did tell Jerome he would freak out and not let you out of his sight in fear that you would get hurt or worse and he would lose the one thing that could always put a smile on his face. All of these thoughts were running through your mind and causing the lack of sleep that was making you toss and turn. You knew that you wouldn’t be able to sleep in your current bed so you decided you would upgrade.

You snuck down the hall and pass Victor’s office. As you made your way down the stairs you tried not to make any sound. When you finally reached the door of the two boys you loved most you were relieved that you had not been caught and forced to clean the whole house with a toothbrush.

You crept in and over to your boyfriends bed, while simultaneously trying not to wake your best friend who was sleeping in the bed across the room. When you reached Jerome you lightly tapped his cheek over and over as you slightly whispered “Jerome”.

Finally his eyes started to open and he was frightened at first but immediately relaxed when he saw your face.

“y/n what’s wrong?” he asked immediately assuming the worst. “oh no nothing bad i promise. I just couldn’t sleep.” you explained with a small smile. “oh well we can’t have that can we.” he said with a small smirk. “come on hop in.”

He moved over slightly to make room for his girlfriend. As soon as you was laying down in his bed he started to cuddle into you, spooning you from behind and holding on tight. A small smile painted on your face as all your stress and worries started to disappear as he held you. You started to feel sleepy as Jerome kissed your forehead gently. “goodnight love.” was the last thing you heard before you drifted off to sleep.

You were awoken by the sun shining into the room. You went to stretch but couldn’t as you realized that you were still in Jerome’s room and he still had a very strong grip around your waist, cuddling into you.

I like to imagine that Jerome's probably told him a fair bit about his mom and his feelings about her, and obviously none of them are good, which already colors Alfie's opinion about her. I also like to imagine that Alfie's met her over video chat before, and I'm gonna say he met her in person, probably only once though. I can see in the early years of their friendship, Alfie goes to Jerome's house for like spring break or something and meets his mom [and somehow misses Poppy completely?? Because Alfie had no idea she existed. But this is a story for another post]. And Alfie, a very positive guy, over the course of however many days, slowly grows incredibly irritated by her and starts to hate her. These boys love to joke and prank so on one of the first days Alfie pulls a prank on his mom, and she goes BALLISTIC. And she yells at Jerome about it just as much or even more than Alfie, even though it was Alfie's idea, and this rubs Alfie the wrong way. I think after witnessing her just treating Jerome terribly over the week it would just piss Alfie off more and more. She also probably does something really petty to Alfie and Alfie keeps planning on doing petty things back. But when they get back to school he only complains about the little things ("And her cooking - terrible! I think she was trying to poison me") because complaining about the big things would just upset Jerome too much. I like to imagine whenever she gets mentioned he just scoffs and rolls his eyes. And also he's for sure drawn the classic mustache and unibrow and devil horns on a picture of her face at least once

That’s right, folks, Francis Magee aka Victor Rodenmaar Jr. was on Game of Thrones, he played Yoren in S1-S2, a brother of the Night’s Watch and a recruiter for them as well. She laughs him off very easily and even tries to use the other followers that the new Septon, the High Sparrow, has accumulated to her own gains by getting rid of her sons new wife, Margaery Tyrell, by having her brother Loras arrested for sleeping with men.

By S6 it gets progressively worse, not only did Cersei get what she wanted, her son’s wife, Margaery, gets taken away as well because she knew her brother was involved with men and ‘did not inform the church of these indiscretions’ so she has also sinned. But then Cersei gets a taste of her own medicine and she gets imprisoned too as Lancel has told the High Sparrow everything and he even gets this fucking carving on his forehead.

Cersei gets her revenge in a big way if you’ve seen the show.
