The library being both free and open to the public made it one of Jerico's favorite places to waste time. He could stay warm and dry (and out of his sister's hair) and as long as they didn't get too loud, he could hang out with friends there, too.

"I was wondering if you were ever gonna show up," finally catching sight of Dante, Jerico gave him a playful smirk. "Though while I was waiting, I found some cool old medical journals. You wanna see?"

Sloane Sato: Can't put a naughty kitty in here without drawing a good boi.  My inugami Federal Marshal, WitSec Officer, Jax's babysitter (also Jerico's but as long as Kass and Sloane are around the worst thing that happens is he does parkour on the ships in the bay and tries to kill his brother at home), and oh... may or may not be Inugami Royalty with a plan for revenge (yay backstory)

Second Row:

Captain Diedre 'BOUDICCA' O'Hara, the only woman in this piece, guess what people!  Meet Mama Deathless, the original holder of the Deathless Gene, though hers does work a bit differently (it mutated from her to what we now know), mother of Ryder's Twins but hey they didn't stick together, one-night stand kinda thing, not like Arro cared (Ask Isabella Falcon on how that works) and the second lovely lady Mayla and Leslie are both with.  The girls gotta stick together ya know.

Arronax Ryder: No idea what that tiny little grin is about.  Maybe Ryder's doing something in the distance who knows.  But have some Arronax.

Third Row:

Jax Wylder (Kinda Old Art): Older brother (yes He's the older brother folks!) of Jerico.  Entirely human but... hey look at these idgits and how they act.  They have to be related right?

Arronax: Just some practice for Arro's face cause he's hard as hell to draw ok?

Xavier 'CAINE' Gaumond: Umm... I just wanted to draw Caine making an angry face?

Colton Black: I had one goal with this, properly get a drawing of Colton's .44 done.  It's based off a Griswold Frame so that's the reference I used.

Caine: Cause if he's gunna be screaming like that let's get some nice Caine in there too.

Jerico, Kassian, Sloane:  I was experimenting with getting a chibi style I liked.  Found it!  I decided to give Sloane puppy ears and tail and then Cat said I should give Jerico a cat tail and panther ears.  Summing this up... Jerico is a very bad kitty and got put in timeout, and Sloane was a good boi and got taiyaki which is his favorite treat.  Kass is being spiteful and loving on Sloane cause bad kitty's don't get pets.

Bottom Row:

Addu (OLD ART): Ok this has been sitting around my damn computer for a while but it's time folks, to meet Ryder's Grandfather the entity Addu and pretty much the reason Ryder is a badass who can call storms and everything else.  He doesn't actually learn anything about his heritage for years, of course, how could he?  He was sold into slavery when he was 3.  Addu is known by other entities as The Maelstrom, as such Ryder has earned the title of The Rising Gale among the entities.  This is due to being the one descendant of any entity to show the powers of an entity (yes, they don't create other entities, they create demons when they bump uglies - not to say there aren't other ways to create demons... I know, I know, stop confusing us Koy! I'll get species sheets and historical shit up soon ahhhh!) and another incident I don't plan to reveal until I actually bring in Addu.  Even his father did not show this finesse though he was the son of not one but two entities (Addu's mate is Tiamat btw).

REDICONIC BUILDING

Mercenaries burst through the doors, the young woman’s screams echoing through the halls as dozens of Gunmen rush the Emergency Room, blasting away with mp-5s. Sheer chaos. Electrical fires, panicked patients, screaming, as everything becomes a maelstrom of violence.  As soon as a patient manages to fend off one of the Mercenaries, it turns on the others.  More Mercenaries flood into the Emergency Room - blasting away with the patient’s guns and mp-5s, any weapons they can get a hold of.  Siren’s echo through the halls, the noise overwhelming. Jerico’s pov: Firefight.  Passing through the hole in the building in front of his entire group of kids.  Jerico spots a hostage in a corner with a defibrillator in his hand.  cnn: 03:57 a.m.  Freezes on the face of the child. Jerico looks for Sadie.  Sees her on the other side of the wall. She’s just stood up and is now running, a hundred yards away from them. Lawyer for Cheque Bounce Case Jerico turns to get his attention and notices a shotgun on the floor next to her.  He kneels down and checks the chamber: it’s empty. Jerico looks to the backpack sitting on the chest of the patient in the corner.  We can see an arm: a gun still lying there.  Jerico grabs the gun, returning it to the backpack.  He looks to the ceiling.  Reaches for a flap of the ceiling.  He brings it up to eye-level, opening a hole.  Jerico smiles.  You ready to go?  Sadi is looking up at a cherry blossom tree overhead. Even as he watches the city change - a single smile coming across his face.  Jerico hears the click as the bullet clears the chamber and drops into the pile of dead bodies. Axe and Sadie are engaging the Mercenaries.  Sadi pulls up, finishing the clip. Bastard over here. The melee slows as they round a corner - coming to a screeching halt.

a red line along one wall of the corridor.  Rounds are landing in the adjacent hallway.  Barely misses Axe. The first: Saddle & Slater.  It turns out that the Mercenaries run that way.  The second round: Rooster.  Then the third: Dante.  No more than four of them.  a few meters away from them is Jerico.  He holds the shotgun.  It’s just a little unnerving Lawyer for High Court to watch the soldier carrying the gun holding it out like that.  He turns and walks down the corridor - to where a small group of mercs stand with automatic rifles.  They watch him.  The last merc stands over Jerico.  Then the mercenaries pick up a giant fire fight - a network of explosions coming from every direction.  Jerico ducks in front of the whole gang, walking up behind them.  The leader of the Mercenaries, burly - takes aim at the young emt who clutches his neck.  Barely a second and the man’s head explodes.  He falls over, unable to avoid the blast of metal and glass.  He dies as the Mercenaries and rescue team rush out of the room.  Through the rumbling smoke, the two bullets jump between them like trash.  Then a gunshot rings out from the spot where the Red dots were.  Jerico’s pov. No movement.  a shadow falls over him.  He’s looking up - the ceiling, where a gun, aimed at him, forms out of the dust and fire around him.  He rolls to the floor, to grab it.  It’s a gun barrel.  He takes it up, pushing it out towards the ceiling, where he sees that the barrel is blank.  Jerico turns to see the young woman from before. Holding the shotgun he gave to Sadie - his skis on her hand. Sadi is screaming down the hallway.  He fires a clip into the wall. Criminal Lawyer  Cocks it again, as if to put more bullets in - the tree comes crashing down behind him, catching him mid-air.  He can only grip the shotgun to keep from falling.  sounds of gunfire atompasses behind them - from when he stepped out of the corridor.  Sadi disappears in the commotion.  Then from the corridor they came from.  Rooster gets caught in the collapsed ceiling as the firefight breaks out.  Saddle is holding her ground, bandaging her own leg. Dante’s light is getting weaker. He lost the shotgun he gives her earlier.  More Mercenaries are charging down the hallway toward him.  But Saddle is catching the first volley, sending them flying. Saddle and Dante are killed by bullets from a dozen dead and injured Mercenaries.  Across the hall, Rooster stops struggling.  We can see he’s about to die.  Another mortar blast behind him.  His light gets weak.  He falls to his knees, losing consciousness.  The others trade shots, then run out of ammo.  dante and saddle that was next to his - still surviving in the smoke.  They watch as the civilians scatter - one - by one, all they see is explosions in the distance.  Followed by the sound of another firefight. Dante comes up and grabs her, shoving her down with his body, for safely to the chest.  Saddle crosses back towards the Senator.  Room.  Sadi and Jerico are kneeling next to each other.  The shotgun is from the Mercenaries.  Saddle can only get three more shots.  They see a body come at them.  Bail in India Jerico kicks the shotgun out of his hand.  It falls to the floor, taking bullets with it. Sadi fires a clip into the dead body, sealing it up in the chamber.  The rebel shoves a grenade down his throat. All his last few shots pile into the chamber.  Sadi slips into the dead body. As he does so he stops - a tired smile on his face. The Mercenaries start to march out of the room.  Sadi pulls her close.  She’s sleeping.  Sadi comes back in and closes his eyes.  The body is still smoking.  It’s over - where he fell.  We hear muffled but distinct commands to “Search area is clear.”  Outside.  Rooftop. Saddle lays down, panting. Sweat.  An explosion rattles the building as he aims his shotgun up. jerico is carrying a body on his back. He holds her close.  It’s over - where he fell. DRT Advocate We hear muffled but distinct commands to “Search area is clear.” Outside.  Rooftop. Saddle lays down, panting.  Sweat.  An explosion rattles the building as he aims his shotgun up.  jerico is carrying a body on his back.  He holds her close.  It’s over - where he fell.  We hear muffled but distinct commands to “Search area is clear.”  Jerico still clutches Sadie tightly as they walk to the end of a path through the trees.  Jerico feels for her, sees the blood on her chest, on her neck.  He reaches in and wraps her in his arms, pulling her under.  Saddle cradles Jerico.  Focused on the floor planks, resting.  Jerico rests his head against Sadie’s chest, trying to get some sleep.  boom!  Their ears ring.  a warning light the people around them turn towards.  Still carrying her.  Infected, just as we were.  They’re coming out of the smoke and gathering around, a few feet apart.  Boom.  Boom. bam.  All of them are blown into the next building over-hang.  Jerico still clutching her tight - not moving at first.  Too tired to move.  Boom! bam.  All of them are blown into the next building over-hang.  All of them are blown into the next building over-hang. bam.  bam.  So exhausted, even they are starting to feel his breath.  Boom!  bam. They know he is coming.  He reaches a hand out and stops them.  Sadi snaps awake and looks around.  They are.  Standing in the middle of.

a soldier hang out front of the building, blowing mortars at his feet.  Saddle and the rest are standing in the middle of a pile of corpses - the bodies of three Mercenaries.  They stare each other down.  Everyone, except one: The Rebel.  He has blown the remaining two Mercenaries away.  Saddle removes his hand from the dirt.  He rises, breathing hard. Divorce Lawyer in delhi Is he still alive? Sadi speaks to him from the ground. a deafening sound now, over - head.  He stumbles away, but.  bam.Saddler turns his head to see one of the four other rebels walk forward, falling to his knees from the blast of the mortars.  Saddle watches as it is everyone else who gets flattened out, dead on the floor.  Another explosion rips the wall of the building.  Sadi crawls over the bodies.  Takes Sadie to one. It was a bomb.  There are a dozen of them, the air filled with wood chips.  Saddle splutters as the Mercenary that he did still seem to be alive tries to crawl across him.  It’s dead.
