He had gotten drunk the night before and had a horrible hangover happening.
“Don’t worry, I’ll treat you” Siah, the older child says and rushed to her room to bring out her doctors kit.
Cheol manages to open his eyes, but his head still throbbing.
Siah walks into the living room with a toy stethoscope around her little neck and a toy injection in the other hand.
Cheol sees his baby bringing all her doctor toys to him and chuckles. “Are you here to take care of me doctor?”
“I will fix you” she says. “Where does it hurt?”
A smiling cheol points to his forehead. “Here doctor”
She takes the toy injection in the other hand and directly puts it on his forehead. This makes seungcheol laugh. “Thank you doctor, you’re so nice”

The fish accidentally slap your 4 year old son in the face. “It's slippery” he says trying his best to catch the fish. Everytime the fish is in his hands, the next second it slips out. You watch on the whole spectacle laughing.
After the boys are done catching 2 fish, your boys rushed to show you.
“Now we eat them” jeonghan says
Horror spread across the 4 year old boys face. He immediately starts whining as jeonghan laughs.
“We can’t eat them, theyre our friends!” The little one yells at his dad.
“Tell him!” He also yells at you to defend him as he cries.
“What do we eat then now? Aren’t you hungry?” Jeonghan asks him touching his sons belly.
“No!” The baby says with every conviction in him.
“What do we do with these fish?”
“Take them back home and raise them”
“They’re already dead”

"No way" He screams in excitement.
It was a toy car that he could drive.
"Hey, Hey, mister, safe driving only" you say as he gets on the car.
He drives exactly like Joshua. You giggle at that. "He has the same driving face as you" you say to Joshua looking at your son driving away.
"I don't have a driving face" he defends.
"You do!" and you mimic the face he makes while he concentrates on driving.
"He's learning everything from me" Joshua exclaims.
"Im glad, you're a wonderful man Joshua"
"Thank you for saying that, darling" he says wrapping his hand around your torso while you look at your son not braking in time and crashing.
"And thats a crash" you say and both of you rush to him to do damage control.

"It won't hurt, I promise"
Your son is wailing and hiccuping through his sobs, he is terrified of his tooth falling. It's his first milk tooth and that tooth has been dangling for 2 weeks now.
He has a birthday party to attend and he wants to eat everything and anything but the tooth won't let him. So Jun came up with a solid idea of pulling it out himself. As much as I am against it, you kid really wants it taken out but is also scared of it.
"See, we're going to tie this tooth to this floss and the other end to the door handle okay? then you can push the door shut when you're ready, the tooth will fall out" your husband calmly explains.
The boy looks terrified.
"It won't hurt, promise" he says.
Your son holds your hand tight as Jun ties the floss to the door.
"3" his grip on your hand tightens.
"2" his jaw clenches.
"1"
your son kicks the door and the tooth comes out in one swift motion. Your son is ecstatic as he rushed to your side to hug you.
"I did it mama"

"I'll get them on the way back from work tomorrow"
Soonyoung sits in front of Jiho with a tiger soft toy, Jiho's favourite.
Soonyoung pretends to voice the tiger and starts talking to jiho.
"Jiho, its me, your favourite tiger, your dad can't hear us"
This snaps Jiho's attention to the tiger. He smiles at the tiger and says the cutest hi.
"Your dad told me you've been climbing chairs and drawers, you shouldn't do that, it is dangerous"
"dangers?"
"yes, dangerous, you could fall and give yourself a ouchie then the doctor will give you an injection"
"no injection"
"You shouldn't climb"
"I'll go now" soonyoung says to jiho in the tiger voice.
"Tiger told me not to climb" he tells his dad immediately.
"It speaks?"
"Only I can hear him, he's my best friend that's why"
"Is that so?"
"Yes"
→Jeon Wonwoo
Tumblr media
"Daddy its torn, its torn" your 4 year old comes to you and your husband in the living room talking about his day.
"What's torn honey?" you ask looking down at her. Your daughter holds up Ms. Kiki.
Your sweet sweet baby girl, Min ju, had this one teddy bear she carried around everywhere. Ms. Kiki. It was her emotional support soft toy. She'd bring it to trips, to restaurants and even to the doctors, where she needed it the most.
"Ms. Kiki" she was bawling her eyes out. Wonwoo takes her in his lap. You inspect the tear, it was just a tear on the stitch, a few hand stitches should do the trick.
"Can I do it after I come back?" you had to head out to a meeting in some time.
she starts to whine a little again.
"Daddy will do it" wonwoo chimes and she becomes happy again.
"Ill fetch you the sewing kit, just stitch it here," you tell him showing him where.
The father daughter duo sit side by side, as Minju waits for her dad to sew it slowly.
he pricks himself with the needle the first try and hisses.
"Does it hurt daddy?" Min ju asks.
"Not it doesn't its a pinch" he says and continues sewing while you change into your work clothes.
"After 5 minutes he was done. "Tada!" wonwoo holds up the bear to minju, she was ecstatic.
You were ready to go and stopped by wonwoo to see what he did, and he did a pretty good job.
"Good job!" you praise him.
"Daddy is the bear doctor"
"Bear doctor sounds like a great title"

Tumblr media
You had come to visit Woozi's studio with your 3 year old Daughter Jia, Jihoon wanted to show her his new studio with a lot of lights, he thought the baby would enjoy it.
The light projecting stars and colourful galaxies, he called it the universe factory. Quite a cute name. He was the hottest looking man when he was in his studio focusing and working. One of the reasons you fell for him.
"So? How do you like it?" he asks.
"It looks beautiful, it's so pretty" looking up in wonder.
Your baby, Jia also is looking up adoring the roof and pointing to the stars she sees.
"Stars!"
"So pretty" your child mumbles.
Your daughter now was in his lap, pushing all buttons possible and some beats and sound start to come out of the speakers. Almost like she was making music herself.
"She seems like a natural" he says to her and takes her off the keys before she deletes important files.
"A few years, she'll come for your job Mr. producer"
→Lee Dokyeom
Tumblr media
"It's mommy birthday so we're going to bake a cake, but you have to promise me princess you're not going to eat the cake before that" Dokyeom sternly but the 2 year old babbling baby only looks up to see her boba eyes staring at him.
"You're too cute to scold" he says and starts making the cake.
Midway through the icing, Dokyeom was too focus on making the icing, he didn't realise the other side of the icing on the cake was getting eaten, little by little.
Your daughter's little fingers had swiped away at the icing one by one making a big icing mine in the cake. The back of the cake was eaten and ruined, but Dokyeom could not get angry at her. She looked too cute with icing all over her face.
"Here's a strawberry" Dokyeom tells her and hands her a strawberry to eat while he tries to save the cake.
"Finally done, you think mom would like it?" Dokyeom holds the cake to his toddler. "mmh" she hums to the strawberry she had in hand.
You had just returned from a long day of work, all you wanted was to cuddle your two main babies and go to sleep.
You come back to a dark living room and a startling noise.
"Surprise! Happy Birthday Baby!" Dokyeom says with your precious daughter in his arms and a strawberry cake.
"What's with the cake?" you ask looking up at him, then realising your little princess probably ate while making it.
Her hands held a half eaten strawberry as you take her from your husband and shower her with kisses.
"What about me!" Dokyeom sulks and you shower him with kisses too.
"Best Birthday ever"
→Kim Mingyu
Tumblr media
Bora haas been wanting a make up set like you have for ages. Mingyu promised to get her a kids make up set on the way back from work today, and he did.
Bora was so excited she started to jump around the living room.
It was a cute toy, with a mirror and brushes and everything. You just hoped it's goes okay on her skin and doesn't damage it.
"Thank you! Thank you!" her little frame hugs Mingyu.
She opens the kit and gets everything out.
"Appa, do you want to be the first customer of my salon?" she says.
He pretends to be a customer. "Hello, I would like a make over please" he says in a fake customer voice that makes your daughter giggle.
She happily obliges and puts this towel in his collar for his shirt. Quite thoughtful.
Bora roughly brushes over his face with some powder from the kit, being careful with it ends up going into mingyu's mouth and he blows raspberries to get it out.
"What kind of a salon is this?" he says giggling. Bora only laughs.
She finishes her masterpiece with a lipstick on her dad's face. a little over drawn but cute nevertheless.
"Tada!" she says as she holds up the mirror to his face.
"Do you feel beautiful daddy?"
"I feel so beautiful baby" he says and Bora runs to her room to bring one of her play wigs to put on her dad's head.
It was a golden bright wig with pigtails to complete the look.
You sneakily take a picture on your phone as you laugh.
Bora laughs too. "Daddy you look like a clown"
This comment makes you laugh even more coming from your daughter.
"Let's go mommy next!" Mingyu suggests with playful evil eyes and you almost run away before mingyu could catch you.
→Xu Minghao
Tumblr media
"Daddy, it's tea time, cmon! cmon!" your younger daughter grabs your husbands hand and drags him to her room.
"Why am I not invited?" you pout.
"it's only for daddy"
She's seen Minghao do his tea ceremony often. He stopped a while before, but once your daughter was born, Minghao and your daughter started play dates where they would pretend to drink tea, you found it cute.
"How is daycare?"
"No one likes to play tea party" she complains as you watch this interaction.
The little girl pours the 'tea' its just water, into the her father's cup and her cup.
"Why?"
"I'm not sure, but I have you to play with me"
"You do, I'll play tea party with you all day" Minghao says picking up the cup and putting it to his lips.
"Appa, stick your little finger out, like this" she says and demonstrates.
"Ah yes, how can I forget" he says and does as told.
Your daughter really had him wrapped around her little finger. It was adorable to watch.
→Boo Seungkwan
Tumblr media
"Stand here and shoot" seungkwan tells your 7 yer old son.
You were at the basketball court where seungkwan was teaching your son, Channie.
"Shoot, don't get on your toes" he yells at him from the sideline.
He finally makes a score and you cheer. Seungkwan looks very satisfied with himself.
"Let's do a mother son vs dad" you suggest and run into the court to start a match.
"Oh its on"
You jump on seungkwans back while his guard is down and, it becomes difficult for him to steal the ball from Chan and Chan scores. You put both your hands up in the air in celebration.
"Your dad's not that great at this after all" you say sassily to your husband kissing his cheek from the back.
"we'll see, we'll see, get off me! no cheating this time" he warns with a playful smile.
"We'll try"
This time you decide to take both his hands in yours and literally pull him away from the court while your son attempts to score. He misses twice and Seungkwan pretends to escape to save the ball.
Chan finally scores and seungkwan doesn't let your hand go though.
"We won!" you exclaim in your husbands face.
"Come here sneaky" he says wrapping his hands around your waist, not letting you go.
"You're not going to score this time" he says and throws you over his shoulder and grabs your son by the torso holding him with his arm.
It was all laughs and giggles.
→Choi Vernon
Tumblr media
"AAH" you hear a shriek coming from the living room. It was your husband Vernon, running to the bedroom to you.
"There's a bug on the wall, bug on the wall"
You can deal with smaller bugs, so you walk out confidently, assuming it's a smaller bug, but it was indeed a big bug.
Your 4 year old Derek, had come out of his room hearing the shriek.
"It's a bug?" he asks, while you hold a container to catch the bug and Vernon hiding behind you, neither of you taking any action to actually catch the bug.
"Derek will catch it for you" your son says in third person and bravely goes to the bug, climbing the couch to for his little hands to get to it.
"Are you sure he's my son?"
"What do you mean? Of course he's your son!" you exclaim.
You see Derek picking up the bug by its wings and asking you to stretch the container, you outstretch your hand with the container as far as you could. The bug really gave you the ice and made your body shudder.
"Done! Here's your new home bug!" Your 4 year old talks to the bug that's now in the container.
You and Vernon share a look.
"Aw my baby, protects me from bugs" you pat Dereks back.
"That was nothing" he boasts, trying to impress his mom.
Lee Chan
Tumblr media
"What do you think?" you husband, Chan, had just shared with you the most evil plan to prank your daughter. He wanted you in on it.
"She's going to cry" you warn him.
"It's a prank, we'll teach her to be a good sport" he justifies.
"You father daughter do what you want" you let it go. You eerily sound like what your mom used to say and that makes you chuckle internally.
"Okay, I'm gonna go hide it all"
The living room was a mess with all of Yu Na toys as she played in the living room.
"Yu Na" her father appears from the bedroom, "I have to tell you something"
Yu Na thinks its batch time and start whining, she hates bath time.
"It's something else" Chan clears and she calms down.
"Appa was hungry, so Appa ate something that was Yu Na's" he starts.
"My chocolate cake?" she asks in her little voice.
"There's chocolate cake in the fridge?" he looks surprised.
"Yeah, Uncle Dokyeom brought it yesterday"
"Ah, did he? I didn't eat that"
"What did you eat?"
"I ate all your halloween candy"
She looked like she was about to cry, her lips even turned downward. but what came out of her mouth was so precious.
"You were hungry?"
"Yes baby, I was"
"It's okay because you were hungry. You are supposed to eat when you're hungry and I love you so it's okay"
Chan and you were stunned to hear that. She hugs Chan and you give him a heartfelt look.
"This prank turned out wholesome" he says to you.
"Daddy didn't eat all your candies, we were just joking" you explain to your child.
"Just joking?"
"Yeah, we can have some after dinner" the little girl leapt in excitement and ran into the kitchen.
"We're raising the sweetest girl"
"All thanks to you, my love" he takes your hand and you smile at him.

Is It New Year, Yet? | Y.Jh
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jeonghan x reader
Genre: fluff, parents au
Summary: Every year, twins will make a new year list contained with everything they want to do.
Author note: hello everyone🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️ How's your 2024 so far? I hope you have a very warm heart this year and let's close the year with fluffy Jeonghan🙈🙈 (bcs i miss him sm???) However, i'll be back in 2025, stronger, wilder, angstier(?). Anyway, happy new year everyone!🎉🎊🎇
It was the day after Christmas, and Jeonghan was savoring the last moments of his holiday before the whirlwind of another tour swept him away to a different country the next day. He lounged on the couch, phone in hand, scrolling through video apps and occasionally sending funny clips to Seungkwan. His twin daughters, Nabi and Nabin, were sprawled on the floor, completely absorbed in their drawings. Every so often, Jeonghan glanced at their work, smiling softly and murmuring words of encouragement at their earnest efforts.
"Appa, look!" Nabin exclaimed, holding up her masterpiece—a family portrait with a brightly decorated Christmas tree in the background. Beside her, Nabi proudly showed off her drawing of a vibrant fireworks display.
"Appa, is it New Year's yet?" Nabin asked curiously, her big eyes filled with anticipation as she remembered how close it was to the end of the year.
"Let’s check our New Year list, Nabin!" Nabi suggested, her excitement bubbling over as she scrambled to their room to grab their special book.
Jeonghan’s smile widened as he listened to their conversation. Sitting up from the couch, he watched the twins return with their "New Year Book List" clutched tightly in their small hands. The tradition had been his idea—a way to encourage the girls to dream big and set goals. Since they learned to write, he had urged them to jot down all the things they wanted to do in the coming year and reflect on them at the end of it. Over time, this simple activity had become a cherished family routine.
"We didn’t go to the zoo with Dad this year!" Nabi’s voice broke through the quiet, tinged with disappointment. Her little face was scrunched up in a pout as she flipped through the pages of the book.
Jeonghan’s chest tightened with guilt. “I know, sweetie. I’m so sorry,” he said, his voice warm but tinged with regret. “I really wanted to take you, but things got so busy.”
"Promise us we'll go to the zoo next year," the twins demanded in unison, standing before him with their arms crossed, their tiny frames exuding an almost comical seriousness.
Jeonghan chuckled softly, brushing their hair lovingly with his hands. “I can’t promise for sure, but I’ll do my best, okay?”
Though his tone was light, the weight of his words pressed heavily on him. The truth was, his packed schedule often robbed him of precious moments with his daughters. He loved them deeply—they were his entire world—but between concerts, tours, and promotional events, it was you who attended their school programs, ballet recitals, and parent-teacher events. Every missed moment gnawed at his heart, a constant reminder of what he was sacrificing.
But the New Year list was different. It was their request, a tangible hope etched in crayon and ink. This year, he hadn’t managed to take them to the zoo despite their enthusiasm for animals. Urgent commitments had forced him to reschedule, and the thought of letting them down again made his chest ache.
“I’ll work on it, I promise,” Jeonghan said earnestly, pulling the twins into a gentle hug. They giggled, their earlier disappointment melting away as they leaned into their father’s embrace.
"Next year, Appa will definitely come with us!" Nabin declared confidently, as if her words alone could make it happen.
Jeonghan smiled, a mix of hope and determination flickering in his eyes. He might not always be able to keep his promises, but for his daughters, he would always try.
"I wrote about having a brother this year," Nabi said, her tiny finger tracing over her list.
Jeonghan’s ears perked up. "Huh?" he said, raising an eyebrow.
Nabin leaned over to peek at her sister’s list. "Oh, right! We talked about that. Yes, Dad! We want a brother!"
Jeonghan chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. “Having a brother isn’t as simple as writing it down on a list, sweeties. It’s a big responsibility.”
The twins pouted, clearly not satisfied with his response.
"And also," Jeonghan continued, moving to sit cross-legged on the floor with them, "it’s up to Mom. She’d be the one carrying him for nine months, you know."
Nabin’s eyes narrowed in confusion, her little hands on her hips. “Why not you, appa?”
"Yeah!" Nabi immediately echoed, mimicking her twin’s expression.
Jeonghan let out a hearty laugh, patting their heads. “We’ve talked about this before, remember? Only girls can carry babies.”
Nabin scratched her head, looking sheepish. “Oh, yeah… I forgot. Hehe.”
Nabi, however, climbed onto Jeonghan’s lap, her determination unwavering. “But don’t you do something about it, appa? I really want a brother.”
Jeonghan grinned and pulled Nabin onto his lap as well, wrapping his arms around both of them. “Hmm... I’ll talk to Mom about it, okay? But there’s a lot of other exciting things to do next year besides having a brother.”
The twins groaned in unison, clearly unimpressed with his answer. “But we want a brother!”
Jeonghan was about to respond when he heard the familiar sound of the door’s passcode being entered. Relief flooded him as he realized you were home. The twins immediately scrambled off his lap and ran to the door, their excitement bubbling over as they greeted you.
You stepped inside, a little pale but smiling warmly at your children. You’d been feeling under the weather since yesterday, likely from something you’d eaten during a Christmas gathering at a friend’s house. Still, seeing your family instantly lifted your spirits.
“Hi, babies! How was your day with Dad?” you asked, crouching down to let their little fingers curl around yours as they clamored to show you their New Year list.
“Mommy, look! Look at our lists! We had so much fun this year!” Nabi exclaimed, holding the book up to you.
"Did you?" you replied with a soft laugh, glancing at Jeonghan as you walked into the living room. “How’s the New Year list looking this year? We had a lot of fun this year, didn’t we?”
You sat beside Jeonghan, leaning into him slightly as he gently touched your forehead to check your temperature. “How are you feeling? Did the doctor say anything new?” he asked, his tone laced with concern.
“I’m fine,” you reassured him, though your voice was a bit weak. “Just some food poisoning, probably. I’ll be good as new tomorrow.”
"But it would’ve been more fun with Dad!" Nabin piped up suddenly, standing in front of you with her hands on her hips. “Daddy is a fun man!”
Both you and Jeonghan burst out laughing at her declaration. Nabin always had a knack for turning serious moments into comedic gold.
“Fun guy?” Nabi asked, tilting her head curiously.
“No,” Nabin corrected with a huff. “Fun man! Daddy is a man, not a guy or a boy!”
Jeonghan nodded in agreement, his chest puffing out playfully. “That’s right, baby. Daddy’s a man.”
You stood from your seat and made your way to the kitchen, brushing off the fatigue that still lingered. “What do you guys want for dinner?” you asked, your voice light and cheerful.
Nabi and Nabin immediately chimed in with their favorite meals, their excitement filling the air. Jeonghan, however, frowned slightly, his protective nature kicking in. “We can always order takeout, love,” he suggested, concern evident in his tone.
You shook your head, offering him a reassuring smile. “I’m fine. The doctor gave me a shot, and I feel much better now.”
As the four of you gathered around the dining table, Jeonghan took it upon himself to help by setting up the twins’ plates while you prepped dinner for the two of you. It was a simple routine, but moments like these felt special—a reminder of the quiet joys of family life.
"Jihyun talked about Santa this morning,” Nabi began, her voice thoughtful. “I don’t believe in Santa. It was her mom who gave her the present, right, Mom?”
Jeonghan stifled a laugh. “Did you tell Jihyun that?” he asked, glancing at his daughter with amusement.
Nabi shook her head firmly. “Nope, I kept it in my head. But Mom said it, didn’t you, Mom?”
You let out a soft chuckle, nodding. “I did. But it’s okay if someone believes in Santa. It’s part of the fun.”
Nabin tapped her chin with a finger, clearly deep in thought. “Hmm... I think Mom told us that because she didn’t want to give us Christmas gifts.”
Jeonghan burst into laughter at Nabin’s clever deduction, while you quickly defended yourself. “Hey! I got you two the plushies you wanted last week, remember?”
The twins giggled as the memory resurfaced, but Nabin wasn’t done yet. “But why does Santa give free gifts?”
Jeonghan set the twins’ plates down in front of them—Japanese curry tonight, a meal they loved. “Because Mom’s cooking tonight, we’re eating whatever she wants. That’s the rule,” he joked, winking at you.
Nabi, still fixated on the Santa topic, tilted her head. “Is Santa a god or something, Mom?”
Jeonghan shot you a look, his lips twitching in amusement. “Wow, babe, you’re raising a philosopher,” he murmured under his breath.
You laughed softly and addressed your daughter. “No, sweetie, he’s not a god. Santa’s just a figure—someone who gives gifts to kids who’ve been good all year. That’s why your Santa could be me, your dad, or even your friend’s mom.”
Nabi let out a relieved sigh. “Good. I can’t imagine you with a beard and a red suit, Mom.”
You burst out laughing, nodding in agreement. “Yeah, I think we’re all glad I’m not Santa.”
Later that night, after tucking Nabi and Nabin into bed, you quietly slipped into the master bedroom. Jeonghan was sitting on the floor, surrounded by neatly folded clothes and travel essentials as he packed for his upcoming tour.
“I don’t want to go,” he muttered, his voice heavy with reluctance as he opened his arms to pull you into his embrace.
You nestled against him, your head resting on his shoulder. “I know, baby,” you whispered, your hand gently stroking his back.
“The twins mentioned how many events I missed this year,” he confessed, his voice tinged with guilt. “It hurts. My heart aches every time I think about it.”
You pressed a soft kiss to his cheek, offering him the comfort he needed. “Don’t let it weigh you down. They were sad at the time, sure, but they also know how hard you work to give them the life they have. They’re proud of you, Jeonghan, even if they don’t say it.”
For a moment, silence enveloped the room, heavy with unspoken thoughts. Then Jeonghan spoke again, his tone quieter this time. “They said they want a brother next year.”
You hummed, a faint smile tugging at your lips. “They’ve been talking about that all year, actually.”
His eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Really? I thought today was the first time they ever brought it up. I told them it was up to you.”
You let out a slow sigh, your gaze distant. “I don’t know if I’ll be ready. The twins are growing up so fast, and it’s already a challenge to keep up with them. I know you’re here to help, but… I’m scared, Jeonghan.”
He immediately tightened his hold on you, sensing the vulnerability in your voice. “Hey,” he murmured softly, “it’s okay to feel that way. We all get scared sometimes. I do, too. But we’ve got each other, right?”
You nodded, but the words still caught in your throat. “I know, but… you’ll leave again. Like before. And I’ll be alone.”
The whispered admission broke something inside him. He hadn’t realized how deeply his absences had affected you, not just as a mother but as his partner.
“I’m sorry, love,” he said, his voice cracking with emotion. “Should I take a leave? A hiatus? I’d do it for you and the twins in a heartbeat.”
You shook your head quickly, your hands clutching his shirt. “No. I can’t ask you to do that. What about the band?”
Jeonghan chuckled softly, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “There are thirteen of us, love. Missing one person for a little while won’t hurt anyone.”
You let out a small huff, burying your face in his chest. “I’m sorry. You don’t have to do that. I think I’m just being a little too sensitive tonight.”
He kissed the top of your head, his hand rubbing soothing circles on your back. “Don’t apologize, love. It’s okay to feel this way. We’ll figure it out together, like we always do.”
*
Right before the concert started, Jeonghan decided to squeeze in a quick video call with his daughters. As soon as the screen lit up with their familiar faces, everyone in the room perked up, eagerly crowding around Jeonghan to wave at the twins.
“Hi, Nabi! Hi, Nabin!” came a chorus of greetings from the members.
The twins squealed in delight, and their eyes lit up when they spotted Seungcheol. They had a soft spot for him—unsurprising, given his habit of spoiling them with everything from Lego sets and plushies to clothes and candy.
“Uncle Seungcheol! Hi!” Nabin called out, her voice full of excitement.
Seungcheol grinned and waved back. “Hi, my favorite little humans! How are my girls?”
Before Nabin could answer, she turned to you, her voice suddenly secretive. “Mom, can we tell Uncle Seungcheol?”
The room erupted in laughter at her cheerful yet mischievous tone.
“What do you want to tell me?” Seungcheol asked curiously, leaning closer to the screen.
But the twins immediately shook their heads in unison, giggling. “Oh no, Mom said it’s a secret!”
“Tell me instead, baby,” Jeonghan coaxed, his voice playful as he tried to get in on the secret.
But Nabin was quick to deny him, shaking her head furiously. “No! It’s a secret to you too!”
Jeonghan gasped in mock betrayal, placing a hand over his chest dramatically. “We promised there wouldn’t be secrets between us!”
The twins giggled harder, clearly enjoying his reaction. The room was filled with laughter, as the members, seated around Jeonghan on the couch, watched the interaction with amused expressions.
“Cute,” Wonwoo mumbled, glancing over at the screen. His quiet comment caught the twins' attention immediately.
“Uncle Wonwoo!” Nabi and Nabin exclaimed in unison, their excitement palpable.
Wonwoo chuckled, waving at the camera. “Happy New Year, Nabi and Nabin! What are you two up to today?”
“We’re going to bake!” Nabin said enthusiastically. But then, as if struck by a sudden thought, she turned to you. “Mom, can our brother look like Uncle Wonwoo?”
The room went silent for a beat, and Wonwoo blinked in confusion. “What? A brother? Are you… going to have a son, hyung?” he asked, turning to Jeonghan with wide eyes.
Jeonghan froze, his face a mixture of shock and panic as the other members whipped their heads toward him in curiosity. He immediately shook his head, his hands waving frantically in denial.
“No, no, no! That’s not it—” he stammered, but before he could explain, Nabi turned to you with an innocent question. “Mom, how does Uncle Wonwoo know? Did you tell him about our brother?”
Jeonghan’s jaw dropped, and his phone nearly slipped from his grasp. Seungcheol, quick on reflexes, caught it before it could hit the floor.
“What is going on?” Seungcheol asked, his eyes wide as he processed the conversation. He turned to Jeonghan, his expression one of barely-contained amusement. “Are you hiding something?”
The rest of the members, sensing the commotion, crowded closer, their curiosity piqued.
“What’s happening?”
“Jeonghan hyung, do we need to congratulate you?”
Jeonghan’s ears turned red as he scrambled to retrieve his phone from Seungcheol. “Nothing is happening! Stop making things up!” he exclaimed, flustered.
Without waiting for more teasing, he hastily stepped out of the room, putting the call on a private line. The laughter and teasing from the other members echoed behind him as he closed the door.
“Hello?” you answered, your tone light, though you sounded curious about the sudden call.
“Love,” Jeonghan began, his voice low and urgent. “Why do the twins think they’re getting a brother? And why do they want him to look like Wonwoo?”
You couldn’t hold back your laughter, the sound making his heart soften despite his panic. “Oh, they’ve been on about this for weeks. I thought they’d mentioned it to you already. As for Wonwoo… well, I guess they just think he’s handsome!”
Jeonghan groaned, leaning against the wall as he pinched the bridge of his nose. “They’ve got the entire group thinking we’re planning something, love.”
You chuckled again, clearly amused by his predicament. “Relax, Jeonghan. Just tell them the truth. Or… you could let them squirm a little.”
Jeonghan sighed, a reluctant smile tugging at his lips. “You’re too calm about this,” he muttered, though the warmth in his tone betrayed his affection.
“Because it’s funny,” you replied, your laughter ringing in his ears again.
And just like that, Jeonghan found himself smiling despite the chaos. You always had a way of putting him at ease.
At home, you sat on the couch, trying your best to look stern while the twins stood in front of the wall with their little arms raised in the air. Their small figures looked so comically guilty that you had to fight hard to suppress your smile.
“Not done yet?” Nabin asked, her voice tinged with a mix of guilt and curiosity.
“Not even two minutes,” you replied with a hum, glancing at the timer on your phone.
“We’re sorry…” Nabin mumbled, her pout making her look even more adorable.
You crossed your arms and raised an eyebrow, trying to maintain your composure. “What did I tell you about secrets? It was supposed to stay a secret until Daddy’s home.”
“We were just excited!” Nabi exclaimed in defense, her hands starting to drop. But the moment you let out a soft warning sound, she quickly pushed them back up with a small huff.
The timer finally beeped, signaling the end of their two-minute punishment. The twins immediately lowered their arms and turned to face you, heads bowed like little penitents.
“Mommy, we’re sorry,” Nabi said earnestly, her small hands clasped together. “We promise we won’t say anything about the secret until Daddy’s home.”
You let out a small chuckle, unable to stay stern anymore. Opening your arms, you pulled them into a warm hug. “Thank you for apologizing, sweeties. I forgive you. But remember, no more talking about this, okay? It’s just between us until Dad comes home.”
The twins nodded solemnly, their little faces glowing with relief. But just as the moment of seriousness seemed to pass, Nabi piped up in her usual curious tone, “I just want my brother to look like Uncle Wonwoo…”
Her words caught you off guard, and you laughed softly, brushing her hair back. “Is that so?”
Nabin chimed in, nodding eagerly. “Yeah! Is it possible, Mom?”
You crouched down to meet their eyes, your voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “Let’s see in seven months, okay?”
Their eyes widened, and Nabi’s little mouth fell open in surprise. “Seven months? Really?”
You smiled mysteriously, tapping your finger gently on her nose. “We’ll see.”
The twins squealed in excitement before bursting into giggles, their earlier punishment already forgotten as they began whispering about their potential “brother.” You watched them with a fond smile, marveling at how their innocent enthusiasm could brighten even the quietest days.
A week later, when Jeonghan finally stepped through the door after his long trip, the twins wasted no time. The moment they spotted him, they ran at full speed, their excited voices echoing through the house.
“Dad! We’re having a brother!” they announced in unison, their high-pitched voices practically bouncing off the walls.
Jeonghan froze mid-step, his suitcase still in hand, not even given a second to rest. He blinked at the two beaming faces before him, his exhaustion momentarily forgotten. “A... brother?” he asked, his tone filled with a mix of surprise and confusion.
“Yes! Mom said so!” Nabin chimed in, her hands on her hips as if to emphasize the gravity of the news.
“We’re so excited, Daddy!”
The end. See you in 2025!

the softest coos filled up the room. your heart felt at ease and you didn’t have any worries weighing on your shoulders. you felt free, complete. there was nothing better than this.
the slightly open curtains casted a heavenly hue on your little daughter that you were cradling in your arms, very close to your chest. each time you stroked her cheek, she broke into the most adorable toothless smile with her eyes closed and that only could make your heart burst into crumbs.
“she feels so cozy,” you hummed to yourself. she was showered, changed, fed and rocked in your arms since this morning. now it was time for her second bottle of the morning which you had sat on the night table beside her crib.
you carefully tucked her in her baby pink sheets (courtesy of jeonghan who decided on getting her everything pink). she’d never looked more peaceful, you couldn’t take your eyes off of her. she was now at the age where she could hold her bottle by herself so once your hand placed the bottle of milk on her lips, she instinctively latched onto it with both her hands.
leaving the door of her nursery open, you made your way to the kitchen to do the final touches on the breakfast you’ve made. you prepared the plates and cutlery, decorated the pancakes with strawberries and some whipped cream and dripped some coffee before heading to your room.
jeonghan was peacefully sleeping. you took a moment to just look at him —a few steps away from the bed— snuggling up to the sheets, body curled up into a fetus position. soft facial features took your breath away. long eyelashes draped over the upper of his cheeks like little feathers, nose so boop-able and lips pretty swollen and so kissable.
your feet gently padded their way closer to the bed where you gingerly lied beside him, nuzzling yourself under his face and into his neck. he felt warm, so warm that you couldn’t help the hum escaping your chest.
jeonghan quickly realized what was going on, swiftly wrapping his arms around you and bringing you closer to his embrace. “mmh, this feels nice,” he murmured groggily, sleep still laced with his voice like an ivy plant.
you filled your lungs with his intoxicating smell; musk, laundry detergent, baby cologne, wood and just him and his natural body smell that you grew familiar with over the span of the years.
you couldn’t get over him.
“did you have a good night sleep?” you asked, still pressed against his chest, your arms wrapped around him like a baby koala.
“mmh,” he softly answered, pressing kisses on top of your head.
after what felt like eternity, you pulled away from his skin and gazed at his face. you almost choked on your breath at his beauty that you never seemed to get used to. his eyes were still closed but a soft smile painted his features.
“like father, like daughter,” you thought to yourself. these two were going to be the death of you.
your heart swelled in your ribcage at the sight of him and you couldn’t help yourself from stroking all over his face with your thumb. forehead, eyelids, nose bridge, cupid’s bow, lower lip and chin. you traced all his features in hopes of them sticking to your memory forever and ever.
“so this is how angels look like, hm?” you mindlessly asked, for no one in specific to answer. you were dazed, enchanted by him.
jeonghan bursted into the cutest laugh, small and straight teeth making an appearance behind his lips and you just stared at him in a daze. you had a nearly one year old daughter and you were still so love-stricken by him, it was actually unbelievable.
“haven’t we already established that, sweetheart?” he chuckled as he caressed your hair, peering at your glossy eyes that were fixing him from the position of you resting your chin on top of his chest.
“i just…still can’t believe that i get to spend the rest of my life with an angel-looking human,” you laughed, finally getting to boop his nose.
“y/n we have a daughter together, i think it’s time for you to get over yourself and start getting used to the fact that you’re married to an actual angel,” his slender fingers slid from your hair to land on your cheek, delivering sweet touches to the outline of your jawline, before stopping at your chin.
“you’ve got it all messed up,” you shook your head. he tilted his head in confusion as to why you would have such thing to say. “for all i know, you’re a devil with angel-like beauty, my love.” you looked at him fondly.
“hm?” he feigned innocence as he lifted your chin with one finger, enchantingly pulling you closer to his face. “but admit it,” he spoke lowly, his lips tingling on yours. “you do like my devil side better, sweetheart.” he smiled.
you swallowed thickly. “do you?” he asked, hands slithering around your waist to hold you in place upon noticing you struggling to keep your weight above him. oh he was so sly, you melted.
“i’ll grant you the benefit of the doubt on this one.” you looked down at him like he was a porcelain statue, so careful not to ruin. you actually liked both his sides equally but you knew that if you let him know, he would corrupt you and convince you that his devilish side was better. that meant more pranks, more teasing and less soft side jeonghan (mostly in bed) so no, you were not allowing him that.
“i have an entire lifetime to find out.” he said, finally dropping your body on his and placing a gentle kiss on your lips. it was soft and inviting, luring you into him like there was no other option. hands placed on both side of your face as he guided you through the greedy pushes of his plump lips, sultry sounds threatening to fill the room.
you breathlessly pulled away from him, watching his lips hovering in the air to chase yours. he just giggled softly at you, eyes hazy with sleep and drunk on kissing before licking his lips and pressing them together.
“where’s little pumpkin?” he asked after you adjusted yourself beside him on the bed. you were both on your backs, breaths slowly calming down, both your hands interlaced on his abdomen.
“sleeping.”
“still?”
“she’s taking her first nap of the day.” you turned to him. he looked confused.
“already? wait- what time is it?”
“9:45-ish am.”
“oh my, i overslept. why didn’t you wake me up so i could help you change and feed her?” he faced you now, blond strands of hair sticking to his forehead.
you pealed them away from his face and behind his ears. “you looked so peaceful sleeping so i didn’t wanna disturb you. i know you’ve been working hard for us, plus it’s a sunday so you deserved the extra hours of sleep.”
“i don’t deserve you,” jeonghan expressed with gratitude, soft gaze falling upon your face and you could fall in love with him all over again.
“you deserve all the love and care my love.” after a gentle peck on his lips, you pulled away and said, “freshen up and let’s go eat, breakfast is ready.”
jeonghan leaned down to pepper your face with kisses, “you’re so good to me,” he said in between each one. “i love you so much.”
“i love you even more. you’re the best husband and father to my daughter i could ever ask for. happy father’s day, my love.”
his eyes welled up with tears and his body melted into you. “you’re gonna make me cry sweetheart.” he pulled you into his arms and you secured yours around his body, engulfing each other into a sweet hug.
on another note, you loved his angel side more.

Scoups as a dad
a/n: thought I'll write something for me birthday boy
triggers: None
• He was overjoyed when you told him that you’re pregnant. Would instantly start preparing to be the father and the best partner to you.
• Would ask his brothers and his parents about how he was asking a child and wonder if his children would also behave like him
• When your daughter is born he starts sobbing out of joy. Treats you to sushi the minute you get discharged from the hospital.
• He would be changing diapers and tending to her as soon as she was born. He had prepared 9 months for this and read up every book on parenthood.
• Would take her out on walks and sometimes to the boys house to let you have some time to relax and rest.
• Jealous of how she likes jeonghan even though he’s literally her father.
• By the time she’s two years old she has wrapped him around her finger. He would give her piggy back rides and sneak her ice cream even if you said no.
• When she first went to nursery he cried more than her that at one point she would comfort him.
• Biggest Baby at home even your daughter babied him.
• Would ask you if you guys could have another baby now that your daughter goes to school.
• Would play sports with your daughter every weekend . He would be her biggest supporter when she joined her schools team. Never missed a single match.
• Would hate it when your daughter enters her bratty teenage phase. You’d find it funny cause the way she sulks would remind you of him.
• Would cry at her graduation and shed comfort him just like she comforted him when she first went to school. This memory would only make him cry more.
• Because he looks all intimidating he’d end up scaring some guys who are into her .
• All her girl friends have a crush on him
• He’d just be the most doting but responsible father ever.
a/n: I'll just be in my corner sobbing scoups as a dad sounds like a dream :'(

Jeonghan is 1000% a “don’t tell mom” kind of dad in the way that he would absolutely bribe any of his children old enough to spill his secrets into keeping their tiny, precious little lips sealed. Especially when you’ve explicitly told him not to do something and he does it anyway. The tables will however turn because his kids would take after him and bribery turns to blackmail real quick. He never imagined his wickedly cunning six year old threatening to tattle on him unless he buys her ice cream, but alas...here he is waiting for her to eat every last sprinkle.
It nearly pains him to admit how proud he is.

The Scarlet Dress Debacle
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Seungcheol (Scoups) x Female Reader (Established Relationship) Genre: Angsty Fluff. Purely Domestic. Dad Cheol. SFW. Borderline suggestive so MDNI
Warnings: Slight description of breastfeeding. If you are uncomfortable, please don't read it.
Word Count: 3.4k (Drabble go awimbawe)
Master List is here
Part 1 is heeeere Part 3 here
Summary: In which you brought a scarlet dress without Cheol's knowledge, causing a dip in your savings but a leap in your heart. This is slightly heavy ngl. There were many moments I had to stop writing just to take a breather. There were many scenes I cut out cause of how raw it was. Please be mindful in the comments. What inspired me for this fic
"Ma-maaa " Your baby was squealing, shrieking all in one. Her grubby eyes kept reaching out for you, wanting to be carried. Although your heart ached to just stoop down and carry her and receive some 'Hana cuddles', you couldn't just leave your task at hand. You were rolling dough to make bread. The stove had bulgogi on it, a luxury in your house and you found yourself  pacing back and forth between the grinder, the stove and the island trying to multitask.
You bent down to give her a small spoon and bowl, to appease her whines. Thankfully, she was satisfied for now, choosing to play with her toys. She was a Seungcheol carbon copy, pouty lips and a sulky nature when she wasn't given enough attention.
You had  protested at the uncanny resemblance too, nine months in your belly and the audacity to come out looking like her dad?
However they died down when she ended up being a 'mama's girl' to Cheol's chagrin. She needed your attention on her at all times, happy even just to be in your presence.
You had tied the end of her ankle to the table leg. For a baby, she sure was a rapid crawler. In the blink of an eye she could be seen yeeting herself out of the room in the most hilarious ways. Not able to catch up with her, you had come up with a scheme to let her crawl away as long as she remained within eye range. She didn't mind it anymore, you were at peace now. A win-win situation.
The timer beeped. You put down your dough and went to the corner of the room where Sollie was in timeout.
"Sollie, time out's done bub, can you turn around for Eomma?."
No sooner were you finished speaking than you had an armful of a teary eyed Hansol in your arms. You cradled his head and scooped him up, trying to reassure his whines.
Although you didn't pick him up till you were done asking him some questions, you supposed today you could let it pass. After the customary five minute walk around the kitchen, holding a now sniffling Hansol, you turned off the two burners, transferring Hana's lunch from the grinder to a bowl and set Sollie  on the island.
Although he kept shaking his head, still wanting to be carried, you knew he needed this.
"Hansol, can you tell eomma what you did wrong?"
His eyes looked at everything except for you, opting to avoid your stern eyes. When you still didn't relent, be brought out that pouty lip.
"I push Hana eomma ."
"And?"
"And an- I hit her."
"And what do we say about pushing and hitting in this house Hansollie?"
He was beginning to get distracted, choosing to fiddle with dough you were rolling a minute ago.
"Hansol, please look at eomma ."
He turned back at you, bottom lip still not set back.
"What did we say about pushing a baby? We use our...?
"Hands!"
You had to maintain your giggle else you'd break character. Kids came up with the  darndest things.
"No bub, we don't use our hands we use our ..?
" Words eomma "
"Good job baby! Did you learn your lesson baby?"
A nod.
"Sorry eomma."
"You are okay baby. You should be apologizing to Hana baby. She could have gotten an owie. Do you wanna give Hana a hug too?"
Another nod.
"Ppo ppo?"
Giving him a long kiss, one he was beginning to wriggle away from, you set him down, sending him away to Hana.
You watched as he ran to Hana, who was ignoring the both of you happily slobbering away licking her toys. How babies got happy licking things was a mystery to you.
You sighed as he engulfed Hana in a hug, one she was not too happy to receive beginning to push back. You chuckled and went back to your work, choosing to avoid the heaviness in your stomach.
Today was just not your day. Hansol getting a timeout was the final straw before he got punished.
It seems his terrible two's had descended into terrible threes too. Ever since you had joined work after your maternity leave was up, you had to send him and Hana to daycare, not able to juggle both at the same time.
The other alternative was for you and Cheol to take shifts around the clock but he had put a foot down, pouting his way out. "I married you to see you too, you know. What's the point of having kids if they only see one parent at a time, shifting shifts?"
You had dug into your savings and invested in day care, it's a small bump in the road.
Today was your team outing, a two day trip to go on a tour with your colleagues. However you took these two days to spend some extra time with the kids, the mom guilt eating you up. Hansol basked in your attention, choosing to whir out all his personalities today.
You loved your little boy but he was Jekyll and Hyde personified.
Sometimes, he was the best boy, always giving out hugs and kisses, to anyone who needed it (his parents all the time) and dancing around the house singing the odd rhyme and limerick.
Other times, like today, everything triggered his temper. He refused to go for naps, wanting you to keep carrying him everywhere, and this led to his crankiness, destroying everything in his path.
He broke a plate when you didn't give him attention fast enough and although you did excuse him because his sorry eyes resembled his father's and had you melting, this led up to even more chaos, pulling out Hana's hair and even slapping her head, causing him to be sent to time out.
You knew he was jealous of Hana and you were trying your hardest to pay him extra attention because you never wanted him to experience middle child syndrome. But sometimes he took that attention for granted.
Arin was reading her book in the bedroom. "Bless the child" you thought.
Arin was just like her dad, a quiet soul who never took her nose out of her books, never the one to fight over toys while her younger siblings fought tooth and nail over toys. she was your little helper. But everyone has days, you suppose. She was an extremely picky eater and had refused to eat anything except for bread, choosing to spit out everything else.
You had to inevitably force feed her leading to her break out and call you an 'idjit and ninny' (you had to admit it was hard to maintain a straight face after being called that by a seven year old but you knew one slip up and she would continue using that up, ultimately leading to her time out too.
After her time was up, she had refused to play with Hansol, choosing instead to read her books, and you didn't want to argue. Though you had a sneaking suspicion she was learning more words to store in her memory and call you when the best of her temper arrives.
Hana was at her teething stage, fussy and irritable over anything.
Battling between three kids fighting for attention from you and throwing tantrums, you wonder 'did I give birth to monsters?'
It was evening, and you were longing to have Cheol home to take some load off your shoulders.
You finally did end up putting Hana and Hansol for a nap, choosing to spend some time with your eldest child, reading 'Heidi' for the seventh time this week.
Taking a small break to check on the Sundubu Jjigae, you walked your way to the kitchen when the doorbell rang.
Your heart was in your throat, tiptoeing your way to the front door. Peeping through the soul, you were met with the delivery man. Ahh crap the dress you had ordered online was coming today.  Just your luck.
Thanking the man, you lay your body on the door holding the box to your chest. Cheol hadn't known you went behind his back to buy this.
You and Cheol had made a vow three years back that you wouldn't buy gifts for each other except for necessities, choosing instead to save up that money and buy something nice for your children. After all, didn't they deserve some happiness?
However your team was hosting its annual dinner and you were out of nice things. None of your old dresses fit you anymore, your body had changed after Hana and you wanted to wear something nice. Something that wasn't your typical office wear, something that made you look pretty.
You were embarrassed to tell your husband any of this which was why you had made your purchase from the work computer, using your salary account to pay.
Donning on the scarlet dress you gasped at your reflection. It fit you like a glove, choosing to highlight your curves, curves that you had begun to start loving thanks to your husband who found every part of you sexy.
Your boobs didn't look droopy in this, choosing to stay perky and well snug under the fabric. And your tummy? The soft pooch you had grown just gave an extra dimension adding on to the character. You did a small twirl, appreciating yourself in the mirror, loving every moment in the dress.
Now the guilt began. You knew the choice to buy this dress came in a haste decision, wishing for something pretty. Although you and Cheol had made that decision to be rid of nice things at the choice of sacrificing for your kids, a selfish part of you had rationalized that he was never without gifts.
He still had his rich friends who showered him with luxurious gifts.
Despite having been kicked out by his 'parents', his mom would come to see him on the rare occasion that his dad was out of town. After all, she couldn't bear not seeing her baby for too long. He was indeed a 'mama's boy'.
Your mother in law was a kind and generous lady to those who she loved and despite making it very obvious she did not like you, she loves her son and grandkids. You had learned to cope with it. She would always come packed with gifts, showering them with everything they wanted.
Outfits for years to come: iPads, a whole kitchen set for Hana, a race car collection for Hansol, a library of books for Anna, a whole wardrobe of clothes for Hana (a pity, she outgrew most of them)  and a drum set for Hansol. And she never forgot her son, making sure to gift him his favorite branded shirts and pants and an endless supply of wallets now.
Initially your mother in law had opted to forget about Arin, not wanting to buy anything for a child that was not biologically her sons but your husband had put his foot down, gifts for all three children equally or no visitation rights. You suppose she loves her son too much to lose him to a seven year old's gifting choices which was why she had begun to start gifting Arin too.
You were happy for your husband and children. You were. But sometimes you crave nice things too.
At her son's warning she had begun to buy you kitchen sets - ceramic pans and copper pots- but you knew they were more to make sure her son was well fed than for you. You never protested. You were happy. But going online and coming to work, seeing all these beautiful dresses and gorgeous women made you feel self conscious of your drab wardrobe and out of season fits .
You didn't want to tell Cheol about your worries. Didn't want him to fight with his mom and cause more tension between the two of them, didn't want to feel silly for wanting such trivial things and most importantly didn't want to hurt his pride that he couldn't afford whatever you wanted.
This dress seemed to be the perfect outfit that you could wear for dinner next week. It'd been almost a year since you last ventured into  a gown and put on extra makeup. But with the kids asleep, Arin mesmerized in her book and still some time left before Cheol came home, you had gotten bold.
Letting down your hair, you applied some makeup and before you could look at your reflection, you heard a cry.
"Hana."
You had to get to her before she woke Hansol up too. Running to the kids room still in your dress you were met with a mess. Hansol had woken up too crying louder than his sister, who seeing competition had resorted to shrieking out.
Lifting up both your crying children, you carried them to the living room where Arin sat, still unbothered and buried in her book. You started pacing around the room, humming every lullaby you could think of, hoping to pacify your children. The microwave was beeping incessantly adding to the mix of loud sounds and you needed Arin's help.
"Arin baby could you please switch off the microwave? Just click on the "Stop' button once." Ever the obliging child, Arin walked over to the microwave.
It all happened so fast.
One minute she was walking back, the next moment her eyes- still fixed on the book , glanced away from her surroundings slipping on the fabric you had tied to the leg of the table causing the table to jerk and you watched in slow motion as the candle you lit a few moments ago, to celebrate a good day, tumbled down.
With Godspeed, you ran to Arin, pushing her away milliseconds before the flames could touch her. Not expecting the push, the book went flying right into the candle, effectively burning up a page. Not so gently you placed your still crying babies down, rushing to stop the flames before they got big. Not able to locate anything in the near vicinity, you began to fan it down with your bare hands effectively adding more fuel to the fire. Just as you began to panic, a stream of water was thrown at the candle killing the fire.
You watched in amazement as Cheol's stricken face came into your view. When did he arrive?
Right. The now three screaming children and smoke alarm blaring in the background had probably silenced his coming in.
How had a small candle caused the smoke alarm to roar? A burning smell infiltrated your senses. Oh. There goes your welcome meal you had planned to surprise your husband with, the evidence of which was burning on the stove.
You wanted to put everything down and just walk away from the utter chaos that was your house and three screaming kids racing to be the loudest.
But you couldn't. You couldn't even give him a welcome kiss. Divide and conquer was the only way to diffuse the situation.
Cheol hoisted up Arin and Hansol who were now much calmer after having seen their Appa comforting hem and you picked up Hana who was now gnawing at your boob.
Ahh, she was probably hungry. Unzipping your side zipper, you placed her under, quietening her cries. Running to the kitchen to switch off the stove which you see has already been switched off. Ahh he must have been quicker than you thought.
"Ahh eomma was playing dress up I see? Is that why she couldn't play tag with you?"
You froze in place.
You knew he didn't mean anything by that, even going so far as to send you a flirty wink after having given you a once over when picking up the kids.
But in this expensive dress you had brought without consulting him, adorning yourself in makeup on your day off and inadvertently setting Arin up by leaving that cloth on the corner, the guilt eating you alive, his offhand comment seemed to be the icing on the bitter cake.
Cheol was in bed, fully showered, having eaten his dinner and ensured that all three kids had been tucked tight.
But you were distant. He didn't know what caused that. He had made sure not to feed your guilt by commenting on the fire. He was in the right place at the right time and being a father to toddlers, he knew accidents were prone to happen anytime. He didn't blame you at all.
So why were you upset?. Thinking hard, the only probable explanation came to mind.
Ahh. He hadn't commented enough on your outfit. He didn't have it in him to spare more than a second glance, you had run into change back to pajamas while feeding Hana.
He placed a kiss on your shoulder, turning you toward him. You were not asleep , he knew that. On tiring days like this you snored. Not that he would ever admit that to you for fear of losing his family jewels.
"You looked gorgeous in that dress babe. Stunning. Should have clicked a picture with you on it ."
A rather long pause. In hindsight, he should have dwelled on that pause.
"Really?"
"Really darling. Red is totally your color."
You might have trained your husband to compliment you beyond the usual "sexy' and classic "ooh lala ' with a sleazy wink. Not that they never made you week in the knees.
"Sorry I didn't come with you to the store to choose for Nana."
Silence. What?
"Nana?"
"Yeah, it's her birthday next week right, didn't you buy this dress for her? It's alright I won't tell her you tried it out. Your secret's safe with me baby. The kids are not coming so you are extra safe. No snitches" Another soft kiss.
You didn't buy this dress for Nana. You brought this for you. But Nana's birthday was coming up next week and you had forgotten to get her a gift. Not this dress though. But he didn't know that.
"Wouldn't it be too loose on her?"
"Nah she will alter it. She can afford that. It's fine babe."
He didn't get your hesitance.
"It's just that-"
A snore startled you. You felt terrible, wanting to argue with him over a dress when he was bone tired after a long day at work.
But you couldn't sleep. The dress kept popping off in your head. It had felt right on you, just you. You missed the feel of it, soft on your skin and the hue matching your complexion. Red really was your color.
Monday, after work you walk over to the study he had set up for himself in your bedroom. A pair of glasses perched on his nose, the table lamp casting a warm glow on his shiny lip, he looked extremely hot for lack of a better word. Oh. What a man. All he was doing was licking his lip poring over a stack of papers and yet you were weak in the knees.
Feeling an extra presence, he turned to catch you ogling at him shamelessly. Smirking, he beckoned you over.
Like a moth drawn to a flame, you sauntered over to him and sat in your destined seat- his thighs. Picking you up and placing you in a position more comfortable to him he kissed the top of your head returning to his task at hand. You didn't mind the silence. You needed peace and quiet to continue drooling over your husband.
You never bothered with the finances anymore. Your whole life you had burdened yourself with financial choices for your family and after months of training Cheol how to file taxes, he had eased that burden from you. He was good with numbers after all.
"Come back to me baby".
You were drawn away from your admiration for your man by a rude nudge.
"Hmm?"
"Now you choose to respond? I have been calling you for some time now."
Oh you hadn't noticed that. Time flies slowly in dream land.
As if to prove a point, his thumb came to wipe out the bottom corner of your chin, wiping your drool condescendingly.
You turned to glare at him, his comical eyebrow wag making you giggle.
"I wasn't even-"
"Sure you were not drooling over me baby. Flattery's nice and all but not today horn dog." A long kiss on your lips leaving you breathless
How you quickly changed from that couple who couldn't keep their hands off each other to the ones who needed to schedule their sexy times was truly comical.
He kissed your droopy shoulders and resumed writing down the expenditure for the month. For a man who resented his father, he did carry an uncanny resemblance to him.
Perhaps now was the best time to approach your topic. The one you had been pushing away for far too long.
"Cheollie?"
"Yes jagi?"
"I want to talk to you about something."
Instantly he placed his pen down and lifted you up, maneuvering you to turn and meet his gaze. He never declined the opportunity to give you attention, when the topic was serious. Knowing you, you must have killed yourself by overthinking before making the move to approach him.
Now that you had his full attention you were blushing under his scrutinizing gaze feeling rather stupid for having this conversation in the first place. But you were in too deep and your husband wouldn't leave you till you told him so tell him you will.
After a quick change in the topic that is.
"Arin is pretty upset that a page got flamed, we need to buy a new book for her."
"You are doing that thing again."
"What thing?"
"That thing where you change the topic, according to how you fit the mix. Like right now, you were not coming over here to talk about Arin."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Is he implying you never talk about your children unless you need something from him?
"Oh my Y/n! I meant nothing wrong, please . stop . overthinking. love."
To prove his point he kissed your forehead with every word. Well, too late for that.
Shaking you to get you out of your downward spiral, he- "look it's late and I am hammered. I can't go to sleep without you next to me asleep. Please tell me love. No judgments."
Right.
"It's just that-"
"Mhmm? "
He gestured for you to continue talking , his full focused attention on you.
"The dress? The scarlet one?"
A small nod.
"I want that. "
Furrowed eyebrow.
"-please."
" Didn't you buy this for Nana though?"
"I lied. I brought it for myself." There was an angry tick on his face. He abhorred being lied to.
"I--." Fuck your palms were sweating. Why was this harder than you thought?
"I wanted to buy something for my office dinner this weekend."
"I thought you were not going for that."
Now when did you say that?
"I was called in for work, remember? I have to take over Soonyoung's shift."
Oh yeah. You had completely forgotten about that.
"Can we send them to daycare though? I already missed out on the team retreat, Juria keeps insisting that I make it for this at least and I- I just want to go , client relations and what not."
You both knew you were lying. You just wanted one night from the kids and husband all dolled up, in a nice hotel eating good food for free. That's all you wanted.
He couldn't figure that out.
"Well if that's what you want to do, go for it love. We'll call in Nana to watch the kids."  It was that easy?
He continued, "She'll be happy with the dress you bought for her. Works just as well, for both of us." Or not.
You took a deep breath. " I want to wear the dress Cheol."
He stared at you puzzled. "What's so special about this dress, love?"
"It's beautiful and you told me too."
You had resorted to stare at him petulantly. He was very confused now. Was he not giving you enough attention?
"You have all these outfits- it's all branded and in excellent quality."
He began to laugh sardonically.
"They were all gifts, baby. I didn't buy any of them."
"I know, that's the point Cheolie, you have all this nice selection and I have nothing nice to wear to a party."
"That's not true. Remember the dress Eomma bought for you? You never wore it once, it's still brand new"
How could you ever forget. The infamous red and green outfit your mother in law had 'gifted' you after many not so subtle insisting from her son. It was shimmery, extremely ill fitting around your boobs and overly tight around the stomach.
The sleeves had flairs on them and worst of all, the dress was mix patterned- polka dots on top and stripes at the hem. It was hideous. For a woman as well put together as she was in terms of fashion, you knew this was a choice.
But you didn't want to complain about that to her son. You couldn't add more grievances and create more fissure between the one parent who still reaches out.
"But this looks better on me and I want to wear this." You were not above acting out like a child. You had plenty of inspiration to draw from.
Cheol was laughing but you knew this was a way to mask his irritation at your behavior.
"Don't you think you are being a little greedy?"
No sooner had the word escaped his mouth than he regretted it. Your rigid stance on his lap proved that was quite the triggering word. You folded like you had been slapped, staring at him with huge eyes.
'Greedy?' One night away from kids and a husband for a team dinner that was mandated by the office, in a dress that you wished to have and now you were suddenly greedy?
Before he could redeem himself, you were out of his lap, patting down your cramped up legs agreeing to it all.
"You are right, I am being greedy. I'll just call off the whole thing. I'll stay home with the kids. Hansol has been acting out recently, he does need me, I can tell and Arin- she keeps asking me for a Roald Dahl book, I could just buy that for her instead of whatever this is. How greedy of me indeed."
"Oh come on Y/n that's not what I meant. Please let's talk about this through love."
"Y/nie."
"Y/n"?"
But you had  already settled down in bed storming off, not giving him the satisfaction to see your teary eyes. Swallowing down the weight in your throat, you stared at the wall in defiance. One more  sleepless night. Still dreaming about the dress. You decided it's time to let it go now. After all, you could agree that it was indeed greed.
Park Juria was a woman of little words and several actions. A whirlwind to those around her, she kept up her facade of a ferocious young lady, choosing to revel in that reputation so as not let anyone walk all over her and the business she's built up from scratch.
But some people did get in, choosing to bring down those walls and penetrating those defenses. You were one such person. Extremely soft spoken, like a little lamb not given to any one's business but your own.
She had taken you under her wing after seeing her team taking advantage of your kindness and your inability to say no. Had whisked you away from under all those papers weighing you down and forced you to a cafe. Your eyes had skittishly darted around the place, feeling out of place, eyes bulging out at the atrocious prices for a small latte. Not wanting to make you even more uncomfortable, she had brought you what she assumed would be a good enough order.
Your cute smile and enlightened eyes after the first sip proved her theory right. Wanting to see more of that smile, she had ordered in two extra cheesecakes, a parfait and five more of their couture doughnuts.
You looked pleadingly at her and asked if she would think less of her if she could pack all these treats for her children at home.
Her heart squeezed at your softness. always thinking about your children and made up her mind that as long as she was physically able to, no one was going to take advantage of you and your warmheartedness ever again. Not on her watch.
Which explained why bile rose in her throat seeing you wipe your tears furiously instead of finishing the day's work. She was going to get to the bottom of this. Employee Harassment was a real offense, you had risen up in your ranks, you couldn't be taking in others shit again. Who'd be so dehumanizing to add more extra work to a mother of three kids?
"Choi Y/n, the boss wants to see you in her office right now please."
Shit, was your unproductivity that obvious? It was just a bad day all in all.
"I-I can explain."
"Sit down Choi."
Before you  began your string of apologies, she gave you a tissue to blow out your nose and thrusted a glass of water your way to hydrate you. Your red nose was a giveaway you had cried for far too long.
It's not everyday Choi Seungcheol gets called to the reception lounge  and it's hell as not everyday, he gets to see Park Juria, or someone who he could assume was Park Juria, your boss looking down at him with absolute spite. If he was in her company, he'd know for sure that he was getting fired with all the daggers he was throwing his way.
"Choi Seungcheol you fucker."
Needless to say he left the office room with his tail between his legs looking like a scolded puppy.
Despite multiple protests, your boss, worming her way to be your best friend, had dropped you home and you were eternally grateful for that. You hadn't felt like using the public transport anyway.
Torn between using beef or chicken as the protein for dinner, you had failed to notice the silence upon entering the door. There was no usual shove of hands reaching out to you. No book thrusted into your face and no winded Cheollie behind it all.
"Welcome home, my love."
You were instead greeted by a  small flicker of light from the passage. An array of candle lights, and a Choi Seungcheol standing there with a single rose, taking your breath away with a heart stopping smile.
"D-did I forget something? Was it our anniversary? I am so sorry bab-"
"No no, you forgot nothing love" in saying so, he pulled you closer to him wrapping his arm around the small of your back kissing your questions away.
One single kiss left you out of breath as you blinked up at him, your mind blank. Chuckling, he removed the bag from around your shoulder and chose the exact moment to hoist you up, wrapping your legs around him. He set you down after a long make-out session. No words were exchanged, but you both needed air.
Unlike you, he didn't look so disheveled, still looking dapper in the red suit his Eomma had gotten him for Christmas last year. There was a twinkle in his eyes, his pearly whites shining down at you.
"W-what's happening?"
"Remember that scarlet dress?"
"Oh here we go again! Cheol I am giving that outfit to Nana, period. you were right."
"Hear me out love, I wasn't done." He was pouting at you, a finger around your lips.
"Well you said you didn't get to take any pictures of you in that, and I was thinking, let's have an indoor date. Just you and me. The kids are at Hannie's for the day and before you start, Mingyu is there watching Hannie.
Alright Minseo is there, keeping an eye out on Mingyu. Let's have dinner in our best outfits and take some photos. We deserve to make some  memories too. And no, you don't have to worry about Nana wearing what you already wore for a few hours, trial rooms exist and people wear what's already worn before."
You suppose you could get behind that. You were also looking forward to wearing that dress again, if just for a few minutes. You loved it too much to let it go.
But also-
"I gave Gyu a rundown of everything the kids would need- Ari's eye drops, the part of Heidi's story they should avoid telling Sollie, all of your milk supplies for Hana and the recording of you singing their favorite lullaby in case they need you.
Ari has 'Elsa' , Sollie has his 'Anna' and Hana has her caterpillar plushie.  Arin has promised to eat dinner, Sollie has promised to give no fuss to his uncles, and I could swear Hana swore to never cry more than once. Point is, kids are safe."
Everything was said in one breath leaving you no room for interruptions. As if you could say any.
You were in awe of the man who knew you more than you knew him.
Still looking down at you with a fond expression, he tucked your hair behind your ears, using the other hand to undress you.
He loved you when you were like this, pliant beneath his hands, just blinking at him with your starry eyes letting him have his way with you. After having undressed you down to just your chemise, he brought out that dress from behind him.
"Where-?"
"Shh love, no thoughts." Hushing you again with kisses.
"Step in."
Tentatively you lifted your legs and stepped into the dress, watching him clad it around you. Goosebumps were rising along your body at his tenderness lifting your arms to fit around the sleeve.
Zipping you close , he took a step back and admired your form.
You had never felt more beautiful than right now. His eyes swept over every part of you admiring you in all fullness.
"Gorgeous. my beautiful wife"
"Says you, my handsome husband."
He preened under your compliment.
"Why don't you fix your hair, and I will set the camera up?
"What's there on the menu?"
"Uhh ramen?"
Fair enough. You can't have it all.
You realize you hadn't seen a camera anywhere in the room , not that you could see much.
Moving into the room you quickly fixed your hair, all disheveled and frayed apart. He had seen you like this and called you sexy? Blinded by love are we Choi?
Coming back out, you see Cheol wearing your purse around his shoulder?
The man in question was stunned to silence looking at you.
Accentuated by your curves, highlighted by the rosiness that brought out the best in you , you were definitely the focal point of his vision. Shaking his head as if to get him out of his reverie, he takes your hands and pulls you to the front door kneeling down and tapping against your shin.
Confusedly you move your leg and he brings out a pair of red heels.
Ohhh they were beautiful! What was going on?
"Shh, love just enjoy the moment."
He strapped on a pair of heels to your feet, giving your knee one fleeting kiss before standing up and taking your right hand, ushering you out the door.
You had no idea what was going on but you were not complaining. Obviously. You loved dolling up and feeling beautiful.
Whisking you away to a car, he opens the door and pushes you in gently, strapping you in with the seat belt and giving you one more kiss.
Walking back to the other door, he sat in the driver's seat turning to you.
"Ready, love?"
You had way too many questions but you suppose he will answer them later. For now, you nod.
And into the night you both race.
Through a fancy dinner that had you panicking at the prices but reassured by Cheol, he let you in on the secret.
The past three weeks of grueling overtime had finally paid off, and he decided to use his extra finances to fund this special date night, even borrowing Hannie’s car. Any protest from you was swiftly silenced by his promise of 'three harsh kisses until you were soft again,' which was enough to make you concede. Never one to argue with a skilled kisser like him, you were eager to enjoy the evening, savoring a dinner and enjoying a moment with your beloved, not worried about fingers grabbing every bite or glass tumblers being toppled down by clumsy hands.
He apologized earnestly for his offhand remarks, and you quickly forgave him--his sorrowful bambi eyes always made you melt. He admitted that the whole thing was a ploy to get you to keep the dress; he loved how it looked on you, and more importantly, you loved it on yourself. Nana could wait for a better dress.
Despite the rule to never talk about the kids, you understood it was nearly impossible to avoid the topic when raising three rambunctious little ones. You hurried through dinner and rushed home to Hannie's, eager to reclaim your gremlins and prevent them from causing any more chaos for your poor friends.
With a haggard Sollie, a sleeping Arin cradled in his arms and a cross eyed Hana who was babbling non stop, possibly scolding you both for leaving her in ''Devil incarnates hands (Cheol's words), you walked hand in hand to the home you had built together.
Five years back, he had vowed that he will never make you unhappy again, and although you had told him it was easier said than done, he relinquished the love and affection you wavered upon him, choosing to never take your love for granted.
Although he was a prodigal son to the nation, fallen from grace, leaning in your arms kept him afloat always.
Big shoutout to @svtiddiess for helping me get my facts straight with this one, thanks love!
Part 3 here Author's Note
A lot of this is puuuure indulgence, a lot of the scenes were cut out because it was too emotional for me to continue lol. Which explains the lack of cohesiveness. I made it slightly fluff. Please don't hate on any of these characters. This is what raw marriage looks like.
My next work I will be exploring the relationship between Cheol and Aria, if you hadn't picked up- he is not her father, if you are coming from the first fic, I have made the changes. Sliiide into my dm's or asks, I'd looove to chat Please read, comment and reblog! They help more than you think. TAGLIST
Tag yourself in the comments for the next work.
@skzbangchanniee I beat you again!

btw i hope you guys know that jeonghan’s serving as a social worker! i think this is most likely bc of his injuries but that means he serves 3 months longer compared to your average enlisted soldier in the army
BUT!! THE BRIGHT SIDE OF THIS!!! is that being a social worker is basically working a 9-5. jeonghan gets to go home to seungkwan every night, sleep in his own bed, and go to work. after basics training, he’s going to and from home every day! this means his free time is totally his and i’m going to assume he’ll be seeing the members as often as much as he (and the members) can afford, although he won’t be able to participate in promotions and activities, he’ll still be around!
i hope this brings some sort of comfort and encouragement for someone out there 🙏
edit: this also means less physical exertion for jeonghan too! so hopefully he can get through basics training without any injuries and finish his service without any serious injuries or incidents
a lil bit more info here!

pookie (yjh)
tags: husband jeonghan, girl dad jeonghan, gn!reader, refers to reader as his wife, he is a clutch dad, very playful dad, the daughter is just like him, yoon genes run deep
girl dad jeonghan who is just kind of a silly individual who loves other people who are silly…. like his best friends are seungcheol (old man silly), joshua (crazy silly), and dokyeom (just a deeply silly individual). he had told you that the reason he liked hanging out with them was because they were always so entertaining and willing to laugh with him. life is too short to not be laughing whenever you can!
girl dad jeonghan who laughs at the same thing your toddler kid does. not gonna lie… his humor probably fits around little kids. he laughs at fart jokes and likes teasing. this is probably why jeonghan gets along with your daughter so well.
girl dad jeonghan who has a good eye for cute things, so he likes dressing up your daughter. ever since she was a baby, he has always liked staying up just a little later to coordinate her outfits with you. you hadn’t expected him to be this invested in this part of your baby’s life.
girl dad jeonghan who likes doing your daughter’s hair before school. since he also had long hair in the past and grows his hair out into a pookalicious bob every now and then, he is someone who knows hair. he braids your daughter’s hair and lets her learn how to do it on his hair. sometimes they both come up to you and ask you to do a matching hairstyle on them. of course… you have to join in on the fun too.
girl dad jeonghan who doesn’t have a problem with playing along with your daughter’s tea parties. she wants a tea party? then let there be teacakes. he always goes the full mile for her. you often wonder how he has the stamina to keep up with her, but he takes naps at the same time she does. you have a lot of those photos in your camera roll.
girl dad jeonghan whose favorite school day is bring your father to school day. they wear matching outfits, just to flex on the other dads in your daughter’s class. he prints out the picture they take together every year, and you two keep it in an album in your bedroom.
girl dad jeonghan who doesn’t know pop culture or new artists that well but still learns the dances to your daughter’s favorite kpop songs so he can teach her too. her favorite thing is learning dances from her dad and seeing him perform. when she was old enough to dance, you’d bring her along to times that you watched seventeen’s practices.
girl dad jeonghan who laughs when she picks up phrases from him or tries to copy him. he sometimes sees her just carrying around a plastic spoon or falling asleep with it in her hand. when she gets scared, she has a three pitch whine that makes him wonder where he’s heard it form while you wonder how both of them got to be so similar.
girl dad jeonghan whose daughter calls him pookie, because that’s what you used to call him when she was a baby. he never corrected her until later. (“not pookie but dad!” “pookie!”) honestly, he doesn’t mind and finds it funny anyways. his members tease him and call him pookie too, but he’s not as forgiving to them as he is with his daughter.
girl dad jeonghan who melts at your daughter’s aegyo. he always asks you how she’s so good at it, especially when she wants something. but, you know better. everything she’s used is all learned from him. he just doesn’t know his own trick are being used against him! he always encourages your daughter to do aegyo on seungcheol so he can buy her snacks, though. (and it works every time…)
girl dad jeonghan who is protective of his daughter. he asks his group members to back up when you visit with her so that she doesn’t get overwhelmed. one at a time! gently hold her! support her neck! don’t spit on her mingyu! his group members always joke around that he brags about his daughter all the time but only nags when they get to actually see her in person.
girl dad jeonghan who loves seeing his daughter get along with her kpop idol uncles. she’s charmed all the members of seventeen and has them wrapped around her precious little finger. even his hyungwon hyung thinks she’s the cutest gem ever. as they should. that’s his daughter.
finally, girl dad jeonghan who finds himself lucky to be able to love your daughter and you.

SVT!Dad HCS
->first time meeting the boyfriend of their teenage daughter (Part 1)
-> d/b/n visits them at home to eat dinner together
Tumblr media
Seungcheol
"... took him long enough"
he was well aware of this boy who dated his daughter for several weeks now
but having literally no information about d/b/n nearly killed him
if it wasn't for his s/o Seungcheol would have already hired an private investigator
he's very protective over his daughter
one wrong move and the boy can say his prayers
wouldn't be easy to impress either
wears a poker face throughout the whole dinner
will observe d/b/n closely
to his daughter's despair Seungcheol would interrogate the boy without mercy
making very clear whose daughter he is dating
and that breaking her heart was no option if he treasures his life
would give his daughter his honest first impression of d/b/n after he leaves
Seungcheol would try to say good things about d/b/n -if there was anything that he saw as a positive character trait-, but would not hesitate to tell his daughter about the things he views as problematic about d/b/n
"And it's not only me who thinks that way... Kkuma could also sense d/b/n bad vibes!"
wants no "gangster boyfriend" to break his precious daughter's heart
Tumblr media
Jeonghan
"So she's that age now...huh"
having a younger sister he should have seen such a situation coming
but why so soon??
knowing how significant the first relationship can be for a teenager, he tries to not scare the boy away
would offer d/b/n a weak smile and introduce himself
his s/o would be the one to ask d/b/n some questions and start a conversation now and then
while Jeonghan would observe the boy infront of him quietly
how is d/b/n treating my daughter?
is he politely to s/o?
what does these answers tell me about him?
how is his body language?
"You like Monsta X?"
it was the first time Jeonghan spoke in a while this evening
"Uhm.. Who?"
"You don't know this K-Pop Group?..... I see, so you´re that kind of guy....Interesting"
he then would continue eating
knowing very well that d/b/n would be so confused now
nobody said anything about not messing with the boy a bit
would ask his daughter later in the evening if she was pleased with how the evening went
their conversation would be filled with honesty
Jeonghan would carefully listen to his daughter´s impression of the evening
"So... do you like him?"
" He seems... decent"
"Dad!? Do you just dislike him because he doesn't know the K-Pop Group Monsta X ?"
"Nooo! ...It´s more because I'm not sure if I will ever think that someone is good enough for you"
his daughter rolls her eyes while smiling
"But now that I'm thinking about it... Not knowing Monsta X... How did you manage to find such a person?"
"........I was honestly shocked too Dad !"
Which member(s) should I do next? Thank you for reading it <3

Seventeen as dads part 3 (All members)
I am so obsessed with this series, I’m weak for dad!seventeen More dad!SVT and other fics on Seventeen Masterlist <3 Genre: FLUFF
→Choi seungcheol
Tumblr media
"Will you help dada fix the showerhead?" Seungcheol asks your first born daughter, Siah. Seungcheol was in the bathroom being stubborn that he could fix the showered in the bathroom himself. Your 2 foot high daughter leans on the door frame looking up at her father.
She nods as her dad asks her to help.
"Can you hand me that wrench?"
"Wench?" she repeats wrongly.
"W - RENCH" cheol corrects her again.
"This one?" she points her little finger to every tool in the box and finally gets to the one he wanted. Cheol was very patient with her. He believed in her, it helped built her confidence too.
She handed her dad the wrench.
Cheol did some pushing and pulling, meanwhile siah really wanted hands on experience in this plumbing apprenticeship.
"How are my two star plumbers doing?" you ask walking into the bathroom to see what trouble these two were up to.
Cheol now had Siah on his shoulder while she played with the showerhead acting like she was helping fix it.
"We're almost done, my associate here is new so she's a bit confused" he says pointing to her daughter on him.
Suddenly there is a 'thak" sound and water comes down pouring on cheols face.
You burst out laughing.
“What are you laughing at?” He asks playfully and pulls you into the shower area so now you’re also soaked. This is responded with some sqeals and squeaks.
“Never calling this plumber duo again” you say laughing.
“Well the plumber duo loves you” he says with a cheesy smile and takes siah off his shoulder to bring her between the two of you, now shes soaked too.
→Yoon Jeonghan
Tumblr media
"Stop pushing our kid into the pool" you say giggling as Jeonghan playfully throws your 5 year old son, Hyun woo into the water.
Hyung woo hated the water when he was younger, especially the sea. But now it's a mammoth task to get him out of the pool.
"Again! Again!" Hyun woo screams while you could see jeonghan's energy battery running low.
"He'd make you do this all day" you say sitting poolside, reading a book.
"That's all, that's enough" Jeonghan says and pulls Hyun woo out of the pool, now comes the tantrum. Jeonghan uses the last of his power to pull his son out of the pool and airplane him to where you are sitting. He dropped your tantrum throwing son on you. He made you scoot in the small pool chair and stuck close to you, putting his head on your shoulder, boy was he exhausted.
"Does your battery have enough power to pass me the sunscreen?" you playfully ask him.
"There's always a reserve battery for you my love" he says and also gives you a complimentary peck on the shoulder before he retracted to the same position as before.
→Hong Joshua
Tumblr media
There was chaos in the Hong Residence as two boys, Dojoon 7 and taehyun 5, run around yelling and screaming. Two hyperactive boys were definitely a lot to handle.
"Boys, Boys!" Joshua claps his hand to get their attention.
"I have a mission for you"
their eyes light up and Joshua has their full attention. They loved missions, they recently got into spy movies and when they hear the word mission, they snap into their alter ego, little spies.
"Dojoon's mission is to clear up your toys on the floor and Taehyun's mission is to bring all the clothes from the dryer to the living room then mom and I will teach you how to fold laundry" he recites all the tasks. You loved doing chores as a family, it was possible on the weekends and you thought the boys would learn how to do things. It was the easiest way.
The kids rush to do their chores and the first one to finish was the elder one. This made the younger one upset, he came crying to you. The two boys are very competitive.
You end up giving them both some cookies. The calmed Taehyun down.
“We need to get them off cookies”
“Just this once please” you tell your husband pulling a cute puppy face. The boys loved cookies and it was easier to calm them down that way. Joshua hates it.
“Last time, promise?”
“Promise” you say pecking his cheek.

“Noo I don’t want to, what if I hurts, and you flush it away”
“You want to keep it?”
Your son nods.
Your 2 and a half year old son is sobbing on his potty chair, not pooping because he thinks its a part of his body and he’s going to lose an arm if he poops.
You knew if was something Jun might’ve told him so you call him over.
“Hes not letting me flush his poop, he thinks we can raise it” you explain to jun sighing.
Jun ends up laughing at this.
“Please?” Your son asks in a small timid voice.
“Its going to start stinking baby”
“It already does” Jun chimes in.
“Caterpillar”
“You think its a caterpillar?” Jun asks and your son nods.
“Its just rubbish, it goes into the dustbin, the toilet is the poop dustbin.” Jun tells his son.
After half and hour of discussion, your son was finally ready to let it go.
“Where is he learning all this?” Jun comments in general.
“Are you sure its not you?” You ask playfully.
“No wayyy!” He says clearly lying.
“You’re lucky we didn’t have to raise his poop”

"Appa, I'm going to fall, I'm going to fall" you 6 year old son, Ji ho screams at the top of his lungs. Both the tigers are very loud, it took you some time to get used to. You literally gave birth to a Soonyoung junior. They're too similar. So they clash a lot.
“I haven’t even let go, stop screaming”
“Appa appa!” The little boy screams and goes down the small hill at the park.
“Don’t look back, look ahead, you’re doing it”
“Im going to hate you if you let go!” Your son screams at your husband.
Knowing your husband, he definitely let go and you hear your sons screams again.
“Appa i hate you!”
“You’ll never learn if i don’t let go, you want me to hold the back all the way to school? Whats the point of riding?” Hoshi scolds him.
Your son comes running to where you were sitting and he takes his shoes off to sit on the blanket.
“Appa is not trust worthy”
“You’ll thank me one day!” Soonyoung says and plops himself next to you on the picnic blanket, putting his head on your lap.
Your son joins him and now the two boys were playfully fighting to keep their heads on your lap.
“She’s my mom!” Jiho tells his dad to grt off of you. All this makes you giggle.
“Shes my wife! Get your own wife!” Soonyoung tells him off playfully.
“Im 6!” Your son exclaims.

“See, now if I move my piece 4 places, I catch one of yours, so you take it back to your house” wonwoo explains to your 5 year old daughter.
She was suddenly on the verge of tears when her dad captured her piece in a game of ludo. She clearly hated losing.
“Appa is cheating!” She kicks her feet in annoyance.
“Thats the rules” Wonwoo says very logically defending himself from a 5 year old. It was hilarious to watch.
“She’s 5! Let her win” you say from the couch shile you watch the two cuties play ludo on your living room floor.
“She’s going to become a brat if I let her win” wonwoo comes back to you with more logic. Hes not wrong but once?
“Just let her win once!” You ask him again. He shakes his head.
“Come here, you and me, we’ll be one team” you say as you slide down the couch on to the floor.
Your daughter calms down a little while she sits on your lap. “Lets make daddy lose” she says and rolls the die again.
You very strategically play and capture 2 of wonwoos pieces in the next 3 rolls. Your daughter was happy now and wonwoo was stressed.
“Yes! We won! Daddy lost!” She sticks her tongue out at Wonwoo.
“See? This is what I meant” he says and bites his lower lip acting like he’s angry about the gesture.
You giggle at your cute husband.
→ Lee Jihoon
Tumblr media
“Im going to throw it now, eyes on the ball okay?” Jihoon tells his 6 year old daughter who is wearing a hand glove thats bigger than her face. It was cute to watch.
You could see them through the living room window where you sat to read a book.
Jihoon makes the first throw that goes over the little ones head.
Her eyes follow the ball like her dad asked her to.
“Its too high”
“Jump to catch it” he teaches her but she groans.
“Just throw me a ball I can catch”
“Jump jump” he repeats stubbornly throwing another ball over her head.
She hates running to get the ball. This time she makes it her mission to make her dad run and get the ball. She throws the ball full swing and it hits jihoon right where the sun don’t sun.
You burst out in laughter watching the love of your life fall to the ground and groan in pain.
“Thats it for the day” he says between the pain and finally gathers himself enough to come back to the living room.
“That was some revenge shot”
“Our daughter is very powerful” he says remembering the pain and almost wincing again just at the thought.
“Im sure she takes after you honey” you smile at him.
→ Xu Minghao
Tumblr media
Your younger daughter and your husband, Minghao, were standing in front of the bathroom mirror.
Minghao lost a bet yesterday about something silly and the punishment was to make your daughter hair. It was punishment because your daughter hated it when someone touches her hair or brushed it. It's a recent development. She would throw tantrums and it was just difficult.
It was minghao's first time touching her hair and he was visibly nervous too. He didn't want to hurt his little princess. Understandably.
"What do you want me to do today, princess?" he says hovering his hand over her hair, not sure where to put it.
"I don't want to!!" here it starts.
Minghao gets down to her level on his knees to talk to her. That's how he gets everyone. He has a way with words. A smooth talker you fell for.
"Why not?"
"It hurts"
"Daddy will do it softly, very very softly, and we stop the second you feel hurt okay?" he explains to her and try to touch her hair again.
He does it so softly like even the slightly touch would hurt his daughter.
"Ah" your daughter lets out a yell and Hao begins to inspect that area softly pushing hair away so he can see.
"Look, she has a rash"
she was not throwing a tantrum. She really was hurt, it made you feel horrible. you immediately apologise to her and bring some ointment for it.
"I'll brush it softly okay? so the knots are out" he tells her before he continues. She trusts him, you trust him.
You take some ointment out to put on her but she refuses.
"I want daddy to do it" she says and you nod understandingly.
He helps her with the ointment and your daughter finally has brushed hair. She hops away happily while you watch.
"I can't believe I missed it"
"It's normal, don't worry" he reassures you.
"This wasn't even punishment, she loves you doing her hair" you complain and he chuckles.
"Want me to do your hair?"
"Only if you do it as softly"
"Always"
→ Kim Mingyu
Tumblr media
Kim mingyu, your husband of 5 years was working out in his work out room, he made a area attached to the living room a work out area so he didn't have to go to the gym, but occasionally still sometimes ends up going to socialise with friends while he exercises.
He had become much more of an exercise person once Bora was born cause he wanted to be as energetic with her as possible. He wasn't ready for his body giving up if he had to play with Bora or worse save her life.
You were passing by his work out area with the laundry basket but watching him working out your feet stopped and you ended up staring at him.
"What are you looking at?" his voice snaps you out of your staring.
"Huh?"
He smirks and you throw a sock at him at shut him up. If you stared longer you would've drooled physically.
You watch Bora's little legs run to her dad.
"Hello, to you too!" you say sarcastically and playfully as your daughter ignored you. Bora found Mingyu's gym contraptions very fascinating. She might be into exercising too. She loves being active.
Bora climbs her dad and somehow gets to his shoulders. What a total monkey. Only her tail is missing.
He ends up doing chin ups with bora on his back, no idea how he is this strong, but you were glad that he is.
while you come back to the living room with dry clothes to fold you see mingyu doing push ups with Bora on the floor.
"You're too sweaty" she screams as Mingyu's seat drops on Bora who was under him, every time he came down he would shower bora with kisses as she counted.
It was the sweetest thing to watch.
"I'm done, you can stop staring"
oh the things you would do to wipe that smirk off his face, right now all you could do was throw a dry towel to his sweaty face.
→ Lee Dokyeom
Tumblr media
"What is this you do daddy?" the little girl asks her dad while he puts on multiple toner pads on his face.
Since it was a Sunday, dokyeom scattered all his skincare on the living room floor, ready with a bare face to pamper his.
"This is for my skin, so it's soft and pretty, like yours" he explains to her while she listens intently.
"My skin is soft and pretty?"
"of course it is, because you're a baby"
"I'm a big girl, I want to do this too" she whines a little. You overhear this conversation.
"should I cut you some cucumbers to put on your eyes?"
You take your child to the kitchen and she watches you cut some thin slices of cucumber, she was very excited. She ends up taking the plate to her dad rushing to be a part of this salon play.
You follow her out while she lays on the floor next to her dad. You sit by her feet and suddenly DK starts a salon skit.
"Hello Ma'am, what would you like today?"
"Cucumbers" she responds cutely.
DK places the cool cucumbers on her eyes that make her shiver.
"Would you also like a foot massage ma'am?" you ask her as you rub her feet. You hadn't done this since she was a little baby. It brought back memories and how much she had grown.
Your daughter, meanwhile is busy munching on the cucumber she's supposed to have over her eyes.
"Hey, are you just eating it!" DK scolds her playfully.
She giggles in response. Her giggles are the most adorable sound.
Between the massage and the cucumber facials, your daughter falls asleep in the middle of the both of you. DK slides his butt to sit next to you. You subconsciously put your head on his shoulder.
"She's growing up too fast, I don't like it"
"Wait for the day she says 'I don't need you' I'm going to start bawling my eyes out" DK says and a visual of him doing that dramatically flashes in your head that makes you giggle.
"I'll be right next to you probably also sobbing my eyes out" you mention and he gives you the sweetest smile.
→Boo Seungkwan
Tumblr media
Your husband was pacing back and forth with your 2 year old son in his arms trying to get him to go to bed. It was 11pm already, way past his bed time, but you just couldn't get him to sleep.
It had become practice that Seungkwan sings him a soft lullaby and some walking in his father's arms knocks him right out.
You saw him whispering a song and couldn't help but hum it yourself while you put away all the toys he played with today so they don't poke your feet in the morning.
Your humming perked his eyes and seungkwan gave you a side eye for waking his baby up, you mouth a sorry.
"Mommy's here?" you wakes up to find you. He never gets to see you in the night because you come home late from work.
He immediately wants to come to you, you take him for a second say hi give him some kisses and give him back to seungkwan, despite all his whining, sleepy whining.
You pat seungkwan's back as a 'best dad' pat and move on to the toys on the living room.
→Choi Vernon
Tumblr media
You were surrounded by paper and scissors and scrap paper. Your kindergarten going son, Derek had a project at school to make a jar full of cranes to bring to class.
Of course, a child's project is the whole house's project. Now, it was you, Vernon and Derek Sunday afternoon, making a jar full of cranes.
You were teaching Derek how to make a paper crane and the folds were too tough for a 3 year old.
Vernon folded one crane a little too big and filled the entire jar.
"Tada! We're done!" he announces clearly with so much space left.
Derek giggles. "No daddy, there is so much left"
"No look? It's all done, one big crane fits the jar, just tell your teacher that" he jokes with him.
It makes you giggle too.
You end up having a nice family bonding time when you do arts and crafts with Derek.
→Lee Chan
Tumblr media
“The same one?”
Your daughter nods.
Your daughter, 5, has been asking for the same story about the elephant and the ant for the 100th time. She only sleeps once shes heard that story.
Chan can recite that story in his sleep. Its the same thing over and over. Your daughter could finish his sentences at this point. Once the story was done, Chan tucks her in and turns the light off.
“How can I forget?” Chan pretends to gasp and showers your daughters face with kisses.
Your daughter wipes her face.
“Don’t do that, Im a big girl now”
“Okay okay” He says and shuts the door, it does break his heart a little bit.
He comes to you looking a little mopey.
“Is she in bed?” You ask your husband. “Yeah” he says and comes to cuddle you.
“She said she doesn’t want to be tucked in with kisses anymore” he mutters. You run your fingers through his hair. “She’s growing up a little too fast, I don’t like it” he pouts.
“She’ll always be your little girl” you tell him.
“Always”
