This came from an idea from one of Jenelle Catherina's livestreams. I mentioned that one of my longest held headcanons was that Jane/Penny is just absurdly strong for no reason. Like, could literally pick up any of the choir members if she wanted. And then Jenelle was like "what if she carried Ricky bridal style".

And so I was like "Bet".

Ricky is very much enjoying getting swept off his feet. 💖

When it comes to my mental Jane Doe designs, I keep flip-flopping between:

1. A tall and gangly redhead Raggedy Ann Jane (Inspired by Scout Graham and Jenelle Catherina, primarily)

2. A short and chubby Jane with a shaggy auburn bob that hides her big doe eyes (Inspired by Em Flosi)

3. Same as 2., but tall and gangly like 1. (inspired by Mary Jane Oken and Clare Salazar)

4. A Jane with a white bob that has patches of black near the front, freckles on her cheeks, and heterochromia. Inspired by Amy Parenteau, Hayden Howe, and Emily Reusswig)

All of them have facial cracks like Mary Jane’s does.

Love your designs of the choir! Were you inspired by any productions in particular for them or were these more original ideas?

Oh wow! Thank you so much! Well,

My design for jane doe is completely inspired by the jane doe played by jenelle catherina, at the majestic repertory theatre. Her interpretation is absolutely amazing. My noel design is just straight up kholby wardell. I can’t really unsee noel as kholby in my brain, I think just because kholby played him for so long and the role means so much to him. My ricky design is sorta based on the interpretation that nick pereira + alex wyse have of him! (Especially the space age bachelor man outfit). As for my Mischa design, I sort of just made it up? I took inspiration from the portrayal ray winters has of him (the red hat, the tattoos on his left arm, the earring) but his hair and most of his features are definitely different.

I haven’t gotten solid designs yet for constance or ocean, which i’ll be working on and will definitely post, but thank you so much for the kindness! I apologize for rambling so much <3

Majestic Rep Penny Lamb🙏🙏🙏

I saw that one Penny Lamb design that Jenelle posted (Credits to dxmmy_n0t_h3r3 on YouTube) and thought it was really cute so I had to draw it :D

Also! Funny story, I had convinced my friend who had NEVER watched or had heard anything about ride the cyclone other than what the world needs, and the first production they watched was actually majestic reps production, and they kept texting me notes (They loved it and you all have given my friend a new hyperfixation🙏)

Are those photos/videos in It’s Not A Game actually your childhood photos?

Yes! Actually funny story, before RTC I’ve never seen my childhood videos before! All my childhood videos are on camcorder cassette tapes that were never converted. There’s a ton of them though because my dad loves to take photos and videos for the memories since I was born.

I’ve only ever seen photos of me as a kid so hearing me talk and move around was so wild 🤯 Our director first played the video during a run without warning and we were all reduced to tears 🥺 could barely got through the song haha. A lot of times during the show I’d watch the video from backstage and tear up 🥲

Really happy I was encouraged to through RTC, and it made the show all the more special to me! Thanks for the question! 💗
